  • How to Make Characters Appear for Their Traveler’s Tales in Genshin Impact

How to Make Characters Appear for Their Traveler’s Tales in Genshin Impact

If you’re a fan of Genshin Impact, you probably enjoy spending time with your favorite characters through the main story, their side stories, and chats in the SereniTea Pot. Now, HoYoverse offers another way to connect with them — a permanent feature called Traveler’s Tales.

Get the Travel Accounts notebook from Katherine and explore Teyvat to find and chat with your favorite characters. If you don’t see your favorite, try advancing another character’s Traveler’s Tales or progress further in the main story to unlock more characters.

    Traveler’s Tales Overview

Once you start playing Genshin Impact, you’ve got a lot to learn about the game’s world and lore. Some features, like Traveler’s Tales, are only unlocked after reaching Adventure Rank 28.

Not only do you need to hit AR28, but you also have to make progress in the Liyue story by completing the Archon Quest Chapter One, which begins after finishing the Prologue in Mondstadt. After meeting these requirements, Katherine will have a new option called Traveler’s Tales when you talk to her at the Adventurer’s Guild, whether to get your daily commissions or manage expeditions.

Select this option, listen to her explanation, and you’ll complete a quest named The Many Matters Learned in One’s Travels. This grants you the Traveler’s Accounts in your inventory under the Gadgets tab.

Talk to Characters and Collect Anecdotes

Once you’ve unlocked Traveler’s Tales, characters in Teyvat will appear as small circles on your map, usually near the region they come from. New characters are added regularly with game updates, so it’s good to keep an eye out for who’s available for a chat. When you find a character, approach and talk to them.

Characters will stay at their designated spot for five real-time days. After that, whether you talk to them or not, they will vanish and be replaced by another character. Since characters appear randomly, be sure to check your map often.

When you speak to a character, they share an anecdote — a short story about themselves or Genshin Impact’s world. Some characters have multiple anecdotes, but each visit only lets you hear one. To hear them all, you’ll need to wait for their return later.

You can talk with up to five characters daily. The anecdotes are stored in your Travel Accounts book for future listening. Some stories unlock as you progress through the main game, choose certain quests, or hear other characters’ tales. The first time you listen to a character’s Traveler’s Tales, you earn the “Stories Along the Way” achievement in the Wonders of the World category. Additionally, you earn Primogems for every new anecdote from character chats and updated content.

How to Make Specific Characters Appear

If you want a particular character to appear sooner, head to Inazuma’s Grand Narukami Shrine. Talk to Yae Miko at her desk in front of the shrine, and complete her short quest to unlock the Destiny Drawn ability at the shrine’s information desk.

This allows you to wish for specific characters, increasing their chances of appearing for two days in real time. While it doesn’t guarantee they will show up, your odds of seeing your chosen character go up significantly.

You can only hear five Traveler’s Tales per day, so choose your chats wisely. Stories are not only a way to enrich your experience but also a fun way to learn more about the characters and lore of Genshin Impact.

  • How to Complete Varka’s Story Quest in Genshin Impact: Solving the Mystery

How to Complete Varka’s Story Quest in Genshin Impact: Solving the Mystery

The 6.4 update for Genshin Impact at the end of February 2026 brings us back to Mondstadt for the first time in the main story since our departure to Liyue a long while ago. This update reconnects us with familiar characters and locations.

It also introduces Varka, the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, for the first time. The chapter quest related to his arrival focuses on discovering where Varka has been and why he’s been absent from Mondstadt for so long. Here’s what you need to know about starting his story.

How to Start Varka’s Lupus Majoris Chapter

To begin Varka’s story, you need to reach Adventure Rank 40 and complete the previous part of the Song of the Whelkin Moon quest line from Nod-Krai. However, you can start Varka’s chapter as early as Adventure Rank 28 using the Quick Start Focused mode, which grants early access to timed events.

When you log into the game after the 6.4 update, you’ll see a series of events under the Events tab via the pause menu or quick access wheel. Find the Lupus Majoris Chapter section and confirm your interest in the quest to start.

In the game, Paimon mentions you have a letter in your Quest tab in your inventory. Open it and read it—it’s Venti summoning you back to Starsnatch Cliff. The quickest way to get there is warping to the Midsummer Courtyard domain and heading toward the yellow marker.

Wind gusts have been arranged at the domain to help you reach Venti faster. You’ll approach the Mondstadt archon and trigger a cutscene, where you’ll meet Lohen. After this, you’ll return to Mondstadt with him, and scenes will shift to Varka and his expedition.

You will then control Varka briefly and engage in a fight against some Wild Hunt enemies. Since Varka is at the appropriate level for the quest, this should be manageable. After winning, you’ll face the spirit of Andrius, the Wolf King, in a cutscene.

Post-battle, you’ll be back at the library in Mondstadt with several Knights of Favonius. After everyone disperses, go to Jean’s office on the second floor and speak with her. Paimon will remind you to deliver your letters, so head to The Angel’s Share bar near the city gates.

Here, you’ll give out letters to characters, including Diluc, Kaeya, and Rosaria, through a cutscene. Afterward, travel to Wolvendom to continue the story, though be warned—the teleport waypoint there will have you immediately ambushed by Wild Hunt monsters, so come prepared.

Lohen arrives, and you’ll move further into Wolvendom, despite how unnerving it might feel. The next step is to visit the trial grounds for the Dominator of Wolves challenge. Even if you’ve defeated him before, you’ll find him here with Razor. Venti will provide some background on Lupus Boreas, and Razor will give you his Ironclaw imbued with Andrius’ spirit for protection.

Varka rides Dvalin to Nod-Krai and joins the fight happening there. Watching the cutscene, you’ll learn about Abyssal Riftlines—a purple energy barrier—before completing that part of the Lupus Majoris chapter.

    The Push Through Nod-Krai

After the scene, you’ll get a quest marker guiding you to a meeting at Favonius Keep, just up the hill from your landing point. Talk to Varka, choose to wait for the meeting, and explore the area and chat with nearby characters if you like.

The story scene will show a meeting with Nod-Krai figures and some familiar Mondstadt faces. Afterwards, proceed to a second meeting spot northwest of the Pillar of Embla waypoint. Varka mentions a second seal covered by an energy barrier. To remove it, you must carefully re-infuse lights and reconnect the nodes on different sides of the area by following the yellow energy lines and placing the infused lights in the correct spots.

    Command Your Squads

Following a puzzle, you’ll speak to Jahoda, and the Logistics Company squad will join your team. You can gather info from characters on the map, and you’ll choose a location north to reinforce — marked by a glowing red symbol. Your squad will include Varka, the Traveler, and others, with Varka able to give commands.

Use Varka’s abilities and the Traveler’s unique skills to set explosives and take out Wild Hunt enemies. Prepare to command your squad, deploy your explosives, and clear waves of enemies. When the enemies keep spawning, retreat along your initial path to end this part of the quest, with the Lightkeeper Squad joining you temporarily for command.

Next, go to another waypoint north for a tougher Wild Hunt fight. Varka will assist with squad commands until a monster generator appears, which must be destroyed. Feel free to help out during this fight. After destroying the generator, continue to the next area for more battles.

In that area, you’ll coordinate Varka’s commands to attack or dispel the mist. During this phase, keep an eye out for green health bubbles—these are your only source of healing, and you can also use food items from your inventory to keep Varka and the Traveler alive.

Before one final battle, control shifts back to Varka, and you will approach a Fragment for a cutscene leading to a battle against “Roland.” During this, your sword may break after a quick time event, hinting at Varka’s reality outside normal space.

    The Heart of the Wolf

Follow the wolf trail toward a glowing sword, interact with it, and fight off Wild Hunt monsters using only Varka. Collect the chest nearby, use Varka’s special skill again, then interact with the sword one last time before crossing a broken bridge.

Varka can jump gaps with his Elemental Burst, so move toward a hidden treasure chest and stay alert for a wolf that appears. Follow the wolf carefully, watching out for cliffs and steep terrain. Prepare for your next fight.

Once again, fight Wild Hunt enemies with Varka and use his special skill to grab the Wandering Knight’s Longing. A strong wind tunnel appears, and you’ll need to hide behind broken walls when the wind is at its strongest, moving forward only when it settles. At the end, you’ll be pushed back, but tools you’ve rooted will push Varka into the next arena—the heart of the wolf.

During the maze, follow Roland, listening to his taunts and checking where he goes. If lost, a waypoint will help you reorient. The scene builds to a confrontation, with characters arguing and Varka revealing he’s outside reality. Quick time events will play, featuring Venti, Andrius, and The Captain, culminating in a scene back in Mondstadt with the Knights.

Getting Out of the Heart of the Wolf

Once the scene ends, you must sprint back to the start of the dungeon before time runs out, dodging enemies and obstacles. Wait for Amber’s voice before jumping across wind currents—she will direct you when it’s safe to proceed, preventing you from falling into the void and losing progress.

Use Varka’s Elemental skills to leap over large gaps, and complete the run to reach the end of the dungeon. A final cutscene will crown your efforts, where Varka is recognized more fully among the Knights of Favonius.

    Rewards for Completing the Chapter

Finishing Varka’s story chapter rewards you with:

    • 60 Primogems
    • 9 Vayuda Turquoise Fragments
    • 6 Prismatic Severed Tails
    • 30 Wolfhooks
    • 12 Reinforced Drive Shafts
    • 15 Broken Drive Shafts

Most of these rewards are valuable upgrade materials for Varka, along with Primogems and other items needed for character enhancement.

