Completing the Quest for Moon Cheese in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

After finishing the Stargazing quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure and gaining access to Cloud Island, your gameplay experience will expand. This new area introduces new locations and materials, particularly the round Moon Cheese, which is essential for various recipes.

This guide will explain how to obtain Moon Cheese, which is exclusively found on Cloud Island. We’ll explore the specific spots you need to visit and the most efficient ways to collect this resource each day.

To create recipes that call for Moon Cheese, you must first finish the Stargazing quest. This quest also unlocks Kiki and Lala. Without completing this step, you won’t be able to craft every available recipe.

    Where to Find Moon Cheese

You can find Moon Cheese on Cloud Island, as depicted on the accompanying map. We’ve divided Cloud Island into three sections to make it easier to locate Moon Cheese.

Instead of finding just one Moon Cheese at each spot, you may discover several. An update from April 2025 allows missed items to stack. For example, you can find up to 11 Moon Cheeses daily, but if you skip a day, you can collect 22.

This accumulation lasts for three days, meaning if you haven’t collected any for a while, you could potentially gather up to 33 at once.

Using a Collector Nul to Gather Moon Cheese

If you prefer not to personally gather Moon Cheese, you can send a Collector Nul to do it for you. This type of Nul collects any extras, so if you’ve missed a few days of collection, they can retrieve up to 33 pieces.

This method is beneficial for obtaining all the Moon Cheese, especially if you haven’t yet unlocked all the islands. Instead of waiting for access, utilize a Collector Nul to gather everything you need.

If you’re unsure about what a Collector Nul is, it’s a type of Nul you unlock after completing the Meet the Island Beings quest and the Terra Nul segment. During the Terra Nul quest, you can dress a Nul in a Collector hat, allowing you to task them with gathering one item daily.

The next day, the requested item—Moon Cheese in this case—will be available in a nearby chest. If you choose this collection method, keep in mind that you won’t be able to find any yourself that day.

How to Get Furniture from Crane Craze

A crane is lifting a crate from the water.

All items except the two bathtubs can be earned through the Crane Craze mini-game, which is located in Merry Meadows near the temple. To unlock it, you need to have grown three separate beanstalks.

This might take some time, but if you’re unable to access the area, you can always buy the pieces. If you do choose to play the mini-game, you can opt for easy mode to try and win a piece from the Home Essentials set.

Good news! Each item will be displayed on the crates within the Crane Craze game, so you can easily identify which crate contains a kitchen furniture item.

  • Inviting My Melody’s Grandma to a Cabin in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Inviting My Melody’s Grandma to a Cabin in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, many residents have their families, although they aren’t initially part of the game. As you progress, you’ll have the opportunity to invite visitors to stay in the cabins you repair and decorate, helping to make the island feel more lively. These visitors can even include the family members of your characters!

My Melody has a number of family members who can visit, including her grandmother. In this guide, we will discuss how to create a space for My Melody’s Grandma in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. We will also cover the steps necessary to invite her and make her a permanent resident.

Friendship Requirements for My Melody’s Grandma

To have My Melody’s Grandma visit, you need to raise your friendship level with My Melody to 17. Additionally, you must meet My Sweet Piano. Since My Melody has only 20 friendship levels, you’ll need to be very close to maximum friendship.

Once you’ve met these criteria, My Melody’s Grandma will appear on the Visitor page of the menu. Here, you can also check her travel status; for example, it may indicate that she will arrive in two days.

Setting Up a Cabin for My Melody’s Grandma

To prepare a suitable cabin for My Melody’s Grandma, you must meet the following requirements:

    • 3 Creative items
    • 3 Bakery items
    • 3 pieces of Cottage Furniture
    • The cabin must be located in the Seaside Resort.

Every time My Melody’s Grandma visits, you must have a cabin equipped with these items. Once she becomes a permanent resident, however, you can remove these items. You will also be able to relocate her cabin outside of the Seaside Resort after she becomes permanent.

    Creative Items

There are various Creative items you can use, so you can choose different items if you want. Any candle serves as a Creative item, so you can use three candles to fulfill this requirement.

Plushies can also qualify, but they’re resource-heavy, so consider that before using them.

The easiest way to meet this requirement is to craft three simple candles. When you reach the second friendship level with Wish Me Mell, you’ll unlock the recipe for the White Candle, which you can make at the Crafting Station using five Beeswax and one White Dye Pouch. Just create three of these, and you’re all set!

    Bakery Items

It’s quite simple to fulfill this requirement, as most items you bake in Hello Kitty’s cafe will have this tag. If you’re looking for simplicity, just create three dishes with your most abundant ingredient.

    Cottage Furniture

Finally, you will need three pieces of Cottage Furniture. The only way to get this type of furniture is to craft it using plans provided by My Sweet Piano. As your friendship with her increases, she will share crafting plans.

