How to Change Digimon Personality and Solve Its Traits in Cyber Sleuth

Taking care of your Digimon has never been more enjoyable than in the Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth games. These digital monsters range from cute to incredibly cool, and it’s easy to become attached to them after battling with them for so long.

One interesting aspect is that, similar to Pokémon, each Digimon has its own personality. While these personalities don’t influence stats when leveling up like in Pokémon, they still have mechanical effects in the game — and you can change them at will!

Updated November 4, 2025: We’ve updated this article with some advice on the best personality types to choose for your team!

    Digimon Personality Overview

In Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, there are eight unique personality types that every Digimon will have. These personalities are important for managing DigiFarms.

DigiFarms are digital storage spaces where you can interact with your Digimon by feeding them, setting training routines, or assigning tasks. Each DigiFarm has a leader Digimon. The personalities of both the DigiFarm’s leader and each Digimon impact the results of these activities.

Here’s how personalities affect DigiFarm commands:

Personality Effect Leader Effect on ‘Train’ Effect on ‘Develop’ Effect on ‘Investigate’
Durable Bonus to HP gains Boosts everyone’s HP gains — —
Lively Bonus to SP gains Boosts everyone’s SP gains — —
Fighter Bonus to Attack (ATK) Boosts everyone’s ATK — —
Defender Bonus to Defense (DEF) Boosts everyone’s DEF — —
Brainy Bonus to Intelligence (INT) Boosts everyone’s INT — —
Nimble Bonus to Speed (SPD) Boosts everyone’s SPD — —
Builder Speeds up development tasks — Reduces development time —
Searcher Speeds up investigation tasks — — Shortens search time

Knowing this, you can organize DigiFarm rosters to meet your goals. For example, having a full team of Builder Digimon for development tasks or Searcher Digimon for investigating tasks can cut their completion times to just 20 minutes each.

Note: A Digimon can gain a total of half its ABI (Ability) plus 50 stat points through training. For example, a Digimon with 16 ABI could gain up to 58 stat points. Use this info along with Restraint Chips, which reduce trained stat gains, to build your Digimon just the way you want.

How to Change a Digimon’s Personality

You can modify a Digimon’s personality using special patches. These patches are most easily obtained by purchasing them at the Eden Entrance in Chapter Two, costing 2,500¥ each. They can also drop from enemies but are more affordable when bought.

As you progress, more types of patches become available:

    • Chapter Two:

      • Development Patch (changes personality to Builder)
      • Searcher Patch (changes to Searcher)
    • Chapter Seven:

      • Durability Patch (Durable)
      • Lively Patch (Lively)
      • Fighter Patch (Fighter)
    • Chapter Twelve:

      • Defender Patch (Defender)
      • Brainy Patch (Brainy)
      • Nimble Patch (Nimble)

    Best Personalities for Your Digimon

While personalities impact how your Digimon will gain stats from DigiFarm training, their main strategic role is to decide where the +100 bonus stat points are allocated at the end of training. A fully maxed Digimon can assign these points to only one stat: Attack, Defense, HP, Speed, or Intelligence.

To optimize this, apply the appropriate personality patch (e.g., Fighter for Attack, Brainy for Intelligence, Nimble for Speed) before starting the final training phase. This ensures all +100 bonus points are dedicated to the stat that makes your Digimon most effective in its role.

Here are the most common roles and ideal personalities:

    Role Optimal Personality Why?
Physical Attacker Fighter Maximizes physical damage output
Special Attacker Brainy Maximizes magical damage output
Support Speed Ensures support moves are used earlier, vital for healers
Physical Wall Defender Boosts damage reduction, good for high-HP Digimon
Hybrid Wall Durable Maximizes HP for soaking up attacks, ideal for skills scaled on max HP

This approach allows you to tailor your Digimon’s final stats to best suit your battle strategy.

  • How To Farm Yen in Digimon Story: Time Stranger by Completing & Solving

How To Farm Yen in Digimon Story: Time Stranger by Completing & Solving

Yen is a key resource in Digimon Story: Time Stranger. It’s important to have some healing items ready, and you’ll need Yen to buy them from various shops. Yen is also used to purchase Skill Discs and Attachments, as well as to cover costs for Farm Equipment and special items like Digi-Eggs.

You can spend Yen to speed up Digimon training, which is useful if you don’t want to wait and want them to evolve faster or improve your team’s strength. Since all of these expenses add up, here are the best methods to farm Yen so you can afford everything you need.

    Best Ways to Farm Yen

If you need extra cash for top-tier Training Equipment, faster training, or special workshop items from Vulcanusmon, here are four effective strategies.

    Fighting Ultimate and Mega Digimon

Grinding against Ultimate or Mega Digimon in different areas is a solid way to earn money. Most of these high-level Digimon drop around 2,000 to 3,000 Yen per fight, and they start spawning around the middle of the game, roughly at the 8-year main mission mark.

