  • Bangladesh’s Hasina to return in December to surrender with party allies

Bangladesh’s Hasina to return in December to surrender with party allies

Bangladeshi ex-premier Sheikh Hasina, who faces a death sentence at home where her party is banned, told Reuters she and top party members intend to return from exile in India around December and surrender voluntarily. The longest-serving leader of Bangladesh said she and her Awami League colleagues plan to come back on their own and appear before the court, challenging the country’s handling of its most prominent political rival.

A return could intensify political tensions in the nation known for its garment exports, as the Dhaka government seeks stability after two years of turmoil. Conversely, it might help mend the strained relationship with India, which worsened after New Delhi hosted her. Bangladesh has repeatedly urged India to extradite her.

She revealed she has not discussed her plans with any foreign government and has not set a specific date for her return. She expects to surrender herself, or believes other exiled Awami League leaders will do so. Among them, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal also faces a death sentence, but Reuters could not reach other party members or verify their whereabouts.

“The authorities in Dhaka want to bring me back—they keep sending letters to India requesting my return,” she said. “I will go myself.”

The Bangladeshi government did not respond to requests for comment on her statements, nor did India’s foreign ministry, which in April said it was reviewing Bangladesh’s extradition request and aimed to strengthen bilateral relations.

Once a champion of democracy, Hasina has been a dominant figure in Bangladesh for nearly half a century, rising to prominence after her father, an independence leader, was assassinated along with much of her family in a military coup. She initially fought for democracy and was praised for her economic progress, but her prolonged rule has faced accusations of silencing dissent and dismantling democratic institutions—charges she denies. According to a UN report, her crackdown resulted in up to 1,400 deaths.

“Cases have been filed against almost all our leaders and members, and many are in hiding,” she told Reuters from her exile in Delhi. “I’ve decided to return home, and one day, all of you should come back too. We will all surrender in court together.” She declined to specify when she would return or surrender, but emphasized her faith in justice, suggesting that once proceedings begin, the court’s integrity will be questioned, and she wishes to demonstrate that.

Many Awami League members have faced arrests, legal action, and violence since her government was ousted. She said she has not maintained contact with Dhaka over her return plans and emphasized that democracy, voting rights, and justice are not topics to be negotiated secretly. She expressed no fear of imprisonment, recalling her multiple past arrests—including during her early political activism after her father’s death, her detention in 2007 on corruption charges, and her repeated imprisonments during military rule—believing that the people should be the ultimate judges of her leadership.

After her exile ending in 1981, she was detained several times during anti-military campaigns, and in 2007, she was jailed before winning elections in 2008. Her current flight was prompted by threats against her life when crowds approached her residence.

“When a government serves a long time, mistakes happen—no government is perfect,” she said. “But the judgment belongs to the people. That’s why I leave it to them.” She also noted her efforts to reorganize the Awami League through online meetings across Bangladesh’s parliamentary constituencies.

“Even if I can’t participate in elections anymore, why should the party be suspended? If we’ve done poorly, let the people decide,” she added.

Lia Night Threatens Lawsuit After Jordan Deportation, Vows To Return

Digital Phablet – Lia Night threatens legal action after deportation, vows to return to Jordan.

Content creator Lia Night has reignited controversy following her public comments about her deportation from Jordan and a series of provocative statements that quickly went viral on social media.

Night, who was previously expelled from the country after an 18-day stay, addressed the incident in recently circulated videos. In these, she expressed frustration over her removal and declared that this decision will not prevent her from returning in the future.

    Lia Night ليا نايت

According to her statements, she has already secured legal counsel to challenge the measures imposed against her.

“They will not prevent me from entering Jordan,” she stated in one of her videos, asserting her intention to pursue legal action to facilitate her return.

The influencer also described Jordan as a nation that values freedoms, arguing against her ban from entry. Her remarks quickly attracted widespread online attention, sparking debates over her comments and the circumstances of her deportation.

Following her deportation, Night posted earlier videos expressing disappointment. She argued she had misunderstood the legal restrictions in Jordan and questioned why she was expelled from the country.

