  • How to Get the Redacted Twitch Drops in Rainbow Six Siege by Completing and Solving

How to Get the Redacted Twitch Drops in Rainbow Six Siege by Completing and Solving

The Redacted event in Rainbow Six Siege is a game mode that takes inspiration from Metal Gear Solid. Instead of the usual bomb planting and holding sites, it revolves around hacking and extracting a data disk. Running from March 25 to April 8, this limited-time mode is a 4v4 match set on a snow-covered map, with each round divided into two phases.

In this mode, gameplay focuses more on gunfights. Things can escalate quickly if your team isn’t coordinating well. This guide explains how the mode works, how to earn event packs, and how to get Twitch Drops before the event ends. Let’s get started.

How to Play the Redacted Mode

This mode pits two teams of four players against each other. Matches are played as a best-of-three rounds, so the first team to win two rounds wins the game.

Playable attackers include Zero, Solid Snake, Iana, Ash, and Maverick. Defenders feature Smoke, Ela, Jackal, Kaid, and Kapkan.

    Hacking Phase

Each round starts with a hacking phase. Attackers need to find and interact with one of three terminals to start stealing data. While this is happening, defenders try to hold their positions and stop attackers from hacking the terminals.

Once a terminal is hacked, defenders can locate it and attempt to shut it down, which interrupts the hacking process. Both teams fight over control of the terminals, with limited time to either hack or defend. When a terminal is fully hacked, the game moves to the Extraction phase.

    Extraction Phase

In the extraction phase, attackers must grab the MO Disk and carry it to a specific extraction point. Because the disk is moving, attackers need to coordinate their push, while defenders try to intercept the carrier and eliminate them before they finish or time runs out.

How to Get Free Redacted Packs

You can earn free Redacted packs by completing weekly challenges related to the event. These include playing the mode five times and hacking terminals ten times. As you complete these challenges, you’ll unlock special event packs containing themed cosmetic items from the Redacted collection. Finishing the entire collection also grants extra rewards such as an animated skin for Jackal’s C7E Memento.

You also have the option to buy the packs using earned Renown or real money.

How to Get Redacted Twitch Drops

During the event, watching specific Rainbow Six Siege streams on Twitch can earn you exclusive cosmetics through Twitch Drops. While watching eligible streams — including official Rainbow Six channels and partner streams — you can earn the Hydroponic Vector .45 ACP weapon skin.

To participate, link your Twitch account with your Ubisoft account via the official account linking site. Once linked, any time you watch qualifying streams, your watch time counts toward earning rewards. Twitch Drops are available from March 25 at 9 a.m. PT until April 1 at 9 a.m. PT. You need to watch for at least two hours to qualify for the rewards.

After earning a Drop, remember to manually claim it from your Twitch inventory to have it appear in the game.

  • How to Get All Twitch Drops for Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Completing and Solving

How to Get All Twitch Drops for Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Completing and Solving

If you’ve played a gacha game like The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin before, you probably know that the main marketing plan is to catch your eye with attractive characters and then give you some free gacha currency through different methods, with Twitch drops being one of the most popular.

To get your free rewards from Twitch drops, you need to watch certain streams for a set amount of time, then claim your rewards in the drops menu. The process is simple, and here’s a step-by-step guide to do it on both Twitch and in the game.

    How to Get Twitch Drops

Start by watching specific streams on Twitch that are eligible for drops. You can find all the qualifying streams on the game’s directory with drops filter. When you open one of these streams, a pop-up will appear above the chat area.

This pop-up confirms you’re on the right channel. To earn your rewards, you must watch the stream for a certain length of time. Here’s what you can earn at each milestone:

    Reward Time to Watch
10x Premium Mastery EXP 15 minutes
10x Premium Refinement Stone 30 minutes
    10,000 Gold 1 hour
10x Premium Enhancement Stone 1 hour 30 minutes
Regular Hero Draw Ticket 2 hours

You can only track your progress on one channel at a time. Additionally, if you’re switching tabs or viewing in another window, keep the stream open or set its volume to at least 1% to continue earning. You can check your current drops progress on the Twitch drops menu.

How to Claim Your Twitch Drops

Once you’ve earned rewards, you need to claim them. Visit the game’s drops page and scroll down to link your accounts — your Netmarble account and your Twitch account.

The best way to do this is to first link your Google account to your game account, then use Google to log in on the drops website to find your Netmarble ID. After linking your Netmarble ID and Twitch account, your rewards will appear in the drops inventory. The rewards will then be sent directly to your in-game mail.

Note: You’ll need to progress through a little of the main story to be able to open your in-game mail and receive the rewards.

The current Twitch drops are available until April 13, 2026, at 17:00 UTC.

  • AMD CEO Hints at RDNA 4 Amid 69% Gaming Revenue Decline

AMD CEO Hints at RDNA 4 Amid 69% Gaming Revenue Decline

AMD CEO Lisa Su presenting at CES 2023.
    AMD

AMD enthusiasts have been buzzing about the expected launch of AMD’s next-generation RDNA 4 graphics cards. Recently, AMD’s CEO Lisa Su clarified many of these speculations. While earlier predictions suggested that AMD’s most advanced graphics cards would debut at the close of 2024, the company has now confirmed that the RDNA 4 series is scheduled for an early 2025 release. This news comes on the heels of a substantial decrease in AMD’s gaming revenue.

For several months, AMD has remained tight-lipped about RDNA 4, commonly referred to as the RX 8000 series. However, various leakers have provided insight regarding the anticipated release timeline for these new GPUs. At the start of 2024, there was optimism among insiders, with some suggesting the RX 8000 series could hit the market as early as summer. As time passed without an announcement, many adjusted their forecasts, predicting a launch in 2025 instead. Insights from AMD’s third-quarter earnings call have confirmed these latter predictions were indeed accurate.

During the earnings call, Su addressed the noticeable downturn in gaming graphics revenue, underscoring the preparation for the RDNA 4 architecture release. “In gaming graphics, revenue declined year-over-year as we prepare for a transition to our next-gen Radeon GPUs,” she stated, as referenced by VideoCardz. She further emphasized that the RDNA 4 series will present not only a marked improvement in gaming performance but also enhanced ray tracing capabilities and the integration of new AI features.

Su’s remarks about performance improvements spark curiosity. AMD has indicated a focus on the mainstream market for its upcoming GPUs, as discussed in a recent dialogue with Tom’s Hardware. Some leakers suspect that the new flagship may not surpass the RX 7900 XTX in terms of performance, leading to skepticism surrounding the anticipated increase. However, AMD aims to enhance the performance-to-cost ratio of its GPUs, which could be a strong selling point.

A previous earnings call revealed a staggering 48% year-over-year drop in AMD’s gaming revenue. The outlook appeared bleak, and the recent report shows that AMD’s gaming segment revenue plummeted by 69% compared to the prior year, attributing this decline primarily to a “decrease in semi-custom revenue.”

As competitors like Nvidia gear up for their RTX 50-series launch in early 2025, and with both companies poised to announce new developments at CES 2025, the GPU market is gearing up for a competitive showdown.
