  • Completing the Task: Solving Nora’s Bar Dilemma in Lost Records

In Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, you reconnect with your childhood friends many years after leaving your small hometown. A mysterious package arrives, stirring up memories from the past. Like a time capsule, you’ll need to reflect on the events of that pivotal summer in 1995 to uncover the reason behind this unexpected delivery.

However, not everyone shares in the excitement of this discovery. While Autumn is eager to delve into the past, Nora struggles to confront her memories. As Swann, your challenge is to encourage Nora to stay until the night concludes.

    Setting Up Gus and Pam

After revisiting your shared history, you’ll have a short conversation with Autumn. When she asks how you’re feeling, respond with ‘This has felt better than expected’ to earn some friendship points with her, right before she suggests you check on Nora outside.

Before heading out to find Nora, you have the chance to chat with Pam and Gus at the bar. Start by greeting them with ‘Hi there!’ and inquire if you missed anything interesting.

Pam is trying to persuade Gus to join her on a trip to a haunted cabin, inspired by a book they enjoyed together years ago. You have two options to help spark a romantic connection between them:

    • Sounds like a date!
    • A literary getaway! Very romantic.

Choose one of these to help Gus realize Pam is inviting him out. He’ll be taken aback, and they’ll wonder if you’d prefer to head home or linger in town. Respond as you wish, and Pam will express her gratitude for your matchmaking efforts.

After your chat, you can exit the bar through the back door to track down Nora.

Convincing Nora to Stay at the Bar

Nora stepped out for a smoke and hasn’t returned. Follow her outside to check in. It’s been an emotionally charged evening, and it’s no wonder she’s feeling a bit overwhelmed.

If you checked her phone earlier, you might have noticed a message from her wife indicating that things at home aren’t as perfect as they seem.

When you find her outside, sit down across from her at the table. It’s important to listen and help her find some resolution. Here are your conversation options:

    Choice

    Outcome

    No thanks. I don’t smoke.

    Nora’s Garage

Start with lighter topics like her new piercing before diving into deeper conversations. You can even try on some clothes she brought from LA while you chat. Here are your dialogue choices:

This moment is perfect for deepening your relationship with Nora if you’re interested in pursuing her during this summer of 1995. Focus on lighter themes and avoid the heavier feelings she’s reluctant to explore. Following this conversation, you’ll transition smoothly into the next scene.

  • Completing All Prison Break Collectibles in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Nothing beats a summer getaway with friends, and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage captures that thrill perfectly. Set in 1995, this game takes you on a nostalgic journey through the quiet town of Velvet Cove. You’ll follow Swann Holloway along with her friends Autumn, Nora, and Kat as they stumble upon secrets that will alter their lives forever.

As Swann strives to make this the best summer yet, she documents every moment with her camcorder. In Tape 2, you’ll have the chance to pull off a heist and capture the whole event for the future. Here’s how you can create the Prison Break memoir for Swann’s Velvet Cove documentary!

When you team up with Nora to sneak into the ranch and rescue Kat from her tower, keep your camera ready to film the heist. Collecting footage from that night is essential for the memoir, so stay alert to not miss any key moments.

Keep in mind not all items can be collected right away; you’ll need to navigate stealthily around the Mikaelsen house to dodge the watchful eyes of Dylan and Corey. However, if you’re patient, it’s possible to gather everything in one run.

You’ll need five shots of different subjects to complete the memoir.

Here’s where to find the footage and how to get it:

    Chapter

    Subject

    Location

    Tape 2, Chapter 8

    The Gift Shop

Film the gift shop located behind the giant deer statue down the street.

    Tape 2, Chapter 8

    Gate

Record the gate next to the gift shop that leads down a pathway.

    Tape 2, Chapter 8

    Barn

Film the barn at the end of the street, away from the gift shop.

    Tape 2, Chapter 8

    Tree House

Look for it in the trees above the front yard.

    Tape 2, Chapter 8

    Farm Sign

Find it in the front yard next to the gate with a code.

If you miss any collectibles, you can go back and replay the scene later to find them all!

  • Completing All Collectibles in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

In Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, you will join Swann, Autumn, Nora, and Kat as they embrace the summer of 1995. They’ll engage in everything from expressing themselves through punk rock music to digging up mysteries in Velvet Cove, creating a season filled with excitement and discovery. But as you dive into their world, be prepared for unexpected twists and challenges.

The cabin you discover tucked away in the woods will serve as your central hub, where you’ll film various moments for your documentary. With our help, you’ll capture the essence of the summer of ’95 through amazing shots.

