    How To Join The Nine Mortal Ways Sect in Where Winds Meet and Complete Its Secrets

    “Where Winds Meet” offers several Sects you can join to unlock new martial arts weapon skills, cosmetics, and other game features. However, these Sects can be secretive and selective with whom they accept as disciples, so you’ll need to find clues on your own.

    The Nine Mortal Ways is one of the more secretive Sects, but it’s also one of the most exciting, especially if you enjoy deception. Here, we’ll explain all the ways to join the Nine Mortal Ways.

    How to Join the Nine Mortal Ways

    Getting into the Nine Mortal Ways is similar to joining the Well of Heaven, with one main difference. Both recruitment processes start in the same way.

    First, go to Harvestfall Village in western Qinghe. Talk to San Qian at the restaurant and pay him 200 coins for a tip. After paying, follow the quest marker to the next objective.

    Next, speak to the Well of Heaven Elder outside the town. Pay him 999 coins to show your appreciation. He will then ask you to steal some valuable jewels from another Sect member.

    Follow the quest marker northeast to Zhang Yihao’s location. Use Celestial Seize to steal a large pile of jewelry from him, then return the bag to the Elder. Once you do, he reveals himself as a Nine Mortal Ways Elder, not connected with the Well of Heaven. You’re now officially a member of the Nine Mortal Ways. If you agree to go along with it, tell him you’re “going with the flow,” and you’ll gain access to the Mortal Rope Dart.

    Alternate Method

    If you’ve already completed this quest and refused entry, there is another way to join.

    You can join the Nine Mortal Ways by giving Icchantika of the Midnight Blades a Rogue Token. When joining the Midnight Blades, select the option “My heart is that of Asura Heart,” and he will give you a Rogue Token. You can present this token at any time to join the Nine Mortal Ways, even if you’ve previously completed the quest and joined the Midnight Blades. Icchantika will always be in the same spot at Halo Peak.

    Other Ways to Get a Rogue Token

    You can also obtain a Rogue Token from Hao Jiu, an honest merchant in Harvestfall Village. You can buy one token daily for about a thousand coins.

    The Rite of the Nine event has refreshed several older dungeons in Destiny 2 with new weapons, quests, and even innovative encounter mechanics. A notable addition from this event is the introduction of new collectibles. As you explore each revamped dungeon, you’ll come across hidden Nine-themed Engrams that grant lore when gathered.

    In total, there are six collectibles to discover, with two located in each dungeon. If you gather all of them, you’ll unlock lore tabs and earn a Triumph related to this event’s Eternal title. Today, we’re going to explain how these new collectibles function and outline their locations within the dungeons.

    Understanding the Rite Of The Nine Collectibles

    The Rite of the Nine has introduced six new collectible Engrams across three dungeons that have been updated this season: Spire of the Watcher, Ghosts of the Deep, and Prophecy. Each dungeon includes two collectibles that become accessible once it’s unlocked for the Rite of the Nine, which currently has a nine-week schedule.

    Here’s the timeline for each dungeon release:

    • Spire of the Watcher: May 8
    • Ghosts of the Deep: May 27
    • Prophecy: June 17

    Once a dungeon is available, you can enter it at any difficulty level to collect the Rite of the Nine items. Gather all nine of these collectibles to earn the Seeker of the Nine Triumph, a prerequisite for achieving the Eternal title.

    Collectible #1: Spire Of The Watcher

    You can find the first collectible in the Spire of the Watcher dungeon during the initial platforming section. While navigating the large chasm inside the tower, before you drop down to the next level, jump to the opposing side and search for an Engram situated above a computer terminal. If you recently defeated a Hydra, you’re in the right spot.

    Descent just before facing the final boss.

    The second collectible in Spire of the Watcher can be located just before the final boss fight. After completing the last switch puzzle during the final platforming segment, before you descend into the boss arena, drop down to the crates on an unlit platform below. Nestled among the crates you’ll find the Nine Engram.