  • Best Builds for Jahoda in Genshin Impact: Completing and Solving

Best Builds for Jahoda in Genshin Impact: Completing and Solving

While fans have had some time to get familiar with Jahoda, one of the newer characters added in Genshin Impact’s Version 6.0 update—when the game introduced us to the Snezhnayan satellite region of Nod-Krai—we can now officially add her to our teams as she’s finally available on the banners.

This four-star bow user, who wields Anemo, was first shown in the 6.2 update for the Song of the Welkin Moon event. She works particularly well in Nod-Krai teams that benefit from Anemo’s elemental reactions, especially those that amplify Swirl damage. Here’s a guide on how to build Jahoda effectively.

    Jahoda Overview and Constellations

Jahoda is a Nod-Krai native and an Anemo bow user. She was introduced in the storyline for the Song of the Welkin Moon before becoming available on the banners with the 6.2 update, featuring characters like Durin and Venti. She’s a solid choice not only for her Swirl damage but also for her healing capabilities. Her constellations notably upgrade both aspects significantly, particularly at levels C3 and C5.

If you plan to use the new Moonsign mechanic, Ascendant Gleam—activated when her Purr-loined Treasure Flask fills—Jahoda is almost essential. She has skills designed to support teams that are built around this mechanic.

    Jahoda’s Ascension Materials

To ascend Jahoda, you’ll need specific gemstones and materials:

    Level Gemstones Materials Mora
20 1 Vayuda Turquoise Sliver 3 Portable Bearings, 3 Broken Drive Shafts 20,000
40 3 Vayuda Turquoise Fragments 2 Lightbearing Scale Feathers, 10 Portable Bearings, 15 Broken Drive Shafts 40,000
50 6 Vayuda Turquoise Fragments 4 Lightbearing Scale Feathers, 20 Portable Bearings, 12 Reinforced Drive Shafts 60,000
60 3 Vayuda Turquoise Chunks 8 Lightbearing Scale Feathers, 30 Portable Bearings, 18 Reinforced Drive Shafts 80,000
70 6 Vayuda Turquoise Chunks 12 Lightbearing Scale Feathers, 45 Portable Bearings, 12 Reinforced Drive Shafts 100,000
80 6 Vayuda Turquoise Gemstones 20 Lightbearing Scale Feathers, 60 Portable Bearings, 24 Reinforced Drive Shafts 120,000

    Jahoda’s Talents and Priority

    Her talent skills include:

    • Normal Attack: “Strike while the Arrow’s Hot” — performs up to 3 shots with her bow, with charged shots dealing increased damage and AoE plunging attacks.
    • Elemental Skill: “Savvy Strategy: Splitting the Spoils” — Jahoda dashes towards enemies, enters Shadow Pursuit, converting nearby Cryo/Electro/Hydro/Pyro to Anemo, and dealing damage on reactivation.
    • Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: When her Purr-loined Treasure Flask is full, she consumes the stored element gradually, firing Fluffy Meowballs that deal damage and regenerate energy.
    • Elemental Burst: “Hidden Aces: Seven Tools of the Hunter” — summons two Purrsonal Coordinated Assistance Robots and deals Anemo damage.

Her passive skills enhance her damage and healing when certain conditions are met, especially with team compositions that include Cryo, Electro, Hydro, or Pyro characters.

    Constellations

Upgrading her constellations boosts her overall utility:

    • C1: Chance for Meowballs to bounce and hit nearby enemies.
    • C2: Enables tracking of the second most numerous element among team members.
    • C3: Increases talent level for “Hidden Aces.”
    • C4: Recovery of Elemental Energy when robots undergo elemental conversion.
    • C5: Boost to talent levels.
    • C6: Enhances critical stats when Purr-loined Treasure Flask is full.

    How to Use Jahoda

Jahoda works best as a sub-DPS, fitting smoothly into teams built around Ascendant Gleam mechanics and other Nod-Krai characters. Her skill set allows her to convert elemental resistances and boost Swirl reactions, making her especially effective when paired with characters who can capitalize on those reactions.

Most suitable weapons are bows like the Favonius Warbow or Aqua Simulacra, but many four-star options like the Snare Hook and Sacrificial Bow work well too, especially if you haven’t pulled the limited banners for five-star weapons. For artifacts, the Viridescent Venerer set is optimal for boosting Swirl damage, while the Silken Moon’s Serenade set benefits her if you’re leveraging Nod-Krai team synergy.

    Best Team Comps for Jahoda

Jahoda pairs well with characters who can generate consistent Elemental Energy or benefit from her Swirl reactions. She synergizes notably with other Nod-Krai characters using Ascendant Gleam, and her damage output is amplified in teams that focus on elemental response and energy recharge.

Team with Jahoda, Arlecchino, Bennett, and Aino

This overview ensures you understand Jahoda’s role, talents, and how to build her effectively in your team.

  • Creating and Solving Games in Genshin Impact: Miliastra Wonderland

Creating and Solving Games in Genshin Impact: Miliastra Wonderland

If you’ve been playing Genshin Impact for some time, you’re probably used to updates arriving roughly every six weeks, bringing new quests, areas, and characters. Sometimes, these updates also introduce completely new game modes, like the latest Version Luna II update.

This update is nearly the biggest in the game’s history because it introduces Miliastra Wonderland, a mode that provides endless gameplay. In this mode, you can build your own games and also enjoy experiences created by other players—all for free.

    How to Access Miliastra Wonderland

Once you start the game, during the prologue, you’ll find yourself in Jean’s office with other characters. After the dialogue finishes, Miliastra Wonderland unlocks automatically. To enter, click the button on the top right corner of your screen, right next to the events button.

When unlocked, a special menu appears at the bottom of the main menu, giving you quick access to all parts of this mode. Also, the Manekin becomes a playable character in your open world, and you can level them up by increasing your Wonderland level.

How to Play Games in Miliastra Wonderland

Miliastra Wonderland is designed for endless fun, with a variety of games to choose from, many of which are multiplayer and replayable. To browse available games, you can:

    • Use the button on the top right in the main world to open the game catalog.
    • Or, if you’re already in a lobby, interact with the large orb with a hat to access the catalog.

In the catalog, games are split into three sections:

    1. The most popular current games, which you can browse.
    2. The top monthly games, which are also selectable.
    3. A list of all experiences, sorted by genre (yellow labels). If you’re looking for something specific, click the “All Wonderland” button in the top right to see everything, with options to filter by popularity and other criteria.

For multiplayer games, it’s best to sort by popularity since busier queues mean shorter wait times. The multiplayer experience mirrors events like Windtrace, so expect some delay if your internet connection has high ping. Successfully winning in Wonderland increases your rank and leaderboard standing.

    How to Get New Outfits

One of the main draws of Miliastra Wonderland is customizing your Manekin’s outfits. Since you can take these characters into the normal world, it opens up many fun photo and gameplay opportunities. You can obtain outfits in two ways:

    • Gacha: Spend real money on limited-time banners or use the Geode of Replication in the standard banner.
    • Complete tasks: Finish certain battle pass challenges or Wonderland exploration missions (the latter is a one-time task).

When you get an outfit via gacha, you’ll need to craft it using duplicates of items obtained through the process. Rewards from exploration are directly added to your wardrobe, which you can access by clicking the top-right icon in a Wonderland lobby. Here, you can change your character’s clothes freely.

    How to Increase Wonderland Level

Your Wonderland level grows as you play and participate. Upgrading your Manekin’s level and talents requires raising the Wonderland level itself. The simple way to do this is by using the mode frequently—everything you do in Wonderland grants experience (EXP). You earn EXP through:

    • Playing different stages.
    • Increasing your rank in any Wonderland.
    • Moving higher on leaderboards.
    • Completing achievement in Wonderland.

Gaining EXP to level up your Wonderland may take varying amounts of time depending on what activities you engage in.

How to Create Your Own Game

Want to craft your own Wonderland game? It’s easy and doesn’t require any coding skills. The main requirement is to follow a detailed guide that explains the system’s inner workings, which you can find online.

To start, click the leftmost icon at the top right corner in a Wonderland lobby. This opens options to create a new save or edit your existing one. Additionally, you can browse templates for new games by heading to the game catalog and clicking the button next to “All Wonderland.” This allows you to build and personalize your own worlds easily.

  • Complete Your Journey: Rewards & Event Guide for Genshin Impact

Complete Your Journey: Rewards & Event Guide for Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact introduces new quality-of-life features and rewarding events with each major update. The event “To Temper Thyself And Journey Far” is quite generous—it allows players to earn a Stella Fortuna for a character of their choice. This item helps upgrade the character’s constellations, significantly boosting their abilities.

You can easily reach the event milestones by completing your training goals, which include activities like finishing daily commissions and using your Original Resin. Since these are tasks you already perform to train your characters, there’s now a stronger motivation to develop your team.

    ### What Are the Rewards for “To Temper Thyself And Journey Far”?

This event gives you a free Stella Fortuna for a five-star character you already own. You pick any character from the available list, and you can change your choice at any time.

If you don’t choose a character, the game will automatically select one based on their levels. If multiple characters share the same level, the first one on the roster will be chosen for you.

    ### Can You Get Extra 5-Star Character Constellations?

You can only receive one Stella Fortuna per character, and it cannot be earned again during subsequent event runs. To unlock this free constellation, you need to complete specific training goals. Besides the Stella Fortuna, you may also receive other helpful items to upgrade your characters, such as:

    – 20 Mystic Enhancement Ore
    – 1 Crown of Insight
    – 10 Hero’s Wit
    – 1 Sanctifying Elixir
    – 100,000 Mora
    – 1 Dust of Enlightenment
    – 5 Sanctifying Essences

    ### How Do Training Goals Work?

Training goals are achieved through daily and weekly tasks. To complete your daily goals, you must finish all daily commissions and spend 120 Original Resin. Doing this five times each week completes a weekly training goal.

