Mastering the Last Drop of Blood in Stalker 2: A Complete Guide

After finishing the Wishful Thinking quest in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, you’ll have a clear understanding of how brutal this environment is. If you decide to ally with Richter rather than the Ward, your next mission will be To the Last Drop of Blood.

The game doesn’t simplify things for you at this point. You will need to navigate through a chaotic scene filled with combat. Your main goal is to escape the fighting by finding your way through the tunnels to meet up with Richter. However, achieving this goal will not be a walk in the park.

    Escaping the Tunnels

After the explosions caused by the Monolith, you’ll find yourself in a state of utter chaos. Your only option is to escape through the tunnels. Just follow the provided coordinates; due to the straightforward layout of the tunnels, you shouldn’t have too much difficulty finding your way around.

As you get close to a ladder, ascend it and enter the corridor. While making your way through, you’ll overhear Dr. Dalin discussing a flash drive containing all the SIRCAA archives. Your next objective will be to retrieve this flash drive, which Daian mentions is located in the Data Center.

How to Retrieve the Flash Drive

Before you can get your hands on the flash drive, you must first navigate through the tunnels. Begin by turning the yellow valve to extinguish any fire in your path, then proceed through. Eventually, you’ll come across another ladder; make sure to watch out for an electric anomaly right ahead.

Some anomalies can be temporarily disabled by using a bolt. Keep in mind that the effect won’t last long, so you’ll need to pass quickly to avoid getting caught.

Navigate through the door into the lab. Once outside, you’ll be met with a horrific scene: The Ward and Noontiders are engaged in fierce combat. Even though you’re siding with Richter, the Noontiders will still see you as a threat. Your objective is to eliminate any enemies blocking your way and make a beeline for the coordinates leading to the Data Center, as you’re not meant to engage in this unwinnable fight.

In the Data Center, expect to encounter a cloaked enemy using psychic attacks. You can either choose to confront this enemy or look for anomalies in the area and shoot them down to eliminate the mutant.

Making Your Way to the Escape Route

Once you’re in the Data Center, take out the soldiers and descend the stairs. Look for a room illuminated by red lights; that’s where the flash drive is located. After seizing the item, Richter will contact you with coordinates that will aid in your escape from SIRCAA.

    Finding Your Way Out

After securing the flash drive, make your way out of the Data Center and head into the underground tunnels. The fighting outside will continue, and more NPCs will spawn, including a formidable mutant known as the Pseudogiant. Engage with it only if necessary—it’s usually more prudent to avoid combat and follow the coordinates instead.

As you approach the helicopter pad, look for a road that leads downward. Enter the hole in the wall and descend the stairwell, where you’ll find a red button. Pressing this button will unlock the security door. However, once you step inside, brace yourself: a Bloodsucker awaits you.

Defeating a Bloodsucker can be tricky due to its ability to become partially invisible. However, it’s distinguishable by the distortion it creates. Using a shotgun or similar short-range weapon can greatly improve your odds.

Once the bloodsucker is down, keep following your map’s coordinates. The area is relatively easy to navigate, and soon you’ll reach a storage room filled with chaos as Ward soldiers clash with mutants. Jump in to help finish the fight, and afterward, make your way toward the red light signifying an open door, where some valuable loot awaits.

    Navigating the Flooded Room

After following the coordinates, you’ll discover a ladder leading to another room. Climb it, open the door, and you will soon find yourself in a rather unpleasant flooded room. To escape, you’ll need to turn off the electricity, as the water presents a serious hazard.

Be careful not to step into the water, as it’s electrified and would likely lead to your demise. Instead, jump onto various objects, starting from the truck via the staircase, and make your way to a green crate. There, you will see a wire trap in front of the power switch—use your weapon to trigger the explosion and disable the power.

Now that the electricity is off, head to the ladder. It may be locked, so shoot the lock to reach it. Before climbing up, ensure you disarm any traps at the top. Ascend and exit via a larger tunnel.