If you haven’t reached that point, fighting Champion Digimon also works, though you’ll earn less money. For example, in the Abyss Area: Underwater, fighting Zudomon and Plesiomon can earn about 5,000 Yen per round, with late-game areas offering even more.

    Best farming spots include:

    • Early Game: Central Tower (Waspmon and Tyrannomon), Abyss Area: Abyss Depths (Coelamon), Gear Forest: Shade Tree Pier (Woodmon and Flymon), Floating Rock Islands (Deramon and Flymon)
    • Mid-Game: Abyss Depths (Plesiomon, MegaSeadramon, Zudomon), Gear Forest: Shade Tree Pier (MegaKabuterimon, Lilamon, HerculesKabuterimon), Shaded Woods (Lilamon and MegaKabuterimon)
    • Late Game: Dark Area (Sangloupmon, Crowmon, Myotismon), Chill Cosmic (Mammothmon, BlueMeramon, Vikemon), Heat Cosmic (Meteormon, RiseGreymon, Volcanomon)

Fighting these Digimon, especially in the later areas, can net you about 50,000 Yen or more per full round of fights with some of the stronger enemies awarding up to 100,000 Yen.

    Selling Gems

At the end of the game, especially in Chill Cosmic, you can find valuable gems like Diamonds and Digi-Jewels in mineral deposits. Diamonds sell for about 20,000 Yen, and Digi-Jewels fetch around 50,000 Yen each. You typically find two Diamonds per deposit or one Digi-Jewel.

While luck plays a role, these gems are fairly common. Mining the deposits in Chill Cosmic can usually yield 2-4 Diamonds per run, earning around 40,000 Yen or more. More challenging areas inside Chill Cosmic contain additional deposits, and battling enemies that drop between 800 to 2,800 Yen per fight adds to your total profit.

    Selling Skill Discs

Throughout the game, you’ll acquire hundreds of Skill Discs from Digivolving Digimon. Many of these can be sold for profit—Tier II Skill Discs sell for 800 Yen, Tier III Single Target Discs for 3,200 Yen, and Tier III AoE skills for 4,800 Yen. Rare skills like Safety Guard or Attack Break can sell for up to 5,000 Yen.

The more duplicates of skill discs you obtain, the more you can farm and sell for profit. Combining this with fighting and farming in battle makes it a highly profitable method, especially later in the game.

    Completing Side Missions

Side quests provide an easy way to gain a lot of Yen, especially in mid to late game. For example, completing early missions like “From Pegasusmon To The World” awards around 2,000 Yen, and many side missions are straightforward with minimal boss fights.

Moreover, a lot of these missions reward you with Anomaly Points, which are used to improve your Digimon’s stats, learn new Agent Skills, and raise your Agent Rank. Raising your Agent Rank helps Digimon evolve to higher forms like Champion, Ultimate, Mega, and Mega+.

Some late-game missions, like The OMNI Carnival, offer even higher earnings, with each win granting at least 10,000 Yen. The more fights you win, the larger the payout—later fights can reward 50,000 Yen or more.

    Selling Gems

Once you reach the Cosmic Terminal and Chill Cosmic, you can mine for valuable gems such as Diamonds and Digi-Jewels. These gems sell for 20,000 Yen and 50,000 Yen respectively. Mining deposits generally yield about two Diamonds or one Digi-Jewel per run, meaning you can accumulate a significant amount of Yen quickly.

While gem farming depends on luck, focusing on the mineral deposits early in Chill Cosmic often yields 2-4 Diamonds in one run, netting around 40,000 Yen in profit. Additional material deposits and battles in the region further boost your earnings, with typical battle drops adding roughly 800 to 2,800 Yen each.

    Selling Skill Discs

Many Skill Discs can be sold for profit—common Tier II discs rate at 800 Yen, high-tier Tier III single-target discs at 3,200 Yen, and AoE discs at 4,800 Yen. Rare skills like Safety Guard go for as much as 5,000 Yen. Farming duplicates by battling and digging through various Digimon enables you to build a large stock, which can be sold at a profit once you have collected enough.

    Select Digimon for Easy Farm

Choose opponents you can defeat easily and that have a simple Digivolution path to Mega forms, which requires minimal effort. Focusing on Digimon with favorable personality traits can also reduce the effort needed. Raising the right Digimon to at least level 2 before Digivolving ensures you get the best skills and the most profit from their discs.

To maximize profits, farm Digimon like Meramon into SkullMeramon and Boltmon, or Floramon into Vegiemon, then into Garbagemon or JumboGamemon, which provide valuable skills for sale. Use excess Digimon and their skills to rapidly level and improve your main team.

Selling duplicates of Skill Discs—especially the high-value ones—makes a significant profit, and the method remains effective at any stage of the game, especially in the late game.

  • How to Complete Beelzemon and Solve in Digimon Story: Time Stranger

How to Complete Beelzemon and Solve in Digimon Story: Time Stranger

While Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger come in all sorts of amazing shapes and sizes—ranging from dinosaurs to fiery birds—they are just as intelligent as humans. They have their own thoughts and feelings and experience many of the same things, including love.

