    Quick Links

    – Where To Find Dragon Roaches
    – How To Kill Dragon Roach Terminids

Fighting for freedom in Helldivers 2 is dangerous. Many monsters will come from the shadows to stop your mission to free planets across the galaxy. But with the right weapons and tactics, you can take them down. This guide will focus on the Dragon Roaches found on hive planets, particularly on the Gloom sector.

There’s more to watch out for than just normal bugs in combat. Stay alert and look to the sky. Here are effective tips for defeating these giant enemies, but remember, taking them on alone requires skill and preparation.

    Where To Find Dragon Roaches

Dragon Roaches are new enemies introduced in the latest update. They are very noticeable once you’re in the terminid sector on a hive planet. Usually, you’ll see one or more overhead, spraying poison. These creatures aren’t common at lower difficulty levels but become more frequent starting around level five or six.

When you hear a loud screech, a Dragon Roach will swoop down into combat. These big threats are very dangerous, so you need to be ready if you want to survive an encounter with one.

[Image: A dragonroach flying above, spraying poison]

How To Kill Dragon Roach Terminids

The best way to deal with Dragon Roaches is to bring a powerful exo suit, like the Patriot. It provides plenty of ammunition and acts as armor to protect against their acid sprays. While you can survive without it, staying alert and dodging to the side when they spray is often enough.

[Image: A Dragon Roach attacking two Helldivers from above]

The Dragon Roaches are like the Illuminate Stringray ships in terms of threat level. They are biological creatures, so they can be hit easily by lasers, bullets, and other weapons. Unlike heavily armored ships, these enemies aren’t as tough to damage.

Aim for their heads to deal the most damage. Using a Quasar blast can bring one down quickly. Laser cannons can tear apart their wings if you aim carefully, but delivering a solid hit with bullets or explosives generally works best. Recoilless rifles and Spears are particularly effective options for heavy damage.

Once enough damage is inflicted, the Dragon Roach will fall to the ground. Keep alert, though—if you see one, there’s likely more nearby. Stay ready to move and attack when the opportunity arises.

  • Defeating Helldivers 2 Bile Titans: Tips & Locations

Defeating Helldivers 2 Bile Titans: Tips & Locations

Bile Titans in Helldivers 2 are some of the toughest enemies that the Terminids control. These large, heavily armored bugs stand taller than the players and spew dangerous chemicals nearby. If you’re facing off against the Bugs in Helldivers 2, the Bile Titans are definitely among the most dangerous foes you’ll encounter. When you’re having trouble defeating them, I’ll go over their weaknesses and the best tactics to take them down.

Bile Titans are among the most heavily armored enemies in Helldivers 2. However, their mouths and the glowing green underside are weaker points that you should target for maximum damage. The underbelly has some armor but isn’t heavily protected, so regular primary weapons can destroy it. Shooting the underbelly until it breaks not only damages the Titan significantly but also stops it from spitting bile, greatly reducing its threat level.

If you can’t destroy the underbelly, you can also aim at the Titan’s mouth with high-damage shots just before it vomits. This can cancel its bile attack. Railguns are especially good for this because they deliver a lot of damage quickly. Striking the mouth directly from the side with a charged Railgun shot can also often take a Bile Titan out in one hit. It’s unclear if this mouth is an intentional weak spot, but it’s definitely useful to exploit on higher difficulties.

However, Bile Titans are heavily armored in most other areas. To bring one down quickly, you’ll need powerful explosives and armor-piercing weapons like the ones available in Helldivers 2. Here’s a quick list of the best gear to use against them:

    – Railgun
    – Autocannon
    – Recoilless Rifle
    – Anti-Tank Shells
    – Laser Cannon
    – Orbital Railcannon Strike
    – Orbital Laser
    – Eagle 500kg Bomb
    – Eagle 110mm Rocket Pods
    – Autocannon Sentry
    – Rocket Sentry

You don’t have to use all of these at once, but having at least one option on each team member can help you succeed. In a pinch, a well-placed Hellpod reinforcement can also deal significant damage.

