  • How to Find the Vaultkeeper’s Melody and Solve in Hollow Knight: Silksong

How to Find the Vaultkeeper’s Melody and Solve in Hollow Knight: Silksong

Music plays a major role in Hollow Knight: Silksong. To progress and make it to the top of the Citadel, you need to obtain the Vaultkeeper’s Melody, one of three keys essential for advancement.

While the Conductor might have required strength and the Architect some thinking, the Vaultkeeper test your curiosity. You’ll explore hidden and distant parts of the Citadel’s most secret areas looking for an item only one living bug in Pharloom remembers.

How to Start the Vaultkeeper’s Melody Quest

Once you arrive in the Citadel, the quest begins. At the top, you’ll face the Cogwork Dancers. Defeating them unlocks the exits into the Cogwork Core. Before proceeding, interact with the mechanical device nearby, which will speak to you and ask you to find the melodies needed to open the path to the Cradle. After accepting the quest, head down into the Cogwork Core and Whispering Vaults to begin your search.

Note: The Whispering Vaults can only be accessed from the side of the exits leading to Bilewater, Underworks, and Songclave—they only open from that side.

How to Find the Vaultkeeper’s Melody

Inside the Whispering Vaults, your main goal is to go as far right as possible until you reach a tall vertical chamber where you can descend. You’ll need to push some boxes by hitting them with your Needle and watch out for powerful enemies along the way.

Before hitting your first major stop, take a detour through the third exit on the right (or second if it’s your first visit). In that room, you’ll find a bench and Vaultkeeper Cardinius. The Vaultkeeper can listen to your psalm cylinders—collectible items you should gather—and will be important later. Remember this location.

From the bench, go to the third exit on the left side of the chamber to fight your next boss: Trobbio. This fight takes place in a room marked “The Stage” on your map. The battle is straightforward but flashy. Keep these tips in mind:

    • Use a crest like Reaper, Wanderer, or Witch to pogo off Trobbio’s Tornado.
    • Don’t dash recklessly; walking often works better than sprinting.
    • Stay patient and keep steady movement.
    • Use floor traps and quick-fire projectiles to your advantage.

After defeating Trobbio, you can continue to the right and down the entrance you originally used to arrive. This leads to an elevator taking you down into the Underworks. At the bottom, pull the lever to go up again, then step off the elevator. Be careful of spikes beneath the elevator station—use your Drifter’s Cloak to glide past the spikes safely and prepare to dash over the next set.

Next, navigate northeast through the chamber you enter. Beware of enemies and spikes; opening a shortcut in the top left corner can help if things get tricky. Keep heading north-northeast until you re-enter the Whispering Vaults from below. In this room, rest at the bench near the entrance—there are no mobs or bosses, so it’ll be a good point to prepare.

From there, continue through the vaults until you reach a chamber where you’ll find the Sacred Cylinder on the ground to the left of a bench. You can’t use it right away; instead, return to the central Whispering Vaults bench and talk to the Vaultkeeper. Make sure you choose the dialogue option to play the cylinder. Using your Needolin, memorize the third and most secret melody which is essential for your progress.

  • How to Defeat Bell Eater in Hollow Knight: Silksong – Complete the Challenge

How to Defeat Bell Eater in Hollow Knight: Silksong – Complete the Challenge

If you’ve been playing Hollow Knight: Silksong for a while, you probably noticed how huge the map is. Since some quests require you to travel to distant areas, it could take a long time to explore everything if you didn’t have a quick way to get around. Luckily, the bellways provide a helpful shortcut option.

These bellways get an upgrade once you reach Act Three in the game. This happens after you defeat the Bell Eater boss, which is quite a challenge because it limits your movement a lot.

    How To Reach Bell Eater

Bell Eater is one of the few bosses in Silksong that you can’t miss. However, you need to reach Act Three first by defeating the Grand Mother Silk and trapping her inside a Soul Snare. After doing this, you’ll spawn in The Cradle, where you must descend into Cogwork Core through a specific path.

Once you’re there, head to the Songclave area. From this point, just get to any bellway and call the Bell Beast. This action will cause the Bell Eater to spawn, and you’ll need to go underground to start the fight.

How To Beat The Bell Eater

When you enter the Bell Eater’s lair and move to the right, it will block your way with its body, attacking with its head and tail. Here are the main attacks to watch out for:

    • Slash Attack: The Bell Eater raises its head and takes a step back to wind up. Then it lunges forward with all its tentacle-like limbs, either slashing or striking. To avoid this, stay out of its head’s reach and dodge away. You can also jump and hit downward repeatedly during the attack.

    • Projectile: The boss pulls out its head without warning and spews red projectiles across the area, covering a large space. The best way to dodge is to back away from its head as much as possible.

    • Bomb Attack: It brings out its tail, which then releases two or three bombs that bounce around before exploding in an area. Positioning yourself wisely near the tail can help you dodge the bombs and even land some hits during the attack.

    • Bells Spawn: Before this attack, the ground shakes, and you see the boss’s body move across the field, either along the floor or the ceiling. It then summons large bells that fall, bounce, and drop again. To survive, position yourself carefully so the bells don’t land on you. If you’re caught between falling bells, time your attacks to hit a bell when it’s falling to alter its path. When the boss moves across the floor during this, jump and glide to avoid the bells.

Important Tip: You can’t damage the Bell Eater by hitting its dark parts; only the red head or the pinkish tail are vulnerable.

The biggest challenge in this fight is doing enough damage because the boss parts don’t stay on the field after attacking. You need to attack quickly while dodging its strikes. In the first phase, only one part (head or tail) appears at a time. Once the battlefield enlarges in the second phase, both parts come out at once, making it more difficult to deal damage and avoid projectiles. Using skills like Thread Storm and Silk helps manage this situation effectively.

The boss’s head and tail can sometimes appear in the same spot, allowing you to attack both at once with certain abilities. Combining tools like Cogfly and Pollip Pouch also helps deal consistent damage.

After defeating the Bell Eater, you unlock the Beastling Call Needolin music. This allows you to summon small Bell Beasts that can take you to the last Bellway you visited, although there are some restrictions on where they can summon you.

  • How to Defeat the Unravelled in Hollow Knight: Silksong through Completing and Solving

How to Defeat the Unravelled in Hollow Knight: Silksong through Completing and Solving

After exploring multiple biomes and defeating the Last Judge in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’ll reach the second act, which takes place inside the Citadel. While there are many small biomes throughout this area, there is one hidden zone you can only access after obtaining the White Key.