The simplest item to craft is the Cottage Stool. You can obtain this recipe by reaching the second friendship level with My Sweet Piano, which requires three Woodblocks and ten Wool. Just as with the other item types, you can use the same piece multiple times.

Since the Cottage Furniture set is quite charming, this might be a great opportunity to craft various pieces.

Inviting My Melody’s Grandma to Stay Permanently

To invite My Melody’s Grandma as a permanent resident, you need to complete her daily quests. Each time she visits, you can take on these quests, which will appear in your log alongside other daily tasks.

Completing each quest will raise her star rating. Once it reaches five stars, she will ask to stay permanently! At this stage, you can redecorate her room or relocate her to a different area (outside of the Seaside Resort).

Here are the five possible daily quest objectives from My Melody’s Grandma:

    • Purchase any piece of clothing
    • Craft something that has the Book tag
    • Make Fabric
    • Cook Sugarkelp Cakes
    • Gift My Melody something with the Tropical Tag
  • Completing the Invite for My Melody’s Grandpa in Hello Kitty Island

Completing the Invite for My Melody’s Grandpa in Hello Kitty Island

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you can create cabins throughout the island, welcoming many guests. As you strengthen your friendships and complete tasks for various characters, you’ll unlock the ability to invite even more visitors, some of whom can stay permanently.

One of the special visitors you can eventually invite to the island is My Melody’s Grandpa. The process to bring him in takes some time and requires certain conditions to be met. Let’s go over what you need to do to unlock him and establish a cabin for him. We’ll also cover how to make his stay permanent.

Friendship Requirements for My Melody’s Grandpa

To have My Melody’s Grandpa visit, you must achieve friendship level 18 with My Melody. Additionally, you need to have met at least two other characters in the game.

Once you’ve completed these conditions, he will be available to visit on a rotating schedule every four weeks. It’s a good idea to check the Visitors tab in the menu; this will show you his travel status. For instance, we noted that My Melody’s Grandpa would be arriving in two days when we checked.

How to Set Up a Cabin for My Melody’s Grandpa

My Melody’s Grandpa has a few requirements that you need to fulfill:

    • Have 3 Rocky items
    • Have 3 Volcanic items
    • Have 3 Metal items
    • The cabin must be located in the Seaside Resort.

While My Melody’s Grandpa is visiting, these items must be displayed for him to come. Once he becomes a permanent resident, you can remove them and decorate his cabin however you like. You can also move him to a different location at that time.

    Rocky Items

There’s a wide selection of Rocky items available in the game. To meet the requirements, you can use three pieces of Rustic Furniture. These items can be bought from My Melody’s shop for various amounts of Feathers and Shinies, which are purple hexagons found in Gemstone Mountain.

It’s worth mentioning that the three Rocky items don’t have to be furniture; you can also display fish or critters like the Banded Spelunker or Frondhawk. However, we recommend sticking with Rustic Furniture as it helps fill the space nicely, and you may already have some pieces available.

A simple way to meet the requirement is by placing three Mountain Soundtracks, which require one Mechanism, five Feathers, and five Shinies to craft.

    Volcanic Items

Next, you’ll need to showcase three Volcanic items. Just like with the Rocky items, these don’t necessarily need to be furniture. If you choose furniture, opt for items from the Tropical Furniture set. You can also find these at My Melody’s shop.

The easiest way to fulfill this need is to put down three Volcanic Souvenir Dolls. To make these, you’ll need one Fabric, one Woodblock, and five Obsidian Shards.

    Metal Items

Finally, you have to display three Metal items. There aren’t too many options in this category, but you can find the following items:

    • Ingot
    • Microphone
    • Sounds of Steel
    • Volcanic Guitar

Since you can use multiple of the same item, placing three Ingots is a great choice. While none of these items appear natural in the cabin, you can remove them once My Melody’s Grandpa is a permanent resident.

How to Invite My Melody’s Grandpa as a Permanent Resident

To make My Melody’s Grandpa a permanent resident, you must increase his star rating to five. This can be accomplished by completing daily quests for him.

Whenever he visits, there’s a chance one of the daily quests could be assigned to him. Although it’s not guaranteed if you have other guests, don’t forget to check your daily quests when he’s around. There are five possible quest options with the following objectives:

    • Climb to Icy Peak (simply visit; teleporting to the mailbox works best)
    • Go to Cloud Island
    • Craft Meditations on Resilience
    • Craft a Volcanic Guitar
    • Take a picture at the Caldera

Once his star rating reaches the required level, My Melody’s Grandpa will request to stay. When you agree, you’ll gain the freedom to decorate his cabin as you wish.