Prepare to face mutant rats once more as you approach the coordinates. Defeat them, climb the ladder, break another lock to enter the next room, and finally climb the last ladder to meet Richter.

After your reunion, a chain of events unfolds, leading to dire news for Richter and an interruption from the Ward soldiers. In a cinematic sequence, both Richter and Skif manage to fend off the soldiers and survive another day.

Once the cutscene concludes, don’t forget to listen to the final conversation between Richter and Skif, signaling that your quest—To the Last Drop of Blood—has come to an end.

  • Unlock Every Ability in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

Unlock Every Ability in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

Lilac is a formidable Attuner, but her journey in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist would be much harder without the assistance of her Homunculi friends. These crafted beings lend their special skills to help her navigate through the challenging Land of Fumes.

However, it’s not easy for her to find a willing Homunculus to assist. Many of them are driven insane due to the fumes, and Lilac has to Tune them back to their original state before she can communicate with them. Fortunately, they are always grateful for her help and do their best to aid her in return.

    How to Acquire All Abilities

In Ender Magnolia, there are ten primary abilities. Each ability is associated with a different Homunculus, and players will acquire most of these skills as they advance through the storyline. The abilities fall into four categories: Primary, Autonomous, Cooldown, and Pressure attacks.

The type of attack determines how a Homunculus’s ability operates and is not changeable. However, some Relics can enhance the damage of specific attack types.

You can unlock these abilities by either defeating the respective Homunculus in battle and tuning them back to normal or by peacefully interacting with them to complete a task. Most abilities are part of the main story and are unavoidable, while a few are optional, which you can obtain later in the game.

To gain new attacks for your Homunculi, you must upgrade their abilities using items found in the game. Note that some items might be difficult to locate, meaning you may not be able to use different skills right away.

You will unlock Muninn after reaching the Rest Area respite in the Magicite Mine, where the Attuner Heath places her into your care. She has area-covering attacks that can also apply several Status Effects.

To recruit her, defeat her at the top of the Sorcerer Academy, near the Vacant Courtyard respite. It is not necessary to complete the Missing Students side quest, but you do need to defeat Professor Eliza beforehand.

  • Discover the Dive Ability Location in Ender Magnolia: Bloom In The Mist

Discover the Dive Ability Location in Ender Magnolia: Bloom In The Mist

Ender Magnolia: Bloom In The Mist places you in the role of a small Attuner named Lilac. She has the special gift of calming troubled homunculi and harnessing their powers for exploration and battle. However, certain abilities require not defeating bosses but locating them throughout the Land of Fumes.

While you journey through the game, you may come across various water bodies scattered across the map. These waters can lead to new regions or valuable items, but to explore underwater, you’ll need to unlock the Dive ability.

How to Acquire the Dive Ability

To unlock the Dive ability, you’ll need to reach the Subterranean Waterway area. You can enter this section by breaking the horizontal barrier in the Old City Market, close to the Craftory.

To break through the barrier, you first have to defeat Garm The Giant Gravedigger in the Magicite Mine area. After winning this battle, you’ll earn Garm’s Iron Stake ability, allowing you to destroy the Growth on the ground.

Once you’ve cleared the growth in the Old City Market, continue downward until you fall into a body of water. The Subterranean Waterway consists of many water-filled sections, and even before acquiring the Dive ability, you can make progress through this area towards the Respite.

From the entrance of the Subterranean Waterway, proceed to the right until you find a section that leads downward. You’ll need to drop to the bottom here and swim to the left.

In this area, you will discover another downward path. Stay alert as there are numerous rat-spawning machines in this section. Keep descending until you reach the water, where the pressure will carry you to the next area.

As you continue downward, you will fall into another water-filled area. Here, you can head towards the right side of the screen. Be aware of some poison-spewing enemies on the platforms. You must eliminate them to jump onto the platforms and find the exit on the right.

