How to Solve No Good Deed in Ready Or Not: Boiling Point

Boiling Point adds three new missions in Ready or Not. These are tough situations where you’ll need to make your way through by taking out enemies and saving innocent civilians caught in the chaos. One of the assignments is called No Good Deed, set in an amusement park on a pier.

This mission is anything but fun, as things can escalate quickly. Enemies are armed with chemical weapons that threaten your team. Here are some helpful tips for completing No Good Deed in Ready or Not: Boiling Point.

Note: This guide assumes you’re playing on normal difficulty in online multiplayer.

    No Good Deed Mission Objectives
Your main goals are to restore order and rescue all civilians. Specifically, you need to eliminate seven hostile targets and save eleven civilians. There’s also a side task to report the chemical weapons: head into a room inside an arcade, find a table with some items, and interact with them to complete this secondary objective.

Points of Interest in No Good Deed
The map shows various locations where enemies and civilians can spawn, though these spots change each time you play. Refer to these as rough guides, especially since some locations are usually consistent:

    • The big slide on your left, mostly civilians.
    • The Shark Mouths game area, often a mix of threats and innocence.
    • The small pathway after the Shark Mouths, with a hostile sometimes present.
    • The Photo Booth on the right, which may hide a civilian.
    • The northern pathway, usually hosting a civilian and a hostile.
    • The Arcade on the right, no civilians, but multiple enemies and the side objective.
    • The Haunted House beyond the Arcade, potential enemy spawn point.
    • The Wheel at the north end — often a civilian nearby.
    • The Carousel at the northeast corner, possible civilian presence.
    • The Bumper Cars, a good place for several civilians.
    • The Ice Cream Store, watch for suspects inside.
    • Classic Burgers and the Gift Shop to the east, with civilians and some hostiles.
    • The connecting path between the burger joint and ice cream shop, typically guarded by a hostile.

    Locating the Chemical Weapons
The side objective is always in the arcade, on the east side of the park. When you approach the main entrance, a civilian will faint from toxic fumes; do not worry, they don’t count against your score. Carefully enter the arcade, which has certain connecting doors. Proceed into the central room with the counter and windows. Moving skillfully through side doors, use your lockpick to get inside.

Inside, you’ll encounter a room with a desk containing explosives and bags. Interact with it by pressing F to report, and this will complete the side objective.

    Tips for No Good Deed
Instead of your usual helmet, equip a gas mask. This is especially useful during the arcade section, where the gas is strongest. Without a mask, you’ll need to move slowly and retreat when you start inhaling fumes to avoid losing health. The gas mask allows full movement and safe passage through contaminated areas.

The map has many obstacles, like moving rides and structures, including the carousel. Take your time; rushing increases the risk of missing targets or getting shot.

In the haunted house, expect darkness and possible enemies lurking inside. Use flashlights or night vision if available to see clearly.

    Secure the Area First
In all situations, try to neutralize enemies before attempting to rescue civilians. Going in guns blazing or getting distracted by civilians can get you shot or cause civilians to be harmed during the chaos. Use commands like repeatedly pressing F near civilians can make them kneel, expose their backs, and allow you to restrain them safely.

  • Alexa+ Is Good But Still Has Room To Grow

Alexa+ Is Good But Still Has Room To Grow

For years, I’ve envisioned an ideal smart home system—one that adjusts to my routines and performs tasks automatically without prompting. When Alexa+ was announced, I hoped it would be the breakthrough I’ve been waiting for. Though it’s definitely an improvement, I believe there’s still significant potential for further development.

In terms of conversation, Alexa has never quite matched the natural flow of Google Assistant. Alexa requires a trigger phrase for each command, whereas Google typically listens for a few seconds after completing a task to capture follow-up instructions. This made Google Assistant feel more conversational. On the flip side, Alexa has historically been more reliable for controlling smart home devices, even if its vocal commands can sometimes sound rigid.

Alexa+ has certainly enhanced its conversational abilities, but while the upgrade marks a major step forward, it still hasn’t reached its full potential. Currently, Alexa+ is available in a limited early access program, which means a few bugs are still being ironed out. Reactions have been mixed—some users appreciate the improvements, while others feel the changes are heading in the wrong direction.

I see both sides of the debate. Here’s what’s new with Alexa+, along with areas where it still needs improvement.

    ### Conversation Feels Much More Natural

When you ask the basic Alexa version a question, she’s responsive. Sometimes her responses include extra details that feel like they go on forever. While the original model tends to drone on and include irrelevant information, Alexa+ is better at handling interruptions and manages follow-up questions more seamlessly.

It appears as if Alexa+ genuinely wants to engage in conversation, remembering details you share. However, I can’t help but wonder if my voice data is being sent straight to Amazon servers. While most of our data is likely already known by Amazon, I still feel uneasy about sharing too much.

    ### The Price Tag Isn’t Cheap

Alexa+ is a clear strategy to integrate users into Amazon’s Prime ecosystem. The service currently costs $19.99 per month for non-Prime members, but Prime subscribers get it at no extra cost. Once you’re a Prime member, it’s hard not to take advantage of free shipping, Prime Video, and other perks that come with a subscription.

