How To Complete Every Class in Rune Dice and Solve Its Secrets

Rune Dice involves battling enemies by rolling dice. You’re not just any player—you choose a specific class. The available classes are Rogue, Mage, Warrior, Druid, Paladin, Bard, Necromancer, and Archer.

Each class has its unique dice that you can earn during a run. However, you need to unlock these classes first. Two classes are available from the start, and you unlock the others by completing certain challenges.

    How to Unlock Every Class

    • Warrior: Defeat any two bosses. Each run ends with a large boss fight, so just beat two different bosses to unlock this class.

    • Druid: Beat the Blight Druid on hard mode. The Blight Druid is the third boss you encounter on the Nearby Forest map. First, defeat him on normal difficulty to unlock hard mode, then beat him there to unlock the Druid.

    • Paladin: Defeat 20 mini-bosses. During a run, some stops are marked “Miniboss Battle.” Fight and win against 20 minibosses across all runs.

    • Bard: Merge a die that is level eight or higher. Dice get stronger when they hit each other and combine. Creating a die of level eight unlocks the Bard. Some runes can help you reach this, but luck also plays a part.

    • Necromancer: Defeat 50 dark knights. These enemies appear in the Desolate Sands area. They wear black armor. Defeat 50 of them to unlock the Necromancer.

    • Archer: Create a combo of 40 dice in a single throw. This means collecting 40 dice at once, which is difficult. Using runes like the Trigger Rune, along with some luck, can help increase your chances of reaching this goal.

  • All Weapons & How to Complete Them in StarRupture

All Weapons & How to Complete Them in StarRupture

Weaponry is crucial in StarRupture for surviving the spider attacks during your gameplay. When you first arrive in Arcadia-7, you won’t have any weapons, but there are ways to defend yourself until you can unlock some.
Eventually, you’ll gain access to a basic pistol and then more powerful weapons as the enemies grow stronger. Here’s a guide on how to unlock weapons, what’s available, and the best loadouts to consider.

    How to Unlock All Weapons

Your first weapon is the UPP-7 Reaper Pistol, which you unlock by completing the second contract for Griffits Blue Corporation. Your secondary weapon at this stage is grenades, which are unlocked at level 3 with the same company.
These weapons, combined with your harvester, will keep you safe from smaller spiders until you reach the Equipment Upgrade Station — the place where you can purchase new guns and upgrades using War Bonds.
You can unlock the Equipment Upgrade Station by completing the level 4 contract with Griffits Blue Corporation.
War Bonds are earned by completing contracts or found in abandoned stations around Arcadia-7. You also use them to unlock weapon modifications (add-ons) before crafting your gear.

    All Weapons and Add-Ons

In StarRupture, there are four main weapons: a pistol, rifle, shotgun,, and machine gun. Plus, you have your harvester to fend off smaller enemies, but it isn’t effective against large swarms.
Each weapon, aside from the pistol, can be customized with add-ons like magazines, stocks, and sights. These upgrades cost War Bonds and are available at the Equipment Upgrade Station, or you can craft them using Basic Building Materials.

    Weapons

    Weapon Description Cost to Unlock
UPP-7 ‘Reaper’ Pistol Semi-automatic handgun; good for mid-range and close combat Unlocked via Griffits Blue or 2 War Bonds
MAR-9 ‘Phantom’ Modular Assault Rifle Standard assault rifle; ideal for mid-distance fights 200 War Bonds
SLAMS-12 Modular Shotgun Close-range weapon with high recoil 250 War Bonds
M175 ‘Grim’ Infantry Machine Gun Rapid-fire gun; effective for mid to long-range combat 400 War Bonds

    Add-Ons

Weapons come with basic add-ons unlocked initially, but you can upgrade them at the Equipment Upgrade Station. Some of these require War Bonds and are crafted with Basic Building Materials.
    Examples include:

    • Barrel Add-Ons: Short Barrel, Cooled Barrel
    • Magazine Add-Ons: Extended Mag, Piercing Mag
    • Stock Add-Ons: Gyro Stock, Lightweight Stock
    • Sight Add-Ons: CCS Sight, 3X Optic

    Ammo and Crafting

Ammo types are created at the Basic Item Printer:

    • Pistol Ammo: Basic Materials
    • Standard Ammo: Basic Materials + Wolfram Powder
    • Shotgun Ammo: Basic Materials + Calcium Powder
    • Heavy Ammo: Basic Materials + Titanium Rod

Using the right ammo and upgrades wisely can be the difference between surviving and getting overwhelmed.