Once you hit a weekly milestone, you receive rewards based on your progress. To earn the Stella Fortuna, you need to complete this weekly goal eight times during the event period.

  • Top Build, Weapons, Artifacts, and Team for Lauma in Genshin Impact

Top Build, Weapons, Artifacts, and Team for Lauma in Genshin Impact

If you’re playing Genshin Impact, you probably enjoy the exciting new characters added with each update. Each new character introduces fresh mechanics, especially when they come from a new region, often bringing unique abilities and features.

This applies to Lauma, a five-star Dendro character from Nod-Krai. She delivers significant damage with her kit and is also one of the best support units for Bloom and Hyperbloom teams, helping to bring these reactions back into the game’s current meta.

    ### Lauma Overview, Kit, and Talent Priorities
Lauma is highly ranked in exploration and Spiral Abyss, earning S+ tiers, and she has an S tier in Imaginarium Theater activities. Her kit revolves heavily around the Lunar-Bloom reaction, which is common in Nod-Krai characters. When she is on the team, all Bloom reactions are converted into Lunar-Bloom, providing Verdant Dew to the team in addition to the usual effects. Damage from Lunar-Bloom can critically hit, with crit chances based on the trigger character’s base Crit Rate. Keep in mind, the Dendro Cores created by Lunar-Bloom still deal regular Bloom damage, and Lauma’s own damage from Lunar-Bloom mainly comes from her Skill.

    ### Lauma’s Kit, Explained
Lauma has two versions of her Elemental Skill, both creating a field around the active character that deals Dendro damage, with holding the Skill adding extra Lunar-Bloom damage if Verdant Dew is available. Using Verdant Dew during this hold consumes it and grants one Moon Song, which is used during her Elemental Burst. Her Skill also lowers enemies’ Hydro and Dendro resistances.

Her Burst isn’t a massive damage dealer but is vital because it stacks Pale Hymn, gaining 18 stacks initially and six more for each Moon Song used. These stacks boost reactions like Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, and Lunar-Bloom. They are consumed whenever these reactions hit enemies, and multiple enemies can consume multiple stacks simultaneously. Lauma’s Charged Attack can be held to switch her into a deer state, increasing mobility at the expense of stamina, signaled by the shining antlers on her head.

With 800 Elemental Mastery (EM), Lauma gets a 32% bonus to Skill DMG and a 14% boost to Lunar-Bloom DMG. Reaching 1000 EM reduces her special Charged Attack’s cooldown by 20%. If she has only one Moonsign character on her team, her Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon reactions have a 15% chance to crit, and if they do, they inflict 100% Crit DMG. Having two or more Moonsign characters increases her Lunar-Bloom Crit Rate and DMG by 10% and 20%, respectively.

    ### Constellation Upgrades
    Lauma’s constellations provide significant upgrades:
    1. Post-Skill and Burst, her team heals based on her EM, and her stamina cost for her Charged Attack decreases by 40%.
    2. Pale Hymn stacks boost reaction damage based on her EM, and her team’s Lunar-Bloom damage increases by 40% in the second Moonsign stage.
    3. Her Elemental Burst level increases by three.
    4. She gains 4 Energy every five seconds when her field hits opponents.
    5. Her Elemental Skill level increases by three.
    6. Her field gains an extra Lunar-Bloom damage instance and adds two Pale Hymn stacks. When she has stacks, her basic attacks convert to Lunar-Bloom damage, consuming stacks and scaling with her EM. Her team’s Lunar-Bloom damage gets a 25% bonus in the second moon phase.

    ### Talent Priority
Based on her kit, focus primarily on her Elemental Skill and Burst, as her basic attacks are less crucial unless she reaches maximum constellations. Improving her Skill grants resistances shred for Dendro and Hydro, boosting her overall damage output. Upgrading her Burst enhances her stacking potential for Pale Hymn, which in turn amplifies damage across Bloom reactions.

    ### Best Weapons
Because she originates from a different region, Lauma has limited weapon options. Her signature weapon is Nightweaver’s Looking Glass, which provides up to 120 Elemental Mastery when Lauma triggers Lunar-Bloom through her Skill or Burst. Leveling this weapon maximizes her EM and boosts team damage for Bloom, Hyperbloom, Burgeon, and Lunar-Bloom reactions.

    Other recommended weapons include:
    – A Thousand Floating Dreams, which offers EM and additional elemental bonuses based on team composition.
    – Blackmarrow Lantern, a craftable four-star option increasing Bloom and Lunar-Bloom damage, especially effective with multiple Moonsign characters.
    – Etherlight Spindlelute, a four-star event weapon that boosts Energy Recharge and EM after skill use.

    ### Best Artifacts
The Silken Moon’s Serenade set suits Lauma best, granting her increased Energy Recharge (20%) and up to 120 EM, plus a 10% boost to Lunar Reactions. Alternative sets like Deepwood Memories can increase Dendro damage and RES shred, supporting her role as a Dendro damage dealer. Gilded Dreams helps if you lack other options, providing EM for every different element on the team.

    ### Artifact Stat Priorities
Focus on Elemental Mastery for Sands, Goblet, and Circlet pieces. For sub-stats, prioritize Energy Recharge and Elemental Mastery, then Crit Rate and Crit DMG as secondary options.

    ### Team Composition
Lauma performs best in Bloom teams with characters like Nilou, Nahida, and Kokomi or Baizhu, where she can maximize her reaction damage. For F2P teams, pairing her with Xingqiu, Yaoyao, and other Hydro or Dendro characters works well. Lauma is also viable in Hyperbloom and Burgeon setups, with the former being more effective overall.

A typical rotation starts with Lauma’s Skill, then switching to Nilou to use her Skill and Burst. Follow up with Nahida and other team members to set up reactions, then revert to Lauma for her hold Skill and Burst. This sequence maximizes both reaction synergy and damage output.

  • Completing the Ultimate Skirk Build: Teams, Weapons, and Artifacts in Genshin Impact

Completing the Ultimate Skirk Build: Teams, Weapons, and Artifacts in Genshin Impact

In Genshin Impact, players can frequently acquire new characters from limited-time banners, which are regularly refreshed. Typically, these characters appear in main story updates in advance to create excitement, particularly for those connected to established regions.

Skirk is an exception, having first made her appearance in the conclusion of Fontaine’s story arc. After a wait of over a year, she is now available as a five-star Cryo character, ready to wreak havoc when properly outfitted.

Skirk Summary, Skills, and Talent Focus

    Exploration

    S+ Tier

    Spiral Abyss

    S+ Tier

    Imaginarium Theater

    S+ Tier

Even though Skirk hails from a region outside Natlan, she was launched along with the updates for that area, benefiting players with enhanced mobility in the open world. By activating her Elemental Skill, Skirk enters a unique mode that allows for quick movement across the map and the ability to glide on water.

Additionally, Skirk operates outside the standard energy system, enabling her to inflict significant damage during every rotation without requiring team support, making her exceptional for exploration. In endgame content, she stands out as the premier Cryo character, easily reaching damage outputs exceeding 150,000.

The high damage mentioned above is attainable with her premium team setup, but you can also reach similar numbers with a free-to-play team given the right build.

Skirk’s abilities may seem complex at first, but her combat mechanics are straightforward.

    Skirk’s Abilities Detailed

While Skirk’s normal attack talent doesn’t contribute much, she delivers considerable damage through alternative skills:

    • Skirk gains 45 Serpent’s Subtlety points from using her Skill, regardless of whether you press or hold it. Pressing activates a special state while holding enables high-speed movement; during the special state, Skirk executes Cryo-infused normal attacks and can sprint.
    • Her Elemental Burst activates with 50 Serpent’s Subtlety, dealing heavy damage, but it’s typically better to utilize her second Burst, Havoc: Extinction, which boosts her normal attack damage in the special state without any cost.
    • If you do use her normal Elemental Burst, its damage increases for every Serpent’s Subtlety over 50, with a max of 62.
    • For every 2.5 seconds that her team triggers Frozen, Superconduct, Cryo Swirl, or Cryo Crystallize reactions, Skirk can summon a Void Rift. Up to three can be on the battlefield, and they can be absorbed via her Cryo-infused Charged Attack, Havoc: Extinction Burst, or the hold version of her Elemental Skill.
    • Each absorbed Void Rift grants eight Serpent’s Subtlety and further boosts the damage of her Cryo-infused normal attacks when using Havoc: Extinction Burst.
    • You’ll mainly trigger the Frozen reaction in her team because her allies can enhance her normal attack DMG by up to 170% when applying Hydro or Cryo damage, making it necessary to build around a Hydro/Cryo team.

You can find the general rotation for Skirk’s attacks in the team section below.

    Skirk’s Constellations Explained

If you’re investing in Skirk’s constellations, here’s what to expect in terms of buffs:

    1. Each consumed Void Rift can also inflict AoE damage equal to 500% of Skirk’s ATK, counting as charged attack damage.
    2. Skirk gains an extra ten Serpent’s Subtlety with her Skill, and her normal Burst can use an additional ten Subtlety for more damage. Additionally, using the Havoc: Extinction Burst increases her ATK by 70%.
    3. Her Elemental Burst can be leveled up by three.
    4. Aside from the normal attack damage from Hydro/Cryo, Skirk can gain up to 40% extra ATK with maximum stacks.
    5. Her Elemental Skill can also be leveled up by three.
    6. Skirk can accumulate stacks of Havoc: Sever while consuming Void Rifts, which can be triggered when she activates her normal Burst, uses Cryo-infused attacks from her Skill, or takes damage to deal extra damage to enemies.

