According to a writer for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” the canceled talk show has not received any backing from its former network for Emmy nomination consideration. Throughout its 11-season run, CBS’s late-night program garnered numerous nominations, including Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series, but it only secured two wins. The show was awarded the titles of Best Conversational Series and Outstanding Directing for a Variety Series in 2025.

However, on June 20, show writer Felipe Torres Medina shared on Instagram that, “CBS is not doing a For Your Consideration campaign for us, so the @colbertlateshow writers decided to create our own #FYC campaign, strictly for financial reasons.”
    Instagram post

Despite Medina’s claims, CBS executed a full FYC campaign for the series across all relevant categories, which included television ads, digital billboards in New York and Los Angeles, and multiple email appeals to voters.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS purchased an FYC advertisement for “The Late Show” on their website, linking to a page detailing all the writers involved.

The voting for Emmy nominees concluded on Monday, June 22. On July 8, “The Bear” star Liza Colón-Zayas and Jeff Hiller from “Widow’s Bay” are scheduled to reveal the nominations. The host for the ceremony has not yet been announced. The event will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock on September 14, 2026.

  • How to Create the Best Hell Layout in Sintopia by Completing and Solving

How to Create the Best Hell Layout in Sintopia by Completing and Solving

Sintopia emphasizes the importance of organization and careful planning. Neglecting the overworld can cause your Hell Inc. system to become overwhelmed, but spending too much time in Hell can cause your Temple to collapse.

The best layouts in Hell vary based on your goals and the mode you’re playing, but generally, the core structure remains similar. Here’s what you need to know about building and arranging your Hell Inc. system for optimal performance, from basic layouts to reaching specific objectives.

    Early Game Basic Hell Layout

When you first enter Hell Inc., zoom out as much as possible to get an overview of the entire area. You may notice pockets of Purgatiles or Corruptiles, which you can use to your advantage by building paths along them or avoiding them if you want to prevent earning extra Sin Points.

    • Purgatiles: When Souls walk along these paths, you earn Purgadollars.
    • Corruptiles: Souls moving on these paths gain 1 Sin Point for the associated Sin.

    Begin with essential items like:

    • At least two Omnisin Doctors (more later if possible)
    • Rest Rooms or Break Rooms near each section with Imp Roads leading to them
    • Soul Dispatchers
    • Paths and Waiting Lines
    • At least one Waiting Booth in each section
    • At least two Hellpet Shows to start with, leaving enough space for expansion

Start your layout by placing Omnisin Doctor buildings. These help you earn Purgadollars and cleanse the sins of non-Deviant Souls. Create a small path leading from a Soul Dispatcher to a Waiting Booth and a long, winding queue.

The Soul Dispatcher directs different types of Souls along their routes:

    • Regular Souls go through the Omnisin Doctors for cleansing.
    • Souls with low Sin who can become Hearo are sent straight back to the overworld, often via a Hellpet Show.
    • Deviant Souls are sent to specialist doctors for specialized treatment.
    • Saints are kept in a waiting line loop until their Holy Patience is exhausted, which can be as simple as a loop sending Saints around repeatedly.

Your first Soul Dispatcher should direct Hearo and Saint Status Souls one way, while all other Souls go to the Omnisin Doctors. Later, you will need to direct Deviant Souls to specialist doctors.

When Souls leave the Omnidoctor, they might not yet be cleansed enough for Hearo status. Place another Soul Dispatcher to send Hearo Souls to the exit or back to the start if they need further cleansing.

Your system to sort Souls at the beginning might look like this:

    • Souls needing cleansing go to the Omnisin Doctors.
    • Souls ready for the overworld exit go directly back up.
    • Deviant Souls are routed to specialized doctors.
    • Saints are placed in a waiting loop until their patience runs out.

Once your basic Sin-cleansing system is built, consider investing in specialist doctors, like the Pridologist or Gluttologist. These treat specific sins that regular Omnisin Doctors cannot handle. Create a route for Deviant Souls to visit their respective specialists and then decide whether they are cleansed for the overworld or need to be sent back for more treatment.

Later, if you are low on Faithcoins, build Hellpet Shows near the end of Souls’ journey back to the overworld. Place a few, each with its own Waiting Booth and Waiting Line, to handle Saints and Hearo Souls efficiently. These sections can be quite busy, so consider adding looping waiting lines to manage the flow.

Your layout should also allow for easy addition of more buildings of the same type without demolishing existing structures. Demolitions should be avoided since you don’t get a full refund. Focus on generating Purgadollars and processing Souls efficiently to unlock upgrades and new buildings as your system grows.

  • How to Create Blueprints in Arknights: Completing Endfield

How to Create Blueprints in Arknights: Completing Endfield

Progressing in Arknights: Endfield involves engaging in combat with your operators, but most of your advancement depends on building factory systems. The best way to improve your factory setup with accurate configurations is through the blueprint system, which lets you save factory machine and conveyor belt arrangements for quick reuse.

Blueprints are key tools in simplifying your factory construction in Arknights: Endfield. They allow you to replicate efficient production lines without having to place every piece with precision each time. Here’s how to use blueprints, create your own, and access some helpful blueprint codes.

    What Are Blueprints?

Blueprints are saved layouts of your factory that let you quickly set up a productive manufacturing line. There are three main types:

    1. My Blueprints – Custom layouts you create and save manually.
    2. System Blueprints – Pre-made blueprints provided during gameplay as starting points.
    3. Shared Blueprints – Blueprints shared by friends or community members via codes.

How to Make a Custom Blueprint:
To create a blueprint, go to the AIC area and follow these steps:

    1. Open the Toolkit tab on the right side of the screen.
    2. Click on the Blueprints submenu above it.
    3. Switch to the My Blueprints section.
    4. Tap the “New Blueprint” button at the bottom.
    5. Pick the facilities you want included in the layout.
    6. Save and name your blueprint for later use.

Note: You’ll unlock multiple factory zones as you progress through the story.

System Blueprints let you choose a specific product to manufacture. They provide a setup with instructions for resource inputs required to start production.

Shared Blueprints are obtained from friends or other players in the community. You can import these by tapping the “Import Blueprint” button at the bottom.

    How to Use Blueprints Effectively

The most efficient way to use blueprints is by creating interconnected systems to maximize your production capabilities. However, building complex networks requires significant game progress. Starting with simple production lines is a good way to learn.

    To optimize your factory-building:

    • Focus on creating connected systems to streamline manufacturing.
    • Use blueprints to quickly set up production lines and minimize manual placement.
    • Check your Operational Manual to see what rewards you can earn from using blueprints, which include bonuses beyond increased productivity.

    Community Codes to Get Started:
Use these codes for early or mid-game resource farming. (Note: Codes are for North America/Europe servers.)

