Bosnian Actress Merjem Šiljak Joins Akın Akınözü in Aşk ve Taht

Digital Phablet – Bosnian actress Merjem Šiljak joins Akın Akınözü in Aşk ve Taht.

Production is gaining momentum on Aşk ve Taht (Love and the Throne), one of Turkey’s most ambitious historical dramas currently in development. Produced by Mehmet Bozdağ for Bozdağ Film, the ATV series has officially entered the next phase with its initial costume script reading. The production has also introduced Bosnian actress Merjem Šiljak as the new Maryam and a leading star opposite Akın Akınözü.

The project has already garnered significant attention in Turkish entertainment circles due to its panoramic historical setting, internationally assembled cast, and a creative team behind some of Turkey’s most successful TV shows.

According to Turkish media sources, the cast recently gathered for a costume rehearsal and script reading—marking their first chance to appear together in period costumes before filming begins.

The series is led by Akın Akınözü, who plays Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat, a prominent ruler of the Anatolian Seljuk State. Opposite him is Bosnian actress Merjem Šiljak, cast as Princess Destina—initially referred to as Maryam during early development—and she joins the main cast alongside Akın Akınözü. Also starring is Simay Barlas as Melike Hatun, another pivotal character.

The story centers on Alaeddin Keykubat’s rise from captivity to the throne, depicting a critical chapter in Anatolian Seljuk history. The narrative promises a rich blend of historical accuracy and emotional storytelling, exploring themes of love, betrayal, political rivalry, palace intrigue, and harem politics—offering a fresh take on a rarely portrayed love story set within the royal court.

During the costume reading event, Akın Akınözü, Merjem Šiljak, and Simay Barlas expressed their excitement about joining the production, optimistic as they prepare for filming.

The cast also features Ayça Bingöl, Cem Bender, Halil İbrahim Ceyhan, Ferit Kaya, Ceren Benderlioğlu, Murat Serezli, Emrah Altıntoprak, İdil Yener, Özgür Emre Yıldırım, Oğulcan Arman Uslu, Ece Yüksel, Bülent Gültekin, Halil İbrahim Temizoğlu, Mücahid Temizel, Merve Polat, Selin Genç, Hakan Eke, Alican Albayrak, Ahmet Kayakesen, Göksel Kayahan, Timur Ölkebaş, Özer Arslan, Erman Saban, Ozan Ayhan, and İlayda Yıldız.

A standout element of this production has been Akınözü’s physical transformation. To accurately portray Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat, he dedicated months to preparation, growing his hair long to reflect the appearance of the 13th-century Seljuk ruler.

Turkish media also reports that Akınözü underwent extensive research on the historical figure and period’s political climate. His costume, hairstyle, and overall look were meticulously designed to embody one of Anatolia’s most renowned sultans.

Behind the scenes, the series is directed by acclaimed filmmakers Yağmur Taylan and Durul Taylan, collectively known as the Taylan Brothers, alongside Cem Toluay. The Taylan Brothers are among Turkey’s most respected directors, renowned for their critically acclaimed and commercially successful dramas.

Additional social media moments from the cast include exchanges about their enthusiasm for the upcoming series, sharing their excitement during costume fittings and script readings, and promoting the project on platforms like Instagram and Twitter.

The screenplay focuses on Alaeddin Keykubat’s journey from imprisonment to royal power, portraying a significant era in Anatolian Seljuk history. Rather than solely highlighting military triumphs or political maneuvers, the series aims to weave historical facts with an emotional narrative that delves into romance, betrayal, dynastic rivalry, palace schemes, and harem politics.

Producers emphasize that Aşk ve Taht will tell a powerful love story rarely depicted on screen, while also exploring the delicate balance between personal affections and political ambition within the royal court.

During the costume reading, lead actors shared their excitement, and the production team expressed confidence in the series’ potential. With its rich historical backdrop, extensive cast, detailed costumes, and skilled director team, Aşk ve Taht is positioned as one of ATV’s most anticipated historical dramas. Expectations continue to grow as filming approaches, aiming to blend Turkish history with epic romance and palace intrigue on a grand scale.

  • How To Learn New Spells in HoMM: The Olden Era of Completing and Solving

How To Learn New Spells in HoMM: The Olden Era of Completing and Solving

Mastering magic in Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era isn’t just about casting spells at random. The game introduces a detailed system where your kingdom’s infrastructure affects your hero’s magical abilities.