This secret area is called Whiteward, and it’s where you’ll face The Unravelled boss. Although this boss fight is quite different from ones you’ve encountered so far, it’s very important because it awards one of the three Silk Hearts available in the game.

    How to Reach The Unravelled

Before you can fight The Unravelled, you need to get the White Key in the Songclave part of the Citadel. If you haven’t unlocked Jubilana through The Wandering Merchant yet, you’ll find this key on a corpse at the Citadel’s right edge. There, a large metal cage blocks your path to the right.

If Jubliana is unlocked, you can buy the White Key from her. To access Whiteward, take the exit just left of where the Choral Chambers are marked on your map. Use this key to activate an elevator there. Before descending, go to the right and activate the nearby bench to save your progress.

While in Whiteward, your main goal is to locate a Surgeon key on the right side of this area by reaching a hidden upper section.

    Finding the Surgeon’s Key

When you arrive in Whiteward via the elevator, head all the way to the far left to find a path going upward. Continue moving right along this route until you loop back through the middle, and then go further right through a concealed passage. In this zone, you’ll see enemies crawling around near some furnaces glowing with orange light.

Next, find a way upward. Climb here, and in the gap just above, jump twice toward the light source to enter a hidden corridor. Proceed upward, then break the walls on the left to reach the room containing the Surgeon’s Key. You’ll need to use Clawline to dangle from a small ring in this area, which will open a compartment and reveal a corpse holding the key.

With the Surgeon’s Key, return to the elevator and use it to access a locked door. The key opens this door, revealing the entrance to The Unravelled boss fight. Make sure to activate the bench to the right of the elevator before entering—this will serve as a nearby save point in case you are defeated.

    The Unravelled Phase One

The fight begins with a big enemy that you must defeat regardless of its name. Before the boss fully appears, two waves of smaller mobs will attack: the first with a flying enemy, and the second with both a land and a flying enemy. During the first wave, stay underneath the flying enemy to attack safely without taking damage. For the second wave, quickly take out the land enemy, then repeat the process against the flying threat.

Be careful—if the land enemy isn’t defeated quickly, it will grow longer and start spinning around the arena while targeting you. You can stop this by hitting it when it comes near the ground, which will also push it away from you.

Once past the waves, the first phase of the boss begins. It has mainly two attacks:

Attack Wind-Up & Description Recommended Response
Dash Attack The boss drops its head forward, charges up, then dashes across the arena, hitting anything in its path for double damage. Jump at the start of the charge to dodge it and strike down on the boss’s head afterward. You might even land a hit during the dash.
Projectile The boss extends its stomach, pulls its head back, then launches two (or three) bodies at random spots. The bodies sometimes anticipate your movements. Move away from the boss, jump, and dodge the projectiles. Staying mobile keeps you safe.

The key challenge here is that the boss’s head, which you can attack, doesn’t take damage and can be deceptive in its hitboxes, especially during the dash. Maintain your distance, strike after the boss finishes a dash or throws projectiles, and avoid hitting the lower body where possible.

    The Unravelled Second Phase

After dealing enough damage, the boss gets briefly stunned and retreats underground. This triggers a wave of mobs that you only have to defeat two ground enemies. Once eliminated, the second phase begins, during which the boss positions four spears around the battlefield to attack.

Initially, the spears create a ring on the ground before poking out at different spots. These attacks are straightforward to dodge but will start occurring amidst the boss’s other attacks, demanding constant vigilance.

The spears may also appear mid-battle, sometimes spawning in the middle of the arena and then retracting underground elsewhere. Sometimes, the boss will briefly emerge in the middle of the arena before diving back again. Defeating this boss will reward you with a Silk Heart, which regenerates silk on your spool and allows continuous use of skills like Needolin.

  • Where to Find All Silk Hearts in Hollow Knight: Silksong

Where to Find All Silk Hearts in Hollow Knight: Silksong

As soon as you start playing Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’ll notice your health bar and a spool of silk displayed in the top left corner of your screen. You can restore silk by defeating enemies or collecting silk spools scattered throughout different game areas. With silk, you can heal yourself or activate various abilities and tools.

However, to advance through the endgame, you need a way to passively regenerate silk, and that’s where Silk Hearts come into play. Each Silk Heart allows you to passively regenerate one silk on your spool. There are three Silk Hearts in total in the game world.

    Silk Heart Location One
You’ll find your first Silk Heart early in the game, which will make it easier to use many early abilities, such as Needolin. To get it, you must first earn your initial Silk Skill after completing the Marrow area. Then, return to the Bellway in The Marrow to start your fight against the Bell Beast. Since this is only your second boss encounter, it’s relatively simple to defeat. After the Bell Beast is defeated, an orb will spawn on the battlefield. Interacting with it will transport you to a silk-platform area where you’ll need to climb a few platforms to reach the Silk Heart.

    Silk Heart Location Two
The route to the second Silk Heart is longer. First, you need to reach the Citadel after beating the Last Judge. Then make your way to the top right section called Songclave. If you haven’t activated Songclave yet, you can find the White Key on the top right edge or purchase it from Jubilana if it’s already activated. Use the White Key to enter Whiteward, then find the Surgeon’s Key in the top right area. Next, fight The Unravelled, located to the left of the elevator that brought you down. After defeating The Unravelled, a second orb will appear, allowing you to access the second Silk Heart through a platforming challenge. The journey involves advancing through the Citadel, reaching the top right, and completing a series of platforms to reach the orb and claim the second Silk Heart.

    Silk Heart Location Three
For the final Silk Heart, you need to progress near the end of the second act of Silksong. This involves obtaining three melodies after defeating the Cogwork Dancers boss. Once you have all three, use the giant elevator at the boss’s arena to ascend to The Cradle, where you will encounter Lace for the second time. After defeating Lace, a final orb will appear. Completing the platforming challenge in the Silk area will grant you your last Silk Heart.

  • Where to Find Jubilana in Memorium: Solving Hollow Knight: Silksong

Where to Find Jubilana in Memorium: Solving Hollow Knight: Silksong

There are many ways to discover Hollow Knight: Silksong, and the game hides more secrets than you’d expect. Some secrets appear randomly, while others can be revealed through specific wishes you receive on different wish boards.

One such wish is the Lost Merchant. Not only does this wish add more items for sale in Jubilana’s shop, but it also guides you to a hidden biome you might never find if you weren’t looking for it.

How to get the Lost Merchant wish

Before trying to obtain this wish, you need to progress quite far in the game. First, unlock the Songclave by freeing the bell inside the First Shrine located at the top right of the Choral Chambers. Then, complete The Wandering Merchant wish on the wish board in Songclave to unlock Jubilana.