Her statements at that time sparked widespread criticism, especially after she discussed the legality of sex work and called for Arab nations to reconsider their policies. Many social media users responded strongly, saying her views are incompatible with local laws, cultural values, and social norms.

The recent videos have once again put Night at the heart of heated online discussions.

After her deportation, Night appeared in earlier videos expressing disappointment. She claimed she was unaware of the full legal restrictions in Jordan and questioned her expulsion from the country.

Her comments at that time sparked widespread criticism, especially after she discussed the legal status of sex work and called for Arab countries to rethink their policies on the matter. Many social media users strongly opposed her views, stating they conflict with local laws, cultural values, and social norms.

The recent videos have once again placed Night at the center of heated online debates.

Critics argue that visitors should respect the laws and cultural norms of the countries they visit.

As the debate persists across social media platforms, no official response has been made regarding Night’s recent claims about hiring a lawyer or her announced plans to return to Jordan.

For the moment, the controversy shows little signs of subsiding. Her recent comments have reignited a debate that continues to polarize opinion, keeping Lia Night among the most discussed figures online.

  • UN Reports Displacement Drops to 118 Million

UN Reports Displacement Drops to 118 Million

The UN reported that last year marked the first decline in the global forcibly displaced population in ten years, despite many returning home under difficult and unsafe conditions. By the end of 2025, about 117.8 million people worldwide were displaced from their homes—a decrease of 5.4 million from the previous year.

However, the UN emphasized that the number of people driven from their homes due to conflict, violence, and persecution remains alarmingly high, calling for urgent measures to significantly reduce long-term displacement over the next decade. The decrease was largely attributed to a notable rise in returnees—individuals going back to their origin countries.

In 2025, 14.7 million displaced individuals returned to their places of origin, with 4.4 million of those crossing borders back into their home countries. This return figure was the second-highest recorded since records began 60 years ago, although many returned under perilous conditions. UN refugee chief Barham Salih mentioned that over 90% of these returnees came from Afghanistan, Sudan, and Syria, but warned that most returned to environments still fraught with insecurity, damaged infrastructure, and limited access to essential services and economic opportunities. “Unsafe returns are not a solution,” he stressed. “They risk triggering another cycle of displacement.”

As of late 2025, 41.6 million people remained classified as refugees, including nearly 5.4 million who became refugees during the year. The majority of new refugees—60%—fled from just eight countries, notably nearly one million from war-torn Sudan and close to 800,000 from Ukraine. The report highlighted ongoing crises, such as the conflict in the Middle East triggered by the U.S. and Israel in February, which alone displaced 3.2 million Iranians, and Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March, displacing over a million individuals.

The conflicts in Iran and Lebanon have led many refugees residing there to attempt to return home, often under adverse conditions, including to Syria and Afghanistan. The UN also raised concerns about the shrinking availability of resettlement options, estimating that 2.9 million refugees require third-country resettlement—though only 81,800 resettlement spots were available in 2025, less than half of the previous year’s figure. The decline was especially pronounced in the number of admissions by the United States. The agency warned that the gap between resettlement capacity and urgent needs continues to grow.

UNHCR’s head, Salih—himself a former refugee—noted that prolonged displacement has become increasingly common, with about 70% of refugees now living in protracted situations, which is unsustainable. He called for a new initiative aimed at halving the number of long-term displaced individuals within the next ten years by promoting voluntary returns, resettlement schemes, and humanitarian visas. Salih expressed hope that countries would recognize that a more sustainable solution is possible and support efforts to break the cycle of indefinite displacement.

A new defensive mechanic called Runic Ward acts as a secondary resource for survival, expanding build possibilities across different armor types.

Grinding Gear Games has also added a new in-game build import system, making it easier for players to load community-created builds directly into the game without needing external tools.

  • Savannah Guthrie Returns to Today Show After Mother’s Disappearance

Savannah Guthrie Returns to Today Show After Mother’s Disappearance

Digital Phablet – Savannah Guthrie makes her return to the Today show following the shocking incident involving her mother.