  • Discover Lala’s Wand Location in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Discover Lala’s Wand Location in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Once you arrive at Cloud Island in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll get a chance to meet Kiki and Lala, also known as the Little Twin Stars. Although they reside in the stars, they offer quests similar to other characters in the game. One of the quests available from Lala is titled "Icy Recovery."

In this guide, we’ll walk you through completing the "Icy Recovery" quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Your main task is to find Lala’s missing wand, and by doing so, you’ll unlock a new store. We’ll also explore what items you can find in this shop.

    Requirements to Start "Icy Recovery"

To kick off the "Icy Recovery" quest, you’ll first need to reach Cloud Island by completing the Stargazing quest and achieve at least friendship level one with Lala. This is the most basic friendship level, which you can easily attain by giving her one or two gifts.

After leveling up your friendship, speak to Lala to begin the quest. She will ask you to locate her wand, which is lost somewhere at Icy Peak.

    How to Find Lala’s Wand

To locate Lala’s wand, go to the mailbox situated at the top of Icy Peak. Starting from here makes it easier to reach the wand’s location. If you check your map, you’ll spot the wand icon in the lower right corner of Icy Peak, indicating that it’s hidden inside a cave.

From the mailbox, head right, past the area where Kiki and Lala freed Big Challenges. You’ll need to position yourself directly north of the wand icon on the map. Once in position, jump over the rope and allow yourself to fall. Don’t worry about taking damage from the fall; there’s none.

If you’re in the right place, you should land right at the cave entrance. If you miss it, don’t fret! You probably ended up on the layer above; just go left and jump down to reach the entrance.

Inside the cave, you’ll find a pond and a small dock. Walk out on the dock and leap off the end to cross to the other side of the cave. There, you’ll find a small rocky area with the wand waiting for you.

    How to Complete "Icy Recovery"

Now that you’ve found the wand, return to Lala. Handing over the wand will complete the quest, and Lala will use it to restore the Stardust Store.

    What Is the Stardust Store?

The Stardust Store is where you can purchase items using Stardust, which you earn by giving gifts to Kiki and Lala. You can trade your Stardust for Dreamy clothing and a selection of Dreamy furniture items.

In total, you can buy 15 pieces of Dreamy furniture and five Dreamy clothing items. Each item can be bought multiple times, but be aware that the larger furniture pieces require quite a bit of Stardust.

You can steadily increase your Stardust by giving Kiki and Lala three gifts each day.

Below is a list of everything the Stardust Store offers and their respective prices.

    Item Price
Dreamy Beret 50 Stardust; 3 Fabric

  • Chococat’s Trivia Answers in Hello Kitty Island Adventure Revealed!

Chococat’s Trivia Answers in Hello Kitty Island Adventure Revealed!

The Island Champions quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure takes you across the map, engaging you in various tasks while you compete with other characters. Although the activities are light-hearted, you still have a chance to earn a trophy.

The fourth quest in this series is named Chococat’s Tremendous Trivia. Unlike previous quests, this one doesn’t require you to find hidden items; instead, you’ll need to answer a series of questions. This guide will help you successfully complete Chococat’s Tremendous Trivia in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

How to Start Chococat’s Tremendous Trivia

To kick off Chococat’s Tremendous Trivia, you need to finish the earlier quests in the series, which are The Island Champions, Magma Master, and Secret Haunts.

After completing Secret Haunts, you can begin Chococat’s Tremendous Trivia the following day. Although most of the quest occurs in different locations, you will first need to visit the beach at the Seaside Resort and have a chat with Tophat.

Once you’ve spoken to Tophat, head over to the Comedy Club to meet up with the group.

How to Answer Questions in Chococat’s Tremendous Trivia

Once you arrive at the Comedy Club, talk to Tophat again. During the conversation, Chococat will introduce the trivia challenge. After that, you’ll need to answer a few questions.

Keep in mind that you won’t be the only one answering. Some questions will be answered by other characters as well. Below is a list of the questions you’ll face along with their answers.

    Question

    Answer

What fish can you find in the Spooky Swamp?

    All the Bog Clamfish.

What’s the recipe for a Macaron?

    Toasted Almonds, right?

Where can you find Rainbow Ribbiters?

    In the Rainbow Reef!

If you happen to answer a question incorrectly, it seems that won’t affect your gameplay. For example, even if you don’t select “All the Bog Clamfish,” you might still get the answer correct in-game. Thus, this quest is easier than others in the series.

For your own reassurance, try to answer the questions correctly.

    Completing Chococat’s Tremendous Trivia

Once you’ve answered all the quiz questions, the quest will automatically conclude. There’s nothing else for you to do except wait a day until you can start The Final Challenge. This is the last quest in this storyline.

  • Mastering Lava Swimming in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Mastering Lava Swimming in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Lava appears in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, mainly around Mount Hothead. While it’s not widespread across the island, you’ll encounter lava-filled rocky areas occasionally, especially when trying to reach the Caldera.