Once you’ve done that, explore around the Citadel and unlock various biomes—including the Memorium. After gaining enough progress and purchasing several items from Jubilana, you’ll notice a new Wayfarer request called The Lost Merchant in Songclave. At this point, Jubilana will be missing once again.

How to find Jubilana in Memorium

When you accept The Lost Merchant wish, it states Jubilana went to Memorium searching for trinkets. To reach her, you can either use the Ventrica if you’ve unlocked it in Memorium or go through the top left exit from Songclave. Use the Faydown Cloak in the green biome area above as you get close to fighting the Cogwork Dancers.

In Memorium, start by heading to the bench at the bottom to save your game. From there, exit on the left side and look for the shiny merchant wares above that you can track. You can follow the trail or go back to the bench and move all the way to the right if you’ve unlocked that path.

    Secret path to reach Jubilana

After reaching the right side, you’ll find a hidden corridor. There’s a small part of a wall sticking out of the silk—use your double jump to grab onto it. Proceed to the right through this secret passage until you arrive in a small open area. Here, you’ll face several enemies to free Jubilana and complete the wish.

  • How to Beat the Wailing Mother Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong Using Completing and Solving

How to Beat the Wailing Mother Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong Using Completing and Solving

When you unlock a civilization in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’ll find a wish board that offers various quests. Completing these quests can earn you great rewards. Some quests require defeating certain enemies, while others involve hunting down a specific item or NPC.

One such request is to find and eliminate the Broodmother in The Slab. She is a tough boss, and preparation is essential before you challenge her.

    How to Find Broodmother

Broodmother doesn’t spawn on the map initially. To make her appear, follow these steps:

    1. Activate the Songclave area by freeing the bell in the First Shrine at the top right of Choral Chambers.
    2. Explore The Slab, accessible from the bottom left of Choral Chambers. To fully explore this biome, find the key of Apostate above Bilewater.
    3. After obtaining The Slab’s map and exploring it, go back to the Songclave to see The Wailing Mother quest on the wishboard.

Tip: It’s best to explore The Slab thoroughly and secure all three keys there before attempting the quest.

Once you accept the wish, head to the bench in the middle of The Slab, which is slightly to the right. You can reach it via the Bellway and climb up, or enter from Choral Chambers. Exit the room with the bench on the left and climb a bit to find clues pointing toward Broodmother’s location.

Follow the aura to the top left of The Slab, where you’ll find another bench. Sit there to save your progress, then proceed left into a cave entrance. Going through this cave will lead you to a final battle with Broodmother.

    How to Beat Broodmother

Broodmother’s fight is unique because she has an attack that can immobilize Hornet temporarily. You’ll need to take on three waves of enemies first:

    • The first wave involves four enemies that explode after defeat, which is straightforward.
    • The second and third waves spawn mobs from The Slab along with the exploding enemies.
    • To succeed, avoid taking damage more than once during these initial waves.

Tip: Focus on destroying the exploding enemies first to make the wave easier.

After surviving the waves, Broodmother appears and begins launching attacks immediately. Her attack set includes:

Attack Wind-Up & Description Recommended Counters
Dash Attack She waves her arms to warn you, then dashes across the area, often multiple times. Dodge to the wall on the opposite side and stay high. Jump on her as she dashes by, then strike downward. Repeat by moving to the other side.
Mob Spawn She pulls in her stomach to charge up, then spawns a single-hit exploding mob. Focus on defeating the mob quickly before it moves away.
Immobilize She pulls back, exposing her stomach, and throws goop on the ground, immobilizing Hornet if hit. Climb the opposite wall to avoid the attack, which also helps dodge her dash attack afterward.
Slam Attack She pulls herself to the ceiling and then slams the ground and ceiling alternately while moving across the battlefield. Dodge by moving near her slam site just before the attack and dash through as she slams down.

Tip: Upgrading your needle three times before the fight will help make the battle easier.

The boss arena is small, limiting movement. The fight has two phases: the second begins after she loses 40% of her health and adds the Slam Attack to her arsenal.

The key to winning is to land hits during her dash attack, as she leaves little time between her dash and recovery. Tools like the Pollip Pouch and Cogfly are highly effective, as they continuously damage her during combat.

After defeating Broodmother, complete the quest by returning her eye to the Songclave. Doing so grants you a large number of Rosaries.

  • How to Defeat Father of the Flame in Hollow Knight: Silksong and Completing the Challenge

How to Defeat Father of the Flame in Hollow Knight: Silksong and Completing the Challenge

The world of Hollow Knight: Silksong features many bosses, some appearing multiple times. While defeating some of these bosses is necessary to finish the game, others are only visible on optional routes that players may never explore.

One such optional boss is the Father Of The Flame, which can only be encountered in the Wisp Thicket biome. This fight is relatively simple, but it can be quite challenging if you’re not familiar with your abilities.

Where to Find Father Of The Flame

To face Father Of The Flame, you need to unlock the Wisp Thicket biome, accessible from the upper left side of Greymoor. It’s recommended to have the Faydown Cloak ability before visiting, as it makes movement and the fight much easier.

Once in Wisp Thicket, head right to find a bench, then move all the way to the left. There, you’ll find a small section shaded similarly to Bellhart. This is where the boss fight occurs. When you step into the room, the entrance behind you will lock, forcing you into the battle.

How to Beat Father Of The Flame

Compared to other bosses, this fight is straightforward since it primarily involves one or two attacks depending on the phase. In the first phase, the boss summons flames that circle around briefly before locking onto your position and rushing toward you, dealing damage.

During this phase, four flame parts will appear on the boss’s hands. You must destroy all four to progress to the next phase. The flames move fast, especially when you’re airborne, making avoidance challenging.

This is where the Faydown Cloak is very helpful because it allows you to jump once more after each attack. Using downward strikes on the red mushrooms located in the battlefield is effective. It’s best to position yourself above each flame before striking, as attacking from above makes it easier to hit them accurately. Removing the higher flames also causes the dangling mushrooms on those branches to disappear.

Getting hit by a flame instantly doubles the damage you take. Additionally, hitting the boss doesn’t restore your Silk, so healing is limited. You can dodge the flames based on their positioning:

    • When a flame prepares to strike above your position (it changes shape from a butterfly to a proper flame), use the Faydown Cloak to jump away as it approaches.
    • If a flame is below you, aim down and dash downward to dodge it effectively.

