Amazon Luna.

  • Hokubu Treasure Hunt Guide in Forza Horizon 6

Hokubu Treasure Hunt Guide in Forza Horizon 6

The Forza Horizon 6 Hokubu Treasure Hunt, part of the winter season during the Italian Exotics Festival Playlist, is hidden in a pretty tricky spot on the map. The hint photo offers little guidance. If you’re not familiar with the large hay bale scarecrows scattered around in Forza Horizon 6, finding this treasure might be a real challenge. To make things easier, I’ve provided the exact location of this Treasure Hunt below.

The treasure chest in Hokubu is located on the northwest side of the Shikisai-No-Aka flower fields, roughly in the middle of the area. It’s situated in a parking lot between the highway that circles around the north of the flower fields and a white road that runs through them. Nearby, there’s a small garage, and the treasure chest is placed next to it, overlooking the snow-covered fields. You won’t be able to use fast travel to reach it directly, but you can get close. Once there, crash into the chest to claim a quick payout of 100,000 Credits — a great way to boost your funds in Forza Horizon 6.

Keep in mind, this Treasure Hunt is only available for a limited time as part of the seasonal Festival Playlist activities for winter. You have until 2:30 PM UTC on August 6 to find and destroy it. After that, the season switches to spring, and a new set of challenges, including a Treasure Hunt in Takashiro, will replace it.

  • Tips to Conquer Bamboo in Forza Horizon 6

Tips to Conquer Bamboo in Forza Horizon 6

The Forza Horizon 6 Bamboo Bash challenge is a simple task to complete during the Autumn season of the Horizon Decades Festival Playlist Series. All you need to do is drive through 30 bamboo plants. Luckily, there’s a spot that resembles the real Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, located on the border between Minamino and Ito. This makes completing the challenge quick and easy—usually in less than a minute. Here’s where to go.

The best place to find bamboo in FH6 is at the Arashiyama Run Speed Zone. This is an orange road crossing the boundary between the Minamino and Ito regions. It’s a dirt track that cuts through a bamboo forest, situated roughly east-northeast of Shirakawa-Go, north-northwest of Ito Airfield, and west-northwest of Kitayama Big Daisugi. You can see the location on the map above.

To complete the challenge quickly, use the fast travel feature to reach the road, then drive through the bamboo until you’ve crashed into 30 plants—this should take less than half a minute at this spot. After smashing through 30 bamboo, you’ll instantly earn three Festival Playlist points, which help unlock exclusive cars and a Super Wheelspin. With this spin, you might win a rare vehicle or a large amount of credits.

This challenge is very easy and offers good rewards, so it’s worth doing as soon as possible. Keep in mind, Bamboo Bash is only available during this Autumn season of the Horizon Decades series. You have until 2:30 PM UTC on July 2 to complete it—the challenge will then disappear forever.

And there’s even less time to find the Forza Horizon 6 Temple of Nachi Falls for a summer challenge!

  • Disable Smart Steering in Mario Kart World: A Simple Guide

Disable Smart Steering in Mario Kart World: A Simple Guide

In Mario Kart World, smart steering assists you in staying on the track with gentle adjustments whenever you veer too close to the edge. This feature is mainly designed for players who may find steering and drifting challenging. If you prefer a more relaxed gaming experience, it helps ensure your race runs quite smoothly.

This smart steering option is enabled by default when you first start the game, so you’ll likely want to disable it for the best racing experience. Below, I’ll explain how smart steering works and how to turn it on or off.

What is Mario Kart World Smart Steering?

Smart steering in Mario Kart World is an accessibility feature that provides automatic steering assistance. It kicks in when you’re close to the edge of a track, helping to keep you from going off the course. You can use this feature in all game modes, including online multiplayer, but it’s disabled in single-player Time Trials.

When you’re racing with smart steering enabled, you’ll notice your kart has an antenna that flashes yellow when the feature is actively making corrections to your course.

While the adjustments made by smart steering aren’t flawless — think of it as driving with some safety bumpers rather than complete automation — it does limit your ability to cut corners or take shortcuts. You can still perform drifts and charge jumps even with smart steering on.

How to Disable Smart Steering in Mario Kart World

To turn off smart steering in Mario Kart World, simply press the X button on your Joy-Con at the kart selection screen. This opens the “Settings/Controller” options menu. Smart Steering will be listed at the top, allowing you to easily toggle it off before you exit the menu.

Once you’ve done this, smart steering will remain off for all activities until you decide to turn it back on using the same menu.

Without smart steering, you’ll find it much easier to perform advanced tricks like grinding rails and wall riding in Mario Kart World.

  • Top 10 Forza Horizon 5 Tips We Wish We Knew Earlier

Top 10 Forza Horizon 5 Tips We Wish We Knew Earlier

Sure! Here’s a unique version of the content in American English:

Forza Horizon 5 Tips to Elevate Your Gameplay

Maximize your skills with these tips for Forza Horizon 5 and start earning points at the Horizon Festival. With a mix of racing formats, from high-speed road races to off-road rallies, becoming a versatile driver is key if you aim to join the Hall of Fame at the Mexico Horizon Festival. Mastering the game mechanics and your driving technique will set you on the right track.