When fighting a Bile Titan, use your environment wisely. Avoid its bile sprays by staying behind cover and making movement difficult for it. Having the Titan run around obstacles or turn often makes it easier to dodge attacks, especially since they move quickly in straight lines. Keeping your distance is usually safest, but if the Titan gets too close, running underneath and avoiding its leg strikes can be safe, giving you a clear view of its underbelly.

Bile Titans appear on all planets controlled by the Terminids, especially in the eastern sectors of the galaxy. They first show up at Challenging difficulty, and one of the mission objectives may be to eliminate them. From Hard difficulty onward, stronger enemies like Bile Titans spawn more often, and at higher levels like Suicide Mission, they can wander the map alone or come out of Bug Breaches with large groups of Terminids.

If you need to kill Bile Titans for daily Orders or special challenges, look for Missions labeled “eliminate Bile Titans” on Challenging difficulty for the easiest approach.

    Is This Warbond Worth It?

Compared to other Warbonds, which tend to be cheaper for similar rewards, the Halo: ODST Warbond offers some solid weapons and armor. If you’re a big Halo fan, it’s definitely worth getting. If not, it’s best to consider whether you have enough Super Credits to spare.

Note: You can earn Super Credits by completing the free Helldivers Mobilize Warbond, which grants 700 Super Credits. This may help reduce the amount you need to spend out of your own pocket.

  • Can You Play Cross-Platform and Completing in Helldivers 2?

Can You Play Cross-Platform and Completing in Helldivers 2?

To combat the massive waves of aliens and robots in Helldivers 2, it’s best to play with others. Entering a mission with friends makes the tasks easier and quicker, allowing you to level up faster. The game has also removed barriers that previously prevented cross-platform play, so you can team up with players on different systems like Xbox without trouble.

While the cross-play feature is a big plus, setting it up can be confusing since the game doesn’t provide clear instructions. If you want to be effective at managing your team and democracy, playing in a squad is essential.

Can You Play Cross-Platform in Helldivers 2?
Yes, Helldivers 2 supports cross-play. When you get into matchmaking, there’s a good chance you’ll be paired with players on platforms different from yours. It’s designed to happen automatically, so you just need to join a match.

However, adding friends on other platforms can be tricky because the system isn’t very straightforward. The good news is, once you’ve added someone on a different device, you only need to do it once.

If you’re inviting players who are on the same system as you, you won’t need to follow these steps because they should already be in your friends list.

    How To Add Friends
Once you’re in the game, go to the Social Tab by pressing ‘O’ on your keyboard or the right stick (R3 on PS5 and RS on Xbox) on your controller. In this menu, select the option that generates a Friend Code. Share this code with the person you want to add.

They can then input your Friend Code in the search bar at the top of their social menu. If entered correctly, you’ll receive a friend request.

If the system isn’t working properly, try toggling the cross-play option on and off in the gameplay settings menu.

Once your friends appear on your list, you can send them invites to join a party or join theirs if they have one ready.

    Does Helldivers 2 Have Cross-Progression?
No, Helldivers 2 does not support cross-progression. If you switch to a different platform, you’ll need to start your progress from scratch.

This can be frustrating if you want to switch systems and keep playing without losing your progress. While the game supports cross-play, each account is tied to one system’s saves and data.

Right now, the developers haven’t announced any plans to add cross-progression in future updates. If maintaining your progress across devices is important, choose your preferred platform before spending many hours in the game.

    Tips For Playing Multiplayer
Success in multiplayer depends heavily on coordination. The weapons, Stratagems, and armor you and your teammates bring will often determine the outcome of each mission.

Pick Weapons That Complement Each Other
Don’t all choose the same loadout. For example, one player might use the AR-23P Liberator for consistent damage against medium armor, while another brings a shotgun or SMG to deal with hordes up close. Assign roles so your team covers a variety of threats effectively.

Remember to upgrade your weapons regularly to maximize their impact as you level up.

    Coordinate Your Stratagems
In multiplayer, overlapping Stratagems waste valuable slots. Divide responsibilities: one teammate might handle heavy weapons like the Stewart or Heavy Machine Gun, another provides support gear such as a jump pack or ammo resupply, and someone else deploys turrets or calls in orbital strikes.