Instead of accidentally falling into the lava and being returned to where you started, consider acquiring the ability to swim in it! Gaining this skill isn’t easy, but it certainly makes exploring more manageable. In this guide, we’ll discuss how to swim in lava in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

What Skill Allows You to Swim in Lava?

Instead of using a potion to swim in lava, you’ll receive this ability through a companion. When you achieve friendship level 19 with Retsuko, she grants you the Hot Stuff ability, allowing you to swim in lava.

Friendship level 19 is quite a journey, so be sure to give Retsuko gifts every day. Her preferred gift is the Volcanic Guitar, made from two Ingots, two Sparks, and one Mechanism. This recipe can be obtained from Tophat once you reach friendship level four with him.

Upon reaching friendship level 19 with Retsuko, ask her to tag along and you’ll automatically acquire the ability.

Upon reaching friendship level 17 with Retsuko, you’ll unlock a quest entitled Swimming Lessons. Although the title might be misleading, completing this quest isn’t necessary for learning to swim in lava with Retsuko. Nevertheless, we recommend doing it as you’ll earn a cute little swimsuit.

    Why Swim in Lava?

A player running near lava in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

If you lack this ability, falling into lava will send you back to your previous spot on land. Navigating around areas filled with small rocks over a lava pool can be tricky, and it’s especially challenging on the mobile version of the game where precision is key.

When you activate this ability, you can swim in the lava, gliding alongside Retsuko just like you would in water. There’s no time limit; you can explore at your leisure and even capture some photos.

Keep in mind that not all lava is swimmable. Specifically, the lava in the Red Hot Rampage minigame doesn’t allow swimming; falling into this will still return you to your previous location.

In general, swimming in lava is a great way to speed things up. Instead of crossing the lava bridge that moves across the lava from the Caldera, just swim through! This skill also proves useful during challenge courses like Hothead Hot Foot, which is set over lava.

  • Ultimate Guide to Hidden Picture Spots in Hello Kitty Island

Ultimate Guide to Hidden Picture Spots in Hello Kitty Island

Once you’ve met Tophat and Big Challenges in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, a host of new quests and activities will become available. One questline you’ll encounter begins with Island Champions, where you’ll need to find specific items or explore hidden areas.

After you finish the Island Champions quest and Magma Master, you will unlock Secret Haunts. This quest might prove a bit difficult since it doesn’t clearly indicate where you need to go. In this guide, we’ll help you complete Hello Kitty Island Adventure by finding all three photo locations.

    Getting Started with Secret Haunts

To kick off Secret Haunts, you’ll need to wait a day after finishing Magma Master. Each quest in the series requires this one-day wait before you can proceed. After a day has passed, head over to Tophat on the beach to begin Secret Haunts.

After that, everyone will gather at the Spooky Swamp. Just go to the area where everyone is located, which is directly to the left of the Fwishing Well. When you talk to Tophat, a quick conversation will lead to Kuromi explaining the challenge.

Your main goal is to find the places depicted in three pictures that Kuromi will share with you.

    Locations of Secret Haunts Pictures

Kuromi will present you with the first image, and then you’ll need to set off to find it. Below is a summary of each image, its location, and where to stand to complete this step.

If you need to see the picture again, just talk to Kuromi.

    Picture One

The first picture appears somewhat distorted, but it actually shows the right entrance of the graveyard. Thankfully, this spot is close to where you are located. From the front of the Fwishing Well, go left. There, you’ll find a stone fence with a path that forks around a large tree.

This is the tree depicted in the picture from Kuromi. Stand to the right of this tree and take a photo. No need to pose or adjust your angle; just snap a pic and return to Kuromi.

    Picture Two

After chatting with Kuromi, she will show you the second picture. This one might look a bit more complicated, but it’s not too difficult to reach. Starting from the Spooky Swamp mailbox (near the Fwishing Well), head north. After crossing the wooden bridge, you’ll find yourself at a four-way intersection.

Now, continue north on the stone path. Cross the Ghost Tours platform and keep following the path north. When the stone path ends, you should see a large, leafless tree to your northwest.

Stand to the right of this tree and take a picture. This will complete the step, so feel free to head back to Kuromi for the final picture of this quest.

    Picture Three

For the third picture, Kuromi will mention that she saved the hardest for last, but it’s actually pretty straightforward. The photo is clearly taken in the Nature Preserve. Just go there and snap a picture inside the entrance.

Once you’re done, return to Kuromi one last time.

    Completing Secret Haunts

After speaking with everyone, the quest will be completed! You’ll then need to wait another day before starting the next quest titled Chococat’s Tremendous Trivia.