    Farm Type Code Notes
Cryston Component EFO01O3E89UEo4li9oe4 Level 50 Gear
Dense Originium Powder EFO01A5i4oai27E69ieO Late-game material
    Efficient Planting EFO0136u9A1u0oa60i79 N/A
    Ferrium Component EFO011eaiO8aA9U734O7 Mid-game
    Steel Part EFO018930U23al1EUI73 N/A
    SC Battery EFO0158Oo07Oi2u6eloe Mid-game

As you expand your factory and start combining production lines for more advanced items, using blueprints helps you manage resources efficiently and identify shortages at a glance.

  • How to Complete a Dedicated Server Setup in StarRupture

How to Complete a Dedicated Server Setup in StarRupture

Playing multiplayer in StarRupture makes sci-fi survival a shared adventure where teamwork equals as much importance as technology. Although the tutorial is designed for solo play, you can work together with up to four players on the same hostile planet, managing exploration, base building, and defenses as a team.

Feel free to take on ambitious goals while sharing roles to keep things running smoothly, and fight enemies together. It can make surviving on this alien world a little easier. Here’s how to join StarRupture as a team.

    ### How to Set Up a Multiplayer Server

When playing co-op, you first need to decide who will be the host. The host sets up and starts the game and invites others to join. When creating the game, they can pick between ‘Invite Only’ or ‘Friends Only.’ The main difference is that with ‘Invite Only,’ the host has to send an invite for each player, and other Steam friends cannot join on their own.

To invite players, the host must enter the game and press the ‘Esc’ key to open the menu. On the right side, they will see their username and three empty slots. They need to select a slot and choose the option to invite someone via Steam. The invited player will get a notification with a link to join the game.

The game session will be saved on the host’s computer. Usually, others can only join when the host allows it, but there is an option called SaveSync that keeps the server open for everyone at all times.

    > Multiplayer games are limited to four players: the host and three others. Currently, this limit cannot be increased.

    ### How to Use SaveSync as Host to Play Offline

SaveSync is a tool available on Steam that helps keep co-op worlds alive even when the host is offline. It lets you join and play the same game world without the host being online. To use it, you need to install SaveSync and save your game.

After setting up your save, exit StarRupture and launch SaveSync from your Steam Library. Select StarRupture from the list, then click ‘New Save.’ Your saved sessions will appear—pick the one you want and click ‘Create Save.’

The save file will start syncing, and you’ll see a green check once it’s complete. Use the share icon (six options next to the check) to find your teammates’ Steam usernames. Click on their names to share the save with them.

    ### How to Use SaveSync as a Teammate

Once the host has synced and shared the save file, open SaveSync from your Steam Library. If everything was done correctly, you’ll see the shared save in your game list when you click on StarRupture in SaveSync. Select ‘Activate’ on the shared save, and you’ll be able to use that world without the host being online.

    > Everyone on your team who wants to use the same world offline must purchase and install SaveSync.

  • How To Create Humans in The Last Caretaker: Completing & Solving

How To Create Humans in The Last Caretaker: Completing & Solving

In “The Last Caretaker,” your main task is to nurture a human seed for a colony that aims to rebuild humanity elsewhere. After bringing the seed back to the Lazarus Complex, the next step is to ensure it has everything needed to survive.

You’ll need to supply power and water. Additionally, you must gather nutrients and memories to develop the human’s personality and physical health, enabling it to thrive on the colony. This part of the process involves learning how to grow a human as part of the game’s evolution steps.

    ### How To Provide Fresh Water For Your Human
Previously, we covered setting up a fresh water supply. Here’s a quick review:
    1. Connect electricity through the door opposite the save and vitality points.
    2. Run the power down the ladder on the left into the lower chamber.
    3. Divide the power to run the saltwater pump and the water purifier.
    4. Lay water cables to the same chamber.
    5. Link the water supply line to the water purifier’s freshwater port.
    6. Attach the saltwater port to the pump.
    7. Repair both the pump and the purifier.
    8. Ensure water flows upward through pipes and electricity flows downward.
    9. Connect the water supply to the Lazarus chamber containing the pod.

You also need water to produce nutrients, which are vital for the human’s growth.

    ### How To Provide Food For Your Human
You might have some food canisters already, but to produce more, you’ll need to build a food processor, unlocked at level ten for two skill points. Required parts include:
    – Conduit wiring (1)
    – Connector ports (2)
    – Alloy frames (2)
    – Filtering system (1)
    – Display screen (1)

Once crafted, assemble the parts and connect the food processor to your water and power sources. Building near the chamber makes the process easier.

    ### How To Get Biomaterials
Biomaterials are necessary for crafting nutrients. They can be found in various locations such as docks and containers, but the main sources are:
    – Crawlers for Omega-3
    – Oceans via ships’ nets for proteins and carbohydrates
    – Dismantled bio waste canisters for fats
    – Red slime for calcium
    – Pink slime for vitamin D
    – Talon sharks for bioregulators, nanite nutrients, and mitochondrial amplifiers

Collecting these biomaterials allows you to create a variety of nutrients for your human.

    ### All Types Of Food
There are nine types of food, each with different effects and unlock requirements:
    – Nutri-Core (unlocks at level 10, 1 skill point): boosts health, intellect, lifespan, strength, and weight. Ingredients: fats, proteins, carbohydrates.
    – High-Fat (tier 10): increases weight and supports other traits. Ingredients: fats, proteins, carbs.
    – Physique Fuel (tier 11): enhances height and strength. Ingredients: fats, proteins, carbs.
    – Mind Surge (tier 11): increases intellect and lifespan. Ingredients: fats, proteins, carbs.
    – Muscle Fortification (tier 13): significantly boosts weight and strength, with additional trait effects. Ingredients: calcium, vitamin D, omega-3.
    – Bone-Fortify (tier 14): improves height, strength, and overall robustness. Ingredients: vitamin D, calcium, omega-3.
    – Endura-Growth (tier 14): enhances overall growth traits. Ingredients: vitamin D, calcium, omega-3.
    – Immune Boost (tier 15): bolsters health and vitality traits. Ingredients: fats, proteins, carbs, vitamin D, calcium, omega-3.
    – Neuro-Boost (tier 15): boosts mental capabilities and lifespan. Ingredients: key minerals and nutrients.

Balancing these foods helps you develop a healthy, viable human.

    ### Where To Find Memories For Your Human
Memories shape personality and can’t be crafted, only collected. They come from everyday objects such as books, instruments, or decorations. Common locations include:
    – On desks
    – On shelves
    – In vents
    – In containers
    – Near furniture
    – In dark corners

Loot all loose items you find. Visiting beacons and other key areas can yield more memories if you’re short.

