  • Completing the Quest for Softstep Boots in Dune: Awakening

Completing the Quest for Softstep Boots in Dune: Awakening

Venturing across Arrakis on foot isn’t the best idea in Dune: Awakening. You risk sunstroke quickly, not to mention you’ll deplete your water supplies much faster. Plus, being in the open desert puts you at risk of becoming sandworm prey. However, sometimes walking is your only option.

The good news is the MMO offers various tools and gear that can simplify travel. For instance, the Softstep Boots can relieve some pressure when traversing sandy terrains. Since these boots are unique, their schematics can be tricky to obtain, but this guide will help you find them.

How to Unlock the Softstep Boot Schematic

To unlock the Softstep Boots, your first step is to locate their schematic. Fortunately, this item is available early and midway through the game, making it relatively easy to find.

You can discover the schematic at Imperial Testing Station No. 197, situated in the Western Vermillius Gap. Look for it in the southern area, just west of a rocky cluster featuring a large hammer.

While you’re searching, consider launching a probe to pinpoint the exact location of the station. Be cautious, as it’s surrounded by open desert, which may pose challenges in reaching it.

Tip: Using a vehicle like a sandbike can help you reach the station quickly.

Once you find and enter the testing station, you’ll need to venture underground and fight your way through. The Imperial Testing Station isn’t overly tough, but having the right gear is advisable for navigating the dungeon.

After battling enemies and reaching the bottom of the station, you’ll locate the schematic for the Softstep Boots inside a large chest. Be sure to loot the chest, as it contains additional resources you’ll need to craft the boots.

Note: There’s no guaranteed drop rate for the schematic. If it doesn’t appear on your first visit, wait a bit and return. Your chances of finding the schematic improve with each visit to the testing station.

Assuming you’ve secured the schematic, head back to your base for research. Researching the boots will grant you an Imperial Permit that allows you to craft them again later.

However, once you craft them the second time, your ability to replicate them will pause until you regain the schematic and research it again. Since the schematic only spawns in one place, you can farm it by repeatedly visiting the testing station.

How to Craft the Softstep Boots

Before crafting the Softstep Boots, gather the required resources. While most materials are relatively easy to find, a few are rarer and may take more effort to locate.

To obtain Iron Ingots, search for Iron Ore scattered throughout the Vermillius Gap and harvest it using a Cutteray Mk1 or a better tool. Then, use an Ore Refinery to turn the ore into ingots.

You can mostly find Plasteel Microflora Fiber from shipwrecks on Arrakis; search inside wreck chests for this material. Plant Fibers are plentiful; you can find them on the ground next to rock clusters. For Spice-Infused Iron Dust, check any testing stations in the Vermillius Gap.

Warning: When wearing the Softstep Boots in the open desert, stay vigilant. While they make you quieter, you’re not entirely silent, meaning sandworms can still detect you. However, they do offer a bit more safety for wandering in risky areas.

Once you have all the necessary resources, you can craft the boots in either a standard Fabricator or a Garment Fabricator. Regardless of the fabricator you choose, you’ll need the same quantity of ingredients to proceed.

  • Completing the Crafting of Lubricant in Dune: Awakening

Completing the Crafting of Lubricant in Dune: Awakening

Lubricant is a vital resource on Arrakis, essential for various processes in Dune: Awakening. You can craft two types of lubricant in large quantities: low-grade lubricant and industrial-grade lubricant, each requiring different resources.

If you’re curious about how to find or create lubricant in Dune: Awakening and its uses, you’ve come to the right place. This guide covers everything you need to know about gathering the resources for crafting lubricant and how to employ it in the game.

    What Is Lubricant Used For?

Lubricant is an essential resource for powering your sub-fief.

After you’ve researched turbine technology in Dune: Awakening, you can build these machines to keep your base powered without needing to constantly refuel with fuel cells.

This allows you to leave your base unattended for extended periods, as long as you continue crafting lubricant.

    How To Craft Lubricant

To create lubricant, it’s crucial to know which type you need and the resources required for each. There are two kinds of lubricant in Dune: Awakening:

    1. Low-Grade Lubricant – Used for omnidirectional turbines.
    2. Industrial-Grade Lubricant – Used for directional turbines.

    How To Craft Low-Grade Lubricant

Making low-grade lubricant is quite straightforward. You’ll need the following resources:

    • Fuel Cells: 2
    • Water: 4
    • Silicone Block: 1

You can create low-grade lubricant in either a small or medium chemical refinery. Using a medium refinery cuts down on the required resources and quickens production time.

Fuel cells and water can be located throughout the map using your cutteray and blood harvester.

You’ll also need to refine Silicone Blocks from Flour Sand, found in specific areas.

Look for white dust clouds over the sand and use a Static Compactor to harvest them.

    How To Craft Industrial-Grade Lubricant

Crafting industrial-grade lubricant is slightly more complex, as this lubricant requires spice.

Here are the resources you’ll need:

    • Fuel Cells: 8
    • Water: 15
    • Silicone Block: 4
    • Spice Residue: 5

You can also create industrial-grade lubricant in either a small or medium chemical refinery. As before, using a medium refinery reduces both production time and resource costs.

To get Spice Residue, you’ll need to set up a Spice Refinery and refine Spice Sand into Spice Residue.

This process may take longer if you haven’t accessed the Deep Desert, as spice sand deposits are less common in the Hagga Basin.

  • Completing Dune: Awakening Solo – A Guide to Solving It

Completing Dune: Awakening Solo – A Guide to Solving It

    Quick Links

Dune: Awakening is primarily designed as a multiplayer experience, encouraging players to team up and cooperate effectively. However, if you prefer to go solo, there are strategies to help you thrive alone.

While you may encounter challenges in certain areas, there are shortcuts and tactics to enhance your solo gameplay experience. If you’re new to Dune: Awakening and want to enjoy it solo, here’s what to keep in mind.

    Should You Play Solo?

Before diving into Dune: Awakening, ask yourself if solo play is right for you. Playing with a guild can enhance the experience by sharing resources and completing quests together.

If you decide to pursue a solo adventure, consider these points:

    1. Sub-Fief Limits: Playing alone restricts you to three sub-fiefs, so keep that in mind.
    2. Resource Gathering: Expect resource collection to take a lot longer without teammates.
    3. Solo Quests: You’ll handle all quests by yourself when playing solo.
    4. Skill Diversity: Relying solely on yourself means you need a varied skill tree and class build for combat.

If the thought of a solo journey excites you, keep the above in mind. Playing alone can be a rewarding challenge.

