    After completing the introductory tutorial in Marathon, you’ll quickly realize that making progress mainly depends on earning different contracts from various factions. Before you can access these factions, you need to finish an introductory contract for each one.

    One of the first contracts you’ll encounter is Nucaloric. It can be a bit tricky because the locations aren’t marked clearly from a distance. In this contract, your first task is to find an infested building on the Perimeter map and then figure out how to get inside.

    ### Where to Find the Infested Building

    The Nucaloric contract provides a hint that the infested building is located in the Columns area on the Perimeter map. Once you’ve loaded into the map, open your minimap and look for the Columns section on the southern side. You can mark this area to set a waypoint.

    As you approach the Columns area, you’ll see a building just above the word “Columns” on the map. This building has a spider painted on one side, indicating it’s the infested building you’re searching for. Reaching this building completes half of the quest.

    ### How to Enter the Infested Building

    To complete the quest, you need to find a way inside the infested building. Head to the back side of the building, near the cliff. You’ll notice a ladder leading to the roof. Climb up and look to your left to find a vent. Break the vent to drop into the building.

    Once inside, you’ll see several tumors which continuously spawn bugs. It’s best to shoot these tumors quickly to prevent being overwhelmed. In the main room, look for a marker indicating the location of a keycard. Pick up the keycard and use it on the nearby terminal to finish the contract.

    With the 0.4.2 update, players eager to build their Schedule 1 drug empire can now produce and sell psychedelic mushrooms (Shrooms) to their customers. This update adds new drugs, tools, and ways to grow your business, helping you eliminate rival dealers and increase your cash flow.

    Shrooms aren’t available from the start. New players need to grow their influence enough before dealers will offer them the necessary resources. Here are the main ways to get to that level of fame.

    How to Unlock Shrooms

    To start producing Shrooms, you need to unlock the Downtown area on the map. This happens when the influence of the cartels in the region drops enough. To do this, spray-paint sections of the map with spray cans to mark your territory. Carrying the spray can, you’ll see white outlines on walls that you can spray. Tagging areas shows your presence and weakens the cartels’ hold.

    Another effective method is to take out their dealers. Spot someone standing around and see if they’re waiting for someone. If they are, follow them and attack when their dealer arrives. Sometimes, you may find the dealer waiting on their own—deal with them the same way. Keep an eye on a progress bar at the top of your screen; when it shows the influence is decreasing, the Downtown area will unlock.

    Once Downtown is unlocked, be sure to get close to Kevin and Elizabeth. They are key contacts that will help Fungal Phil reach out to you. Phil is the one who will guide you on growing Shrooms.

    Important Note: Spraying paint or taking out rivals can draw police attention if they’re nearby. Make sure the area is clear before doing these actions. Using quieter weapons like bats or machetes can help avoid attracting police.

    How to Grow Shrooms

    After Fungal Phil contacts you via text, he’ll send a list of instructions. These include buying items from Oscar at the Warehouse, setting up a dead drop, and purchasing an AC unit from the hardware store. A spray bottle is also recommended. Pick your site for the setup—once decided, it’s straightforward to start growing your Shrooms.

    First, use the Mushroom Spawn Station to add the Grain Bag and Spore Syringe. Remove the syringe cap, then rotate it with the A and D keys to pierce the grain bag, and click to release the spores.

    Next, place your Mushroom Bed with enough space around it for the AC unit and soil mixture. After that, add the Mushroom Substrate to the bed, then the spores you prepared, pressing repeatedly to break them into smaller pieces. Follow the on-screen prompts to mix everything in the soil. When prompted, fill the spray bottle and water the mixture with the Spacebar.

    Temperature is crucial for growth. The Shrooms need a temperature below 15 degrees Celsius. Place the AC unit near the Mushroom Bed and monitor the temperature overlay; this shows the current conditions for your crop.

    Harvesting and Using Shrooms

    When the Shrooms fully grow, at 100%, use trimmers and press E to harvest them, just like with a weed plant. You can then use a mixing table to craft new products or bag the Shrooms directly to sell through your dealers.