Two months after her mother disappeared, American television host Savannah Guthrie is set to return to the Today show on April 6. In her first interview since Nancy Guthrie went missing, she expressed the importance of returning to the program, stating, “It’s my family.”

“I’m unsure if I can handle it. I don’t know if I’ll still fit in, but I want to try,” Savannah shared during her appearance on NBC’s Today.

On February 1, Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her home near Tucson, Arizona. Although law enforcement has no identified suspect, they believe she was taken against her will. Following her mother’s disappearance, Savannah took a brief hiatus from her hosting duties and opted out of NBC’s Winter Olympics coverage. She explained that returning to the morning news is “a part of my purpose right now,” acknowledging she “won’t be the same” in the upcoming interview.

She added, “When I do return, it will be genuine. I look forward to smiling again. My resilience will be my joy.” Co-host Craig Melvin expressed enthusiasm about her comeback, saying, “The show can’t wait to welcome her back with open arms.”

Nancy Guthrie was last seen on the evening of January 31 at her residence in Catalina Foothills, Tucson, when her family dropped her off around 9:30 p.m. local time (4:30 a.m. GMT). In a recent social media post, Savannah shared her hope that her mother’s kidnapper would do “the right thing,” affirming her belief in the “fundamental goodness of all people.” She also communicated that despite the pain, hope remains alive.

Church members grew concerned after she missed Sunday service, prompting ongoing national searches that have uncovered various clues—ransom notes, discarded gloves, and DNA evidence—yet no significant breakthroughs have been made. The Guthrie family has repeatedly called for her safe return, offering a $1 million reward for information leading to her recovery, on top of the FBI’s $100,000 bounty.

Sheriff Chris Nanos of Pima County stated that Nancy Guthrie was intentionally targeted. While investigators are aware of the possible motives, they have chosen not to disclose details as the investigation continues. Savannah expressed her worry that her mother’s prominence may have made her a target, sharing her remorse in an interview, “I brought this to her bedside. I feel it’s because of me.” She described Nancy before the abduction as being in “severe pain” and having difficulty walking, emphasizing she “can’t just wander off.”

The search remains ongoing as authorities and loved ones hold onto hope for Nancy Guthrie’s safe return.

  • Completing the Main Quest: Solving Who He Returns For in Where Winds Meet

Completing the Main Quest: Solving Who He Returns For in Where Winds Meet

Where Winds Meet features a surprisingly broad story that weaves in dozens of legends and cultural elements from the wuxia genre. The first main chapter, called Heaven Has No Pier, takes place in the region of Qinghe and functions almost as the backstory or origin story for your character’s legend.

This opening chapter is split into four quests, with the final one being For Whom Does He Return. It’s a lengthy quest that does not leave much room for breaks and includes one of the game’s toughest boss fights near the end. If you need help, this walkthrough provides a detailed guide for the final main story quest in Qinghe.

For Whom Does He Return begins after you recover your hidden treasures and finish the previous quest, Dust on the Rhombus.

Meet Yi Dao at the Ruined Temple

The first step is to meet Yi Dao back at the ruined temple where you previously fought the Horse Dancer boss. Talk to Yi Dao to learn about his past and Chu Qingquan. During this conversation, you’ll notice shadowy figures arriving on boats, heading toward Blissful Retreat.

    Attack on Blissful Retreat

Once you show your determination to Yi Dao, hop on his horse and ride into town to stop the invaders. You will quickly get separated. When you regroup, fight off the attackers and help Du Qiaoxian, who will tell you that the village is caught in a maze that traps everyone inside. After dealing with more enemies, follow the path with Du Qiaoxian and Yuan Jin’gang.

You will need to explore four points of interest around the village to gather information. Use the lines around the target reticle to locate each point.

    Saving the Villagers

After scouting the vantage points, it’s time for action. You need to rescue three villagers trapped under rubble in collapsing buildings. To do so, fight through groups of Aureate soldiers. Move to each villager’s location, defeat enemies, and free them.