Just like some people struggle to find love or need examples to understand what to do, some Digimon have similar worries. Minervamon is trying to figure out love, specifically love between Digimon. While romantic movies gave her some ideas, she hopes another Digimon can offer fresh insight.

How to Bring Beelzemon to Minervamon

Premonitions of Love is the second part of Minervamon’s side quest series, which begins after finishing the first side quest, What Is Love?. Both What Is Love? and other side missions become accessible once you start the main story mission, The Final Battle Over The Natural Order, and gain the ability to time-travel.

In the present day, head to Rebellion Village and talk to Minervamon near the entrance to Merukimon’s old room for instructions. She’ll ask you to bring her a Digimon that rides a motorcycle and give some hints about which Digimon it might be. Talking to the nearby Tanemon, who wants a Card Battle, will reveal the name: Beelzemon.

If you don’t already have a Beelzemon, there are several ways to get one. The simplest method is to evolve from DemiDevimon to Sangloupmon, then to Astamon, and finally to Beelzemon, since this requires minimal personality changes. Other routes include:

Evolution Stage Possible Digimon Key Points
    In-Training I Poyomon
    In-Training II Tokomon
    Rookie Coronamon, Pabumon, Punimon
Champion Birdramon, Wendigomon, Lopmon Involves multiple evolutions, with opportunities at DemiDevimon and Gazimon
Ultimate SkulllMeramon, Sangloupmon, Devimon Remember to raise specific stats to evolve towards Beelzemon
Mega Beelzemon Final form, do your best to meet the requirements

One effective route is to travel to the Dark Field and battle Sangloupmon there to obtain their DNA, bypassing the need for DemiDevimon. This method lets you quickly gather enough Conversion DNA—up to 200%—which is useful if you plan to battle with Beelzemon or want additional benefits.

For the easiest approach, ensure DemiDevimon has an attack-boosting personality, such as Reckless, to reach Sangloupmon more easily. After that, raise Sangloupmon’s Intelligence and Spirit stats to evolve into Astamon, using training sets that allow stat gains without changing personalities.

Once you’ve obtained Beelzemon, bring them to Minervamon in Rebellion Village while they are in your main party. Talk to her to trigger a cutscene. Then, speak again with Minervamon on the other side of the village, near the doorway to the In-Between Theater, to complete the quest. As a reward, you’ll earn 100 Anomaly Points and two Friendship DX medals, which boost a Digimon’s Bond by five percent each.

  • How to Complete Digivolution Into Ophanimon in Digimon Story Time Stranger

How to Complete Digivolution Into Ophanimon in Digimon Story Time Stranger

Ophanimon is a Mega Vaccine Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger, representing the highest form of the feminine Angel Digimon. Along with Seraphimon and Cherubimon, Ophanimon is one of the Three Celestial Digimon that govern the celestial core of the Digital World.

If you’re aiming to add this powerful Digimon to your team, this guide will walk you through all the evolution paths to get Ophanimon. We’ll also share some tips on the best way to develop its stats.

    ### How to Obtain Ophanimon

There are two ultimate-level Digimon that can evolve into Ophanimon:

    – Angewomon
    – Piximon

To evolve into Ophanimon, your chosen Digimon must have at least 2,450 Intelligence (INT) and 2,010 Spirit (SPI), and your Digimon needs to be at least Agent Rank 7. You can increase these stats by leveling up your Digimon or training them at the Digifarm.

To reach Angewomon or Piximon, you have several options. You can follow different evolution lines until you get a Digimon you own, then trace your way back through the tree to arrive at Ophanimon.

    #### Evolution Paths to Ophanimon

The paths are grouped by generation levels and are summarized below. For example:

    – To get Angewomon:
    – From Reppamon, which evolves from Kudamon or Nyaromon.
    – From Gatomon, which evolves from Chuumon, Salamon, SnowGoblimon, Huckmon, Lunamon, Gomamon, or Terriermon.
    – From Witchmon, which evolves from Impmon or Shamamon.

    – To get Piximon:
    – From Shellmon, evolving from Kamemon, Crabmon, or Syakomon.
    – From Mojyamon, evolving from Bearmon, Gomamon, Palmon, or Poyomon.
    – From Sorcermon, evolving from Lunamon, Kamemon, or Kudamon.

The key point is that Ophanimon needs high INT and SPI stats. The most straightforward route is to evolve from Angewomon, which itself is best obtained from a Witchmon, due to its higher base stats in INT and SPI compared to Piximon.

    ### Maximizing Your Chances

Since Ophanimon requires strong base stats, focus on evolving from Angewomon, especially when you have the option to obtain it from a Witchmon with the highest initial INT and SPI. Use training sessions frequently to boost your Digimon’s stats, and once you unlock Mega-level Digimon, gathering the necessary Yen to skip some training becomes easier, helping you reach your goal faster.

