Unlocking Every MiSide Ending: A Complete Guide

The world of indie gaming has raised the bar by introducing multiple endings, giving players more freedom in their choices. The new horror game, MiSide, which has quickly gained popularity, follows this trend with various endings for players to explore.

Each ending offers a distinctly different outcome, often requiring players to replay certain levels to alter their previous decisions. Here’s a guide on how to unlock all endings and what each one entails.

    Warning: Major Spoilers for MiSide!

    First Ending: Bad (Original)

The game’s first ending, known as the ‘Bad’ ending, is achieved by declining Mita’s invitation to stay during the chapter ‘Things Get Weird.’ After making this choice, simply complete the game to unlock the ‘Bad’ ending, which also grants you the ‘Is This The End?’ achievement.

    The Outcome (Spoilers)

If you refuse Mita’s offer to remain in her virtual world, she becomes hostile and relentlessly pursues you throughout the game. Although Kind Mita tries to assist you, she ultimately faced with Crazy Mita, meets her demise. Before finishing the Reboot process in the final chapter, Crazy Mita will sabotage everything and trap you within one of the game cartridges.

    Second Ending: Safe

The safe with the player cartridge to change the ending in MiSide.

To unlock this ending, you must first complete the game to obtain the code needed for the basement safe. Again, you have to turn down Mita’s offer in the chapter ‘Things Get Weird.’ When you reach the ‘Reboot’ chapter, unlock the safe with the code ‘4970’ found in the basement instead of going upstairs with Kind Mita.

Completing this ending grants you the ‘Safe of Life’ achievement.

    The Outcome (Spoilers)

The ‘Safe’ ending closely mirrors the ‘Bad’ ending until the final moments, where you will find an additional player cartridge in the safe. When the protagonist retrieves it, you’ll be taken back to the main menu.

    Third Ending: Stay

The decision process of either staying with Mita or leaving the game in MiSide.

The third and final ending, often referred to as the ‘Stay’ ending, is unlocked by completing certain tasks as you follow Mita’s instructions before ultimately choosing to ‘Stay’ during the ‘Things Get Weird’ chapter.

You can always replay different chapters to save time.

    How To Get The Ending

In the first chapter, ‘I’m Inside a Game?’, don’t look in the oven as Mita instructs.

In ‘I’m Inside a Game?’ while in the kitchen with Mita, pick up all the magnets that fall from the refrigerator.

In ‘Together At Last,’ don’t look at the tapes inside the vent.

In ‘Together At Last,’ taste the sauce that Mita has prepared.

In ‘Things Get Weird,’ play a video game with Mita.

This ending rewards you with the ‘Conditions Met’ achievement.

    The Outcome (Spoilers)

As expected from its title, this ending shows the protagonist choosing to live with Mita in the virtual realm instead of exiting the game. This ending also grants the ‘Peaceful Mode’ option in the main menu, transforming the game into a romantic date simulator with Mita.

Unlock Every Costume in MiSide: A Complete Guide

MiSide is an indie psychological horror game that draws inspiration from the unconventional classic, Yandere Simulator, while flipping the concept on its head. The game is relatively short and includes a manageable list of tasks for completionists that can be finished quickly.

As you navigate daily life with Mita, you’ll uncover many of her secrets, including some that may not be intended for you to discover. Exploring your surroundings can also lead to some additional content. Among the extras, there are three costumes for Mita that enhance the gameplay experience.

    School Costume

The School Uniform is the first costume available in MiSide and can be found early in the game.

Once Mita draws you into the simulator and the ‘Together At Last’ chapter kicks off, you’ll discover this outfit located next to the wardrobe in the bedroom where you first meet Mita.

    Christmas Costume

In this game, you either win or lose. To acquire Mita’s Christmas Outfit, you need to defeat her in both console mini-games during chapter three, titled ‘Things Get Weird,’ after experiencing the first loading screen glitch when she takes you to the TV lounge.

    Vampire Costume

The Vampire Outfit is the final costume you’ll unlock. To get it, you must complete the sequential pumpkin puzzle in the chapter ‘She Just Wants To Sleep. To solve this puzzle, hit the pumpkins in the correct order.

The puzzle will reset if you press the pumpkins in the wrong order, and restarting the game will change the sequence you need to follow.
