  • Completing the Crimson Cave: Light the Pyre or Solve the Prisoner?

In The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, you’ll interact with various characters to help improve the world of Cyrodiil. However, you also have the option to create chaos and support the schemes of Daedra worshippers across Tamriel. Your true intentions may not be clear until you’re deep into the action.

Specifically, when it comes to the Crimson Cave, it’s evident that you’re tracking a perilous cult. We’ll guide you on how to find the necessary notes and sleeper agent to lead you to the cave and complete your initiation—unless you prefer to dismantle them from the inside.

Where to Find the Burning Trail Notes

Before you reach the Crimson Cave, you’ll undertake the Burning Trail quest. In this quest, you’ll need to follow a hidden trail of notes across Cyrodiil to uncover a secretive Mythic Dawn agent.

You need to find four Mythic Dawn Pamphlets, which are located in the following areas:

Simply read the pamphlets to advance; there’s no need to collect them.

    Note Number

    Location

    Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 1

On a barrel in Talos Plaza, Imperial City.

    Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 2

At the back of a tree, following the gaze of the wolf statue at Hircine’s Shrine.

    Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 3

Near the Molag Bal shrine, oriented towards the sun.

    Mythic Dawn Pamphlet 4

Inside the basin of the Lady Luck statue in Bravil.

Once you’ve collected the notes, head to the Lonely Suitor Lodge and talk to the innkeeper about finding a reserved Dunmer. He’ll direct you to Ranaline, who resides not far from the Lady Luck statue.

Speak with her to receive a set of Mythic Dawn Robes, a Mythic Dawn hood, and directions to the pyre.

If Ranaline seems clueless about your inquiries, try the persuasion minigame to improve her mood. Offering gold as a bribe can also be effective.

    Should You Light the Pyre?

Make your way back to Hircine’s Shrine and head south to Mingo Cave. Ensure you wear the Mythic Dawn attire before entering; otherwise, the cultists will turn hostile and attack you on sight.

Inside, the typical cave structure has been transformed into a Mythic Dawn hideout. You can converse with the cultists if you wish, but aim to delve deeper to find an Imperial Guard locked in a cage, flanked by two cult leaders and a Dremora.

Talk to the Dremora, known as Mehrune’s Harbinger, who will inform you that the privilege of lighting the pyre is yours. You need to interact with the cage to carry out this act and incinerate the guard.

It’s important to note that while you can eliminate the cultists, there’s no actual way to free the guard.

If you opt to slay the cultists, Mehrune’s Harbinger will commend you for bringing down those unworthy of serving the Daedric lord. Alternatively, for those who prefer to maintain a good rapport with the cult, you can choose to simply harm the guard, which might be easier to manage. However, many virtuous heroes from Kvatch might feel compelled to eradicate the cult.

Regardless of your choice, the quest wraps up after talking again with the Dremora. She will grant you a spell called Summon Mehrunes’ Harbinger. This conjuration spell has no cost and can be activated at any time to call her forth.

Once you summon her, speak with her to claim your rewards, which will be plentiful.

How to Get Cataclysm Armor and Weapons

After summoning your new Dremora ally, you can request weapons and armor from the Cataclysm set. These items exceed normal crafting abilities, so you’ll need to converse with her to obtain enhanced sets as you progress. You can ask her for the following items at any time:

Jacob Elordi Stars As WWII Prisoner In New Trailer

In the trailer for The Narrow Road to the Deep North, Jacob Elordi portrays a soldier enduring captivity as a prisoner of war in this forthcoming Australian drama series set to be available on Prime Video.

Elordi steps into the role of Dorrigo Evans, an Australian physician who finds himself a POW during the construction of the Burma Railway in World War II. As the narrative unfolds across different time periods, we see Dorrigo’s life significantly change due to a fervent love affair with his uncle’s wife, Amy Mulvaney (played by Odessa Young). In the present day, an older Dorrigo (Ciarán Hinds) reflects on his experiences as a war hero, grappling with profound sadness and loss.

In the trailer, Dorrigo, portrayed by Hinds, poignantly states, “We all left a part of ourselves in that jungle. Memory is the only true justice.”

The cast of The Narrow Road to the Deep North also features Olivia DeJonge, Heather Mitchell, Thomas Weatherall, Show Kasamatsu, and Simon Baker.

This series is inspired by Richard Flanagan’s 2013 novel of the same name. The show has been adapted for television by Shaun Grant, with direction from Justin Kurzel. • Trosky Prisoner Interrogation Guide – Deliverance 2 Edition

Trosky Prisoner Interrogation Guide – Deliverance 2 Edition

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the outcomes of your missions often hinge on your ability to choose the right dialogue responses. If you fail to persuade non-playable characters (NPCs), you risk missing out on crucial information, which can affect later quests.

In Trosky, Von Bergow will task you with interrogating a prisoner to uncover vital details about the bandits menacing the area. You’ll need to extract four key pieces of information, and your success depends on making the right dialogue choices to get the prisoner to talk.

Correct Dialogue Choices for the Interrogation

Henry and Hans are not keen on torturing the prisoner, as it’s an unpleasant task, but they need the intel he possesses. You will need to strike the right balance between applying pressure and getting the information you need.

Be cautious: if you push the prisoner too hard, you might kill him, but if you don’t apply any pressure at all, you’ll walk away empty-handed.

    1. First, ask him where his crew is hiding.
    2. When he refuses to answer, respond with, “We already know anyway!”
    3. He’ll retort, “You don’t know anything!”
    4. Now, punch him to escalate the situation.
    5. He’ll continue to resist, so hit him harder.
    6. When Capon encourages you, threaten him with a hammer.
    7. He’ll crack a bit and reveal that the nest is in Nebakov, which you suspected.
    8. Next, ask who his leader is.
    9. If he claims not to know, punch him again.
    10. He’ll then confess his leader is named Jan.
    11. Inquire if Istvan Toth is with them.
    12. When he hesitates, use an instrument to increase your intimidation.
    13. He’ll admit that Istvan Toth is part of the crew.
    14. There’s no point in asking about the sword Istvan stole; he doesn’t know.
    15. Now, ask more details about his leader.
    16. If he still refuses, say, “Say it and save yourself.”
    17. He won’t have more information, so don’t torture him further.
    18. Ask if someone in the region is aiding him.
    19. Threaten him with an instrument again.
    20. Try to change the topic, but Hans will intervene and demand the name.
    21. He’ll reluctantly reveal that Olda Semine is providing help.
    22. Question him about why they ambushed you at the pond at the start of the game.
    23. Inform him that you’re not on Von Bergow’s side.
    24. Give him a slap and then apply some torture.
    25. The interrogation will then conclude.

Once you finish the quest, you will have completed the objective, although you may lose some reputation. Still, you’ll have acquired the four crucial pieces of information, ensuring Von Bergow appreciates your efforts.