Always communicate before deploying Stratagems to avoid redundancy, like multiple orbital assaults at once.

    Balance Armor Across The Squad
Not everyone needs to wear heavy armor. For tougher difficulties, a mix works best. Have a few teammates in heavy armor to absorb damage, while others wear lighter gear for agility and completing objectives. This balance helps your team move faster and accomplish more efficiently.

  • Top Boosters You Need to Know in Helldivers 2

Top Boosters You Need to Know in Helldivers 2

Helldivers 2 Boosters are special perks that provide benefits to your entire team. Each player can select and equip one Booster, but its effects apply to everyone, such as boosting stamina, health, resistance, or changing certain game mechanics, like adding turrets to drop pods. New Boosters are typically introduced with each Warbond update, so you can expect a steady stream of new ones, which require both Super Credits and Medals to unlock.

To help you decide which Boosters are worth focusing on, we’ve compiled a list of the top Boosters in Helldivers 2, along with how to earn each one and the Warbond they’re linked to.

There aren’t many Boosters to unlock, but since most appear late in the game and cost lots of Medals, it’s useful to know which ones are most valuable. If you’re playing with four players, everyone can have a different Booster active, but with fewer players, you’ll need to choose wisely. Here are the best Boosters ranked by importance:

    1. Stamina Boost – Very useful on tough missions, increasing stamina and healing speed helps you move faster across the map and escape enemies.
    2. Experimental Infusion – Grants a temporary damage and movement speed boost through stims, though it causes some tremors, but it’s a small price to pay for the advantage.
    3. Hellpod Space Optimization – Ensures you start with full ammo, grenades, and stims after each Hellpod drop, which is critical in any mission, especially with fewer teammates.
    4. Localization Confusion – Significantly cuts down the appearance of bugs and bot drops, reducing chaos during fights.
    5. Vitality Boost – Makes your Helldivers tougher, lessening the impact of injuries.

Currently, players can unlock the following Boosters:

    • Hellpod Space Optimization: Fully stocked Helldivers after each Hellpod drop. (Free with Warbond, Page 3, 15 Medals)
    • Vitality Boost: Resist limb and chest injuries. (Free, Warbond, Page 4, 20 Medals)
    • UAV Recon: Extend the radar range to spot enemies from further away. (Free, Warbond, Page 6, 40 Medals)
    • Stamina Boost: Increase stamina capacity and recovery. (Free, Warbond, Page 7, 75 Medals)
    • Muscle Boost: Move through tough terrain more easily, like snow or mud. (Free, Warbond, Page 9, 70 Medals)
    • Reinforcement Budget Increase: Get more reinforcements per team member. (Free, Warbond, Page 10, 150 Medals)
    • Flexible Reinforcement: Shortens wait time for new reinforcements. (Premium Battle Pass, Page 3, 75 Medals)
    • Localization Confusion: Reduces enemy bug and bot spawns. (Premium Battle Pass, Page 1, 18 Medals)
    • Expert Extraction Pilot: Decreases extraction time. (Premium Warbond, Page 2, 55 Medals)
    • Experimental Infusion: Boosts movement speed and damage resistance temporarily, with some trembling. (Warbond, Page 3, 80 Medals)
    • Motivational Shocks: Helps teammates recover faster after being slowed or damaged. (Warbond, Page 1, 15 Medals)
    • Sample Drops: Chance for large enemies to drop samples when they die, capped at 10 per mission. (Warbond, Page 3, 65 Medals)
    • Sample Scanner: Double the sample drops at 15% chance. (Warbond, Page 3, 65 Medals)
    • Firebomb Hellpods: Inflammable pods that explode on impact, setting nearby enemies ablaze. (Warbond, Page 3, 60 Medals)
    • Dead Sprint: Keep sprinting even out of stamina by draining health instead. (Warbond, Page 1, 35 Medals)
    • Resupply Pods with Turrets: Combine supply drops with mounted turrets. (Warbond, Page 2, 55 Medals)
    • Stun Pods: Stun enemies upon landing at the drop zone. (Warbond, Page 2, 55 Medals)

Boosters in Helldivers 2 are permanent once unlocked—they don’t expire and can be equipped at the start of any mission. You’re limited to one Booster per mission, but the effects benefit the entire team. If one player equips a Booster that reduces injuries, everyone gains that advantage. Multiple team members cannot equip the same Booster simultaneously, so if a Booster isn’t available, it’s because someone else already has it equipped.

