Top Weapons for Completing and Solving in Fate Trigger

Fate Trigger is a battle royale game where 100 players start on an airship and jump down into the map. You won’t have weapons to attack others with initially—only your hands. Once you land, you’ll need to search the area for weapons, armor, and other gear to fight. Picking the right starting weapon is the most critical decision.

As you explore, you’ll come across many different weapons, each with stats like damage, recoil, and range. While none are useless, some may suit your playstyle better than others.

Note: Fate Trigger is still in beta, so game details might change.

    ### All Weapons and How to Use Them

The weapons in Fate Trigger are grouped into six categories:
    – Assault Rifles
    – Sniper Rifles
    – Submachine Guns (SMGs)
    – Shotguns
    – Light Machine Guns (LMGs)
    – Marksman Rifles (DMRs)

You can often tell which class a weapon belongs to by looking at its abbreviation at the end of its name. Here’s a quick overview of each type with some examples:

    #### Assault Rifles
    | Name | Highlights | Description |
    |—————–|——————————|———————————————————————————————-|
    | CL-4 AR | Balanced across all stats | Offers high damage, the best stability, and long range. Plus, it has an extra attachment slot. |
    | Gladiator AR | High damage | Deals the highest damage among ARs but is less stable. Master recoil for deadly close-to-medium combat. |
    | CL Rafale AR | Burst fire | Fires three rounds quickly per burst. Difficult to master, but very effective with good aim. |
    | ZK-M AR | Long-range focus | Decent damage and stability, but excels at hitting enemies far away. |

    #### Sniper Rifles
    | Name | Advantages | Description |
    |——————|————————–|—————————————————————————————————|
    | CL-24 SR | High one-shot damage | Only sniper in normal areas, with excellent stability, damage, and range. Can often two-shot enemies. |
    | Adjudicator SR | One shot, one kill | Headshots can instantly knock down enemies. No attachments available, so bullet drop is a factor. |
    | Planetcrasher GL| Close-range powerhouse | Despite being a sniper, works better at close range by launching grenades. Slow projectile speed makes hitting distant targets easier to dodge. |

    #### Submachine Guns
    | Name | Advantages | Description |
    |——————|————————-|————————————————————————————————|
    | Jackson SMG | High stability | Very recoil-resistant, allowing for mobile shooting, making enemies harder to hit. |
    | Peregrine SMG | Many attachments | Supports up to seven attachments, deadly at close range, and highly mobile. |
    | Pulsar SMG | Good in early game | Found after respawns; effective for defeating enemies early on and regaining loot. |
    | Perforator SMG | High damage | Combines good damage with fast movement, easy to control recoil, ideal for close combat. |

    #### Shotguns
    | Name | Advantages | Description |
    |———————-|———————————|——————————————————————————————————————-|
    | Beast Buster SG | Great for camping | Both shotguns are effective when gunning down squads tight in small spaces. Useful for defending corners. |
    | Braun SG | Alternate shotgun | Similar to Beast Buster, ideal for close quarters, especially when you’re alone and under pressure. |

    #### Light Machine Guns
    | Name | Advantages | Description |
    |————————–|——————————|—————————————————————————————————————————————–|
    | Tempest LMG | No reload needed | Comes from airdrops; can fire continuously until overheated or cooled down. Keep an eye on overheating. |
    | Rearguard LMG | Better mobility | Fewer bullets but more suited for close-range combat with high mobility. |
    | CL Monolith LMG | Breaking cover ability | Great for destroying enemy cover or vehicles, regardless of range. |

    #### Marksman Rifles
    | Name | Advantages | Description |
    |———————|—————————-|————————————————————————————————|
    | Cantius DMR | Excellent at long distances | The only DMR in the game, perfect for long-range combat without relying on one-hit damage. |

    ### Best Weapon Loadouts

Once familiar with the weapons, you can start experimenting with setups suitable for your fight style. While trying different guns is encouraged to find your favorite, these basic loadouts can help:

    | Playstyle | Gun Combination | Description |
    |———————|————————————————|———————————————————————————————————–|
    | Short-Range Duelist | Perforator SMG + CL-4 AR | For close fights, both guns pack a punch. The CL-4 AR can also help in longer-range situations if needed.|
    | | Beast Buster SG + Gladiator AR | A combo to pressure enemies to come to you—be sure to stay within the safe zone. |
    | Mid-Range Duelist | Rearguard LMG + Cantius DMR | Perfect for medium-range battles, with spam potential and good accuracy. |
    | Long-Range Duelist| Gladiator AR + Adjudicator SR | Keeps enemies at bay with powerful long-range firepower. Master bullet drop and recoil for best results.|
    | | ZK-M AR + CL-24 SR | A no-bullet-drop sniping setup with additional DoT damage from the AR, deadly at long distances. |
    | | Beast Buster SG + Cantius DMR | An unconventional long-range build that works well if you’re precise with aiming. |
    | Support Loadouts | CL Monolith LMG + Planetcrasher GL | For breaking enemy cover and vehicles while supporting teammates with explosive pressure. |

Try different combinations to suit your preferred style. The game offers plenty of room to adapt based on your play preferences.

How to Get Fate Trigger Beta Key Through Twitch Drops & Completing Challenges

The biggest fun part of a Battle Royale game is starting over every time you play, and Fate Trigger does a good job of that too. In this game, you play as anime characters, each with special skills. The only things you can use that aren’t part of the characters are items you find on the map.

Right now, Fate Trigger isn’t available to everyone, but you can try to join its beta by applying on the store page or by earning Twitch drops. Here’s what you need to know about both options.

How to Get Access Through Steam

You can get into the beta directly through Steam. Visit the game’s Steam page and search for Fate Trigger, or click on this link: Steam Fate Trigger. On the page, scroll down to the part where you usually buy the game, and you’ll see an option to apply for the playtest. Click on it, and you’ll get an email or a Steam notification when the developers are ready to accept more players.

How to Get Access Through Twitch Drops

While the Steam method works, it can be slow. There’s a faster way: Twitch Drops. To do this, visit the Fate Trigger CBT Drops page at Fate Trigger Twitch Drops. Scroll down to connect your Twitch account with your Saroasis Pass account. If you don’t have a Saroasis Pass account yet, you can create one easily with your email.

After linking your accounts, go to the Fate Trigger Directory on Twitch and find a stream with the “Drops enabled” tag or look for “drops” in the stream’s title. When you join a drop-enabled stream, a menu will appear above the chat, confirming that drops are active. Watch any of these streams for an hour, and you can claim your key from your profile’s Drops Inventory at the top right corner. You can even leave the stream running at low volume if you prefer not to watch actively. The first round of beta keys will end on August 18, 2025, but more rounds may come later since the beta will last for some time.
