  • Choosing the Perfect Path with the Arc Raiders Skill Tree Planner for Completing and Solving

Choosing the Perfect Path with the Arc Raiders Skill Tree Planner for Completing and Solving

To succeed in Arc Raiders, you need a solid inventory of weapons, health supplies, and other essentials. One of the most crucial elements that shapes your gameplay is the Skill Tree.

Understanding where to invest your points can be overwhelming at first. To help you out, I’ve created a sample Skill Tree you can test, along with some recommended perks to consider when building your Raider.

    ### How to Access and Use the Skill Tree Builder

If you want to try out different skill setups without spending your actual points, I suggest using the Skill Tree webpage at arctracker.io. This tool lets you experiment with a fake Skill Tree by clicking with your mouse—left click to add points and right click to remove them. You can reset everything at any time using the reset button on the page.

Keep in mind, you have 80 total Skill Points to use. Seventy-five come from leveling up your Raider, and the remaining five depend on how much money you had at the end of your last expedition. This website simplifies testing how many points you’ll need to reach your favorite perks.

In the game, you can also reset your Skill Tree at any moment, but the cost increases exponentially the higher your level gets. To do so, go to the Skill Tree screen and press R (keyboard), Y (Xbox), or Triangle (PlayStation).

    ### Skill Tree Perk Recommendations

Many players share their favorite builds online, but the best setup depends on what you want to do—whether you prefer solo play, team battles, or focus on PvP or PvE. Instead of offering a full build, I’ll highlight key perks in each major category that are valuable no matter your playstyle. These perks are useful whether you’re aiming to fight other Raiders or team up to take down the ARC.

    #### Conditioning Perks
In the Conditioning branch, perks like Weight and Loaded Arms are excellent because they reduce the weight of your shields and guns. This makes using rare and epic shields less tough and gives you more space in your inventory to carry extra loot.

Proficient Pryer speeds up your breaching ability, which is helpful at all times. Turtle Crawl is great for staying alive when you’re downed—it’s especially useful in duo or trio matches. Unburdened Roll is also handy, allowing you to quickly roll into cover when your shield breaks, even if you’re out of stamina. This quick escape can be the difference between winning or losing a fight.

    #### Mobility Perks
Early in the game, I highly recommend fully upgrading perks like Marathon Runner, Nimble Climber, and Youthful Lungs. These perks boost your stamina pool and make your stamina last longer. Nimble Climber also improves your climbing and vault speed, helping you move faster across the map. Since stamina is vital in Arc Raiders, these perks are a must.

As you progress, perks such as Vigorous Vaulter and Effortless Roll become valuable, especially if you’re focused on hunting other players. They help you move quickly and dodge enemy shots, giving you an advantage in combat.

    #### Survival Perks
One of the most important perks here is In-Round Crafting, which allows you to craft health items during a fight. This is great for quick recovery in raids or when you’ve used up your supplies.

Another useful perk is Broad Shoulders. When maxed out, it increases your carry capacity by 10 kilograms (about 22 pounds). This extra space is especially beneficial for players who prefer PvE or often run solo, as it lets you carry more gear and loot.

Traveling Tinkerer also helps with crafting utility items on the fly, such as Raider Hatch Keys. This perk is useful if you like getting in and out quickly and want to know exactly where to find items like electrical components or sensors needed for the keys.

These suggestions are just a starting point. Feel free to experiment with different perks to find what best suits your playstyle. For new players, the perks I’ve highlighted here are a solid foundation for a versatile and capable Raider, ready to handle both PvE and PvP challenges.

  • Hubble Captures Two Spiral Galaxies: One Perfect, One Odd

Hubble Captures Two Spiral Galaxies: One Perfect, One Odd

Galaxies come in a variety of shapes, and they are categorized accordingly. Elliptical galaxies appear as smooth, featureless blobs of light, while irregular galaxies exhibit bizarre forms due to gravitational interactions with other galaxies. The spiral galaxies, such as our Milky Way, are well-known for their elongated arms that radiate from a central core, creating a remarkable structure.

Recent images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope illustrate the diversity among spiral galaxies. The first image features NGC 3596, which showcases a clean and orderly spiral structure. In contrast, the second image presents galaxy Arp 184 (also referred to as NGC 1961), classified as a peculiar spiral galaxy.

A striking difference between the two galaxies is their appearance from our vantage point on Earth: NGC 3596 is viewed head-on, presenting a uniform shape. Meanwhile, Arp 184 is observed at an angle, revealing its asymmetrical design. This galaxy’s skewed appearance prevents it from fitting perfectly into the spiral classification, leading to its classification as “peculiar” in the whimsical Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies, created by Halton Arp in 1966.

