Tips and Tricks for Surviving in 1348 Ex Voto: Completing and Solving

1348 Ex Voto, much like its name suggests, can be quite harsh at times. To fulfill her vow, heroine Aeta must travel across the Spanish countryside over several months, facing communities struck by the plague and fighting off bands of looting criminals and corrupt knights eager to make this already shattered world worse.

In a game like this, it’s normal to struggle with staying alive or making the most of your skills and resources. You’ll need to become proficient in swordsmanship, exploration, and using various trinkets, accessories, and weapon upgrades effectively. Here are some helpful tips to get you started.

    Leave No Stone Unturned

Since the game is relatively straightforward through its nine chapters, there aren’t many alternative paths besides the main route. Make sure to explore every route you find before moving on to your next goal. The game often hides useful items like trinkets and weapon upgrades — such as pommels, guards, and handles — off the beaten path. Exploring thoroughly rewards you with valuable items and offers beautiful views of the countryside, which is a nice bonus.

    Manage Your Food Stocks

Traditional healing items aren’t available in 1348 Ex Voto. Instead, Aeta restores health by eating meat, cheese, fruit, and other perishable foods she finds around the environment. During battles, pressing the square button lets you restore health, but you’ll need to gather food from the world to do so. Aeta will show an obvious vocal cue when your food stocks are full, so it’s wise to restore health and pick up as much food as possible when you can. Later upgrades will allow you to carry more food, but for now, collection is key.

If your health drops in battle, dying and restarting from checkpoints will fully restore Aeta’s health. To save food, you might consider intentionally dying a few times to recover health without using your supplies.

Pay Attention to the Skill Tree

The game features a skill tree with four branches. Two are available from the start, while the other two unlock as you progress. You need to gather pieces of paper, found throughout the game world, to purchase new skills. Exploring thoroughly ensures plenty of these resources, but don’t forget to check the pause menu often to spend them, as the game doesn’t remind you.

Upgrading skills can significantly enhance your combat abilities, unlock new combo strings, and increase your maximum food and health reserves.

    Guard Meters in Combat

Every enemy, including some bosses, has a guard meter that indicates when they are vulnerable. The key to combat success is to deplete this meter before the enemy can recover it, then deal as much damage as possible in that window. To lower guard meters efficiently, Aeta has a variety of sword and stance options to take advantage of.

    Changing Your Stance

You can adopt a two-handed stance by holding the left shoulder button, which allows for heavier combos and charge-up finishing moves. You can also press this button briefly to perform parries and blocks. Using the right shoulder button switches to one-handed attacks, which are faster and more nimble but deal less damage. Some enemies attack in ways that can’t be blocked, requiring quick dodging, which is easier when wielding a single blade. Adjust your stance based on the fight to optimize your chances.

    Perfect Attacks Are Powerful

Early in the game, you’re taught about perfect attacks — a well-timed strike indicated by a bright golden glow. They occur when you press the attack button precisely after an attack lands. Although easy to overlook, mastering perfect attacks can turn the tide in tough fights, especially against bosses. These moves quickly drain guard meters and leave enemies open to heavy damage.

    Customize Your Sword

Throughout your journey, you’ll find various sword parts, such as handles, pommels, and blades, each focused on improving either one-handed or two-handed combat styles. Some upgrades benefit both styles and can turn you into a formidable fighter. Note that changes made to your weapons, trinkets, or other gear during fights won’t carry over after you die, so it’s best to prepare your equipment before entering challenging areas or boss battles.

    Choosing the Right Trinkets

Trinkets are some of the most powerful accessories in the game. They can do everything from automatically using food when you die to instantly killing enemies once their stagger bar is broken. Combining different trinkets creatively can make fights much easier — for example, one that restores full health after a perfect dodge can be a game-changer in boss fights. Take time to experiment with different combinations to find what works best for your playstyle.

How to Complete All Sword Parts and Solve in 1348 Ex Voto

In 1348 Ex Voto, your sword is your main tool for fighting enemies blocking your path to Bianca. As you explore abandoned towns and ruined churches, you can find extra parts to upgrade your sword.

