  • Top Team Composition for Solving in Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core

Top Team Composition for Solving in Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core

Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core features only five Reclaimers, which are the playable classes in the game. A typical team consists of four Reclaimers, so one class will always be absent from the lineup. It’s unclear if more classes will be added later, but currently, these are the options available.

Among the five classes, I believe Falconer and Guardian are essential. Falconer delivers high damage with a drone hawk that attacks enemies and can also be used to revive allies from afar. Falconer is especially useful in clutch situations—if you’re the last one alive, you can quietly revive teammates while staying mobile. I enjoy using high-mobility builds, along with weapon upgrades focused on weak point damage, critical hits, and long-range damage.

The Guardian is a sturdy tank class that focuses on health and armor enhancements, taunting enemies, and using abilities to boost armor regeneration. Its main role is to stay alive, deal damage through big explosions, and use the repel ability to keep enemies away from key locations like elevators. For upgrades, I prefer defensive improvements like extra armor, increased health, and bio booster upgrades that add bonus armor. For weapons, shotguns and grenade launchers work well, especially when geared toward defense.

Retcon is an incredibly valuable support class. It can rewind time and revive the last dwarf standing if you take fatal damage, which can save many runs. Combining Retcon with Falconer for extra revives or Guardian to keep enemies at bay makes the team more resilient. I typically select defensive options such as extra armor, health, and health regeneration to stay alive long enough to make the most of Retcon’s abilities.

Spotter offers useful team support by providing ammunition drops and enemy spotting through walls. The extra ammo is particularly helpful since the ammo supply in Rogue Core can be tight. Having a Spotter on your team means everyone has more bullets to handle the increasingly tough enemies.

Overall, this team setup provides strong damage and revival capabilities with Falconer, solid defense with Guardian, crucial time-rewinding with Retcon, and additional ammunition support via Spotter.

  • Top Enhancements for Completing First in Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core

Top Enhancements for Completing First in Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core

Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core offers a range of upgrades scattered across a detailed skill tree that you unlock gradually by completing core runs. Your choices mainly depend on your preferred playstyle: do you want to focus on defense or offense?

Unlocking all these upgrades and reaching their highest levels takes quite some time, as it requires significant progress. Once you’ve chosen a skill path, you can’t refund or change your decision, so pick carefully. Here are some of the top upgrades I recommend to give you an idea of what to aim for:

    Ammo Pouch I
I went straight for Ammo Pouch I because ammo management can be frustrating in Rogue Core. You never seem to have enough. I tried carrying only one gun to maximize the 50% ammo bonus but still ran out too often. This upgrade gives an 8% increase in total ammo, which is helpful since you’ll want to explore this branch of the skill tree anyway.

    Resupplier I
Continuing with the same theme of boosting ammunition supplies, I picked Resupplier I for the 5% bonus ammo when resupplying. Even a small percentage can make a difference during a swarm, giving you a slight edge in survival.

    Deadeye I
This is where damage perks start to really matter. Deadeye provides a solid 10% boost to critical hit damage. On a run, this makes you more effective with your critical hits, so focusing on increasing crit chance from your radar (R.E.P.D.) and artifacts is a smart move.

    Bullseye I
To complement the damage boost, I took Bullseye early to gain a 2% increase to critical hit chance. It may seem small, but stacking this with subsequent upgrades and the perks gained during a run can significantly enhance your crit potential over time.

    Battering Ram I
Since armored enemies can be quite irritating—they absorb a lot of damage—I recommend using armor-shredding weapons and grabbing Battering Ram I, which boosts armor damage by 25%. This makes fighting armored foes much less frustrating.

    Ammo Pouch II
As I was still annoyed by ammo limits, I picked Ammo Pouch II to add another 12% to your maximum ammo capacity. Combining this with Ammo Pouch I means more sustained firepower.

    Resupplier II
Similarly, Resupplier II grants an additional 5% ammo bonus upon resupplying. Running Ammo Pouch I and II together, plus Resupplier I and II, stacks benefits for a sustained ammo supply throughout the mission.

    Sweet Tooth II
I chose Sweet Tooth II primarily to access higher-tier upgrades, but it also provides extra healing from red sugar, the resource used to recover health. It’s particularly valuable on tougher difficulties.

    Deadeye II
Upgrading Deadeye to level two boosts critical damage by an additional 15%, resulting in a total increase of 25%. This makes your crits devastating and is a key part of a damage-focused build.

    Bullseye II
Finally, Bullseye II adds another 3% chance to land critical hits. Combined with Deadeye upgrades, these enhancements turn your character into a crit-focused powerhouse.