    ### How To Use The Lazarus Pod Interface
Interacting with the Lazarus pod opens a menu displaying your available items and your human’s current traits. Focus first on physical traits needed for growth, such as:
    – Life Expectancy (minimum 10 years)
    – Height (minimum 30 cm)
    – Weight (minimum 20 kg)
    – And trait-specific requirements if any.

Use nutrient canisters from your inventory and drag them into the Lazarus rack to adjust physical traits. Moving items out is also possible. Red indicators highlight traits exceeding minimums; balance is key to creating a healthy human.

    ### Basic Mental Traits
There’s no minimum for mental traits, but aiming for points in all nine areas ensures a well-rounded personality. Traits include:
    – Empathy
    – Communication
    – Patience
    – Discipline
    – Leadership
    – Adaptability
    – Creativity
    – Focus
    – Logic
    – Wisdom

Hover over memory items to view the traits they confer. Higher-quality items have more impact. Some objects, like sports equipment, may not offer traits, so check before carrying them around. Aim for a balanced mental profile, resulting in a viable human.

    ### How To Finish Creating Your Human
Once physical and mental traits are set, add memories to influence personality further. When ready, press ‘E’ to start the growth process. It takes about ten minutes—during this time, watch as the human develops. After completing the growth, you’ll receive confirmation, and the quest concludes.

  • Creating Custom Getaways in The Sims 4: Your Adventure Awaits

Creating Custom Getaways in The Sims 4: Your Adventure Awaits

The Sims 4: Adventure Awaits uses the existing calendar tools to introduce a new way to manage how Sims behave during vacations. The “Getaway” feature displays a schedule of activities, which Sims follow, allowing you to control when they eat, sleep, and participate in activities.

You can also send any or all household members on a trip using custom getaways. The best part is that all work and school obligations are paused during the vacation. This makes planning a perfect holiday easy, and our guide helps you organize the ultimate getaway.

    How to Schedule a Getaway

To plan a trip, click the phone icon at the bottom left of the screen, then select the green “Travel” button with a car symbol. From there, you have several options:

    • Plan a Fitness Retreat: Sends Sims to a ready-made fitness camp called Revive and Thrive.
    • Plan a Getaway: Choose from ready-made templates or create your own custom trip.
    • Plan a Romantic Competition: Compete in “Love Highland,” building romantic connections with other singles, or be sent home.
    • Plan an Outdoor Kids Camp: Send child Sims to camp alone or with a parent acting as counselor.

The cost for each trip depends on the number of Sims and the lot value. Remember, all Sims are charged equally regardless of roles like counselor or staff.

To book a getaway for a future day, open the calendar by clicking the icon next to the phone icon. Select the desired day and click “Add Getaway” on the menu. Only the custom getaway option appears here, but you can select pre-made ones by setting locations and schedules during setup. Once configured, confirm by clicking the checkmark to start the trip.

    The Plan A Getaway Interface

When opening a predefined trip, you’ll often be taken directly to the schedule section, but it’s useful to review each tab’s details.

Location: Select a site from your world using the list on the left. Use dropdown menus above the lot image to customize the duration (1 to 6 nights), recurrence (weekly or not), and start/end times. Note that start times are only adjustable via the calendar, not the phone.

Roles: Default schedules assign roles like bartender, chef, or camper to Sims. You can modify roles by clicking on a Sim’s picture, then setting criteria such as age, skills, traits, or relationships. You can also add activities like cooking, cleaning, socializing, or crafting. You may create custom roles by clicking “Create Role,” giving it a name, criteria, activities, and uploading it to your library for reuse.

Rules: Many rules are for elimination competitions but can also introduce positive or negative effects (buffs/debuffs) to add variety. Up to five of the 14 total rules can be selected, divided into:

    • Neutral or Positive Buffs: e.g., Activity Shuffle, Love Is In The Air, Grindset Mindset.
    • Chaotic or Negative Buffs: e.g., Hardcore Mode, House of Grudges.
    • Elimination Rules: Only one at a time, such as Lowest Skill Level or Lowest Progress. These determine how Sims are eliminated, either by overall skill, recent progress, or specific criteria like player choice or relationship status.

    Choosing Locations

The location tab displays a list of lots. Use the dropdown menu to filter by lot type or switch worlds by clicking the world name at the top. Select a lot by clicking it for a detailed view with options to set duration and times. Remember, start times are only adjustable via the calendar.

    Setting Roles

Click on a Sim’s picture within a role to customize their criteria and activities. You can specify requirements like age, skills, or traits and decide if the activity is mandatory. Example: “Staff” may only require being a teen or older and performing cleaning tasks, but you can add roles like “Chef” with specific skill and fame levels, or “Outdoor Enthusiast” engaging in water sports and outdoor adventures.

To add a new role, click the plus icon next to “Create Role,” define the role’s parameters, and upload it to your library for future use.

    Defining Schedules

A schedule lists activities with time slots—up to seven per day—each with a start time, main activity, and participating roles. The schedule helps keep Sims on track, prioritizing main activities and roles. You can create custom schedules or choose from pre-made ones that correspond to specific getaway types. Pre-made options include the “Fitness Retreat” or “Romantic Competition,” each with dedicated locations and preset schedules.

The schedule tabs allow you to see the location details, set activities, and assign roles in each time period. Activities are added with the plus button, and roles are assigned by clicking “Add Role.”

    Setting Rules

You can apply up to five rules from a total of 14, divided into buffs and elimination criteria. Buffs like “Renaissance Studio” or “Love Is In The Air” influence how Sims feel during the trip, while chaos rules like “Hardcore Mode” add difficulty. Elimination rules define how Sims are removed from the trip based on skills, relationships, or performance.

Some rules measure specific skills like creativity, cooking, or fitness, with progress accumulating across related skills. Only one elimination rule can be active at a time, with options for favoritism-based, popularity-based, or romantic elimination.

    Starting the Getaway

Once all settings are in place, press the checkmark icon on the rule tab to begin the trip. During the getaway, a schedule will appear at the top left—click it to hide if desired. When the trip ends, a prompt asks whether to continue or return home. You can cancel anytime by clicking the schedule icon at the top.

  • How to Create the Hangover Cure by Completing and Solving in Borderlands 4

How to Create the Hangover Cure by Completing and Solving in Borderlands 4

Enjoying a few drinks can be fun in moderation, but sometimes people go a little too far. In Borderlands 4, there’s a side mission where you help the local Psychos recover from their excessive partying.

To stop their antics, you’ll need more than just water and sleep. Teaming up with a moonshiner, you’ll create the best hangover cure. Here’s how to complete the Hangover Helper side mission, including what ingredients you need and where to find them.

    Talk To Ole Shammy

Start by speaking with Iris to begin the quest. She can be found north of the Abandoned Post in the Coastal Bonescape and looks clearly intoxicated. After talking to her, you’ll be directed to Ole Shammy to the east. As you approach, you’ll unlock Shammy’s Shack and meet the moonshiner in his bar. He’ll tell you he can make a hangover cure if you bring him certain ingredients, starting with some fruit on nearby cliffs.

