  • Hiding from Sniffer in Chapter One of Reanimal: Completing the Challenge

Hiding from Sniffer in Chapter One of Reanimal: Completing the Challenge

In Reanimal, a scary game from Tarsier Studios—the creators of Little Nightmares—you play as two orphaned kids trying to save their friends from mysterious monsters. The story starts with you controlling the male orphan, who is in a small wooden boat. He practices steering and accelerating in open waters, guided by buoy lights, toward a girl orphan floating nearby. Once you rescue her, you continue navigating through narrow rocky passages, using her lantern to look around while steering carefully to avoid damaging naval mines outside an abandoned factory in a forested waterway. After docking on a beach, you control the male orphan and explore the area, finding a key inside suitcases on the beach to open a door leading inside the factory.

You then enter a sewer system, crawling through grates and moving past dark tunnels until reaching the factory’s upper levels. Outside, you witness a shadowy figure closing a garage door—later identified as Sniffer, the first antagonist—who is dangerous and will attack if he catches you. You slip inside the factory, climbing ladders, crossing high platforms, and solving puzzles involving rotating pipes and power boxes. During this exploration, you find collectibles like masks and posters, and encounter another child who warns you to leave. Moving through broken floors and dark rooms, you rescue the female orphan, using teamwork to cross hazardous areas.

Progressing further, you climb a high wall with the mechanic’s help, and encounter a boy who tells you to leave. You then find a missing rail cart wheel by a desk, which you attach to restore the cart. As skin suits—hostile enemies—begin to chase you, you work quickly to escape back outside, pushing the cart along the tracks to leave the factory behind.

Next, you head into the train yard, entering through a crack in the wall near a bathroom where you grab a toilet plunger to retrieve a key. You avoid Sniffer, who is actively hunting you, hiding behind suitcases and crates while carefully moving in crouch mode to stay hidden. Reaching the train, you use levers with your partner to start moving the train out of the yard. Sniffer chases you, forcing a frantic escape by running across bridges and through the environment until you finally get outside with the rail cart wheel.

In the following chapter, “Into the Forest,” you jump down onto the ground and follow a path through woods, using the orphan’s flashlight to see in dark areas. You’re chased again by skin suits, which you outrun by taking alternate routes, including across logs and fences, until you reach a clearing with Sniffer’s ice cream van, which begins chasing you downhill. You and your friend manage to escape by jumping over a ledge, but Sniffer captures your other friend, ending the first chapter of Reanimal.

  • Conceal Your Helmet or Hood in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Conceal Your Helmet or Hood in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

For some time now, the Assassin’s Creed series has allowed players significant freedom in customizing their characters. This feature has been greatly enhanced in the RPG titles and has carried over to Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Although Shadows provides substantial options for personalizing the appearance of Naoe and Yasuke, a few details may be overlooked. One noteworthy aspect is the ability to hide your gear, which can be easily missed during customization.

How to Hide Naoe and Yasuke’s Gear

By default, both Naoe and Yasuke are equipped with some type of headwear once you acquire your first piece of gear. Interestingly, this headwear is removed during cutscenes, offering a glimpse of their appearance without helmets, hoods, or bandanas.

There’s a way to hide this headwear during gameplay as well, although it’s not clearly explained in the game. To remove the gear, simply go to your Inventory menu, select the piece you don’t want visible, and then press R2 on PS5 or RT on Xbox.

You can also hide body armor, but this may look a bit odd for both characters.

After hiding your gear, the chosen items will no longer be visible, allowing you to see Naoe and Yasuke’s faces instead of having them obscured by a large helmet or hood. Just like applying modifications to your weapons or armor after unlocking the Forge, hiding your headwear doesn’t affect your character’s abilities.

Choosing to hide your gear is simply a matter of personal preference. If you want to see Naoe and Yasuke more clearly during play, feel free to do so without worrying about any negative impact.

  • Locating the White Roebuck Hide in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Locating the White Roebuck Hide in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 features a captivating mix of quests, from elaborate, multi-part challenges to quick, light-hearted missions that can even be humorous. Some tasks require Henry to put in a substantial amount of work, tackling complex hurdles, while others provide easier, more fun distractions.