    ### Improved Smart Home Management

Smart home controls have received notable upgrades. Setting routines now can be done entirely through voice commands, eliminating the hassle of navigating a complicated app. For example, I can say, “Alexa, every morning at 7 AM, turn on my office light and start the kettle,” and it executes smoothly.

    ### The Road Ahead Is Long, But Bright

While Alexa+ offers impressive upgrades, don’t expect miracles based solely on official materials. Amazon’s promotional content suggests Alexa+ combines the capabilities of AI models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude into a single platform, but that’s not quite accurate.

It remains the smartest home assistant available today. As it continues to improve and refine its features, I believe it will become almost indispensable. The ability to share documents or schedules that Alexa can reference is particularly exciting.

However, competition is heating up. Google recently announced Gemini for Home, a service designed to replace Google Assistant and integrate Gemini’s advanced AI capabilities into the Google ecosystem. Because of that, Alexa+ faces a much more competitive landscape.

I’m cautiously optimistic about what’s been shown so far. While it’s not yet perfect, Alexa+ will likely only get better over time. I look forward to revisiting it once all the issues have been addressed.

Ultimately, it can serve as an effective communication tool but requires careful consideration of its strengths and weaknesses.

  • Good Luck Sleeping Tonight After Watching The Weapons Trailer

Good Luck Sleeping Tonight After Watching The Weapons Trailer

If you’re having unsettling dreams after viewing the trailer for Weapons, you can thank Zach Cregger. The writer and director, known for Barbarian, is back with a chilling horror story centered around a mysterious case of missing children in the town of Maybrook.

“This is a real story that unfolded in my hometown,” a young voice ominously recounts in the trailer. “Every other classroom was filled, except for Mrs. Gandy’s, which was completely vacant.”

On one harrowing night, every child in Mrs. Gandy’s class, except one, woke up at 2:17 a.m., left their homes, and vanished without a trace. The desperate parents of these missing children are pleading for answers. What could have transpired? Is there something more sinister at work?

The trailer features eerie imagery of the children lying face down at their desks in a dimly lit classroom. One child looks up malevolently from his seat, then the scene cuts to Julia Garner, portraying Mrs. Gandy, waking up in a panic in her bed.

Alongside Garner, the cast of Weapons includes Josh Brolin, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan.

Cregger takes on writing and directing duties for Weapons, likening it to Paul Thomas Anderson’s Magnolia. He also serves as a producer alongside Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz, and Raphael Margules.

Following the success of Barbarian in 2022, multiple studios competed fervently for the rights to Weapons. In a bidding war, Warner Bros.’ New Line Cinema secured the project for about $38 million, with $10 million allocated to Cregger for his multifaceted role.

Universal also had a stake in Weapons, alongside New Line. There are whispers regarding why Universal opted not to counter New Line’s bid. Notably, Jordan Peele parted ways with his management, Joel Zadak and Peter Principato, after the auction ended. Ironically, Principato is Cregger’s manager.

Warner Bros. has high hopes for Weapons, shifting its release date from 2026 to summer 2025, now set for August 8, 2025.

  • Mastering the Scrub Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Mastering the Scrub Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is packed with various side quests, ensuring that players have plenty to discover even after finishing the main storyline. One notable quest in the Kuttenberg area is called "A Good Scrub," which you can activate by speaking to Betty.

In this quest, your character, Henry, is tasked with assisting Betty, the owner of a struggling bathhouse, to avoid bankruptcy. Successfully completing this quest can earn you discounts on services at the Kingfisher Bathhouse. Below, we’ll walk you through how to achieve the best outcome without any complications.

How to Start the "A Good Scrub" Quest

The quest may already be marked on your map. If not, visit the innkeeper with a quest marker located on the east side of Kuttenberg City and inquire about recent happenings. The mission icon will appear near The Hole in the Wall Tavern.

Once you find the tavern, enter the building located to the west of Gunmaker Prokop Eldris’ shop and talk to Betty. She will immediately ask for your help, leading you to retrieve a package for her from Grund.

    How to Help Betty

When you reach Grund, speak to Wagoner Matsek, who should be outside the tavern. If he’s not there, check inside. He’ll provide you with all the details you need regarding the package, so make sure to chat with the girls sitting at a nearby table.

When the girls settle into the cart, mount your horse and speak to them again. One of them will pose an important question, so think carefully before responding. Once you’ve answered, the game will transition you straight to the bathhouse.

Upon your return, Betty will present another proposal. After you agree to assist her, you’ll need to choose the beginning, middle, and end parts of a promotional speech for the bathhouse. Here’s what we recommend selecting:

    • "Like nothing you’ve ever experienced"
    • "Soothe your body and soul"
    • "Feasting, dancing, and singing"

Important Note: Be sure to visit the four marked spots on the map during the daytime, as no one will hear you if you try at night. If it is nighttime, fast forward time or rest until morning.

