Where To Find All Banandium Gems and Solving in All-You-Can-Eat Tower Donkey Kong Bananza

    All-You-Can-Eat Tower Challenge

The All-You-Can-Eat Tower is a tough obstacle course in Donkey Kong Bananza, found in the Forest Layer. The entrance is at the very back of the Eggshell Hotel, right below where the Elder Ostrich sits.

To beat this level, you need to navigate through a muddy path while Munchoids attack from different directions. There are three hidden Banandium Gems scattered around, and collecting them earns Skill Points that unlock new abilities or powers.

Where to Find the First Banandium Gem

The first gem is the hardest to find. It’s right at the start of the level, during the section with Munchoids. When you step into the mud, stay on the right side and quickly pass the first enemy. Use the second Munchoid as a bridge by waiting for it to come closer, then running across its back to reach the gem hidden behind a wall.

Where to Find the Second Banandium Gem

The second gem is at the end of the first part of the course. The path there is covered in mud and slows you down. You can jump or roll to pass through the mud and avoid enemies along the way.

Where to Find the Third Banandium Gem

The last gem is at the very top of the tower at the end of the level. Climb the tower and punch through the brown material to avoid Munchoids and collect the final gem.

    How to Complete All-You-Can-Eat Tower

The easiest way to get through the first part is to either press ZL to roll quickly through the mud or jump along the path, keeping an eye out for Munchoids coming your way.

    Climbing the Tower

The second part involves climbing a tower while avoiding Munchoids. Start climbing from the left side to stay away from the first enemy. Punch through the brown material, then move to the right to dodge the next Munchoid. Repeat punching and moving left or right to reach the top of the tower and finish the challenge.

  • Completing the Hidden Banandium Gems in Thorny Hill Speed Surf

Thorny Hill Speed Surf is a challenging course in Donkey Kong Bananza. You can find the entrance in the second main area, called Hilltop Layer, northeast of the Construction Site Teleport spot at the base of a small mountain.

This level requires you to use Donkey Kong’s Turf Surf ability to navigate a tricky obstacle course filled with thorns and spike walls. Like other challenge courses in Donkey Kong Bananza, there are three hidden Banandium Gems in Thorny Hill Speed Surf that can be hard to locate if you don’t know where to look.

Where To Find The First Banandium Gem

You will get the first Banandium Gem for completing the challenge course within the time limit. You have exactly 60 seconds to reach the finish line, which should be enough time once you understand the route.

Instead of breaking the floor, use one of the boulders that falls from an enemy before the starting line for Turf Surf. They are smaller and will make your journey easier.

Where To Find The Second Banandium Gem

You can earn the second Banandium Gem by finishing the course with twenty seconds left. Practice is key, so you may need to play through the level a few times to find the fastest and safest path.

Don’t worry about dodging the spike walls; you should be able to jump over them to save time.

Where To Find The Third Banandium Gem

The final Banandium Gem is hidden at the very end of the course, behind the barrel that sends you back to the overworld. There is a wall behind the barrel. Jump over it to get your prize.

How To Complete Thorny Hill Speed Surf

First, prepare for the challenge by grabbing your ride. Instead of damaging the floor, use one of the boulders from an enemy. To do this, simply hit R2 while facing an enemy to take the boulder off its back, then hit L2 to start Turf Surf.

Press Y to speed up, and jump over the spike walls to save time. Your boulder gets smaller the more you move, but you won’t need to replace it until you reach the second enemy on the course.

There are two shortcuts marked with Banana Chips that can help save a few seconds on your run. Stay steady and avoid unnecessary movements to take these shortcuts easily, so you can reach the finish line with time to spare.

Completing the Quest for the Middle Banandium Gem in DK Bananza

Red-Hot Rotations is a Challenge Course found in the Freezer Layer of Donkey Kong Bananza. It might sound strange at first, but it fits the theme well since hot lava is a key feature here that players need to avoid.

Like many Challenge Courses, the first and last Banandium Gems are easy to find. The first gem is right in the middle along the main path, while the last gem is at the end, just before you exit. The second gem is the tricky one, but we’re here to help you find it.

Where To Find The Missing Banandium Gem In Red-Hot Rotations

The second Banandium Gem is located at the end of the course. When you reach the final platform with the gem in sight, run straight across from where you just climbed up. You’ll find a secret ledge below.

Drop down and wait for a gap in the lava. If you move quickly, you can get to the ledge you just climbed. Hold onto the wall until it’s clear, then shimmy to the right with the lava rotations until you reach the hidden alcove. Inside, you’ll find the secret Banandium Gem and a barrel cannon to take you back up.