A useful tool here is the Magma Bell, which can be purchased from the vendor in Deep Docks; it can help in controlling flames.

    Phase Two and Beyond

After destroying the four branch flames, the boss’s core becomes vulnerable, allowing you to deal damage. However, the boss will then unleash a new attack, igniting for a moment before releasing flames in all directions rapidly.

During this attack, it’s best to stay on the ground, avoid corners, and stay near the center to dodge the flames using your abilities. When the attack ends, hop onto the mushrooms and perform downward strikes on the core while avoiding flameballs.

Once defeated, the Father Of The Flame rewards you with the Wispfire Lantern tool. After victory, all red-hooded enemies in Wisp Thicket explode if you get close, and they will not reappear even if you rest at a bench, though the flame vessels will remain.

  • How to Defeat Raging Conchfly in Hollow Knight: Silksong Completing & Solving

How to Defeat Raging Conchfly in Hollow Knight: Silksong Completing & Solving

As you go through the different biomes in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you’ll often come across bosses that seem easy the first time. However, there’s a chance you’ll face a tougher version of these bosses later on. The Great Conchflies are one such example.

You can find the second version of this boss in the Sands of Karak area, called the Raging Conchfly. While this fight features only one Conchfly, it’s much more challenging because of its relentless attacks and speed.

    Where to Find Raging Conchfly

Before you can track down the Raging Conchfly, you need to reach the Sands of Karak through a hidden pathway in the Blasted Steps. This becomes accessible after you get the Clawline ability and identify a conch-shaped icon on the map in the top left of the Blasted Steps biome.

From there, you use Clawline on the rings to climb higher toward the top left and enter the Sands of Karak. This area is tougher than Blasted Steps, featuring stronger enemies and platforms that only appear temporarily after hitting an orb on a tree bark.

    Steps to Reach Raging Conchfly:

    • After entering, go through the first large room on the right to reach a central area where you can return to Blasted Steps and unlock the path to the bench near the Bellway.
    • Proceed to the right through another large room, then go up and take the left path. Before advancing further, it’s wise to activate the bench on the far right of Sands of Karak as a save point.
    • Continue through two larger rooms until you find the Raging Conchfly. After defeating it, you can reopen the path downward and use the bench near the Bellway in Blasted Steps as a checkpoint for the fight.

While the Bench in Blasted Steps might seem distant from the boss, it helps you avoid a difficult room during your return.

You’ll encounter the Raging Conchfly blocking your way just before reaching the Coral Tower, and it will fight fiercely.

    Raging Conchfly First Phase Guide

This boss is one of the toughest in the game due to its quick attacks and movement restrictions. It also gains new moves during different phases, with a phase change occurring after about 40% of its health is depleted.

    Initial attacks include:

    • Burrow Attack: The boss spins in a direction beforehand, then comes out of a wall and burrows into another. It quickly dashes toward a spot and burrows into the wall, repeating this several times. To counter, learn the timing of the dash and avoid its path, which allows you to land hits.

    • Projectile Attack: The boss opens its mouth, and a projectile appears before it throws a bouncing Conchcutter at the ground. Dodge by positioning yourself directly under the boss when it opens its mouth to hit or parry the projectile for a chance to counterattack.

Avoid jumping away during projectile attacks, as this will guarantee a hit.

This phase mainly involves these two attacks. Although they seem simple, the rapid succession and the boss’s spinning dash can easily throw you off. The key is to stay patient and use your movement abilities only when necessary. The best moments to strike are during its attack animations, especially right after dodging a burrow or other moves to heal safely.

    Raging Conchfly Second Phase Guide

The second phase begins with a roar and introduces two new attacks, along with more frequent burrow attacks. The boss now can perform multiple burrows in quick succession.

    New attacks include:

    • Roar Attack: The boss roars constantly, summoning minions to perform burrow attacks at different spots. It then uses a horizontal spin attack to move across the field. Dodging requires precise timing—find a safe spot during the minions’ burrows and jump at the right moment to evade the spin.

    • Multi Burrow: When spawning on one side with three minions in front, the boss spawns them to spin horizontally in random order and then moves through the field itself. Using items like the Faydown Cloak helps, allowing you to jump over the minions and avoid their spin moves.

During this phase, patience remains vital. Don’t rush the boss; instead, wait for openings between its attacks. Getting close to the boss after dodging certain moves can let you deal damage, particularly during its roar or after avoiding burrows.

Once you hit the boss enough times, the fight ends, allowing you entry into the Coral Tower, where you gain the Conchcutter tool and a secret bench on the right side.

  • How to Get Through the Mist in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing Challenges

How to Get Through the Mist in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing Challenges

While exploring a biome in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you typically map out the area to see your path and find where to go next. This is true for most biomes, except for one called The Mist.

The Mist is the only biome that changes each time you enter it. It doesn’t have its own map, and every room in this area has multiple exits. To find the right way, you need to follow a specific clue.

    Where to Find The Mist

You can access The Mist mainly from two biomes: Bilewater and Sinner’s Road. Here’s how you can reach it from each:

    • From Sinner’s Road, go up to the top left side of the biome and find a hidden path that leads into Bilewater. This path will eventually bring you to The Mist.
    • If you already entered Bilewater from the right side of Sinner’s Road, you can go around to reach the Bellway in Bilewater. From there, go left past a body to enter The Mist.

As you approach The Mist, you’ll notice some bright flies in the room. These will be your helpful guides throughout the biome.

    How to Beat The Mist

The Mist is filled with fog, making everything around you barely visible. There are also many spike traps that activate when you stand in certain spots. Move slowly and carefully to succeed in this area.

When you first enter The Mist, your main goal is to look for the bright flies you saw before entering. Usually, there are two or three flies in each room. When you play the Needolin for them for a few seconds, they will lead you to the correct exit.

Sometimes, the flies will cross big spikes or obstacles. If that happens, follow the general direction of the spikes—they’ll lead you to an opening. You’ll also find Silk Spools here, which help restore your Silk supply.

To progress, you need to pick the right exit in three rooms to reach the center of The Mist, and then choose the correct route in three more rooms to leave and reach the Exhaust Organ in Bilewater. This organ activates an elevator that takes you down to the Underworks area, just below Whispering Vaults.

    How to Beat Wraiths

The only enemies in The Mist are Wraiths, which are quite challenging. Once a Wraith sees you, it dashes toward your location every few seconds. If it hits you during a dash, you lose two lives and your Silk gets reduced. Avoid getting hit during its dash.