Once you’ve obtained the Dive ability, you can move effortlessly through water or acid. You’re able to execute melee attacks and use certain skills. However, keep in mind that you won’t be able to use abilities that require momentum, like Hati’s Charge or Garm’s Iron Stake, while underwater.

You can also swim up waterfalls located in some sections, opening access to new areas. Moreover, you can swim freely in acid; however, take care as you’ll slowly take damage while submerged. Act swiftly to minimize your time in hazardous areas.

  • Unlocking Growth Secrets: Thriving with Ender Magnolia Mist

Unlocking Growth Secrets: Thriving with Ender Magnolia Mist

One of the most enjoyable aspects of Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is delving into its vast world, although you’ll encounter barriers that block access to certain areas at the start. These barriers, referred to as Growths, serve to guide players through the game. They ensure you first explore designated regions where you can acquire new abilities necessary for overcoming these obstacles.

Acquiring these abilities is crucial for further exploration, typically unlocking them after you defeat significant story bosses or progress to new zones. These upgrades are for your Homunculi and will enable you to dismantle the Growths, offering additional utilities as well.

    Understanding Growths in Ender Magnolia

Growths are specific types of barriers scattered throughout the game, first appearing in initial zones to block your path to various areas and treasures. They direct you toward the next storyline step and sometimes safeguard powerful Relics or upgrade materials meant to be accessed later. This design encourages backtracking after you’ve acquired the required upgrades.

There are three distinct types of Growths, each requiring unique abilities to break. These abilities are unlocked by defeating key bosses in the game, ensuring you encounter them as part of your progression. You can see the locations of Growths on the map; hovering over them reveals the specific ability needed to break them if you have already unlocked it. If you haven’t, it will simply appear as “?????”.

How to Break Each Type of Growth

Each of the three Growth types necessitates a different ability, which you can unlock in a specific sequence as you progress through the game.

    Horizontal Growth

Horizontal Growths are barriers found on the ground that can only be shattered using Garm’s Iron Stake. This ability is unlocked after defeating Garm in the Magicite Mines, one of the earlier challenging bosses in the game. This ability can also be used to harm enemies.

To break a Horizontal Growth, you must perform the action from the air, specifically by jumping from a sufficient height and hitting the center of the Growth. Regular jumps may not provide the necessary height.

Whenever you spot Horizontal Growths, try to find a nearby platform to jump from. If there are none in sight, you may need to explore further to unlock the area.

    Vertical Growth

Vertical Growths can only be shattered with Hati’s Charge, an ability you gain after defeating Veol, the boss in the Crimson Forest. The journey to Veol can be lengthy, as the Crimson Forest is a complex maze filled with various teleportation points and paths. After solving its puzzles and defeating this boss, you’ll earn an upgrade for Hati.

Once you’ve learned Hati’s Charge, press and hold the Dash button while moving in the desired direction for a few seconds. This ability also inflicts damage on enemies while breaking Growths. Remember that changing directions will cancel the charge.

    Underwater Growth

You will encounter some Growths while swimming, which can be broken after completing the Declan’s Estate area. Once you defeat the sorcerer in an underwater battle, you’ll acquire a device that upgrades Motley with Motley’s Torment. This ability functions similarly to Hati’s Charge but is tailored for underwater use.

Motley’s Torment is used in the same manner as Hati’s Charge, allowing you to dash and hold the button while moving in the same direction. The underwater environment offers more manoeuvrability, making it easier to execute.

This upgrade becomes available later in the game once you’ve reached Central City. However, many Underwater Growths can be found in the Lower Stratum, so you may need to backtrack for them. These additional explorations are worthwhile, as they allow access to numerous upgrades and Relics previously out of reach.

All abilities that shatter Growths can also inflict damage on Mutants, causing them to drop Scrap. This material is valuable for enhancing your Relics and is the most reliable way to gather this currency.

