  • 9 Essential Love Tips for Newbies in Deep Space

Love and Deepspace can feel overwhelming if you’re just starting out. With various game modes and multiple currencies and leveling systems, it might be hard to figure out where to begin. If you’re having trouble deciding how to focus your efforts, you’ve come to the right place.

After dedicating hours to the game, we’ve put together nine essential tips for newcomers to Love and Deepspace. Many of these strategies will serve you well as you progress further in the game. Here’s a rundown of the most helpful beginner tips for getting started in Love and Deepspace.

Always Use Resources Before They Expire

Love and Deepspace: Energy Capsules with expiration timer

You might have noticed that some resources you earn aren’t permanent. Items like Energy Capsules and currencies from events will expire. Although it might be tempting to save them for a later date, you should utilize these resources immediately.

Particularly, Energy Capsules should be used right when you receive them, as they refill your stamina. Using these capsules ensures you always have enough stamina available for gameplay.

Stamina itself won’t expire, and you can accumulate more than your current Hunter Level allows. For example, you could hold a surplus of stamina like 370/160 Stamina. There’s essentially no cap to how much stamina you can stockpile.

For the best results, redeem your Energy Capsules when your Stamina bar is full. If you redeem them during replenishment, you’ll miss out on free stamina gained during that period.

    Utilize Auto-Combat

Love and Deepspace: Player and Sylus battling in auto combat

If you’re new to the game, grasping the basics of combat can be tricky. Many players are more interested in the character stories and events than the combat itself.

If that’s the case for you, consider using the Auto Combat toggle during battles. This feature allows your character and companion to fight automatically, which is great if you want to be hands-off.

Keep in mind that Auto Combat isn’t infallible—you may still sustain injuries or get defeated.

The key to successful Auto Combat lies in leveling up your Memories before entering battles. Each encounter has a recommended Memory Level cap, so aim to enhance your Memories beyond that cap.

    Automatically Equip Memories and Protocores

    Love and Deepspace: Protocore menu

Just like with Auto Combat, you can also auto-equip Memories and Protocores for your team. This feature helps you learn which Memories are best suited for various battles, and identify which have the highest overall power levels.

Auto-equip also applies to Protocores. With numerous Protocore types available, knowing which fits which character can be overwhelming. The auto-equip option eases that burden and helps you streamline your strategy as you become more familiar with the game.

Save Your Diamonds for Special Event Pools

Love and Deepspace: Sylus's Radiant Brilliance memory

This suggestion is especially for beginners who want to enhance their combat prowess. Some Wish Pools stand out above the rest; knowing which ones to prioritize can lead to powerful Memories for your team.

Look for pools with four characters or ones that showcase a Memory with a rare Stellactrum type.

Stellactrums don’t have rarity levels, but each character specializes in a specific type. For example, Xavier has a higher number of Amber and Emerald Stellactrum Memories compared to Ruby teachings.

When you face Deepspace Trials or Hunter Contest challenges, having strong Memories that match the required Stellactrum colors is imperative. If you need more Violet Stellactrum for a team featuring Sylus, focus on pools where the Memory showcased is a Violet Stellactrum memory related to Sylus. Pulling multiple copies leads to even stronger boosts for your team.

Bear in mind that obtaining five-star Memories can be expensive. To maximize your efforts, save resources for four-character pools. These pools often include one limited edition five-star Memory per character and frequently feature a Pity Pull system.

    Log In Daily for Rewards

Love and Deepspace: Seasonal Promise featuring Rafayel's Tipsy Memory

We understand it can be a hassle to log in daily and tackle every task in a game, especially when it feels tedious. Still, in Love and Deepspace, you can earn rewards just for logging in without doing anything extra.

Be sure to log in every day to collect your Check-In rewards and the Daily Free Pack from the Shop. These often provide opportunities to earn Diamonds and, occasionally, even Empyrean Wishes.

    Complete Daily and Weekly Tasks

Love and Deepspace: Weekly task page with completed tasks

If you have some time to spare and can engage in a few combat rounds, make it a goal to complete your Daily Tasks each day.

By finishing all Daily Tasks in the Agenda tab, you can earn 100 Diamonds per day. Additionally, you’ll make progress toward completing the Weekly Task, which rewards an Empyrean Wish.