  • How to Complete All Ten Endings in No, I’m Not A Human

How to Complete All Ten Endings in No, I’m Not A Human

“No, I’m Not a Human” is a game that you can play multiple times, and there’s still a chance you won’t see every ending. There are ten main endings, with some only achievable through specific actions. Because the game features random visitors arriving or being taken away, your efforts to reach a certain ending might be blocked unexpectedly. To help you, we’ve compiled a detailed list of all the endings and the steps to unlock each one, including links to more comprehensive guides for the more complex endings.

As of December 19, 2025, we’ve added information about the new ending, “In the Dark,” introduced in the December 18, 2025 update.

All Ten Endings and How to Unlock Them

There are a total of eleven endings. You’ll need to replay the game multiple times, and luck with visitors will influence which endings are possible.

Note: You can check which endings you’ve unlocked and rewatch their cutscenes from the main menu under the “Collection” option.

    Ending Details
Child of Doom Linked to the Seductive Woman character, this ending requires you to keep her alive after she arrives and to find the baby inside your home after it is born. More details are in this guide.
The End? The game concludes on the 14th day. To unlock this, ensure only humans remain in your home by the 13th day, testing everyone with your visitor symptoms guide. If even one Visitor is present, you’ll get the “No, I’m Not Alone” ending.
No, I’m Not Alone To reach this ending, have at least one Visitor in your home by the 13th day. You can invite or allow a Visitor to stay, or follow our Visitor symptoms guide to identify one.
May Death Cleanse Us of Our Sins During the eighth night, if all three cultists the Cult Leader leaves you with are kept alive until the 11th, this ending is unlocked. Our detailed guide covers how to keep them safe.
Welcome to FEMA Support FEMA early by calling three times, always handing them notices, and being agreeable when they visit. Full instructions are in our guide.
Yes, I’m Alone Simply tell the Pale Man visitor you are alone on any of his visits (nights three, five, nine, or eleven), which automatically unlocks this ending. Even if you’re not alone, telling him so will still trigger it.
Yes, I’m a Murderer Kill enough humans—about three or four to be safe—before the Prophet visits, and this ending will be revealed. You might prefer to accumulate kills and then schedule your deaths accordingly.
Shroom or Doom The secret Mushroom Man visits on the sixth night. Follow his instructions in the basement—pick the mushroom, eat it, click the apple, then the clock—to unlock this ending. A detailed guide is available.
Embrace the Inevitable Following the Prophet’s instructions is key. Let in the cat, avoid testing on the sixth and seventh nights, and dig enough to find the basement tunnel to unlock this ending. Full tips are in our guide.
Wrath of the Vigilante Make the Vigilante believe you are a Visitor on the tenth and twelfth nights by showing him your teeth (or other symptoms like dirty nails or red eyes). Affecting your symptoms by drinking Enerjeka or digging in the basement can help.
In the Dark As of the December 2025 update, this special ending requires you to be alone in your house by the 13th night. The process involves ensuring you have at least one human guest until the 11th night, then inviting a Visitor to cause the remaining human to be killed. Reloading saves is recommended for precision. More guidance is provided here.

Some endings have specific iconography and conditions, often involving particular actions like interactions with characters, specific choices during nights, or managing visitors carefully. Keep in mind that multiple attempts are often needed, and reloading saves is helpful to get the desired outcome.

  • Completing the Drifter in Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective

Completing the Drifter in Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective

The Drifter is one of two new Survivors introduced in the third DLC for Risk of Rain 2, called Alloyed Collective. She returns from Risk of Rain Returns and uses her bag of items to adapt to different situations, pulling out temporary supplies for short bursts of power.

The Drifter has some of the most distinctive abilities in the game, making her a fun character to play. However, you’ll need to unlock her first. Below is a guide on how to complete the challenge called Lost in Transit, which is required to unlock the Drifter.

    ### How to Complete Lost in Transit

To unlock the Drifter, start by reaching Conduit Canyon using an Access Node. These objects are usually found in third-stage maps, especially in the Alloyed Collective map called Iron Alluvium.

The Access Node looks like a blinking red bomb, but it’s not dangerous. Interacting with it will cause a Virtual Portal to appear after you finish the Teleporter Event on the current map.