    Where To Gather Fruit

Head north and climb the cliffs following the waypoints. You’ll encounter a group of Kratch. Feel free to fight them or just focus on collecting the fruit—getting in and out quickly is fine. The fruit grows along the rock face and is bright green. When close, use your hook to pull the fruit towards you. Collect all four pieces from two marked areas on your HUD and return to Shammy.

When back at the shack, Shammy will tell you to place the fruit in a tub and smash it with a ground pound. After that, you need to grab a geyser nugget.

    How To Open The Geyser

Next, move east to find a geyser. Ground pound it to make it erupt, then wait for a red chunk of rock to eject. Use your lasso to grab this chunk and head back to Shammy. Throw the geyser nugget into the pot to continue with the recipe.

Where To Farm Manglers For Glands

The last ingredient is nine mangler scent glands. Go northwest to caves where manglers appear. Fight the manglers and collect their blue glands as they pop out of their corpses. After a few minutes, they will stop spawning, and you’ll need to move to a second marked area on your HUD to gather the remaining glands. Once you have all nine glands, return to Shammy, who will prepare the final cure and suggest testing it on some nearby drunks.

Cure Some Hangovers (And Do A Little Murder)

With the cure ready, place the keg on top of the tower and interact with the microphone to tell everyone to gather underneath. Shoot the keg to dump the drink on them, which will sober them up. The partygoers won’t be happy about getting sober, and they will turn hostile. Keep your distance and use your ranged attacks to take them out. Once all are defeated, the mission ends.

After completing the quest, you’ll earn a pistol, a vehicle paint job, and a gun skin. These rewards can be found in your inventory’s rewards section.

  • iPhone 17 Pro Lets You Make a Legendary Effect But There’s a Twist

iPhone 17 Pro Lets You Make a Legendary Effect But There’s a Twist

Apple has recently introduced the iPhone 17 series, with the high-end Pro model showcasing several notable upgrades. Its body is made from a single piece of aluminum for durability and sleekness, and it features an enlarged battery capacity. The device also incorporates a new “vapor chamber” technology for improved cooling and sports a display that is three times more resistant to scratches, among other enhancements.

One of the main focuses of this launch was on camera improvements. All three rear cameras now feature 48-megapixel sensors, with the telephoto lens upgraded to provide 8x optical zoom, a significant increase from the previous 5x. The iPhone 17 Pro also introduces a new 18-megapixel front-facing camera equipped with Center Stage technology. This camera uses a square sensor with a wider viewing angle, making it versatile for both portrait and landscape selfies, whether you’re holding the phone vertically or horizontally.

The company’s promotional video for the iPhone 17 Pro also highlighted a new genlock feature, compatible with Blackmagic’s Camera ProDock and various supporting apps. This technology allows for precise synchronization of video feeds from multiple cameras, enabling filmmakers to create stunning effects reminiscent of the iconic bullet time scene from The Matrix. This technique involves multiple cameras capturing the same scene from slightly different angles, resulting in a synchronized effect that mimics time freezing as the camera moves around the action in slow motion.

In the demonstration, multiple iPhone 17 Pros are shown recording the same scene from different perspectives to achieve this cinematic effect. A notable example from the launch showcases this process, emphasizing the need for several devices working in unison to produce the final result.

While older models like the iPhone 15 Pro lacked such hardware synchronization capabilities, filmmakers like Danny Boyle achieved similar visual effects by capturing multiple angles in real time and assembling them in post-production. The key difference with the new genlock feature is its ability to keep video frames perfectly aligned at the hardware level, thanks to an external synchronization signal. This eliminates issues like flickering, tearing, or misaligned footage, allowing for a more professional presentation.

In summary, the iPhone 17 Pro’s genlock support simplifies multi-camera filming, offering enhanced precision and high-quality results. However, to fully leverage this technology, you’ll need a collection of these devices, making it more suitable for professional use rather than casual filming.

  • How to Build the Ultimate Debuffer in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, Solving the Challenge

How to Build the Ultimate Debuffer in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, Solving the Challenge

“Umamusume: Pretty Derby” requires significant investment to maximize the potential of your racers. Using a debuff-based strategy is especially effective for beginners, as it allows you to influence other racers’ performance and increase your chances of winning.

To build a strong debuffer, focus on acquiring as many debuff skills as possible. Characters like Nice Nature, Symboli Rudolf, and Curren Chan excel at applying debuffs. They can compensate for initial stat shortages and help secure early victories.

    Best Nice Nature Debuffer Build

Nice Nature naturally has numerous debuff skills in her starting kit, making her a good choice even with limited support cards for skill acquisition. Using skills like Hesitant Late Surgers helps handle racers running alongside her, while Murmur affects racers rushing ahead. As a late surger, focus on debuffing the front-runners and pace chasers early on. Skills such as Subdued Front Runners and Subdued Pace Chasers tire out opponents early, and Disorient hampers their ability to chase you in the final stretch.

Note: Be cautious not to slow opponents too much near the race’s end to avoid traffic issues, which could also hamper your own performance.

For longer races, consider using Smoke Screen to disrupt visual clarity ahead, and Sharp Gaze with skills like Frenzied Pace Chasers and Frenzied Front Runners to drain opponents’ energy near the finish.

    Recommended Skills and Support Cards:

    • Subdued Front Runners: Aoi Kiryuin (Trainer’s Teamwork), Matikane Tannhauser (Just Keep Going)
    • Subdued Pace Chasers: Rice Shower (Showered in Joy), Symboli Rudolf (Tracen Academy)
    • Disorient: Rice Shower, Mejiro McQueen (Tracen Academy)
    • Sharp Gaze: Ikuno Dictus (Never Skip Warm-Ups), Zenno Rob Roy (The Perfect Book For You)
    • Frenzied Pace Chasers: Grass Wonder (Fairest Fleur)
    • Frenzied Front Runners: Sakura Bakushin O (Eat Fast! Yum Fast), Ikuno Dictus
    • Smoke Screen: Gold Ship (Breakaway Battleship)

Tip: Timing is crucial when building a debuffer. Match skills with matchups and race segments for maximum effect. For example, avoid frantic skills late in the race if the opponent has strong stamina preservation.

    Best Symboli Rudolf Debuffer Build

Symboli Rudolf is a dominant figure on the track, and her debuffing ability relies on skills like Tether to reduce the speed of front runners and Subdued Late Surgers to slow late-race chasers. She should prioritize slowing down front-runners with skills like Hesitant Front Runners and Flustered Front Runners. To slow late surgers during the final stretch, use Hesitant Late Surgers.

