Robot vacuums can independently clean floors, but they still require some upkeep. Brushes can gather hair, dustbins need to be emptied, and mops must be washed and dried between uses.
Roborock’s latest Qrevo 2 Pro is designed to simplify some of these tasks. This robot vacuum delivers 25,000Pa of suction power, includes an automatic mop removal feature, anti-tangle brushes, and a versatile docking station that empties its dustbin, refills the water tank, and cleans the mops. The Qrevo 2 Pro will be available in the U.S. starting August 28 for $549.99 during an introductory sale. Its standard retail price is $799.99.
The mop stays behind when it reaches carpeted areas
One standout feature is Auto Mop Removal. When the Qrevo 2 Pro detects it needs to vacuum carpeted flooring, it can leave the mop at the dock and pick it back up afterward. It also offers dedicated carpet modes that boost suction or allow the robot to revisit the same spot in a crisscross pattern for thorough cleaning.

This robot uses a DuoDivide main brush paired with an anti-tangle side brush. Roborock claims the system achieved a 0% hair-tangling rate and a 100% hair removal rate during controlled tests, though actual results can vary depending on your environment. For cleaning edges, a reversible side brush changes direction when entering corners, while the FlexiArm mop can extend to within just 1.85mm of a wall.
The dock handles most maintenance tasks
The included dock takes care of many maintenance duties. It cleans the mop pads, dries them with warm air, automatically empties the dustbin for up to 65 days, and refills the water tank. During mop washing, the internal heater heats up to 75°C, and during drying, the air reaches 45°C.

Roborock has explored some more innovative ideas, such as a mechanical arm on the Saros Z70 and a prototype capable of climbing stairs to clean. While the Qrevo 2 Pro adopts a more traditional design, features like automatic mop removal and a low-maintenance docking station make it a notably convenient choice.