    Note:

You’re not locked into solo play; you can team up with others later if you change your mind.

What Class Should You Play Solo?

In Dune: Awakening, there are four main classes to choose from:

    • Bene Gesserit
    • Swordsman
    • Trooper
    • Mentat

While all classes can work solo, two stand out for solo players:

Starting Solo Class Why You Should Play
Trooper Starting as a Trooper enhances your gunplay skills, which are essential early on. Plus, it allows you to bypass specific quests, saving you time. Troopers also have strong mobility skills.
Bene Gesserit This class excels in crowd control and has abilities that facilitate quick travel. Finding the Bene Gesserit trainer can be time-consuming if you don’t choose this class.

    Completing The Tutorial Solo

To begin your solo journey, you’ll want to get through the tutorial quickly. Here are steps to help you finish effectively:

    Tutorial Step Details
Construct A Central Sub-Fief Place your sub-fief centrally to minimize travel time, ideally near the Wreck of the Alcyon.
Don’t Get Distracted Focus on the tutorial missions from Zantara to speed up your progression.
Gather Resources Collect resources while working on main tutorial missions to save time later.

Your aim in the tutorial is to construct a sandbike to access the wider game world. Focus on gathering:

    • Copper
    • Particle Capacitors
    • Advanced Servoks

The more resources you collect early on, the quicker you can complete the mission.

    Tip:

Completing contracts will earn you Solaris, which can be used to buy vital items like Particle Capacitors.

    How To Play Solo

Once you leave the tutorial area, your adventure starts. Although you can explore freely, it’s wise to focus on key gameplay elements:

    Create Two Advanced Sub-Fiefs

As soon as possible, establish two advanced sub-fiefs at a distance. This will help you:

    • Reduce travel time
    • Increase storage capacity
    • Refine resources more efficiently

While it’s easier with a guild, managing resources will be on your shoulders as a solo player, making extra sub-fiefs beneficial.

    Focused Resource Harvesting

Stay concentrated on gathering one type of resource at a time. Specific map areas are rich in individual resources, so plan your expeditions around what you need and carry minimal equipment.

    Completing Quests Solo

While joining guilds can ease quest completion, here’s how to prioritize when going solo:

    • Trainer Quests: Seek these out to diversify your skills effectively.
    • Solaris-Based Contracts: Complete contracts whenever possible to keep your finances healthy, especially important for taxes.
    • Find the Fremen: Rapidly completing the Trials of Aql provides useful resources like the Stilltent.

    Diversify Your Skill Tree

Find trainers for each class to broaden your skills. Since you’ll be solo, having a diverse skill set will help you tackle various quests and challenges.

Focusing on these aspects will make your solo experience in Dune: Awakening more rewarding. Remember, it’s perfectly okay to seek help from guilds occasionally, but embracing the solo journey can present a unique challenge!

  • Completing the Emperor Wings Suspensor Belt in Dune: Awakening

Completing the Emperor Wings Suspensor Belt in Dune: Awakening

Sure! Here’s a revised version of your content in American English:

In Dune: Awakening, Suspensor Belts play a crucial role in your survival, just like shields do. As you navigate the terrain, particularly when climbing, jumping down can cause serious damage or even death. Suspensor Belts help absorb that impact, making it easier to move up and down rocky formations.

The performance of Suspensor Belts improves with higher quality versions. Luckily, you can snag a premium belt known as the Emperor’s Wings quite early in the game. This guide will show you how to find its schematic.

How to Obtain the Emperor’s Wings Suspensor Belt

If you’re not playing as the Trooper class, which has access to a grappling hook, the Emperor’s Wings become your next best option. However, like many unique items, obtaining it can be challenging.

Fortunately, you can find the schematic for the Mk1 Emperor’s Wings right at the beginning of Dune: Awakening, provided you know where to look. Head to the Imperial Testing Station No. Two, located on the north side of Hagga Basin South, the game’s starting area.

To reach the chest containing the schematic, battle through the dungeon. It’s advisable to bring a friend or two, as these testing stations can be tough to conquer alone unless you’re already at a higher level. After defeating all the enemies, the schematic for the Emperor’s Wings should be at the end of the dungeon.

Make sure to loot everything in the chest, as it typically contains the materials you’ll need to craft the belt. After securing the schematic, return to your base to research it. This process grants you an Imperial Permit, allowing you to create the belt one time.

You can revisit the testing station for another chance to get the schematic—it’s a guaranteed drop here. Plus, you can gather the resources again to repair the belt.

Here’s what you’ll need to craft the Mk1 Emperor’s Wings:

    • 8 Copper Ingots
    • 5 Spice-Infused Copper Dust
    • 6 Particle Capacitors

Finally, once you’ve gathered all the necessary materials, use the Fabricator to craft the Emperor Wings.

Locations of Other Emperor’s Wings Variants

You can discover improved versions of the belt throughout Arrakis. However, these areas often have tougher enemies, making the adventure more challenging but rewarding.

Unlike the Mk1, which is guaranteed to drop, the locations listed below may not always yield results. If you don’t find a schematic on your first attempt, feel free to revisit these spots multiple times until one appears.

    Emperor’s Wings Schematic Mk2

To find the second variant, head northwest of the Anvil Trading Post in the Eastern Vermillius Gap. Look around the northwestern edge, where you’ll find Ghanima Cavern.

    Emperor’s Wings Schematic Mk3

The third version can be located by heading east to Hagga Rift, opposite the Wreck of Kytheria, within a cavern called Riftrun Passage.

    Emperor’s Wings Schematic Mk4

To locate Mk4, go to the Southern Comms stronghold, which is northeast of Helius Gate in the Eastern Shield Wall. It’s likely worth your trip since you might also find a free Buggy there.

    Emperor’s Wings Schematic Mk5

For the Mk5 variant, head northwest into the Western Shield Wall to find Imperial Testing Station No. 60, which is situated in the northern part of the area.

    Emperor’s Wings Schematic Mk6

Finding the Mk6 belt is trickier, as it is only available in the Deep Desert (PVP) section of the game. Its appearance is random, meaning you may need to spend extra time searching for it. The best locations to check are caverns, strongholds, and testing stations.

A good tactic is to tackle the easier variants first. For Mk4 and Mk5 schematics, it’s wise to team up with others due to the strong enemies in those areas.

Feel free to let me know if you need further modifications or additional content!

  • Completing a Private Server in Dune: Awakening

Completing a Private Server in Dune: Awakening

In Dune: Awakening, players venture through the vast deserts of Arrakis, collecting resources, establishing bases, and participating in fierce PvP battles. The game features a continuous world that supports large-scale gameplay but also caters to those looking for more intimate experiences with friends.