Note: When Rudolf moves to the lead, using Disorient can impair the racers behind. Illusionist and Smoke Screen affect racers ahead and are more suited for long races.

For tiring out pace setters running alongside her, acquire Subdued Pace Chaser to deplete their stamina early.

    Recommended Skills and Support Cards:

    • Hesitant Front Runners: Marvelous Sunday (A Marvelous Plan), Satono Diamond (The Will To Overtake)
    • Hesitant Late Surgers: Nice Nature (Messing Around)

Additional Tip: Focus on skills that slow or disturb opponents early in the race for a stronger debuff setup. Timing skill activation with race segments enhances effectiveness.

    Best Curren Chan Debuffer Build

Curren Chan may seem adorable but can be a fierce competitor, often causing chaos among rivals. Her Intimidate skill can panic other racers early on, forcing them to waste stamina. Her Disorient skill hampers their vision near the finish, making it harder for opponents to win.

Note: Causing panic pushes opponents to burn stamina prematurely, which is crucial in sprint races. Follow up with Frenzied Late Surgers and Frenzied End Closers to further drain stamina, especially when playing her as a front runner. Use Frenzied Pace Chasers for added chaos in her preferred pace-chasing position.

To slow down front-runners and pace chasers, combine skills like Hesitant Pace Chasers and Flustered Front Runners. If you have ample skill points, enhance her early-game control by investing in Subdued Front Runners and Pace Chasers skills.

    Recommended Skills and Support Cards:

    • Frenzied Late Surgers: Seiun Sky (Foolproof Plan), Tamamo Cross (Split The Sky, White Lightening)
    • Hesitant Pace Chasers: Super Creek (Piece Of Mind)
    • Frenzied End Closers: Biwa Hiyahide (Trial Initiation), Agnes Digital (Digital’s Recharge Station)
    • Flustered Front Runners: Sakura Bakushin O

Tip: Use skills that cause opponents to panic or exhaust stamina, especially in races where control over pacing is advantageous. Timing support card acquisition to match race segments optimizes debuffing potential.

All these builds depend heavily on selecting the right skills at the optimal times and appropriately supported by support cards. Effective debuffers can control race dynamics and give a strategic edge, especially in longer races where stamina management and timing are critical.

  • Completing Experiences in Daggerheart: A Solving Guide

Completing Experiences in Daggerheart: A Solving Guide

In Daggerheart, when you create a character, you’ll need to define something called Experiences. These are essential elements of character development that significantly influence your character’s identity and provide bonuses to vital gameplay actions like Action Rolls.

If you’re new to Daggerheart and come from a traditional tabletop gaming background, such as Dungeons & Dragons, you might find yourself unsure of how to begin. This guide aims to clarify everything you need to know about Experiences and creating them in Daggerheart.

    What Are Experiences?

    Goblin Warrior via Darrington Press

As noted, Experiences are a crucial part of shaping your character, enriching both their backstory and gameplay mechanics.

Some Ancestries and Classes come with unique advantages that complement Experiences, so keep an eye on these during character creation.

When selecting an Experience, you’ll pick a word or phrase that describes a skill set your character has developed over time.

Here are a few examples of potential Experiences:

    • Exiled Royal
    • I Make My Own Luck
    • Poker Face
    • Rebellious
    • Class Clown

Each of these terms represents an Experience, as they are specific and provide insight into your character’s identity.

In Daggerheart, there is no fixed list of Experiences to choose from; you can either create your own or draw inspiration from the main rulebook.

    How Do Experiences Work?

A druid character casting a spell in Daggerheart.
    Druid via Darrington Press

During character creation, you’ll choose two Experiences. As you level up, you’ll acquire more Experiences as shown below:

    Character Level Experiences
    Character Creation 2
    Level 2 3
    Level 5 4
    Level 8 5

As you gain Experiences, they should represent significant events from your adventures.

For example, if your character spent time on a pirate ship, you might add the Experience ‘Seafaring Rogue’ at level two.

Next, you’ll list your Experiences on your character sheet, each one providing a +2 modifier.

Whenever you make an Action or Reaction Roll that corresponds with your selected Experience, you can add this modifier to your outcome.

However, you must first spend a Hope. If you run out of Hope, you can’t apply your Experience to the roll, so use it wisely.

If it fits the situation, you may add more than one Experience modifier to your roll, although your GM has the final say.

    How To Create Experiences

A group of players in Daggerheart riding on mystical horse-like creatures.
    Adventuring Party via Darrington Press

While the Daggerheart main rulebook suggests many Experiences, it’s highly recommended that you come up with your own, during both character creation and as you progress.

Consider these factors when crafting custom Experiences:

    • Character Concept – Define your character concept first. Your Experience choices should be shaped by your character’s identity and class.
    • Specificity – Experiences should be specific. Terms like ‘Strong’ or ‘Brave’ are too general. Instead, try something like ‘Reckless Warrior.’
    • Worldbuilding – Use Experiences to add depth to your Daggerheart world by being detailed.

With this in mind, let’s create an example character with two unique Experiences.

This character is a clank Troubadour bard from a slyborne community who grew up playing music in casinos, underground gambling spots, and on the street.

With this background, we can create the following Experiences:

    Experience Details
    Street Smart

You had to learn to fend for yourself and are exceptionally resourceful.

In big cities, you navigate easily and know who to approach for help and how to make quick money.

    Lie Detector

As a result of your time in gambling environments, you are skilled at spotting deception.

You excel at discerning lies and figuring out who is trustworthy.

These Experiences are tailored to the character concept. As the character develops, they will acquire new Experiences based on their journeys with the group.

As you progress, you can also adjust Experiences that no longer fit your character.

For instance, if your character becomes more trusting, you may decide that they are not such a good Lie Detector any longer and replace that Experience with another.

  • Completing a Spirit-Fused Fighter Subclass in DND: A Guide to Solving

Completing a Spirit-Fused Fighter Subclass in DND: A Guide to Solving

    Overview of Spirit-Fused Fighters

Spirit-fused fighters present a fascinating and slightly eerie subclass choice within the Obojima campaign setting for Dungeons & Dragons. These fighters become unwitting hosts for dying spirits, endowing them with impressive supernatural powers that surpass those of typical fighters.

This subclass, much like others in the Obojima realm, offers a lighthearted and whimsical experience, making it an entertaining option for seasoned D&D players seeking something different from the standard subclasses in the 2024 Player’s Handbook. If you’re eager to incorporate this subclass, whether in Obojima or your own campaign, here’s a guide on how to create a spirit-fused fighter.

