    It’s the weekend once again, and that means there’s a new event in Roblox’s Grow a Garden! This week introduces the Chubby Chipmunk event, which features a new weight mechanic for chipmunks, along with many new plants, pets, and items.

    Here’s everything you need to know about this event, including how to use your chipmunks, earn rewards, and unlock all the new pets with their unique passive abilities.

    How Does the Chubby Chipmunk Work?

    Claim your free Chubby Chipmunk from the center of the map and release it into your garden. The main goal is to make your chipmunk as heavy as possible to earn better rewards.

    Your chipmunk gains weight by:

    • Eating crops from your garden
    • Aging over time

    While active, your chipmunk will periodically eat crops and grow heavier, which increases the rewards you can earn.

    During the event, acorns will randomly appear on the map. Claiming an acorn gives you a random reward, such as:

    • Reclaimers
    • Legendary or Mythical Eggs
    • Watering cans
    • Treats
    • Sprinklers
    • Lanterns
    • Nutty Chests
    • Fertilizer
    • Seeds
    • Pet accessories

    Nutty Fever

    You can trigger Nutty Fever by submitting enough crops to the NPC at the center of the map. Filling the gauge to 1,500 (with rarer fruits counted more) starts Nutty Fever, which lasts five minutes.

    During Nutty Fever:

    • Your chipmunk will eat faster.
    • Acorns will spawn more frequently.

    While active, your chipmunk eats more to increase its weight quickly, and acorns appear more often for extra rewards.

    Grizzly Bear

    • Chance of obtaining: 10%
    • Passive Trait: Has a chance to infuse the Fall mutation into crops and increases your size.

    Barn Owl

    • Chance of obtaining: 1.5%
    • Passive Trait: Any pets bought directly from vendors gain an extra 0.1 to 0.2 in weight, up to 3 KG max. All active Fall pets get an additional 0.67 XP per second.

    Swan

    • Chance of obtaining: 1%
    • Passive Trait: Occasionally approaches other pets to befriend them, which can trigger its Graceful mutation ability.

    How to Trigger the Fall Bloom

    The Kitchen Storm update in Roblox’s Grow a Garden introduces a new NPC called the Food Connoisseur. This character wants to take your carefully prepared food items, but only accepts Mutated Food. You’ll need to decide whether to give your meals to Chris P. or the Connoisseur, as each provides different rewards.

    The Food Connoisseur only accepts Mutated Food items. To obtain these, you should aim for a “Lucky Cook” result, which guarantees a mutation from your ingredients. Use crops with mutations in your recipes to improve your chances of getting Mutated Food. The more mutated crops you include, the higher the probability of a Lucky Cook result, and the food will have one or more mutations. You can check your mutation chance with the dial above the cooking pot.

    You can identify whether your food is mutated because it will show the same animations as crops when you hold it, and its mutations will be listed before the food’s name in your inventory.

    Once you give a Mutated Food item to the Rat Connoisseur, you’ll have the opportunity to select one of three possible rewards at random from a list. The Rewards include items like Culinarian Chests, Gourmet Seed Packs, various seeds, and cosmetics, Pet Shard Aromatic, and pets such as the Sunny-Side Chicken or Gorilla Chef. Some rewards like the Kitchen Crate contain several items, including cosmetics like the Frying Pan or Sink Cabinet, or pets like the Bagel Bunny or Pancake Mole, with specified chances of each. Other rewards, such as Pet Shard Aromatic, apply specific mutations to pets, or give pets like the Sunny-Side Chicken or Gorilla Chef.     How to Get the New Zen Pets

    If you love pets in Roblox’s Grow a Garden, you’ll be happy to hear about the new pets added in the latest Zen Event update, which features a Japanese theme and introduces corruption to the gardens.

    There are several ways to get these new pets, and it can be a bit confusing to figure out where each one comes from. Here’s a complete overview, including the chances of obtaining them and their special abilities.

    Currently, five new pets are available from the Zen Event update. You can get these pets in three ways:

    • Buy them from the Zen Shop with Chi or Robux.

    Event Overview

    During the event, Zen Aura weather will occur every hour for ten minutes, enhancing fruits with the Tranquil Mutation. You can use these tranquil fruits to trade with two different NPCs to grow the tree in the center of the map and unlock more rewards in the Zen Shop, or to exchange for Chi to spend at the Zen Shop.

    New pets, cosmetics, and seeds are up for grabs during this event, and we’ve detailed those further down.

    When Does the Event End?

    The event will last at least until July 26, 2025, and there’s a possibility it might be extended for an additional week.

    Zen Channeller and How to Grow the Tree

    As with all pets in Grow a Garden, each one comes with a unique passive ability that can benefit your garden. Here’s a quick guide on how to obtain Zen Eggs and details about the new pets featured in this event.

