How to Defeat Raging Conchfly in Hollow Knight: Silksong Completing & Solving

As you go through the different biomes in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’ll often come across bosses that seem easy the first time. However, there’s a chance you’ll face a tougher version of these bosses later on. The Great Conchflies are one such example.

You can find the second version of this boss in the Sands of Karak area, called the Raging Conchfly. While this fight features only one Conchfly, it’s much more challenging because of its relentless attacks and speed.

    Where to Find Raging Conchfly

Before you can track down the Raging Conchfly, you need to reach the Sands of Karak through a hidden pathway in the Blasted Steps. This becomes accessible after you get the Clawline ability and identify a conch-shaped icon on the map in the top left of the Blasted Steps biome.

From there, you use Clawline on the rings to climb higher toward the top left and enter the Sands of Karak. This area is tougher than Blasted Steps, featuring stronger enemies and platforms that only appear temporarily after hitting an orb on a tree bark.

    Steps to Reach Raging Conchfly:

    • After entering, go through the first large room on the right to reach a central area where you can return to Blasted Steps and unlock the path to the bench near the Bellway.
    • Proceed to the right through another large room, then go up and take the left path. Before advancing further, it’s wise to activate the bench on the far right of Sands of Karak as a save point.
    • Continue through two larger rooms until you find the Raging Conchfly. After defeating it, you can reopen the path downward and use the bench near the Bellway in Blasted Steps as a checkpoint for the fight.

While the Bench in Blasted Steps might seem distant from the boss, it helps you avoid a difficult room during your return.

You’ll encounter the Raging Conchfly blocking your way just before reaching the Coral Tower, and it will fight fiercely.

    Raging Conchfly First Phase Guide

This boss is one of the toughest in the game due to its quick attacks and movement restrictions. It also gains new moves during different phases, with a phase change occurring after about 40% of its health is depleted.

    Initial attacks include:

    • Burrow Attack: The boss spins in a direction beforehand, then comes out of a wall and burrows into another. It quickly dashes toward a spot and burrows into the wall, repeating this several times. To counter, learn the timing of the dash and avoid its path, which allows you to land hits.

    • Projectile Attack: The boss opens its mouth, and a projectile appears before it throws a bouncing Conchcutter at the ground. Dodge by positioning yourself directly under the boss when it opens its mouth to hit or parry the projectile for a chance to counterattack.

Avoid jumping away during projectile attacks, as this will guarantee a hit.

This phase mainly involves these two attacks. Although they seem simple, the rapid succession and the boss’s spinning dash can easily throw you off. The key is to stay patient and use your movement abilities only when necessary. The best moments to strike are during its attack animations, especially right after dodging a burrow or other moves to heal safely.

    Raging Conchfly Second Phase Guide

The second phase begins with a roar and introduces two new attacks, along with more frequent burrow attacks. The boss now can perform multiple burrows in quick succession.

    New attacks include:

    • Roar Attack: The boss roars constantly, summoning minions to perform burrow attacks at different spots. It then uses a horizontal spin attack to move across the field. Dodging requires precise timing—find a safe spot during the minions’ burrows and jump at the right moment to evade the spin.

    • Multi Burrow: When spawning on one side with three minions in front, the boss spawns them to spin horizontally in random order and then moves through the field itself. Using items like the Faydown Cloak helps, allowing you to jump over the minions and avoid their spin moves.

During this phase, patience remains vital. Don’t rush the boss; instead, wait for openings between its attacks. Getting close to the boss after dodging certain moves can let you deal damage, particularly during its roar or after avoiding burrows.

Once you hit the boss enough times, the fight ends, allowing you entry into the Coral Tower, where you gain the Conchcutter tool and a secret bench on the right side.

  • How to Get Through the Mist in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing Challenges

How to Get Through the Mist in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing Challenges

While exploring a biome in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you typically map out the area to see your path and find where to go next. This is true for most biomes, except for one called The Mist.

The Mist is the only biome that changes each time you enter it. It doesn’t have its own map, and every room in this area has multiple exits. To find the right way, you need to follow a specific clue.

    Where to Find The Mist

You can access The Mist mainly from two biomes: Bilewater and Sinner’s Road. Here’s how you can reach it from each:

    • From Sinner’s Road, go up to the top left side of the biome and find a hidden path that leads into Bilewater. This path will eventually bring you to The Mist.
    • If you already entered Bilewater from the right side of Sinner’s Road, you can go around to reach the Bellway in Bilewater. From there, go left past a body to enter The Mist.

As you approach The Mist, you’ll notice some bright flies in the room. These will be your helpful guides throughout the biome.

    How to Beat The Mist

The Mist is filled with fog, making everything around you barely visible. There are also many spike traps that activate when you stand in certain spots. Move slowly and carefully to succeed in this area.

When you first enter The Mist, your main goal is to look for the bright flies you saw before entering. Usually, there are two or three flies in each room. When you play the Needolin for them for a few seconds, they will lead you to the correct exit.

Sometimes, the flies will cross big spikes or obstacles. If that happens, follow the general direction of the spikes—they’ll lead you to an opening. You’ll also find Silk Spools here, which help restore your Silk supply.

To progress, you need to pick the right exit in three rooms to reach the center of The Mist, and then choose the correct route in three more rooms to leave and reach the Exhaust Organ in Bilewater. This organ activates an elevator that takes you down to the Underworks area, just below Whispering Vaults.

    How to Beat Wraiths

The only enemies in The Mist are Wraiths, which are quite challenging. Once a Wraith sees you, it dashes toward your location every few seconds. If it hits you during a dash, you lose two lives and your Silk gets reduced. Avoid getting hit during its dash.

A good way to handle Wraiths is to stand on the ground when they start to scream. Then, press the jump button quickly (not hold it). This move lets you dodge their dash and land a downward strike on them. With two Needle upgrades, you’ll need four hits to defeat each Wraith.

Tip: It’s best to fight only one Wraith at a time. Fighting multiple Wraiths at once makes things much harder.

As you move past the middle of The Mist, the number of Wraiths in the last few rooms will increase significantly. Staying alert and carefully choosing your timing will help you survive.

  • How To Defeat Disgraced Chef Lugoli in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

How To Defeat Disgraced Chef Lugoli in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

Playing Hollow Knight: Silksong even for a short time quickly shows how challenging the game can be. You may find yourself repeating the same parkour sections or boss fights multiple times before succeeding. However, the main story path is generally easier than the optional routes.

These optional areas are where the game truly tests your skills, and one prime example is the fight against Disgraced Chef Lugoli. You’ll find this boss in the Sinner’s Road zone. Be prepared to move quickly and precisely to defeat it.

Where To Find Disgraced Chef Lugoli

To locate Disgraced Chef Lugoli, start in the Sinner’s Road area, which you access through the top part of Greymoor, just above Halfway Home. You’ll need the Faydown Cloak to reach this boss. Once equipped, enter Sinner’s Road and head to the right until you reach the edge of the area.