You can customize your sword by changing its hilt, blade, and pummel. These parts can be equipped in either one-handed or two-handed styles, allowing you to adapt based on your fighting approach or the enemies you’re facing. All the parts you find are stored in your inventory under Longsword, where you can see what you have, how each part improves your sword, and swap parts as needed.

Note that one sword part hasn’t appeared yet, and we will update you as soon as we learn its location. Here are all the sword parts available in 1348 Ex Voto:

    Sword Part Location Effect
Impera Pommel Inside a guard tower at the top after looking over the valley and the pathway to the keep. Boosts the timing window for perfect attacks in a one-handed stance.
Impera Grip In a church at the top of a long climb, accessible after a secret room behind a display case. Reduces recovery time after a dodge.
Impera Blade In the ruins after defeating Flagillanti, before reaching the Amphitheater. Find a body with the part while exploring a second drop zone. Increases guard damage when using a two-handed stance.
Tusca Pommel On a makeshift camp at a broken wooden bridge, accessible after defeating Flagillanti near the town. Improves the attack window for perfect strikes in a two-handed stance.
Tusca Grip On a wooden hut beneath a broken wooden bridge, after a cliff climb and a leap across rooftops in town. Slightly extends the perfect attack window in all stances.
Tusca Blade In the castle’s garden, avoiding further castle progression. Climb into a chapel and slide through under a broken wall to find a body with the part. Slightly increases guard damage in all stances.
Ultima Pommel In the countryside, after defeating the first armored knight, head left of the stables, drag a box to the wall, jump over, and find it near a stone wall. Slightly boosts attack speed after a perfect attack in all stances.
Ultima Grip Inside the camp of knights, beyond the siege camp after defeating enemies, found on a table when a wooden box is dropped and pushed to a cloth-hanging wall. Improves the recovery timing after dodging and parrying.
Ultima Blade In the castle’s top section, after navigating through a garden and chapel, climb into a space where you see a body and a table. Slightly increases guard damage with a two-handed stance.
Location Unknown (Missing part, update pending) Effect unknown.

Each part found is added to your inventory under Longsword. You can review and swap parts at any time to suit your playstyle or the challenge you’re facing, enhancing specific combat aspects or defense.

In Scott Pilgrim EX, each playable character has multiple color options, also known as costumes. Every character starts with four unlocked palettes—one default and three variations. There are two additional palettes for each character that can be unlocked through specific locations in the game.

The first place to unlock new palettes is in the Movie Studio, located to the right of the Shopping Area. When you reach the studio, find the trailer called the Make-Up Room. Inside, you’ll find a shop offering five costumes for purchase. The last two are special bundles that include a costume for two different characters each. Here’s what you can buy:

A fresh romance between actor Kerem Bürsin and influencer Selin Yağcıoğlu has generated significant buzz in Turkey’s entertainment circles. Many fans were stunned by the news, especially since reports suggest that Yağcıoğlu is close friends with one of Bürsin’s former girlfriends.

The suspicion grew stronger when Selin Yağcıoğlu recently shared a photo taken at Bürsin’s residence, with followers quickly recognizing someone in the background. Fans interpreted this as confirmation of their relationship. However, subsequent events intensified the situation.

It was revealed that Mehtap Algül, a trusted friend of Yağcıoğlu, had previously been involved with Bürsin. When Yağcıoğlu publicly mentioned discussing this with Algül, online rumors escalated, and many social media users accused both women of betraying each other’s trust.

In response, Mehtap Algül issued a statement expressing her displeasure over her name being mentioned publicly and condemning the exposure of their private conversations.

She shared her thoughts on Twitter, saying:
    > “Kerem Bürsin’s ex-girlfriend, Mehtap Algül, speaks out regarding recent events involving his current girlfriend, Selin Yağcıoğlu, who is also a close friend of hers.”
You can see her original post here: [Twitter link]

Algül added that she had asked a friend to join her podcast a month prior. She explained:
    > “After five days, I received a recorded message from her saying she met my ex at a restaurant. They talked, and she wanted me to know. We discussed it and made peace. I’m fine now because I have someone special in my life.”

Algül further commented on the confusing developments:
    > “Later, another voice message appeared. After being targeted online, he asked me to help him by adding a heart to his photo. I chose to ignore it. Should our lives be dictated by such requests?”

She also expressed her frustration over Bürsin’s public commentary, considering it inappropriate.