The Virtual Portal transports you to Conduit Canyon. Here, you need to collect Security Keys to open the door leading to the Teleporter, then defeat the boss called the Alloy Hunter. After defeating the boss, use the Teleporter to be taken to Solutional Haunt.

Solutional Haunt is a boss map where you’ll face Solus Wing. Keep these points in mind during the fight: hit its three weak points for big damage, and avoid or destroy the heat units that appear—standing near cooling units can help you avoid the heatwave effects.

Once you’ve defeated Solus Wing, two doors will open leading to different caves. One contains the TC-280 Drone, but the other is more important. Inside, you’ll find two Solus Coffers, each holding a Prison Matrix. Be sure to open and collect both.

With both Prison Matrices in hand, go back to the main arena and locate the console in front of a locked door. Use one Prison Matrix to open it and access the secret vault inside Solutional Haunt.

In the vault, you’ll find a broken HAN-D model, the Drifter’s Backpack, some chests, and the prison holding the Drifter. Use the second Prison Matrix to unlock her prison, and she will then be added as a playable survivor.

  • How to Unlock Permanent Perks and Solving in CoD: Black Ops 7 Zombies

How to Unlock Permanent Perks and Solving in CoD: Black Ops 7 Zombies

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 reintroduces perks that stay active for the duration of a match. Unlike Black Ops 2, where perks could be carried over between games, in Black Ops 7 perks only last while you’re in the current game. However, if you get downed, you won’t lose these perks, which makes a big difference, especially during the Easter Egg quests. Having quick access to perks like Quick Revive, along with a few self-revive kits, gives you more chances to survive without wasting too many resources.

Unlocking permanent perks is fairly straightforward, though it takes some time. Many legendary rewards are almost always linked to a mystery perk, and if you already have all the perks unlocked, you’ll receive a permanent perk instead. Each mystery perk equals one permanent perk, meaning you’ll need to complete several TEDD Tasks to unlock all of them. Permanent perks stay active even if you get knocked down, but they are lost if the game ends.

Sometimes, multiple mystery perks can appear from a single legendary reward. If not, you’ll need to wait about four to six rounds for a new TEDD Task to spawn if you’re aiming for more permanent perks. These perks are especially helpful for the Easter Egg, as dying during the final boss fight and losing perks can ruin your progress. However, if you’re focusing on completing the main quest, it’s best not to spend too much time trying to gather permanent perks, since it’s smarter to face the boss early and avoid high-round difficulties that come with extra perks.

  • How to Complete Every Character in Absolum and Solve Them

How to Complete Every Character in Absolum and Solve Them

Starting your journey through Talamh in Absolum, you’ll initially have access to two playable characters: Galandra, the dark and serious knight, and Karl, the tough dwarf who loves to fight. While these two are great, they won’t be enough to defeat Azra, the Sun King. To stand a chance, you’ll need to unlock two more characters, Brome and Cider, as soon as possible. Here’s how to do it.

    How to Unlock Cider
Getting Cider is pretty straightforward compared to Brome and can be done in a few playthroughs. You’ll meet Cider after defeating the first mini-boss in the Grandery. It doesn’t matter which route you choose, because Cider will appear to speak with you in the safe zone after either boss. They will identify themselves as someone who knows you.

After your first encounter, Cider will show up again at the start of your next run but will quickly vanish. You’ll see Cider once more when you reach the forest near the Underking’s castle. Helping Cider during this battle will lead them to head to the Sanctuary, where they’ll be available to use in future runs. Cider is the most challenging character to learn, but they have the best grapple move in the game, which is linked to their special attack. Their skills tend to be more situational but highly useful once you’ve earned some Inspirations, making playing as Cider a real treat.

    How to Unlock Brome
To unlock Brome, you need to reach the second region of Absolum called Jaroba, which means you must defeat the Underking first. Once in Jaroba, the path ahead is quite straightforward. After exploring a few areas, you’ll see a cutscene showing a character being kidnapped.

Defeat the enemies in that room and free Vikhana, the Joyful, from the plant she’s trapped in. She will then give you a mission to rescue Brome and mark his location on your map. Your main task is to follow the path forward and then head north to find Brome. Be prepared, because Jaroba is much tougher than the Grandery, so it may take several tries to reach Brome. Once you locate him in a tunnel marked on your map, he will help you in battle before returning to the Sanctuary. From then on, you’ll be able to play as Brome.