Both Daily and Weekly Tasks provide Hunter Experience as well, helping you elevate your Hunter Level quickly. The resources and currencies obtained through these tasks are definitely worth the extra effort each day.

Additionally, the Promise Points earned from these tasks contribute towards Promise levels within the Seasonal Promise Events.

Build a Team for Each Character

With numerous romanceable characters in the game, the potential combinations for building combat teams can be quite extensive. It might get tricky to sort out which characters work best in battle.

An effective strategy is to develop a specific team for each character instead of relying on just one character and ignoring the rest. Focusing solely on a single character can limit your capabilities.

As you build your teams, it could be beneficial to assign each character a specific type of Stellactrum. For instance, Sylus’s team might focus on Pearl and Emerald Stellactrum, while Xavier’s team might consist mostly of Emerald and Amber Stellactrum.

This classification strategy enables you to match the Protofield Stellactrum at the beginning of battles easily.

Successfully matching a Protofield’s Stellactrum allows you to break two layers of Protocore shields instead of just one when activating your Resonance Ability.

Each character specializes in one type of Stellactrum more than others. The following table outlines which characters specialize in which types:

    Character Stellactrum
    Xavier
    Zayne
    Rafayel
    Sylus

    Focus on Upgrading Rarer Memories

Love And Deepspace: Rafayel's 5-star Memory, Deep Sea Riches

With countless Memories available in the Wish Pools, it’s crucial to remember that not all Memories are equal.

Memories rank from three-star (R), four-star (SR), to five-star (SSR). The highest ranking is the SSR or five-star Memory, which is also the strongest in terms of gameplay.

Additionally, five-star Memories are Kindled, meaning they unlock a unique playable story in the Date tab!

When building your combat teams, prioritize higher-star Memories over lesser ones. As you collect rarer Memories, focus on leveling and enhancing them before focusing on lower-ranked Memories.

    Always Utilize Protocores

Love And Deepspace: Core Hunt menu

As a beginner, the various combat boosts from Protocores can be quite confusing. The game presents multiple mechanics from the get-go.

Even if you find Protocores tricky, it’s still important to collect and equip them. If you’re unsure about which Protocores to pair with a Memory, try using the auto-equip option. You can even utilize auto filters in the Protocore section to select the most effective Protocores for maximizing Memory levels.

Protocores can be gained by engaging in Core Hunts found in the Battle tab.

For a more advanced strategy, look to use Protocores that synergize with your Memory’s special skill.

    Add Friends

Love And Deepspace: Sylus in Destiny Cafe

Even if you’re a bit shy about doing so, try adding friends through your profile. Interaction isn’t mandatory.

Having friends in the game allows you to send and receive Stamina daily, a valuable resource for completing battles, which can deplete quickly.

For this reason, continually adding and accepting friends is a good strategy to ensure a consistent daily supply of Stamina.

  • Every Wish Pool Reward for Heartstring Notes in Love & Deepspace

Every Wish Pool Reward for Heartstring Notes in Love & Deepspace

Running alongside the Cuteness Crush event from Love And Deepspace is Zayne’s special Heartstring Notes Wish Pool event. During this time, you will have an increased chance of earning Zayne’s exclusive five-star memory, Zayne: Heartstring Notes.

Once the event concludes, it’s unlikely that this memory will be available again in the permanent Wish Pool (Xspace Echo), so it’s a great idea to take the opportunity to earn it while you can. The Heartstring Notes pool also includes a variety of pull rewards that offer unique items like accessories, poses, and limited Deepspace Wishes. The more you engage with the pool, the better the rewards you’ll receive.

The event will run from 5:00 AM on October 31 to 4:59 AM on November 10, 2024. After the event ends, you won’t be able to pull for Zayne: Heartstring Notes or receive any of the special rewards from this limited-time pool.

    Event Memory

As with other Wish Pool events, the Heartstring Notes theme is named after its featured memory: Zayne: Heartstring Notes. During this event, you have a better chance of drawing this memory compared to five-star memories from the permanent collection.

Though there’s no Pity Pull system during the event, you will receive a guaranteed five-star memory after approximately 63 pulls. While there’s no assurance that this five-star memory will be Heartstring Notes, your chances are definitely improved.