  • Conquering Professor Eliza in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

Conquering Professor Eliza in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

Bosses that can teleport and primarily use ranged attacks can be incredibly frustrating in video games. While many players aren’t fans of this type of boss, they still appear frequently in games, and Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is no different.

After you take down Gilroy, the Administrator, you’ll encounter Professor Eliza. Although this battle is relatively straightforward, it can be quite irritating due to her constant teleportation and relentless ranged attacks. Fortunately, we have some tips to help you tackle this fight and prepare for an even tougher boss that comes next.

    How to Defeat Professor Eliza

    Attack Name

    Description

    Countermeasure

    Ice Blast

Eliza sends a freezing wave your way that can freeze you and inflict considerable damage.

Keep your distance and use the Barrage skill. If you’re close, dodge sideways and hit her with melee attacks.

    Fire Tornados

She summons three stationary Fire Tornados.

Avoid the area and focus on using your ranged skills.

    Single Fire Tornado

Eliza launches one Fire Tornado your way.

Dodge towards her and follow up with melee damage.

    Fire Orbs

She sends two Fire Orbs towards you.

Time your dodges to avoid both orbs, and then you’ll have a chance to counterattack.

    Massive Fire Orb

Often following the Fire Orbs, Eliza will release a large Fire Orb.

After dodging the orbs, be prepared to evade the massive orb, then hit her with melee strikes.

One of the most challenging aspects of this encounter is continuously pursuing Eliza. She teleports frequently, and you can’t just rush in blindly since she often uses the Fire Tornados attack. If you sprint directly at her, you might end up caught in that maneuver. Be cautious, as this is one of her favored attacks.

When you’re not right next to Professor Eliza, make sure to take advantage of your Barrage skill. This is invaluable for breaking her stance. Also, when your gauge is full, look for the perfect moment to use your Attuner Arts.

Additionally, keep an eye out for her fire attacks, as these can inflict a burn effect that inflicts damage over time. While her regular attacks aren’t too difficult to handle, it’s essential to be well-prepared before you engage. Ensure you have the best totems, abilities, and gear ready for this encounter.

  • Defeating Gilroy the Admin in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

Defeating Gilroy the Admin in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

After taking down all the initial bosses and conquering King of the Garbage Heap in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, you’re set to face a tough new adversary. Once you’ve tackled the previous boss, you’ll meet Gilroy, the Administrator. Right off the bat, he will accuse you of being responsible for the Rain of Death and will attempt to take you down personally.

This boss hits hard and can effectively block your attacks. To come out on top, you’ll need to think outside the box. Here’s a straightforward guide on how to defeat him with minimal hassle.

How to Defeat Gilroy, the Administrator

    Attack Name

    Description

    Countermeasure

    Double Front Slash

Gilroy performs a quick double slash. The first strike is swift, while the second comes after a slight delay and has a larger hitbox.

You can either parry the first slash using Shackled Beast’s Counter and dodge the second or dodge the first and parry the second. The latter is the recommended option.

    Shield Bash

He will charge at you with his shield raised, causing an explosion upon impact.

This attack can be tricky to evade; miscalculating the timing could get you hit by the explosion. Dodge right after he charges, then counterattack.

    Flame Tornado

Gilroy conjures a flame tornado in front of him.

Evade this attack and utilize the Barrage skill.

    Air Slash

The boss jumps back and slashes the air, sending a slow-moving projectile your way.

Simply dodge the projectile and use your Barrage skill to close the gap.

Gilroy can be quite challenging, especially at higher difficulty levels. His health pool is substantial, and his attacks can be annoying, particularly the shield bash. He may repeat this attack frequently, so stay alert. However, the rest of his moves shouldn’t cause too much trouble.

When Gilroy uses his Air Slash, be sure to dodge and quickly move in for damage, as you’ll have an opportunity to strike.

Keep in mind that his Double Front Slash can be troublesome, as its timing can throw off your dodging. Once you defeat him, you’ll earn the Attuner Arts ability, which unlocks special moves for Attuner.