As you progress to the middle of the storyline and unlock the second area, Kuttenberg, the game world significantly expands, giving you double the space to explore and even more characters in need of assistance. One of the first side quests you can embark on in this new region is the White Roebuck quest.

How to Begin the White Roebuck Quest

After wrapping up the Speak of the Devil main quest, head over to Suchdol. Just north of the village, you’ll find Huntsman Dobresk Pecker inside the castle.

Talk to him, and he’ll mention there’s a problem with some nearby poachers. Agree to assist him, and you’ll trigger the White Roebuck quest.

How to Locate the Poachers’ Camp

Your initial task is to find the poachers’ camp, which is located just northwest of Suchdol. Head in that direction and deal with the poachers in whatever way you prefer.

Once you’ve handled them, be sure to loot their bodies and collect the Poacher’s Squirrel Tail as proof of your victory.

How to Find the White Roebuck

After taking care of the poachers, you’ll need to secure the white hide that the Huntsman requested. Look for it inside a chest within a ruined house.

The chest can either be lockpicked or taken from the poacher named Mach.

Once you access the chest, be sure to grab the White Buck’s Hide.

  • Locate Wingdrake Hide in Monster Hunter Wilds: A Guide

Locate Wingdrake Hide in Monster Hunter Wilds: A Guide

Wingdrake Hide is quite essential in Monster Hunter Wilds. It’s a key ingredient for crafting various items, from Insect Glaives to Talismans, making it a valuable resource in the game. Given its significance, you may find yourself gathering this material more frequently than others.

Although Wingdrake Hide is relatively easy to obtain, it only drops from specific monsters in designated areas. There’s also a higher-quality version that can lead to some confusion regarding how to collect it. If you’re having trouble finding Wingdrake Hide, this guide will help you navigate the process.

    How To Acquire Wingdrake Hide

You might encounter Wingdrake Hide early in Monster Hunter Wilds, as the monsters you need to hunt appear in the game’s initial stages.

The two creatures that drop this material are Baunos and Harpios. These are classified as small monsters, making them easier to hunt solo without a party.

You can generally spot Baunos flying around Areas 16 and 17 of the Plains region. On the other hand, Harpios can be found in the Forest or the Oilwell Basin. In the Forest, Harpios don’t have a fixed spot, while they are more commonly seen in Areas 8 and 10 of the Oilwell Basin, unlocked in Chapter 2.

Neither monster is associated with optional quests at Alma’s Quest Counter, so you will need to hunt for them in their natural habitats.

When you find these monsters in the wild, they will be airborne. To bring them down, target one, and a prompt will appear allowing you to pull it down using your slinger. Once it’s grounded, attack it a few times to defeat it and then collect the Wingdrake Hide.

    How To Obtain Wingdrake Hide+

The standard version of Wingdrake Hide is available only in Low Rank, but you can find a higher-tier variant, known as Wingdrake Hide+, in High Rank.

To access the high-rank version, you must have completed Monster Hunter Wilds and reached the end-game content.

Just like before, you will need to hunt either Baunos or Harpios in the same areas: Forest, Basin, or Plains. Defeating these creatures in High Rank will yield the higher-quality hide.

Grounding them is done the same way as in Low Rank. Close the distance to pull the monster down and then attack it.

If you’re in High Rank but still need the basic version of Wingdrake Hide, you can obtain it by going to Alma’s Quest Counter and selecting a monster from the Optional Quest tab that has a rating of 3 Stars or lower.

Just ensure that you pick a monster that can be found in the previously mentioned areas.

For instance, if you select the one-star Doshaguma, your quest will lead you to the Forest, where you can hunt a Harpios.

You don’t have to defeat the main monster you’re hunting. After collecting enough Wingdrake Hide, you can cancel the quest by speaking to Alma and quickly return to camp. The hide will be available in the Transfer Items menu at Base Camp.

Since Wingdrake Hide and Wingdrake Hide+ are used for crafting different items, it’s a good idea to double-check what you’re making. Look for a plus sign on the label to avoid any mishaps in your crafting process.