  • How to Complete Digivolution into Durandamon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger

How to Complete Digivolution into Durandamon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger

Durandamon is a Mega Vaccine Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger. It is described as the ultimate sword, capable of slicing through any defense with a single swipe. While this might be an exaggeration in the game, Durandamon is still a very powerful Digimon worth investing in.

If you want to add Durandamon to your team, this guide will explain all the evolution paths to reach it and recommend the best one for strong stat growth.

    How To Find Durandamon

Durandamon evolves from three different Ultimate Digimon. Due to the many possible paths to reach Mega level, start with one of these three Digimon and trace backwards through the evolution tree until you find a Digimon you already have. Then, work your way forward again to reach Durandamon.

To evolve into Durandamon, your Digimon must have at least 2380 HP, 1580 ATK, and 1740 DEF. You also need to be at Agent Rank 7.

The Digimon you can evolve from are:

    • Grademon
    • OmniShoutmon
    • Duramon

You can obtain these by following specific evolution paths, which are summarized below.

    Evolution paths to Durandamon

Durandamon can develop from several Digimon through a series of evolutions. Here are some of the primary routes:

    • Grademon Path:

      • Raptordramon → Agumon → Koromon → Botamon

      • Dorumon → Dorimon → Dodomon

      • Monodramon → Dorimon → Dodomon

      • Musyamon → Kotemon → Koromon → Botamon

      • Shamamon → Tsumemon → Kuramon

      • Zubamon → Tsunomon → Punimon

      • Cyclonemon → Monodramon → Dorimon → Dodomon

      • Gizamon → Bukamon → Poyomon

      • Dinohyumon → Kamemon → Bukamon → Poyomon

      • Hyokomon → Yokomon → Pabumon

      • ZubaEagermon → Gizamon → Bukamon → Poyomon

      • Shoutmon → Koromon → Botamon

    • OmniShoutmon Path:

      • Shoutmon (Self-evolving; no prior requirements) → Koromon → Botamon
    • Duramon Path:

      • Buraimon → Hyokomon → Yokomon → Pabumon

      • Penmon → Yokomon → Pabumon

      • Zubamon → Tsunomon → Punimon

      • ZubaEagermon → Gizamon → Bukamon → Poyomon

      • Shoutmon → Koromon → Botamon

      • Guardromon (Gold) → Shoutmon/Koromon/Botamon

In particular, the recommended evolution route for the best stats involves starting with Zubamon, then proceeding to ZubaEagermon, then to Dramon, and finally reaching Durandamon. This lineage provides the highest base ATK and DEF for Durandamon.

    Key Tip

All Digimon along this preferred evolution line share a base Personality of Zealous. This allows you to utilize a special Agent Skill that reduces Digivolution requirements when Personalities match, making the evolution process smoother and more efficient.

  • How to DNA Digivolve and Solve Mastemon in Digimon Story: Stranger

How to DNA Digivolve and Solve Mastemon in Digimon Story: Stranger

Mastemon is a Mega Vaccine Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger and is one of the few Digimon that can develop through DNA Digivolution. It combines both dark and light elements, utilizing Dark and Holy magic to defeat enemies.

Getting Mastemon on your team requires some extra effort compared to other Mega-level Digimon. First, you need to obtain an Angewomon and a LadyDevimon, as this is necessary for DNA Digivolution. Instead of stat requirements, the main concern is the Personalities of these Digimon. You must be at least Agent Rank 7 before performing the DNA Digivolution. Angewomon needs to have a Tolerant personality, and LadyDevimon must be Enlightened.

Fortunately, these are their base Personalities. However, depending on their original Digimon, their current Personalities might differ. Here’s how to acquire both Digimon and adjust their Personalities:

    ### How to Get Angewomon
To get a Tolerant Angewomon, start by using SP Training Sets to move the Personality all the way to the left side of the Personality board. If your Digimon’s Personality is at Adoring, use an INT Training Set to decrease it. If it’s at Astute or Enlightened, use an SPI Training Set to increase it to Tolerant.

Angewomon can be evolved from various Rookie Digimon, such as Kudamon, Nyaromon, Punimon, Ryudamon, Tsunomon, and others, depending on their original generations. The exact evolution tree varies between different evolutions, but for Tolerant Angewomon, focus on adjusting Personality first.

    ### How to Get LadyDevimon
Similarly, to get a Tolerant LadyDevimon, start with SP Training Sets to shift the Personality all the way to the left. Then, if the Personality is at Adoring or Tolerant, use an SPI Training Set to move up the personality scale to Enlightened, or an INT Training Set to move down from other personalities like Astute.

LadyDevimon evolves from Digimon such as BlackGatomon, Gazimon, Gabumon (Black), Devimon, DemiDevimon, Betamon, Agumon (Black), Witchmon, Shamamon, IceDevimon, and others. As with Angewomon, adjusting the Personality is key, and the method involves carefully using Training Sets to reach the desired Personality.