Brome is my favorite character because he’s a powerful wizard who’s good at both long-range and close combat, thanks to his staff and magic. His heavy attack is excellent for deflecting enemy strikes, making him one of the strongest characters in the game.

  • How to Complete EXPcalibur in Dying Light: The Beast to Solve Its Secrets

How to Complete EXPcalibur in Dying Light: The Beast to Solve Its Secrets

If you’ve played a Dying Light game before, you probably know about the EXPcalibur Easter egg, which unlocks a very powerful weapon. It makes a comeback in Dying Light: The Beast.

This time, finding EXPcalibur is a bit more complex. You not only need to locate the sword, but also collect eight Sigils scattered around Castor Woods that are required to unlock it. Let’s get started.

    ### Where to Find Every Sigil

Dying Light: The Beast is full of collectibles. Most are just for decoration, but there’s one set that really matters—Sigils. There are eight of these carved stone markers found throughout Castor Woods. Finding all of them is necessary to unlock EXPcalibur.

    #### Blood Sigil
The Blood Sigil is located in the Mental Asylum area of Castor Woods, which is a high-level zone. You should be at around Level 11 to approach it safely. It’s hidden in the middle of a fountain in the asylum’s garden, attached to the base of the fountain.

    #### Curse Sigil
The Curse Sigil is in the Villa Area, close to the Village Voltage Pole Safe Spot. Inside the park, look for a spooky tree (which is part of a side quest). To the left of this tree, you’ll see a skeleton holding the Curse Sigil in its mouth.

    #### Death Sigil
The Death Sigil can be found in Old Town, just above the Railway Station. Go to the church entrance indicated on the map, then enter and go through the hole to the right. Proceed into the room with a large statue—this is where the Death Sigil is located.

    #### Shadow Sigil
The Shadow Sigil is one of the easiest to miss. It’s located in Exile’s Cave in the Villa Area. Inside the cave, find the NPC standing next to a candle in the middle. The Sigil is on the ground nearby. Using Survivor Sense can help highlight it.

_Note: You encounter Exile’s Cave about halfway through the story, which seems intentional to prevent early access to EXPcalibur._

    #### Sacrifice Sigil
The Sacrifice Sigil is in the National Park, specifically in a Stonehenge-style area that hosts a boss fight later. Climb down to the structure beneath the cliff, then turn around and face the pillar to spot the Sigil stuck to the wall.

    #### The Moon Sigil
The Moon Sigil is in the southern part of the National Park, near the waterfall symbol. Head to the marked spot on the mountain trail, then go through the crack at the top. To the right, next to some trees and a stone partly buried in the ground, you’ll find the Sigil.

    #### The Void Sigil
Close to where The Moon Sigil is located, The Void is behind the waterfall in the National Park. Behind the waterfall, there’s a hidden cave path. Follow it to reach a water body where the Sigil floats at the bottom.

    #### Witch’s Mark Sigil
The last Sigil is also in the southern portion of the National Park, slightly east near the Safe Zone. Look for a small cabin, go inside, and you’ll find the Witch’s Mark Sigil attached to the wall.

    ### How to Collect and Unlock EXPcalibur II

After gathering all Sigils, head to the top of a large rock in the National Park. There’s a path to climb up involving circling the rock and swinging onto branches to reach a higher spot.

Once at the top, the EXPcalibur II is embedded in the ground, marked with eight points around it. Approach each point and hold the action button to place the Sigils. After all are set, a zombie will spawn; dropkick it away, then spend a few minutes pulling the sword free from the ground.

EXPcalibur II in Dying Light: The Beast is an extremely powerful sword. It can only be used once since it’s irreversible. Though it’s a lot of work for a one-time weapon, many players find the journey rewarding and fun.

  • How to Complete All Achievements in The King Is Watching

    Progress Achievements

The game “The King Is Watching” has 22 achievements to unlock, starting from the beginning. Make sure to practice and learn the game’s management systems to earn them all. Completing these challenges earns you Ascension Crystals, which are essential for unlocking the most powerful options. Though tricky, with patience and effort, you can achieve them.

You can see your progress on the Preparation Screen, near the Threat Level indicator at the bottom. If you’ve already completed a challenge, a Crystal will be available there for claiming.