    How To Complete Red-Hot Rotations

If you’re having a hard time getting started in Red-Hot Rotations, don’t worry. The key is to simply get going.

Throughout the level, you will see rotating lava circles. These circles can be on the floor or around columns. Near these, you’ll encounter stone sphere enemies that speed up and charge at you. Hit these enemies once to expose their gold core, then hit them again to push them into the lava and clear a path.

After clearing the path, all you need to do is run into the safe areas and keep moving until you reach the top of the tower.

  • Completing the Quest: Solving Every Banandium Gem in Donkey Kong Bananza

Spiked-Tide Slope is an obstacle course found in Donkey Kong Bananza, situated in the game’s second major area, Hilltop Layer. You can access this stage by heading to the base of the banana-shaped mountain, which is just across from Fractone Village.

In this level, Donkey Kong and Pauline must run up a hill filled with various threats. Like other challenge courses in Donkey Kong Bananza, there are three hidden Banandium Gems to discover throughout the stage. Collecting these gems will earn you valuable stat points to unlock new skills and abilities.

    Locating the First Banandium Gem

The first Banandium Gem is positioned at the top of the first slope. Be cautious of spiked rolling balls that can cause damage. To protect yourself for a short time, press R1 on the glowing floor spots to lift them.

Tip: The spiked balls roll in a regular pattern. If you observe closely, you can time your movements to reach the first Banandium Gem more easily.

    Finding the Second Banandium Gem

The second Banandium Gem is located at the very end of the course, serving as a reward for completing the stage. To get it, all you need to do is survive the challenges on Spiked-Tide Slope and make it to the top.

    Discovering the Third Banandium Gem

You can find the third Banandium Gem beneath the platform that holds the second collectible and a barrel which can launch you back to the overworld. To access this gem, jump off the left or right side of the last bridge you encounter to land in a hidden area. Here, you’ll find two Boom Bombs. Aim one at the ceiling’s concrete and the other at the concrete containing the spiked balls.

After using the Boom Bombs, turn around from where you found them and climb the pillar to reach a part of the ceiling you can climb on. Follow this path until you can drop down and collect your reward.

Warning: The Boom Bombs do not respawn. If you miss, you will have to restart the stage to try again.

    Completing Spiked-Tide Slope

Your first challenge is a small incline with a stream of spiked balls rolling down. You can either activate R1 on the glowing sections of the floor for protection or learn the spiked balls’ movement pattern to avoid them on your way up.

Upon reaching the top, you’ll encounter a longer path filled with even more spiked balls. Thankfully, you can find Boom Bombs on the ground to alter their trajectory. Aim to blow up an area on the edge of the map so that the balls roll off and clear part of the path for your journey.

You will encounter another area with more Boom Bombs, which you can use to create a fresh path for the spiked balls. After managing this section, simply cross the bridge to finish the course.

  • Completing Every Banandium Gem Location on Hangin’ On Roof Road

Hangin’ On Roof Road is a challenging course in Donkey Kong Bananza, found at the start of the Lagoon Layer in SL100. You’ll spot it on a hill above the Reservoir Hills Teleport area, which is easy to access by climbing the mountains on the left after fast-traveling there.

As the name suggests, this level has you gripping onto a ceiling while navigating around obstacles and enemies to reach the finish line. To make it more challenging, there are three hidden Banandium Gems scattered throughout the stage. Finding these gems will help you earn stat points for new skills and upgrades.

Where to Find the First Banandium Gem

The first Banandium Gem can be located on the platform underneath the first and second roof pathways. Simply pass by the first couple of enemies and the moving walls to collect your first gem.

Tip: The moving walls often have openings that allow you to keep hanging onto the ceiling. You can also press Y to punch and break through many of them.

Where to Find the Second Banandium Gem

The second Banandium Gem is the most challenging to find in the entire course. When you grab onto the second pathway, use the openings in the walls to go left when you’re about halfway down. You can either take the openings or punch through walls to discover a hidden path on the right. You’ll find the collectible behind a breakable wall after dropping down from this secret route.

Where to Find the Third Banandium Gem

The final Banandium Gem is located at the very end of the course, right next to the barrel that sends you back to the Lagoon Layer. Clear both pathways to reach the finish line and claim your last reward for Hangin’ On Roof Road.

How to Complete Hangin’ On Roof Road

As soon as the level starts, walk up the ramp in front of you, move to the right, and jump to grab the ceiling with the iron grate. You can wait for the moving walls to pass before climbing past, or punch them to clear your way. Be cautious of the enemy in this section, which you can also take out by punching.

At the end of the first path, you’ll face three spinning walls and another enemy. Try to lure the enemy towards you to deal with it first, then slip through the openings in the walls to reach a platform where you can take a breather.