    How to Obtain Zen Eggs

    There are two methods to get Zen Eggs:

    • Buy from the Zen Shop tanuki NPC located in the center of the map for either 30 Chi or 149 Robux.
    • Receive as a possible reward each time you grow the Zen Channeller’s tree.

    There are a total of seven Zen pets, with six hatching from Zen Eggs. You can buy the last one from the Zen Shop.

    Zen Aura Event

    The Zen Aura Event occurs at the beginning of every hour and lasts for ten minutes. During this period, the fruits in your garden may spontaneously transform into Tranquil when blue orbs of light emerge from the zen area and settle in your garden.

    You’ll notice this happening not only by the timing but also through the special weather effect, which creates leaves and unusual clouds in a cylinder-like shape across the map bathed in a pinkish-orange glow.

    Tranquil Pet Ability or Mutation

    Tanchozuru Pet

    The Tanchozuru pet can be obtained from a Zen Egg (it has a 4.6 percent chance to hatch). Every 10.25m, the pet will meditate for 10.13 seconds, allowing nearby fruits within a 15.13 stud radius a 5.06 percent chance to mutate into Tranquil.

    Pet Mutation Shard Tranquil

    If hatching a Tanchozuru is proving difficult, you can buy the Pet Mutation Shard Tranquil from the Zen Shop using Chi or 279 Robux. This shard can apply the Tranquil mutation to any pet, leading to a nearby fruit gaining the Tranquil Mutation every 24.43m. The pet will also change to a blue hue.

    You need to grow the Zen Channeller’s tree seven times to access this item in the shop, unless you opt to purchase it with Robux, which bypasses the unlock conditions.

    You can easily check the mutations on your fruits by looking at their highlighted traits. Additionally, a fruit with the Tranquil Mutation will be marked by a glowing character that radiates from it.

    How to Give Your Pet a Mutation

    To give your pet a mutation, it must be at least Level 50 and it will cost you 500 million sheckles. The mutation process takes one hour, after which your pet will receive a random mutation from the available options.

    This pet gives you an 8.22% chance of harvesting duplicate fruits. Rare crops have a lower chance, but Prehistoric fruits have an extra 5.15% chance of duplication.

    Triceratops

    This pet rams three random plants every 3.33m, increasing their growth by 33.33ml. It has a 15.40% chance to repeat this action each time.

    How to Acquire and Hatch Dino Eggs

    You can obtain Dino Eggs in two ways:

    • As quest rewards from Blaire, who is located in the center of the map.
    • By trading pets* to Graham, who can also be found in the center of the map on the opposite side from Blaire.

    Note that Graham does not accept dinosaur pets. Most pets will produce a Dino Egg when traded, but rarer pets have a chance to yield a dinosaur pet instead.

    The DNA Machine takes one hour to process and give you your egg.

    Once you have your Dino Egg, place it in your garden; it will require four hours and ten minutes to hatch, although you can speed this up for a fee.

    But how do you do this? In this guide, we’ll discuss everything you need to know about the Lunar Glow Event in Grow A Garden, including how to earn Lunar Points and what they can be exchanged for. We’ll also cover some paid packs related to the event.

    How to Get Started with the Lunar Glow Event

    You don’t need to find a special portal for the Lunar Glow Event. Instead, head to the center of your farm plots. You’ll spot a circular area adorned with owls. The largest owl, the Wise Old Owl, will provide details when you speak with it and will facilitate your collection of Moonlit Fruits, which we’ll explain shortly.

    This area is quite straightforward. On the left of the Wise Old Owl, there’s a moon-shaped icon that reveals the event rewards when interacted with. To its right, you will see a tall stand showing the countdown to the next night event, and further right is the paid content area, which costs Robux.

    How to Collect Moonlit Fruits

    Moonlit Fruits can only be collected during the Night Event. If the timer next to the Wise Old Owl is still running, you won’t be able to gather anything. Thankfully, the maximum wait time is only one hour!

    Once night descends, the plants you’re growing may transform into their Moonlit variants, noticeable by a color change and a blue/purple glow. Collected items will have ‘Moonlit’ attached to their name, making them easy to differentiate.

    How to Exchange Moonlit Fruits

    After gathering Moonlit Fruits, return to the Wise Old Owl and talk to it. You can choose to give just one fruit or all the Moonlit Fruits in your possession. Once you hand them over, you’ll immediately receive points, which are tracked just to the left of the owl.

    If you click on ‘Reward Track’, you’ll see all the potential rewards from the Lunar Glow Event, culminating in an Owl pet resembling those found in the event area.

    Points accumulate over time. The second reward, a Night Seed Pack, requires 20 Lunar Points in total, not 20 additional to the previous ten.