From the Observatory system to the use of Alchemical Dust, building a strong mage requires patience and strategy. Whether you’re aiming to keep your mana sustained during long sieges or choosing the spell schools that match your playstyle, understanding these basics is essential for controlling the map. Here’s what you need to know about magic in Olden Era.

Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is in Early Access, so some details may change as development continues.

    How to Learn Spells

Learning spells involves two main steps: using your Kingdom Observatory and your hero’s Spellbook. The Observatory acts as a global ‘library’. When you build Mage Guilds in your towns, random spells are added to the Observatory. Building multiple Mage Guilds in different towns may unlock new spells or upgrade existing ones. You can manually unlock spells here if you have a Mage Guild of the same Tier as the spell.

You can only manually upgrade a spell once. To upgrade further, you must unlock that spell through your Mage Guilds or improve it via equipment or your hero’s skills.

It’s important not to upgrade spells without careful consideration. Upgrades cost Alchemical Dust, which is also needed for many building upgrades. Make sure you’re not caught short before making a crucial upgrade.

Heroes learn spells by visiting towns. When a hero visits, they automatically learn all available spells they qualify for, including those added by Mage Guilds in other settlements. All heroes can learn Tier 1 and Tier 2 spells. To learn higher-tier spells (Tier 3, 4, or 5), heroes need to have the respective skill acquired upon leveling up.

You can also find spells by discovering scrolls or visiting specific map objects. These are unique to each hero and do not add spells to your global Observatory.

    All Spell Schools

Heroes can focus on four main spell schools, each with its own purpose:

    Spell School Speciality
Daylight Buffs: Improving your units’ stats, speed, and survivability. Also includes healing spells.
Nightshade Debuffs: Weakening enemy units and reducing their offensive power.
Primal Damage: Offensive magic, including area blasts.
Arcane Control: Battlefield manipulation, crowd control, and utility spells.

There is also a fifth spell school related to map effects, such as teleportation and flight. These are unlocked using Astrology points in the Observatory and are more map-focused than battle-oriented.

    How to Regain Mana

There are several ways heroes restore mana:

    Method Description
Resting in Town When a hero ends their turn inside a town with a Mage Guild, their mana fully refills the next day.
Passive Regeneration Heroes naturally regain 10% of their maximum mana each day while out in the field.
Wells Found on the map, Wells provide immediate mana refills.

    How to Raise Your Mana

A hero’s maximum mana depends mainly on the Knowledge attribute. Each point of Knowledge adds ten additional mana points to the maximum. Searching for gear that boosts Knowledge or skills that increase your mana reserves can also help.

Since daily regeneration is a percentage of the maximum, having a larger mana pool means you regain more mana each morning, making your magic more sustainable over time.

  • New Dinosaur-Themed D&D Book Offers Completing and Solving Character Options

New Dinosaur-Themed D&D Book Offers Completing and Solving Character Options

Dungeons & Dragons has a talent for turning real-world situations into fantastical adventures. When dinosaurs are added to the mix, it offers a fresh take on prehistoric worlds with a D&D flavor. Dr. Dhrolin’s Dictionary of Dinosaurs includes everything you need, from how to incorporate dinosaurs into your game setting to new character options and high-fantasy rules you can use.

These resources help keep your game bright and imaginative while exploring a prehistoric theme. If you’re curious about what kinds of characters your players can create within this setting, here are all the new options introduced in this dinosaur-inspired adventure.

    New Playable Species

Dr. Dhrolin’s Dictionary of Dinosaurs introduces six new species for players to choose from. Each species has dedicated non-player characters (NPCs) to represent them, and players can create characters based on these species. These dinosaur folk have their own traits and languages, detailing their size, speed, lifespan, and appearance. The species included are:

    • Pluvenn: Derived from various prehistoric raptor species, Pluvenn are agile predators with a lightweight build, large birdlike feet with curled claws, and flowing tail feathers. They vary in size, feathers, and color.

    • The Manyhorn: This species belongs to ceratopsian dinosaurs like Triceratops and forms large groups called guilds. They come in many sizes and appearances, all characterized by multiple horns.

    • Jeholrak: Based on Jeholosaurus, these small herbivores have a beaked snout, three claws, and soft feathers resembling fur. They look like tiny, lush creatures.

    • Ankylier: Similar to Ankylosaurus, these large, armored herbivores have thick scales, muscular limbs, and a formidable presence.