    Achievements List

    Achievement

    Requirement

    Peasant

Win in any biome at any Threat Level (difficulty).

    Militia

Win in any biome at Threat Level 3.

    Swordsman

Win in any biome at Threat Level 5.

    Knight

Win in any biome at Threat Level 8.

    General

Win in any biome at Threat Level 9.

    King

Win in any biome at Threat Level 10.

To unlock these achievements, you must progress through Threat Levels in order: Threat Level 1 first, then 2, and up to 10. Each biome’s Threat Level is tracked separately, so you’ll need to complete each one individually. Once you beat a Threat Level in a biome, you can choose to play on any Threat Level up to your highest beaten one when starting a new run from the Preparation screen.

    Challenge Achievements

The other achievements are tracked in the Challenges section, which you unlock using Town Denarii—green coins earned at the end of each run. When you complete an achievement, you can claim its rewards from the Book of Challenges. This section is also where you unlock King Abilities after defeating bosses with different playable characters.

    Challenge List

    Achievement

    Requirements

    Tips

    No Gaze Upgrades

Win a run without upgrading your Gaze.

Avoid playing as Leonid or Spellus, as they start with smaller Gazes. This includes upgrades earned through event choices.

    No Army Limit Upgrades

Win a run without increasing your army limit.

Make sure your starting limit is fully upgraded with Town Denarii. Keep Barracks well-stocked. Alucard’s abilities can help focus on better units rather than more units.

    No Spells

Win a run without casting any spells.

Play on Threat Level 1 and avoid using Spellus, as his powers involve spells.

    No Castle Damage

Avoid letting your castle take any damage during a run.

Use Prophecies like Slow Zone to keep enemies away, and place ranged units behind walls with durable warriors to defend effectively.

    Deforestation

Destroy all trees on the battlefield during one run.

Use offensive spells that destroy trees from a distance, or play as Spellus and cast Deforestation repeatedly while troops do the fighting. You can also pick Wise Tree as your Councilor and cast Deforestation across the entire map.

    Strength In Numbers

Have 40 units on the battlefield at once.

Use summoning spells and upgrade troop limits. Baldwin’s Raise Militia can summon many peasants if kept alive.

    High Morale

    Reach 100 Morale.

Focus on wood production to build Arenas and Taverns, grouping them for maximum morale boosts. Alucard’s Second Life ability can help produce extra Wine to boost morale.

    Collect Them All

Have at least one unit of every class on the battlefield.

Some units belong to multiple classes. Focus on recruiting different classes: Grunt, Warrior, Ranged, Rider, Flying, Champion, Arcane, and Undead. Alucard finds it easier to gather Undead units.

    Double Damage

Increase any class’s damage bonus to +100% or more.

Choose Troop Training rewards repeatedly to spam attack boosts for your favorite class until you reach the target.

    Self Defense

Eliminate 5,000 enemies across multiple runs.

Keep playing, especially focusing on large enemy groups when choosing Prophecies.

    Ungrounded Executions

Execute 200 of your units over time.

Build an Execution Ground next to a Peasant Hut, cycle recruiting and executing units. Upgrading the guillotine for extra Denarii makes this a good way to earn bonuses.

    Royal Cellar

    Stockpile 2000 Wine.

Have multiple Vineyards and Wineries, preferably upgraded. Alucard’s Second Life ability can help produce considerable Wine. Keep in mind, Wine is used automatically during fights, so you’re racing against your own troops’ thirst.

    First Blood

You’ll get this just by playing the game. The first wave on Village features a Goblin Bandit, easily handled by Peasant Huts.

    Creative Limitations

Win at least once with Wise Tree and Betty as Councilors (not necessarily in the same game).

Betty halts self-resource production but grants extra Denarii. Wise Tree limits resource input but adds resource bonuses when fighting. Use these strategies to win based on their strengths.

    Village Mastery

Defeat each boss in the Village biome at least once.

You need Threat Level 2 or higher to fight Tier 3 bosses. It may take multiple runs to encounter all bosses since each run is random.

    Graveyard Mastery

Defeat each boss in the Graveyard biome at least once.

Similarly, you’ll need at least Threat Level 2. Multiple runs may be required to face all bosses, as bosses are randomized at each Tier.

Playing on Threat Level 0 disables achievements and challenges. Make sure to play at Threat Level 1 or higher to earn rewards.