    Zayne: Heartstring Notes Memory Stats

Love And Deepspace: An image depicting the stats for Heartstring Notes.

This memory is more than just a lovely tune and cherished moments with Zayne. It comes with a heartwarming tale that is bound to tug at your heartstrings, and it also provides essential combat enhancements when used in your team.

Below is the base statistic information for Zayne: Heartstring Notes.

    • CRIT DMG: 0%
    • CRIT Rate: 2.6%

When ATK exceeds 400, every additional 20 ATK increases your weakness DMG by 0.2%.

Remember that certain stats, such as CRIT DMG, will get better as you level up and upgrade your memory. The higher your level and ranking, the improved your CRIT DMG.

We suggest pairing this memory with a Protocore that enhances your ATK stat. The better your ATK, the more your weakness DMG will be boosted. To maximize this further, ensure you’re using a team that focuses on Wanderers of the same Stellactrum type.

    Event Pool Pull Rewards

This event pool also features guaranteed Pull Rewards, which are bonuses you can receive after making a specific number of pulls in the Wish Pool.

Here’s a breakdown of the potential rewards you can earn as you participate in the Wish Pool.

    Concurrent Events

While Heartstring Notes is active, there are several other events you can join.

One concurrent event is the Cuteness Crush, running from 5:00 AM on October 31 to 4:59 AM on November 10, 2024. In Cuteness Crush, you and Zayne are invited by OTTO-PHO to create pet-themed promotional photos.

The Wish Pool reward Snuggly Ears is perfect for Cuteness Crush photoshoots.

Additionally, there is a ten-day sign-in event from October 20 to November 06, 2024, called 10 Days With You. This event offers sign-in rewards, including a four-star Rafayel memory, Rafayel: Glistening Hearts, and 300 Diamonds.

The Seasonal Promise, Heartfelt Vow, is also available during the Heartstring Notes event, featuring two four-star memories: Zayne: Dream Revisited and Xavier: Winter’s Sun. This Seasonal Promise resets on November 09, 2024.

Furthermore, three passive events are taking place concurrently. The Hunting Season, from October 28 to November 03, is offering double drop bonuses in Core Hunt, allowing you to complete a total of ten levels each day.

A limited plushie, Hearty Heart, can be found in the 2-prong Claw Machine, which has a higher drop rate from October 28 to November 10.

Finally, you can earn an extra Kitty Counter Token for playing Kitty Cards from November 04 to November 24. This event also introduces the Beverage Series of cards, which will return after the event ends at a later, unspecified date.

  • Mastering Love and Deepspace: Your Guide to Cuteness Crush Posters

Mastering Love and Deepspace: Your Guide to Cuteness Crush Posters

This month has been a delight for photo enthusiasts involved with Love And Deepspace. We’ve enjoyed various photoshoot events featuring Sylus and Rafayel, and now Zayne is joining the mix! The ever-persistent ambassador from Twinkle Photo Studio, OTTO-PHO, is back once again, this time bringing a pet-themed photoshoot for you and your special someone.

In this latest round of promotional posters, you and Zayne will take part in creating lively, fun couples’ photos that highlight the cutest pets. While we won’t have actual pets in our shoots, we’ll certainly capture their playful spirits through creative and whimsical shots alongside our favorite doctor, Zayne.

Cuteness Crush is the highlight event, running from 5:00 PM on October 31 to 4:59 PM on November 10, 2024. It’s important to be aware that after this period ends, you won’t be able to obtain exclusive rewards like the Into The Woods photo frame or the Warm Snowflakes accessory.

    Cuteness Crush Photoshoots

Cuteness Crush is just one of the many recurring photoshoot events organized by OTTO-PHO. Each time OTTO-PHO comes back, there are new assignments related to different characters, featuring unique themes and rewards, though they generally follow the same layout and objectives.

To complete the Cuteness Crush event, you need to create seven vibrant couples’ photos that will serve as posters for OTTO-PHO’s promotion. Each day, you’ll receive prompts to guide your photoshoots.

Prompts provide you with essential information about the items, poses, and stickers to use in your posters to achieve a perfect three-star rating at the end of each session. Some prompts can be straightforward, perhaps mentioning a shape or color, while others might direct you to capture a more general feeling or concept, which can be quite tricky.