If you want to create a more personalized space for you and your group, renting a private server is the best option. Unlike many PC-based private servers, Dune: Awakening requires you to rent servers through certified hosting partners. This guide will help you understand how to set up your own private server in the game.

What Is A Private Server In Dune: Awakening?

Dune: Awakening stands out from other survival games in that it does not allow players to host private servers on their own computers. Instead, you are required to rent a server through an approved hosting company.

When you create a private server, the only completely private and customizable area is the Hagga Basin map. Other areas, like hubs and the Deep Desert, are shared among different private servers. Access to the Hagga Basin is restricted to those with your server’s password, where you can build, gather spice, and engage in PvP (if turned on).

Your basin may connect to shared areas in some parts, but this is where you have true ownership and influence.

Shared zones are not governed by players; they are managed by the hosting provider to ensure that every server in the world stays connected.

You can easily switch between shared areas using the server selection menu. If you have a password, you can enter other servers, where your character, equipment, and progress will transfer. Unlike on official servers, you can even claim land on the servers you visit.

Upon entering a new private server, you’ll start at the Griffin’s Reach trade station, ready for exploration and engagement just like you would on your primary server.

    Private Server Details and Limitations

xREALM's Dune Awakening Control Panel Settings.

Private, rented servers offer some degree of customization, but they are not as flexible as those in Funcom’s Conan Exiles or other survival MMOs. Instead, the game adopts a hybrid system that allows communities to control specific settings while remaining connected to the larger multiplayer environment.

This setup provides a private experience while retaining the social and dynamic aspects of an MMO.

How To Rent And Host A Private Server

Nitrado Dune Awakening Server Hosting Website.

To rent your server, you can choose from approved hosting companies like GPORTAL, Nitrado, or xREALM. You’ll decide how many player slots you need, as well as a server “world,” which dictates shared access to common regions like social hubs and the Deep Desert.

Once your server is set up, you control the basic features and even get to name it and set a password for access.

Keep in mind that private servers do not currently include an admin control panel, and permanent character transfers between worlds are not supported.

Setting up a private server is straightforward through these official providers. Visit the website of one of the approved providers and select the plan that fits your needs:

    • GPORTAL offers plans starting at approximately $11.50 for six slots over 30 days.
    • Nitrado provides subscription or prepaid options, around $30 for 24 slots and $40 for 32 slots for 30 days.
    • xREALM has plans for six to 24 slots ranging from $15 to $30 per month, with options for more RAM.

Most private servers come with SSD storage, DDoS protection, user-friendly control panels, and 24/7 support. Setup is quick, and pricing is based on the number of slots. Choose a provider that suits your location, support needs, hardware preferences, and budget.

  • Completing the Advanced Bene Gesserit Quest in Dune: Awakening

Completing the Advanced Bene Gesserit Quest in Dune: Awakening

While exploring Arrakis in Dune: Awakening, you’ll encounter various advanced skill trainers, including a notable one named Jocasta, who specializes in the ways of the Bene Gesserit. If you’re eager to enhance your abilities with the Voice, you might be curious about how to begin.

This guide will provide you with all the information needed to locate, initiate, and complete the Advanced Bene Gesserit quest line in Dune: Awakening. Here’s how to get started.

Locating the Advanced Bene Gesserit Trainer

Before seeking out the Advanced Bene Gesserit Trainer, ensure that you’ve unlocked the primary skill tree.

Once that’s accomplished, head to Harko Village, where you’ll find Sister Jocasta in a secluded alley near the Vehicle Merchant.

For this quest line, be prepared to travel frequently between Arrakis and Harko Village.

Make sure to stock up on Solaris!

Simply talk to Jocasta to begin your first quest.

    Exploring the Depths of Mirzabah

Start by visiting Mirzabah, the large hammer-like structure located in the center of the Vermillius Gap.

Follow the map marker and enter the northern entrance of the cave, engaging any enemies you encounter inside.

Proceed to the main chamber, defeat the Kirab, and retrieve the Blue ID band found there.

These quests require significant travel, so ensure your vehicle is well-fueled.

Next, descend the stairs through the open blue door and scale the small wall on your right.

In this new room, look for a small urn tucked away in a corner. Collect it to complete this segment of the quest.

Finding the Path Up the Stone Sentinel

Your next task is to climb the Stone Sentinel. Follow the map to find a set of footlights and ropes.

Use these footlights and ropes to navigate your way up the Stone Sentinel.

It’s advisable to climb at night, as daytime climbing can lead to dehydration.

Continue following the trail of ropes and lights until you reach the top. Once there, search for another small urn to collect.

After gathering both urns, return to Jocasta.

Searching for the Panoplia Propheticus Fragment

Your next mission is to locate a fragment of a prophecy for Jocasta.

This segment features difficult enemies, so prepare accordingly.

Make sure you have a reliable shield, a suspensor belt, and a good sword and gun before you go.

Head to the designated point on your map and climb the structure to find the entrance to Stonestep Village about halfway up.

Before entering, set a Respawn Beacon outside to avoid backtracking if you happen to die.

You can either engage the enemies inside or try to sneak through to the marked point.

Make sure to bring your Resource Scanner to track the assailant.

Again, you’ll find a small urn next to some rubble on the second floor of Stonestep Village. However, this urn is broken. Utilize your Resource Scanner to follow the trail of the assailant.

    The House of Ilm

After scanning the urn, a new point will appear on your map: the House of Ilm.

The item you seek is located in the first room, making it easy to go in and out of this base.

Proceed to the first chamber of the House of Ilm, eliminate the enemies inside, and retrieve the urn surrounded by candles at the altar.

Then, return to Jocasta in Harko Village.

    Imperial Testing Station No. 71

Your next destination is Imperial Testing Station No. 71 to further investigate Kyne’s impact on the Bene Gesserit and the Fremen.

Go to the marked point and enter the testing station.

These stations are plentiful in resources, so exploring other rooms is worthwhile.

Descend the stairs to the central chamber, where you’ll encounter two locked purple doors.

First, enter the west chamber and defeat the enemies before heading southwest to the room lit by a red light. Collect the blue ID band from this area to proceed.

Next, go southeast, following the path up the stairs. Push through the newly opened blue door and defeat any enemies waiting inside.

Many foes in the Testing Station wield poisoned weapons, so have some medkits ready.

After clearing the area, search the small room to the east for a purple ID band among some ornamental candles. Retrieve the ID band before heading back to the main chamber.