    Tidying Up the Bathhouse

With the promotion complete, return to Betty for a cutscene to trigger. Following some festivities, you’ll discover that the aftermath is messy. After waking up, you’ll need to clean the bathhouse before the council inspects it.

Warning: Do not exit through the front door during this time, as Betty will be in conversation with the Alderman, which could lead to unwanted attention and an inspection of the bathhouse.

Betty will buy you some time, so put on your clothes and start hiding the intoxicated guests. Gather them one by one and carry them upstairs into the room on your right.

Next, you’ll need to collect tankards from the ground—totaling six. Four of these will be located in the room where you woke up, while the other two can be found in the bathtub area. Don’t forget to pick up any clothes you see lying around.

In the bathtub room, there are four pieces of clothing to collect. Start by grabbing the one near the stairs. Afterward, clean the floor when you notice the mess next to the middle bathtub.

Once everything is cleaned up, the Alderman will enter and assess the situation inside the bathhouse. After his inspection, follow him outside for a concluding dialogue. Once everything is wrappe up, Betty will express her gratitude, and you will finish the quest. Additionally, you’ll receive discounted services from the bathhouse, which can potentially be upgraded to free services in a later mission.

    • Cyberpunk 2077:

      • Medium settings at 1080p usually offer playable frame rates.

    • Fortnite:

      • High settings and can easily exceed 100 FPS.

    • League of Legends:

      • Will run smoothly on max settings with over 200 FPS.

    Future-Proofing Your Gaming PC

While a $1000 gaming PC can handle current games, consider the following options for future-proofing:

    • Upgrade Paths: Choose a motherboard that supports future CPU generations or more powerful GPUs.
    • Expandable RAM: Start with 16GB but ensure the motherboard has additional slots for upgrades.
    • Storage Solutions: Consider an M.2 NVMe SSD for faster load times if your budget allows.

  • Is 40 inches good for a TV?

Is 40 inches good for a TV?

When considering the ideal TV size for your viewing space, a 40-inch television often pops into the conversation. But is this sizing truly suitable for your needs? Let’s explore the various factors that influence this decision, from room dimensions to viewing habits.

Understanding TV Size and Room Dimensions

When selecting a television, it’s essential to consider the size of your room and the distance between the viewing area (like a couch) and the TV itself.

    Optimal Viewing Distance

    • For a 40-inch TV, the ideal viewing distance typically ranges from 5 to 8 feet.
    • This distance allows viewers to enjoy high-definition clarity without straining their eyes.
    • Closer proximity can enhance immersion, while sitting too far might diminish the experience.

    Room Size Recommendations

    • Small Rooms (less than 10×10 feet): A 40-inch TV fits well, providing a balanced scale that won’t overpower the space.
    • Medium Rooms (10×12 feet to 12×15 feet): This size can still be appropriate if you prefer a more compact viewing experience.
    • Large Rooms (15 feet and above): Bigger TVs are generally recommended for enhanced viewing experience, but a 40-inch may work depending on layout and seating arrangements.

Are There Specific Benefits of a 40-Inch TV?

A 40-inch television offers various advantages that might make it a good choice for certain viewers.

    Space-Saving Design

    • Compact Size: Ideal for apartments or smaller living rooms where space is at a premium.
    • Versatile Placement: Can be mounted on walls or fit into entertainment centers without requiring extensive modifications.

    Cost-Effectiveness

    • Budget-Friendly: Generally, 40-inch TVs are less expensive than their larger counterparts, making them accessible for more consumers.
    • Lower Energy Consumption: These models typically consume less power, leading to savings on electricity bills over time.

    Considerations for Performance

While size is an important factor, performance and features also play a critical role in the overall viewing experience.

    Display Technology

    • LED vs. OLED: LED TVs are common in this size range, but options with OLED technology are becoming available, offering better contrast and color depth.
    • Resolution: Most new models come with 1080p or 4K resolution, enhancing picture quality. For a 40-inch screen, 4K is particularly appealing due to sharper detail.

    Additional Features

    • Smart Functions: Many modern 40-inch TVs come equipped with smart capabilities, allowing access to streaming services, apps, and internet browsing.
    • Audio Quality: Built-in speakers may not deliver theater-like sound, so consider external speaker systems for a more immersive experience.

Who Should Choose a 40-Inch TV?

A 40-inch TV might be the perfect fit for specific types of viewers and settings.

    Suitable Scenarios

    • Casual Viewers: Ideal for families or individuals who enjoy casual TV watching rather than immersive cinematic experiences.
    • Gaming Consoles: If gaming is a priority, this size can work well in smaller setups, offering clarity without overwhelming the display area.
    • Secondary TVs: A great option for bedrooms, kitchens, or home offices where space is limited and viewing distances might be shorter.

    Final Thoughts

When determining whether a 40-inch TV is suitable for your home, consider your room size, viewing distance, and specific needs. With its blend of affordability, convenience, and fitness for small to medium spaces, a 40-inch television can be an excellent choice for a variety of viewers.