In Chapter Five of Tape Two, you’ll return to the hideout alone to gather your belongings. This poignant chapter reflects on the best moments of your summer, and Swann is determined to document it on film. The once-vibrant cabin now stands as a hollow reminder of the band’s struggles.

You’ll be able to shoot footage both inside and outside the cabin, but to complete your memoir, you’ll need a minimum of five unique video clips. Gathering extra footage will give you the flexibility to edit and reconfigure your scenes later on.

Filming doesn’t stop until you secure all the needed shots and select the option ‘Wrap it up.’

Here are several specific shots you can capture and where to find them in the woods:

    Chapter Subject Location
Tape 2, Chapter 5 Beach Go toward the lake, then capture the camp.
Tape 2, Chapter 5 Flowers of the Abyss Follow the path to the Abyss and shoot the bright blooms blocking the way.
Tape 2, Chapter 5 Ruined Boat Venture down to the lake past the Abyssal flowers.
Tape 2, Chapter 5 Hideout Take an exterior shot of the cabin.
Tape 2, Chapter 5 S-N-A-K Carving Upon entering the woods, take a right to find a heart carved into a tree.
Tape 2, Chapter 5 Knife Game Remnants Inside the cabin, near the window table.
Tape 2, Chapter 5 The Reading Corner In front of the fireplace, film the items left behind.

If you happen to overlook any of these collectibles, don’t worry! You can always replay a scene to collect them later.

  • Completing All Moth Girl Collectibles in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

In Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, you’ll embark on a journey to capture the essence of Velvet Cove through your documentary film. From its vibrant plants to the eclectic locals, you’ll have endless inspiration for your storytelling.

A key character in this adventure is Moth Girl, a cryptid that holds a special place in Swann’s heart. Documenting the various places where she can hide her cherished figure is essential to Swann. Although finding these locations is optional and can easily be overlooked, we’re here to guide you to every spot for some cinematic magic. Let’s dive into the Moth Girl Chronicles!

You can start your quest for Moth Girl in late Tape 1. As Swann prepares to move to Vancouver, she picks up her figure and sets it on the window sill, giving you your first chance to film.

To fully complete the memoir, you’ll need to discover five additional locations around Velvet Cove where you can film Moth Girl. These locations are rare, but you can find all of them listed below:

Make sure to capture six unique clips of Moth Girl, and you can rearrange them using your camcorder.

  • Completing Pam’s Location in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

In Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, the tranquil town of Velvet Cove is anything but quiet. While 1995 is turning out to be quite a year, it pales in comparison to the supernatural journey that Swann and her friends embark on that summer. Meanwhile, life carries on for everyone else.

Among the locals is Pam, a regular at the Blue Spruce bar. By the time 1995 rolls around, you’ll recognize her perceptive eyes and distinctive northern accent. After the concert, she finds herself in a bit of a bind and could use your assistance in locating something. Here’s how to help her out!

Where to Find the Book “The Night’s Dark Kiss”

Once you reach chapter four in Tape 2, your task is to tidy up the Blue Spruce the morning after the concert. In the midst of the cleanup, you’ll spot a woman seated on a parked car, engrossed in a book. As you approach, she will try to catch your attention.

Talking to her will lead to a discussion about the events from the previous night. She’ll inquire about Kat and mention to Swann that she’s on their side. The key point is her request: help her find her missing book.

While it technically belongs to Gus, Pam borrowed it from him.

The book you’re searching for is a thick novel titled ‘The Night’s Dark Kiss’, lost in the parking lot chaos following the concert. You’ll comb through the area, but fortunately, we can streamline your search.

Your best bet is to check the dumpsters at the back of the lot, where you’ll find the book next to a discarded soundboard. Grab it and return it to her at the car. She’ll express her gratitude for your help. Although it may seem like a small favor, it’s significant in its own way.

What Happens When You Find Pam’s Book?

Once you return Pam’s book, you’ll notice it on the counter during your next encounter with her in present day. It will provide insight into Pam and Gus’s relationship and how they’ve managed to stay connected over the years.

Furthermore, you can assist Pam in asking Gus out on a date, although he may not fully grasp her intentions. While it’s a subtle moment, bringing them together provides a sense of resolution and a fresh start in Velvet Cove.

  • Guide to Finishing Echoes of Summer in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Guide to Finishing Echoes of Summer in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

In Chapter 16 of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, the girls are experiencing some of their happiest moments. "Echoes of Summer" captures the genuine joy of Swann and her friends as they clean and personalize their cabin, turning it into a cherished retreat.

However, just as summer days are brief, this chapter also passes quickly. As always, you have many opportunities to interact with the girls, deepening your friendships or perhaps even sparking something more.