    ### Summary
To successfully perform the DNA Digivolution into Mastemon, gather both Angewomon and LadyDevimon with the Tolerant and Enlightened Personalities, respectively. Use Training Sets to shift their Personalities to the right values, and ensure your overall game progress has you at least at Agent Rank 7. Once the requirements are met, you can combine them for the DNA Digivolution to Mastemon.

  • How to Digivolve Into Dianamon in Digimon Story: Solving Stranger

How to Digivolve Into Dianamon in Digimon Story: Solving Stranger

Dianamon is a Mega Data Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger and is part of the Olympos XII overseeing The Digital World: Iliad. When you encounter her later in the game, she rules the Chill side of the Cosmic Area and appears to be in conflict with Apollomon, who manages the opposite side.

If you’re aiming to add this strong Digimon to your team, here’s what you need to know. We’ll walk through all the different evolution options to get Dianamon and suggest the best path for optimal stats growth.

    How to Obtain Dianamon

Dianamon evolves from either Crescemon or Antylamon. To Digivolve into these, your Champion-level Digimon must have at least 1,670 Defense and 2,100 Intelligence, and you need to have achieved at least Agent Rank 7. Keep in mind, these requirements are before applying any Agent Skills that might lower the needed stats for the base Digimon, depending on personality compatibility.

Below are the evolution paths to reach Crescemon or Antylamon.

    Evolution Paths to Crescemon

Crescemon can come from several rookie and champion Digimon, such as:

    • Lekismon (Ultimate)
      • From Lunamon, Renamon, Terriermon, or Frigimon
    • Antylamon (Ultimate)
      • From Wendigomon, Lopmon, Turuiemon, MudFrigimon, or others

The detailed chains involve various first-stage and second-stage Digimon with high base Intelligence, which boosts your chances of successfully evolving into Crescemon.

    Path to Antylamon

Antylamon is obtainable through several routes, most notably from:

    • Wendigomon
      • From Goblimon, Keramon, Lopmon, or Turuiemon
    • Lopmon
      • From Lalamon, Lopmon itself, or other related Digimon
    • Turuiemon
      • From Goamon, Tanemon, Kotemon, Lopmon, or MudFrigimon

The recommended route is to start with a Lunamon or similar rookie with high Intelligence, evolve into Lekismon, then Crescemon, and finally into Dianamon.

    Path to Dianamon

The story-relevant path flows from Lunamon to Lekismon, then to Crescemon, and ultimately to Dianamon. Each evolution in this chain tends to have high base Intelligence, which helps carry over enough stats to make the final Digivolution easier.

    Personality and Evolution

Dianamon’s default Personality is Enlivened. Matching Crescemon’s Personality during evolution can reduce the total statistics needed for the Digivolution process. You can quickly adjust Personality traits using the Digifarm to match this, making your chances of success higher and reducing the grind.

    Visual Reference

Dianamon’s stats and visual details can be seen in the images linked here. Her fierce appearance and high stats make her a valuable addition to your team, especially if you follow the recommended evolution paths and optimize for high Intelligence and Defense.

  • How to Get Gankoomon in Digimon Story: Solving Time Stranger

How to Get Gankoomon in Digimon Story: Solving Time Stranger

Gankoomon is a Mega Data Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger and one of the Holy Knights. It travels through the Digital World with its trainee Huckmon and the spirit energy of Hinakamuy. Gankoomon works to resolve conflicts wherever possible and trains Huckmon to become its successor.

In gameplay, Gankoomon has high health points (HP) and attack power (ATK), making it a tough offensive fighter. If you want to add Gankoomon to your team, here’s what you need to know. Below, we’ll explain all the possible evolution paths to get Gankoomon and recommend the best one.

    How to Get Gankoomon

Gankoomon can evolve from two different Ultimate-level Digimon.

To Digivolve into Gankoomon, your Volcanomon or SaviorHuckmon must have at least 1,860 Defense (DEF) and 1,720 Spirit (SPI). Additionally, your Digimon needs to reach at least Agent Rank 7.

Here are all the possible evolution paths for Volcanomon and SaviorHuckmon:

    Generation Champion Rookie In-Training II In-Training I
Volcanomon Golemon (Ultimate) Goblimon, Tsunomon, Punimon Gotsumon, Motimon, Pabumon Armadillomon, Tokomon, Poyomon
Starmon Dracmon, Tsumemon, Kuramon Gotsumon, Motimon, Pabumon Solarmon, Kapurimon, Choromon
Nanimon Gaomon, Wanyamon, Dodomon Mushroomon, Tanemon, Pabumon Fugamon, Shamamon, Tsumemon, Kuramon, Gabumon (Black)
SaviorHuckmon Strikedramon (Ultimate) Gaomon, Wanyamon, Dodomon Monodramon, Dorimon, Tsumemon Agumon (Black), Tsumemon, Kuramon
Gaogamon Gaomon, Wanyamon, Dodomon Bearmon, Wanyamon, Dodomon Gazimon, Pagumon, Kuramon
BaoHuckmon Coronamon, Tokomon, Poyomon Gazimon, Pagumon, Kuramon Huckmon, Nyaromon, Punimon
Firamon Coronamon, Tokomon, Poyomon Hawkmon, Yokomon, Pabumon (No further info provided)

Among these options, the recommended path to Gankoomon is through SaviorHuckmon, thanks to its higher overall stats. The route from Huckmon to BaoHuckmon, then SaviorHuckmon, and finally Gankoomon, aligns well with the lore and tends to be more effective.