Then, go through the north purple door, combat the enemies there, and pick up the book from the northeast alcove.

Finally, return to Jocasta in Harko Village.

    Head to the Ambush Point

Upon returning to Harko Village, you’ll find Jocasta is missing.

Speak with the man nearby (indicated on your map) who will direct you to Hannivar’s.

Purchase a Mélange Spiced Beer from the bartender, then approach the mercenaries in the back corner to offer the drink in exchange for information.

Ensure you have at least 1,000 Solari on hand for the Melange Spiced Beer.

Continue through the dialogue until he reveals the location of Jocasta and their planned ambush.

Next, head to the ambush point indicated on your map. Be ready for an unexpected wave of enemies; a tough fight awaits you.

Afterward, you’ll find Jocasta about 200 meters away (also marked on your map). Speak with her and agree to meet back in Harko Village.

Finally, return to Harko and speak to Jocasta to finish your Advanced Bene Gesserit training.

You can further unlock Capstone Bene Gesserit skills by finishing more contracts for Jocasta.

  • Completing the Quest: Finding a Buggy in Dune: Awakening

Completing the Quest: Finding a Buggy in Dune: Awakening

In Dune: Awakening, having a buggy can be incredibly valuable. This vehicle enables you to transport significantly more items, making it easier to move resources between bases. Additionally, it streamlines the process of resource gathering. However, it’s important to note that the buggy requires more maintenance and attention compared to other vehicles.

As a result, crafting a buggy is a bit complex and involves several steps. But once you’ve built it, navigating the unpredictable terrain of Arrakis can become much easier. This guide will explain how to obtain a buggy in Dune: Awakening.

    How to Craft a Buggy

To unlock the buggy’s blueprint, you’ll need to advance in the Research Menu. Check the Steel section of the Vehicle Tab for the schematic.

Player in Research Menu of Dune: Awakening with the Buggy Mk3 schematic selected.

Once you’ve accumulated 15 Intel Points, you can unlock the buggy bundle, which consists of the rear, chassis, hull, engine, power supply unit, and treads. Remember that, similar to the sandbike, you will need to craft four treads to make the buggy operational.

Additionally, there are separate schematics for the buggy’s storage, cutter, and booster. These can also be found in the Steel section of the Vehicle tab.

While you have the schematic, you will still need to craft each component using the resources listed below. If you’re at the mid-game point in Dune: Awakening, you should have access to most of these resources in ample quantities.

    How to Build the Buggy

When you have all the components ready, you can create them using a fabricator. However, this won’t be the same machine you used for the sandbike; you need to build a Vehicle Fabricator, which will cost around five Intel Points.

Once all parts—including the four treads—are crafted, use a Welding Torch to assemble everything. A basic torch will suffice, but for faster results, it’s advisable to use the Welding Torch Mk3.

Player using the Welding Tool to create a tread for the Buggy in Dune: Awakening.

The buggy is slower than the sandbike and can create a lot of noise, making it easier for sandworms to attack. Be cautious when venturing into the open desert.

Additionally, the buggy uses more fuel than the sandbike. Before you head out, be sure to craft several medium-sized Vehicle Fuel Cells to avoid running out of fuel.

    How to Find a Buggy

Player on a sandbike in Dune: Awakening near a Buggy in a structure.

Crafting a buggy can be simpler, but it takes time due to the number of resources needed. Alternatively, you can find buggies scattered throughout the world and “borrow” them. However, this method can prove to be quite challenging.

For an easier way to find a buggy, check enemy outposts on Arrakis. Many players have reported success at the Southern Comms stronghold, located in the eastern section of the Eastern Shield Wall.

Map of Dune: Awakening highlighting the Southern Comms location.

Luckily, the buggy isn’t deeply buried within enemy territory. Look for a garage-like structure at the base of the stronghold, where the vehicle will be located inside. Make sure to clear the area before taking the buggy.

  • Completing Your Cutteray in Dune: Awakening for Optimal Performance

Completing Your Cutteray in Dune: Awakening for Optimal Performance

In Dune: Awakening, an essential tool in your arsenal is the cutteray. Cutterays are vital for slicing through different materials in the open world, helping you gather resources such as rocks, ores, and mechanical components. Among these, Tarl’s Cutteray stands out as a special schematic that you can discover throughout Arrakis.

But how do you track down this schematic and create the cutteray? There are several locations worth checking out. If you’re on the quest for the best cutteray in the game, this guide is just what you need. Here’s how to find and craft Tarl’s Cutteray.

    How to Find Tarl’s Cutteray

Tarl’s Cutteray is a unique schematic, which means you’ll need a bit of luck to find it in a container as part of a drop.

However, despite its randomized nature, you don’t have to comb through all of Arrakis in search of it.

There are two specific areas in the O’Odham region where it’s more likely to be found.

    • Stonestep Village – The O’Odham
    • Imperial Testing Station No. 71 – The O’Odham

If you head to Stonestep Village in search of the cutteray, make sure to bring a Planar Suspensor Belt along.

In both of these locations, you’ll likely encounter rare cylindrical chests that might drop the schematic for Tarl’s Cutteray.

Keep in mind that, as a schematic, there’s no guarantee that these chests will drop Tarl’s Cutteray.

You might need to check each spot multiple times to get the drop.

If you’re visiting these sites and not having any luck, your next best option is to purchase the schematic from another player at The Exchange in Arrakeen or Harko Village.

If you go to a drop location and don’t find the schematic you want, you’ll need to wait 45 minutes for the chest to respawn.

    How to Craft Tarl’s Cutteray

Once you’ve secured the schematic, it’s time to gather materials to craft Tarl’s Cutteray. Remember, you’ll need a Survivor Fabricator for this process.

    Materials Amount Required
    EMF Generator 45
    Cobalt Paste 20
    Duraluminum Ingot 18
    Thermoelectric Cooler 8
    Ray Amplifier 12
    Spice-Infused Duraluminum Dust 10
    Water 450

Similar to the schematic itself, Spice-Infused Duraluminum Dust is usually found in chests as a random drop, making this cutteray harder to craft.

After you’ve gathered all the necessary materials, simply use your Survivor Fabricator to create the cutteray, and you’ll be ready to roll.

If you’re eager to get your hands on the cutteray but lack items like Thermoelectric Coolers, you can always purchase them on The Exchange.

  • Spotting Spice Fields in Dune: Awakening – Completing the Challenge

Spotting Spice Fields in Dune: Awakening – Completing the Challenge

In Dune: Awakening, Spice is not just a key resource; it’s also quite perilous to obtain. The situation becomes even more critical during the late game, as lacking Spice can restrict access to certain weapons and gear until you manage to find some.