    • Limukin: Inspired by Limusaurus, these slender reptiles go from toothed omnivores to beaked herbivores during their growth. Known as “Mud Lizard,” they inhabit rivers, forests, and jungles.

    • Children Of Seth: Tall with long arms, wings, long pointed beaks, and prominent crests, this species resembles the pterosaur Thalassodromeus. They travel in clans and tribes and possess the ability to fly.

    New Subclasses

The supplement adds three new subclasses, all compatible with the 2024 Player’s Handbook rules:

    • Ranger: Big Game Hunter – Focused on ranged combat and ammunition, this subclass provides special ammo and the ability to eliminate enemies of 100 hit points or less with a single shot at higher levels, trading spellcasting for raw ranged damage.

    • Fighter: Bonesmith – A combat-focused class that can craft tools and armor from slain enemies’ carcasses and even summon a flesh-based construct as a minion. They combine fighting skills with some spellcasting.

    • Druid: Circle of Cycles – These druids can manipulate evolutionary traits with their unique spells, such as granting flight or adjusting damage and health. They can also influence the stars and skies, and even glimpse future events.

    New Backgrounds

Three new backgrounds are included, each suited to a specific prehistoric scenario and equipped with unique gear like loincloths and bone daggers:

    • Time Lost: For characters who have traveled through time and ended up here, whether from the future or the past.

    • Geologist: Designed for exploring rocks and geological formations, allowing players to identify weak points and gain small advantages during exploration.

    • Paleontologist: A researcher of ancient organisms and artifacts, skilled in distinguishing herbivores from carnivores and recognizing dangerous creatures instantly.

    New Feats

The supplement features special feats tailored to the prehistoric environments and encounters. These feats help characters navigate the world, learn about dinosaurs, or even tame them, including options such as:

    • Naturalist: Enhances your ability to study and understand the local fauna and flora.

    • Miner: Useful for examining rocks and minerals, ideal for geologists.

    • Stone Whisperer: Improves skills related to understanding and moving natural stone formations.

    • Behaviorist: Enables insight into animal behaviors and interaction.

    • Crocodile Wrangler: Perfect for handling crocodilian creatures.

    • Volcanologist: Focused on understanding volcanic activity and terrain.

    • Action Hero: Provides combat and survival advantages in extreme situations.

    • Arcane Enchanter: Introduces magic-based abilities suited for a prehistoric magic user.

Each feat provides specific benefits relevant to the encounters and environments you’ll face. For example, some feats help with climbing natural rocks, understanding dinosaurs, or even taming creatures.

    Summary

Dr. Dhrolin’s Dictionary of Dinosaurs broadens your game with new species, subclasses, backgrounds, and feats, all designed to enhance a prehistoric adventure setting. Whether you’re exploring ancient Earth or discovering new dinosaur societies, these options add exciting depth and flavor to your campaign.

Where to Find the New Firefly Arc in Arc Raiders for Completing and Solving

ARC remains a constant threat in the world of Arc Raiders, with robots capable of causing massive destruction. Anyone who ventures into the surface world will eventually have to confront them, as ARC deploys various types of robots that are eager to hunt humans.

From the small, sneaky Tick that uses ambush tactics, to the enormous Matriarch leading a group of smaller ARC units, each robot is armed with dangerous weapons. New models keep appearing unexpectedly, and their origins are a mystery. It’s possible they are learning and evolving to better fight humanity. One of ARC’s newest creations is the Firefly.

How to Destroy Fireflies and Obtain Firefly Burners

Fireflies are flying ARC units that can appear on every map. They are more common at Spaceport and The Blue Gate, making those ideal spots to find Firefly Burners. Usually, they travel alone, but sometimes you might see them flying with Wasps and Hornets. They are different from those bugs because Fireflies have a flatter, longer shape and produce a louder, less whining engine noise.

Grenades work well against Fireflies. Since they tend to stay close to you and don’t move around wildly, tools like Seeker Grenades—which home in on enemies—or Trigger ‘Nades, which you can detonate at the right moment, are effective.

Fireflies tend to stay near you and will follow, attacking with a steady stream of fire that damages both your health and shields. Their fire does damage over time, and your health drains slightly faster when they’re nearby. The fire from their flamethrower leaves you on fire for a few seconds, continuing to cause damage.

