Netflix’s highly anticipated Turkish suspense series “Eve Giden Yol” (The Road Home) is expanding its stellar cast as production officially kicks off next month. Reports from Turkish media indicate that four additional prominent actors have joined this ambitious project, which is already being hailed as one of Netflix Türkiye’s top dramas for the upcoming season.
Produced by Ay Yapım and directed by renowned actor and filmmaker Onur Saylak, the series will consist of eight episodes, with filming set to begin on June 2. The script is penned by acclaimed screenwriter Sevgi Yılmaz. Turkish entertainment outlets have often compared the series to the global phenomenon “Lost” due to its enigmatic atmosphere, psychological intensity, and survival narrative.
The story revolves around a catastrophic car accident and the bizarre events that happen afterward. Much of the story is expected to unfold within an abandoned village, creating a dark, secluded backdrop for the unfolding mystery.
A major highlight is its star-studded cast. Aras Bulut İynemli plays Kemal, while Nilperi Şahinkaya portrays his wife, Şebnem. They will depict a married couple whose lives are dramatically altered following the tragic incident.