    A Walk By The Lake

The girls decide to take a break from the cabin and unwind by the water’s edge. As usual, you have the option to film their Spotlight Memoirs if you’re still catching up on these tasks. Regardless of whether you film or not, take a moment to bond with them and initiate some interactions.

Kat is busy digging for animal bones near the radio. You can approach her and choose "Cool, I’ll film it!" but keep in mind that this footage won’t count for any Memoir. If you pause for a moment, Nora will comment on the private beach feel. Initially, you have just one response option, but an additional one will appear if you wait a bit longer. Here’s a quick rundown of the choices:

    Choice Outcome
"Do you guys have a favorite Great Lakes fish?" Neutral
"These lakes hold a world record, you know?" Neutral

Autumn will suggest that you record the scenic view of the island before you. Doing so earns you an entry for the Scenic Views Memoir. Following that, Nora will request that you turn on the radio, which progresses the story.

    Memories of Summer

Before tuning into the radio, you can capture footage of a Great Blue Heron and a Mallard for the Birds Memoir. Keep an eye on the Mallard, as it may swim away quickly. If you head back to the cabin, you can also collect footage for the Woodland Ruins Memoir by filming the cabin, the deer-shaped weather vane, and the firepit next to Autumn.

Here’s a tip: there are older Memoir pieces available again, like ones for Hunting and Critters and some previous bird sightings. If you missed them earlier, now’s your chance to grab them.

Feel free to interact with the bush next to Autumn for a little extra dialogue. When you’re ready, turn up the radio and prepare to make some lasting memories.

    Back to the Cabin

Once you’ve wrapped up your adventure, the girls return to the cabin and decide to name it. This name will stick with you for the rest of the game, so think carefully about whether you prefer Fawn’s Curse or Fawn’s Rest. After selecting a name, your next task is to fill out the Fawn’s Memoir by recording special items like the Bloom & Rage poster and the personal corners of each girl.

More Memoirs are available inside the cabin, including:

    • Terrible Toys: If you found the dirty troll doll in a hole with Kat back during The First Night, it’s now beside Swann’s corner.
    • Graffiti: While the cabin has various graffiti, the only one you can collect is the blue-haired girl’s art by the door.

Kat will express her fondness for the name, and if you say "It’s not for hunters anymore," you’ll earn a bit of approval from her. The girls will share their take on the name you chose:

    • For Fawn’s Rest, Nora will comment on the name, allowing you to respond with "Maybe the deer will come back now…" without any significant consequences.
    • For Fawn’s Curse, Autumn will initially be displeased, and you can say "Maybe the ghosts drove out the hunter!" which likewise has no impact on relationships.

After those lighthearted moments, the conversation shifts to ideas about taking a bath in the cabin. Swann might quip, "Where would you poop?", but this too has no serious implications. If you explore the trapdoor passage and enjoy the view of the lake, you’ll get some additional dialogue.

Once you’ve completed all interactions and filled out the Fawn’s Memoir, head toward the door to finish the chapter.

  • Every Option Explored in Chapter 8: Bloom & Rage Reunion

Every Option Explored in Chapter 8: Bloom & Rage Reunion

In chapter eight of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, titled "Reunion," players delve deeper into Swann’s character and her relationships with her new friends—Nora, Autumn, and Kat.

During this part of the game, Swann speaks into her camcorder while ordering drinks and having a candid talk with Autumn. Players make decisions that shape the outcome of this chapter. This guide will walk you through all the choices available and highlight which options lead to positive, negative, or neutral responses. After testing every option by saying nothing during timed choices, we’ve determined that the outcomes remain neutral regardless of the selection made.

    Talking to the Bartender

At the start of the chapter, Swann is at a bar, trying to catch the bartender’s eye. Upon her second attempt, he approaches her and asks how the reunion is going. Here, you have two choices:

    Response Result
    I’m a bit nervous… Neutral
I’m happy to see her. Neutral

The bartender then asks what drink you’d like to order. Your first order is for Autumn, giving you a chance to demonstrate your attention from the previous chapter:

    Drink Option Result
    Whiskey and Coke Neutral
    Beer Neutral
Rum and Coke Neutral but may create a positive interaction with Autumn later.
    Vermouth Neutral

Next, it’s time to order for Swann. There are initially two options, but if you delay your response while the bartender talks, a third option, a gin and tonic, becomes available:

    Drink Option Result
Frostbite Cocktail Neutral but can lead to a discussion about alcohol with Autumn.
Local Soda Neutral but raises questions about Swann’s choices around drinking.
Gin and Tonic Neutral but like Frostbite may spark a discussion on the topic.