All Boosters are earned through Warbonds and Medals. The best approach is to ensure everyone has a different Booster, maximizing team buffs. Since Boosters pose no risks and can be used endlessly, it’s recommended to equip them in every mission—especially on harder difficulty levels where every edge counts.

  • Helldivers 2 Is Finally Coming To A New Platform

Helldivers 2 Is Finally Coming To A New Platform

If you haven’t been keeping up, you might not know about the buzz surrounding Helldivers 2. Since its debut, the game has been exclusive to PlayStation 5 and PC, but Xbox players can join the battle for Super Earth starting August 26. Preorders are available now, and those who secure their copy early will receive special in-game rewards.

In a recent announcement via Xbox Wire, game director Mikael Eriksson expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming release: “We know gamers have been asking for this for some time, and we’re thrilled to welcome more Helldivers into our universe. We have so much in store for the months and years ahead—more players mean more stories to tell! The fight for Super Earth has just begun.”

Developed by Arrowhead Studios, Helldivers 2 is a cooperative third-person shooter that encourages teams of up to four players to complete challenging missions. Players must utilize a variety of weapons to defeat foes and achieve objectives. One aspect that sets the game apart is its evolving narrative, shaped by players’ successes and challenges during community events.

  • Completing Weapon XP Farming in Helldivers 2: A Guide to Solving

Completing Weapon XP Farming in Helldivers 2: A Guide to Solving

In Helldivers 2, you will confront powerful enemies and annihilate the threats facing Super Earth. Armed with elite weaponry and strategies, you’ll deploy high-tech gear to take down bugs, bots, and squids. You also have the option to further tweak your equipment, boosting its performance and customizing weapons to fit your unique gameplay style.

We’ll explain how to unlock weapon customization and how to quickly gain weapon experience to level up your main firearm efficiently. Here’s everything you need to enhance your arsenal as a Helldiver committed to Super Earth! Time is of the essence when democracy is at stake.

    Unlocking Weapon Customization

Before you can begin upgrading your primary weapons, you must reach player level ten. You achieve this by completing missions solo or in a team.

To expedite this process, consider teaming up with others on higher difficulty missions for quicker completions.

Once you hit level ten, head to your armory to check out your primary weapons. You can start customizing them with various components and color schemes, though your options will be limited until you level up each weapon.

Effective Ways to Earn Weapon XP

To gain experience for your weapons, simply ensure they are part of your loadout. You don’t even have to use them actively. As long as a weapon is included in your gear for a mission, swapping it out during the mission will still earn you experience upon completion.

You’ll find plenty of weapons during missions, and you can coordinate with your teammates to acquire replacements.

The most efficient way to rack up experience is by attempting missions at higher difficulty levels. While the highest level, Super Helldive, offers the most experience, it is also the most daunting.

Unless you’re fully prepared or have a capable squad, it’s wiser to tackle challenges at a manageable difficulty. Sometimes, it’s better to lower the difficulty slightly for quicker mission completions, which can optimize your farming for experience.

In particular, Eradication and Blitz missions can be completed in about 15 minutes. If you’re high-performing, you might finish even quicker.

Feel free to choose any loadout for your stratagems, including powerful tools like the Eagle 500Kg Bomb and the Orbital Laser, to eliminate large groups of Terminids, Automatons, and Illuminate enemies.

Though Stratagem Jammers will complicate missions by disabling your best resources, you can always find ways around this, such as stepping outside the jammer’s radius to call in essential weapons and supplies.