In the corner, you’ll see a double jump spot that leads you across the gap to the other side of a door—possibly one you’ve passed by earlier. Open this door and proceed further up on the right side, where a large gong awaits. Hitting this gong will start the boss fight.

It’s wise to use a nearby bench as a save point before you start, since this fight can be tough and defeat is common.

How To Beat Disgraced Chef Lugoli

The fight occurs in two parts. First, you must clear out two normal enemies that spawn and attack together. These enemies approach and swing their blades downward three times in a row. You can easily dodge these attacks by dashing to the side as they prepare to strike.

Once these enemies are defeated, Lugoli drops from the ceiling and enters the battle proper. Its attacks include:

Attack Wind-Up & Description Recommended Counter
Stomp Attack The boss jumps high, then lands with force, spawning four muckmaggots that travel across the arena. Dash out as it lands and then counterattack once it’s above you.
Ground Slam The boss charges its weapon behind and slams it down, creating damage in an area and releasing two muckmaggots in an arc. Dodge closer immediately after the slam to avoid the muckmaggots.
Dash Attack The boss charges its lower body and then dashes forward a long distance. Keep your distance to avoid getting hit.
Underground Attack Starting in the second phase, Lugoli burrows underground and re-emerges, spawning multiple muckmaggots. Stay clear of where it’s coming up to avoid the attack.

The boss has generous gaps between its attacks, giving you time to heal if needed.

    The Muckmaggots Mechanic

A key mechanic in this fight involves the muckmaggots. If hit by their spawn balls, your silk bar gets tainted, preventing you from using the bind ability to heal yourself. To fix this, you’ll need to spend one bind to clear the taint.

To help avoid muckmaggots, you can acquire the Wreath of Purity from the Putrified Ducts area. Additionally, using tools like the Cogfly and Pollip Pouch together can significantly ease this fight by providing extra help.

  • Things We Wish We Knew Before Completing Our Door to Strangers in No, I’m Not Human

Things We Wish We Knew Before Completing Our Door to Strangers in No, I’m Not Human

Surviving in “No, I’m Not a Human” is all about figuring out if the people knocking at your door are real humans or dangerous visitors trying to kill everyone during the night. You need to be able to tell them apart to stay alive.

This game is full of secrets, many endings, and small details. To help you get through your first few playthroughs more easily, here are some useful tips based on our experience.

Check the TV More Than Once a Day
Each morning, you get a broadcast warning about new symptoms. But it’s helpful to click the TV in your bedroom more than once during the day—up to two extra times. Doing this unlocks new info, like fresh items at ForRest or new phone numbers to call.
Additionally, you can listen to the hallway radio once a day once you find the right station. This can reveal more details and contacts.

Use ForRest as Often as Possible
On your first full day, when you see the ad for ForRest’s delivery service, call and order two cans of EnerJeka. Each can restores some stamina. Keep ordering these every possible day, since they offer helpful advantages. Remember, you can only order one item per night, and deliveries arrive that night. After that, you need to wait a couple of days before ordering again.
Prioritize items like EnerJeka or Cat Food, which give you useful benefits.

Let the Cat Lady Inside, Even Though She Looks Not Human
The woman with the long neck and a cat isn’t human, but always let her in. She might kill a guest on her first visit, and you’ll need to shoot her in the morning, but it’s worth it. She’s the only way to get the cat into your house, which opens additional endings and enables you to use Cat Food. When used, Cat Food prevents anyone from dying overnight—even if a visitor is present.

Skip Using Cat Food on Nights 6 and 13
While using Cat Food is generally helpful, don’t waste it on nights 6 and 13. No new visitors arrive then, so verifying your guests during the day should suffice. Save your food for nights when new visitors might come.

Stay With People on Certain Nights
The Pale Man Visitor appears on nights 3, 5, 9, and 11. He asks if you are alone. If you are, that’s an immediate game over—so make sure to have someone in your home those nights, even if it’s risky.
Beware, FEMA also shows up on nights 4, 5, 8, and 10, removing one or two people each time. Plan who you invite carefully.

Use FEMA Notices for Unsure Characters
When you suspect someone isn’t human, give them a FEMA Notice. It guarantees FEMA will take them away on their next visit. This helps protect alliances you want to keep or removes characters you’re unsure about, especially if your stamina is low and you want to avoid testing each guest.

Not All Visitors Kill or Show Typical Symptoms
Not every Visitor kills on their first night, and some may look completely normal—like having regular eyes or no hair. For example, the Cat Lady doesn’t always kill, and characters like the Immortal Man, Seductive Woman, or Dreamer Guy might be non-hostile. Keep in mind, only one death can happen per night, even with multiple Visitors.

Humans Can Fake Symptoms; Use Context and Backstories
Symptoms such as red eyes or skin irritation aren’t guaranteed signs of Visitors. For example, the woman with glasses has red eyes because she cried, and her skin might be burned from trying to save children. The grave digger’s dirty nails are just part of his job. Pay attention to what you know about each character—they often give clues about their true nature.

Check and Change Your Own Symptoms Regularly
You can verify your own health in the bathroom mirror. You might see that your teeth are white or that you have fungus under your arms. Symptoms like fungal armpits or red eyes can come and go, so keep an eye on your condition. Also, during the later nights—like the eighth, tenth, and twelfth—you’ll meet the Vigilante, who asks for proof you aren’t a Visitor. Failing to show proof results in death, so use your symptoms or other guarantees (like clean hands or white teeth) as evidence.
Remember, symptoms are temporary and will revert after a few days.

You’re Not As Limited in Saving as You Might Think
There’s a jar of Kombucha in the hallway you can use to save your game. If used, you need to order another jar before saving again, which is limited by how often you can order. Alternatively, you can use the game’s menu option to “Save and quit” without using a jar. This lets you pause and return later without consuming resources, making planning your moves easier.

Always Have People in Your Home on Certain Nights
On nights 3, 5, 9, and 11, it’s crucial to have someone else with you. The Pale Man visitor appears and asks if you’re alone. If you’re single, it’s game over. Bringing guests can be risky but necessary to avoid bad endings.
However, be aware that FEMA removes people during nights 4, 5, 8, and 10, so choose your houseguests wisely.

Use FEMA Notices to Manage Suspicious Characters
Giving a FEMA Notice to a guest ensures FEMA will take care of them on their next visit. Use this on characters you’re unsure about to keep your house safe or to remove potential threats. Notices can sometimes be given in exchange for bribes or when FEMA visits.

Visitors Don’t Always Kill or Show Typical Symptoms
Some Visitors, like the Cat Lady, don’t always kill on their first night. The symptoms they show can be normal, such as healthy eyes or no visible signs. There are also a few non-hostile visitors that are still dangerous but less likely to kill immediately, like the Immortal Man or Dreamer Guy. Only one death can happen each night, regardless of how many Visitors are present.

Humans Can Faint False Symptoms, So Identify Them Carefully
Symptoms can be faked by humans. For instance, the woman with glasses has red eyes from crying and skin burns from helping children—not necessarily indicating she’s a Visitor. Use logic based on character backstories and appearance to make accurate judgments.