A good way to handle Wraiths is to stand on the ground when they start to scream. Then, press the jump button quickly (not hold it). This move lets you dodge their dash and land a downward strike on them. With two Needle upgrades, you’ll need four hits to defeat each Wraith.

Tip: It’s best to fight only one Wraith at a time. Fighting multiple Wraiths at once makes things much harder.

As you move past the middle of The Mist, the number of Wraiths in the last few rooms will increase significantly. Staying alert and carefully choosing your timing will help you survive.

  • How To Defeat Disgraced Chef Lugoli in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

How To Defeat Disgraced Chef Lugoli in Hollow Knight: Silksong by Completing and Solving

Playing Hollow Knight: Silksong even for a short time quickly shows how challenging the game can be. You may find yourself repeating the same parkour sections or boss fights multiple times before succeeding. However, the main story path is generally easier than the optional routes.

These optional areas are where the game truly tests your skills, and one prime example is the fight against Disgraced Chef Lugoli. You’ll find this boss in the Sinner’s Road zone. Be prepared to move quickly and precisely to defeat it.

Where To Find Disgraced Chef Lugoli

To locate Disgraced Chef Lugoli, start in the Sinner’s Road area, which you access through the top part of Greymoor, just above Halfway Home. You’ll need the Faydown Cloak to reach this boss. Once equipped, enter Sinner’s Road and head to the right until you reach the edge of the area.

In the corner, you’ll see a double jump spot that leads you across the gap to the other side of a door—possibly one you’ve passed by earlier. Open this door and proceed further up on the right side, where a large gong awaits. Hitting this gong will start the boss fight.

It’s wise to use a nearby bench as a save point before you start, since this fight can be tough and defeat is common.

How To Beat Disgraced Chef Lugoli

The fight occurs in two parts. First, you must clear out two normal enemies that spawn and attack together. These enemies approach and swing their blades downward three times in a row. You can easily dodge these attacks by dashing to the side as they prepare to strike.

Once these enemies are defeated, Lugoli drops from the ceiling and enters the battle proper. Its attacks include:

Attack Wind-Up & Description Recommended Counter
Stomp Attack The boss jumps high, then lands with force, spawning four muckmaggots that travel across the arena. Dash out as it lands and then counterattack once it’s above you.
Ground Slam The boss charges its weapon behind and slams it down, creating damage in an area and releasing two muckmaggots in an arc. Dodge closer immediately after the slam to avoid the muckmaggots.
Dash Attack The boss charges its lower body and then dashes forward a long distance. Keep your distance to avoid getting hit.
Underground Attack Starting in the second phase, Lugoli burrows underground and re-emerges, spawning multiple muckmaggots. Stay clear of where it’s coming up to avoid the attack.

The boss has generous gaps between its attacks, giving you time to heal if needed.

    The Muckmaggots Mechanic

A key mechanic in this fight involves the muckmaggots. If hit by their spawn balls, your silk bar gets tainted, preventing you from using the bind ability to heal yourself. To fix this, you’ll need to spend one bind to clear the taint.

To help avoid muckmaggots, you can acquire the Wreath of Purity from the Putrified Ducts area. Additionally, using tools like the Cogfly and Pollip Pouch together can significantly ease this fight by providing extra help.

  • Achieving Resident: Completing the Hollow Knight: Silksong Challenge

Achieving Resident: Completing the Hollow Knight: Silksong Challenge

Hornet may not want to settle down permanently in Pharloom in Hollow Knight: Silksong, but having a cozy spot to return to during a long journey through dangerous areas can be very helpful. Especially when that place is as charming and comfortable as your own bellhome.

Getting this achievement takes some effort and time, but every kind act you do will come back to reward you ten times. The residents of Bellhart won’t let you leave empty-handed; they’ll make great neighbors in the process.

    How to Unlock the Bellhome

First, you need to find and save Bellhart. This involves defeating Widow and completing the Threadspun Town quest. Once Bellhart is open, keep exploring Pharloom and unlocking new areas, but make sure to check the Wish board regularly. There are three key quests you should complete:

    • Donate 250 Rosaries to start rebuilding the town.
    • Continue exploring Pharloom and complete the two courier quests in Bellhart. Completing these will unlock a courier service that’s very useful for earning Rosaries.

While doing this, you might wonder if Silver Bells and Crawbug Clearing are needed for the town’s restoration. It’s unclear, but if you haven’t seen the Restoration of Bellhart option on the Wishboard after reaching the Citadel, finish the courier quests first and then do those side quests. The Pinmaster’s Oil isn’t necessary for this process.

    Building Your Bellhome

Once Bellhart is open, talk to Pavo. Make sure he has nothing new to say as you expand your map. The construction of your Bellhome will be complete once you find more benches and explore further areas. When finished, talking to Pavo again will give you the Bellhome Key.

Your Bellhome will be located on the third level of the town, above the Pinmaster and Relic Seeker. Use the Bellhome Key to unlock the door and claim the Resident trophy or achievement. At first, it only has a bed for resting, but now you can start decorating.

    How to Decorate the Bellhome

After getting the key, you can buy decorations from Frey at the Bellhart general store. Most are available immediately, except the Spa, which requires two other home upgrades first. Decorations are pretty pricey and don’t provide practical benefits, but they make your home look nice.

Here’s the full list of upgrades and their costs:

    Upgrade Price Description
Desk 380 Rosaries Allows you to read Relics you’ve submitted to the Relic Seeker.
Gleamlights 320 Rosaries Lights up the inside of your home.
Bell Lacquer 520 Rosaries Lets you paint the outside of your Bellhome in your choice of color.
Personal Spa 1,100 Rosaries Adds a second floor with a small hot spring that regenerates Silk and Masks.

Note: The Bell Lacquer painting takes some time to apply. You can watch the progress while exploring, but once it’s finished, the color becomes permanent, so choose wisely.

A bug exists where you might not be able to talk to Frey again after buying a house upgrade. To fix it, leave the area and come back or make Frey sing by using Needolin.

    Decorating Your Bellhome

Most decorations are quick to set up and become available once the cutscene ends. However, the Bell Lacquer will take some time to dry; you can see the progress as you go about your adventures. Once it’s done, the color you chose will be permanent.

    Gathering Money Quickly

The total cost for all Bellhome upgrades is 2,320 Rosaries, which might seem overwhelming. But there’s a way to earn all that in less than 45 minutes without risking any Rosary loss.

This relies on the courier quests you should have done earlier. If Tipp & Pibb’s Courier Service is unlocked in Bellhart, you can start making deliveries, which pay very well.