Next, go to help Ruby and Braid. Fight off enemies at their locations, then head to Sweetwine Tower. There, Yi Dao is in combat with more Aureate soldiers, including their commander. Assist him in defeating them. Once the villagers are safely inside the tower, prepare for more enemy waves.

    The Final Stand

You charge toward Ruby’s flag but don’t make it. Now, you and Yi Dao are surrounded once again by Aureate soldiers. Several waves of enemies will come, each led by a commander. Prioritize taking out the archers first, then focus on the foot soldiers while Yi Dao handles the commander.

    Qianye the Witch

Next, you face Qianye, the witch responsible for the chaos over Blissful Retreat. The fight has multiple phases. The first phase resembles the Heartseeker boss fight from earlier, but the second phase becomes more intense with powerful attacks like sweeping scythe slashes.

Use Meridian Touch to block some of Qianye’s attacks and make her vulnerable. Missing these defenses will cause heavy damage and apply debuffs. When Qianye’s health drops to about half, she will send you into a mirror world, where you face her other half.

In the mirror world, her attacks are similar but different—she may vanish and then charge at you with an overhead slash. When her health is nearly gone, she launches a devastating attack and switches back to her original form. Deal a bit more damage, and you’ll return to the real world, where Yi Dao is still fighting.

Watch the cutscenes and the heroic fight alongside Yi Dao, which ends with you waking up as a horse a few days later.

    Homeward Path

This is a normal part of the game. As Ruby’s horse, Clip-Clop, follow the quest marker back to your character’s location. A short cutscene will then play, completing the quest.

Completing Tainted Grail: Solving Brother Ismat’s Book Return

As you explore the various areas in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, you’ll frequently meet characters who require assistance with a range of tasks, whether it’s finding someone, retrieving an item, or investigating matters they can’t manage on their own.

Some quests are more intriguing than others, especially when they take unexpected twists. For instance, if you’ve encountered Vrell, you know she owns a bookstore. With the chaos caused by the Red Death, discovering that someone is stealing books is the last thing you’d anticipate. Yet, that’s exactly the situation.

How to Begin the Temptation Quest

After you finish the A Delicate Matter quest and some time passes, visit Vrell at her bookstore and have a chat with her. You’ll find out that some extremely valuable books have gone missing, and she needs your help to get them back.

Your first lead is to talk to Walter, a Kamelotian soldier who is a big fan of the stolen books. He can be found just outside her shop.

When you engage with him, he will insist he had nothing to do with the theft but will direct you to a priest who may be involved, despite his usual disdain for such literature.

How to Complete the Temptation Quest

Head to the priest’s home, located just northwest of the city. When you enter the house, you’ll find the priest muttering to himself.

Important: DO NOT TALK TO HIM YET. Before you do, you must read six specific books in his house:

    1. Vrell’s Proof of Delivery – located under the table on the left.
    2. A Sermon on Purity and Temperance and A Clarification on Purity and Temperance – both found on a shelf just past the table on the left.
    3. A Sermon on the Paths of Discipline – sitting on some crates to the right.
    4. Another version of A Sermon on the Paths of Discipline – on the floor just to the right of the priest.
    5. A Sermon on Purity and Temperance – in the bedroom to the right on a small table.

Once you’ve read all these books, you can finally interact with Brother Ismat. During your conversation, you need to get him to confirm he has the stolen books. You also have to choose the right dialogue options when prompted, or the quest may fail.

Here are the essential dialogue choices you need to make:

    • "But what about: Yet it is not the act of the hand that condemns, but the heart that guides it astray."
    • "Speaking on these matters, you seem to adopt an accusatory tone."
    • "I think you allocate sanctity to the wrong things… but it is crucial to find holiness where it truly resides and, at the same time, discern where excessive zeal is unnecessary!"
    • "But is it really for you to judge? The same sermon says: Yet the Prophet’s Judgment is not swift, but discerning and full of care and justice at the same time."
    • "I believe that what people do with their own bodies is their own business."
    • "I’ve met people falling into temptation with good hearts, doing lots of good things for others."