The second pathway features larger moving walls with openings in different locations. Don’t rush through this area; take your time, find the holes where the walls can pass without bumping you off, and you should navigate to the end of the course without any trouble.

  • Completing the Missing Bananadium Gem in Donkey Kong Bananza

Completing the Missing Bananadium Gem in Donkey Kong Bananza

Crossing Through Crosshairs is a Challenge Course located at The Junction, an intriguing layer in Donkey Kong Bananza. Unlike other levels, this one serves more as a bridge to the deeper levels below. While it’s smaller than other areas, it still keeps some surprises in store, including the Crossing Through Crosshairs challenge.

This Challenge Course is relatively straightforward. You only have to step on a moving platform, navigate a corner, and then step onto another moving platform. But there’s a twist: the world may be crumbling around you, and it can be hard to focus when you’re also dodging massive lasers that are constantly firing at you.

Where to Find the Middle Bananadium Gem in Crossing Through Crosshairs

In most of these brief Challenge Courses, you’ll find the first Bananadium Gem at the beginning and the last one at the end. We’ll share some tips for those who might find this course challenging. For now, let’s locate the hidden Bananadium Gem.

When you’re on the second platform, you’ll encounter a wall made of Neptunite. The game expects you to perform a Kong Bananza move to break through, which seems logical. However, take a closer look: the walls are climbable. If you grab onto them, you’ll find a softer wall above the Neptunite that you can punch through.

Inside this alcove, you’ll discover the second Bananadium Gem. Once you have it, you can quickly run and jump ahead to reach the end more rapidly, saving time that you would otherwise spend evading the lasers.

How to Complete Crossing Through Crosshairs

The concept of this level is simple: you’re floating on a tiny platform, and it’s only a matter of time before the lasers start hitting and destroying parts of it. The key is to draw the missiles to areas where they cause minimal damage, so you can keep as much of the platform intact as possible.

During the first stage, stay near the back of the platform. As you move into the laser fire, this approach often causes the missiles to miss the platform altogether. You can use this strategy for the initial part of the second stage as well.

Once you reach the second platform and it begins to intersect with the lasers, this tactic won’t work anymore. At this stage, pick a corner and maneuver just enough to dodge the incoming fire when the first circle lights up. The alcove will provide some shelter, too.

  • Discovering the Timeless Wylk Gem in Monster Hunter Wilds

Discovering the Timeless Wylk Gem in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds places a stronger focus on storytelling compared to earlier entries in the franchise, crafting a world filled with rich lore that unfolds as you play. However, this does not take away from the game’s main attraction—hunting a variety of monsters and collecting an abundance of materials.

Many of these rare items are intricately woven into the fabric of the game world, revealing how it operates. One such item is the Time-honed Wylk Gem, which requires a keen understanding of the weather patterns to fully appreciate how this world functions. Let’s explore how to obtain and utilize this gem.

How to Obtain the Time-honed Wylk Gem

The Time-honed Wylk Gem can be discovered in several locations, including the Windward Plains, Oilwell Basin, and Ruins of Wyveria. You’ll find Wylky Gemstone gathering points scattered throughout these areas, but the Time-honed Wylk Gems come from a different source.

These gems are specifically found at a Wylky Crystal Outcropping, which only appears during a Wylky Crystal Outcropping Emergence. This event can occur in both the Inclemency and Fallow regions, but you might not see it at all during the Plenty phase. Be prepared to rest at your tent in any of these areas until this event triggers.

Note: The Origin Wylk Gem, located in the Ruins of Wyveria, has no connection to the Time-honed Wylk Gem.

Once the emergence occurs, you can adjust your map to show only gathering points or create a waypoint directly on the map related to the event. It’s wise to equip the Geologist skill beforehand to increase your chances of collecting multiple gems from a single Wylky Crystal Outcropping.

Uses for the Time-honed Wylk Gem

After you’ve collected some Time-honed Wylk Gems, the next step is finding how to use them. Like many rare materials, the Time-honed Wylk Gem can only be traded. Despite its availability across three different regions, you can only utilize it in the Oilwell Basin.

The traders in the Oilwell Basin are eager to exchange your Time-honed Wylk Gems for other rare items. These can include treasures such as Nu Udra Oilmucus+ and Azuz Tanned Leather, among others. Since the folks in Azuz rely on Wylk for their fires, it makes sense they would be interested in acquiring as many Time-honed Wylk Gems as you can provide.

  • A Complete Guide to Locating All Gems in Luma Island

A Complete Guide to Locating All Gems in Luma Island

    Quick Links

Mining plays a significant role in many games, be it the survival of Minecraft or the tranquil life simulation in Fields of Mistria. In Luma Island, players will immerse themselves in a unique mining experience. You’ll explore ancient caves scattered across the island, seeking out essential metals, valuable gems, and maybe even a hidden treasure.