  • Complete Guide to All Golden Chest Locations in Hello Kitty Island

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, there’s a lot to see, but you can’t access every area right away. Some locations require you to meet certain requirements. For instance, you must gather Yellow Power Crystals to enter Spooky Swamp, and to explore Rainbow Reef completely, you need a Snorkel and Flippers.

Your main challenge is actually your limited Stamina. Low Stamina will prevent you from reaching high cliffs or deep underwater spots. To boost your Stamina, you’ll need to find Stamina Apple Slices. This guide will assist you in discovering various Golden Chests that hold these slices.

    All Golden Chest Locations

Golden Chests are hidden throughout Friendship Island and each contains a Stamina Apple Slice.

After you collect five Stamina Apple Slices for the first time, Chococat will offer you the Fantastic Fruit quest and provide you with the crafting recipe for the Stamina Apple. With this recipe, you can craft a Stamina Apple from five Stamina Apple Slices to permanently enhance your stamina.

Besides finding Stamina Apple Slices in Golden Chests, you can also earn them by reaching specific friendship levels with various characters:

    Hello Kitty

Reach friendship level 23 with Hello Kitty.

All Golden Chest Locations In Seaside Resort

There are two Golden Chests to discover in Seaside Resort. The first one is likely already collected, as you go into the puzzle room called Beginner’s Bridge during the ‘Power Up The Gate’ quest. If you missed it, don’t worry.

To locate Beginner’s Bridge, start at Chococat’s crafting bench, move left, and follow the wooden path. When the path forks, go northwest to find the puzzle room entrance. To solve the puzzle, place the golden cube on the purple button, and you will spot the Golden Chest at the end of the room.

The second Golden Chest in Seaside Resort can be found on Hopscotch Island in the northwest. Use fast travel to the mailbox there and climb the hill to your right. Use the log on the hill to reach the highest point where you’ll discover the Golden Chest.

All Golden Chest Locations In Spooky Swamp

There is just one Golden Chest in Spooky Swamp. To find it, fast travel to the Ghost Tour Ride in the northwest. Then, head south and climb the rocky hill. The Golden Chest is located to the right of the large tree at the top.

All Golden Chest Locations In Rainbow Reef

To find the first Golden Chest in Rainbow Reef, you’ll need Flippers. Fast travel to the Moon Island mailbox in Seaside Resort, jump into the ocean to your right, and swim east. After a short swim, you’ll see floating crates, with the Golden Chest sitting on a rock beside them.

For the other Golden Chest in Rainbow Reef, you’ll need the Snorkel. Fast travel to the Kelp Maze location, then swim northwest from there. After a moment, you’ll reach the dock south of Gemstone Mountain. Stop right in front of it and dive underwater. In this deep-sea trench, you’ll find another Golden Chest.

All Golden Chest Locations In Gemstone Mountain

To find the first Golden Chest in Gemstone Mountain, fast travel to the Oasis mailbox. Move southwest and follow the wooden path. After descending a ladder and passing under a rock arch, leave the path and head south directly. Climb the rocky hill to find the Golden Chest at the top.

The second Golden Chest is located in the northeastern part of Gemstone Mountain, near Icy Peak Entrance. Fast travel there, swim across the small pond to the right, and climb the rocky hill to discover the Golden Chest.

For the third Golden Chest, you’ll need a Snorkel, Flippers, and the Mermaid Outfit or additional stamina. Fast travel to Icy Peak Entrance, head southwest, and jump down. Continue upward until you find the entrance to Crystal Caves. In the center of the large lake inside, dive down to discover a hidden puzzle room entrance. The Golden Chest is located to the right of this entrance.

All Golden Chest Locations In Mount Hothead

For the first Golden Chest, you must complete the Enraging Ruins quest to unlock the Upper Ruins Entrance fast travel point. However, if your stamina is high enough, you can bypass the quest and climb to this location instead.

From the fast travel point, head right to a balcony area. Jump onto the rocks just outside the balcony and carefully navigate along them. Next, jump southeast to another similar balcony area.

This second balcony has three distinct doorways. Once you land, proceed south through this area. As you move forward, you’ll soon notice the Golden Chest on your right, waiting to be collected.

To find the second Golden Chest, start the Fire Up The Volcano quest, though you don’t need to finish it. You can also reach this location from the Caldera fast travel point, but keep in mind that you’ll require additional stamina for the journey.

From the Mount Hothead fast travel point, head directly west until you spot a temple entrance marked by a star emblem, with two braziers in front. Once inside, check your map—the target is the largest room in the area, featuring a massive lava lake. Use the minecart when you can and continue on foot.

When you reach the lava lake, head south, but be careful—the stone platforms will sink into the lava if you linger too long. Time your jumps across the platforms carefully. After navigating past the first section, turn left and proceed along the path until you reach the southwest corner of the room, where the Golden Chest is located.