    Check Your Own Symptoms Regularly
Look at yourself in the mirror to see if anything unusual is happening—like fungal armpits or discolored teeth. Symptoms such as fungus or red eyes are temporary and can reappear after a few days. Keeping your own health in check is vital to prove to visitors and to stay alive.

You Can Fight the Save Limit with a Friendly Trick
A jar of Kombucha in the hallway allows you to save your game without using resource-consuming options. To do this, just go to the menu, select “Save and quit,” and your progress will be saved without using the jar. Just remember, you’ll need to reorder another jar through ForRest each time you want to save again.

  • How to Defeat First Sinner in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing & Solving

How to Defeat First Sinner in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing & Solving

One of our favorite battles in Hollow Knight: Silksong is the First Sinner, ranking right up there with Phantom. It’s a quick and fair fight that keeps you constantly alert. To succeed, you’ll need to carefully dodge her punches, carefully walking the thin line of silk exits during the fight.

It’s unfortunate that this boss is so easy to overlook. But exploring and satisfying curiosity will greatly reward you when you find her. Plus, defeating her adds another powerful Ancestral Art to your collection.

How to Find the Apostate Key and the First Sinner

The First Sinner is a secret boss in Act Two, and you probably won’t encounter her unless you explore Pharloom thoroughly. You may come across her map area, called the Slab, earlier in Act One, but you won’t be able to access her door until much later.

Near the bottom of the Slab, by the Bellway Station, you’ll see a large locked door heading east. To open this, you need the Apostate Key. However, this key isn’t available in the Slab itself.

Instead, you’ll need to visit the Putrified Ducts. To access this area, you first need the Faydown Cloak, which you get at the top of Mt. Faye. There are two ways into the Putrified Ducts:

    • From Memorium above the Citadel’s Choral Chambers
    • From the top of Bilewater after defeating Groal the Great

Once inside the Putrified Ducts, head toward the bottom where you will find the NPC Huntress. If you go to the top left corner of the bottom room, navigating past enemies, you can pick up the Apostate Key lying on the ground.

You can use the Apostate Key in two spots within the Slab: the bottom door east of Bellway, which leads you closer to her, and a second door at the Slab’s top, which contains a platforming segment. Using the key here can also give access to a second chamber with a Mask Shard, making your next fight easier.

To reach the First Sinner’s prison, use the key on the bottom door, then drop down one ledge to the right. In a room with a Rosary chest and hanging Rosaries, jump onto the wall above the door and from there, double jump onto a barely visible path above the room. Follow this path — there’s some light platforming involved — until you reach a giant, silk-covered bell-shaped container. Strike the embedded pins pinning the chains to open the door.

Once open, interact with the weaver statue in the center and bind to it to start the fight.

How to Defeat the First Sinner

Preparation is key; don’t walk into her fight unready. It’s often necessary to return to the bench and adjust your build for better chances. At minimum, upgrade your Needle to at least +1, ideally to the Hivesteel Blade, which you unlock by completing Pinmaster’s Oil and the Great Taste of Pharloom.

Make sure your primary combat Crest has all tool slots unlocked with Memory Lockets. Anything less leaves you vulnerable.

The fight itself isn’t overly complex, but her quick attacks and overlapping move sets demand your focus. Keep centered in the arena and be mindful of dashing, as many of her Silkspears and teleportations are hard to predict. Staying near the middle reduces accidental hits from her ranged silks and teleport strikes.

Most damage is taken from her Frenzied Strikes and teleports during her Silkspear attack. To minimize harm:

    • Dash toward her last known location rather than away.
    • Jump quickly during Frenzied Strikes or try to parry if possible.

If you’re using the Beast or Witch Crest, they make healing much easier. They allow you to heal while countering her aggression, giving you extra chances to recover during the fight. For instance, the Witch Crest with the Injector Band speeds up healing animations, and combined with the Claw Mirror, allows for multiple quick heals, even during her aggressive phases.

There are few opportunities to heal, mostly during staggers or while mid-air during the Frenzied Slashes. Being efficient with healing tools is crucial.

    Final Phase and Victory

Her second phase begins after a fake-out where she appears to be defeated. She then reemerges, moving faster and using Rune Rage, an even more aggressive attack pattern. Her most common damage sources in this phase are Frenzied Strikes and her teleportation attacks.

    To avoid damage:

    • Dash towards her last known position after she teleports.
    • Jump over her Frenzied Strikes, or parry if you can.

Patiently observing her attack patterns and slow, deliberate responses work best. Remember, as Hornet, you’re swift and dangerous—sting like one.

After defeating her, you gain the right to accept the Weaver’s power. Inside her memories, a platforming section requires the Faydown Cloak to reach the end. When you succeed, you leave her prison and the Slab with a new power: Rune Rage. This ability, used by her during the fight, can now be turned against your enemies and those of the weavers.

  • Top Corvette Modules for Completing and Solving in No Man’s Sky

Top Corvette Modules for Completing and Solving in No Man’s Sky

Since its launch, No Man’s Sky has seen many updates and new features, but none have probably made as immediate an impact as the Corvette ships. These ships can be built from scratch, giving players lots of room for creativity, and they’re more than just a visual upgrade.

Corvettes are also practical. They can do almost everything that standard ships can do, but they come with extra modules that make exploring space easier and more enjoyable.

    ### Best Interior Modules

You can add decorative and functional modules inside your Corvette, with some improving gameplay. The most useful include:

    | Module | Usage |
    | — | — |
    | Cargo Racks | These work just like those in your base or on your Freighter. They connect to the same inventory, helping you manage your supplies on the move. Now you won’t need to carry your Freighter everywhere. |
    | Mission Radar | Works like any other Mission Board in No Man’s Sky, but now you can access it wherever you are, without visiting a Space Station or the Anomaly. |

    ### Best Corvette Modules

Corvettes function similarly to regular ships, but they have some differences, especially in modules. There are two main types:

    – Corvette-specific modules, applied at the Corvette Workshop and physically located on the ship.
    – Technology modules, which are used on any starship and added via the Technology menu.

Keep in mind, both types take up slots in your ship’s technology inventory, so plan your build accordingly.

    ### Best Corvette-Specific Modules

When building your Corvette, you can purchase basic modules using Units, while others you’ll need to find during your adventures or trade for at the Workshop. The most impactful modules include:

    | Module | Usage |
    | — | — |
    | Zenith Class Reactor | Doubles your Warp Cell efficiency, boosts hyperdrive range by about 200 light-years, and offers better fuel economy. |
    | Ion Barrier | The top shield booster, increasing shield strength by around 13%. Ideal if you plan to fight. |
    | Habitation Modules | Increase your Corvette’s cargo capacity, separate from your inventory. Very useful for storing more items. |

Reactors come with unique bonuses; if you don’t need to boost warp efficiency, a Ceto-Class Reactor, which increases shield strength, might suit your needs better. All reactor options can be previewed at the Workshop.