    Skirk Talent Focus

Like every other Genshin Impact character, Skirk can upgrade three talents: normal attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst. However, as noted earlier, her normal attack is not particularly valuable since the multipliers for her Cryo-infused attacks are inherent to her Elemental Skill.

Focus on upgrading her Elemental Skill first, as it generates the majority of her damage, followed by her Burst.

    Top Weapons for Skirk

Weapon choice is essential for Skirk as the right sword can offer substantial bonuses. Her best option is her signature weapon, Azurelight. However, several alternatives are available depending on your account:

    Weapon Name

    Rarity

    Synergy with Skirk

    Azurelight

    Five-Star

This weapon not only grants a 22.1% Crit Rate from its secondary stat, but Skirk can also gain up to 48% ATK and 40% Crit DMG after using her Elemental Skill. This makes it the ideal weapon for her.

    Mistsplitter Reforged

    Five-Star

As Skirk receives a lot of free Crit Rate from certain artifacts and Cryo synergy, the Crit DMG from this weapon is highly beneficial. You can also gain another 40% Elemental DMG bonus.

    Haran Geppaku Futsu

    Five-Star

This sword offers substantial Crit Rate enhancement alongside a boost in Elemental DMG and normal attack DMG.

    Calamity of Eshu

    Four-Star

This weapon, available from a limited-time event, is an excellent F2P option, providing significant normal and charged attack DMG along with ATK and Crit Rate.

However, a shielder needs to be part of your team for optimal performance.

    The Black Sword

    Four-Star

Available through the battle pass, this sword provides bonuses to normal and charged attack DMG as well as Crit Rate.

    Blackcliff Longsword

    Four-Star

As a last resort, this sword is a solid option for Skirk if you lack the others.

    Top Artifacts for Skirk

Equipping two or four pieces of specific artifact sets on Skirk grants unique bonuses, but only a few offer the best synergy:

    Best Artifact Sets Ranked

    Synergy with Skirk

    Finale of the Deep Galleries

This set is perfectly suited for Skirk, offering a 15% Cryo DMG bonus and up to 60% increased normal and Burst DMG. Since the Havoc: Extinction Burst doesn’t deal damage, it maintains damage bonuses from this set.

    Marechaussee Hunter

This set also pairs well with Skirk, especially if you have her alongside Furina, providing up to 36% Crit Rate and 15% increased normal and charged attack DMG.

    Blizzard Strayer

This set can grant Cryo DMG Bonus and free Crit Rate for Skirk, though it’s less effective against bosses that cannot be frozen.

    Gladiator’s Finale

If you lack the previous sets, Gladiator’s Finale offers ATK and normal attack DMG boosts.

    Skirk Artifact Stat Focus

Being a Crit-focused DPS, Skirk can be tricky to build due to the significant free Crit Rate she may receive. For instance, using her signature weapon and the Marechaussee Hunter set can provide a 73% Crit Rate:

    • 36% Crit Rate from the four-piece Marechaussee set
    • 15% Crit Rate from Cryo resonance
    • 22% Crit Rate from her signature weapon

This doesn’t include the initial five percent Crit Rate that every character starts with.

This leaves minimal room for Crit Rate from her artifacts, requiring you to emphasize Crit DMG and other stats instead. Therefore, it’s advisable to utilize her designated set with the signature weapon or any other weapon that provides Crit Rate as the secondary stat. For the artifacts, focus on the following stats:

    Sands

    ATK Percent

    Goblet

Cryo DMG Bonus / ATK Percent

    Circlet

    Crit DMG > Crit Rate

    Sub-Stats

Crit Rate/DMG > ATK Percent > Elemental Mastery (optional)

    Optimal Skirk Teams

    Team Name

    Main Characters

    Alternative Characters

    Skirk Premium Team

    Skirk, Shenhe, Escoffier, Furina

    Citlali, Yelan

    Skirk F2P Team

    Skirk, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Dahlia

    Rosaria

To maximize Skirk’s damage output, she should primarily be paired with Hydro and Cryo characters. Suitable choices include Shenhe, Escoffier, Furina, Citlali, and Yelan, as they can provide various buffs, including damage output increases and enhanced ATK stats.

The first three characters will offer the most support to her attacks, boosting damage, ATK, and Cryo resistance. If you don’t have Furina, Yelan can serve as an alternative, while Citlali can sustain the team if Escoffier is unavailable, albeit with fewer boosts to Skirk.

It’s essential to include at least one Hydro character in the team for triggering the Frozen reaction.

For those lacking premium five-star characters, substitute with Chongyun, Dahlia, and Xingqiu. Using the F2P sword on Skirk makes Dahlia a viable choice, as he can boost her attack speed and provide a shield. Additionally, Chongyun can enhance her attack speed with his second constellation.

Your rotation with Skirk in a premium team should look something like this:

    • Start with Furina’s Skill, quickly switching to Escoffier for her Skill and Burst, which will begin triggering essential Frozen reactions for the Void Rifts. Afterward, return to Furina to utilize her Burst.
    • Switch to Shenhe and activate her Skill (hold version) along with her Burst before returning to Skirk. This timing should allow enough time to accumulate three Void Rifts.
    • With Skirk, engage your Elemental Skill, then immediately use your Burst to consume the Void Rifts. Following that, alternate to her normal attacks until her Skill expires.
    • If your Serpent’s Subtlety (displayed next to Skirk or in her Burst icon) is about to deplete, you can execute a charged attack to consume more Void Rifts and restore Serpent’s Subtlety.

Adjust this rotation slightly to accommodate your team composition, but the main goal is to start triggering Frozen reactions as swiftly as possible.

  • Dahlia Ascension & Talent Prep: Your Pre-Farming Guide

Dahlia Ascension & Talent Prep: Your Pre-Farming Guide

You can begin gathering materials for Dahlia in Genshin Impact as soon as you acquire him from the gacha banners or future release systems. This preparation will help you complete his Ascension and upgrade his Talents immediately. Dahlia is a deacon from the Church of Favonius, first introduced as a non-playable character in the Archon Quests of Version 5.6. He plays a crucial role in the storyline associated with Albedo and the Hexenzirkel, and is anticipated to be released in Version 5.7, alongside Skirk in Genshin Impact.

While HoYoverse has not officially confirmed Dahlia as a playable character, he is featured in the beta tests for Version 5.7, revealing many leaks about his abilities. These leaks suggest that Dahlia is a 4-star Hydro character who wields a sword in combat. According to the leaked information, Dahlia will function as a sustain unit, providing shields to protect his teammates. These shields can regenerate under specific conditions, such as triggering Frozen reactions, making him a valuable support for Skirk.

Click here for details on Dahlia’s required materials.

All of Dahlia’s Materials in Genshin Impact 5.7 Have Leaked

Pre-Farming Materials Based on Leaks Comes With a Risk

Ahead of his release, collecting Dahlia’s materials can be a smart move, as it allows you to immediately level him up to 90 and enhance his Talents once you have him. Since all leaked materials are already in the game, this could save time. However, it’s important to be cautious about potential changes to these items by HoYoverse during the beta tests for Version 5.7. You may find yourself needing to farm some materials again, which could be worthwhile given the benefits.

Ascension Materials to Pre-Farm for Dahlia in Genshin Impact

You Can Optimize a Few Farming Processes

As per the leaks (and rumors about him being a Hydro character), Dahlia will need Varunada Lazurite elemental stones for his Ascension. You can obtain Varunada Lazurite Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones from Hydro-related bosses like Oceanid, Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device, and Childe. However, I suggest farming these from the Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device in Natlan to streamline your efforts and reduce time spent grinding in Genshin Impact.

The following table lists all the materials needed for Dahlia’s Ascension, categorized by level requirements:

Dahlia Ascension Materials & Rewards In Genshin Impact

    Level Ascension

    Materials

    Rewards

    Level 20 Ascension

    • 1x Varunada Lazurite Sliver
    • 3x Firm Arrowhead
    • 3x Calla Lily
    • 20,000 Mora
    –

    Level 40 Ascension

    • 3x Varunada Lazurite Fragment
    • 15x Firm Arrowhead
    • 10x Calla Lily
    • 2x Secret Source Airflow Accumulator
    • 40,000 Mora
    –

    Level 50 Ascension

    • 6x Varunada Lazurite Fragment

    Level 80 Ascension

    • 6x Varunada Lazurite Gemstone
    • 24x Weathered Arrowhead
    • 60x Calla Lily
    • 20x Secret Source Airflow Accumulator
    • 120,000 Mora
    –

    Total Materials

    • 1x Varunada Lazurite Sliver
    • 9x Varunada Lazurite Fragment
    • 9x Varunada Lazurite Chunk
    • 6x Varunada Lazurite Gemstone
    • 18x Firm Arrowhead
    • 30x Sharp Arrowhead
    • 36x Weathered Arrowhead
    • 168x Calla Lily
    • 46x Secret Source Airflow Accumulator
    • 420,000 Mora
    –

The main advantage of farming Varunada Lazurite stones from the Secret Source Automaton: Overseer Device is that this boss also drops the Secret Source Airflow Accumulator, needed for Dahlia’s Ascension. This way, you can gather two types of materials in one go. Be prepared to face this world boss multiple times, as it may take a few days to acquire all the necessary materials.

Additionally, Dahlia’s Ascension will require Calla Lilies, a local specialty found primarily in Mondstadt, particularly around Springvale and near bodies of water. With only 53 nodes available on the map, harvesting them—since they respawn every 48 hours—could take over a week. Use the interactive map on HoYoLAB to locate Calla Lilies efficiently.

You can also gather Calla Lilies in your Serenitea Pot.