Sometimes, the Queen’s Egg delivery serves as a special task that doesn’t repeat, so it’s smart to complete those first and grab any Rosaries along the way. For example, we completed the Pilgrim’s Rest run, earning about 239 Rosaries every four minutes, using the Silkshot tool and Pollip Pouch. If Pilgrim’s Rest isn’t available, Bone Bottom is a decent alternative, netting around 128 Rosaries after defeating fishermen along the route.

    To perform the run efficiently:

    1. Clear Greymoor of the scissor bug.
    2. Dash right to reach the room with another scissor bug; defeat him from below if possible.
    3. Use your trap to quickly kill the trident bug and then eliminate the other bug before climbing up.
    4. Use your trap to clear bugs in the pilgrim’s room.
    5. Dash to Far Fields, falling to the right for the first wind sections.
    6. Switch to the left side and gently fall onto the next shortcut.
    7. Drop off the package at Pilgrim’s Rest.
    8. Return through the Bellway, stopping by the target practice room to take out bugs.
    9. Repeat the route as needed.

Doing this run repeatedly is also a good way to stockpile Rosaries for future expenses like the Multibind tool or the Architect’s Supply. Afterward, you can convert your Rosaries into necklaces with Frey at the shop.

This method is fast, safe, and can help you quickly afford all home upgrades without risking your progress.

  • How Long Does It Take to Complete the Main Path of Hollow Knight: Silksong and Solve Its Challenges

How Long Does It Take to Complete the Main Path of Hollow Knight: Silksong and Solve Its Challenges

Hollow Knight: Silksong stands out as one of the most unique games in terms of how long it takes to finish. Its Metroidvania style and numerous optional areas mean you can finish it in just a few hours or spend a lot more time exploring every part in detail.

The game features 28 different biomes, some much smaller than others. However, you don’t need to visit all of these if you want to stick primarily to the main story. Your chosen path can greatly affect how long it takes to complete the game.

    ### How Long Does It Take To Beat The Main Story?

While Hollow Knight: Silksong is the kind of game where many players enjoy exploring beyond the main story, most people just want to enjoy the core experience. For those players, completing the main story — which includes the first two acts — takes roughly 20 to 25 hours.

This estimate can vary a lot depending on your experience with platformers. You might breeze through boss fights with just a few tries or get stuck and spend hours on difficult battles, especially in the later stages. Focusing on only the main path generally makes the game more challenging.

A lot of useful abilities and tools are tucked away behind optional paths, and obtaining them can improve your main story experience significantly.

If you prefer not to do a full completion run but still want to explore freely, expect to spend around 27 to 30 hours to beat the game.

    ### How Long Does It Take To Fully Complete Silksong?

As a game packed with optional content, a completionist run in Silksong can take around 45 to 50 hours, depending on how thorough you want to be. If you look up the missing tools and seek out everything, you might clear the game faster than exploring without guidance.

Here’s what you need to do for a full completion:

    – Unlock the map of every biome
    – Collect all Silk Skills, Tools, and Ancestral Arts
    – Discover every hidden area and retrieve all key items like Spool Fragments and Mask Shards
    – Complete all wishes to unlock a secret third act set in The Abyss
    – Achieve every possible game achievement, including hidden and secret trophies

    ### What Biomes Are on the Main Path of Silksong?

If you’re wondering which biomes you must visit without engaging in optional content, here’s the usual order:

    1. Moss Grotto
    2. The Marrow
    3. Deep Docks
    4. Far Fields
    5. Greymoor
    6. Bellhart and Shellwood
    7. Blasted Steps
    8. Grand Gate (for a short time)
    9. Underworks
    10. Choral Chambers
    11. Cogwork Core, Whispering Vaults, High Halls
    12. The Cradle

After completing Choral Chambers, you’ll need to return to Underworld via Whispering Vaults to acquire Clawline, a crucial skill.

  • How to Complete the Sharpdart Ability in Hollow Knight: Silksong

How to Complete the Sharpdart Ability in Hollow Knight: Silksong

The Wormways is a quick, straightforward area that serves as a pause before reaching Shellwood. When you first enter, there isn’t much to do, and later visits are usually just to accomplish a single, brief task. To access the Wormways from Moss Grotto, you’ll need a Simple Key, which can be costly or require traveling a long distance if you choose not to buy it.

It’s highly recommended to have Swift Step equipped here because of the many worms or Gorms falling from the ceilings at a rapid pace. While you could theoretically explore without it, having Swift Step makes navigating much easier.

In this region, you’ll encounter only four types of enemies, most of which are easy to defeat:

    • Gromling
    • Grom
    • Winged Pilgrim Bellbearer
    • Akrid

Gromlings tend to be the most annoying since they often respawn even if you don’t leave the room, popping up from multiple points across the map.

    NPCs in the Wormways include:

    Shakra:
She’s the first major NPC you’ll meet. She sells the map of the area for 70 Rosary. You can find her by progressing from the bottom of the Wormways-Moss Grotto connection, heading toward the northeast room near the northern exit. Look to the left halfway up for a small path leading to her alcove marked by her glowing chakram.

    Alchemist Zylotol:
Accessible once you get Cling Grip. Located in the map’s top section, to reach him, go through the northmost room to the left of the central vertical chamber. Jump up a narrow tunnel to find Zylotol and a bench at the end. Starting his quest allows you to purchase Plasmium to refill your Plasmium Vial for 50 Rosary each time, regardless of Charges remaining.

    Collectible items include:

    • Memory Locket: Found in the southwest room’s bottom right corner, down a shaft near a pit of spikes, on a pilgrim’s body.
    • Dead Bug’s Purse: Located directly above Shakra, in a room north of her location. Proceed northeast through the area, climb a shaft with falling worms, and find it guarded by two enemies on a grave.

    Area progression tips:
Enter via the south or through a Simple Key using the Moss Grotto door. For most, using the key is the natural method. When first exploring, head left immediately upon entering, jumping over spike pits and avoiding falling worms. The third long room is your cue to find an exit at the top, continuing left without needing to explore every corner.

    Important tip:
At this stage, skip the lower passages leading to a Memory Locket unless you have the tools or charms to navigate safely. You can return for it later during the Alchemist’s quest, which is more efficient.

To reach Shakra and get the map:
Progress northeast, drop down in the vertical room to the right, and keep descending platform by platform until you reach a ledge with a long path leading left. The map is at a grave guarded by enemies nearby.
Afterward, head northeast to find the Dead Bug’s Purse, located in a room above Shakra’s spot, accessible by climbing a shaft with falling worms. Continue northeast past falling worms, then left along a ledge to find it on a grave.