  • Completing the Illuminate Challenge on Super Earth in Helldivers 2

Completing the Illuminate Challenge on Super Earth in Helldivers 2

Time to step up, Helldiver! The Illuminate invasion has kicked off in Helldivers 2, and Super Earth is in danger. Every Helldiver must join the fight and push back against the Illuminate forces. We cannot let Super Earth fall. We have to hold the line at any cost, so grab your gear and gear up: Super Earth is at war!

The latest Major Order is one of the toughest we’ve faced, demanding the collaboration of all available Helldivers. We’re here to explain what this Major Order entails and how you can help protect Super Earth from the Illuminate before it’s too late.

What Is The Super Earth Major Order?

In this latest update, the Illuminate Fleet has arrived at Super Earth. The clock is ticking, as their forces overwhelm the streets of our cherished Mega Cities. People are fleeing from their homes as the squids invade their neighborhoods, and new missions and operations are now available to combat this invasion.

The main order is clear: eliminate 2,500,000,000 Illuminate before the weekend ends. If we don’t succeed, then the Illuminate will conquer Super Earth, and we’ll lose our beloved homeworld. While the challenge may seem daunting, it’s not for a Helldiver.

This Major Order will involve multiple tasks, giving you several chances to fight on Super Earth.

Right now, we must defend two Mega Cities, with seven in total on Super Earth. If all seven fall, Super Earth will be lost. We cannot let that happen.

How To Complete The Super Earth Major Order

Targeting a Leviathan ship with the scope.

To fulfill the Major Order, launch an operation to defend Super Earth’s Mega Cities. Take out as many squids as possible without hesitation.

While you must focus on your main objective, make sure none of the incoming Illuminate ships escape without facing severe consequences.

It’s crucial to team up with other Helldivers for maximum effectiveness, eliminating Illuminate Overseers and destroying all outposts. We cannot allow the Illuminate any foothold on Super Earth.

Bring your best weapons and tactics to achieve this goal, such as Orbital Strikes, Anti-Tank equipment, and turrets. You’ll need all the assistance available to manage the hordes and demolish the enemy.

As chaos unfolds, citizens are in danger. Their survival depends on us. Any civilian casualties will result in a -25 Requisition Slip penalty.

Utilize every skill you’ve gained in battle, lead the charge for Super Earth, and leverage the SEAF soldiers on the ground to enhance your efficiency. Keep an eye out for Illuminate Leviathan ships and end this invasion once and for all!

  • Completing Weapon Customization in Helldivers 2

Completing Weapon Customization in Helldivers 2

In Helldivers 2, weapon customization gives you the freedom to tailor your favorite armaments to suit your playstyle. Rather than grinding for Medals to acquire new firearms through Warbonds, you can enhance specific weapons, sometimes making them even more formidable than the most powerful options in your current inventory.

This allows you to tackle battles against the Terminids, Automatons, and the Illuminate with greater ease. Having a weapon that feels unique enhances the overall combat experience.

How to Level Up a Weapon

Leveling up your weapon is straightforward in the game. Like many other shooters, just play Helldivers 2 to gain experience for your guns. However, a few steps can help you maximize this feature.

First, this functionality only applies to primary weapons, such as the LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle. You need to equip the weapon you want to upgrade, ensuring it’s a primary firearm.

While you can customize your primary weapons, special ones, like those from the Killzone crossover event (e.g., the StA-11 SMG), cannot be modified. Ensure the weapon you’re using is from the main Helldivers 2 universe.

Once you’re prepared, enter any match against any faction.

Player shooting aliens in the distance in Helldivers 2. There is an orange light coming from a substance in front of the player.

To earn the most experience points (XP), consider these approaches:

    • Complete optional objectives.
    • Ensure everyone on your team is extracted.
    • Attempt missions on a higher difficulty.

    How to Customize a Weapon

Player looks onward at enemies as they approach him in Helldivers 2.

Go to your Armory in the ship’s center. You’ll arrive at the loadout menu, where you can customize your entire setup before battle. Look for the Weaponry tab at the top.

At the Armory menu with the primary weapon selected in Helldivers 2.