Gankoomon’s default Personality is Zealous. Matching your Digimon’s personality with Zealous, and unlocking the corresponding Agent Skill, can reduce the stats needed for Digivolution, giving you more flexibility with evolution options.

  • How to Digivolve into Plutomon in Digimon Story: Solving the Stranger

How to Digivolve into Plutomon in Digimon Story: Solving the Stranger

Plutomon is a Mega Virus Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger and is part of the Olympos XII group. It controls the Dark Field and leads the Titans of the Digital World. In gameplay, Plutomon is a versatile attacker that can deal both magic and physical damage.

If you want to add Plutomon to your Digimon team, this guide will show you all the possible evolution paths and the stats you need to develop to achieve it.

    How to Get Plutomon

Plutomon can evolve from the following Digimon:

    • Cerberusmon
    • Cerberusmon WM (a form change of Cerberusmon)
    • Astamon

Since Cerberusmon WM is a variation of Cerberusmon, they are considered the same in the evolution tree.

To evolve into Plutomon, your Digimon needs:

    • At least 2,460 HP
    • At least 2,500 Attack
    • At least 1,700 Intelligence

Plutomon’s base personality is Daring. If your Cerberusmon or Astamon already has the Daring personality and you’ve unlocked the corresponding Agent Skill, you’ll need lower base stats to Digivolve successfully.

Evolution Paths for Cerberusmon and Astamon

You can follow these paths to reach Cerberusmon or Astamon:

Generation Ultimate Champion Rookie In-Training II In-Training I
    Cerberusmon
    Dobermon
    Salamon
    Nyaromon
    Punimon
    Gazion
    Pagumon
    Kuramon
    Gabumon (Black)
    Tsumemon
    Ryudamon
    SnowGoblimon
    Dorimon
    Dodomon
    Gotsumon
    Motimon
    Pabumon
    Gabumon
    Tsunomon
    Punimon

(Note: The above table repeats for AstraMon and Cerberusmon, with similar evolution chains. The key takeaway is that both Cerberusmon and Astamon can evolve into Plutomon once they meet the skill and stat requirements.)

Astamon is generally easier to find because you can encounter Sangloupmon wandering the Dark Fields after defeating ZombiePlutomon, allowing you to quickly gather one and start training.

    Tips for Training

Since reaching Plutomon’s required stats involves a lot of training, it’s recommended to spend some in the Digifarm. If you have extra Yen, you can pay 10,000 to speed up training times across all levels, making the process quicker.

  • How to Complete Cyclonemon and Solve Challenges in Digimon Story: Time Stranger

How to Complete Cyclonemon and Solve Challenges in Digimon Story: Time Stranger

Cyclonemon is a boss Digimon you’ll encounter during the Resonating Thoughts mission in Digimon Story: Time Stranger. During this fight, you’re trying to protect Elecmon, which Inori seems to be connected with, but suddenly Titan Cyclonemon ambushes you.

While Cyclonemon isn’t the most vital Digimon in the game, this battle marks a key moment in the story. If you need tips or suggestions for your team, this guide covers everything about facing Cyclonemon.

    ### Cyclonemon’s Strengths, Weaknesses, and Attacks

Cyclonemon is a Virus-type Digimon. This makes it weak to Vaccine-type Digimon but resistant to Data-type attacks. It’s vulnerable to Wind and Ice attacks but resists Fire and Earth. Other elemental attacks do normal damage.

Its main moves include Bunmawashi, which hits one target physically, and Awesome Quake I, dealing Earth damage to all your team members. A few turns into the fight, Cyclonemon uses Hyper Heat on Elecmon, knocking it out and triggering a cutscene.

Once Elecmon Digivolves into Aegiomon, Hyper Heat switches to Fire damage on a single target and reduces their Fire Resistance. Cyclonemon then gains Double Actions (allowing it to attack twice per turn) and adds Acceleration Boost, which raises its physical attack.

    > These two buffs are dangerous. Acceleration Boost makes Bunmawashi much stronger, and Double Actions means Cyclonemon can buff itself and attack again before you get a chance to defend or heal.