But don’t worry! We’ll provide daily updates with suggested items for each prompt to make things easier.

    How To Complete Photoshoots

The fun kicks off when you enter the event for the first time and are greeted with the initial event cutscene, which will introduce the overarching theme of the photoshoot. In this case, you and Zayne will be capturing delightful photos centered around the theme of "adorable pets." Each day, you will create a new poster image based on OTTO-PHO’s prompt.

To get started, just select the first available poster slot you see. Your photos can be taken in either Glint Studio or Snapshot.

Remember, you can only complete posters in sequence! A new poster is unlocked each day, but you must finish the previous one before moving on.

Once you’ve selected a poster and entered the Snapshot or Studio interfaces, use OTTO-PHO’s daily prompt to pick items, poses, outfits, and accessories for your shot.

Photos taken in Glint Studio tend to involve more elements, requiring a more complex layout and additional items in your photo. Always ensure to edit your photo at the end! Adding stickers is one of the best ways to improve your scores during a photoshoot, so be sure to use as many relevant stickers as you can think of.

After you’ve snapped all your shots, you can select your favorite and submit it for review as part of your poster print. However, once you submit a photo, you cannot go back to the previous shots from that session. If you change your mind or aren’t satisfied with your rating, you can restart the shoot completely.

If you’re confident in the photo you choose, hit the ‘print’ button to lock it in as that day’s poster.

Each poster earns a star rating, with up to three stars being the best. You should aim for a three-star rating on all your posters, as hitting specific star counts will unlock event rewards. To maximize your rewards during the event, focus on earning at least 16 stars, as you can collect a total of 21 stars throughout the event period.

If you decide to redo your poster print, you can revisit it even after publishing. By clicking on the poster again, you can replace it with a new photo, provided you choose ‘continue’ to start the photoshoot over again.

Do keep in mind that you have 20 photo printing attempts each day during the event, so manage those wisely!

    Tips for Completing Every Poster

Each day brings a different prompt, and while every poster may not be created in the same fashion, employing a few general poster-creation strategies can help you succeed. Photos showcasing couple poses tend to score better than those featuring single characters. Although it is possible to get three stars with solo shots, it’s much more challenging since this is designed as a couples’ photoshoot.

Be generous with your sticker usage; the more, the better! Photoshoots that include a higher number of stickers and accessories perform significantly better than simpler ones. If you’re running low on stickers or accessories, you can acquire more through exchange shops or by spending Diamonds and Crystals in the regular shops, with the Chocolate Shop being a great source for affordable photoshoot items.

While these guidelines will help, you might be seeking a more detailed step-by-step guide. Below are suggestions based on what has worked well for us in creating our three-star posters, though they aren’t exhaustive as every player will have different items available.

    Poster One

For the first poster, the prompt is: "Add a touch of vibrant Green to your pet-themed poster and bring it to life!"

This poster photoshoot will take place in Snapshot, so it won’t be as complex as one done in Glint Studio. The prompt is quite straightforward; aim to include as many green items as possible—these can include accessories, outfits, stickers, and backgrounds.

    Key Items for Poster One

    • Dark Elegance — Zayne’s outfit, obtained as a completion reward from Deepspace Trials.
    • Mechacat Ears — A reward from Seasonal Promise.
    • Glistening Silver — Silver glasses earned at Affinity Level 30 with Zayne.
    • Ink Spot — Black stud earrings from the Lunar Exchange store.
    • Starry Dream — Player outfit.
    • Jade Glasses — Stylish glasses.
    • Irregular Metal — Earrings earned at reward level 30 in Abyssal Chaos.
    • Pink Flower — Three pink flower stickers.
    • Background: Sunny Corner — Rewarded for completing a photoshoot achievement.
    • Filter: White — A basic photo filter available to all.
    • Charged — A sticker with a chat bubble, featuring a lightning bolt and ‘+99’.
    • Meowstival — A sticker from the player’s birthday event.
    • Shining Shades — A sticker depicting dark sunglasses.
    • Zayne: Pinkish View — Zayne’s duo pose purchased in the Chocolate Shop.