If you select the correct responses and follow the steps accurately, you will convince Brother Ismat to return the books. Return to Vrell to report your success. You have the option to either share the truth about what happened or tell her a falsehood; either way, the quest concludes with Vrell getting her cherished books back.

  • Jason Momoa Confirms Dune 3 Return: I’m Coming Back

Jason Momoa Confirms Dune 3 Return: I’m Coming Back

Fans of the Dune franchise can look forward to seeing more of Duncan Idaho in the upcoming films.

During a promotional event for A Minecraft Movie on Today, Craig Melvin inquired about Jason Momoa’s potential return for Dune 3. He pointed out that Idaho met his end in the 2021 film, but in Frank Herbert’s novels, the character is brought back as a clone in Dune Messiah.

According to Momoa, director Denis Villeneuve plans to follow this plotline, confirming that he will be reprising his role in the third installment of the Dune saga.

“I’m not sure if I’ll get in trouble for this,” Momoa commented when asked about Duncan’s future. “But it’s like Game of Thrones; if you haven’t read the books, that’s not on me, right?”

Momoa put an end to the speculation by clearly stating he’s “coming back.”

“So, Duncan Idaho is returning?” Melvin asked.

“I’m making a comeback,” Momoa replied with a chuckle. “You’ve got me in trouble!”

    Jason Momoa stands and smirks.
    Warner Bros. Pictures

In the initial Dune, Duncan Idaho serves as the swordmaster for House Atreides, developing a deep connection with Paul (Timothée Chalamet). Following the fall of House Atreides, he sacrifices himself to allow Paul and Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) to escape from Sardaukar soldiers.

While it’s not officially labeled a trilogy, Villeneuve has intentions to adapt Dune Messiah for Dune 3.

Filming for the third Dune movie is anticipated to start this summer. Warner Bros. has scheduled a Villeneuve film for December 2026, though the studio hasn’t confirmed either the start or release date for Dune Messiah.

Both Dune and Dune: Part Two have achieved immense critical and financial success for Warner Bros. The original Dune grossed $410 million and won six Oscars out of ten nominations, while Dune: Part Two nearly doubled its predecessor’s box office total with $710 million worldwide and secured two Oscars from five nominations.

You can now stream Dune and Dune: Part Two on Max.

  • Return Faulty Retroid Pocket Minis By March 14 With A Catch

Return Faulty Retroid Pocket Minis By March 14 With A Catch

The Retroid Pocket Mini generated considerable excitement prior to its release, but recent complaints about screen issues have left many users frustrated. In some instances, players find themselves unable to enjoy their favorite games at all. To address this, Retroid is extending the return period from March 8 to March 14; however, there’s a significant limitation: this offer is only available to the first 200 international customers. After this window, returns will no longer be accepted.

Retroid delivered this update through their Discord channel. A number of users have reported problems with certain filters that interfere with scanlines, creating an unsatisfactory viewing experience. More technically, the device outputs at a lower resolution than the advertised 960p, resulting in distortion as it stretches to fit the screen.

While numerous users either don’t notice or are indifferent to these problems, those who pursue a faithful retro gaming experience have voiced their concerns. Players who don’t utilize CRT or gridline filters are generally less affected, while those trying to achieve a specific aesthetic through filters find the results disappointing.

The news has sparked a significant backlash, with many customers expressing outrage that a product with defective screen hardware was shipped, while others feel that the $10 compensation is a slap in the face to loyal customers.

  • All No Return Points in Baldur’s Gate 3 Explained

All No Return Points in Baldur’s Gate 3 Explained

After immersing yourself in the enchanting landscapes, enigmatic caves, and darker regions of Baldur’s Gate 3 for hours, these areas can begin to feel familiar. However, it can be surprising and frustrating to discover that progressing too far in the story can leave you locked out of certain locations forever.

Unfortunately, this is an inevitable part of the game. Once you cross specific boundaries in the narrative, certain areas will no longer be accessible unless you revert to older save files. The good news is that we can guide you on where these critical points of no return are, ensuring you’re well-prepared and not taken by surprise.