    Wish locations:

    • Alchemist’s Assistant:
Complete by collecting three Plasmium: one under Zylotol, one in the east underpassages, and one in the west, all reachable after acquiring Cling Claw. The final is in the west corner.

    • Lost Fleas:
Located in a secret room to the bottom right, past a hidden path. Free the flea by defeating its captor.

    Progression outline with Cling Claw:

    1. Use Cling Claw to find Zylotol at the top.
    2. Collect the Plasmium in the central room beneath him.
    3. Traverse east to find another Plasmium in the bottom-right corner.
    4. In the west room’s bottom-right, find the Memory Locket.
    5. Hunt down the last Plasmium in the bottom-left corner.

Bonus: Seek out the dead Alchemist helper in a secret room to the left of the last Plasmium. Interacting with him and Zylotol with Needolin activates special dialogue.

    Final step:
Once you acquire the Faydown Cloak and can double-jump, return to Weavenest Karn in the west of Wormways. Proceed left, jumping over pits, avoiding enemies, until reaching Herrah’s statue. Here, you will unlock Sharpdart, letting you dash through enemies and gain brief immunity—similar to the Hollow Knight charm, Sharp Shadow.

  • How To Complete Conductor’s Melody in Hollow Knight: Silksong

How To Complete Conductor’s Melody in Hollow Knight: Silksong

Hollow Knight: Silksong features 28 different biomes. Some of these are part of the main storyline, while others are optional and can be missed. Even within the main biomes, some are particularly challenging, especially if you lack certain abilities or tools.

High Halls is one such biome, accessible via the Choral Chambers. In this area, you’ll face tough platforming sections and a challenging fight, which isn’t even a boss but still one of the hardest challenges in the game.

    How to Enter High Halls

To access High Halls, you first need the Clawline ability, which is only available in the Underworks area after defeating Trobbio. Acquiring this ability takes some time, but once you have it, you can go to the top left of the Choral Chambers. If the path isn’t unlocked yet, you can reach it by defeating the Cogwork Dancers boss, then heading left until you find a bench on the edge of the map.

Before entering, you’ll see a ring above a bench that you can Clawline to. Continuing along the rings, some will lift you higher. Follow these rings, and you’ll find the entrance to High Halls on your right.

How to Reach the Conductor’s Melody

Once inside High Halls, you’ll need to navigate a path filled with parkour and enemies. Start by jumping onto the platform on the right using Clawline. Keep doing this until you pass the first room, fighting an enemy along the way.

In the next area, you’ll see rotating mechanisms with Clawline rings. When a ring is at the bottom, jump and Clawline to it to ascend. At the top of the circle, jump and Clawline to either side ring, then use Cling Grip to go further up. After defeating a Minister enemy here, use the left wall to ascend to the top right exit.

The following room is similar to the first, involving continuous Clawlining and a fight with a Maestro enemy. Further up, two Ministers will appear when you hop onto the next platform. Defeating them is part of a challenging sequence that leads to a final room.

In the final segment, you will need to Clawline across spikes while defeating enemies. Falling down to the bottom, you’ll find a bench, the High Halls map, and a Ventrica on your right. Activating the bench allows you to proceed to a large fight—the Conductor’s Melody—after which you’ll find the score.

How to Beat the High Halls Gauntlet Fight

The final challenge in High Halls is intense, consisting of 11 enemy waves. This isn’t a traditional boss fight, but the waves are tough and require strategic planning.

You’ll face various enemies in each wave:

    • Wave 1: Chorister, Reed, Envoy
    • Wave 2: Two Choristors
    • Wave 3: Reed, Choir Bellbearer, Clawmaiden
    • Wave 4: Two Ministers, Clawmaiden
    • Wave 5: Two Maestros
    • Wave 6: Choir Clapper (mini-boss)
    • Wave 7: Reeds, Choir Bellbearer
    • Wave 8: Two Bellbearers, Choristor, Clawmaiden
    • Wave 9: Ministers, Bellbearer
    • Wave 10: Maestro, Reed
    • Wave 11: Two Choir Clappers

The fight extends beyond what might be expected, often going past the sixth wave. Losing at any point resets the fight back to the first wave at the bench on the right. But there’s a way to make it easier—using special tools.

How to Make the Final Fight Easier

The last wave involving large enemies is nearly impossible to handle normally, as they attack constantly and jump relentlessly. To gain an advantage, you can use the Cogfly and Tacks traps, which deal significant damage.

First, acquire the Ascendant’s Grip from the merchant in Songclave once you unlock her. Position yourself in the top corners during the fight, where attacks can’t reach you. Upon reaching wave 10, place all your Tacks on one side and deploy Cogflies. Use the blind spot, along with traps, to damage the enemies and eliminate one miniboss more easily.

    Secret Locations in High Halls

Aside from the main path, there are hidden areas with valuable items:

    • Psalm Cylinder: Found by breaking a wall on the left in the spike area after the Minister fight, then defeating a larger enemy.
    • Hidden Rosaries: Located above in the ring area before descending into the spike zone.
    • Frayed Rosary String: After the spike area, instead of descending, take the left exit to find this item and push it into falling water, then climb up the silk wall.
    • Simple Key Room: Just before the gauntlet, a room with Rosaries, a Pale Rosary Necklace, and the Rosary Cannon.
    • Cogfly Tool: After descending in the spike room, take the left exit of a Minister enemy to find the crafting table for this tool.
    • Spool Fragment: Using the double jump ability, climb to the upper left to find this part.

These secrets add valuable gear and lore to your journey through High Halls.

  • Where To Find And How To Complete The Great Conchflies In Hollow Knight: Silksong

Where To Find And How To Complete The Great Conchflies In Hollow Knight: Silksong

Of all the optional fights in Hollow Knight: Silksong, the Great Conchflies stand out as a boss that would fit well into the first game. They’re fun, fair, and a little silly, making them a nice challenge on the summit of the Blasted Steps. You’re more likely to find them by accident than intentionally.

Even though fighting them is enjoyable, you definitely don’t want to lose. If you do, you’ll have to trek a long way back from the nearest bench—often quite far away. Winning is essential because the reward at stake is worth the effort.

How to Find the Great Conchflies

The conchflies are an optional boss that blocks your way to the nail art called Needle Strike. The nail art is taught by the Pinstress on the far west side of the Blasted Steps map, and the Great Conchflies are waiting in the arena before her.