After placing your order, a song starts playing. You can look up towards the speaker and begin to reminisce.

    The Swann Show

In a flashback to 1995, Swann talks to her camcorder and must choose a name for her show. You can select from options like "The Swann Show," "As The Swann Turns," or "The Swann Files." This decision will carry weight later in the game, though nothing has hinged on this choice just yet.

Following that, Swann’s mother calls for dinner. The responses to this call yield neutral outcomes.

Now, Swann opens up about her feelings regarding her three friends. The game monitors how you perceive them, reflecting various emotional tones—romantic, platonic, or negative.

    About Nora:

    Response Result
    Moving sucks… Neutral
I hope we stay friends. Positive

    Back to the Present

Fast forward to 2022, when Swann’s and Autumn’s drinks are ready. Choosing to pay now or open a tab leads to neutral outcomes. Shortly after, a woman named Pam enters the scene and tries to strike up a conversation with Swann. Players can choose to stay and chat or exit the conversation at various points.

    Response Result
Hi, I’m Swann. This will be remembered.
I should get back. Neutral, exits chat.

When the bartender addresses Swann and Autumn as "young women," Swann can respond in two ways:

    Response Result
    We’re not that young. Neutral
I’m here with my friend, Autumn. Neutral

Pam’s small talk with Swann includes another set of options:

    Response Result
Nice meeting you! Neutral, exits chat.
Are you from around here? This will be remembered.

    Catching Up with Autumn

Afterward, you return to Autumn, and you’ll select a drink. Most options yield neutral results except for rum and Coke, which can lead to a positive response if you explain, “Thought I’d surprise you with an old favorite.”

If you chose alcohol, Autumn will ask if you drink. If birch beer is chosen, she’ll inquire about that as well. Each choice will earn you a plant icon indicating that it will be remembered.

After toasting, even seemingly negative options can yield positive outcomes:

    Response Result
    To being old hags. Positive
    To our reunion. Positive

If you remain silent, Autumn will awkwardly raise her own toast and express surprise at your presence. You can respond in two ways:

    Response Result
    I missed you. Positive
    I almost didn’t come. Neutral

As Autumn reflects on the past, Swann has the option to show support or downplay the moment’s importance:

    Response Result
    I’m sorry – I understand. It’s a lot. Positive
It’s fine. The past is the past. Negative

Next, you can let Autumn know you’ve “been trying to remember that summer.” This leads to a positive reaction if you convey the thought; letting it time out remains neutral.

When asked about her life, you can indicate where you live:

    Response Result
My place is across the lake. Positive
Autumn, what is this about? Neutral, exits conversation.

Swann can share about her life in Canada with two neutral options. When Autumn mentions her son, you will have a mix of responses with a third option appearing after a brief wait:

    Response Result
I’m sorry about your divorce. Neutral (timed option).
You have a son. That’s wonderful. Positive
Wow, I can’t imagine having kids. Neutral

After discussing Swann’s love life (which is also neutral), you can note that “It’s good to catch up” for one last positive response before the chapter wraps up with a mysterious twist.

You can assist her in creating a collection of memoirs that showcase the daily life of her hometown. From the stories of unfamiliar faces to the simplest of items, each aspect of this place holds a unique significance for her.

  • In-Depth Guide to Chapter 1 of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

In-Depth Guide to Chapter 1 of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage continues the tradition of developer Don’t Nod by emphasizing choices and their consequences. The game begins with a chapter titled “Expectations,” which effectively establishes how your decisions will affect your gameplay experience.

Fortunately, the initial phone call with Swann’s mother is relatively straightforward. While you can influence their relationship, none of your responses will result in significant emotional outcomes that you’ll encounter later on. However, there is one important choice to consider during this exchange, which we’ll discuss further down.

    Shadow, Snowy, or Pumpkin?

During your conversation with Swann’s mother, your comments have minimal influence, but you do get to choose the name of Swann’s cat. This choice also determines the cat’s color. If you name the cat Pumpkin, it will be orange; if you choose Snowy, it will be white; and if you opt for Shadow, the cat will be black.

Decisions that significantly impact the storyline are indicated by a growing plant symbol, which you’ll see next to the cat naming decision.

Another small choice involves interacting with various items in Swann’s car. If you continue to pick up and examine objects like her mask or a bottle of maple syrup, Swann’s mom will comment on your lack of focus.

If you’d prefer to end the call earlier, you can, but Swann’s mother will ignore your first attempt to hang up.

    Leaving The Car

The player looks at the steering wheel in their car in Lost Records Bloom & Rage.