    Tips for Fighting Fireflies

Similar to Hornets, aim for the front engines of the Fireflies. Hitting these parts makes it harder for them to stay airborne, forcing them to fall to the ground, which gives you a chance to recover. This tactic also interrupts their flames, making them easier to handle.

Fireflies have more armor and durability than Hornets, so weapons with medium or higher Arc Penetration work best. The Anvil is an excellent choice because it’s easy to get from Tian Wen’s shop and is effective against these enemies.

    Loot and Rewards

When you loot a Firefly, you’re guaranteed to get a Fireball Burner, along with one Simple Gun Part, five Chemicals, and an Arc Powercell. Sometimes, they may also drop Crude Explosives or Explosive Compounds. Firefly Burners are mainly used to craft the Trailblazer grenade, which requires one Synthesized Fuel, two Crude Explosives, and one Firefly Burner. You’ll need access to an Explosives Station Three and the Trailblazer Blueprint to craft it.

    Additional Notes

Fireflies leave a patch of fire on the ground when they explode like a Fireball, so be cautious if they crash onto other enemies or when you’re close to looting.

  • Top Tips for New Romeo Is a Dead Man Players: Completing and Solving Strategies

Top Tips for New Romeo Is a Dead Man Players: Completing and Solving Strategies

“Romeo Is A Dead Man” is a fast-paced, intense action game filled with lots of combat and exploration from the start. It involves switching between guns and swords, managing multiple resources, and exploring both real space and subspace worlds. The game’s visuals are stylish, but there’s more beneath the surface; understanding its core mechanics early on can greatly improve your gameplay experience. Whether you’re battling hordes of enemies or hunting down space-time criminals across the galaxy, these beginner tips will help you start strong.

Get a HealingSpire Bastard and Keep It Equipped
One of the most crucial early steps is to acquire a HealingSpire Bastard and always keep it equipped. Unlike single-use healing items, this device provides a renewable source of health recovery that you can use anytime during or between fights. It’s a reliable safety net, especially during longer battles or when exploring, so don’t hesitate to use it freely. Don’t hold back—use it whenever your health starts to drop.

    Don’t Neglect Food and Drinks
It’s easy to overlook consumables amid the chaos of combat, but food and drinks provide valuable buffs and health regeneration. These items can be conveniently assigned to quick slots for instant use. An early standout is the Mango Lassi, which instantly restores your Blood gauge—crucial for both dealing damage and healing. Make a habit of keeping your quick slots stocked with useful items like this.

    Use the Map Often
Not every area has a map available, but when they do, check it regularly. The maps are surprisingly detailed and help you get a good understanding of the layout before entering. Studying the map can also assist in pinpointing where hidden items and points of interest are located. Taking a moment to review it before moving forward can prevent you from missing loot and help you plan more efficient routes.

Save Bloody Summer for Important Moments
Bloody Summer is one of Romeo’s most powerful tools, but it should be used wisely. It consumes a gauge that builds up during fights, and while it deals huge damage and drains health from enemies, it’s best to think before activating it. Use it to clear out large groups of enemies when overwhelmed, but don’t waste the gauge on weaker foes; save it for critical situations where the healing potential will be most beneficial. Building up multiple charges allows chaining for devastating combos, so patience can pay off.

    Don’t Upgrade Every Weapon
Romeo offers a variety of melee and ranged weapons, and it’s tempting to upgrade all of them as you find resources. However, upgrades are time-consuming and costly. Spreading upgrades across weapons you don’t plan to use can slow you down. Instead, test each weapon to find those that match your play style before investing heavily. Once you find favorites, focus your resources on them to maximize effectiveness.

    Monitor White Barriers
Throughout your exploration, you’ll encounter white barriers in both real space and subspace areas. Breaking a barrier in subspace also destroys its real-space counterpart. These barriers can often be ignored, but they may hide valuable rewards like badges. Keep track of which barriers you’ve broken and revisit the corresponding locations in real space—you never know what loot might be waiting.

Prioritize Key Stats in DeadGear Cannon Ball
DeadGear Cannon Ball mini-game rewards you with permanent stat upgrades, making it one of the best ways to power up. Focus early on the following stats:

    • Regenetizer Carry Limit: Increases the number of healing charges you can hold, making your recovery more reliable.
    • HP: Boosts your health pool for better durability in tough fights.
    • Reload Speed: Speeds up weapon reloading, reducing exposure and vulnerability during combat.
Focusing on these stats early provides a strong foundation for progressing smoothly.