    Extra Tip: Fully grown Shrooms can also be found in sewer tunnels. Turn on your flashlight and check the corners and walls for these hidden resources.

    There is a new Mega Evolution available in Pokemon Legends: Z-A as part of the Mega Dimension DLC. Because of this, many players are interested in finding Chimecho. Luckily, if you’re looking to catch this Pokemon, you won’t have to wait long. Its base form, Chingling, can be found early in the DLC’s story.

    Soon after you meet Ansha and Hoopa, you’ll gain access to Hyperspace Distortions, where most of the special DLC Pokemon are located. Each Distortion Wild Zone is marked with a star rating and Pokémon type, so you’ll need to choose the zones that match the type of Pokémon you’re searching for.

    Where to Get Chingling

    Chingling can be found in one of the first Hyperspace Distortions you encounter in the DLC. At first, you’ll only access 1-star Hyperspace Wild Zones, which become more challenging as your ranking increases. But for Chingling, it’s available in the 1-star Hyperspace Wild Zones.

    Be sure to look for zones designated as Psychic-type Hyperspace Wild Zones for a better chance to find Chingling. If you see a silhouette of Chingling in the zone’s summary, you can use a donut with Ansha to enter the zone and hunt for the Pokémon.

    If you don’t see a Hyperspace Wild Zone with Chingling, you can reset the zones by resting on a bench or sleeping in your bed. Sleeping at Hotel Z is faster since it skips some transition scenes.

    Using a donut that matches the zone’s requirements makes catching Chingling easier. Just watch the timer and bring enough Poke Balls to increase your catch chances.

    How to Get Chimechite

    Chimechite isn’t sold by vendors, nor is it part of the story’s Mega Evolution. Instead, during the main story, you’ll see random Hyperspace Distortions with the message “Unidentified Mega Stone Detected.” These distortions hide one of the new Mega Evolutions.

    Inside, you won’t know which Mega Evolution awaits, but defeating the Mega inside will reward you with its Mega Stone. These are considered Rogue Mega Evolutions—they aren’t story-related and are more like wild encounters. Once defeated, you’ll receive the Mega Stone, which cannot be traded.

    The only way to obtain Chimechite is by defeating these special Mega Evolutions. Once inside the distortion, the Mega Evolution appears alone, and after you defeat it, the Mega Stone is yours.

    How to Evolve Chingling into Mega Chimecho

    Chingling evolves through friendship, not level, and only at night. To increase friendship, take your Chingling to cafes in Lumiose City regularly. After a few visits, your friendship level will rise.

    Once friendship is high enough, when nighttime comes, and Chingling is in your party, you’ll see an evolution arrow over it. The process involves spending time with your Pokémon at cafes until it is ready to evolve.

    Here’s a quick overview of the evolution process:

    • Chingling is a Psychic-type Pokémon.
    • It can evolve into Chimecho through high friendship, but only at night.
    • To get Chimecho, you need to meet the friendship level by caring for Chingling.
    • Once ready to evolve, during nighttime, a special arrow will appear indicating it’s time to evolve.
    • To Mega Evolve Chimecho into Mega Chimecho, you’ll need to use a Chimechite Mega Evolution Stone obtained from Hyperspace Distortions.

    If you’re ready to skip the dimension-hopping and want to add this Ghost-type Pokémon to your team without the hassle, this guide will show you how to find and catch Greavard, and then evolve it into Houndstone without needing any special rituals.

    How to Find and Catch Greavard

    To get Houndstone, you first need Greavard, which appears in the Mega Dimension version of Hyperspace Lumiose — unlocked after finishing the main story. This area is a post-game zone, where different Wild Zones cycle through various Pokémon types, accessed via portals.

    Greavard only shows up in portals dedicated to Ghost-type Pokémon. When browsing portals, look for the Ghost symbol underneath the featured Pokémon images. Greavard’s icon appears as a gray dog silhouette with a candle-shaped head.