    ### Best Technology Modules

There are technology modules transferable from your regular ship that you can install on your Corvette. Depending on what you want, some modules are essential or significantly enhance convenience:

    | Module | Usage |
    | — | — |
    | Launch Auto-Charger | Automatically refuels your launch thrusters, eliminating the need for constant refills, especially during frequent landings and takeoffs. |
    | Hyperdrive Upgrades | Required for warping between systems of different star types, such as Cadmium, Emeril, or Indium Drives. |
    | Teleport Receiver | Lets you transfer items remotely between your Exosuit and Corvette over longer distances, saving time and effort. |

All these modules help improve the performance and efficiency of your Corvette, making your space exploration smoother.

  • How to Save Sherma in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

How to Save Sherma in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

Sherma is the most precious and beloved character in Hollow Knight: Silksong. His safety is our top priority, and when he is threatened, we ride out at dawn.

This time, Sherma has gone on a bit of an adventure into the Whiteward to find balms and bandages for wounded pilgrims of the Songclave. Although his cause is noble, Pharloom’s shadows are not a place for someone as pure as him. It is our responsibility to protect him at all costs.

How to Start Balms for the Wounded

Before you can begin the Balms for the Wounded quest, you need to complete two key steps so Sherma will appear at the Songclave:

    1. Open the shortcut gate at Bone Bottom called The Marrow connection.
    2. Defeat the Last Judge and open the Grand Gate in the Blasted Steps.

Important: If you haven’t done both, Sherma won’t be able to progress further into Pharloom.

    Meeting Sherma in Various Locations

Along your journey, you may find Sherma at several spots. These aren’t necessarily required to advance his story, but it might be helpful to find him in these places:

    • In front of the Bell Beast (while it’s trapped)
    • Pilgrim’s Rest
    • Bellhart
    • Bench at the Blasted Steps
    • Citadel Spa

Note: Sherma appears at the Citadel Spa after the Songclave bell rings. He may wait until the Cogwork Dancers are defeated; if he doesn’t show up, try defeating them.

    Entering Whiteward

To reach Whiteward for the first time, start at the Grand Bellway station. Enter the chamber on the left, take the second exit from the bottom left, and go through the long corridor into the far room. The Whiteward entrance is marked by an upside-down spear sign on the bottom right. Inside, use your key to unlock the elevator to access this area.

Once inside, take the elevator down to the bottom. Travel left past the key slot, jumping onto platforms to reach a narrow upper tunnel. Ascend as far as possible, navigating through steam vents, then jump up and to the right, avoiding circling fans.

Tip: There’s a rare Spool Fragment under the elevator shaft. Climb up, hit the lever at the top, and fall to the middle side paths before the elevator arrives to retrieve it.

    Progressing Through Whiteward

Eventually, you’ll reach a dead end with a lever. Pulling it opens a new path below. Drop into this room and destroy false walls along your route to the right. Pass the elevator shaft, destroy a grate, and fall down to find the Whiteward Map for sale—costs 70 Rosaries—but your goal is further right.

Following Sherma’s trail from the map area, head past enemies and climb onto a platform to reach the room above. Then, cross spikes and enter a building with bells at the entrance.

    Saving Sherma

Inside Sherma’s hideout, locate him at the back of the building. He is hiding behind a false wall, which you must destroy to reveal his room. Talk to him, but beware: morticians and surgeons will appear afterward. You need to defeat them all to rescue Sherma. Strategies include:

    • Using traps like Tacks and Sting Shards (preferably with Pollip Pouch)
    • Employing Cross Stitch to punish over-aggressive morticians
    • Listening carefully for unseen movements
    • Staying mobile to avoid being surrounded
    • Prioritizing morticians over surgeons

Tip: Use Cling Grip to climb the walls and heal if surrounded.

After defeating all enemies, speak to Sherma again. He will reward you with a Spool Fragment. He will then return to the Songclave on his own; you don’t need to escort him. He’ll stay safe at Songclave with new dialogue about the bandages, and his story concludes for now.

Finding the White Key in Whiteward

On the right side of the Songclave, the White Key can be found against the metal fence on the ground. Pick it up, as it’s essential for entering the area to save Sherma.

Note: If the key isn’t there, it’s possible that story progression has blocked access. Sometimes the key may be purchased from merchant Jubilana at Songclave, who must be unlocked via her Wish quest first.

    Tracking Sherma’s Trail

Start from the Whiteward map dispenser and follow his trail right through various hazards, past enemies, and up into the building with bells at its entrance. Continue over spikes, ascend to the room above, and then head left over the spikes to find the building with bells.

This is as far as the current quest details go. Protecting Sherma involves navigating treacherous areas, defeating enemies, and gathering the necessary items to aid him.

  • How to Defeat the Far Fields Savage Beastfly in Hollow Knight: Silksong

How to Defeat the Far Fields Savage Beastfly in Hollow Knight: Silksong

The Savage Beastfly is one of the most hated bosses in the Metroidvania genre, especially in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Developers took a boss that players already disliked and made it even worse by placing the rematch above a lava pit with temporary platforms. Luckily, there’s a Mask Shard hidden somewhere in this area for those willing to endure the challenge a second time.

If you decide to take on this dangerous lava-filled stage, here are some helpful tips. Don’t worry, completing this fight means you probably won’t face this nightmare again — or at least, that’s the hope.

How to Start the Savage Beastfly Challenge

It’s not entirely clear what activates this quest, but for us, it appeared after:

    • Getting the Clawline and Faydown Cloak
    • Defeating the original Savage Beastfly in Hunter’s March
    • Starting the tasks to collect three melodies in the Citadel by defeating the Clockwork Dancers

If this Wish doesn’t show up on the Bellhart Wishboard, make sure you’ve met these minimum requirements. If it still doesn’t appear, you might need to unlock it through other means.

Warning: Don’t delay fighting the Savage Beastfly! If you wait until Act Three, it will be tougher, with more health and a dangerous projectile attack, making the fight much more difficult.

    Tracking the Savage Beastfly

Once you accept the quest, go to the Far Fields Bellway Station. From there, track the boss by heading to the top-left corner of the central vertical room near Greymoor. Follow the tracked items, and a translucent path will guide you around the west side of the map. All the locations are near each other along a natural route, so it’s hard to miss the next destination.

Your trail will eventually lead back to the arena where you fought the Fourth Chorus boss, after getting the Drifter’s Cloak.

How to Defeat the Savage Beastfly in the Far Fields

This boss fights just like its first encounter — all moves and combos are the same. If you want a refresher, check out our original guide. The challenge now is fighting on a stage where the platforms can be destroyed. Plus, the boss has swapped its support enemies for a stronger spear-wielding foe that throws fire, limiting your safe zones.

Before the fight, equip the Magma Bell, which you can buy from Forge Daughter in the Deep Docks nearby. Wearing this reduces fire and magma damage by one mask, which is incredibly useful here.