  • Discover Character Locations in Hello Kitty Island Adventure’s Island Champions

Quests play a crucial role in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, whether you’re just starting out or have been exploring the island for a while. From easy tutorial quests at the game’s beginning to more complex quests that open up new areas, there’s nearly limitless content available. One quest you can eventually tackle is Island Champions.

This guide will explain how to complete Island Champions in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. We will go over what you need to start the quest and provide a step-by-step on how to find some hidden characters.

    Requirements To Start Island Champions

The requirements to kick off Island Champions are straightforward, but you first have to finish a couple of preliminary quests. In total, you need to complete two quests:

    • A Challenging Rescue – This quest unlocks Big Challenges and Tophat.
    • A Long Awaited Introduction – This quest unlocks Wish Me Mell.

Completing both quests can be quite challenging, so don’t expect to unlock Island Champions early in the game.

    How To Start Island Champions

Once you’ve fulfilled the prerequisites, you can talk to Tophat and Big Challenges to begin the quest. They will explain that they want to organize a special event for everyone on the island. After your conversation, your next task is to gather Pompompurin, Pekkle, and Wish Me Mell.

This part is fairly easy; just find these characters and chat with them. After talking to all three, return to Tophat. A delightful little ceremony will take place, and then you’ll dive into the first challenge, which is Hide and Seek.

How To Find Everyone In Hide And Seek

In Hide and Seek, you’ll be tasked with locating Badtz-Maru, Keroppi, Hello Kitty, and Pompompurin. These characters will be scattered throughout the Seaside Resort. Although you will see a general area for each character on the map, their exact spots won’t be marked.

Refer to the map for the general locations of each character during Hide and Seek. We’ll also provide a description of each location in the table below.

    Character

    Location

    Badtz-Maru

To the left of Tuxedosam’s Shop.

This position is also to the right of the Puzzle Room.

    Hello Kitty

On the layer directly north of her café.

She’ll be hiding behind a rock, not easily visible.

    Keroppi

Directly left of the unused building.

This spot is right behind the Daily Quest board.

    Pompompurin

Behind and slightly to the right of Chococat’s tent.

    How To Complete Island Champions

After you’ve found everyone, return to Tophat for another chat. More rounds of Hide and Seek will be mentioned, but you don’t need to participate in those; they happen quite quickly. Once the quest concludes, you’ll have to wait a day before starting the next quest in the series, called Magma Master.

Currently, the Male Kimono Crafting Plan is available, along with the actual Male Springtime Kimono. • Unlocking Double Beds in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Unlocking Double Beds in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you can’t access visitor cabins at first. However, once you get your very own visitor cabin, you can unlock additional cabins by completing the Friends and Family quest. Note that each area features a different number of visitor cabins.

When you decorate these cabins with specific items, island visitors will move in. Decorating is a fun activity, and it’s natural to want to add beds to every cabin for a cozy feel. But did you know that you can get Double Beds in this game? This guide will walk you through the process!

    How to Obtain Double Beds

Double Beds are furniture pieces that can be placed in visitor cabins. They come with specific tags that attract various potential island visitors. You won’t find Double Beds scattered around the game; they can only be purchased from Pompompurin’s shop, located on the Dessert Boat.

At his shop, you’ll find a cash register that resembles Pompompurin’s head—simply interact with it to buy Double Beds.

How to Finish the Big Naps Quest

Before you can buy a Double Bed, you must first accept and finish the Big Naps quest from Pompompurin. To access this quest, you need to reach friendship level ten with Pompompurin and complete certain other quests beforehand:

After completing these quests, speak with Pompompurin to receive the Big Naps quest. Once accepted, you can interact with the Pompompurin-themed cash register in his shop to purchase Double Beds. To buy a Double Bed, you’ll need to have its Single Bed version and spend 25 Feathers.

Once you purchase any Double Bed, the Big Naps quest will be marked as complete.

List of All Available Double Beds

The player is planning to buy a Pirate Double Bed in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

After completing the Big Naps quest, you can purchase Double Beds whenever you’d like. Each costs 25 Feathers and requires you to have the Single Bed version of that bed.

The shop features a rotating selection of 15 Double Beds daily, and the available options refresh every day.

Here’s a table listing all the available Double Beds:

Double Bed Tags Required Materials How to Obtain Single Bed Version
Antique Double Bed Antique, Pillow You can buy it from Small Gift, Big Smile.
Big Challenges Double Bed Big Challenges, Pillow
    • Big Challenges Bed
    • 25 Feathers
Unlocked at friendship level 19 with Big Challenges.

You can buy it from Small Gift, Big Smile.

Coastal Double Bed Pillow, Tropical Hidden in a Treasure Chest near the Button Bouncearound puzzle room in Seaside Resort.

You can buy it from Small Gift, Big Smile.