Recent photos show Bürsin and Yağcıoğlu dining with Elvin Levinler and her husband, fueling even more speculation.

The ongoing situation continues to dominate Turkish media, sparking debates over friendship boundaries, privacy rights, and the responsibilities of public figures. Neither Bürsin nor Yağcıoğlu has issued an official statement yet.

Completing Gardevoir ex 2025 Post-Rotation Deck: Best Cards & Tips

    Quick Links

    Gardevoir ex Deck Strategy

Just like every deck in the Pokemon TCG, Gardevoir ex was affected by the recent post-rotation changes. Some of its essential allies have been removed, and while it may not be at the top of the rankings, it still has considerable potential. Unfortunately, the Journey Together set didn’t add much to the deck, but Gardevoir continues to show her capabilities.

If you’re searching for a post-rotation deck that offers a unique strategy, Gardevoir ex is definitely one to consider. This guide will highlight the key cards and strategies involved. Let’s jump right in.

You can consider swapping some cards in your deck with the following alternatives:

    • Fezandipiti ex: To draw additional cards from your knocked-out Pokémon and target your opponent’s bench.
    • Earthen Vessel: For easier access to Energy.
    • Moonlit Hill: To heal your Pokémon.
    • Brilliant Blender: To discard Psychic Energies for even more power with Gardevoir ex; replace Hero’s Cape if you do.

What’s Changed In The Deck Since Post-Rotation?

One significant loss due to the rotation is Kirlia with the Refinement ability, which made it easier to cycle through cards quickly. Another loss is Radiant Greninja, which effectively accelerated the drawing of cards, especially Psychic Energy needed by Gardevoir ex.

Despite these changes, the deck still operates well with a greater reliance on Trainer cards for cycling. Manaphy, which provided protection for benched Pokémon, was also removed after the rotation. However, the Journey Together set introduced Lillie’s Clefairy, which offers a strong advantage against Dragon-type Pokémon.

    Gardevoir ex Deck Strategy

    Pokémon Cards

At the heart of your deck lies Gardevoir ex. Its Psychic Embrace ability allows you to attach as many Psychic Energies as you’d like from your discard pile to your Pokémon on your turn. However, using this ability will inflict 20 damage to that Pokémon, and you can’t use it if the damage would lead to a knockout.

Drifloon takes advantage of this ability with its Balloon Blast attack, dealing 30 damage for each damage counter on it. If Drifloon has 60 damage, that attack can deal a whopping 180 damage.

Another key player is Scream Tail, which can hit any opponent’s Pokémon for 20 damage for each damage counter on it. For example, with 80 damage on Scream Tail, you will deal 160 damage to an opponent’s target, making it easier to claim Prize cards.

Munkidori plays a crucial role by allowing you to move up to 30 damage from one of your Pokémon to one of your opponent’s, making Psychic Embrace’s downside into a strategic benefit.

This deck also includes Revavroom and Mew ex as draw engines. Revavroom allows you to discard a Psychic Energy and draw up to six cards, which can then be reattached with Psychic Embrace. When your hand is low, Mew’s Restart ability helps by letting you draw three cards again. Its Genome Hacking attack also lets you copy your opponent’s active Pokémon’s attack, using it against them. Lillie’s Clefairy ex provides an excellent advantage against Dragon-types, allowing you to deal double damage.

    Stadium Cards

You have two Stadium cards that offer distinct advantages. Artazon enables quick setup, which is particularly helpful early on. Lively Stadium is crucial for enhancing Drifloon and Scream Tail’s damage output. If neither of those Pokémon is in play, Artazon becomes more beneficial.

    Pokémon Tools

The objective with Pokémon Tools is to boost the HP of Scream Tail and Drifloon, allowing them to withstand more damage and deliver higher returns. Hero’s Cape grants an extra 100 HP to the Pokémon it’s attached to, keeping them from being easily knocked out, while Bravery Charm provides an additional 50 HP.

Ancient Booster Energy Capsule is effective for Scream Tail, increasing its HP by 60 and protecting it from Special Conditions.

    Items

Your deck includes two Rare Candy cards, which allow you to evolve Ralts right into Gardevoir ex without needing Kirlia. Ultra Ball helps you find any Pokémon, though it requires you to discard two cards first, ideally Psychic Energies for synergy with Gardevoir ex.