The main threat after the Beastfly is a new minion it summons. This enemy throws fire spears that can temporarily block sections of your platforms. Use a combination of a Sting Shard and the Pollip Pouch to eliminate this helper quickly—upgrading your gear can allow a single Sting Shard to wipe it out with ease.

Strategy for Beating the Savage Beastfly

When you’re ready to face the boss, follow these tips:

    • Kill the minion ASAP, preferably with a Sting Shard.
    • Avoid excessive pogo-jumping, which can throw off the boss’s movement.
    • When the Beastfly slams downward, stay on one side of the arena.
    • If you run out of space, double jump high and float with the Drifter’s Cloak until more safe ground appears.
    • With the Magma Bell equipped, if an attack seems unavoidable, aim for the lava instead of the boss itself for less damage.

This fight requires practice and patience. Focus on keeping as much platform space as possible, and don’t let the minions overwhelm you. Remember, if you fail, the boss will be gone for good this time—use that as motivation to give it your best shot.

  • How to defeat Groal the Great in Hollow Knight: Silksong by completing and solving

How to defeat Groal the Great in Hollow Knight: Silksong by completing and solving

There are both good bosses and bad bosses in Hollow Knight: Silksong. The main difference depends on how much you need to weaken yourself to succeed. Groal is one of those bosses where your ability to find a good exploit can be more helpful than just relying on skill alone.

Groal’s fight is a huge challenge. It involves waves of weak enemies that take a long time to clear, a boss that takes up most of the arena and has two masks that deal damage, and a pit of wriggling maggots that make healing nearly impossible. Groal the Great can be incredibly frustrating. If those reasons aren’t enough, the run-back after defeat will test your patience to the limit.

How to Find and Prepare for Groal the Great

Groal is found in the Bilewater region, which is one of the toughest places to explore in Pharloom — possibly the worst. The best way to prepare is to wait until you reach the depths of Bilewater and come from the Putrified Ducts. Here’s why:

    1. Entering from the Putrified Ducts saves you from making a long, tedious trek back to Groal after each defeat.
    2. You can get the Wreath of Purity, which provides a temporary shield against the drawbacks of maggot water — very useful during the fight.

If you’re following this guide, chances are you’ve already gone too far to turn back.

Reaching Groal and the Hidden Bench

If you are determined to fight Groal from the south side of Bilewater, you must unlock a hidden bench. To do this:

    • Continue through Bilewater until you find a corridor on the right.
    • Go through the corridor into the next room.
    • On the far right of this room, drop into a corner to find a hidden path that leads into a vat of maggots.
    • Swim right and fall into the narrow tunnel to reach the bench.

Though you will still need to climb into the arena each time to fight Groal, this shortcut keeps you from restarting the entire Bilewater area repeatedly, saving time and effort.

    Setting Up at the Bench

Once at the bench, you can improve your strategy for fighting Groal. Here are two top tactics:

Name Crest Required Strategy Upside Downside
Rapid-Fire Trap Strategy Architect Fight the mobs normally and bombard Groal with traps from the maggot waters. Nearly immune to damage from Groal. Struggles with mobs; very costly if you fail.
Pogo Strategy Wanderer (or Witch) Bounce off the mobs and Groal, staying above the water as much as possible, then use traps to finish him off. More cost-effective; easier mobs; works with ancestral arts. Can run out of traps; fight takes longer; risk of dying.

No matter which method you pick, bring your best traps and the Pollip Pouch because traps are essential. Also, the Ascendant’s Grip from the Songclave merchant is a crucial upgrade for this fight.

How to Deal with Groal’s Minions

Before facing Groal, clear out his minions first. There are five waves of enemies plus two traps to deal with. During these waves, save your traps for when Groal enters the arena — wasting them on minor mobs is not efficient.

If you’ve died during this sequence before, keep your cocoon untouched until it’s truly needed later. It’s best to leave it intact until Groal appears, giving you a quick recovery option when necessary.

    Handling the Waves and Traps

    • The first trap appears between the second and third enemy waves. It swings in an arc from one corner to the other, so stand in a side-platform corner to avoid it.
    • The second trap appears between the fourth and fifth enemy waves and swings twice. Stay in the corner until both swings are over.

    How to Defeat Groal

The key to winning is understanding Groal’s attack patterns:

Attack Wind-Up & Description Suggested Counter
Swallow Groal inhales deeply, pulling Hornet towards his mouth. If caught, he’ll swallow her. Jump, pogo off his head, dash away, or let him catch you and mash attack to break free.
Spit Groal glows and spits two explosive balls. One short-range and one long-range. Run away if far, or dash under Groal and pogo over when close.
Dive Groal leaps up then dives into water, reemerging in a pool of maggots. Dash away, sprint to avoid his reemergence.
Reinforcements During dives, Groal calls up smaller minions that dive or are destroyed by traps. Ignore them; focus on avoiding their attacks.
Phase Two: Vengeful Toad Groal’s body turns black, firing soul projections. Hug the corners near the maggots, staying out of the path of the projectiles.

One of the most powerful tricks is to jump into the maggots. Yes, this sounds counterintuitive. The bottom corners of the arena are almost immune to damage, making it possible to stay safe and never heal. Just avoid the smaller reinforcements’ darts by jumping into the corners under the raised platforms.

    Fighting Groal in the Corners

While tucked away in the corner, you can still damage Groal by:

    • Throwing traps when he reappears, especially after his Dive attack.
    • Occasionally jumping up to land a single hit, particularly after his Swallow attack.

It’s best to avoid the maggots as much as possible to reduce the damage and trap expenditure. Keep juggling traps and sneaky nail hits until Groal is finally defeated. Once he starts using the Vengeful Toad attack, stay in the water, continue throwing traps, and wait for him to stagger. Afterward, if you’re out of traps, keep persistent until he’s finished.

    The Final Reward

Once victorious, a bench appears in Groal’s arena. But the real reward is on the left of the bench — the Seeker’s Soul. You may not be able to use it immediately, but it’s a key ingredient for unlocking the Silk and Soul Wish and opening the door to Act Three, expanding your journey and story significantly.

  • Physical Edition, Platforms, and Release Dates for Completing and Solving

Physical Edition, Platforms, and Release Dates for Completing and Solving

Just when it seemed like Hollow Knight: Silksong would be the biggest indie game of 2025, Supergiant announced that Hades 2 will launch fully before the year ends. The release schedule for Hades 2 is a bit more complicated than Silksong’s, with platform exclusivity and a longer wait for its physical edition.

Hades 2 has been playable in early access on PC for over a year. The official 1.0 version is set to launch on September 25, 2025. This date was shared during a Nintendo Direct, revealing that for a limited time, the game will only be available on Nintendo Switch. It might be confusing, but whether you want to jump in early or wait for the full release, here’s everything you need to know before pre-ordering Hades 2.

You can pre-order Hades 2 now for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, or start playing on PC right away. Despite being available early on Steam, the full version will officially launch on September 25. If you buy now, you’ll automatically get the full, finished game through an update on that day. For Switch players, the game will be available on both the original Switch and the upcoming Switch 2 console when it launches. While the Switch 2 version will feature improvements, like the ability to run at 120 frames per second when docked, the game will cost $29.99 on any platform.