    Choose Weapons Wisely to Upgrade
Given the wide array of weapons, it’s tempting to upgrade all of them equally, but this isn’t practical. Upgrades require resources and time, and spreading them thin across weapons you rarely use can hinder your progress. Instead, experiment with different options to find what suits your style, then focus your upgrades on those. This approach ensures you get the most value from your efforts.

    Track White Barriers Carefully
White barriers appear in various zones, and breaking one in subspace will clear the corresponding barrier in real space. While they might seem unrelated to main goals, they often hide valuable items like badges. After breaking barriers in subspace, revisit those locations in real space through your map, as some hidden treasures can significantly aid your progress.

    Optimize DeadGear Cannon Ball Upgrades
The DeadGear Cannon Ball mini-game offers chances to improve your stats permanently. The best upgrades early on are:

    • Regenetizer Carry Limit: More healing charges equals more survivability.
    • HP: Extra health adds a cushion for mistakes.
    • Reload Speed: Faster reloading prevents dangerous re-exposures.
Prioritizing these stats will give you a solid boost early in the game.

    Farm Resources in Palace Athane
To power up efficiently, head to Palace Athane—the procedurally generated dungeon with four difficulty levels. It’s a straightforward place to farm Sentreys and Emerald Flowsion, essential materials for upgrades. Running the dungeon a few times helps stockpile resources, level up Romeo, and prepare for tougher sections later.

  • How To Get New Equipment in Menace by Completing and Solving

How To Get New Equipment in Menace by Completing and Solving

Menace is a tough game. If you know what you’re doing, it’s manageable, but the early stages of building your team and figuring out your enemies can lead to many losses in both lives and time, as you’ll likely be reloading often.

One thing that can help a lot is finding new equipment, but good gear isn’t easy to find in Menace. That’s where the black market comes into play. Just make sure you have something valuable to trade first.

The Black Market is accessible anytime between missions. Here, you’ll find a wide range of items for trade, including weapons, armor, full vehicles, and mechs. However, it doesn’t use money. Instead, you trade goods of your own to get what you want. Each item has a value, and you need to match or surpass that value to complete a trade.

Every time you finish an operation, the Black Market’s stock updates. It stays the same during missions but refreshes after each full operation, giving you time to gather more items for trade. The available items aren’t always stable either—mech walkers are rare, while smaller vehicles are easier to find. Prices tend to be high, so you’ll have to offer a lot for little in return. It’s best to buy only what you need instead of stocking up on everything.

When it comes to trading, you have two options: your equipment or commodities. Your equipment is worth less than what you paid for it but can be useful if you no longer need it for your squads. Commodities exist solely for trading and include a wide variety of alien items. Sometimes, commodities are given as rewards after completing missions or secondary objectives, so check the mission details before heading out.

Currently, there are only two ways to get new gear: trade for it in the Black Market or randomly receive it after completing missions and operations. Enemy factions often drop gear like weapons and armor at the end of missions, even if you don’t plan to use them. After operations, you usually get to pick one out of three randomly offered items—most often weapons. Since these are random, you can’t plan exactly what you’ll get, making the Black Market your most reliable source for new equipment, especially if you have enough goods to trade.

To hire new squad leaders, you’ll need to buy their dossiers from the Black Market, then hire them from the menu. Each time you purchase a dossier for a specific leader, it becomes more expensive.

For squad members, you can acquire more passively through the Woo component on the Impetus after completing missions. However, if you lose many squad members during a mission, your numbers will remain small. In that case, you’ll need to hire more from the Black Market, but this is costly, and you only get five additional Squaddies at a time. So, it’s best to avoid getting hit and invest in a Med Way on the Impetus to save your downed squad members during rescues.

  • How to Hire New Squad Leaders in Menace: Completing and Solving

How to Hire New Squad Leaders in Menace: Completing and Solving

Menace is centered around making decisions. You choose which factions to support, which missions to undertake, and what upgrades to install on your ship. But the ongoing choices you’ll face revolve around your squad and their leaders.

Squad Leaders are the core of your squads, so it’s important to manage them well. This includes promotions, equipment, and the missions you assign to them.

    What Are Squad Leaders?

At the start of the game, you select up to four squad leaders to form your initial squads. More can be added later, but their roles remain the same. Squad Leaders are unique individuals who influence how their entire squad operates.