The prominent spiral arm in Arp 184 is broad and noteworthy, yet the opposite side lacks a similarly large arm, highlighting its asymmetry. In contrast, NGC 3596 is characterized by evenly sized spiral arms that glow pink in this image, indicating regions rich in star formation. This raises intriguing questions: why do some galaxies develop spiral arms while others do not, and how do they vary so widely in form? Astronomers are actively exploring these questions, with findings suggesting that the density of stars in specific areas of a galaxy plays a vital role.

According to Hubble scientists, “Spiral arms represent a pattern of varying densities rather than a solid structure. As stars, gas, and dust orbit within a galaxy, they ebb and flow in and out of the spiral arms. Similar to cars navigating a traffic jam, these elements slow down and cluster as they enter a spiral arm before continuing along their galactic journey.”

  • Unlocking the Perfect Swing in PGA Tour 2K25

Unlocking the Perfect Swing in PGA Tour 2K25

PGA Tour 2K25 has the potential to be a very realistic golf simulation. On higher difficulty levels, you’ll face challenges related to elements like wind and terrain, which might not appeal to everyone. Some players prefer a more straightforward experience.

Luckily, 2K has introduced several new features this year that cater to those looking for a more relaxed gameplay style. One such addition is the Perfect Swing mechanic, which allows anyone to enjoy PGA Tour 2K25 without the hassle of managing swing angles or dealing with tough lies. It’s an ideal choice for those wanting to kick back and enjoy the game.

    Understanding Perfect Swing

The Perfect Swing mechanic serves as a new difficulty level in PGA Tour 2K25, designed to simplify the game. It removes most of the typical challenges you would encounter while playing.

When you take a shot, you won’t have to stress about the swing’s accuracy or overextending your swing. Regardless of your swing path and timing, the ball will travel close to your target.

Your main focus will only be on aiming and controlling the distance. Just point in the general direction you want to hit, and your shot should land where you expect. Things may become trickier when it comes to reading greens.

    Activating Perfect Swing

To enable the Perfect Swing difficulty, simply press the Menu or Options button to access the Settings menu.

From there, navigate to the Difficulty section and select the leftmost option, which will be Perfect Swing. This enables the easiest settings for your next round.

You can activate Perfect Swing anytime while playing PGA Tour 2K25, whether you’re in the menus or in the middle of a game.

  • Mastering Perfect Chaos: Sonic X vs. Shadow Generations Tips

Mastering Perfect Chaos: Sonic X vs. Shadow Generations Tips

    Quick Links

Perfect Chaos is the second boss featured in Sonic’s segment of Sonic X Shadow Generations. Originating from Sonic Adventure, Perfect Chaos embodies the essence of the Dreamcast era in Sonic gaming.

In this guide, you’ll find out how to unlock and defeat the Perfect Chaos boss.

How To Unlock The Perfect Chaos Boss Fight

To access the fight with Perfect Chaos, you first need to complete the initial area of Sonic Generations and defeat the first boss. After that, you’ll gain entry to the second area, which consists of three stages drawn from the Dreamcast era of the Sonic series.

You must successfully complete both Act 1 and Act 2 for each of the three stages. Once you’ve done that, a boss gate will appear. To open it, you need to collect three boss keys.

Boss keys can be obtained by successfully finishing a Challenge Act in each stage, which becomes available after the boss gate shows up.

Once you have gathered all three keys, head back to the gate, and it will open up for your battle against Perfect Chaos.

    How To Beat Perfect Chaos

The battle with Perfect Chaos is fairly straightforward and resembles a typical stage. To win, simply navigate through the area and attack when prompted. You will need to hit Perfect Chaos four times to win.

There aren’t specific attack patterns to dodge since Perfect Chaos primarily targets the environment. Your biggest risk comes from the surroundings, so be cautious—miscalculated jumps may lead you into the water below.

During the initial phase of the fight, continue moving forward while avoiding obstacles. Once you reach the end, approach Perfect Chaos head-on. Sonic will climb the creature and deliver an attack once he reaches the top.

In the second phase, continue the same strategy. However, this time you’ll encounter more challenges as the environment is more fragmented. Perfect Chaos will also be actively destroying parts of the stage, so stay alert. Use the springs towards the end to launch yourself into Perfect Chaos, and execute a homing attack to deal damage.

    Tip:

Switching between 2D and 3D platforming may occur, so be prepared to adapt quickly to avoid falling off edges.

In the third segment, run directly toward Perfect Chaos while dodging debris and whirlpools of water obstructing your path. At the end of this area, you’ll need to scale Perfect Chaos once again to land another hit.

The final part is trickier but mainly requires good platforming skills. Jump between floating debris until you reach the right attacking range. Look for spots like springs and grapples that can help you avoid falling if Perfect Chaos destroys the platform you’re on. Once you’re near the end of this segment, land your fourth and final hit to defeat Perfect Chaos.
