Digital Phablet – Renowned star Nassif Zeytoun and his wife, actress Daniella Rahme, announced that they are expecting a boy. Daniella is almost due, and this exciting news has captivated their fans.
During his appearance on the “I Have a Question” podcast hosted by Lebanese journalist Mohammad Qais, Nassif shared his feelings about the baby’s gender before it was confirmed. He revealed that Daniella had hoped for a girl, but he jokingly mentioned, “It’s Elias.” He admitted to feeling concerned because Daniella wanted a girl.
He explained, “My mom kept telling me not to worry about whether it’s a boy or girl and to pray for the baby’s health.” Despite this, Nassif expressed a strong preference for a son, saying, “I really wanted a boy. Some might see this as a small or trivial matter, but I’m being honest. I want to be called Abu Elias (Father of Elias) and honor my father’s name.”
In recounting how he met Daniella Rahme, Nassif described their first encounter during the interview. He said without hesitation, “I had a concert on Valentine’s Day, and she came to watch. Afterward, she came back to say hello and take a picture with me. When she entered, the first thought that crossed my mind was ‘Wow!’ The viral picture you may have seen is considered one of the most unflattering photos of a woman, but she shared it on social media herself.”
He candidly expressed his initial dislike for that photo, saying, “I hate that picture and the person who posted it.” He then shared how they met on a more personal level, stating, “After that, I went on stage to sing. I was performing ‘Baddi Ayaha’ (‘I Want Her’), and at one point, I caught her gaze, like artists do. She was looking at me too, and from there, everything progressed.”
