Turkish actress Aybüke Pusat is embarking on one of the most significant projects of her career with the upcoming independent feature film “En Mutlu Günümde” (On My Happiest Day). In this film, she takes on a dual role as both producer and lead actress. As filming concludes, exclusive images from the movie have been shared, giving audiences a first glimpse at this psychological drama ahead of its international festival screenings.
This marks Pusat’s debut as both star and producer, representing a major milestone. She is well-recognized for her roles in popular TV series including Söz, Her Yerde Sen, 50M2, Hayat Bugün, and Teşkilat. Now, she is expanding her influence within the industry by actively participating in the film’s early development stages.
The script was penned by Erkan Tunç, who also oversaw the creative direction of the project, with Ahmet Bayer directing the film. Production took place in Istanbul over a four-week period.
In the film, Pusat plays Nesrin, with Halil Babür starring opposite her as Ercan. The supporting cast includes Reha Özcan as Kerem, Elit Andaç Çam as Ahsen, Erşan Utku Ölmez as Mevlüt, Arın Kuşaksızoğlu as Lokman, Ebru Aytürk as Rukiye, and young actress Beren Tunç, who plays a crucial role in the narrative.
The story delves into themes of faith, obedience, silence, love, and betrayal, examining the extent to which individuals are driven by loyalty and societal pressures. According to the production team, the film explores how these elements can push people to their limits.