To get to their arena, climb up the Blasted Steps from the Shellwood area:

    – Head up where possible after entering Shellwood.

    – Use the bench above as a checkpoint.

    – Climb the room west of the bench to enter the central vertical chamber.

    – Exit the chamber at the first left part when you’re halfway up.

    – Jump left across several platforms guarded by smaller conchflies.

It’s a good idea to grab the map from Shakra in the room east of the vertical chamber on your first climb.

How to Defeat the Great Conchflies

The boss fight is simple but requires you to learn just two or possibly three moves. The fight won’t take long to learn once you get the hang of it. To avoid running back and forth between the arena and the bench, it’s best to do these two things:

    1. Study the move table and compare it with a video guide.

    2. Practice dodging projectiles by fighting the smaller conchflies around the area.

The most common attack they use is Pinburrow, where they turn to point their shells at the wall and drill into it. They disappear and reappear somewhere else in the arena, with dust and shell tips showing where they’ll next strike. Timing your dodges to side-step and avoiding corners is key.

They also perform Pin Shot: firing a small conch shell that ricochets off walls up to three times before being destroyed on the fourth hit. You can side-step these shells or hit and destroy them to bounce them back at the conchflies. Usually, the other conchfly won’t appear until after the shot has been fired. The firing conchfly then burrows, and they sometimes perform synchronized Pinburrows within a couple of attack cycles.

The fight is straightforward because the conchflies only have the Pinburrow and Pin Shot attacks, making it easy to understand and counter. Practice and understanding their attack patterns will make it quick to defeat them.

The main challenge is the long run between the arena and the bench, but the fight itself doesn’t have complex phases. To make things easier, review the move table carefully and practice against the smaller conchflies to handle projectiles better.

The most frequent attack is Pinburrow, which can appear on either side of the arena, so stay alert at every wall. When dodging, keep your dashes precise and don’t spend too much time in the air, using jumps only when necessary. Setting traps early in the fight can also help, especially using items like Sting Shard paired with the Pollip Pouch for extra effectiveness.

The other attack is the Pin Shot: a bouncing shell you can side-step or destroy. After firing, one conchfly typically burrows, and both perform synchronized Pinburrows in quick succession.

Keep facing the two flies, defeating at least one to make the boss retreat. There’s no reward for defeating the boss here unless you continue further left in this area to meet the Pinstress for the hidden nail art. Be cautious with the platforming to the left, as it involves strong winds and sand worms that double damage. If your health is low or you’re nervous about platforming, it’s wise to lure some small conchflies to the right to fight for silk before proceeding.

  • How to Find All Three Plasmium by Completing and Solving in Hollow Knight: Silksong

How to Find All Three Plasmium by Completing and Solving in Hollow Knight: Silksong

The Wormways in Hollow Knight: Silksong are not safe places to linger—they are crumbling and filled with danger. However, daring explorers who risk their silk might unlock secrets to longer life by discovering the mysterious substance called plasmium.

If you encounter the Alchemist inside the tight tunnels of the Wormways, he will consider you his assistant in studying this strange material. With the proper tools, you can harvest the blue liquid similar to Lifeblood and gain the power it offers.

How to Start the Alchemist’s Assistant Quest

To talk with the Alchemist and start this quest, you must have unlocked the Wormways. That requires the Simple Key, which you can find in one of two places:

    • Purchased from Pebb for 500 Rosary
    • Dropped by a tough enemy at the top of Sinner’s Road

The first method is usually quicker, but either method works. Once you have the key, use it to open the Wormways door at the top left part of the Mosslands.

Note: If you’ve already reached Sinner’s Road before getting the key, it’s better to cross through Shellwood and enter from the top Wormways entrance instead of wasting the key.

Once inside, the Alchemist is located at the top center of the map. To reach him, you need the Cling Grip ability, which requires defeating Sister Splinter in Shellwood and claiming Cling Grip from the Herrah statue at the top of Shellwood.

    Getting the Cling Grip

If you don’t have Cling Grip yet:

    1. Go to Shellwood
    2. Defeat Sister Splinter
    3. Claim Cling Grip from the Herrah statue

With Cling Grip, you can climb walls to reach the Alchemist.

Tip: It’s best to wait until you’ve saved the residents of Bellhart to get the Needolin ability. This gives you deeper insight into your quest and makes the journey more rewarding.

Inside the Wormways and Finding the Plasmium

Once inside, head to the top middle of the area where the Alchemist is. From there, descend into the main Wormways area, taking a slight left past the falling worms, climbing a small hill, and then floating down toward a blue light to find a hidden alcove containing plasmium.

    There are three plasmium deposits:

    • Two are located at the bottom of the Wormways
    • The third is along the way to the lower depths

Each plasmium looks like a bright blue flower filled with liquid. To collect it, use your trap button and hold it down until the vial charges, then release to absorb the plasmium.

    Where to Find Each Plasmium

    1. First Plasmium
This one is closest to the Alchemist but less obvious. After leaving his room, go down into the main Wormways, then:
    • Take a slight left, drop past the worms
    • Climb a small hill on the left
    • Float down toward a blue light and alcove on the right, where the plasmium is nestled
    1. Second Plasmium
From the Alchemist’s room, go downward through two rooms, staying to the right. Navigate through dark corridors, and when moss appears, head right. Follow the blue light to find the plasmium hidden in moss.

    2. Third Plasmium
From the second deposit, aim for the bottom left. Head up and left, avoiding falling worms, go through a narrow entrance, dash across a room with worms, and descend a wall. Break the false wall on your left to reach the final plasmium, which is tucked into a shadowy alcove at the bottom.

Note: Exploring the area thoroughly is recommended, as a deceased pilgrim with a Memory Locket is hidden here.

    Bonus: Finding the Last Assistant

From the third plasmium, jump across spikes to a ledge. Behind a shadowed breakable wall on the left, you’ll find a large chamber containing the previous assistant of the Alchemist, now overgrown with plasmium or lifeblood—no reward is given, but talking to this assistant unlocks special dialogue with Zylotol.

    Rewards for Completing This Task

Returning the plasmium to Zylotol grants you a new charm: the Plasmium Vial. This trap item, when used, temporarily grants a blue mask of health. It doesn’t consume scrap, holds 20 charges, and can be used up to three times per rest. Although masks disappear when resting at a bench, its utility in tight situations makes it invaluable.

Special Effect: If you have the Pollip Pouch charm equipped, the Plasmium Vial will instead grant a purple mask, which bursts into venom when it expires, damaging nearby enemies—adding a strategic twist to its use.