    Spirit-Fused Fighter Features

As a spirit-fused fighter, you become a conduit for a spirit, gaining extraordinary abilities that enhance your combat skills. Below is a summary of key subclass features:

    Subclass Feature Character Level Details
Arcane Quirk 3 Your connection to a spirit grants you unique quirks, such as floating while unconscious. This feature adds roleplaying flavor but no mechanical benefit.
Channel Essence 3 You harness spirit energy for your attacks using 4d6 essence dice, which you can spend to boost attack rolls or damage. These reset after a short or long rest.
Object Channeling 3 You can imbue objects with energy for various effects. This includes gaining proficiency in the Salvage skill and options like casting spells like Feather Fall.
Spirit Battery 7 You learn the Jolt cantrip, a tailored spell that provides additional benefits.
Improved Object Channeling 7 You gain an extra channeling option and can use Object Channeling a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
Improvised Armor 10 You can channel energy into your armor to boost your Armor Class by rolling an essence die.
Backup Battery 15 You get an extra use of your Second Wind feature without requiring an action when your Hit Points drop below your fighter level.
Junk Master 18 You gain another channeling option and recover two uses of Object Channeling if you have none left when rolling initiative.

Keep in mind that some features may reference spells or statistics not typically found in standard 5e campaigns. If you’re adapting this subclass to a different setting, consult your DM for balance adjustments.

Ideal Ability Scores for a Spirit-Fused Fighter

For spirit-fused fighters, prioritizing physical attributes is crucial. Focus on Strength or Dexterity, as these will be the most beneficial even in roleplay-heavy environments like Obojima.

    Ability Score Details
Strength This determines attack power, so it should be your highest score.
Dexterity Important for your Armor Class and other physical skills, making it the second priority.
Constitution Vital for Hit Points, helping withstand effects like poison.
Intelligence You’ll want a decent score since you gain proficiency in the Salvage skill, which is Intelligence-based.
Wisdom While less critical, it can help to resist the effects of spells.
Charisma Unless focusing on roleplay, keep this as your lowest score.

Best Species for a Spirit-Fused Fighter

While many species from the 2024 Player’s Handbook may suit a spirit-fused fighter, consider these two unique ancestry options from Obojima that complement this subclass:

    1. Red Dara – Offers the creation of magical talismans, enhancing your ability to resist effects during battle.
    2. Nakudama – Amphibious creatures that excel in swimming and jumping, useful for combat maneuvers and bringing foes within reach.

Best Backgrounds for a Spirit-Fused Fighter

Different backgrounds in the Obojima setting and those in the 2024 Player’s Handbook serve distinct functions. However, the following two backgrounds work exceptionally well for spirit-fused fighters:

    1. Artisan – This background increases your Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence, all important for your fighter skills. Plus, it grants the Crafter feat.
    2. Spirit Kin – Unique to Obojima, this background enhances the roleplaying aspects by allowing you to converse with spirits in the Spirit Realm.

Note: Backgrounds in the Obojima setting grant skill proficiencies, differing from the Ability Score adjustments in the 2024 Player’s Handbook. Discuss these differences with your DM for a balanced experience.

By understanding these key elements, you’ll be well-prepared to create a compelling and powerful spirit-fused fighter in your Dungeons & Dragons adventures.

  • Completing Plot Hooks for Your DND Campaign: A Solving Guide

Completing Plot Hooks for Your DND Campaign: A Solving Guide

Crafting an engaging adventure hook is crucial for capturing your players’ interest in any exciting Dungeons & Dragons campaign. Although your campaign might have larger story arcs, having enticing hooks for each individual adventure keeps the excitement alive and your players engaged.

So, how do you design the most captivating adventure hooks and storylines? From creating intriguing NPCs to defining their motivations, there are several factors to consider in order to truly grab the attention of your players. Here are some tips for crafting impactful adventure hooks.

    What Is An Adventure Hook?

In simple terms, an adventure hook is a narrative element that captures your players’ attention, encouraging them to dive into the adventure and earn rewards. Here are a few examples of effective adventure hooks:

    1. A noble enlists the party to look into a rival merchant.
    2. The town’s wizard has mysteriously vanished and needs to be found.
    3. An ally of the party has been cursed, and the group must concoct a remedy.

These hooks introduce the central conflict of the quest and establish important stakes, both essential for creating compelling adventure hooks.

How To Create An Adventure Hook

While a basic adventure hook may seem straightforward, developing a truly compelling adventure hook involves several key elements. Here’s a guide to help you create an adventure hook that resonates with your players:

Not every detail in the table above needs to be fully explained to the party when you present the adventure hook.

However, having a solid grasp of these elements will help you effectively convey the adventure and make it intriguing.

Subverting expectations is a vital aspect of any adventure hook and can enhance the overall experience.

For example, you might introduce a quest through a job posting at a mercenary guild, but what if it turns out the guild is corrupt and has ulterior motives?

    Introduction

Introductions are a crucial element in establishing a compelling adventure hook; think of this as the elevator pitch for the quest. You need to swiftly and efficiently engage the party.

Here’s how to craft an effective introduction:

    1. Choose The Quest Source – Is the quest provided by an NPC? Is it a clear issue, like a dragon attacking the town?
    2. Allow Players To Respond – Depending on the quest, give players a chance to accept or decline the mission before embarking on the adventure.

    NPCs

Next, clarify which NPCs play a role in the quest. Are they familiar faces, or new characters?

Here are some examples of integrating NPCs into your adventure hook:

    Adventure Hook

    NPC Thread

A merchant has been kidnapped by bandits.

The merchant owns a local magic shop that the party often visits.

A child has vanished from the city streets.

The child belongs to a helpful mage allied with the party, who is eager to find their child.

A Beholder is wreaking havoc in a small town.

This town is not only home to a party member but also to their entire family.

By incorporating familiar NPCs into the adventure hook, you can motivate party members to take action.

Of course, new NPCs can also be introduced in adventure hooks, but ensure that they are intriguing enough to entice the party’s interest.

    Goal

Ensure the goal of the adventure is clear, as it clarifies what the party needs to accomplish. If the task sounds enjoyable, it creates a more inviting adventure hook.

Here are some examples of captivating goals for an adventure hook:

    • The party must enter a gladiator tournament to win favor with a king.
    • The party must decipher a code to join a criminal organization.
    • The party must plan a heist and infiltrate a corrupt merchant guild.

All of these objectives are enticing, potentially boosting players’ interest in pursuing the adventure.

    Conflict

Introducing conflict within the adventure hook is important because it lets players know if they’re up for the challenge. This element also heightens the stakes of the mission.

Let’s take the goals listed earlier and introduce conflicts to enhance their intrigue:

    • The party must compete in a gladiator tournament to impress a king, but they face off against a renowned adventurers’ team.
    • The party attempts to decode a cipher for access to a criminal syndicate, but the code’s symbols can only be seen under the cover of night.
    • The party needs to execute a heist and infiltrate a corrupt merchant guild, but they only have three hours before getting caught.