Upon entering the Weaponry screen, you should be in the Primary weapon section. If not, select the Primary tab at the top left. Here, you can see all the weapons you can modify.

The AR-23P selected in the primary weapon section in Helldivers 2.

When you select Customize for your weapon, a new page will display all available attachments. Initially, most attachments will be locked until you reach certain levels.

Even if you’ve reached the appropriate level for an attachment, you might still need to spend Requisition Slips to unlock the modification.

After that, you can freely add or remove attachments for your selected weapon.

You can also earn cosmetic patterns during this process. These will be found in their dedicated section for each weapon.

You can save up to three configurations for the same weapon. It’s wise to experiment with different attachments and save those you like in each loadout.

As mentioned, attachments impact weapon performance. For instance, an underbarrel attachment can reduce recoil, while a scope may improve the speed of aiming down sights. Pay attention to these effects as you customize.

Lastly, remember that not every weapon offers the same mod options. Some might only let you change the appearance, while others might have a few functional modifications. Keep this in mind while customizing your arsenal.

  • Unlocking and Mastering the LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle in Helldivers 2

Unlocking and Mastering the LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle in Helldivers 2

Hey there, Helldivers! Are you fed up with playing it safe? What if you could take the LAS-16 Sickle and ditch all those annoying safety features? You’re in luck—introducing the LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle, designed for those who like to live dangerously.

The LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle is the newest addition to the LAS series and packs a serious punch. However, there are some important things to keep in mind if you want to use it to its full potential. No worries, though! This guide will help you learn how to handle the heat effectively.

What Is The LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle?

The LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle is an upgraded heat-based weapon that fires at an impressive rate. As a heat weapon, it can keep firing indefinitely—just don’t let it overheat.

You can still fire the weapon even when it’s overheated, but you’ll take damage in the process.

How To Get The LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle

The Servants Of Freedom Warbond in the Acquisitions Center in Helldivers 2.

To get the LAS-17, access the Acquisition Center on your cruiser. Navigate to the Servants Of Freedom Warbond and buy it for 1000 Super Credits. You’ll find the LAS-17 on the first page of the Warbond and need to collect 35 Medals to unlock it.

How To Use The LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle

The iron sight for the LAS-17 Double-Edge Sickle displaying the heat generated on its side in Helldivers 2.

The LAS-17 is an extremely powerful primary weapon that can penetrate any armor type, making it effective against all enemy factions. The weapon takes a short moment to charge before firing, which you can see as a bar on its side. If the heat gauge reaches about a quarter, you’ll start to take damage as long as you keep firing.

To mitigate the overheated damage, it’s wise to equip gear that minimizes this effect. Armors with the Inflammable trait offer 75% fire resistance, significantly lowering the damage you incur. To completely negate damage from overheating, combine the Inflammable Armor trait with the Vitality Enhancement Booster.

  • Unlocking the Combat Hatchet in Helldivers 2: A Guide

Unlocking the Combat Hatchet in Helldivers 2: A Guide

Hey there, citizens of Super Earth! We have an exciting new weapon to help spread freedom and democracy in Helldivers 2. Meet the CQC-5 Combat Hatchet—a cutting-edge, yet familiar tool designed to take down any obstacles you encounter on the battlefield.

The Combat Hatchet is straightforward but comes with a few things to keep in mind before you charge into combat. This guide will show you how to get this weapon, maximize its use, and share some helpful tips.

    What Is the Combat Hatchet?

The CQC-5 Combat Hatchet is a one-handed melee weapon and marks the third melee weapon introduced in the game. It deals significant damage and can penetrate light armor.

Just like previous melee options, the Combat Hatchet takes the place of your secondary weapon. While this means you’ll have one less ranged option, it also has an important advantage: the Combat Hatchet has unlimited uses, with the only cost being your stamina.

How to Get the Combat Hatchet

The combat hatchet in the superstore where it can be purchased in Helldivers 2.

To grab this weapon, simply enter the Acquisition Center menu while aboard your ship using the input key shown at the top of your screen. From there, go to the Superstore tab, and you should find the Combat Hatchet available for 200 Super Credits.