  • Completing the Occult Crescent Quest in FFXIV

Completing the Occult Crescent Quest in FFXIV

Final Fantasy 14: The Dawntrail Patch 7.25 brings the first chapter of the Occult Crescent, a Field Operation that pairs the Warrior of Light with Ketenramm for his last quest. Together with Ketenramm’s team, they’re off to uncover the mysteries of strange vanishings at sea.

To unravel the enigma, you’ll join an insightful Tonberry named The Archive. You’ll venture through the Occult Crescent, battling foes and learning new Phantom Jobs. Below, we’ll explore everything you need to know about the Occult Crescent Field Operation, focusing on how to level up your Knowledge Level, unlock new Phantom Jobs, and complete story quests.

How to Unlock the Occult Crescent

To unlock the Occult Crescent, begin the quest ‘One Last Hurrah’. Talk to the Expedition Messenger in Tuliyollal (X:17.1, Y:11.8) to start this quest. Make sure you’ve completed the quest ‘Dawntrail’ and reached level 100 as a Disciple of War or Magic.

Continue through the quest chain until you finish ‘Unfamiliar Territory’; this will grant you full access to the South Horn section of the Occult Crescent.

    Basics of the Occult Crescent

The landscape of the South Horn in the Occult Crescent in Final Fantasy 14.

The Occult Crescent introduces new mechanics and currencies. Here are the essential details you should remember.

    Knowledge Level

Instead of traditional experience points, the Occult Crescent introduces a new leveling system called Knowledge Level. As you defeat foes and complete Fates in the Occult Crescent, you’ll gain Knowledge, functioning like experience points. Accumulate enough Knowledge to progress to the next Knowledge Level.

Should you die and return to an Aetheryte after reaching Knowledge Level 5, you will lose a portion of your current Knowledge. To avoid this, it’s best to let another player revive you whenever possible.

Enemies possess Knowledge Levels, indicating their strength relative to yours. Keep this in mind when selecting your challenges.

Fates and Critical Encounters are Knowledge Level-agnostic, meaning you can participate and contribute meaningfully, regardless of your Knowledge Level. The game will scale your level for the current challenge.

    Phantom Jobs

The Phantom Jobs selection menus in Final Fantasy 14.

Another progression feature in the Occult Crescent is Phantom Jobs, with 13 unique Phantom Jobs available, starting with the Phantom Freelancer, which is unlocked by default.

Each Phantom Job has its own unique set of actions in the Occult Crescent, like the Phantom Monk’s Phantom Kick and the Phantom Knight’s Occult Heal.

Your equipped Phantom Job gains Phantom EXP by defeating enemies or finishing events in the Occult Crescent. As a Job levels up, it will unlock new Actions and Traits. Once a Phantom Job reaches the max level of 6, it becomes Mastered.

Every Mastered Job provides a stack of Phantom Mastery, which permanently boosts your damage dealt and healing potency across all Occult Crescent zones, independent of your equipped Phantom Job.

The Phantom Freelancer operates differently than the other Jobs. Instead of gaining Phantom EXP, it levels up for each Mastered Job.

Here’s how to unlock each Phantom Job:

    Phantom Job How to Unlock
Phantom Knight Complete the quest ‘New Job, Old Tricks’
Phantom Monk Complete the quest ‘New Job, Old Tricks’
Phantom Bard Complete the quest ‘New Job, Old Tricks’
Phantom Cannoneer Purchase the Cannoneer’s Soul Shard for 1,000 Enlightenment Silver Pieces from the Expedition Antiquarian.
Phantom Chemist Purchase the Chemist’s Soul Shard for 1,000 Enlightenment Silver Pieces from the Expedition Antiquarian.
Phantom Time Mage Purchase the Time Mage’s Soul Shard for 1,000 Enlightenment Silver Pieces from the Expedition Antiquarian.
Phantom Geomancer Purchase the Geomancer’s Soul Shard for 1,600 Enlightenment Gold Pieces from the Expedition Antiquarian.
Phantom Samurai Purchase the Samurai’s Soul Shard for 1,600 Enlightenment Gold Pieces from the Expedition Antiquarian.
Phantom Thief Purchase the Thief’s Soul Shard for 1,600 Enlightenment Gold Pieces from the Expedition Antiquarian.
Phantom Berserker Drops randomly from the ‘The Unbridled’ Critical Encounter in South Horn.
Phantom Ranger Drops randomly from the ‘The Black Regiment’ Critical Encounter in South Horn.
Phantom Oracle Drops randomly from the ‘On the Hunt’ Critical Encounter in South Horn.

