Completing the Free Courier Pet Feature in Palia

Now that you’ve received your complimentary Galdur Pup pet in Palia, it’s time to grab the free courier pack. This pack will enable your pet to fetch items from your backpack, letting you send up to four items back to your plot.

To begin the Home And Back Again quest, you’ll explore how to communicate with your pup, craft the courier pack, and create an affection charm that helps your pet locate you. Don’t worry; we’ll guide you step-by-step through the process.

    Unlocking Courier Pet Features

After finishing the Nurture of Shadows quest, your new Echoling seems ready to communicate, but you won’t understand it yet. This triggers the Home And Back Again quest.

Tamala suggests chatting with Ulfe, who might be able to interpret for you. You can find him in the cave where you first rescued him, on the eastern side of Deep Woods.

When you speak to Ulfe, you discover he’s very hungry. To get his assistance, you’ll need to prepare a Bean Burger and Flowtato Fries with Ketchup.

    Recipe Tips:

Both recipes can be found in the Elderwoods. The Bean Burger recipe is located in a chest inside Ulfe’s cave, while the Flowtato Fries recipe can be found in a chest between the entrance to Central Stables and Lilac Cavern.

Once Ulfe has been fed, he reveals that the Echoling is eager to help carry your items. All you need to do now is create a pack for it. Ulfe will inform you of the materials required for the pack.

When you have everything, head over to Jel, who will sew the pack for you. Once he’s done, Jel raises an important question: how will your pet find you after you send it home?

Return to Tamala, and she will advise you that since the Echoling is guided by love and its bond with you, an affection charm is needed. This charm will allow the pet to find you through the connection of love.

    Materials for the Affection Charm

To craft this charm, you’ll need:

    • 1 Pumpkin Stew (because apparently, Tamala can’t cook for herself)
    • 1 Ogopuu Scale
    • 1 Shmole Spore
    • 1 Black Pearl (these can be found inside Elder Clan Mushrooms)

If you don’t have the Pumpkin Stew recipe yet, you can purchase it from the Cooking Guild shop once you’ve reached cooking skill level eight.

Bring these materials to Tamala, who will craft the affection charm for you. At this point, you don’t need to do anything else! The charm will be automatically equipped, unlocking the Courier Pet Functionality for any pet, not just the Galdur Pup.

Your pet can carry up to four items at a time (or more if you purchased the Founder’s Pack, which allows for double the capacity).

To send items with your pet, place them in the four slots on the right, then click the Courier Pet button. A confirmation window will pop up asking you to verify the items you’re sending. After dispatching your pet, keep in mind there’s a 10-minute cooldown before you can use the service again.

  • Google Messages Adds Real Unsend Feature With ‘Delete For Everyone’

Google Messages Adds Real Unsend Feature With ‘Delete For Everyone’

Over the years, Google Messages has developed features that make it a worthy alternative to Apple Messages. The latest addition, which allows users to fully unsend messages, is now being rolled out to a wide range of Android users, alleviating the discomfort of mistakenly sent texts.

After showcasing the “Delete for Everyone” feature in its Messages app, Google is now extending it beyond the beta testing phase. This new functionality enables senders to remove a message for all participants in both one-on-one and group chats, replacing earlier versions that left deleted messages visible to others.

The “Delete for Everyone” feature was first noticed by a Reddit user named seeareeff (via 9to5Google), but they did not specify which version of Google Messages is required to activate it. Despite updating to the latest version, we were unable to enable it, hinting that the rollout might be controlled server-side.

It’s important to note that this feature is available only for messages sent over RCS, a more modern internet-based messaging standard that Google is trying to promote as a replacement for traditional SMS, especially in the face of Apple’s resistance. Therefore, everyone in the conversation must have RCS enabled to take advantage of this functionality, which is also necessary for features like message reactions and typing indicators. Updating Google Messages is essential; otherwise, deleted messages might still be visible to some users.

In addition to chats with other Google Messages users, the cross-platform nature of RCS suggests it should also function smoothly with Apple Messages. Apple has recently embraced RCS alongside its own iMessage protocol for its messaging app. However, it’s necessary for other participants to update their iPhones or iPads to iOS 18 for compatibility. Setting up RCS in Google Messages may require additional configuration by some users, and not all telecom carriers may support the feature.

With Google Messages solidifying its place as the primary messaging application for Android, further moves toward standardization from Google can be expected.

Narwal has become a favorite in the robot vacuum market with models like the upscale Narwal Freo Z Ultra, which boasts a sleek design and operates quietly. Continuing its tradition of innovative technology, Narwal unveiled the Narwal Flow at CES 2025 — a sophisticated robot vacuum featuring an advanced mopping system.

The Narwal Flow features an innovative mopping system known as the FlowWash Mopping System, which keeps its mopping plate clean while it operates. This design ensures that users won’t inadvertently spread dirt around their floors, enhancing the overall cleaning process. The vacuum is equipped with separate tanks for clean and dirty water, allowing it to extract used water from the mop as it re-soaks it, thus maintaining optimal cleaning conditions without requiring returns to its docking station for self-cleaning.

Additionally, the mop can extend outward for better access to edges and beneath furniture, providing superior floor coverage.

To enhance vacuuming performance, Narwal has introduced a feature called Deep Carpet Boost. When activated, this setting boosts dirt pickup through counter-directional movements of the main roller brush, paired with a flexible adaptive brush cover that targets carpet fibers. Narwal claims that this method creates “high-pressure air zone boosts,” excelling at extracting hair and debris that are deeply embedded in carpets.

Of course, the Narwal Flow comes with a docking station that automatically empties its dustbin, cleans the mop with heated water, and dries it with warm air. Furthermore, it autonomously fills the robot’s water tank, ensuring it’s primed and ready for the next cleaning session. Additional upgrades include a refined camera and obstacle avoidance system, the capacity to navigate thresholds up to 40mm high, and a brush design engineered to minimize tangling.

The Narwal Flow is set to launch in June 2025, with pricing information to be announced soon.