If the Combat Hatchet isn’t visible in the Superstore, you’ll have to wait for the next refresh, which appears above the item listings.

How to Use the Combat Hatchet

A Helldiver using the combat hatchet to hack at a warrior bug in Helldivers 2.

When you have the weapon ready, holding down the attack button will swing the hatchet in a quick motion, striking any enemy in its path. The Combat Hatchet works wonderfully against groups of lightly armored foes, allowing you to conserve ammo for your primary or support weapons.

Using a Stim will grant you unlimited stamina for a limited time, allowing you to swing the hatchet freely without worrying about running out of stamina.

    The SH-20 Ballistic Shield Backpack

While the Combat Hatchet is great for taking down groups of enemies, sometimes the odds can be overwhelming. That’s where the Ballistic Shield Stratagem comes in handy, providing essential defense against attacks. Holding the aim button will deploy the Ballistic Shield, protecting you from incoming attacks.

When you unequip the Ballistic Shield, it will rest on your Helldiver’s back, offering protection from attacks from behind.

Mastering the P-4 Senator Revolver in Helldivers 2

Hello, Helldivers! Ever imagined bringing freedom to the galaxy like a classic western hero? The P-4 Senator revolver is the trusty sidearm you’ve been waiting for! This powerful six-shooter packs a punch, making it capable of taking down lightly armored foes.

Getting your hands on the P-4 Senator revolver in Helldivers 2 is an achievement in its own right, but there’s more to it. Not only will you possess one of the most stylish weapons ever, but you’ll also be able to perform an impressive spin with it. In this guide, I’ll walk you through acquiring the weapon and mastering the spin.

    How to Acquire the Revolver

Before spinning your new revolver, the first step is to obtain it. Head over to the Acquisitions Center on your ship. From there, you’ll find the Steeled Veterans battle pass; you’ll want to purchase the package for 1,000 credits.

Once you’ve made the purchase, check out the P-4 Senator, which can be found right on the first page of the battle pass. To unlock it, you’ll need to spend 15 Warbond Medals, so be prepared to play a few rounds and gather those medals.

After grabbing it, just equip the P-4 Senator into your loadout and get ready for your next mission!

    How to Spin the Revolver

Now that you have the revolver, let’s talk about two cool methods to spin it. The first is straightforward: simply switch to the weapon, and your Helldiver will draw it with a stylish spin.

The second method is equally easy; all you need to do is hold down the designated reload button. This will bring up the weapons option menu. After a brief pause, your character will start spinning the revolver just like a classic gunslinger.

Just a heads up: while spinning the revolver looks fantastic, you won’t be able to fire the weapon while holding down the button. It’s best to show off your spinning skills when it’s safe or while waiting for a mission objective to be completed.

  • Mastering Helldivers 2: Illuminate Enemy Tactics and Defeats

The Illuminate, also called the Squ’ith by some and humorously referred to as “those squid jerks,” have made their intentions clear by invading Calypso and sparking chaos in the Second Galactic War in Helldivers 2. Now, it’s up to you, courageous Helldiver, to show them the universal language of freedom: sheer firepower.

Dealing with this high-tech adversary isn’t just about shooting; it requires understanding your opponent and having the right gear for the job. The Illuminate’s forces are diverse and deadly. Need a hand in your battle against the Squ’ith? This guide will help you send them packing.

Understanding Every Illuminate Enemy and How to Overcome Them

Winning against the Illuminate requires solid preparation and teamwork. Equip yourself with weapons that excel in crowd control, precision firing, and breaking through shields to counter their various strategies. Here’s an in-depth look at each type of Illuminate enemy and tips on how to handle them effectively.