Keep in mind that when you acquire a Double Bed, you’ll need to use the Single Bed version, as the Single Bed will be removed from your inventory. Moreover, Double Beds cannot be converted back into Single Beds. Other than the visual difference, Double Beds do not provide any benefits over Single Beds.

Make sure to visit Small Gifts, Big Smile, and My Melody’s shop daily. Since you’ll need the Single Bed versions to craft Double Beds, her shop might have what you need for that day.

Also, note that some Single Beds may not always be available. Be sure to check during different seasonal events throughout the year, as certain Single Beds may only be available then. This will help you complete your Double Bed collection.

  • Hello Kitty Island Adventure: A Guide to Seasonal Events

Hello Kitty Island Adventure: A Guide to Seasonal Events

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is set on a peaceful island brimming with adorable Sanrio characters. Players can engage in a variety of exciting seasonal events that often coincide with real-life festivities such as Halloween! There are numerous events to keep you entertained.

In this guide, we will explore all the events available in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, along with information on when they occur. While the specific dates may vary from one year to the next, we can provide approximate timings based on previous years.

    What Are Events?

Before we list all the events, let’s clarify what they entail. Similar to many live-service games, events are time-sensitive activities offering new items or materials for players to collect.

During an event, you’ll receive daily rewards each time you log in. For instance, during the Luck and Lanterns Celebration, players might receive themed clothing and items like Strawberry Crates.

Events generally feature their own unique currency, which can be earned through quests, gathering activities, or by interacting with characters. With enough of this currency, you can exchange it at a special kiosk located near the plaza in the Seaside Resort.

Overall, while events differ from each other, you can typically expect a brief overview of the event when it starts. For example, instead of just seeing Lovebugs and a new habitat pop up in February, Chococat informs us that the Hugs and Hearts Festival involves capturing these bugs and placing them in the habitat to earn themed furniture.

    Event Types

You will encounter several different types of events, which we’ve detailed in the table below. Most events are classified as either primary or secondary, ensuring there’s always something to do!

    Event Type

    Primary

These are the major events that last for several weeks.

These events feature a currency that can be exchanged in the Seaside Resort plaza.

You can still exchange currency, but it’s usually at a smaller stand off to the side of the plaza.

    Daily Calendar

These events do not require participation; they simply provide daily gifts from a calendar.

These are brief events that occur over just a few days.

  • Complete Guide to Echo Conch Locations in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

The world of Hello Kitty Island Adventure is truly expansive. Your adventure begins at Seaside Resort, but as you advance, you’ll unlock access to unique locations such as Spooky Swamp, Rainbow Reef, Gemstone Mountain, and Mount Hothead. One intriguing quest includes finding Echo Conches, strange shells located in unusual places. If you’re curious about where to uncover these Echo Conches and whom they belong to, let’s jump right in!

    Where to Find Echo Conches

Echo Conches are intriguing items scattered across various spots on Friendship Island, which activate the conch quest upon collection. You’ll need to find a total of ten conches throughout the island. Once you gather them, check your inventory to view the details for each conch, then return it to the appropriate character to complete the quest.

Presenting the Echo Conch to its owner grants you a crafting plan in exchange.

Once you get the snorkel in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you can dive underwater and explore a vibrant new world. While this is thrilling, your swimming will initially be limited by your stamina. Fortunately, you’ll soon unlock the Mermaid Outfit, which makes swimming much easier.

However, switching into your Mermaid Outfit can be a bit of a hassle, especially if you’re already dressed in something nice. The quest titled Mermaidified Fashion lets you transform into a mermaid instantly while in the water. Below, you can find a guide on how to complete this quest in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

    Requirements to Start Mermaidified Fashion

There aren’t many prerequisites for starting this quest. First, you must finish the Comic Relief quest. This initial task helps you earn the Mermaid Outfit by locating three pieces scattered throughout Rainbow Reef.

You’ll also need to achieve friendship level 12 with Tuxedosam. Once you meet these requirements, you can begin the quest by chatting with Tuxedosam.

    How to Complete Mermaidified Fashion

After you talk to Tuxedosam, you’ll need to speak with Chococat. He’ll be at his usual spot in his tent, so head over there and have a conversation with him. Chococat will mention that the Mermaidifier has to be upgraded and that he requires a lot of fish.

In total, you’ll need two of each: Citrusfin, Bog Clamfish, Opal Flutterfin, and Banded Spelunker. Below is a list detailing where you can find each type of fish.

    Fish

    Area

    Specific Location

    Citrusfin

    Seaside Resort

    Ponds
We fished in the pond directly north of the plaza mailbox.

    Bog Clamfish

    Spooky Swamp

Left of the Witch’s Hut (there are docks from which you can fish).

    Opal Flutterfin

    Rainbow Reef

    East of the Comedy Club
There are boxes in this area where you can fish.