Act One: The First Point of No Return

This first instance isn’t strictly a "point of no return," as you’ll still have the ability to return to earlier areas before reaching it. However, it’s significant because advancing beyond this point will prevent you from accessing specific content if you haven’t experienced it yet.

You reach this point of no return as you enter the shadow-cursed lands, which can be done via two routes: either through the Mountain Pass or by taking the elevator in Grymforge.

Important Warning: If you haven’t saved NPCs in Waukeen’s Rest, they will die if you venture into the Mountain Pass, regardless of whether you go further into the shadow-cursed lands.

    Mountain Pass

To access the Mountain Pass, head to the western edge of the map, beyond Waukeen’s Rest (X:-79, Y:572). You’ll encounter a cutscene featuring a group of githyanki attacking Flaming Fist soldiers. You’ll need to handle this githyanki patrol—whether through combat or negotiation—before you can proceed further east into the Mountain Pass.

Within the Mountain Pass, you have the option to continue Lae’zel’s personal quest by locating Crech Y’llek or to advance into the shadow-cursed lands.

    Grymforge

Grymforge is a duergar outpost located in the Underdark. You can reach it by traveling to the Decrepit Village in the Underdark, accessible from the Underdark Beach (X:19, Y:208) waypoint, where you’ll need to commandeer a duergar boat.

During your initial trip to Grymforge, expect to confront hostile duergar. Once you arrive, you’ll find yourself involved in a situation where Nere, a True Soul, is trapped due to a cave-in. You can choose to aid him in attacking the outpost or save several deep gnome slaves, the latter earning you Barcus Wroot’s loyalty and his valuable gloves.

After this encounter, you can use the outpost’s elevator to reach the shadow-cursed lands.

Pro Tip: Grymforge is vast and packed with secrets like the Adamantine Forge and the Sentient Amulet. Take your time exploring before moving on!

Act Two: Another Critical Point of No Return

This stage definitely locks you out of all locations from Act One, including the Mountain Pass and Underdark, once you move past it.

Important Note: This progression also prohibits you from completing or will automatically fail certain side quests, like saving Wulbren and the tieflings. Ensure you accomplish everything you wish to do before passing this threshold.

This moment occurs in the Gauntlet of Shar, located deep beneath the Grand Mausoleum (X:-174, Y:79) in the shadow-cursed lands of Act Two. After completing all trials in Shar’s Gauntlet, you’ll come across a pool of water that teleports you to the Shadowfell, leading you to confront Balthazar and the Nightsong. Entering this portal will represent your second point of no return.

Act Three: The Final Point of No Return

The last point of no return marks the transition from Act Two to Act Three and occurs when you decide to advance to Baldur’s Gate. Progressing here will prevent access to all previous areas, including everything from Act One and Act Two.

To reach this point, journey to the far western area of the shadow-cursed lands in Act Two, situated north of the Moonrise Towers (X:-151, Y:-96) and southwest of the Grand Mausoleum (X:-174, Y:79).

Caution: If you’ve angered Vlaakith during your time at the Githyanki Creche, prepare to fight an Avatar of Vlaakith along your route just before the waypoint.

It’s essential to deal with Ketheric Thorm and the Nightsong before heading to this point, as neglecting this will lead you into battle against the Absolute’s armies.

Boarding the Skiff in the Baldur’s Gate Sewers

The ultimate point of no return occurs when you board the skiff destined to confront the Netherbrain, hidden within Baldur’s Gate’s intricate sewer system. Once you’ve gathered all three Netherstones, you can embark on your final challenge, which will consist of more than just one battle.

Note: You cannot change your party after boarding the skiff.

Taking the skiff will mean leaving Baldur’s Gate behind and abandoning any ongoing quests there. Thus, it’s crucial to wrap up any remaining tasks in the city, as these quests can provide invaluable assistance in your final showdown against either the Absolute’s forces or the formidable Brain itself.