Adding these obstacles and conflicts creates a dynamic interplay, making the adventure more engaging and rewarding for players.

    Stakes

Once you’ve established the conflict, it’s important to communicate the stakes in case of failure.

This element adds emotional weight to the adventure hook, motivating good-aligned parties to engage wholeheartedly in the quest.

Let’s use our previous examples and outline their stakes:

    Adventure Example

    Stakes

    Gladiator Tournament

If unsuccessful, the party will not gain the king’s support, jeopardizing their larger quest.

    Decoding The Cipher

If they fail, the underworld will target them for assassination.

    Merchant Guild Heist

Failure could lead to a coup by the corrupt guild, making the city unsafe for the party.

Remember that establishing stakes is crucial because it shows players that their decisions matter, which is vital for any Dungeons & Dragons campaign.

    Rewards

While rewards are always significant, they become particularly crucial if your players are more motivated by material gain than noble pursuits.

If your party prefers upfront payments or loot, make the benefits clear so their enthusiasm for the adventure remains strong.

Here are some examples of enticing rewards to offer players as part of an adventure hook:

    • Treasure – Coins, gems, and various valuable items.
    • Magic Items – Potent artifacts for both casters and non-casters.
    • Weapons & Equipment – Enhanced gear that boosts the party’s capability.

Though rewards can be generalized, specific items that hold significance for the party or an individual character can be even more impactful.

For instance, a character’s family heirloom could serve as a reward, creating a meaningful connection to the adventure.

  • Completing AI Emotes in InZoi: Your Guide to Solving It

Are you ready to bring your Zoi to life like never before? In InZoi, it’s all about unleashing your creativity. Creating emotes is a fun way to inject some personality into your gameplay and give your Zoi a unique touch.

Whether you want to upload a still image for a cool pose or explore animations with a video, this guide will show you easy steps to prepare your custom emotes. Get ready to enhance your Zoi’s appearance.

How to Create an AI Emote

To start, open the game and click on your Zoi. Scroll down to find the ‘AI Motion’ option. Hover over it and select ‘Make AI Emote.’ You’ll have two methods to create your emote: uploading an image for a still pose or uploading a video for an animated emote.

    Image

If you opt for an image upload, the AI will create a still emote based on that photo. Make sure the image is a full-body shot of one person, taken from the front and free of distractions. This helps the AI accurately analyze the subject. A clear, high-quality image works best, and you should use formats like .png or .jpg.

When searching for reference images, try using terms like ‘Full Body Pose’ on Pinterest for solid options. Upload your selected image, let the AI work its magic, and once you’re happy with the created emote, click save to name and save the emote.

Keep in mind that the AI might have difficulty interpreting detailed hand movements, so complex gestures like peace signs or clenched fists may not come out as expected.

    Video

If you’re going for animated emotes, you’ll need to upload a video. Supported formats include .MP4, .AVI, and .MOV. The video should show one person in a full-body shot with a stationary camera to ensure accurate motion capture. After you upload the video, click save to name and store the animated emote.

For the best outcome, consider looking for short clips of Fortnite emotes on YouTube, as these often work well with the AI’s features.

How to Perform an AI Emote

Once your AI emote is saved, performing it in the game is a breeze. Just click on your Zoi, go to ‘AI Motion,’ and select the emote you created. Your character will then carry out the movement or pose you designed.

  • Crafting Unique Combat Scenarios for DnD Adventures

Crafting Unique Combat Scenarios for DnD Adventures

Combat is an exciting highlight of any Dungeons & Dragons session. However, when players become weary of the same combat scenarios, it’s crucial for a Dungeon Master (DM) to introduce fresh elements. While battling monsters for experience points is thrilling, breaking the mold can lead to a more engaging and dynamic experience.

One effective strategy is to implement unconventional combat objectives. Players often assume the primary goal of a battle is to eliminate their foes. To enhance their experience and prompt creative thinking, you might alter the encounter’s objective, encouraging players to utilize a range of skills beyond just fighting.

How to Disrupt the Expectation of Violence

The first step in designing a unique combat scenario is to remove the default option of violence. Traditional gameplay often centers around defeating enemies, but by shifting this focus, your players will approach encounters in new and exciting ways.

Next, consider alternative objectives that can drive the encounter. These can incorporate elements of combat while compelling players to use different tactics. Here are some potential objectives:

    • Recovering a stolen item or magical artifact.
    • Rescuing a captured NPC or ally.
    • Neutralizing a powerful magical device.
    • Stopping a dark ritual from occurring.
    • Stealing crucial information or blueprints.

You can select from these examples or devise your own inventive goals. The aim is to push players to utilize their broader skill set rather than resort to attack as their first recourse.

    Linking Objectives to Your Story

Whatever non-combat objective you create, it’s advantageous to connect it to the overarching narrative of your campaign. This alignment not only strengthens the immersion but also enriches the combat experience.

If you’re using a Campaign Journal, refer to your Campaign Conflicts sheet. Ensure that each combat scenario ties back to a significant story conflict, as outlined in the Dungeon Master’s Guide.

For instance, if a goal involves “retrieving a magical artifact,” ensure that this item holds importance to a player’s background, adding emotional weight to the task. The character might discover that it’s a long-lost heirloom crucial for their family legacy.

    Creating Surprises for Players

The element of surprise can significantly enhance your sessions. After establishing a non-traditional combat objective and embedding it into your campaign narrative, think about creative ways to reveal these objectives to your players. It’s typically more engaging to show rather than directly tell; offering hints and clues during the encounter can create a more rewarding experience.

To introduce the unexpected nature of your combat goals, you can subtly lead players to discover these objectives as the fight unfolds. For instance, after several turns of battle, an enemy might activate a magical machine, unveiling the true nature of the conflict.

    Incorporating Twists and Stakes

Adding twists and stakes to your combat encounters is key to keeping your players on their toes. Incorporate various challenges like time limits, unexpected reinforcements, or evolving environmental hazards. Avoid allowing straightforward combat solutions, as these can diminish the thrill and complexity of the scenario.

In summary, here’s a concise guide on how to create engaging and unconventional combat encounters:

    1. Choose an Unconventional Objective – Prioritize creative problem-solving over violence.
    2. Connect This Objective to the Narrative – Ensure the goal resonates with your players’ backstories or larger party objectives.
    3. Introduce Surprises – Gradually reveal the unique nature of the objective during combat.
    4. Incorporate Twists and Stakes – Use time limits or other complications to maintain tension and challenge.

With these strategies, you can craft memorable combat scenarios that will keep your players engaged and excited, enhancing both the gameplay and storytelling elements of your campaign.