Once the call ends, you can try to leave the car, but you must turn off the engine first. The push-start button is located on the right side of the steering wheel.

After stepping out, you’ll experience a quick flashback of Swann running through the woods, accompanied by the voices of her friends in the background. If you fall, you’ll remain looking at the ground until you pick up Swann’s flashlight, which is situated down and to the right.

  • Discovering Autumn’s Keys in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Discovering Autumn’s Keys in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

In the opening moments of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, you’ll get to know some new friends who need help searching a long-abandoned playground for some missing keys. It’s nighttime, so visibility is low, but Swann has a camcorder that helps shine a light in the darkness.

This chapter has various possible outcomes, and the girls may not always find what they’re looking for. We’ll guide you through the different endings so you can achieve the one you desire. Whether Autumn manages to retrieve the Yooper Scooper keys is up to you—so keep trying!

    How to Find Autumn’s Keys

As you begin the chapter, you’ll have a short conversation with Autumn, Nora, and Kat before heading into the forgotten playground located behind the Movie Palace to help Autumn look for her lost keys. Although there are many items to interact with, none of them will assist you in finding the keys.

Your first step is to approach the giant metal rocket and shine your camcorder light on it. Zoom in to spot Autumn’s keys dangling from the top. The girls will try to shake and kick the rocket, but the keys remain stuck up there. Now, you need to find a way to retrieve those keys.

    How to Cover the Grate

Before proceeding, make sure to cover the grate beneath the rocket. The keys are positioned just right that they will fall directly into it, so grab some nearby cardboard to cover the hole.

You need to do this before following Autumn to get the brick, or you won’t be able to complete the task.

After covering the grate, join Autumn by the overpass to sneak into the construction zone.

    How to Retrieve Autumn’s Keys

Stick with Autumn through the construction area until you reach the homeless camp under the overpass. Circle around the tent to find a broken brick, which is just the right size to throw.

Next, make your way back to the forgotten playground and attempt to knock the keys down from the rocket. There are two possible outcomes:

    • Autumn Gets the Keys

With the brick ready, Autumn has three chances to knock the keys down. Use the camcorder light to help her aim. If you don’t, she might miss and you’ll have to retrieve the brick from the mud.

If you forget to cover the grate, Autumn can get her keys down, but they’ll fall through and be lost forever.

    • Kat Gets the Keys

Lost Records - Bloom & Rage Kat getting the keys down from the playground rocket.

If Autumn misses her chance, she’ll get frustrated and back down. That’s when Kat will jump in to climb the rocket and retrieve the keys.

She may fall when she tries this but will emerge relatively unscathed.

The rocket will topple like in other scenarios, but Autumn will still get her keys back safely without any trouble at her job.

  • Memoirs from Forgotten Pages: Flourish & Fury

Creating memoirs is Swann’s specialty, and there’s a lot to document in Velvet Cove. In Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, you’ll have numerous chances to make your own videos to share with your friends Autumn, Nora, and Kat. However, with so much to explore, you might overlook some details.

Fortunately, we’ve kept a record for you. From start to finish, we’ve compiled a list of every memoir we’ve discovered. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know to create your memoirs, edit your recordings, and clear space on the camcorder to keep the fun going. Ready, set, go!

    How to Create Memoirs

Swann enjoys making home videos, and as her director, you’ll be in charge of capturing the best scenes. To create a successful memoir, you need to obtain the required number of clips for the final product.

You can find the required number displayed at the top left of the capture box, next to the memoir title.

Most subjects can be captured only once, but there are usually more subjects available than needed for the collectible tapes. Every one adds to the scene total, but you only need to use the specified amount for the memoir.

Memoirs are automatically created from the clips you’ve gathered, and you can watch them anytime through the camcorder menu. Below is a list of all available memoirs along with the chapters where you can film them:

Others might require you to perform a specific action or interact with objects.

    How to Edit Memoirs

Often, you’ll collect more footage than necessary for a single tape. Luckily, you can choose which clips to include. Open the memoir menu and then select the option to edit at the bottom left of the screen.

From there, you can rearrange existing videos or replace scenes to create the perfect memoir. Once you’re satisfied, save your edits and then watch your newly created version with Swann’s commentary.

You can delete unnecessary footage by using the correct option shown at the bottom of the camcorder menu. This will allow you to remove any clips you no longer need, including extras that could have been used for other memoirs.

    Deleted footage cannot be recovered

If you want to be cautious, use the junk tab to browse through any unnecessary footage. When deleting, a prompt will inform you if the clip can be used in a memoir. If it can’t, it’s just for your entertainment, so it’s safe to delete.