Occasionally, sharing your Snapshots can earn you ten Diamonds.

    Poster Two

For Poster Two, the prompt is: "Holding my breath, I click the shutter, capturing this moment just for us and the cute pets, as if it’s etched in time."

This shoot is another Wink Snapshot, meaning there are fewer elements to worry about compared to a Glint Studio photoshoot. Given the somewhat vague prompt, we suggest focusing on the pet theme, which worked well for us!

Several items led to successful three-star posters for this shoot, which include:

    • Tortoiseshell Trend — Tortoiseshell glasses from Into The Canvas: Reminiscence Blessing.
    • Zayne: Face in Hands — Earned upon reaching Affinity Level 18 with Zayne.
    • Zayne: Focused Gaze — Earned at Affinity Level 48 with Zayne.
    • Gray Demeanor — Zayne’s casual outfit.
    • Rubber Duck — A fun hair clip from the Oracle of Stars event.
    • Jewelry and Accessories — Various earrings and items from shops and events.

Completing this poster will unlock the second Story Stage of the event, and achieving three stars will allow you to collect the first progress reward from the rewards bar.

    Poster Three

For Poster Three, the prompt indicates: "Click, click! Capture the grand meeting between him and the little animals!" This photoshoot carries a bit more complexity and is conducted in Glint Studio, requiring various elements in your composition.

To increase your chances of capturing three stars, incorporate items showcasing different animals or items inspired by them.

The items noted for successful execution include:

    • Tortoiseshell Trend — Glasses from Into The Canvas: Reminiscence Blessing.
    • Zayne: Face in Hands — As before, earned upon reaching Affinity Level 18 with Zayne.
    • Reindeer — A humorous sticker showing reindeer antlers.
    • Swallow’s Return — A sticker rewarded during the Mountain Journey event.

Completing these prompts can earn you special event rewards.

    Event Schedule

As new poster prompts are released almost daily during the event, there are special story stages to unlock by reaching specific milestones. Typically, there are four story stages in each Snapshot event. Here is when you can unlock each stage during Cuteness Crush:

    Stage Unlock Requirements
Chapter One – Kitty Invitation Enter the event for the first time.
    Chapter Two Complete two posters.
    Chapter Three Complete four posters.
    Chapter Four Complete all posters.

If you’re not determined to achieve three stars on your posters, don’t worry—you can progress to the next event story without them.

    Cuteness Crush Rewards

As you accumulate stars from your photoshoots, your reward bar will fill, revealing special rewards as you meet particular star milestones. You can monitor your progress anytime at the bottom of the screen.

Rewards for Cuteness Crush are as follows:

    Stars Collected Rewards
Four Stars Into The Woods (event-exclusive frame)
    – 200 Chocolates
Eight Stars – Three Energy Capsule: Powerful
    – 300 Chocolates
Twelve Stars Warm Snowflakes (event headwear)
    – 400 Chocolates
Sixteen Stars – Five Energy Capsule: Powerful
    – 500 Chocolates

    Concurrent Events

A few other events are running parallel to Cuteness Crush. From October 30 to November 09, 2024, Heartstring Notes is a Wish Pool event that enhances your chances of obtaining Zayne’s limited-time five-star memory, Zayne: Heartstring Notes.

Additionally, there’s a 10 Days With You event happening from October 19 to November 06, 2024, rewarding participants with one Empyrean Wish, 300 Diamonds, and Rafayel’s limited-time four-star memory, Rafayel: Glistening Hearts.

Event memories typically appear in the Wishing Well Exchange Shop post-event, especially if only one copy is available.

The Seasonal Promise, Heartfelt Vow also runs concurrently, offering Deepspace Wishes, Empyrean Wishes, special accessories, and two limited four-star memories, Xavier: Winter’s Sun and Zayne: Dream Revisited, but these are unlikely to return to the Wishing Well Exchange Shop.

Whether you’re an avid participant or a new player, the Cuteness Crush event offers plenty of opportunities for fun and creativity!

  • Character Birthdays: Love Stories in Deep Space

Character Birthdays: Love Stories in Deep Space

Birthdays are an important feature in Love And Deepspace, and the creators have crafted special events for each character’s special day, even including a personalized birthday event for players!