  • Crafting Adventures with the 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide for D&D

Crafting Adventures with the 2024 Dungeon Master’s Guide for D&D

In 2024, the latest Dungeon Master’s Guide introduced new resources that significantly simplify hosting Dungeons & Dragons games. However, the hefty size of the book can be overwhelming for newcomers. Crafting an original adventure combines the skills of a storyteller with the quick thinking and social abilities of a Dungeon Master (DM).

Some aspects of this experience may be challenging to prepare for, and you might not recognize what needs attention until you’ve faced it at least once. This challenge is amplified when you’re designing original content in place of a pre-made module. Here are some helpful insights for creating captivating adventures.

    Understand Your Players First

A successful adventure should resonate with your players and their characters. This requires you to gain insight into their expectations and desires before moving past the initial draft.

Using a player motivations tracker sheet can be a beneficial starting point. It focuses on what players aim to achieve from the game and fosters excitement. Leverage this tool to pinpoint narrative and mechanical elements that will engage your players.

Another handy tool is the game expectations tracker. This not only helps you understand players’ limits but also clarifies the themes they want to explore, as well as the expectations they have for you and other players.

If you’re running a public game where you can’t connect with players in advance, prepare an elevator pitch that summarizes the game’s allure and your intended style. Be transparent about any potentially sensitive topics that may arise during gameplay.

Select a Setting That Enhances Your Adventure

Dungeons & Dragons features a vast multiverse, allowing stories to unfold in dramatically different settings, each facilitating unique narratives.

The Dungeon Master’s Guide provides ample notes on commonly used settings, especially Greyhawk. While these can serve as a solid foundation, don’t hesitate to explore other sources or deviate from the norm if your adventure calls for a different fantasy direction.

    • For a series of adventures in varied locations, Spelljammer supports a travel-themed adventure across disconnected worlds.
    • Eberron fits well into a steampunk-like narrative, emphasizing conflicts driven by magical and technological advancements.
    • The Forgotten Realms is the default setting with classes, magical items, and deities that work best without additional effort.

On a more localized level, consider relevant locations. Utilizing location sheets can guide you, even during improvisational moments. Often, a defining characteristic, a local leader, and a current crisis are enough to create a cohesive location for players to explore.

Define the Scope of Your Adventure

A well-crafted adventure can function independently or easily weave into a larger campaign, depending on your players’ responses and your intentions. It’s crucial to determine the adventure’s scope early on and decide if you want to extend the story beyond the current narrative.

    • If you plan to continue the tale, leave room for growth by leaving questions unanswered, even if you know the answers yourself.
    • If the game is a standalone experience, devise a way to ensure the conclusion is satisfying. If the characters won’t be revisited, think of methods to provide a sense of closure in their stories.

    Pick a Conflict

All adventures incorporate themes related to their setting and characters. You don’t need to delve into complex moral quandaries or political intrigues; even straightforward quests, like slaying a dragon, can have clear motives.

Utilizing a conflict tracker can help clarify the stakes. Will your players be up against an established faction, the forces of nature, or facing foes tied to their own history? An adventure can include multiple conflicts that influence each other, such as racing against a rival group of adventurers to defeat a dragon.

    Plan Your Treasure

The new magic item tracker in the guide allows for simplified management of loot distribution. However, it’s still wise to plan how to distribute items gradually. The tracker operates in four level bands, but avoid overwhelming your party with multiple magic items upon reaching level four.

Consider integrating magic items into the natural flow of exploration. A magic sword can be claimed from a defeated foe, or new students at Strixhaven could be presented with enchanted plush mascots.

Remember to be somewhat generous with loot, as not all players will explore every nook and cranny. Track items as they appear and adjust dynamically if players display unexpected curiosity.

    Map Out Encounters

The Dungeon Master’s Guide suggests the average group can tackle three tasks per hour, including social interactions, puzzles, or simple combat scenarios. This guideline can inform how much content you should prepare according to your game time.

Including flexibility in your encounter planning is essential. Players might bypass a planned encounter or struggle with a puzzle you anticipated they’d solve quickly. The guide categorizes encounters into "certain," "likely," and "unlikely," based on how often they may occur.

You can also classify encounters as fixed, modular, or optional based on how you employ them during the session.

    Here’s a guideline for a three-hour game session:

    • Fixed Encounters: 2-3 encounters (these should be carefully prepared and are likely pivotal to the story).
    • Modular Encounters: 3-5 encounters (these can be inserted at various points and are adaptable).
    • Optional Encounters: Around 3 (these enhance player experience but can be omitted without affecting the main story).

In conclusion, make sure to prioritize your time when preparing encounters. Flesh out the fixed encounters thoroughly, and create succinct notes for modular and optional encounters to allow for improvisation as needed. Most sessions typically allow for one significant combat encounter and one or two minor skirmishes.

  • Crafting Battle Buddy Variants in Farmagia

Crafting Battle Buddy Variants in Farmagia

In Farmagia, you can develop powerful Battle Buddy Subspecies to assist you in tackling later bosses. The initial Battle Buddies you receive are weaker and won’t hold up in tougher battles, so it’s essential to focus on creating their stronger evolved forms.

To create new Battle Buddy Subspecies, you will need to gather a significant amount of Research Points and collect various materials dropped by monsters. The final component you’ll need is the Evolution Aid Fertilizer, which you can craft and apply to the Buddies on your farm. While this process takes time, the result will be an exciting group of new allies ready for battle.

How to Create Battle Buddy Subspecies

If you’re looking for more powerful versions of your Battle Buddies, it’s essential to start creating some subspecies. However, you’ll need to collect the necessary materials to evolve your Buddies, which can be found while exploring different Mazes across various lands in Felicidad.

Before starting the cultivation of the evolved forms, make sure you have unlocked the Battle Buddy Subspecies you want in your Research Notes.

Later on in the game, you will gain access to Super Evolution Aid and Mega Evolution Aid for crafting even stronger Battle Buddy Subspecies.

How to Unlock Evolution Aid Fertilizer

The Evolution Aid Fertilizer is crucial for developing Subspecies of your Battle Buddies. You can unlock it in the Research Notes after gathering enough Research Points by harvesting Research Buddies. Once that’s done, head over to the Magic Shop in town to craft the Evolution Aid Fertilizers.

Keep in mind that Evolution Aid Fertilizers cannot be purchased; you must create them using one leaf mold clay and one Puckery Peach.

    Growing Battle Buddy Subspecies

The player has selected the evolution aid fertilizer in the farm bag to evolve arkie into baron arkie.

Once you have the Evolution Aid Fertilizers ready, it’s time to return to your farm. Plant the seeds of the Battle Buddy you wish to evolve. Place the fertilizer in your Farm Bag and ensure it’s selected so you can apply it to your Battle Buddy.

Your Battle Buddy will take a bit longer to grow, but once they mature, you will have successfully created a Battle Buddy Subspecies ready for action.