The leaks indicate that Dahlia will require Firm Arrowhead, Sharp Arrowhead, and Weathered Arrowhead as part of his Ascension materials. These materials drop from Hilichurl Shooters located throughout Teyvat. If you want to establish efficient farming routes, consider using the interactive map. Stock up on these materials, as they will also be needed for Dahlia’s Talent leveling. Don’t forget to utilize the Alchemy Table to convert lower-quality materials into rarer ones, including Varunada Lazurite stones and upcoming Talent books.

To fully Ascend Dahlia and reach all level thresholds, you’ll need 420,000 Mora, alongside 1,673,400 Mora for leveling up with Character EXP Materials. Consider engaging in Blossom of Wealth activities in Mondstadt for extra Mora. This can provide additional farming opportunities and encounters with Hilichurl Shooters, who drop the Arrowhead materials essential for his Ascension and Talents in Genshin Impact.

Talent Materials to Pre-Farm for Dahlia in Genshin Impact

Farming Talent Materials Can Take a While

Besides defeating Hilichurl Shooters for Arrowhead materials, you can acquire more from Paimon’s Bargains, though they have a monthly limit. Dahlia’s other Talent materials include Teachings of Ballad, Guide to Ballad, and Philosophies of Ballad, which can be farmed from the Forsaken Rift Domain in Mondstadt on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These Talent books are notably time-consuming to gather, potentially requiring weeks or even months to collect everything needed.

The table below outlines all the leaked Talent materials for Dahlia in Genshin Impact, according to Honey Hunter World:

Dahlia Talent Materials In Genshin Impact

    Teachings of Ballad

    –

    Guide to Ballad

    –

    Philosophies of Ballad

    –

    Firm Arrowhead

    –

    Sharp Arrowhead

    –

    Weathered Arrowhead

    –

    Eroded Scale-Feather

    –

    Crown of Insight

    –

    Mora

    –

As you advance in Talent levels, you’ll need to gather weekly boss materials. According to leaks, Dahlia’s weekly boss material is Eroded Scale-Feather, obtained from the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire in Genshin Impact. You’ll need 18 of these, but due to weekly boss limits and the uncertain drop rates, it could take months to collect all the necessary copies.

Use a Dream Solvent at the Alchemy Table to convert any excess drops from the boss, like Eroded Horn or Eroded Sunfire, into Eroded Scale-Feather.

You’ll also need three Crowns of Insight, one for each Talent. These can be obtained from specific limited-time events, reputation systems, and the battle pass. Additionally, you can acquire one Crown of Insight each month at Paimon’s Bargains, provided you have the necessary resources. Collectively, the process of leveling up Dahlia’s Talents costs roughly five million Mora, so keep this in mind when farming in Mondstadt for the main currency in Genshin Impact.

  • Skirk Ascension: A Pre-Farm Guide to Talent Materials

Skirk Ascension: A Pre-Farm Guide to Talent Materials

Sure! Here’s a rewritten, unique version of your content in American English.

Preparing to Farm Skirk’s Materials in Genshin Impact

Gathering Skirk’s materials in Genshin Impact ahead of her release is a strategic approach that allows you to level her up instantly, complete her Ascension stages, and maximize her Talents. Skirk holds significant importance in the game’s storyline as a legendary swordswoman who can navigate the Abyss. She was also a mentor to Tartaglia during his time there and is a follower of Surtalogi. While her official release in version 5.7 of Genshin Impact is not yet confirmed by developer HoYoverse, she is already part of ongoing beta testing.

With her involvement in the beta, it strongly suggests that Skirk will become a playable character in the next patch. Details regarding her gameplay have leaked, indicating her role as a Cryo damage dealer, although she may primarily be effective in Freeze team compositions rather than relying on reactions like Melt or Superconduct. The leaked kit for version 5.7 hints that she could potentially invigorate the Cryo meta, giving more relevance to that element in future updates.

For more details on her materials, check this link: View Skirk’s Materials Leaks.

All Skirk Materials Leaked for Genshin Impact 5.7

    Materials May Change

As mentioned, Skirk’s complete set of gameplay materials has been leaked. This includes her abilities and the materials necessary for both Ascension and Talent leveling, compiled on Honey Hunter World. You can see the materials needed for her progression, along with the quantity required for each upgrade. Pre-farming these materials could be advantageous, but it may also pose some risks.

Since the list of materials comes from testing for version 5.7, it’s generally trustworthy. Nevertheless, these materials are prone to change. This means that if you decide to pre-farm, you might end up with redundant resources if HoYoverse alters any of the materials before Skirk’s official launch. For instance, you might farm materials from a world boss only to discover they’ve been changed later.

Ascension Materials to Pre-Farm for Skirk in Genshin Impact

    Optimize Your Farming Efforts

As a Cryo character, Skirk is expected to use Shivada Jade elemental stones for her Ascension, according to leaked information. These stones are primarily obtained from Cryo-related world and weekly bosses. Enemies such as the Cryo Hypostasis, Aeonblight Drake, Maguu Kenki, Wayward Hermetic Spiritspeaker, Lupus Boreas, Childe, and La Signora drop these stones. You can also convert other elemental stones into Shivada Jade using Dust of Azoth at an Alchemy Table.

Here’s a breakdown of all the Ascension materials needed for Skirk, per the leaks:

    Level Ascension Materials Needed Rewards
Level 20 1x Shivada Jade Sliver
    3x Meshing Gear
    3x Skysplit Gembloom
    20,000 Mora
Level 40 3x Shivada Jade Fragment
    15x Meshing Gear
    10x Skysplit Gembloom
    2x Ensnaring Gaze
    40,000 Mora
Level 50 6x Shivada Jade Fragment
    12x Mechanical Spur Gear
    20x Skysplit Gembloom
    4x Ensnaring Gaze
    60,000 Mora
Level 60 3x Shivada Jade Chunk
    18x Mechanical Spur Gear
    30x Skysplit Gembloom
    8x Ensnaring Gaze
    80,000 Mora
Level 70 6x Shivada Jade Chunk
    12x Artificed Dynamic Gear
    45x Skysplit Gembloom
    12x Ensnaring Gaze
    100,000 Mora
Level 80 6x Shivada Jade Gemstone
    24x Artificed Dynamic Gear
    60x Skysplit Gembloom
    20x Ensnaring Gaze
    120,000 Mora
Total Materials 1x Shivada Jade Sliver
    9x Shivada Jade Fragment
    9x Shivada Jade Chunk
    6x Shivada Jade Gemstone
    18x Meshing Gear
    30x Mechanical Spur Gear
    36x Artificed Dynamic Gear
    168x Skysplit Gembloom
    46x Ensnaring Gaze
    420,000 Mora

Unfortunately, farming for Shivada Jade stones and the boss materials needed for Skirk’s Ascension can’t be coordinated efficiently. The world boss material needed for Skirk, Ensnaring Gaze, is obtained from the Tenebrous Papilla: Type I boss, which does not drop Shivada Jade stones. You’ll need to defeat this boss multiple times to collect all required copies. Given the daily Resin limits, this process could take several days. For reference, Ensnaring Gaze is also an Ascension material for Chasca.

Additionally, Skirk will need Skysplit Gembloom in her Ascension. This local specialty is found in Natlan, specifically in the Atocpan subregion. With only 49 spawn points available and 168 needed for Skirk, farming this material could take many days since local specialties respawn every 48 hours.

Tip: Use the official interactive map at HoYoLAB to locate Skysplit Gembloom spawns effectively.

To fully ascend Skirk, you’ll also need materials like Meshing Gear, Mechanical Spur Gear, and Artificed Dynamic Gear. These can be obtained from the Clockwork Meka enemies found across Fontaine. While they can be easily located in the Hydro region, utilizing the interactive map is useful for establishing efficient farming routes. These materials are not only crucial for Skirk’s Ascension but also for leveling her Talents, so farm abundantly. If you’ve previously collected materials for Escoffier, you might have extra Gears.

Finally, a total of 420,000 Mora is required to unlock all of Skirk’s Ascension levels and an additional 1,637,400 Mora to upgrade her to level 90 using Character EXP materials. While Mora can be gathered from various in-game activities, the most efficient method for acquiring it for Skirk is by participating in Blossom of Wealth challenges in Fontaine. This will also give you opportunities to encounter Clockwork Meka, boosting your Gear collection.

Talent Materials to Pre-Farm for Skirk in Genshin Impact

Your Material Grind May Stretch for Months

You can also gather Meshing Gear, Mechanical Spur Gear, and Artificed Dynamic Gear from Paimon’s Bargains, keeping in mind there’s a monthly cap on purchases. The leaks reveal that Skirk will depend on the Contention Talent books—Teachings of Contention, Guide to Contention, and Philosophies of Contention—which are collectable in the Blazing Ruins Domain in Natlan on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Due to their limited drop rates, accumulating all the necessary materials may take several weeks. Recently, these books were listed as requirements for Iansan in Genshin Impact.

Here’s a summary of the Talent materials needed for Skirk:

    Talent Material
    Teachings of Contention
    Guide to Contention
    Philosophies of Contention
    Meshing Gear
    Mechanical Spur Gear
    Artificed Dynamic Gear
    Ascended Sample: Knight
    Crown of Insight
    Mora

At higher Talent levels, Skirk will also require materials from weekly bosses. Specifically, she will need Ascended Sample: Knight, which is obtained from the The Game Before the Gate boss in Mondstadt. This boss was introduced with version 5.6 and provides materials for Ifa. You will need 18 copies of this weekly material, but obtaining them could take months due to the restrictions on weekly boss encounters in Genshin Impact. Therefore, starting early on your farming efforts will be beneficial.