Pre-orders for the digital version are open now through various retailers. If you prefer physical copies, the Switch 2 physical edition will be available on November 20, 2025. Fans planning to buy physical copies afterward will be happy to hear there’s no collector’s edition or extra bonuses, but the physical release is noteworthy.

Unlike most third-party Switch games, Hades 2’s physical edition isn’t just a game key card. The entire game will be on the cartridge, which is great for collectors who prefer physical copies. Although Nintendo’s smallest cartridge size is 64 GB and Hades 2’s Switch 2 version is under 10 GB, developers decided to include the whole game on the card—likely the reason it’s more expensive than the digital version.

As for other platforms, Hades 2 will eventually come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and possibly PS4 and Xbox One, but there’s no confirmed release date yet. The physical edition releasing in November might hint at an imminent arrival on other consoles, but since the only physical version available now is for the Switch 2, it’s unlikely it will be ported soon. Most experts expect the PlayStation and Xbox versions to arrive sometime around March 2026.

Fans might wonder if Zagreus, the protagonist from the first game, will appear in Hades 2. He hasn’t been shown yet, but most fans believe he will be included at some point. The main villain in the sequel will be Chronos, the Titan of Time, who Melinoe will have to face in the game.

Although Hades 2 might seem overwhelming at first, it’s friendly to new players. Remember, you can learn at your own pace, and more areas and items will become clear as you progress through the game.

  • What To Do With Pirate Transponders in No Man’s Sky: Solving & Completing

What To Do With Pirate Transponders in No Man’s Sky: Solving & Completing

Much of No Man’s Sky revolves around exploring new worlds and making discoveries, but you’ll often find yourself in fights during your journeys. This is especially common when you’re traveling between planets in your spaceship, where Pirates are likely to attack.

Pirates tend to show up unexpectedly, often catching you at inconvenient moments—like when you’re distracted or investigating a space anomaly. Fortunately, defeating Pirates isn’t too hard, and you’ll gain experience from the battle.

    ### How to Get Pirate Transponders

Pirate Transponders are acquired by destroying Pirate ships. These enemies can usually be taken care of easily, especially if you have support from your Fleet or friends. Sometimes, several Pirates attack at once, but focusing on one enemy at a time generally allows you to handle the situation without too much trouble.

One good way to find Pirates is to accept missions that require you to take out a certain number of them. These missions often guide you to their locations, making it easier to find and fight Pirates rather than searching for them randomly.

    ### What to Do With Pirate Transponders

You can sell Pirate Transponders for Units at Galactic Trade Terminals. Additionally, these items can be exchanged to increase your reputation with the Mercenaries Guild.

Not every Space Station has a Mercenaries Guild, so if you want to redeem your Transponders there, you might need to collect a number of them before finding a proper location.

To locate a system with a Mercenaries Guild, open your Catalogue and Guide, choose any Journey Milestone, then select the Mercenaries Guild faction at the bottom right of your screen. Pick the Pin Medal option to see nearby systems with Mercenaries Guild presence.

  • How To Complete & Use Every Ancestral Art in Hollow Knight: Silksong

How To Complete & Use Every Ancestral Art in Hollow Knight: Silksong

If you’ve played Metroidvania games like Hollow Knight: Silksong, you might already know that while you can explore freely, certain areas are blocked until you have specific abilities. To reach new biomes and continue along the main story, you need to acquire these abilities at designated spots.

In this game, these new abilities that unlock access to previously inaccessible places are called Ancestral Arts. Unlike other skills, these don’t need to be equipped; once you unlock them, you can use them permanently wherever you need.

    ### How to Get and Use Swift Step

Your first Ancestral Art is unlocked after defeating two entire biomes and reaching the Deep Docks. You can find the Swift Step ability by visiting a statue in the upper part of the Deep Docks map. To get there, first go to the right, then take a path upward that leads back to a lava area on the left.

Swift Step lets you run quickly and perform a longer jump during your run. You can also use it midair to dash—though this dash causes you to descend slightly instead of moving straight forward.

    ### How to Get and Use Cling Grip

After beating Moorwing in the Greymoor biome, you’ll enter Haunted Bellhart and then Shellwood. While traversing Shellwood, you’ll face the Sister Splinter boss. After winning, exit to the left and move close to the statue that grants Cling Grip. To reach it, go slightly downward on the left, then use a downward strike on some flowers to climb back up.

Cling Grip allows you to cling to vertical walls, enabling you to climb and reach high places easily, making vertical navigation much smoother.

    ### How to Get and Use Needolin

Once you defeat the Trobbio boss in the Whispering Vaults and return to the Underworks, you’ll be able to access the Cauldron in the lava-filled area filled with enemies and disappearing platforms. After completing this challenging area, you will automatically unlock Needolin.

This ability allows you to perform music anywhere by consuming some of your Silk. You’ll need Needolin to access The Cradle after collecting the three melodies in the Citadel, and it also helps in opening some secret doors in areas like Moss Grotto, characterized by harp symbols and holes that indicate they can be opened with this power.

    ### How to Get and Use Clawline

The Clawline ability is essential in late-game gameplay. To unlock it, first defeat Trobbio, then return to the Underworks area. From there, navigate to the Cauldron—a lava-filled zone with enemies throwing bombs and disappearing platforms. Clearing this area unlocks Clawline.

Clawline allows you to throw your needle with a thread forward and then pull yourself toward it, covering large gaps instantly. You can also attach yourself to suspended rings commonly found in late-game areas, greatly aiding your traversal skills.

    ### How to Get and Use Faydown Cloak

Faydown Cloak is the double jump ability in Silksong, and though it’s not an ancestral art, it’s a vital permanent upgrade. Acquiring it makes late-game fights more manageable and lets you reach new areas. However, earning this ability requires a tough climb.

To obtain Faydown Cloak, enter Mount Fay through The Slab, then ascend to the top using precise parkour. Using Clawline on the floating lifeforms here helps you boost upward and recover Silk after each use, making the climb somewhat easier despite its difficult nature.

  • Achieving Resident: Completing the Hollow Knight: Silksong Challenge

Achieving Resident: Completing the Hollow Knight: Silksong Challenge

Hornet may not want to settle down permanently in Pharloom in Hollow Knight: Silksong, but having a cozy spot to return to during a long journey through dangerous areas can be very helpful. Especially when that place is as charming and comfortable as your own bellhome.

Getting this achievement takes some effort and time, but every kind act you do will come back to reward you ten times. The residents of Bellhart won’t let you leave empty-handed; they’ll make great neighbors in the process.

    How to Unlock the Bellhome

First, you need to find and save Bellhart. This involves defeating Widow and completing the Threadspun Town quest. Once Bellhart is open, keep exploring Pharloom and unlocking new areas, but make sure to check the Wish board regularly. There are three key quests you should complete:

    • Donate 250 Rosaries to start rebuilding the town.
    • Continue exploring Pharloom and complete the two courier quests in Bellhart. Completing these will unlock a courier service that’s very useful for earning Rosaries.