There are two types of squad leaders:

    • Pilots: They operate vehicles like troop transports and tanks. They don’t use squaddies, and their gear depends on the vehicle they are driving.
    • Infantry: The most common type, using a squad of squaddies who carry various tools and weapons. They tend to be less individually powerful than pilots.

Squad leaders come with a set of perks that become available when they are promoted. These perks allow for specialization, such as removing the encumbered status from heavy weapons or increasing accuracy with repeated targeting.

    Hiring New Squad Leaders

After the initial four, most new squad leaders are acquired from the game’s Black Market. This store operates through bartering, where you trade items and gear you no longer need for new squad leaders. When hiring, you can choose between pilots and infantry, but you can’t see who will appear in the pool before hiring.

Once hired, a squad leader can go straight into missions. It’s wise to keep some available at all times in case a leader dies or becomes too tired to continue.

    Promotions and Outfitting

Squad leaders can earn up to eight promotions, starting with one. Promotions are earned using Promotion points, gained by completing missions—more difficult missions yield more points. These points are a shared resource that you allocate to your leaders as you see fit.

Before hiring, you can preview all potential perks available at each promotion. Promotions are organized into four tiers; as leaders reach higher tiers, promotions become more costly, indicated by a promotion tax. Some leaders, like those with the eager trait, can get upgrades at a lower cost, which is very helpful.

Promoting a squad leader repeatedly allows for customizing their role. If you decide a leader’s perks aren’t right, you can demote them to regain some Promotion points and re-promote them with different perks.

    Outfitting Squad Leaders

Gear management is crucial. Squad leaders determine what equipment their squads have, making it essential to equip them properly. Pilots don’t have squads but are assigned to vehicles; their gear focuses mainly on their vehicle’s weapons and accessories.

For infantry leaders, you need to assign a primary weapon and can also equip a special weapon. Accessories like extra ammo pouches, backup pistols, or grenades can also be added. The equipment cost depends on the number of squad members, as more squaddies mean more health and damage but also higher supply costs.

For vehicle pilots, the process is similar, though available slots and equipment types depend on the vehicle.

    What Are Squaddies?

Squaddies are the individual troops in your squads. When creating a squad, you select the number of squaddies—minimum of two, maximum of eight. These are not just generic units; each squaddy is a unique, persistent character. If a squaddy dies, they’re permanently lost unless saved by a Med Bay.

You can see your total squaddies on the resources screen between missions. Recruitment is slow—built up over time with Impetus components—or faster through the Black Market. Keeping your squaddies alive and healthy is important, so be cautious about how many you bring on missions. If your numbers drop too low, consider reducing squad sizes or being more selective to avoid costly losses.

    • Mabaran Aasimar: Embraces shadows and despair, removing some light-based traits and incorporating shadowy features and necrotic damage effects.

    Dhakaani Variations
Exploring Eberron includes three Dhakaani variants: Ghaal’dar (Hobgoblins), Golin’dar (Goblins), and Guul’dar (Bugbears). Previously, these species weren’t compatible with the 2024 ruleset, but now they are.

    • They all have Darkvision and are humanoids, but differ slightly in size and speed. Their unique traits include:
      • Hobgoblins: Advantage on saving throws against charm, bonus to tests failed when allies are nearby, proficiency in two skills like Athletics or Intimidation.
      • Bugbears: Advantage against Frightened, increased melee reach, advantage on ending Grappled conditions, and enhanced size for carrying capacity.
      • Goblins: Advantage against charm, superior Stealth in larger creatures’ shadows, and nimbleness to move through larger creatures’ spaces.

    Gnoll
Once under demon dominance, Gnolls in Eberron have been freed but retain their hunting instincts. They are loyal and aggressive, with traits such as:

    • Bite: Uses teeth as natural weapons dealing 1d6 + Strength modifier piercing damage.
    • Hunter’s Senses: Proficiency in Perception, Stealth, and Survival skills.
    • Rampage: After attacking with Bite or reducing an enemy to zero hit points, can bonus action to move and attack again.

    Jhorgun’taal (Half-Orc)
Representing a harmonious bond between humans and orcs, these half-orcs feature:

    • Regular size and darkvision.
    • Traits like Relentless Endurance and Versatile, which allows selecting an Origin feat.