To fully max out Skirk’s Talents, you’ll need three Crown of Insight— a rare material that can be acquired from selected limited-time events, reputation systems, or the battle pass. One can also be bought monthly from Paimon’s Bargains. Leveling up Skirk’s Talents will be quite costly, totaling around 4,957,500 Mora. As always, focusing on Blossom of Wealth activities in Fontaine will be the best strategy for maximizing your Gear gathering efforts for Skirk in Genshin Impact.

  • Ultimate Ifa Builds: Weapons, Artifacts, Teams, and Stats

Ultimate Ifa Builds: Weapons, Artifacts, Teams, and Stats

Equipping Ifa with optimal builds in Genshin Impact maximizes his potential as a Swirl DPS in team setups. However, he has specific abilities that need attention to unleash his full capabilities. Ifa, a 4-star Anemo character who uses a catalyst, debuted in Version 5.6 alongside Escoffier. Initially introduced as a non-playable character, Ifa became playable afterward. His diverse skill set enables him to fulfill multiple roles in the game.

When using his Elemental Skill, Ifa activates the Nightsoul’s Blessing state, floating with assistance from Cacucu. While in this state, he can execute Normal Attacks that inflict Anemo Swirl damage and also heal teammates. His Elemental Burst fires a unique shot that explodes, pulling nearby enemies into the blast’s center. This move inflicts area-of-effect Anemo damage; if it collides with an enemy affected by Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro, it deals corresponding elemental damage as well. Once you’ve gathered Ifa’s materials in Genshin Impact, it’s time to focus on his build.

Top Weapons for Ifa (Best Catalysts)

Here Are Some Good Options for the Character

    Custom Image by Bruno Yonezawa

To enhance Ifa’s effectiveness, you’ll want to select an optimal catalyst. The top choice for Ifa is Sunny Morning Sleep-In. This 5-star catalyst, also suitable for Mizuki, boasts a notable Elemental Mastery sub-stat (265 at level 90). Sunny Morning Sleep-In boosts Elemental Mastery by 120 for six seconds following a Swirl trigger. After the user’s Skill hits an enemy, Elemental Mastery rises by 96 for nine seconds. When the Burst hits, it increases Elemental Mastery by 32 for 30 seconds. This synergy complements Ifa’s gameplay.

The table below showcases the best builds for Ifa in Genshin Impact, highlighting the strongest weapons, recommended Artifacts, and ideal stats:

Ifa’s Optimal Build in Genshin Impact

    Weapon

    1. Sunny Morning Sleep-In (Top 5-star)
    2. A Thousand Floating Dreams (Alternative 5-star)
    3. Sacrificial Fragments (Best 4-star)
    4. Mappa Mare (Alternative 4-star)

    Artifact

    1. Viridiscent Venerer (4-piece set)
    2. Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City (4-piece set)

    Stat Priority

    1. Elemental Mastery
    2. Energy Recharge

    Skill Priority

    1. Elemental Skill
    2. Elemental Burst
    3. Normal Attack

A Thousand Floating Dreams is a solid second option for Ifa. This weapon matches the Elemental Mastery boost of its sub-stat but offers a unique skill. Users gain buffs based on the elemental types of their teammates. If a teammate shares an element with Ifa, Elemental Mastery increases by 32. If not, the user’s Elemental DMG Bonus rises by 10%, stacking up to three times. Nearby allies enjoy an additional 40 Elemental Mastery.

If neither 5-star weapon is available, the 4-star catalyst Sacrificial Fragments is the ideal choice for Ifa. This catalyst offers a decent Elemental Mastery sub-stat (221 at level 90). It also has a 40% chance to reset its Skill cooldown after damaging an enemy, with a cooldown of 30 seconds. Besides its Elemental Mastery boost in Genshin Impact, this weapon can allow timely skill usage.

Mappa Mare is a great F2P option for Ifa. While it features a lower Elemental Mastery sub-stat (110 at level 90), its ability grants an 8% Elemental DMG Bonus for 10 seconds after an Elemental Reaction is triggered, with a cap of two stacks. Since Mappa Mare can be crafted, you can easily max it out to R5 (Refinement Level 5). At R5, it boosts Elemental DMG Bonus by 16% for 10 seconds. Although not the strongest weapon, Mappa Mare is a valuable F2P option in Genshin Impact.

Top Artifacts & Stats for Ifa

Enhance the Character’s Elemental Mastery & Energy Recharge

Genshin Impact's Ifa stands in Natlan with Cacucu nesting on his hat.

For gear selection, Viridiscent Venerer is the optimal Artifact set for Ifa. With its two-piece bonus, players receive a 15% increase in Anemo DMG. The four-piece bonus amplifies Swirl DMG by 60% and reduces the enemies’ Elemental Resistance to the specific element in the Swirl reaction by 40% for 10 seconds.

Alternatively, you might consider the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City Artifact set to leverage Ifa’s Natlan affiliation and boost his Elemental DMG Bonus for the team. However, Viridiscent Venerer is generally more effective.

While farming Artifacts for Ifa, prioritize gathering Elemental Mastery and Energy Recharge. Higher Elemental Mastery enhances his damage and healing capabilities, while Energy Recharge ensures his Burst is available more often. Additionally, HP and DEF as sub-stats can help improve his survivability in Genshin Impact.

    Top Team Comps for Ifa

Ifa’s Best Team Combinations Are Somewhat Limited

The next step is to build a solid team around Ifa. Due to his passive talent, he excels with Swirl and Electro-Charged reactions, especially when paired with Natlan characters that utilize Nightsoul mechanics. To maximize this, pairing Ifa with Ororon in Genshin Impact is highly effective. Other suitable companions include Furina, Yelan, and Kazuha.

The table below provides some recommended team compositions for Ifa:

Ifa’s Optimal Team Compositions in Genshin Impact

    Electro-Charged Team

    • Ifa (Anemo Main DPS & Support)
    • Ororon (Electro Sub-DPS) or Raiden Shogun (Electro Sub-DPS)
    • Furina (Hydro Sub-DPS) or Yelan (Hydro Sub-DPS)
    • Kazuha (Anemo Support), Kuki Shinobu (Electro Support), or Yae Miko (Electro Sub-DPS)

    Free-to-Play Team

    • Ifa (Anemo Main DPS & Support)
    • Ororon (Electro Sub-DPS)
    • Xingqiu (Hydro Sub-DPS) or Fischl (Electro Sub-DPS)
    • Barbara (Hydro Support) or Kuki Shinobu (Electro Support)

If you want to explore other elemental reactions, focusing on his Swirl and high Elemental Mastery, consider using him as an Anemo DPS in Hyperbloom team setups. Characters like Ororon, Furina, and Nahida are excellent companions in Genshin Impact. While Ifa’s best team options are somewhat limited, his flexibility allows him to fit into various strategies.

    Talent Upgrade Priorities for Ifa

    Boost Ifa’s Skill First

Genshin Impact's Ifa in the Nightsoul's Blessing state uses Cacucu to fly around and fire shots.

Focus on leveling Ifa’s Elemental Skill first. This is foundational to his main DPS role, and upgrading it will boost his damage output significantly. Following that, prioritize his Elemental Burst, as it plays a vital role in his combat cycle. Last in the upgrade order would be Ifa’s Normal Attack, which often receives less attention.

Ifa features a straightforward build, requiring primarily Elemental Mastery and Energy Recharge. While his potential as a DPS doesn’t match that of some 5-star Elemental Mastery DPS characters, he offers quick play options and can support a sustainable team strategy, particularly when paired with characters like Furina or Kuki Shinobu in Genshin Impact.

  • Completing the Top Escoffier Teams in Genshin Impact

Completing the Top Escoffier Teams in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is continually adding new characters, featuring seven elements and five weapon types. One of the latest additions is Escoffier, released in the Version 5.6 update. She wields a Polearm and has a Cryo element.

Originating from Fontaine, Escoffier stands out with a passive ability that significantly reduces Hydro and Cryo resistance for her teammates. This makes her a vital component in Freeze team strategies, allowing players to tackle high-level challenges more effectively.

    Best Team for Escoffier

    Kamisato Ayaka/Wriothesley

    Main DPS

    Escoffier

    Sub-DPS/Support

    Shenhe

    Buffer

    Furina

    Sub-DPS/Buffer

Before forming teams around Escoffier, it’s essential to note that she can deal solid off-field damage via her Skill, while her Burst heals all allies initially and then the active character every second for the next nine seconds. The standout feature of her abilities is one of her passive skills.

This passive allows for a reduction of enemy Hydro and Cryo resistance by up to 55% when there are four characters of these elements in your party. This effect decreases to 15% with fewer characters and is less effective with only one or two Hydro and Cryo teammates.

This makes Escoffier particularly effective in full Freeze teams, as you need that 55% resistance reduction to maximize her value.

Her optimal team would include a primary Cryo DPS, along with herself, Shenhe, and Furina, especially if you have her first constellation, which grants all Cryo characters in your party an extra 60% Crit Damage. Kamisato Ayaka is the ideal main DPS for this team, with Wriothesley as a suitable alternative.

Shenhe significantly boosts Cryo main DPS characters, providing extra damage and reducing the enemy’s Cryo and Physical resistance. Furina acts as the primary Hydro applicator in this setup, triggering Freeze reactions, making it simpler for Ayaka to deal damage. Additionally, her Burst can enhance the team’s overall damage as long as allies have HP to spare.

For optimal use of Furina’s Burst, stack as much Attack as possible on Escoffier.

Aim to fully heal your characters every time Escoffier activates her Burst to maximize Furina’s effectiveness.

Here’s how the team rotation should go:

    • Start with Furina’s Skill and Burst since they have the longest duration, then switch to Escoffier, using her Skill and Burst.
    • Quickly follow up with Shenhe’s actions before switching to Ayaka to perform her combo.
    • Use the Hold version of Shenhe’s Skill and execute a few basic attacks with Ayaka to activate Shenhe’s stacks. Then, follow up with her Skill and Burst, attacking for a bit before returning to Furina and repeating.