While doing this, you might wonder if Silver Bells and Crawbug Clearing are needed for the town’s restoration. It’s unclear, but if you haven’t seen the Restoration of Bellhart option on the Wishboard after reaching the Citadel, finish the courier quests first and then do those side quests. The Pinmaster’s Oil isn’t necessary for this process.

    Building Your Bellhome

Once Bellhart is open, talk to Pavo. Make sure he has nothing new to say as you expand your map. The construction of your Bellhome will be complete once you find more benches and explore further areas. When finished, talking to Pavo again will give you the Bellhome Key.

Your Bellhome will be located on the third level of the town, above the Pinmaster and Relic Seeker. Use the Bellhome Key to unlock the door and claim the Resident trophy or achievement. At first, it only has a bed for resting, but now you can start decorating.

    How to Decorate the Bellhome

After getting the key, you can buy decorations from Frey at the Bellhart general store. Most are available immediately, except the Spa, which requires two other home upgrades first. Decorations are pretty pricey and don’t provide practical benefits, but they make your home look nice.

Here’s the full list of upgrades and their costs:

    Upgrade Price Description
Desk 380 Rosaries Allows you to read Relics you’ve submitted to the Relic Seeker.
Gleamlights 320 Rosaries Lights up the inside of your home.
Bell Lacquer 520 Rosaries Lets you paint the outside of your Bellhome in your choice of color.
Personal Spa 1,100 Rosaries Adds a second floor with a small hot spring that regenerates Silk and Masks.

Note: The Bell Lacquer painting takes some time to apply. You can watch the progress while exploring, but once it’s finished, the color becomes permanent, so choose wisely.

A bug exists where you might not be able to talk to Frey again after buying a house upgrade. To fix it, leave the area and come back or make Frey sing by using Needolin.

    Decorating Your Bellhome

Most decorations are quick to set up and become available once the cutscene ends. However, the Bell Lacquer will take some time to dry; you can see the progress as you go about your adventures. Once it’s done, the color you chose will be permanent.

    Gathering Money Quickly

The total cost for all Bellhome upgrades is 2,320 Rosaries, which might seem overwhelming. But there’s a way to earn all that in less than 45 minutes without risking any Rosary loss.

This relies on the courier quests you should have done earlier. If Tipp & Pibb’s Courier Service is unlocked in Bellhart, you can start making deliveries, which pay very well.

Sometimes, the Queen’s Egg delivery serves as a special task that doesn’t repeat, so it’s smart to complete those first and grab any Rosaries along the way. For example, we completed the Pilgrim’s Rest run, earning about 239 Rosaries every four minutes, using the Silkshot tool and Pollip Pouch. If Pilgrim’s Rest isn’t available, Bone Bottom is a decent alternative, netting around 128 Rosaries after defeating fishermen along the route.

    To perform the run efficiently:

    1. Clear Greymoor of the scissor bug.
    2. Dash right to reach the room with another scissor bug; defeat him from below if possible.
    3. Use your trap to quickly kill the trident bug and then eliminate the other bug before climbing up.
    4. Use your trap to clear bugs in the pilgrim’s room.
    5. Dash to Far Fields, falling to the right for the first wind sections.
    6. Switch to the left side and gently fall onto the next shortcut.
    7. Drop off the package at Pilgrim’s Rest.
    8. Return through the Bellway, stopping by the target practice room to take out bugs.
    9. Repeat the route as needed.

Doing this run repeatedly is also a good way to stockpile Rosaries for future expenses like the Multibind tool or the Architect’s Supply. Afterward, you can convert your Rosaries into necklaces with Frey at the shop.

This method is fast, safe, and can help you quickly afford all home upgrades without risking your progress.

  • How Long Does It Take to Complete the Main Path of Hollow Knight: Silksong and Solve Its Challenges

How Long Does It Take to Complete the Main Path of Hollow Knight: Silksong and Solve Its Challenges

Hollow Knight: Silksong stands out as one of the most unique games in terms of how long it takes to finish. Its Metroidvania style and numerous optional areas mean you can finish it in just a few hours or spend a lot more time exploring every part in detail.

The game features 28 different biomes, some much smaller than others. However, you don’t need to visit all of these if you want to stick primarily to the main story. Your chosen path can greatly affect how long it takes to complete the game.

    ### How Long Does It Take To Beat The Main Story?

While Hollow Knight: Silksong is the kind of game where many players enjoy exploring beyond the main story, most people just want to enjoy the core experience. For those players, completing the main story — which includes the first two acts — takes roughly 20 to 25 hours.

This estimate can vary a lot depending on your experience with platformers. You might breeze through boss fights with just a few tries or get stuck and spend hours on difficult battles, especially in the later stages. Focusing on only the main path generally makes the game more challenging.

A lot of useful abilities and tools are tucked away behind optional paths, and obtaining them can improve your main story experience significantly.

If you prefer not to do a full completion run but still want to explore freely, expect to spend around 27 to 30 hours to beat the game.

    ### How Long Does It Take To Fully Complete Silksong?

As a game packed with optional content, a completionist run in Silksong can take around 45 to 50 hours, depending on how thorough you want to be. If you look up the missing tools and seek out everything, you might clear the game faster than exploring without guidance.

Here’s what you need to do for a full completion:

    – Unlock the map of every biome
    – Collect all Silk Skills, Tools, and Ancestral Arts
    – Discover every hidden area and retrieve all key items like Spool Fragments and Mask Shards
    – Complete all wishes to unlock a secret third act set in The Abyss
    – Achieve every possible game achievement, including hidden and secret trophies

    ### What Biomes Are on the Main Path of Silksong?

If you’re wondering which biomes you must visit without engaging in optional content, here’s the usual order:

    1. Moss Grotto
    2. The Marrow
    3. Deep Docks
    4. Far Fields
    5. Greymoor
    6. Bellhart and Shellwood
    7. Blasted Steps
    8. Grand Gate (for a short time)
    9. Underworks
    10. Choral Chambers
    11. Cogwork Core, Whispering Vaults, High Halls
    12. The Cradle

After completing Choral Chambers, you’ll need to return to Underworld via Whispering Vaults to acquire Clawline, a crucial skill.

  • Where to Use the Ministry Car Keys in Hell Is Us: Completing & Solving Ideas

Where to Use the Ministry Car Keys in Hell Is Us: Completing & Solving Ideas

There’s a lot happening in Hell Is Us. From a gameplay standpoint, it’s refreshing to play a game that lets you take your time exploring its world and using your own problem-solving skills. The story also pushes boundaries, boldly addressing the harsh realities of war without holding back.

In the Lethe Ministry of Cultural Primacy, also known as the Ministry of Propaganda, you’ll notice the ignorance and cruelty flowing from the highest levels of society. This place also reveals what they’re hoarding and profiting from, keeping it all for themselves.