    Kalamer Landwalker (Merfolk)
Elemental and amphibious, Merfolk can walk on land by transforming their tails into legs with a shapeshifting action. They also have:

    • Personal Symbiont: Uses it as a supernatural cantrip.
    • Symbiont Mastery: Attune to an additional magical item and ignore curses or similar effects.
    • Unnatural Resilience: Resistance to poison and advantage on related saving throws.

    Sahuagin
Sea predators with leathery skin, webbed hands, and sharp teeth, Sahuagin are not inherently evil but are fierce hunters. Their traits include:

    • Blood Frenzy: Enter a frenzy that grants advantage on attack rolls against creatures not at full health.
    • Natural Armor: AC of 12 + Dexterity modifier without armor, with shield usage allowed.
    • Limited Amphibiousness: Breathe air and water but must be submerged at least once every four hours to avoid suffocation.
  • Top Strategies for Completing Every New Material in Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven

Top Strategies for Completing Every New Material in Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven

In Cult of the Lamb: Woolhaven, you’ll have plenty to do, from fighting tough bosses to rebuilding Woolhaven and surviving winter. A lot of your progress depends on several new resources introduced in this expansion.

These resources are used not only to construct new buildings but also help keep your followers warm and serve as a new currency. You can spend them in Woolhaven to unlock decorations or legendary weapons. Here’s what you need to know about how to gather these key resources in Woolhaven.

    ### Every New Resource in Woolhaven

    —

    #### How to Get Rotburn
Rotburn is the most important resource in this expansion, as it keeps your followers warm during winter. You can earn Rotburn through various methods:
    – Opening dungeon chests
    – Destroying Rotburn crystals in dungeons
    – Crafting it at the Refiner
    – Mining Rotburn from specific mines
    – Defeating enemies while the Lost Bones tarot card is active
    – Dead Rotten Followers
    – Beating a boss

The most reliable way to get Rotburn is by collecting it from Rotburn Mines or harvesting it from specific nodes like flaming skulls during dungeon runs. Since it’s essential for survival, always pick up Rotburn whenever possible, as you’ll need plenty of it throughout the expansion.

    —

    #### How to Get Wool
Wool is the main currency for this update. It’s used to craft clothing, buy items in Woolhaven, and offer to the graves of the town’s deceased. You’ll find yourself needing a lot of Wool, as Spirit inhabitants often require 100 Wool just for a reward. You can gather Wool by:
    – Shearing your livestock in the Ranch
    – Opening dungeon chests
    – Destroying frozen ancestors in dungeons
    – Using the Shearing Blade tarot card
    – Ascending prime animals

Shearing livestock is the primary way to get Wool. Building a large Ranch allows you to raise many animals, which increases Wool production. You can also breed animals using a Hutch to save Wool spent on Baraq. Upgrading your Ranch when possible is beneficial, and assigning followers to shear the animals will boost your output.

    —

    #### How to Get Charged Shards
Charged Shards are mostly used for crafting decorations, Pure Yewbark, or heaters to block snow buildup in your base. Usually, you’ll earn them during dungeon runs until you unlock Lightning Rods later in the expansion. You can obtain Charged Shards by:
    – Finding them in dungeon chests
    – Destroying generators during dungeon excursions
    – Using Lightning Rods to passively generate Shards during storms
    – Defeating bosses

Once Lightning Rods are available, place several around your base to passively generate Charged Shards during snowstorms. Collect these from the chests at each lightning rod, ensuring you have a steady supply to prevent snow buildup and make heaters unnecessary.

    —

    #### How to Get Rotgrit
Rotgrit is a less useful material, only accessible once your Furnace reaches level 3. After upgrading, a chest in front of the Furnace produces Rotgrit as it consumes fuel. Its only purpose is to be converted into Rotburn in the Refiner. Since you’ll likely have enough Rotburn from other sources, Rotgrit isn’t required for much and can usually be ignored.

    —

    #### How to Get Cursed and Pure Yewbark
Cursed Yewbark and Pure Yewbark are two sides of the same material. Cursed Yewbark can be found in dungeon chests or by killing enemies inside dungeons. However, farming for this material depends heavily on luck, and it appears only during mountain runs. You’ll get it fairly often in The Rot, so playing through the campaign should yield enough for your needs.

Pure Yewbark is crafted at your base using the Refiner, costing two Cursed Yewbark and two Charged Shards. Since it’s necessary for rebuilding Woolhaven, craft as much of it as you can to unlock all new features and quest boards quickly.