    Enemy Description How to Defeat
Voteless These zombie-like skirmishers attack in hordes, using their numbers and agility to overwhelm players. Use crowd-control weapons like flamethrowers or area-effect explosives. Keep your distance and position yourself in chokepoints to limit their approach.
Watcher These flying drones serve as the Illuminate’s scouts and alarm systems. Equipped with arc weapons, they’re dangerous up close, but their main threat is calling for reinforcements. Eliminate Watchers quickly using precise, high-damage weapons like sniper rifles or burst-fire guns. A well-timed shot can stop reinforcements before they overwhelm your team.
Overseer This medium infantry unit supports swarms of Voteless. Armed with specialized weaponry, they can cause significant damage while enhancing their allies’ effectiveness. Concentrate your fire to eliminate Overseers fast, then shift focus to the horde. Armor-piercing rounds or heavy weaponry are ideal for their durable armor.
Harvester A large enemy that resembles a Bile Titan, the Harvester is protected by an energy shield and carries a powerful laser weapon. First, you need to disable the Harvester’s shield by using weapons that deliver sustained energy damage. Once it’s down, focus your firepower to finish it off quickly while it’s vulnerable. An Orbital Laser can be particularly effective here.
Warp Ship This unit provides aerial support for the Illuminate and facilitates their reinforcements. The glowing-blue ships can deploy additional enemy forces, extending battles and increasing the risk of being overrun. Missiles are the best option to take out Warp Ships quickly, preventing them from dropping new enemies onto the field.

Unlocking and Mastering the Fast Recon Vehicle in Helldivers 2

The Fast Recon Vehicle (FRV) serves as a vital resource for players in need of efficient mobility when foot travel just isn’t sufficient. But don’t think you can just stroll into Helldivers 2 and claim one for yourself. This game is not designed for beginners. The FRV is hidden away, and the Illuminate forces are eager to put a stop to your plans.

To get your hands on the FRV, you’ll have to complete challenging missions, spot it during battles, and hope you can drive it without crashing. Sounds exciting, right? Let’s dive into how to locate this powerful vehicle and make it an asset on your missions.

What Is The Fast Recon Vehicle?

The FRV is built for squad mobility and firepower. It has a seat for a driver, a rear gunner equipped with a mounted heavy machine gun, and room for three more passengers who can use their weapons while riding along. This isn’t just a vehicle; it’s a weapon itself. It can ram into foes, push aside other vehicles, and navigate rough landscapes with ease.

Nonetheless, the FRV does have its drawbacks. Its fuel tank holds only 60 liters, so you’ll need to use it wisely during longer missions. Hitting other vehicles, especially parked ones, can lead to fires or explosions, so careful driving is crucial.

How To Find The Fast Recon Vehicle

If you want the FRV, head over to Calypso in the Saleria Sector, where the Illuminate forces dominate. Just a warning—it’s not an easy mission since the FRV only appears in missions rated Difficulty four or above, meaning you’ll face intense opposition. These missions often take place in areas with human colonies, complete with streets and buildings that could be the perfect hiding spots for the FRV.

The FRV is most likely to spawn near side objectives within these urban environments.

As you embark on your mission, watch your map for a car icon combined with bullets, which indicates where the FRV is located. Utilizing a Recon Booster can also help increase your radar’s range, enhancing your chances to spot it. Unlike some other vehicles, the FRV doesn’t need activation or extra objectives—once you spot it, you can hop in and go.

At the moment, the FRV is accessible solely through these high-difficulty missions, but future updates might introduce it as a deployable Stratagem. For now, you can check it out in the Vehicle Customization menu on your Super Destroyer.

Driving the FRV is straightforward. To begin, interact with the vehicle to sit in the driver’s seat or one of the passenger spots. If you’re driving, you control forward motion by accelerating with the W key or RT, while braking is accomplished using the S key or LT. You can steer easily using the A and D keys on PC or the left stick on consoles.

The FRV offers five operational modes: Reverse, Neutral, Drive, Drive Mode One, and Drive Mode Two. On PC, switch between these modes using the ‘Ctrl‘ key along with the up arrow key. Console users can toggle modes using L1 and L2.

For the player stationed at the rear with the machine gun, firing is as simple as using any standard weapon. The main advantage is the gun’s capability for full 360-degree rotation, allowing you to engage targets from any angle.

To access the machine gun, you’ll need to get into the back of the vehicle.
