How to Beat the Mass Production Array Boss in Pragmata by Completing and Solving

Fighting the Creator in Pragmata happens at the very end of the Mass Production Array Sector. To reach this boss, you first need to unlock a large gate by finding and activating nodes scattered throughout the area. The Creator is a formidable opponent, so it’s wise to return to the Shelter beforehand to restock health, weapons, and upgrade your gear.

The Creator is the second major boss in the game and is much bigger than the SectorGuard, towering over the entire arena. They have a wide range of moves, so you’ll need both hacking skills and shooting accuracy to succeed. Most of the damage you’ll deal will target their face, which is their main weak spot when exposed. Look for openings on their underside—using the Freeze Hacking Node can help make these shots easier to hit.

The boss uses several common attacks. One is a large hand swipe that hits wide. Dodging into the swipe gives you a chance to avoid damage and make use of their brief invulnerability. They also rush across the arena frequently; avoid touching their limbs to dodge these charges easily. Additionally, they fire a laser while standing still or while dashing. During the laser attack, dodge into it to avoid it, and stay on the sides when it’s fired from the dashing motion to stay safe.

As the fight progresses, the Creator will start blocking your hacking attempts. To continue hacking, you’ll need to destroy glowing sections on their limbs, which appear around joints and on the head. When their health gets low, these glowing spots can also appear on their back.

Later in the battle, two new moves are introduced. First, the boss unleashes a wave of Lunafilament stretching from the back of the arena to the start. To avoid it, dash to the opposite side when you see the move preparing. The second move is the boss’s most powerful attack, which can leave you at 1 HP if it hits. This attack takes a long time to charge and is preceded by a red glow across the arena. To dodge it, climb up the Lunafilament pillars, which appear during the charge. Standing on these pillars also makes it easier to target the hacking jammers on top of the boss.

The core of the fight involves depleting their health. Once that’s done, you’ll enter a hacking mini-game where you must carefully navigate through a sequence to reach the Open node. There’s a time limit, and failing means death. After defeating the Creator, the Shelter receives upgrades, and you’re ready to move on to the next sector.

On Monday, the Trump administration urged the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene and lift a court ruling that halted widespread layoffs and the restructuring of government agencies. This move is part of President Trump’s initiative to downsize and reorganize the federal government, according to Reuters.

The appeal from the Justice Department came after U.S. District Judge Susan Illston of San Francisco issued a ruling on May 22, siding with a coalition of unions, non-profit organizations, and local governments that challenged the planned cuts.

The dispute touches on several federal departments, including Agriculture, Commerce, Health and Human Services, State, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs.

The Justice Department stated in its filing that managing the workforce of federal agencies is a fundamental aspect of the presidency’s authority. “The Constitution does not create a presumption against the president exercising control over agency personnel, nor does he require special approval from Congress to utilize core Article II powers,” the filing noted, referencing the section of the Constitution that outlines presidential authority.

The Supreme Court has requested a response from the plaintiffs involved in the case by June 9.

In February, Trump instructed federal agencies to quickly prepare for significant layoffs as part of his restructuring efforts.

In her ruling, Judge Illston asserted that Trump exceeded his executive powers in ordering these reductions. “Historically, the president can broadly reorganize federal agencies only if Congress authorizes it,” she wrote.

Initially, on May 9, Illston restricted approximately 20 agencies from implementing large-scale layoffs for two weeks, and she ordered that employees who had been laid off be reinstated. Most of this relief was maintained in her subsequent ruling on May 22.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals also rejected the Trump administration’s request to pause Illston’s decision in a 2-1 vote on May 30.

The 9th Circuit indicated that the administration failed to demonstrate that it would face irreparable harm if the judge’s order remained in effect and noted that the plaintiffs were likely to succeed in their legal challenge.

“The executive order in question significantly surpasses the president’s supervisory powers under the Constitution,” the 9th Circuit noted, describing the administration’s actions as “an unprecedented attempt to restructure the federal government and its operations.”

Since returning to office in January, Trump’s administration has sought relief from the Supreme Court in a growing number of cases following lower court decisions that have obstructed various policies.

VATICAN CITY: With the passing of Pope Francis, the world’s cardinals will convene in Rome to select his successor. But what does the role of a pope truly entail?

Here’s a summary of the primary duties and responsibilities of the pope, who serves as the leader of the global Catholic Church.

    Spiritual Leader

The term “pope” originates from the Greek word “pappas,” translating to “father” or “patriarch,” which is why he is affectionately known as the Holy Father by believers.

He is recognized as the successor of St. Peter, who, as per Christian belief, was entrusted by Jesus Christ with leading the Church.

This makes the pope a spiritual beacon for approximately 1.4 billion Catholics worldwide.

His responsibilities include preserving, interpreting, and imparting the Christian faith while fostering the unity of the Catholic Church.

    Head of State

Additionally, the pope acts as the head of state of Vatican City, the smallest independent state in the world, measuring just 44 hectares and situated within Rome.

He wields complete authority in various domains, from employment decisions to managing the Vatican’s extensive properties, though he often delegates responsibilities to senior clergy members.

The pope maintains his own diplomatic corps and regularly meets with world leaders at the Vatican during private audiences.

    Moral Authority

The pope’s influence extends beyond Catholic communities, positioning him as a leading moral voice internationally.

Many leaders from different faiths seek meetings at the Vatican, and his statements often carry more weight than those of numerous elected officials.

The Vatican holds non-member observer status at the United Nations and frequently mediates in conflict zones.

    Teaching and Doctrine

Pope Francis has provided guidance on various aspects of life through his homilies and written works, addressing everything from everyday behaviors—such as discouraging gossip—to significant doctrinal matters.

He has released several encyclicals, which are open letters to the global Church, covering topics like social friendship and climate change.

Other important documents include apostolic exhortations—teaching statements—and motu proprio, which signify legal amendments initiated by the pope.

During his papacy, Francis supported the blessing of same-sex couples, limited the traditional Latin Mass, and implemented measures to prevent child abuse within the clergy.

    Bishop of Rome

As the Bishop of Rome, the pope oversees the administration of his diocese, although this responsibility is generally delegated to a Vicar General due to time constraints.

However, the pope actively participates in local events, frequently visiting various churches in Rome for celebrations or significant observances.

    Global Engagement

The pope travels extensively to connect with Catholic communities around the globe.

John Paul II holds the record for the most apostolic trips, completing 104 visits over 26 years, while Francis has made 47 trips, often focusing on marginalized groups and pivotal issues such as migration and inter-faith dialogue.

    Appointments

The pope is instrumental in appointing bishops, responsible for the approximately 3,000 clergy across Catholic dioceses worldwide, as well as cardinals.

Cardinals, sometimes referred to as the “princes of the Church,” are the highest-ranking clergy, and those under 80 years old are eligible to vote in the papal election.

The pope also has the authority to declare individuals as “blessed” or “saint,” following investigations into their miracles and virtues.

He can convene Synods—global meetings that Francis opened to laypeople for the first time—to discuss specific topics.