Finding this valuable resource can be quite challenging, as it’s not as abundant as other items scattered across the landscape. You’ll need to take additional steps before Spice starts showing up. However, this guide will help you farm Spice more effectively.

    Identifying Spice Fields

Finding a Spice Field is straightforward, but reaching it can be tricky.

While exploring Arrakis, keep an eye out for large columns of purple smoke rising from the ground. These indicate areas where you’ll easily collect Spice. However, they don’t last forever, so make sure to act quickly when they appear.

The main challenge is that these columns are often in open desert areas, which makes you vulnerable to sandworm attacks if you’re not careful.

To reduce the likelihood of attracting a sandworm, remove any gear that causes vibrations. This will give you a better chance to safely gather Spice.

So, whenever you’re out in the open desert, it’s essential to use a vehicle for protection.

    How to Collect Spice

As noted earlier, there’s a prerequisite to begin collecting Spice. Thankfully, this requirement is closely tied to the main storyline of Dune: Awakening.

To gather Spice, you’ll need a Static Compactor. You can obtain the schematic for this tool by completing the second Trial of Aql.

Once you’ve completed the second trial and created your Static Compactor, head to any of the purple smoke columns. When you arrive, you’ll see purple markings on the ground, signifying that Spice is present.

To collect it, activate the Static Compactor and follow the on-screen instructions on the purple sand.

You can also gather Spice by hand, but this method is not recommended as it takes much longer and increases the chance of a sandworm attack.

Exercise caution when using the Static Compactor, as it can attract sandworms easily. Be particularly careful in areas like Drum Sand, which heightens vibration detection. Instead, opt for more open desert zones with lower sandworm activity.

  • Completing the Fremen Deathstill in Dune: Awakening Guide

The Fremen Deathstill is a crucial tool in Dune: Awakening. Unlike many other items that require only research with Intel points, unlocking the Deathstill involves completing a specific quest line. But the effort is definitely worth it!

If you’re looking for guidance on how to locate and utilize the Fremen Deathstill, this guide has you covered. Although the process is more complex than others, we’ll provide you with all the steps needed to research and make the Fremen Deathstill.

    Obtaining the Fremen Deathstill

A Fremen Deathstill in Dune: Awakening.

To acquire the Deathstill, you’ll need to finish the entire Footsteps of the Fremen quest line, which entails completing all eight Trials of Aql.

Although the quest line is lengthy, you can finish all eight trials in around two to three hours with determination.

Once you’ve completed the trials, you will unlock the Fremen Deathstill research project in your tech tree automatically.

Simply head back to your base to create a Deathstill.

    Creating the Fremen Deathstill

A player in Dune: Awakening constructing the Fremen Deathstill in their sub-fief.

To build the Fremen Deathstill, you need the following materials in your sub-fief:

    • Silicone Block – 28
    • Complex Machinery – 32
    • Steel Ingot – 60

Once you have gathered these items, simply open your Construction Tool and place the Fremen Deathstill in your sub-fief.

Be aware that the Fremen Deathstill requires approximately 200 power, so ensure you have enough generators or turbines in place.

Without power, the Deathstill won’t function effectively.

    Using the Fremen Deathstill

The water management screen for the Fremen Deathstill in Dune: Awakening.

With the Fremen Deathstill set up, you can now produce water.

To use it, you must defeat an enemy and bring their corpse back to your sub-fief. For this, a buggy will help transport the body.

Remember, once you load up your buggy with items, including bodies, you won’t be able to store it in your Vehicle Replicator.

So, ensure you have adequate fuel available.

From there, just place the body on the Fremen Deathstill to start the water extraction process.

The Deathstill generates about 25,000 water per hour, making it the most effective method for securing water for you and your sub-fief.

As you progress in Dune: Awakening, you can also craft the Advanced Fremen Deathstill, which yields 45,000 water in a shorter time frame.

Duraluminum will be needed for this upgrade, so you must have accessed the Deep Desert by then.

  • Completing the Search for Military Power Regulators in Dune: Awakening

Completing the Search for Military Power Regulators in Dune: Awakening

Military Power Regulators: Your Key to Strength in Dune: Awakening

As you approach the mid-to-late game in Dune: Awakening, Military Power Regulators become essential. They enable you to create advanced machinery for your base and unlock stronger vehicles, making it highly beneficial to stockpile them.

The challenge with Military Power Regulators, like many late-game items, is that they can be hard to track down. However, they tend to appear in specific areas that are often close together, which may simplify your search. This guide will help you locate Military Power Regulators effectively.

Where to Find Military Power Regulators

Military Power Regulators are location-specific, resulting in their rarity. Once you figure out where they spawn, you can gather them in larger quantities.

Be mindful that areas housing Military Power Regulators are usually protected by heavily armored enemies. It can be much easier to tackle these locations with a team or with robust gear.

Keep reading to discover the best farming spots for these regulators.

    The Aegis

The Aegis is a large stronghold located in the northern part of the Western Shield Wall. You can also approach it from the Eastern Shield Wall, as these regions are side by side.

Before attempting to collect Military Power Regulators here, be sure to clear out the stronghold. The enemy presence can make it tough to gather what you need if you don’t.

Important Note: The Aegis is a PVP zone. Arrive well-prepared, as you may face both NPC enemies and other players.

While looting, don’t expect to find regulators in every container. Be sure to search the two towers flanking the stronghold to maximize your haul.

    Edge of Acheron

This region is located in the westernmost part of Sheol and can present some challenges due to radiation issues. There are few rock formations available to shield you from the sandworm.

Fortunately, the specific area that contains the regulators is not hazardous, allowing for easier access.

Tip: Despite the lack of radiation, protective spots from the sandworm are still sparse. Consider crafting a fast vehicle like a sandbike for easier navigation.

To farm the regulators here, head to the Edge of Acheron stronghold in the center of the region. Be cautious, as this section is also PVP, and you might encounter other players.

You can approach this side of Sheol from the northern region of Mysa Tarill, where a few rock formations can help guide you to the stronghold without much exposure to open sand. Similar to The Aegis, ensure to clear the base of enemies before you begin looting. You’ll also find Hydraulic Pistons in this area, which are just as vital as the regulators.

How to Purchase Military Power Regulators

If you prefer avoiding the risks of these areas, you can always buy Military Power Regulators from select vendors.

One convenient place to find them is at the Crossroad Tradepost in the heart of Mysa Tarill, where they cost around 3,500 Solari.