Fortunately, Aegiomon accompanies you with Attract Echo and Wind Claw I. Attract Echo draws all attacks onto Aegiomon and boosts its evasion, letting it soak up some hits for your team. Wind Claw is especially effective since Cyclonemon is weak to Wind, and with Aegiomon’s Vaccine attribute, Wind Claw hits for triple damage.

    ### Recommended Digimon To Use

For this fight, it’s best to bring at least two or three Vaccine-type Digimon. Your team should ideally be around level 7 for the best chance of success, but lower levels can work if you have good Attachment Skills and elemental strengths. For example, Agumon, a Vaccine Digimon resistant to Earth damage, can perform well even at lower levels.

Other strong options include Gomamon, which learns Icicle Edge I at level 2, and Tapirmon, which gets Heal at level 2. Both are Vaccine types too, so they deal extra damage to Cyclonemon.

If you bring Agumon, Gomamon, and Tapirmon along with the evolved Aegiomon, the fight becomes more manageable. This battle highlights Aegiomon’s abilities, so take advantage of your Cross Arts attacks whenever possible, and you’ll bring Cyclonemon down quickly.

  • How to Complete Digivolution into Ceresmon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger

How to Complete Digivolution into Ceresmon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger

Ceresmon is a Mega Data Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger, and one of the Olympos XII that oversee Iliad. This large bird doesn’t show up until later in the story, but you can add it to your team earlier if you complete all the side quests.

If you’re aiming to get Ceresmon and its Form-Changed version, here’s what you need to know. Below is a list of all possible evolution paths to Digivolve into Ceresmon, along with our recommended route.

    How To Get Ceresmon

Ceresmon evolves from three different Digimon listed below.

To digivolve into any of these, your chosen Digimon must have at least 2,470 HP and 2,190 SP before factoring in any bonuses from Agent Skills. Also, you need to reach Agent Rank 7 to unlock Mega-Generation Digivolutions.

Follow the evolution trees below to turn these Digimon into Ceresmon.

Generation Ultimate Champion Rookie In-Training II In-Training I
    Sirenmon
    Angemon Kudamon Nyaromon Punimon
    Patamon Tokomon Poyomon
    Gekomon
    Chuumon Motimon Pabumon Elecmon Tsunomon
    Otamamon Pagumon Kuramon
    Kiwimon
    Floramon Tanemon Pabumon Penmon Yokomon
    Falcomon Yokomon Pabumon
    Lillymon
    Sunflowmon Lalamon Tanemon Pabumon
    Tentomon Motimon Pabumon
    Renamon Wanyamon Dodomon
    Floramon Tanemon Pabumon
    Togemon
    Palmon Tanemon Pabumon
    Floramon Tanemon Pabumon
    Witchmon
    Impmon Pagumon Kuramon Shamamon Tsumemon
    Deramon
    Sunflowmon Lalamon Tanemon Pabumon
    Tentomon Motimon Pabumon
    Renamon Wanyamon Dodomon
    Floramon Tanemon Pabumon
    Kiwimon Floramon Tanemon Pabumon
    Penmon Yokomon Pabumon
    Falcomon Yokomon Pabumon
    MudFrigimon Lalamon Tanemon Pabumon
    Gotsumon Motimon Pabumon
    Lopmon Dorimon Dodomon

Among these options, we recommend selecting Lillymon because she has high base HP and Defense, which are essential for evolving into Ceresmon. If your stats are low, don’t hesitate to put your Digimon in training or farm to train them up. You can also skip training timers using Yen, which is easier to acquire later in the game.

    Additional Note

Ceresmon can dynamically change into Ceresmon Medium at any time through the Digivolution menu, and you can switch back to normal Ceresmon the same way.

  • How to Digivolve into Alphamon in Digimon Story: Solving Stranger

How to Digivolve into Alphamon in Digimon Story: Solving Stranger

Alphamon is a Mega-level Digimon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger and is one of the 13 Royal Knights. It has appeared frequently across various Digimon media, including TV shows, manga, and video games. The game’s stunning visuals highlight Alphamon’s blue cape and its regal appearance more than ever.

If you’re wondering how to unlock Alphamon in Time Stranger, you’re in the right place. Since Alphamon is a Mega-level Digimon, you won’t be able to obtain it until later in the game. When you do, its strength is unmatched. Below, we’ll explain all the possible ways to evolve your Digimon into Alphamon.

    How To Get Alphamon

To evolve into Alphamon, your Digimon needs at least 2,200 HP, 1,580 Defense, and 1,580 Spirit. You also need to be at least Agent Rank 7 to access Mega-level Digivolutions. The two Digimon that can evolve into Alphamon are outlined below.

To reach these Digimon, follow the evolution trees from the starting In-Training level, working backward through each previous evolution stage.