Each year, players can enjoy a unique birthday event for all love interests. These events last an entire week and come with exclusive rewards, a fun new shop, and engaging story sections to celebrate with the birthday character. If you miss one, there’s no need to worry! Birthdays occur annually, so you’ll have another chance to celebrate next year.

    All Birthdays

So far, we haven’t had the chance to experience Sylus’s birthday event, but each birthday has followed a similar layout.

For each birthday event, your goal is to throw a memorable surprise party for your love interest, complete with cake and activities. There are four narrative phases, with one unlocking each day, showcasing different moments in your quest for the perfect celebration.

You’ll also get to bake a special cake for him, going through three stages: selecting Ingredients, managing Your Fridge, and assembling the Cake.

During the Ingredients phase, you’ll choose a cake’s Base, Theme, Decorations, and Banner , each taking 30 minutes for delivery. Once they arrive, you can access them in Your Fridge to read a mini-story about that ingredient.

After gathering all the cake components, it’s time to construct the final cake!

The cake you made will become a permanent desk decoration after the event ends, and each cake will be personalized for each individual player!

The birthday events also feature special currencies that can be used in a limited-time birthday store. You earn this currency by completing daily, weekly, and event-specific tasks. Each event offers its own unique outfits, mementos, and accessories to purchase, making it worthwhile to finish tasks!

Moreover, birthday events often come with a Wish Pool where you can collect limited-time memories. This pool includes five-star memories specifically related to the event’s story.

Below is a summary table detailing all character birthdays and their zodiac signs:

Xavier’s birthday is on October 16. His birthday event will start a week before his actual birthday, like all others (except the player’s).

Xavier’s birthday event, titled Timeless Days, kicked off for the first time on October 10, 2024. It’s likely this event will return next year on October 10.

Participants could purchase a unique outfit and a three-star birthday memory of Xavier during this celebration. Additionally, a limited-time Wish Pool was included with Xavier’s birthday event, raising the chances of obtaining his special five-star birthday memory, Xavier: Celestial Message.

Completing the event rewards you with a custom cake made especially for him.

    Zayne

Love And Deepspace: An image of Zayne's dossier in the About Him menu.

Zayne celebrates his birthday on September 5, with his birthday event held from August 31 to September 6, 2024. This period is expected to be the same next year.

His birthday is the third one in the series of love interest birthdays.

During his birthday event, players could purchase the daily outfit, Zayne: Autumn Breeze, and three-star memory, Zayne: Shining Blessing. The five-star birthday memory, Zayne: Eternal Attachment, was also available through a limited-time Event Pool during this celebration.

As with all character birthdays, completing the event allows you to keep a permanent desk ornament representing Zayne’s cake after the event wraps up.

    Rafayel

Love And Deepspace: An image of Rafayel's dossier in the About Him menu.

Rafayel celebrates his birthday on March 6, and his birthday event took place from March 1 to March 8, 2024. Rafayel was the first character to have a birthday event, which set the style for subsequent celebrations.

During Rafayel’s event, players could use Fishie Cookies to buy a three-star memory called Rafayel: Wish Granted and his daily outfit: Iceberg Adventure.

Alongside this event, players had a chance to pull for his five-star memory, Rafayel: Unforgettable Adventure from a limited-time birthday Wish Pool.

The first cake desk ornament of the year was awarded after Rafayel’s birthday event.

    Sylus

Love And Deepspace: An image of Sylus's Dossier in the About Him menu.

Sylus celebrates his birthday on April 18. Since Sylus joined as a character late in 2024, he did not have a birthday event that first year.

We anticipate his debut birthday event to commence around April 11, 2025 and will update this guide with expected rewards once it’s live.

    The Player

Love And Deepspace: Rafayel gives the player a birthday gift during the player birthday event.

The player’s birthday event occurs every year but is initiated based on each player’s personal birthday. While it has a distinct format from the other character birthday events, you still receive gifts from each of the love interests.

Set to last a whole seven days, it kicks off on your actual birthday (as long as you’ve provided your birthday in the profile) and includes gifts not only from the characters but also from Linkon City.

For complete details about the birthday rewards and how to potentially trigger the event ahead of your birthday, check out our Player Birthday Event guide.