However, beware! Caves also house spiders eager to surprise and attack unsuspecting explorers. Watch your head, as rocks may tumble down, and the darkness can feel menacing.

    How to Locate the Caves

While there are small deposits of ore to discover in certain mountainous regions or within specific temple rooms, the main source for ore and gems is found exclusively in biome-specific caves.

    • The first cave you can explore is the Abandoned Farm Cave, conveniently located near your home.
    • The second cave is the Lost Forest Cave, which you’ll need to access by repairing the town’s bridge. This cave is situated in the northern corner on the western side, past the stone bridge.
    • The third cave, the Frozen Mountain Cave, requires you to fix the town’s Cable Car before riding up to the mountain, located northwest of the area entrance.

Additional smaller caves are found in areas like the Forest, containing resources such as Charcoal and various Ores. However, these lesser caves won’t have gems or enemies, and once you’ve mined their resources, they can’t be reset.

It’s worth noting that many of these smaller caves can help you access new areas or provide shortcuts closer to the main entrances.

Once you reach the Forest, you’ll find incomplete campsites outside a major cave, equipped with basic crafting stations like a Sawmill, Kiln, Ore Smelter, and Simple Workbench. You can finish building them with materials from that specific region.

    How to Explore the Caves

When you first enter a cave, expect a well-lit area, perhaps with some trees and bushes, while the deeper sections will be shrouded in darkness—though glowing gems may light a distant path.

To navigate effectively, you’ll need to use one of three types of torches, as the darkness can quickly overwhelm you, pushing you back to the cave’s entrance. Each area provides a unique Resin and Torch type with varying light color and effectiveness:

Torch Type Resin Needed Light Radius Duration
Farm Torch Farm Resin Small Two In-game Days
Forest Torch Forest Resin Medium Four In-game Days
Mountain Torch Mountain Resin Large Six In-game Days

Torches expire after a set period but can be reignited simply by running over them.

As you explore, expect to find Charcoal and ore scattered throughout the cave, while gems will typically be further inside, with rarer types located near the cave’s depths. Most caves, aside from the Abandoned Farm Cave, also introduce a dangerous variant of local stones that can quickly end your exploration if you aren’t cautious.

    • In the Lost Forest Cave, certain rocks may explode, releasing poison gas that blurs your screen.
    • In the Frozen Mountain Cave, rocks may detonate after a few moments, causing destruction around them.

Moreover, look out for Old Barrels and Crates that can be broken with your Whip; these often contain useful cave items like Torches and Flares, and occasionally give small amounts of Ore and Charcoal. Flares are particularly handy for lighting up a wide area temporarily, potentially saving your life if you run low on torches.

    How to Deal with Spiders

As you linger in the caves, keep in mind that the likelihood of encountering a Spider enemy increases. These critters are your primary threat while exploring underground.

Spiders will wander around after spawning, and if you get too close, they’ll pursue you. It’s essential to put some distance between you and them, or you may find yourself in a chase.

When a Spider is about to spawn, you’ll notice a flash of colored light followed by a distinct hissing sound, which serves as a warning. Additionally, mining gems creates a loud noise that can also attract Spiders, significantly increasing their spawn chances nearby.

If a Spider comes too close or you prefer not to engage, use your Whip to fend them off. Each hit will stun the creature temporarily. You can even time your strikes in a way that gives you breathing room to escape if necessary.

To farm Spiders for rare drops like Webbed Gems, consider utilizing strategies that make them spawn by mining gems.

Different cave types feature various Spider variants. Although they share damage capabilities, appearance and speed may vary:

    • The Farm Spider is the slowest.
    • The Forest Spider is intermediate in speed.
    • The Mountain Spider is the most agile.

In higher-level caves like the Frozen Mountain Cave, multiple Spiders may spawn simultaneously, either naturally or drawn in by your gem-mining activities.

How to Reset a Cave’s Interior

At some point, a cave might deplete its resources. In this case, you’ll need to locate a Cave Reset Beacon to refresh resources.

Each cave contains one of these beacons, typically found on the outer edges of the cave’s interior. These beacons are located in well-lit areas, similar to the cave’s entrance, making them somewhat visible, provided you’ve ventured deep enough.

To activate the beacon, simply interact with it; a countdown will commence, allowing you 90 seconds to gather any last resources and exit the cave before it collapses, sending you back to the entrance.

Next time you return, the entire cave layout will be reset, enabling resource collection once again. There’s no limit to how many times you can reset a cave, but you will need to locate the beacon each time.