Stacking these enhancements together creates a strong build, emphasizing critical hits and sustained damage, especially effective against armored enemies and in prolonged fights.

  • How to Find All Knee Deep in Earth Chests Through Completing Of Ash and Steel

How to Find All Knee Deep in Earth Chests Through Completing Of Ash and Steel

Many side quests are available in “Of Ash And Steel,” so talking to every NPC you encounter is helpful. One such character is Mix, a calm-sounding guy who hangs out in the forests inhabited by wolves and giant rats.

Mix is among the first NPCs you meet on your way to the city. He offers a quest that involves a treasure hunt, digging into the ground for gold and resources. Here’s everything you need to know to complete the “Knee-Deep In Earth” quest.

How to Complete the Knee-Deep In Earth Quest

Before heading out from Nerest to find Mix, thoroughly search Nerest’s house for items you can pick up. Since the quest requires shovels, make sure to take any available in Nerest’s house, camps, and other buildings during your exploration.

You can find Mix down the path from Nerest’s house. Head straight, pass a large puddle, then take a left. Mix will be leaning against a stone wall among the ruins on the left side of the trail. Explore the nearby ruins for additional resources and useful items, such as a claymore sword.

Tip: If you’re attacked by giant rats or wolves, lead them to the nearest NPC, who can easily defeat them.

Mix will tell you about three buried chests he wants you to find. Two are easy to locate, while one might be a bit tricky:

    • One is inside a cave in a hollow.
    • Another is near the windmill by the abandoned village.
    • The last is in the ruins close to the Woodcutter’s Camp.

Be sure to bring at least three shovels. When you reach each location, dig in the bare dirt spot; the chest should appear. If not, try digging nearby spots until you find it.

Chest Location 1: Cave in a Hollow

This chest is guarded by a large woodwalker insect. You can fight it or lure it away. The cave is near Mix’s location: from facing Mix, go left along the path, then inside the hollow. Inside, you’ll find the woodwalker attacking on sight. Lead it to Mix to defeat it, or fight it yourself. Inside the cave, you’ll see a pile of human bones. Dig in the bare patch of earth nearby to find the chest, containing 30 gold, some torches, and camp supplies.

Chest Location 2: Near the Abandoned Village

From Mix, face him and then head to the right along the trail. Cross the wooden bridge into the village, move straight ahead, then left past the hut with purple light until you reach the windmill. Defeat any bugs or wolves you encounter. Behind the windmill, near the cliff edge, find a bare patch of earth and dig to uncover the chest. Inside are two lockpicks and 50 gold.

Chest Location 3: Ruins Near the Woodcutter’s Camp

This final chest is more challenging due to nearby creatures. It’s located in the ruins to the left of the woodcutter’s camp, guarded by a large creature and a few giant rats. From the windmill, follow the path to the right, then left at the fishing spot, crossing a wooden bridge, and continue along the trail until you reach a boardwalk. Cross it, then jump to the other side, and follow the path to the woodcutter’s vicinity.

Head left from the camp to the ruins. Here, you’ll meet Rover, a large beast that charges and headbutts you. You can’t take him down alone, so lure him back to the woodcutter’s camp. Help the woodcutters defeat Rover, and deal the final blow for extra experience and rewards, including 10 raw meat.

Back in the ruins, defeat any giant rats present. Near Rover’s area, the dig spot is commonly found, often with a rat nearby. Dig at this spot to find the last chest, which contains 5 Peasant Lass and 100 gold. Returning to Mix after this quest grants you 300 experience points and an additional 90 gold.

  • Top Tips for Completing Gear in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor

Top Tips for Completing Gear in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor involves a lot of quick decisions that impact your success. Upgrading your skills and mastering movement are crucial to staying alive and progressing effectively.

Choosing the right gear is another important choice, but it’s not urgent. You gather gear during a run, then decide what to equip between missions. This gives you plenty of time to plan and select the best gear for your strategy.

    Gear Drops Are Mostly Random

In Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, gear drops are mostly left to chance. Most runs will reward you with gear, although some situations offer more reliable gear drops. You can increase your chances by aiming to extend each stage, taking on enemies with weapons suited for large groups, and boosting your movement speed to stay longer in levels.

Increase Gear Level by Completing Milestones

The quality of gear you receive depends on your hazard level before starting a mission and how much you’ve upgraded your Gear Level through milestones. Upgrading gear level can be achieved by completing high-difficulty Dives, using different Class Mods, finishing Masteries, and other in-game activities.