    Since the portals rotate based on the time of day, the Ghost zone might not always be available. If it isn’t visible, resting on a park bench to change the time can help. Keep reloading the portals by waiting or resetting until the Ghost-type portal appears, which may take a few tries.

    Once inside, you don’t need to brace for an aggressive battle. Though Pokémon in the Mega Dimension are generally stronger than usual, Greavard is quite calm in this zone. Its docile behavior makes it easier to set up a clean catch.

    Just keep in mind that Greavard’s stats are boosted, so it can take a few hits before it faints. Bring solid Poké Balls and a team that can chip away at its health safely.

    How to Evolve Greavard into Houndstone

    Evolving Greavard into Houndstone has two simple requirements:

    • Level Greavard to level 30.
    • Level up Greavard during the nighttime.

    Reaching level 30 isn’t enough; if Greavard levels up during the day, it won’t evolve. To ensure the evolution triggers, wait until nighttime before using EXP Candies or battling to level it up past 30.

    Once Greavard hits level 30 at night, it will automatically start evolving into Houndstone. No extra items or menu steps are necessary.

    Speranza constantly needs more greenhouses to grow food for the city. Tian Wen is looking for crucial materials to build some of these greenhouses, which are best found in the Buried City. Get your gun ready, pack some bandages, and search the rooftops for what you need.

    How to Find the Rooftop Gardens in Piazza Roma

    To locate the rooftop gardens she mentioned, head to the Piazza Roma area on the west side of the Buried City. The gardens are in the building closest to the southern entrance of Western Station.

    You can either go through the building itself to gather loot first, or climb the yellow ladder at the edge of the upper of two buildings to reach the roof. Once on the rooftop, look for a water pump machine attached to one of the planters, connected by two hoses. Interact with the pump to get a guaranteed Water Pump, which will complete that part of the quest.

    While exploring, remember to also look for lemon trees both inside and outside the city. They look like small, tall trees with thin branches and little lemons, and three lemons are needed for Scrappy’s second upgrade.

    How to Find Fertilizer in Grandioso Apartments

    The other location required for this quest is the Grandioso Apartments, situated at the southwestern edge of the Buried City, just south of Piazza Roma. To get inside, the easiest method is through one of the lower floors’ open windows on the southern side of the building. Move toward the middle of the rooms to find either a staircase or a zipline that leads to the roof.

    Be cautious of Pop Rollers and Fireballs inside the building—they will track your movements even from different floors and can chase you onto the roof. Once you reach the roof, cross the small bridge to the northern side. On the roof’s edge, past two cages, you’ll find two plant pots sitting on a pallet.

    Interact with these pots to collect the fertilizer you need. Afterwards, use the stairs or zipline to descend to the lower floor and exit through the northern end of the building. Make sure to have the fertilizer and water pump in your inventory before leaving, and avoid selling these items.

    Return to Speranza and speak with Tian Wen at her shop. Completing this mission rewards you with experience points, the uncommon IL Toro shotgun, 40 shotgun shells, and a Shotgun Choke II modification.

    What Is The Boombox?

    The Boombox is a one-of-a-kind interactive object found on the Forest map in Megabonk. Unlike other items or objects in the game, its purpose isn’t obvious at first. When you press ‘E’ on it, nothing dramatic happens immediately.

    It doesn’t summon enemies, increase your stats, or change your character’s abilities right away. Its main role is to set a requirement for something else. After finding and activating all the Boomboxes on the map, you unlock the ability to buy a special Shop item—a Boombox. This item lets you manually choose the music that plays during the game.

    Once purchased, you can select the music by clicking through the arrow keys at the bottom of the map selection screen.

    There are three Boomboxes hidden on each Forest map. You need to find and turn on all of them to unlock the Shop item. Their locations change with every game, so you can’t memorize a fixed route. Exploration and quick movement are important. Fast characters like Calcium work especially well for finding all three swiftly.

    When searching, stay aware of your surroundings. Carefully check open spaces and hidden corners to increase your chances of spotting each Boombox.