If you’re in Arrakeen or Harko Village, you can also purchase them from vehicle vendors at similar prices.

Given their high cost, it’s wise to attempt gathering them before resorting to purchasing.

  • Completing the Advanced Swordmaster Quest in Dune: Awakening

If you choose to start as a swordmaster in Dune: Awakening or unlock the swordmaster trainer later, you can pursue the advanced swordmaster trainer to enhance your blade skills further. Mastering swordplay is crucial for survival on Arrakis since many foes are equipped with Holtzman Shields, which only blades can penetrate.

This guide will help you gain mastery with your blade. You’ll learn how to navigate the advanced swordmaster quest, including the essential steps to complete this mission in Dune: Awakening.

How to Begin the Advanced Swordmaster Quest

To kick off this quest, you’ll need to head to Harko Village using an ornithopter.

When you arrive at Harko Village, make your way to the alley behind the CHOAM Exchange and look for a blind man with bandages covering his eyes. This is your advanced swordmaster trainer.

He’ll explain that your first task is to gather intel at a bar called Hannivar’s and later retrieve his missing sword hilt. Seron is out for revenge against those who wronged him and stole from him.

Just interact with him to begin your quest.

This quest includes some challenging combat scenarios, so be sure to equip a Holtzman Shield, a Suspensor Belt, and bring along plenty of health kits or bandages before you dive into this quest line.

    Investigating Hannivar’s

Go to Hannivar’s, which is nearby the advanced swordmaster. While you can chat with the bar patrons to get a sense of the situation, your main goal is to head to the back corner of the bar.

There, look for a large scroll and interact with it to read the contents. You’ll use this information to confront a mercenary named Elara, who hired Sandflies to attack Seron.

Elara can be found in the back room across from the bar.

If you attempt to talk to Elara first, she’ll tell you there’s nothing to discuss. You can only proceed with the quest after finding the scroll.

After speaking with Elara, return to Seron with the information she provided.

Then, he will share the location of his missing sword hilt, which you need to find before you can receive training from him.

    Returning the Sword Hilt

After your conversation with Seron, he will mark the Sandflies’ base location on your map.

Head to the Eastern Shield Wall area and ensure you stock up on ammo and health kits before proceeding.

Climb up the side of the Shield Wall to locate the base, then take out the enemies inside. You’ll need to defeat the Sandflies leader, who wields a flamethrower and can be found in the back room on the second floor of the base.

Once you defeat this enemy, loot their body to acquire the sword hilt.

Finally, return to Seron and give him the hilt to unlock the advanced swordmaster skill tree.

After completing this quest, you can keep taking on contracts for Seron to unlock even more advanced skills.

  • Completing the Advanced Trooper Quest in Dune: Awakening

Completing the Advanced Trooper Quest in Dune: Awakening

In Dune: Awakening, after you unlock a class’s skill tree, you’ll find advanced trainers across Arrakis. These trainers can help you access the next level of skills. Start by locating the trainers and completing an introductory contract. Once that’s done, you can take on more contracts to gain additional skills.

The Trooper class is excellent in Dune: Awakening, especially with the advanced skills available. Since most combat is ranged, focusing on this skill tree is beneficial. Here’s how to locate the advanced Trooper trainer and begin your training.

How To Start The Advanced Trooper Quest

To kick off the advanced Trooper quest, you first need to unlock the Trooper skill tree if you haven’t done so already. You can accomplish this by visiting Griffin’s Reach and chatting with the trainer there.

Next, make your way to Arrakeen to meet the advanced Trooper trainer, a woman named Kara. You’ll find her on the second floor, in front of ornate doors with a suspensor light above her.

Just talk to Kara to initiate the advanced Trooper quest.

The dialogue with Kara is lengthy because she’ll initially resist your request for training. Keep selecting options to keep the conversation going, and she will eventually provide you with a contract.

    How To Find The Transmitters

The first task in Kara’s quest is to locate some transmitters to support her Semuta habit. She’ll mark the location of a slaver’s base called the Sweep, located just north of the Eastern Vermillius Gap.

    Infiltrating The Sweep

Travel to this location and enter the base. Prepare yourself for combat, as you’ll encounter numerous enemies.

Ascend to the top floor and search for an open book on a table next to a lamp. Reading it will provide intel on the transmitters.

If you don’t have a Holtzman Shield, this is a good time to make one before proceeding with the quest.

    Return To Kara

Once you have the information, eliminate the enemies to find two transmitters on their bodies. Collect them and return to Kara in Arrakeen.

Completing this quest will require several trips back to Arrakeen. Ensure you have an ornithopter or enough Solari for transportation.

    How To Find Tuco

Unfortunately, upon returning to Arrakeen, you might realize that the transmitters don’t function for Kara. You’ll now need to contact Tuco, a connection of hers, to find operational ones.

    Harko Village

To find Tuco, head to Harko Village. Kara will mention that if Tuco doesn’t show up, the bartender at Hannivar’s should have information on his whereabouts.

Before you proceed, remember the passphrase that Kara gives you to interact with the bartender at Hannivar’s.

Visit Harko Village and head to the location on your map in the back of the town square. If Tuco is not there, continue to Hannivar’s to advance the quest.

    Hannivar’s

Go to Hannivar’s, which should be indicated on your map, and talk to Anoushka, the bartender.

Share the passphrase you received from Kara to ask about Tuco. She’ll inform you that you need his coordinates from a ledger in the back room.

Check the designated area in Hannivar’s and read the book.

While you’re in Harko Village, consider finding the advanced swordmaster to begin that quest too; they’re located in the back alley behind Hannivar’s.

Return to Anoushka, and she will mark Tuco’s location on your map.

    Finding Tuco

Now, you’ll need to locate Tuco’s stash, which is on the west side of Jabal Eifrit as marked on your map.

Before heading out, make sure you’ve built either a Vehicle Resource Scanner or a Handheld Resource Scanner, as you will need one to complete this quest.

Once at the stash, you’ll find it empty—Tuco is gone, along with his supplies. Use your Resource Scanner to examine the area.

This will uncover footprints leading into the Hagga Rift, revealing a new quest location on your map.

    The Hagga Rift

Finding Tuco in the Hagga Rift can be tricky, as the quest marker isn’t particularly helpful.

Instead of following the marker, head toward CHOAM Mineral Extraction Facility #6 (use a Survey Probe to discover it).

Once inside the facility, take out the enemies you encounter. You’ll then reach a radiation zone; make sure you’re wearing a Holtzman Shield or a radiation suit.

If you don’t have protective gear, be quick to find Tuco inside to avoid taking damage from radiation.