Night Stretcher is valuable for retrieving Pokémon, especially given that Psychic Energy can be recovered with Gardevoir ex. Buddy-Buddy Poffin can place two Pokémon with 70 HP or less onto your bench, making it ideal for finding Ralts or Drifloon. Nest Ball allows you to directly put any Pokémon onto your bench, while Super Rod helps recover Pokémon from the discard pile in case Night Stretcher isn’t available.

    Supporters

Supporters in this deck include four copies of Professor’s Research to quickly draw essential cards. Don’t worry about losing Pokémon to discards—Super Rod and Night Stretcher can recover them. Arven is another crucial Supporter that helps you find specific Item and Tool cards when you need them.

Boss’s Orders can turn the tide by switching your opponent’s active Pokémon, while Tulip allows you to retrieve Psychic Pokémon from your discard pile, adding to the deck’s overall versatility.

Completing a Beedrill EX Deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket: A Guide to Solving

In a meta overflowing with rapid energy generation and acceleration, the Pokemon TCG Pocket game is now more fast-paced than ever. Many decks have strategies designed to get their cards into play quickly. If you don’t have access to these tools, you might struggle to keep up.

Fortunately, the Beedrill ex deck provides a powerful way to not just outpace your opponent, but also to disrupt their entire strategy. With the abilities of Beedrill ex and the Team Rocket Grunt Trainer card, you can discard energy from your opponent, effectively halting their progress. Below, we’ll explore all the necessary cards for building this deck and how to use it effectively.

    Alternative Cards

This deck can be alternately set up to include Exeggcute and Exeggutor ex in place of some support cards. Exeggutor ex is fantastic since it has low energy cost for attacks while offering high damage and good health. Using two of these cards can help you stall while you build up Beedrill, which can be tricky with Weedle and Kakuna’s lower health.

    Beedrill Ex Deck Strategy

Full art version of Beedrill ex in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

The objective of this deck is to quickly evolve Weedle into Beedrill ex and then hinder your opponent’s ability to add energy to their active Pokémon. You’ll utilize two each of Weedle, Kakuna, and Beedrill ex, while the rest of your deck will be support cards.

Starting every match with at least one basic Pokémon means you can kick off with Weedle and use its attack, Multiply, to draw out a second one. With the help of Pokémon Communication, Iono, and Professor’s Research, you can cycle through your deck to ensure you pull out Kakuna and Beedrill ex quickly.

Since Beedrill ex’s attack costs only two energy, it allows for a quick setup. Once established, you can consistently deal damage every turn while keeping it alive with Erika. Use Sabrina or Cyrus to swap out your Knocked Out Pokémon and finish off the opponent with more Crushing Spear attacks.

Even if you’re unable to draw Beedrill ex immediately, Kakuna can sometimes hold its ground for a turn or so. Its String Shot attack has a chance to inflict paralysis, giving you an additional turn to hopefully draw into Beedrill ex.

The Team Rocket Grunt can also be effectively used to discard energy from your opponent’s active Pokémon, making it even harder for them to build energy while you work your strategy.

    Deck Matchups

The Charizard ex and Moltres ex cards.

This deck performs exceptionally well against energy-intensive Pokémon like Charizard ex, Giratina ex, or Mewtwo ex, but it can struggle against decks with low energy costs or strong energy generation. Stepping into a match with a lucky Misty or a Moltres with ample energy can put you at a disadvantage.

While the ability to remove energy is crucial, the damage from Crushing Spear is some of the lowest you’ll find on a stage 2 ex Pokémon. This means if energy removal doesn’t disrupt the opponent’s strategy, they’ll likely win in damage trades.

However, when this deck operates smoothly, it creates a challenging situation for your opponent, forcing them to watch as their energy dwindles while they struggle to keep their active Pokémon capable of attacking.

Since Leaf lowers the retreat cost of Paldean Clodsire ex to one colorless Energy, swapping one Leaf for X Speed allows it to retreat without any Energy cost. However, this method is less consistent than using it twice to reduce the cost by two.

If you lack Shroodle or Grafaiai, consider using Koffing and the Genetic Apex Weezing as substitutes. If you choose this route, incorporating two copies of Koga is crucial to apply Poison and attack in the same turn, making the strategy resource-intensive.