    FATEs and Critical Encounters

In the Occult Crescent, you’ll frequently engage in Fates and Critical Encounters. Fates appear often and involve either taking down groups of enemies or a single boss, featuring relatively simple mechanics. These yield a modest amount of Knowledge, Phantom EXP, and Enlightenment Silver Pieces.

On the other hand, Critical Encounters happen less frequently and will notify you when they spawn. To join one, you need to be within the designated blue area before the CE begins. If you’re not inside, you’ll be unable to participate until it concludes. These encounters provide more Knowledge, Phantom EXP, and Silver Pieces compared to regular Fates.

Treasure Coffers, Magic Pots, and Fortune Carrots

As you navigate the Occult Crescent, you might come across a Bronze or Silver Treasure Coffer, which can be interacted with to reveal loot. Treasure Coffers will appear after completing Fates, Critical Encounters, or by chain-killing enemies. Up to eight Silver and 30 Bronze Treasure Coffers can be active simultaneously.

It’s wise to explore thoroughly after completing several Fates or CEs to collect your Treasure Coffers. The Freelancer’s level 10 ability, Occult Treasuresight, will inform you of how many Coffers are available on the map.

Additionally, you can find Treasure Coffers by leading Magic Pots to them. Magic Pots begin to follow you after completing certain Fates like Persistent Pots or Pleading Pots. This grants you the special action Elixir, which will guide you towards a hidden Treasure Coffer. Safely lead the Magic Pot there to uncover the Treasure Coffer and claim its loot.

Occasionally, when opening a Treasure Coffer, you might also acquire a Fortune Carrot. If used near a discarded carrot on the ground, it will spawn a Gold Coffer, providing 200,000 gil along with rare items like mounts, minions, and emotes.

    Gear and Currencies

Two primary currencies can be earned in the Occult Crescent: Enlightenment Silver Pieces and Enlightenment Gold Pieces. Silver Pieces are mainly obtained through completing Fates and Critical Encounters, while Gold Pieces come from defeating enemies.

Both currencies are used for purchasing various items, including new Phantom Jobs, Materia, Glamour pieces, and the exclusive Arcanaut armor set.

The Arcanaut gear has an item level of 745 and offers exclusive stats while in the Occult Crescent, including the Special Attribute stat, which enhances the effectiveness of your Phantom Job actions. Arcanaut gear can also be upgraded to +1 and eventually +2, further boosting its exclusive Occult Crescent stats.

Finally, the Occult Crescent is linked to Dawntrail’s Relic Weapons: the Phantom Weapons. You can start working on these shortly after unlocking the Occult Crescent. The first tasks involve completing Fates and CEs within South Horn to gather Demiatma.

Numerous quests await you in the Occult Crescent, culminating in the unlocking of the 48-player raid The Forked Tower. Progression in certain quests will require you to gather specific notes in the Occult Record.

  • Unlocking the Steel Path in Warframe: A Complete Guide

Unlocking the Steel Path in Warframe: A Complete Guide

Understanding the Steel Path in Warframe

Warframe is filled with a variety of game modes, offering players an exciting range of mission types, daily challenges, and alerts to keep gameplay fresh. Among these modes, the Steel Path stands out as particularly intriguing, serving as a New Game Plus experience for seasoned veterans of the game.

Initially introduced as "Hard Mode," the Steel Path significantly raises the difficulty level of the Star Chart. It’s designed for endgame players equipped with advanced weapons and Warframes, making completion a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. Here’s a comprehensive overview of the Steel Path mode in Warframe.

    What Is the Steel Path?

The Steel Path is Warframe’s take on New Game Plus. Activated from the Star Chart menu, it transforms the standard Star Chart into a much more difficult version, complete with its own daily missions, Acolyte minibosses, and unique rewards. When playing on Steel Path difficulty, the following modifiers apply:

    • Enemy Level: Increased by +100 (Archwing missions increase by +50)
    • Enemy Health: Boosted by +250%
    • Enemy Shields: Boosted by +250%
    • Enemy Armor: Boosted by +250%
    • Resource Drop Rate: Increased by +100%
    • Mod Drop Rate: Increased by +100%

In addition to these changes, Steel Path missions introduce new minibosses called Acolytes. These enemies are varied versions of the Shadow Stalker, utilizing specific Warframe abilities and weapons. They spawn every five minutes throughout Steel Path missions (with the exception of Archwing missions or Assassinations). Defeating Acolytes rewards players with Weapon Arcane and two Steel Essence, a special currency exclusive to this difficulty.