Enter the radiation area and look for a crashed sandbike and a hanging body. This is Tuco and the remnants of his stash. Simply interact with the body, then return to Kara to finish the advanced Trooper quest.

Once you complete this quest, Kara will offer additional training contracts to help enhance your Trooper skills further.

  • Completing Your Sub-Fief Location in Dune: Awakening

Completing Your Sub-Fief Location in Dune: Awakening

Early in Dune: Awakening, you’ll need to establish your first sub-fief, or base, in the South Hagga Basin, which serves as the game’s tutorial area. From there, as you delve deeper into the expansive world of Arrakis, you’ll have the freedom to set up a new sub-fief almost anywhere on the map, though some areas are restricted. You might be curious about the best spots to construct your sub-fief.

If you’re looking for ideal locations to build, this guide is for you. Here’s a rundown of the prime spots on Arrakis where you can set up your base in Dune: Awakening.

    Where Can You Build Sub-Fiefs?

When choosing a location for your base or sub-fief, there are several factors to consider regarding where you can and can’t build.

    Base Building Requirements

    Details

    Support

If you see a message saying ‘not enough support’ while placing a sub-fief console, it usually indicates that the console is positioned too high.

To elevate your sub-fief, you can move your console later. Use it to define your land plot, and then use foundations to raise your base as needed.

    Not On Open Sand

Although there’s technically no rule against building on open sand, it’s unwise as this exposes your base to sandworms.

    Sub-Fief Distanced

You cannot position another sub-fief console too close to an existing sub-fief console, even if it’s your own.

    Not Near POIs

Building zones are restricted near points of interest such as trade posts and shipwrecks.

Apart from these restrictions, you can build your sub-fief console in most areas of Arrakis. However, certain locations are definitely more advantageous than others.

    Best Early Game Base Locations

In the initial stages of your journey in Dune: Awakening, you will create a sub-fief in the South Hagga Basin. You’ll have considerable flexibility in choosing where to build your base.

The ideal strategy is to select a location near most of the main tutorial quests you’ll embark on. This gives you several excellent options for your base in the early game:

For the early game, there’s really no wrong choice for your sub-fief location. These spots are mainly helpful to minimize the back-and-forth travel across the map.

    Best Late Game Base Locations

After you leave the South Hagga Basin, your journey through Arrakis will open up a vast map to explore. Once again, you have significant flexibility in determining where to place your sub-fief.

However, you should keep a few key considerations in mind when selecting a base location:

    1. Centrality
    2. Nearby Resources
    3. Hazards

With these factors in mind, here are some prime locations to consider for your sub-fief in the mid to late game:

Keep in mind that while you can build bases in the Deep Desert, they will be reset each week when the map resets.

  • Completing Your Quest: Solving How to Join House Atreides in Dune

Completing Your Quest: Solving How to Join House Atreides in Dune

In Dune: Awakening, the Landsraad and the noble houses of the Imperium significantly impact your gameplay. To gain access to the Landsraad and affiliate with factions, your first step is to find and ally with either House Harkonnen or House Atreides. These two houses are locked in a constant rivalry, so choose wisely where to place your loyalty.

If you’re unsure about how to begin, this guide is here to assist. We’ll cover everything you need to know about finding and joining House Atreides in Dune: Awakening.

    How to Find House Atreides

To connect with House Atreides, you’ll need to locate their envoy on Arrakis, Lieutenant Anton Tolliver. Start your search at The Anvil trade post located in the Eastern Vermillius Gap.

Arriving at the trade post for the first time will trigger a cutscene where you’ll witness Tolliver in a confrontation with a Harkonnen envoy named Levenbrech Maxim Kazmir.

After the cutscene, you can interact with both envoy characters, initiating questlines to join either House Atreides or House Harkonnen.

Your commitment to either faction isn’t required until the final quest.

    How to Join House Atreides

Once you find Tolliver, approach him and offer your services to assist House Atreides. He will inform you that, before you can officially commit to the house, you must complete a series of contracts to demonstrate your loyalty.

In total, you will need to complete four contracts for the Atreides:

    1. The Missing Spy
    2. Test of Prowess
    3. Test of Cunning
    4. Test of Loyalty

    Completing The Missing Spy

After your initial conversation with Tolliver, you can request a contract to help declare your loyalty to House Atreides. Your first mission is to track down a missing spy in the Vermillius Gap.

Upon finishing this quest, you will have the choice to report your findings to either Tolliver or the Harkonnens, branching your quest line.

To find the missing spy, head south of the Anvil trade post to the marked rock formation. Ascend the structure’s face to find a small camp.

Be aware that various Kirab camps are scattered throughout the area; however, the spy’s camp is situated at a much higher elevation compared to the Kirab camps.

At the camp, you’ll find a deceased body and a recorded transmission. Simply play the transmission and return to Tolliver to report.

    Completing Test Of Prowess

Next, Tolliver will instruct you to deal with ruthless slavers located north of the Anvil. To prove your loyalty to House Atreides, he requires you to eliminate ten slavers.

You can either head to the location marked on your map or hunt slavers throughout the Jabal Eifrit region, which lies north of the Anvil.

The best spots to encounter slavers are the Intel stations within this region.

Whether you go to the marked point or explore other bases in the area, take out ten slavers and then report back to Tolliver.

If you don’t already possess one, consider crafting a Holtzman Shield before engaging with the slavers.

    Completing Test Of Cunning

Now, Tolliver will require you to conduct espionage for House Atreides. You must interview a Harkonnen operative named Lanov.

Lanov has a dependency on a drug called Semuta. Use this information to gather intelligence on the Harkonnens.

Head to the Harkonnen fortress to the east of the Anvil, and look for Lanov under a small canopy. You can then proceed to interrogate him.

Depending on your character’s build and background, you might receive unique dialogue choices during this interrogation.

When conversing with Lanov, select the following dialogue options to extract the necessary information:

    1. ‘Now there’s a man who’s deep into his Semuta.’
    2. ‘Yeah, you’re swimming in it. Wouldn’t remember my face in five minutes.’
    3. ‘A musician who knows how to play it is worth their weight in spice.’
    4. ‘Maxim Kazmir sent me to observe you.’

Avoid selecting ‘Goodbye’ to successfully complete the interrogation.

This interview requires finesse; avoid options that seem too aggressive, as they may scare Lanov away.

    Completing Test Of Loyalty

For your final contract, report back to Tolliver. You’ll discover that Maxim is a Semuta addict, and you can use this intelligence to blackmail him, proving your value to House Atreides.

Keep in mind, after completing this step, joining House Harkonnen will be more challenging.