Here’s a look at the evolution paths:

Generation Ultimate Champion Rookie In-Training II In-Training I
    Grademon Raptordramon Agumon Koromon Botamon
    Dorumon Dorimon Dodomon
    Monodramon Dorimon Dodomon
    Musyamon Kotemon Koromon Botamon
    Shamamon Tsumemon Kuramon

Cyclonemon Monodramon Dorimon Dodomon Gizamon Bukamon
    Poyomon Poyomon Poyomon
    Kamemon Bukamon Poyomon
Dinohyumon Kotemon Koromon Botamon Hyokomon Pabumon
    Yokomon Poyomon Poyomon
    Hyokomon Yomomon Pabumon
ZubaEagermon Gizamon Bukamon Poyomon Shoutmon Punimon
    Shoutmon Koromon Botamon
    Zubamon Tsunomon Punimon
    DoruGreymon Kudamon Nyaromon Punimon Reppamon
    Ryudamon Tsunomon Punimon
    Renamon Wanyamon Dodomon
    Growlmon Guilmon Koromon Botamon
    Coronoamon Tokomon Poyomon
    Huckmon Nyaromon Punimon
Dorugamon Dorumon Dorimon Dodomon Gazimon Pagumon
    Gabumon (Black) Tsumemon Kuramon

Based on the pathways, choosing the evolution to DoruGreymon is generally the better route, since it has higher Defense and Spirit stats than Grademon. However, by this stage of the game, your Digimon might have accumulated significant stats, so pick the route that suits your current Digimon best.

Additionally, make use of Agent Skills that lower Digivolution costs, especially when your Digimon’s Personality matches the target. You can change a Digimon’s Personality quickly in the Digifarm using specific items, making it easier to activate these skills and reduce costs.

  • How to Defeat Parrotmon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger Through Completing and Solving

How to Defeat Parrotmon in Digimon Story: Time Stranger Through Completing and Solving

The difficulty level in Digimon Story: Time Stranger can vary greatly depending on how much you utilize its different game systems. Some boss battles, especially those within the same area as regular enemies, can suddenly become much harder. These fights might require you to change your strategy entirely or bring specialized teams for specific encounters.

One of the first tougher bosses you’ll encounter is Parrotmon. Below, you’ll find detailed advice on how to defeat this boss, including tips to stop it from healing with lightning strikes and suggestions for which Digimon to use.

    ### Parrotmon’s Strengths, Weaknesses, and Attacks

Parrotmon is a Vaccine-type Digimon. It is weak against Data and strong against Virus types. It takes extra damage from Fire and Earth attacks, resists Wind, and is completely resistant to Electricity. Attacks of other elements usually deal normal damage.

When the fight begins, Parrotmon will use Gale Storm II, which deals wind damage to your team. During the battle, it will often use Thunder Charge to heal itself and Lightning Strike, which heals it a bit each time it’s used. To prevent this healing, bring a Digimon with a metal body—such as Hagurumon, Guardromon, Clockmon, or Blimpmon. If one of these is on the field, lightning will target them instead, stopping Parrotmon from healing.

    ### How to Fight Parrotmon’s Ultimate Attack

After several turns, Parrotmon will start charging its powerful attack, Mjolnir Thunder, and will expose the Crest on its head. Hitting this Crest will break its charge and stop the attack from happening. The Crest has different elemental weaknesses than Parrotmon’s body—it is weak to Water, Ice, Holy, and Null elements, but resistant to Fire and Ground. Electricity will do little to no damage. Using a move like Cross Art: Strike can help break the Crest more easily.

If you fail to stop the attack in time, be ready to heal and defend, as Mjolnir Thunder will cause high damage to all your Pokémon and might even paralyze them.

During the later stages, Parrotmon will use Shock Plasma I, damaging one target with electricity multiple times, and Thunder Fall II, which hits all targets with electricity. It may also boost its defenses with Harden from time to time.

When about 40% of its health remains, Merukimon will join the fight. Merukimon’s Thousand Fists attack can do a lot of damage and can make the battle much easier if you can hold out until then.

    ### Recommended Digimon for the Fight

Since Parrotmon is a Vaccine Digimon, the best strategy is to use a team of six Data Digimon. For simplicity, focus on bringing as many Data Digimon with Fire and Earth attacks as possible.

Good attacker options include Shoutmon with Rock Soul and BaoHuckmon with Wolkenapalm. For support, Kiwimon can be useful if equipped with skills like Revive, Aura, and Meditator.

It’s also very important to include a metal-bodied Digimon to draw Lightning Strikes away from Parrotmon. Clockmon and Blimpmon are solid choices because they are Data types.

Throughout the fight, Aegiomon’s Heal ability is valuable for keeping your team healthy. His electric attacks won’t help much in this fight, so it’s best to use him primarily as the dedicated healer. Minervamon will join you too, but since she is a Virus type, her attacks won’t be very effective initially.

However, you can cast Character Reversal on Minervamon, turning her into a Data Digimon, which enables her to deal more damage to Parrotmon. When Parrotmon begins charging Mjolnir Thunder, using her special skill, Strike Roll, can help break the gauge more easily. Remember to recast Character Reversal periodically to keep Minervamon as a Data type during the battle.