It’s important to note that Steel Path only affects core Star Chart missions and daily Incursions. The difficulty cannot be toggled for Sorties, Fissures, Syndicate dailies, Nightmare missions, Sanctuary Onslaught, Alerts, or Railjack operations.

Why Engage with the Steel Path?

The Steel Path offers numerous unique endgame rewards, particularly Weapon Arcanes. These Arcanes, dropped by Acolytes, can enhance weapon damage by up to 360%, significantly improving overall damage output. Players can also collect Steel Essence through Acolytes and daily Incursions, which can be traded for various cosmetic items, Arcane Adapters for weapons, and Kuva.

    Unlocking the Steel Path

To access the Steel Path, players must complete every node on the Star Chart, including Dark Sectors, Archwing nodes, and the Zariman Ten-Zero. Once every node is cleared, players should speak with Teshin in a Relay to unlock this challenging difficulty, which can be toggled on from the Star Chart menu.

Note: Railjack, Golem Assassination, and Mutalist Alad V Assassination nodes are exempt from this requirement.

Once Steel Path is activated for the first time, only Earth nodes will be accessible. Players must clear all nodes on a planet and its Junction to unlock additional planets, similar to the standard Star Chart process. If you want to revisit older nodes, you can turn off Steel Path at any time, but Incursion daily missions are unaffected.

    Steel Path Incursions

Steel Path Incursions are daily missions that reward players with five Steel Essence upon completion. This currency is essential for acquiring certain endgame rewards from Teshin. Incursions can occur on any Star Chart node, including Archwing missions, and follow the same format as traditional Steel Path missions. Acolytes can also appear during these missions, allowing for additional Steel Essence gains. Therefore, completing Incursions regularly is crucial for maximizing your Steel Essence collection.

    Steel Path Fissures

Players can also upgrade Void Fissure missions to Steel Path difficulty, applying all associated modifiers while maintaining unchanged relic rewards. Every mission completed will grant one Steel Essence reward, and Acolytes can spawn in these missions, offering more chances to gather Steel Essence.

    Steel Path Circuit

The Duviri Circuit can also be tackled at Steel Path difficulty, replacing standard Warframe rewards with Incarnon Adapters. These powerful attachments can elevate weapons to top-tier effectiveness, significantly changing the gameplay dynamic. For details on Incarnons and their respective impacts, check out the Incarnon Adapters guide.

    Steel Path Rewards

There are two key rewards linked to the Steel Path:

    1. Weapon Arcanes: These enhance primary and secondary weapons, increasing base damage by up to 360% and providing various quality-of-life enhancements.

      • Dropped by defeated Acolytes.
    2. Steel Essence: This is a currency that can be spent in Teshin’s shop.
      • Acquired from defeating Acolytes and through daily Incursions.

    Acolyte Weapon Arcanes

All Acolytes can yield Arcanes such as Merciless, Deadhead, and Dexterity. Each Arcane has primary and secondary variants, totaling six unique Arcanes available. Acolytes are guaranteed to drop an Arcane upon defeat, and collecting 21 of one kind creates an R5 variant.

Tips for Navigating the Steel Path

    • Focus on Incursions: These missions yield the best Steel Essence returns, netting five per completion, which totals to 25 Steel Essence per day.
    • Target Acolytes Wisely: Acolytes have a cap on how many status effects they can endure, making high-damage weapons preferable for taking them down quickly.
      • Heavy attacks on melee weapons can be effective against Acolytes, especially with tanky Warframes.
    • Armor Management: Ensure your loadout includes armor removal capabilities for fights against Grineer. Utilizing Helminth and Focus abilities can be beneficial.
    • Acquire Galvanized Mods: Steel Path and Arbitrations are unlocked together, so focus on farming Arbitrations first to secure powerful Galvanized Mods that enhance your weaponry to effectively tackle Steel Path challenges.

By following these strategies and understanding the intricacies of the Steel Path, players can navigate this challenging aspect of Warframe and reap the rewards that come with it.