Hydro Main DPS Team Featuring Escoffier

Genshin Impact team with Escoffier, Neuvillette, Furina, and Citlali.

    Neuvillette/Mualani

    Main DPS

    Escoffier

    Sub-DPS/Support

    Furina/Yelan

    Sub-DPS/Support

    Shenhe/Xingqiu

    Support

If you’re using Escoffier without her first constellation, pairing her with a Hydro main DPS like Mualani or Neuvillette is effective. Neuvillette has remained strong since his introduction, while Mualani lost some viability as newer characters emerged.

For teams featuring Neuvillette, it’s best to include Furina and Shenhe or Citlali, as Neuvillette relies on Charged Attacks and may not sync well with Yelan or Xingqiu. Conversely, Mualani benefits more from those two characters.

Citlali brings additional utility to Neuvillette’s team by reducing Hydro resistance of enemies after triggering the Frozen reaction.

However, if you want Escoffier to deal more damage, Shenhe is a good option, though the team’s total damage output will decrease.

Below are the rotations for both teams:

    Neuvillette Team

    • Begin with Neuvillette’s Skill to create three spheres and activate cooldown.
    • Switch to Furina to use her Skill and Burst, followed by Citlali who should do the same. Ensure Citlali has sufficient Energy Recharge for good uptime.
    • Then transition to Escoffier, using her Skill and Burst before Neuvillette executes his first Charged Attack with the spheres.
    • Finally, activate Neuvillette’s Skill and Burst again before executing three more Charged Attacks. After this, you can switch back to Furina and repeat the process. Note that after the first repetition, you won’t have the initial three spheres for Neuvillette.

    Mualani Team

    • The rotation for this team is tighter, and you’ll need higher Energy Recharge for Escoffier since she’s the only Cryo unit. However, her Burst isn’t always necessary as no characters will lower your HP.
    • Start with Xingqiu’s and Yelan’s Skill and Burst, followed by Escoffier.
    • Next, switch to Mualani and activate her Skill, ensuring to run through enemies three times before performing a buffed Normal Attack, triggering Yelan and Xingqiu’s additional damage instances.
    • Act quickly with Mualani’s attacks, as her Nightsoul depletes fast, but can be slightly restored with the pufferfish that appears after the buffed attack.

    Escoffier F2P-Friendly Team

Genshin Impact team with Escoffier, Freminet, Xingqiu, and Mika.

    Freminet

    Main DPS

    Escoffier

    Sub-DPS/Support

    Xingqiu

    Sub-DPS/Hydro Applicator

    Mika

    Buffer

Among gacha games, Genshin Impact is particularly accommodating for free-to-play players, presenting a wide selection of four-star characters that can effectively replace five-star ones. This is especially beneficial for new players eager to use Escoffier without waiting for future updates to assemble her optimal team.

Escoffier’s free-to-play team features Freminet, Xingqiu, and Mika, each fulfilling important roles. Freminet serves as the main DPS, capable of dealing both Physical and Cryo damage depending on his Pers Timer level after using his Skill. Since he can inflict both types of damage, Mika becomes crucial in the lineup by boosting Freminet’s Physical Damage.

Mika provides Freminet with several stacks that enhance his Physical Damage by 10 percent each, and he also boosts Freminet’s attack speed.

This speed increase is vital because Freminet is a Claymore character, which typically has slower attack animations.

Xingqiu functions as the Hydro applicator for the team, enabling Freminet to trigger multiple Shatter instances, significantly increasing his Crit Damage if his final constellation is active. Here’s how the rotation should look for this team:

    • Start with Xingqiu’s Skill and Burst, then Mika’s, followed by Escoffier. This sequence will provide Hydro application, Physical Damage boosts, and Cryo resistance reduction for Freminet. Use the Hold version of Mika’s Skill.
    • After that, switch to Freminet to activate his Skill, perform four Basic Attacks, and then use his Burst, allowing for constant Skill use for the following ten seconds.
    • During this duration, keep repeating the sequence by using Freminet’s Skill followed by four to five Basic Attacks.
  • Complete Guide to Building Weapons and Artifacts in Genshin Impact

Complete Guide to Building Weapons and Artifacts in Genshin Impact

If you’ve been enjoying Genshin Impact for a while, you probably realize that typically, only one five-star character is introduced each update. This makes it relatively easy to collect all the characters in the game. Escoffier is the latest five-star character introduced in the Version 5.6 update.

Originating from Fontaine, Escoffier wields a Cryo polearm and is known for her ability to deal significant off-field damage while enhancing Freeze-focused team compositions. Building her is straightforward; she’ll only require a few specific stats to maximize her potential.

    Complete Escoffier Build Guide

When creating a build for Escoffier in Genshin Impact, focus on two main gear types: weapons and artifacts. Your choice of weapon will provide essential stats like flat ATK, a secondary stat from the weapon, and a unique passive ability. Meanwhile, the right artifact set can offer additional buffs through its two- and four-piece bonuses.

The top weapon and artifact set for Escoffier is undoubtedly the Symphonist of Scents, her signature weapon, paired with Blizzard Strayer. The former boosts ATK for her and her teammates, while the latter aids in her role as sub-DPS. If you don’t have access to these top choices, there are plenty of good alternatives available:

    Best Weapon

    Symphonist of Scents

    Alternate Weapons

    1. Calamity Queller
    2. Engulfing Lightning
    3. Favonius Lance
    4. Staff of Homa
    5. Prospector’s Drill
    6. Tamayuratei no Ohanashi
    7. Missive Windspear

    Best Artifact Set

    Blizzard Strayer

    Alternate Artifact Sets

    1. Golden Troupe
    2. Noblesse Oblige
    3. Tenacity of the Millelith

    Sands Main Stat Priority

    ATK Percent

    Goblet Main Stat Priority

ATK Percent > Cryo DMG Bonus

    Circlet Main Stat Priority

Crit DMG > Crit Rate > ATK Percent

    Sub-Stat Priority

Crit Rate/DMG, ATK Percent, Energy Recharge

It’s advisable to build Escoffier as a sub-DPS since she primarily needs ATK and Energy Recharge for her support role, making it easier to acquire.

However, if you believe your main DPS can manage all combat scenarios, you can opt to make her a support character, saving both resources and time.

The main stat on each of Escoffier’s artifact pieces can vary depending on the type of build and the characters she’s paired with. Here’s what to consider for each piece:

    • The Sands piece should generally prioritize ATK Percent. If you pair her with Engulfing Lightning, Energy Recharge can also work as the main stat.
    • For the Goblet, there’s little difference in damage between Cryo DMG Bonus and ATK Percent, but since her healing is based on ATK, using an ATK Goblet would enhance her healing, especially if combined with characters like Furina.
    • Finally, for a Crit Circlet, prioritize Crit DMG if you’re building her as sub-DPS, particularly with Blizzard Strayer. For a support build, ATK Percent is sufficient.

    Best Escoffier Weapons

    Genshin Impact escoffier weapon screen.

When selecting Escoffier’s weapon, it’s crucial to consider why each weapon is suitable, as their effectiveness varies with different play styles:

    Weapon Name

    Build Type

    Synergy With Escoffier

    Symphonist of Scents

    Both

As her signature weapon, the Syphonist of Scents suits Escoffier exceptionally well, especially enhancing her sub-DPS role with its impressive 66.2% Crit DMG secondary stat. Additionally, it boosts her ATK by up to 56% while offering a 32% ATK increase for the whole team.

    Calamity Queller

    Both

With a high base ATK and a 16.5% ATK secondary stat, Calamity Queller is effective for both builds, providing a 12% Cryo DMG bonus and overall utility.

    Engulfing Lightning

    Support

This weapon enhances Escoffier’s support build, focusing on both ATK and Energy Recharge, and provides additional ATK if your Energy Recharge exceeds 100%.

    Favonius Lance

    Support

Favonius weapons are well-regarded for their utility in support roles, allowing Escoffier to activate her Burst more frequently.

    Staff of Homa

    Sub-DPS

While not a perfect fit, Staff of Homa remains a strong choice for a DPS build, providing excellent Crit DMG and additional ATK scaling with Max HP.

    Prospector’s Drill

    Sub-DPS

This weapon boasts a 27.6% ATK secondary stat, providing a substantial ATK and Elemental DMG bonus after the first rotation.

    Tamayuratei no Ohanashi

    Support

Delivering 30.6% Energy recharge alongside significant ATK when max refined makes this weapon an excellent option for Escoffier.

    Missive Windspear

    Both

This weapon provides 41.3% ATK and bonus stats following elemental reactions, fitting well into her kit.

You can still opt for support weapons on Escoffier’s sub-DPS build, but achieving the right stats through her artifacts may be more challenging.

    Best Escoffier Artifacts

    Genshin Impact escoffier artifact screen.

Genshin Impact frequently introduces new domains throughout its world, each offering two artifact sets for players to farm. Some artifact sets are situational and tailored for specific characters, while others can be used more broadly. Most of Escoffier’s optimal artifact sets are versatile, making them suitable for her teammates as well.

As previously noted, Escoffier’s top artifact set is Blizzard Strayer, which has been available since the game’s early days. You can farm this set by participating in its domain or crafting it at an Alchemy Table. Here’s why these sets work well for her:

    Artifact Set

    Build Type

    Synergy With Escoffier

    Blizzard Strayer

    Both

This set offers a 15% Cryo DMG bonus with the two-piece, and if you equip the four-piece set while attacking a Frozen enemy, you can gain up to 40% Crit Rate. Since Freeze mechanics are central to Escoffier’s kit, this set is highly synergistic.