    Missions That Always Reward Gear

Certain missions always give gear upon completion, though they aren’t easy to farm repeatedly.

    • Vanguard Contracts: Daily missions that reward gear, featuring random mutators each time.
    • Lethal Operations: Weekly missions with tough mutators, offering more credits and higher-tier gear.

While these missions aren’t the best for consistent farming, they guarantee gear of a certain quality over time, making them a steady way to build up your inventory.

  • How to Farm Deep Brine by Completing Tasks in Slime Rancher 2

How to Farm Deep Brine by Completing Tasks in Slime Rancher 2

In Slime Rancher 2, gathering resources isn’t too complicated, but it does take some time and preparation to harvest the materials needed for upgrades around your farm. No matter where you explore on the Rainbow Islands, you’ll encounter plenty of resources and unique slime varieties with different traits.

One of the first resources you’ll want to find is Deep Brine, which is readily available but can be tricky to collect if you don’t know where to look. Here’s what you need to know about locating Deep Brine on Rainbow Island and using it for upgrades.

    Where to Find Deep Brine

Once you have the resource harvester, your options open up. Start your journey from the Conservatory and head into the Rainbow Fields, where you’ll find many Cotton and Pink Slimes. Travel north along the paths on the right to reach the seaside cliffs, which are home to Pink Slimes and Pogofruits. Use your sprint, jump, or jetpack to cross over to the isolated island to the north.

On this island, you’ll see several patches of Deep Brine bubbling from the sand and pooling on the ground. Use your resource harvester to collect bottles of Deep Brine, then take them back to the storage receptacle at the Conservatory.

Deep Brine respawns daily, so you can return each day to collect more. To the south, additional deposits are found around coral regions. These spots are initially out of reach, but as you explore Rainbow Islands further, you’ll find ways to access them. With a careful route, you can gather over a dozen bottles of Deep Brine per day, perfect for research and upgrades like the Water Tank and Heart Modules, which boost your health.

Deep Brine isn’t just for upgrades—it’s also needed to craft certain teleporters. Since fast travel isn’t available in the game, teleporters are essential for quick navigation. Be sure to collect Deep Brine early on so you can focus on other materials later without running out.

  • Smart Siri With Deep Voice Controls Coming Soon

Smart Siri With Deep Voice Controls Coming Soon

At WWDC 2024, Apple introduced a new, advanced Siri experience capable of performing actions across multiple apps and understanding contextual cues, all made possible through a system known as app intents. The company later highlighted these features in an advertisement for the iPhone 16.

As of 2025, these innovative Siri features have yet to arrive on iPhones. Earlier this year, shareholders filed lawsuits against Apple over misleading advertising that exaggerated Siri’s AI capabilities. The company even had to pull an ad that showcased these Siri enhancements.

It appears that a Siri upgrade is on the horizon. According to Bloomberg, Apple plans to revamp its digital assistant early next year with a comprehensive overhaul of its app intents system.

A visual showing Siri being activated on an iPhone illustrates the future possibilities: users might soon command Siri to locate specific photos, edit and share them, comment on social media posts, browse shopping apps and add items to their carts, or log into services—all through voice commands alone.

The future of Siri is envisioned as both exciting and cautious. Currently, Apple is testing these cross-app voice interactions mainly with its pre-installed applications and a select handful of third-party services like Amazon, Uber, WhatsApp, and YouTube. The company is choosing a careful rollout to prevent past issues.

In the past, Apple experienced notable setbacks, such as a malfunctioning notification summarization feature introduced with Apple Intelligence last year, which led to errors significant enough for Apple to disable the feature for several months. To avoid similar problems, Apple is adopting a more cautious approach this time.

Using just their voice, users may soon be able to ask Siri to find, edit, and send photos, comment on posts, scroll through shopping apps to add items, or log into accounts—all without touching their screen. Still, to prevent mishaps, Apple will likely restrict or completely hide voice interactions in sensitive areas like mobile banking and digital wallets.

This initiative is positioned as a major step forward in Apple’s ecosystem, emphasizing voice-based interactions over traditional touch interfaces. It aligns with concepts seen in Google’s Project Mariner and other AI-driven browsers that aim to streamline user tasks with minimal steps.

Apple’s efforts with AI have faced criticism and hurdles. CEO Tim Cook admitted that the company has lagged behind competitors but pledged that progress is underway. The upcoming Siri overhaul marks a promising start towards a more capable AI assistant—potentially one that can rival Google’s Gemini or Microsoft’s Copilot in functionality and sophistication.