How To Start The Blackmailed Mystery

The Blackmailed Mystery begins in the Lethe Ministry of Cultural Primacy. You’ll unlock it after you’ve spent enough time exploring the Lethe Library. As you move through the building, you’ll see it’s been taken over by angry protesters who are increasingly disillusioned with the government, especially after the civil war and some extreme ideologies.

In one room, you’ll spot a woman sitting on a chair, with a glowing object on the desk next to her. These are the Keys — Ministry Car. The story behind the car is for you to uncover, but it’s still in the Ministry.

Where To Use The Ministry Car Keys

You enter the Lethe Ministry of Cultural Primacy through the parking lot on the upper floor. However, there’s another floor below with more vehicles. Head down there and find the car in the corner.

Interacting with the car can be tricky. Try facing directly towards the trunk and look for the prompt to use the key. When you finally get it open, you’ll receive two items: the Ecstasy Lymbic Rod – X and a Letter of Confiscation. The letter states that another Lymbic Rod is in the Ministry, specifically in Room 108.

Where To Find The Second Lymbic Rod

You can access the lower levels of the Ministry by dropping through a collapsed section of the floor near the door where Ralst’s assistant is trapped. From there, head to the large office area and locate the door labeled 108.

Inside, you’ll find the next Ecstasy Lymbic Rod – Y. This will be there whether or not you’ve unlocked the Ministry car. But don’t forget, the Blackmailed Mystery isn’t finished yet. You need to use the Lymbic Rods to uncover the hidden treasures they guard.

    Using The Lymbic Rods

These rods have descriptions indicating they should be used in the “doorway of the buried Forges of the earth.” This hint points to the Lymbic Forge, which is a massive dungeon. To progress, head toward the kitchen area where the Lymbic Door is located in the middle of the hall.

Opening this door reveals some valuable rewards: the Terror Glyph, Recoil – Enhanced, the Twin Axes of Rage, and the Bowl of Ash Research Item. After collecting these, you’ll complete the Blackmailed Mystery and have some impressive loot to show for your efforts.

  • How to Completing the Ranch in Palia: A Solving Guide

How to Completing the Ranch in Palia: A Solving Guide

Starting in the vibrant world of Palia involves exploring new cultures and adapting to your surroundings. Connecting with villagers unlocks new career options, rewards, and activities that help you gather resources.

The ranching update introduces fresh ways to spend your time, such as caring for your favorite animals and collecting products from them. It requires some patience and practice, but the results are rewarding. Here’s how to start building strong bonds with your animals, whether they’re small Pekis or large Ormuus.

    Where to Find the Ranch
To access the ranch, Delilah will visit your house and share news about her latest project. She’ll give you access to the Barn Bell, which you can place on your property. Interacting with the bell lets you travel to the ranch, where barns and coops await. Use the stalls there to keep animals and collect their products.

Note: Although the ranch is part of your property, you can’t decorate that area. It functions like a rented space from Delilah.

    How to Care for Animals
Animals need love and attention to thrive. Regularly checking on them and giving pets and snacks throughout the day helps keep their focus and attention meters up, leading to faster production of goods. To interact, approach an animal and use the menu to pet them or feed them from a bowl. Animals will eat crops like corn, tomatoes, and various treats.

Tip: If an animal is not in its stall, check other areas since they tend to wander at times.

All Animals and How to Get Them
There are currently four types of animals available, each with different costs and personalities. As your ranching level increases, more animals become available to raise and gather resources from.

    Animal Product Care Cost
Peki Eggs Focus: Low, Attention: Moderate 1,000 gold
Trufflet Mushrooms Focus: Medium, Attention: Moderate 1,500 gold
Ormuu Milk Focus: High, Attention: High 2,500 gold
Bumbles Honey Focus: Low, Attention: Low 1,200 gold

    Breeding Animals
Animals can be bred at a nursery near the main barn. You need two of the same animal to breed them, and each pair can only breed once before a cooldown starts. Breeding is the best way to get new variants for free and to pass traits from parents to babies. Baby animals stay at the nursery until they mature, as it’s safer. Make sure they have enough attention and food, though they won’t produce any goods until they’re adults.

Extra: If you don’t have two animals to breed, you can adopt new ones at the Ranch Store for a small fee.

Animal Treats and How to Obtain Them
Treats can influence breeding traits and animal happiness. They are available at the Ranch Store and through treat packs. Here are some treats and how to get them:

Treat Description How to Get Price/Cost
Plain Cookie Clears active treat effects Ranching Store 200 gold

Divine Doughnut Reincarnates a venerated animal as a baby, maintaining all traits Legendary Treat Pack

    How to Breed Animals
To breed, visit the nursery near the barn. You need two animals of the same type, which can only breed once before a cooldown. Breeding allows you to pass traits and get new animal variants without cost. Baby animals will stay in the nursery until they grow up. Make sure they have enough attention and food to stay healthy.

Tip: If you lack two animals, you can adopt new ones from the Ranch Store for a small fee.

What to Do With Venerated Animals
When animals are no longer suited for production, you can rehome them, saying goodbye forever and receiving a treat bag that helps raise new animals. For special animals you love, feeding them a Divine Doughnut obtained from a Legendary Treat Pack will reincarnate them as a baby with all their traits intact, giving them a second chance at life.

Note: Keeping too many animals can slow down overall production, so managing your herd is beneficial.

How To Find Jubilana And Solve Her Shop in Silksong

While playing Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’ll frequently encounter new side objectives, known as wishes. These wishes are added to your objective list and often include helpful hints to guide you through completing them. Some wishes are more significant than others in terms of gameplay impact.

The Wandering Merchant wish is particularly important because it not only rewards you but also unlocks a new trader in Songclave called Jubilana. She will offer some high-level items for sale once unlocked.

To start the Wandering Merchant wish and unlock Jubilana, you first need to access the Songclave area. This requires defeating the Last Judge to gain entry to the Citadel in Act Two. However, before reaching the main part of the Choral Chambers, you’ll have to travel through the Underworks.

Once you arrive at the Choral Chambers, go to the far right side and climb upwards to find an open space at the top. There, you’ll see an entrance to the First Shrine. Use your Silk Skills to clear away the silk blocking the entrance and open the shrine, which will turn into the Songclave. Afterward, take the wish from the wishboard outside.

To find Jubilana, head to the bottom parts of the Choral Chambers. Begin at the Choral Chambers bellway located on the bottom right side. Exit to the vertical area on the left, then climb upward. Skip the first exit on your left and take the next one as you go up. Continue moving to the left until you reach another large vertical section.

From there, go directly left and take the first exit—this will lead to a small dead-end room. Defeat the two enemies inside, then speak with Jubilana to complete the wish.

If you don’t find Jubilana immediately, check her sales near the entrance of this vertical area. One of her items is located high up, and it might seem like you need a double jump to reach it. However, you can also lure a flying enemy nearby and use a downward strike to propel yourself upward.

Once freed, Jubilana can be found selling her wares close to the First Shrine in Songclave.