    Banded Spelunker

    Gemstone Mountain

Inside Caverns (after completing Revive the Oasis).
We found this fish in the cavern filled with pink crystals, but it could be found elsewhere in the caverns.

Keep in mind, you will need two of each type! Fish can come in different sizes, so make sure to catch two of the same size for each type.

    How to Upgrade the Mermaidifier

Once you have all the fish, give them to Chococat. Afterward, you’ll need to meet him at the Mermaidifier. If you’re unsure how to get there, head out the gate and go north.

Tuxedosam and Chococat will head there as well, so you can follow them if you need directions.

You’ll have just one more step! After speaking with the two again, you’ll need to place an underwater outfit into the Mermaidifier. You can use any mermaid pieces you have; we chose a Fall-themed Mermaid Outfit to upgrade.

Once that’s done, chat with Chococat once more to complete the quest. The main reward for this quest is the ability to transform automatically underwater. To see it in action, just jump in and watch as your legs become a tail! Your current clothes will not be visible, but when you exit the water, the Mermaid outfit will disappear, and you’ll return to your normal attire.

Mastering the Chef’s Station in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

The characters in Hello Kitty Island Adventure have quite a passion for food! From delicious ice cream to special sodas, you can make a variety of tasty treats using ingredients scattered across the island. Once you reach City Town, you’ll gain access to the Chef’s Station, which you can use to whip up Mochi right away.

This guide will give you all the details about the Chef’s Station in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. We will cover the first items you can prepare, as well as other dishes that will unlock as you progress.

How to Unlock the Chef’s Station

To gain access to the Chef’s Station, you need to first unlock and explore City Town and meet Usahana. After that, you must unlock the Imagination Cafe by completing a quest titled “A Whole New Menu.” To begin this quest, you will need to reach a friendship level of three with Usahana.

This quest involves visiting Hello Kitty and Chococat, and then locating the Colorful Key to unlock the cafe doors. Once you’ve finished the “A Whole New Menu” quest, you’ll be able to start making Mochi immediately. Although the cafe won’t be fully open yet, you are welcome to come and go freely.

    Complete Mochi Recipes

Before you can create Mochi, you must first produce some Rice Flour. On the Chef’s Station main menu, you will find the rectangular Rice Flour icon, which allows you to make five servings of flour from one serving of Rice. This step is essential before you can proceed with making any Mochi.

Once you’ve prepared enough Rice Flour, click on the Mochi icon and choose your desired flavor. Unlike other recipes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Mochi requires only one ingredient apart from the Rice Flour. Below is a list of all the Mochi options available:

    Making Dango

Once you reach a friendship level of six with Usahana, you’ll unlock the ability to make Dango. Dango does not have individual recipes; instead, it is determined by the types of Mochi you use. To create one Dango, you will need:

    • 1 Stick
    • Any three types of Mochi

For example, if you use three Sweet Mochi, you’ll produce Triple Sweet Dango. Combining two different kinds, such as two Sweet and one Spicy Mochi, yields Double Sweet Spicy Dango. If each Mochi is different, the name will reflect all three flavors. If you include a Chocolate Mochi, you’ll create Sweet Spicy Chocolate Dango.

    How to Make Boba

The Tea Time quest display in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

When you achieve a friendship level of ten with Usahana and complete the “Tea Time” quest, you’ll unlock Boba. This process differs from the other recipes, as there are many more combinations possible.

To get started, you need to combine Tea Leaves with at least one of the following:

    • Coral Milk
    • Tapioca
    • Honeycomb

Any drink made with Coral Milk will include “Milk” in the name, while drinks containing Tapioca will have “Boba” in the title. If you prepare a drink that contains milk but not Tapioca, it will simply be referred to as milk tea. The quantity of Honeycomb alters the sweetness level denoted in the title:

    • No Honeycomb: unsweet
    • One Honeycomb: semi-sweet
    • Two Honeycomb: sweet
    • Three Honeycomb: very sweet

Let’s consider a drink made with the following ingredients:

    • 1x Tea Leaves
    • 1x Coral Milk
    • 2x Honeycomb
    • 1x Snowcicle

The resulting drink would be called Sweet Frosty Milk Tea, No Boba! The flavors of the drinks correspond closely to those used in Mochi, which you can explore below.

You’ll learn this process in the “Tea Time” quest as well.

Lastly, let’s look at Onigiri and Snow Ice. You can make Onigiri after you get the recipe card, which you can find in the Sewers. To access the Sewers, you must complete the quest “Above and Below.” Onigiri requires Rice, a Seaweed Sheet (crafted from Seaweed found in the Sewers), and one additional ingredient specified in the table below.

Snow Ice becomes available after you complete the quest “Room for Dessert.” To make Snow Ice, you first need to prepare Shaved Ice using one Snowcicle. This recipe is introduced in the quest, so no need to hunt for it separately.