Speak with Tolliver again, and he’ll provide the location of a Semuta den in the Western Vermillius Gap.

The den is situated within Imperial Testing Station 13, which you might have encountered during your adventures.

Travel west to the testing station, which is relatively straightforward to navigate. Head down to the lowest level and retrieve the two access bracelets from the side rooms.

Afterward, proceed through the purple door.

If you’re low on Calibrated Servoks, the Imperial Testing Station is a great source for these parts.

Inside the Semuta den, defeat the enemies and collect the record of all of Maxim’s Semuta purchases, which can be used for blackmail. The records will be found in a chest located near a small fire pit at the back of the room.

Once you have gathered the necessary evidence, return to the Anvil and inform Tolliver that you wish to join House Atreides.

You can choose to betray Tolliver and join House Harkonnen later if you wish, but regaining Tolliver’s trust will be quite difficult.

  • Completing Dune: Awakening by Solving Carbide Scrap Locations

Completing Dune: Awakening by Solving Carbide Scrap Locations

The ornithopter in Dune: Awakening lets you cover vast distances quickly while sidestepping sandworms. However, crafting these machines can be tricky due to a crucial resource that’s not easy to find: Carbide Scraps. This material is among the rarer items in the game.

While Carbide Scraps can spawn in a few locations on Arrakis, they have a low drop rate, so you might need to search for a while before you come across any. This guide will help you pinpoint the best places to find Carbide Scraps.

    Where to Find Carbide Scraps

There are at least two key locations where you can find Carbide Scraps, but be warned—these areas are very dangerous and filled with enemies. It’s wise to come prepared.

A crafted sandbike can help you reach these sites more efficiently, as they are quite far apart. Just make sure to bring enough fuel for your journey.

    Hand of Khidr

Your first target should be north of Eastern Vermillius Gap in Jabal Eifrit Al-janub, specifically at the Hand of Khidr. You’ll find this location in the southern part of the Jabal Eifrit Al-janub region, easily identifiable by the tallest mountain on the map.

Before diving into the Hand of Khidr dungeon, clear out the surrounding area known as the Shadow of Khidr. This step is essential since there’s a chance to find Carbide Scraps in the chests located there.

Once the coast is clear, enter the dungeon. As you explore deeper, you’ll discover chests that have an increased chance of containing Carbide Scraps compared to those on the surface.

    Mysa Tarill

West of Jabal Eifrit Al-janub, you’ll find another region called Mysa Tarill. This area also contains Carbide Scraps, but it’s significantly tougher to navigate than the Hand of Khidr.

To make your trek easier, progress in the story of Dune: Awakening to unlock better gear. When you reach Mysa Tarill, head toward the Crossroad Tradepost located in the northern part of the zone.

If you’re willing to spend around 3,500 Solaris, you can buy Carbide Scraps from a vendor named Zoe at the trade post. They’re also available at weapon vendors in Arrakeen and Harko Village.

Unlike the Hand of Khidr, this outpost doesn’t have a specific name, which may make it harder to spot. If you’re at the Crossroad Trade Post, look for a wall with a large opening in the middle. The outpost is directly on the other side.

As with the Hand of Khidr, take care of any foes in the vicinity before entering the dungeon. You’ll need an armband to gain access, which can easily be found to the right of the large projecting head, located just outside the dungeon entrance.

  • Completing the Exchange in Dune: Awakening for Effective Solving

Completing the Exchange in Dune: Awakening for Effective Solving

In Dune: Awakening, you’ll come across a wide variety of items, resources, and weapons. As you progress, it’s likely you’ll end up with some duplicates while searching for others. This is where the Exchange, or CHOAM Exchange, comes into play.

The Exchange operates as an open marketplace where players can buy and sell to each other directly. You can swap your extra resources for Solari or make some money by selling items you don’t need. Here’s a clear guide on how to use the Exchange in Dune: Awakening.

    What Is The Exchange?

The Exchange is a significant virtual marketplace located on Arrakis. Here, you can engage in trade with other players, rather than just dealing with NPC vendors.

The Exchange is an excellent way to earn extra Solari, especially if you have multiple copies of a resource.

However, before you can access the Exchange, you need to reach a specific point in your gameplay.

    Where Is The Exchange?

An ornithopter pilot in a settlement in Dune: Awakening.

In Dune: Awakening, you can find the Exchange in two locations:

    1. Arrakeen
    2. Harko Village

To reach these areas, you’ll need to hire an Ornithopter Pilot for 2,500 Solari.

Since you’ll have to pay to get to Arrakeen and Harko Village, make sure you have ample items to sell before you travel.

If you own your Ornithopter, you can fly to these locations yourself. However, building one can be expensive, so it may take a while before you’re ready to take that step.

    Arrakeen Exchange Location

In Arrakeen, the Exchange is conveniently placed near the entrance. Just go up the stairs and turn left. You’ll see the CHOAM Exchange symbol outside.

    Harko Village Exchange Location

In Harko Village, you can find the Exchange towards the back of the map. Move down the main road, and look for the CHOAM Exchange symbol in the center area.

    How To Use The Exchange

A red circle and arrow indicating an Exchange terminal in Dune: Awakening.

Once you’re inside the Exchange building, head towards one of the Exchange Terminals located on the walls.

This will bring up the Exchange interface, where you can:

    1. Buy Items
    2. Sell Items
    3. Track Active Orders

    How To Buy Items

The buy items screen in the Exchange in Dune: Awakening.

Buying items is straightforward. Use the interface on the left side of the screen to search for items you want or scroll through to see what others are selling. Simply select the items you wish to purchase, as long as you have enough Solari.

The Exchange is a useful place to buy items that you haven’t yet unlocked in your Research Tree.

    How To Sell Items

The UI for selling Aluminum Ore on the Exchange in Dune: Awakening.

To sell items, switch to the ‘Sell Items’ tab and select the item you wish to sell.

The top sellers in the Exchange are generally spice, vehicles, and rare resources.

If you’re well-off in spice early in the game, consider diving into the spice market.

Once selected, you will see a menu where you can set:

    1. Price Per Unit
    2. Quantity To Sell
    3. Duration

You can define the duration for which your item will be on sale, ranging from one to 14 real-world days.

Keep in mind that you’ll need enough Solari in the CHOAM Exchange to cover any fees associated with the sale, which will be shown in your interface.

To deposit Solari, visit the front desk at any CHOAM Exchange and talk to the teller.

Finally, you can check the ‘My Orders’ menu at the top of the screen to view the items you have listed for sale and their current status.
