Murat Yıldırım and Fahriye Evcen are making their on-screen comeback after nearly a decade. The beloved Turkish actors have teamed up for Turquoise Summer, the latest miniseries under the Go Türkiye initiative.
This new series was developed through a collaboration between the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and NTC Medya. As with previous Go Türkiye projects, the series aims to showcase Turkey’s most stunning destinations to a global audience through engaging storytelling.
Turquoise Summer takes viewers along Turkey’s mesmerizing turquoise coast, primarily focusing on the scenic locales of Bodrum and Göcek. Famous for their pristine waters, secluded coves, luxury marinas, and spectacular landscapes, these areas are central to the narrative.
Directed by Semih Bağcı, the series features an impressive cast complementing the two leads. Alongside Fahriye Evcen and Murat Yıldırım, actors Sedef Avcı, Aslıhan Karalar, and Yılmaz Bayraktar also make appearances.
Evcen portrays Su, a woman determined to leave her past behind and steer her life’s course in a new direction. Her journey leads her to meet Toprak, portrayed by Murat Yıldırım. Their fateful encounter sparks a romance set against the breathtaking scenery of Turkey’s iconic turquoise coast.
Supporting characters include Derya (played by Sedef Avcı), Nil (played by Aslıhan Karalar), and Burak (played by Yılmaz Bayraktar). The story’s setting, along with the compelling romance, has generated significant buzz among viewers.