Beyond racing, Forza Horizon 5 offers various activities like PR Stunts, Horizon Stories, and Barn Finds, where you can expand your car collection. Whether you’re new to the FH series or a seasoned player, here are ten essential tips to enhance your experience in this thrilling open-world racing game.

Adjust Your Driving Assists for Comfort

As you start Forza Horizon 5, you might find the driving mechanics a bit tricky. This is because the game defaults to a range of driving assists. To make your experience smoother, consider customizing these assists. You can access them through the Campaign menu by pausing the game, clicking on Settings, and navigating to the Difficulty section.

From my experience with several Forza Horizon titles, here are my recommended assist settings for enjoyable driving:

    • Braking: Anti-Lock On
    • Steering: Simulation
    • Traction Control: On
    • Stability Control: Off
    • Shifting: Automatic

    Difficulty and Assists Influence Rewards

Adjusting your assists and difficulty level can impact how your vehicle handles and what rewards you earn. For instance, maintaining the above settings with an Average Drivatar difficulty grants you a 25% increase in Credit (CR) payouts. Turning off Traction Control can boost this to 35%, while switching to manual shifting can raise it to 50%.

Personal preferences like the Driving Line and Damage settings offer an added challenge with no extra rewards. For a more straightforward experience, keep the Driving Line set to Full and Damage set to Cosmetic.

Accolade Points Drive the Horizon Adventure Campaign

Forza Horizon 5 introduces an engaging narrative through the Horizon Adventure campaign, allowing players to decide when and how to tackle various activities. To unlock new chapters in the Horizon Adventure, you need to accumulate Accolade Points. Essentially, these points serve as the main progression path, enabling access to new event series.

You can earn Accolade Points by participating in races and other activities. To check your progress, open the map and glance at the top-right corner of the screen. The Accolades page provides a complete list of challenges, rewards, and bonus items, including cars like the Forza Horizon 5 Revuelto.

    Enjoy Unrestricted Exploration

Despite having a structured campaign, Forza Horizon 5 embraces the essence of a driving playground, granting you the freedom to play at your pace. While the Horizon Adventure may introduce some limitations initially, you’ll quickly unlock a variety of racing series and events.

You can approach the game however you like. You might start with the Horizon Wilds Dirt Racing series, but feel free to switch between different racing types as you progress. All activities can be replayed to complete any missed Accolade challenges.

Use Map Filters to Clear Your View

As you unlock diverse activities in Forza Horizon 5, your map may become cluttered with icons. To simplify navigation, pressing RB/R1 will allow you to toggle map icons on or off, helping you focus on your preferred activities.

Weather and Time of Day Affect Driving Dynamics

Forza Horizon 5 features a dynamic day-night cycle, seasonal weather, and conditions that can significantly alter your driving experience. If you’re new to the series, be aware that colder nights and wet roads may impact your car’s handling. For instance, rainy roads can cause skidding, making it essential to brake early.

Different seasons also change the terrain of the map, introducing conditions that may require specific vehicles. Remember: the fastest cars may not always be the best choice in inclement weather.

    Wheelspins Provide Cars and Credits

The Forza Horizon 5 car roster is vast, offering many expensive options, but Wheelspins are an excellent way to earn cars and Credits for free. Although the cars you receive may not always be top-tier, they help fill out your collection. Earning CR through Wheelspins can also boost your account balance, making it easier to save for high-ticket items.

You can obtain Wheelspins through races and Accolade rewards. Super Wheelspins are even better, providing triple the rewards, though they are rarer than regular Wheelspins.

Utilize Skill Points for Each Car

Each car features a skill tree called Car Mastery. This system enables you to unlock perks that enhance your driving experience and rewards. Skill Points can be earned by executing tricks and stunts. However, crashing can disrupt your Skill Chain, so aim for Ultimate Skill Chains for maximum points.

Don’t forget to spend your Skill Points wisely to unlock various benefits, including XP boosts and more. You can access the Car Mastery tab from the Cars section to apply your Skill Points.

Invest in Houses for Unique Benefits

While houses may seem trivial since you can’t enter them, they provide valuable perks. Purchasing each house yields rewards like Wheelspins and Barn Find rumors, plus you can set your home location for game launches.

Certain houses offer permanent advantages. For example, the Buenas Vistas beach house allows you to fast travel anywhere on the map, while the Casa Bella house plays Skill Songs that double your Skill Chain points. The Hotel Castillo property provides a daily free Wheelspin when you log in.

    Scout Areas with Drone Mode

Make use of Drone Mode to explore the landscape without being confined to your car. This feature, found under the Creative Hub tab in the pause menu, is especially helpful for locating Barn Finds. You can also use it to scout routes for different stunts like Drift Zones and Danger Signs.