    Golden Troupe

    Sub-DPS

Escoffier gains most of her damage from her Elemental Skill in a sub-DPS role, and this set can amplify that damage by up to 70%, provided she maintains a solid Crit Ratio.

    Noblesse Oblige

    Support

While not the ideal choice, Noblesse Oblige can still enhance Escoffier’s support role by providing a 20% ATK boost to her party members.

    Tenacity of the Millelith

    Support

This set is a good alternative for players who lack the other artifact sets, offering a similar ATK boost without providing as much utility for Escoffier’s play style.

While there are four artifact set options available, your main goal should be to target either Blizzard Strayer or Golden Troupe.

    Escoffier Talent Overview and Priority

    Genshin Impact escoffier ultimate animation.

Escoffier’s kit is straightforward, yet it can offer significant value when placed in the right teams:

    • Her Elemental Skill deals AoE damage on activation, with the majority of its output coming from a cooking pot that follows your active character, unleashing Cryo attacks every second. The skill maintains a 100% uptime, as the off-field damage lasts longer than its cooldown.
    • Her Elemental Burst functions similarly to her skill but focuses on healing the team. Upon activation, it heals all allies based on her ATK and provides additional healing to the active character each second for nine seconds.
    • Escoffier’s passive, Inspiration-Immersed Seasoning, grants a reduction in Cryo or Hydro resistance, depending on the number of characters of those elements in your team. This buff can trigger often as a result of her ability to hit enemies.

    Escoffier Talent Priority

Every character in Genshin Impact can upgrade three talents, including Escoffier. Her passives will unlock as you progress, and the priority for upgrades should focus on her Elemental Skill if you’re positioning her as a sub-DPS. Alternatively, upgrade her Burst first if she’s serving as a support character.

Her normal attack is less relevant, as players usually don’t rely on it in the rotation. Typically, Escoffier will use her Skill followed by her Burst before switching out, minimizing her time spent in combat.

Should You Go for Escoffier Constellation or Weapon?

    Genshin Impact escoffier constellation screen.

If you’ve acquired Escoffier and are considering further investment, you have mainly two options: her first constellation or her weapon. The effect of her first constellation enhances Cryo characters’ Crit DMG by 60%, but only when paired with all Cryo or Hydro team members.

While the constellation is beneficial for Cryo teams, her weapon serves a broader purpose and can enhance ATK for all teammates. In general, her weapon offers more value, making it the preferable choice.

Escoffier’s constellations beyond the first do not offer significant value, making it a worthwhile stopping point unless you’re aiming to unlock all of them.

  • Complete Guide to Ifa Ascension & Talent Materials (Pre-Farm)

Complete Guide to Ifa Ascension & Talent Materials (Pre-Farm)

You can begin gathering the materials needed for Ifa in Genshin Impact if you aim to fully level him up and enhance his Talents. Ifa is one of the two new playable characters debuting with Version 5.6, alongside Escoffier. HoYoverse has confirmed that Ifa is an Anemo character from Natlan, having previously appeared as an NPC in the Version 5.5 World Quests. While specific gameplay details about Ifa remain limited, leaks about his abilities for Genshin Impact 5.6 have surfaced, providing insight into how he will perform in combat.

According to these leaks, Ifa will activate his Elemental Skill to enter a state called Nightsoul’s Blessing, allowing him to float around with the help of Cacucu. In this state, Ifa can launch targeted Normal Attacks to inflict Anemo DMG on enemies. Additionally, he can use these attacks to heal his teammates, giving his kit some similarities to Barbara’s abilities. Ifa can also assist in controlling crowds during battles, as his Elemental Burst enables him to shoot a powerful projectile that generates a wind current in Genshin Impact, drawing in nearby foes.

All Ifa Materials in Genshin Impact Have Leaked

    Pre-Farming Can Be Risky

To maximize Ifa’s potential, you’ll first need to ascend him and level him up to 90, alongside enhancing his Talents. This means pre-farming Ifa’s materials is essential. While developer HoYoverse hasn’t officially listed these materials yet, leaks have provided information on the types of items and the quantities required. The full list of Ifa’s materials has been leaked and is available on Honey Hunter World. Players interested in obtaining him may want to start collecting these materials based on the leaked information.

    The Benefits of Pre-Farming

Pre-farming allows you to upgrade Ifa quickly when you acquire him, minimizing the time spent grinding after he’s added to your roster. However, there is a caveat: since these materials are based on leaks, they could change before the character is officially released. This means that some of your farming efforts might end up being in vain if HoYoverse adjusts the required items in Genshin Impact. If you’re comfortable with this risk, then pre-farming is definitely advisable.

Ascension Materials to Pre-Farm for Ifa in Genshin Impact

Use the Interactive Map to Optimize Your Farming Efforts

Since Ifa is confirmed to be an Anemo character, you can safely gather Vayuda Turquoise stones. These materials are unlikely to change because Ifa’s element is set. You can harvest Vayuda Turquoise from Anemo-related bosses in the game, including Tenebrous Papilla, Maguu Kenki, Solitary Suanni, Stormterror, and Shouki no Kami, the Prodigal. Unfortunately, you can’t combine the farming of Vayuda Turquoise with that of world boss materials, as the boss that drops the material Ifa needs does not drop Vayuda Turquoise.

The table below outlines all of Ifa’s Ascension materials in Genshin Impact along with their quantities needed for each level:

    Level Ascension Materials Rewards
Level 20 Ascension – 1x Vayuda Turquoise Sliver
    – 3x Juvenile Fang
    – 3x Saurian Claw Succulent
    – 20,000 Mora
Level 40 Ascension – 3x Vayuda Turquoise Fragment
    – 15x Juvenile Fang
    – 10x Saurian Claw Succulent
    – 2x Sparkless Statue Core
    – 40,000 Mora
Level 50 Ascension – 6x Vayuda Turquoise Fragment
    – 12x Seasoned Fang
    – 20x Saurian Claw Succulent

    – 168x Saurian Claw Succulent
    – 46x Sparkless Statue Core
    – 420,000 Mora

According to the leaks, the Sparkless Statue Core is the weekly boss material that Ifa will require for his Ascension. This item drops exclusively from the Lava Dragon Statue world boss in Atocpan, within the Natlan region. The Lava Dragon Statue was introduced in Version 5.5. So far, Sparkless Statue Core has only been needed for Varesa’s Ascension, and Ifa may soon require it as well.

The local specialty item for Ifa is the Saurian Claw Succulent. This material can be located around the Sulfurous Veins area in Natlan. You will need a total of 168 of these, and there are only 90 nodes available to collect from on the map. As a result, you’ll need to go through at least two separate farming routes across different days to gather all of the required materials, given that Local Specialties respawn only after 48 hours.

    Use the Official Interactive Map

Don’t forget to utilize the official Interactive Map on HoYoLAB to find the exact locations of all the Saurian Claw Succulents in Natlan, making your farming endeavors smoother.

Additionally, you’ll need to collect Juvenile Fang, Seasoned Fang, and Tyrant’s Fang, which drop from Natlan Saurians found throughout the Nation of Pyro. These drops are random, so you’ll have to defeat numerous Saurians. Importantly, these materials are also necessary for Ifa’s Talent leveling process, so be sure to stock up as much as possible. Again, you can use the Interactive Map to filter out Saurian locations in Genshin Impact.

Lastly, you should keep in mind that you’ll need Mora for Ifa’s materials to facilitate the Ascension process. Unlocking all level thresholds will cost you a total of 420,000 Mora, and if you choose to level Ifa using Character EXP Materials, it will require an additional 1,673,400 Mora. If you need more Mora or EXP materials, farm them through the Blossom of Wealth or Blossom of Revelation activities, respectively. It’s wise to perform these activities in Natlan to also gather more Fang materials for Ifa, as they present opportunities to encounter Natlan Saurians in Genshin Impact.

Talent Materials to Pre-Farm for Ifa in Genshin Impact

The Weekly Boss Material Can’t Be Pre-Farmed

In addition to Fang materials, you’ll need to prepare extra copies that can be purchased monthly from Paimon’s Bargains. Ifa’s leaked Talent materials also indicate that Justice books will be required. The Teachings of Justice, Guide to Justice, and Philosophies of Justice can be farmed exclusively from the Blazing Ruins Domain in Natlan, which is only available on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Talent books can be tricky to pre-farm due to the daily farming restrictions in Genshin Impact, so it’s recommended to start collecting these as soon as possible.

The table below lists all the materials necessary for Ifa’s Talents:

    Talent Materials Usage
    Teachings of Conflict Talent Leveling
    Guide to Conflict Talent Leveling
    Philosophies of Conflict Talent Leveling
    Juvenile Fang Talent Leveling
    Seasoned Fang Talent Leveling
    Tyrant’s Fang Talent Leveling
    Weekly Boss Material Talent Leveling
    Crown of Insight Talent Leveling
    Mora Talent Leveling

The leaks suggest that Ifa will require a currently unnamed weekly boss material, represented by a chess pawn icon. This material has yet to be named, but is expected to drop from a new weekly boss in Genshin Impact 5.6 that will be located in Mondstadt. Pre-farming for this item won’t be possible, and it may take months to gather enough copies to fully enhance Ifa’s Talents.

As with any character, Ifa will also need one Crown of Insight to elevate each Talent to its highest level—totaling three Crowns. These can be obtained through specific limited-time events, via the reputation system, included in the battle pass, or purchased monthly at Paimon’s Bargains. Finally, you will need to allocate a staggering 4,957,500 Mora to completely upgrade all of Ifa’s Talents in Genshin Impact, so it’s best to start farming now to ease your workload once you finally acquire him.