As the metagame evolves, be mindful of the frequency of single-prize decks. If they start to dominate, you might replace Red with Giovanni or add an extra Sabrina.

    Clodsire ex Deck Strategy

Paldean Clodsire ex Super Rare card from Shining Revelry.

Paldean Clodsire ex can deliver a substantial 120 damage with just two Darkness Energy using its impactful Venoshock attack. The catch is that the opponent’s Active Pokemon must be Poisoned beforehand.

If you lose the first coin flip, you still have a significant edge: Paldean Wooper can Poison your opponent’s Active Pokemon during your first turn for a single Darkness Energy. If they don’t retreat or evolve that Poisoned Pokemon, it will accumulate 30 damage (two turns of poison effects plus 10 from Wooper’s Poison Jab), followed by an additional 120 damage the next turn once you evolve into Clodsire ex.

Art rare Grafaiai Pokémon TCG Pocket card from Shining Revelry.

While Clodsire ex is your primary attacker, Grafaiai’s Poison Coating offers another way to Poison your opponent’s Active Pokemon. Poison Coating can apply Poison from your Bench, allowing you to consistently use Venoshock for maximum damage output.

Since using Poison Coating relies on winning a coin flip, it’s wise to have both Grafaiai cards on your Bench for an additional flip each turn. This way, you can aim to Poison the opponent’s Active Pokemon three out of every four turns.

With Poison in effect, Clodsire ex effectively deals 130 damage with a successful Venoshock, making it potent against non-ex Pokemon and lower-HP ex Pokemon like Pikachu ex. However, it may struggle against opponents with 140 or more HP, which is where Red becomes beneficial.

Super rare Red Pokémon TCG Pocket card from Shining Revelry.

Red boosts your Pokemon’s attack by 20 damage, but only when your opponent’s Active Pokemon is an ex. It’s a double-Giovanni, effective only against the strongest Pokemon currently available. While this may not seem significant against high-HP Pokemon like Venusaur ex, it’s enough to OHKO threats like Lucario ex.

    Clodsire ex Matchups

    Arceus ex / Dialga ex

The Arceus ex and Dialga ex cards in Pokemon Pocket.

The Arceus ex / Dialga ex deck, prevalent in the Triumphant Light meta, poses a significant challenge for Clodsire ex. Although Steel-type immunity to Poison is absent in Pokemon TCG Pocket, Arceus ex’s Fabled Luster grants immunity to Poison and other status conditions, making it hard to counter.

Even with this disadvantage, victory is still possible: Clodsire ex can achieve an OHKO on Dialga ex with the help of Red (and Poison), leaving you just one Prize Point away from winning. You can secure that final Prize from commonly played Pokemon such as Mew ex or Shaymin.

To increase your chances, let one of them remain damaged by Poison until late game, then utilize Cyrus to pull it forward for the decisive hit.

    Giratina ex / Darkrai ex

The Giratina ex and Darkrai ex cards.

The Giratina ex / Darkrai ex archetype is a formidable contender in the Shining Revelry meta, and you’re likely to encounter it frequently. It resembles the previous Darkrai ex / Magnezone deck but is more consistent due to the exclusive use of Basic Pokemon.

Fortunately, Clodsire ex can exploit its advantages: with Poison, Venoshock can OHKO Druddigon and Giratina after just one use of the Broken-Space Bellow ability, leaving Darkrai with 10 HP and Poisoned. If your hand is favorable, these matchups should conclude by the fourth turn.

    Charizard ex / Moltres ex

Charizard ex and Moltres ex cards.

Charizard returns, but with a new twist: This is an entirely different Charizard ex! The version from Shining Revelry boasts the ability to accelerate its own Energy with Stoke and attack for 150 damage using Steam Artillery without discarding any Energy, making it more reliable than its Genetic Apex counterpart, though it does slightly less damage.

While Charizard ex can easily KO Clodsire ex with Giovanni, it requires two Poison-boosted Venoshocks to take down Charizard ex. Thankfully, there are a couple of turns to act before your opponent evolves into Charizard, which gives you the chance to take out Charmeleon before they can mount an offense. Use this opportunity wisely, and victory will be within your grasp.
