How to Complete Cartridges and Modules in NTE Using Solving Skills

Players experienced with gacha games like Neverness To Everness know that building a character involves more than just obtaining them and their signature weapon. Each character’s development includes various components that need attention. You can’t expect a character to perform well immediately after acquiring it; upgrades and console enhancements are essential.

At first glance, the console system might seem complex due to its cartridge and module parts. However, once you understand what these components are and how they work together, you’ll see that the system is quite straightforward and maybe even better than other games.

    Cartridges and Modules Explained

When working on a character’s console, focus on two main parts: cartridges and modules. Here’s how they differ:

    • Cartridges are the foundation of your console. They determine the buffs your character will receive when certain set effects activate. They are also the only console parts that come with a dedicated main attribute for the character instead of just attack (ATK) and health points (HP).

    • Modules are components that can be shared across all characters since they all have ATK and HP as main stats. The sub-attributes of each module, however, influence which character they are best suited for.

Together, these components trigger what’s called a Cartridge Upgrade. This system works by providing specific buffs if your console contains two or four particular types of modules along with the cartridge. As you progress to endgame, your goal is to equip each character with the best cartridge and the right modules to activate their buffs.

Once you have the correct modules in place, fill the remaining spots in your console with other modules, ideally using every space to maximize your stats.

    How to Get Cartridges

Since cartridges are vital to each character’s kit, they’re mainly farmed using a shared resource called Character Pixel. While you can sometimes obtain cartridges from quests or other gameplay activities, these sources usually don’t provide enough for your needs.

To find the locations where you can farm cartridges, head to the Exploration Guide and look at the fourth section on the left. Here, you’ll see a category labeled “console.” Clicking “Go” on any cartridge type will take you directly to the domain where you can farm them.

Note: When you farm a domain, there’s a random chance to obtain cartridges from the featured sets. Even if you get the right cartridge, its main and sub-attributes are randomized each time you acquire it. The ultimate goal is to farm until you find cartridges with perfect attributes for each character. Afterward, you can upgrade them using other cartridges, modules, or specific materials.

    How to Get Modules

Modules are a bit trickier, as they share a larger pool of options across the game, making farming for them less straightforward. You’ll need to use the rewind feature, accessible from the console menu or each character’s individual console screen.

Within the rewind system, you can spend different rarities of the resource called Carrota to attempt pulls at modules, with varying difficulty levels. The first difficulty provides completely random modules, while higher difficulties let you choose from a pool of eight modules, which slightly increases the cost of each pull.

Tip: It’s generally not worth spending your Character Pixel on cartridge or module farming unless you can obtain rare (gold) rarity items from your attempts.

When you get a module with sub-attributes you prefer, you can enhance it using the same upgrade materials as cartridges. Your main objective in this system is to approach the ideal stats for each character by carefully selecting and upgrading their cartridges and modules.

  • How to Complete All Three Missile Components for Gigi in Borderlands 4

How to Complete All Three Missile Components for Gigi in Borderlands 4

Everyone has something they want to do, feel they need to do, or a goal they want to reach. For Gigi, a unique character in Borderlands 4, her goal is to find out if she can explode — to see if she’s more than just a dud.

Don’t worry too much about Gigi at first. She’s actually a sentient missile computer. Things went wrong a while ago, and unlike other missiles, she didn’t explode. She’s looking for a friend and some guidance. Luckily, a Vault Hunter drops into Kairos who can understand her and help her achieve her goal.

How to Start the “Ready to Blow” Mission

This side mission begins by interacting with an Echo Log on the counter inside the store area in The Launchpad faction town. Completing this gives you access to the safe house and your first Digistruct vehicle, which makes traveling much easier. To unlock it, finish the “Down And Outbound” quest.

After listening to Gigi’s message, travel all the way to the southeastern side of Kairos, specifically to the Idolator’s Noose region, then to a small town southeast of the Watershed Gate.

In the middle of this town, you’ll find Gigi, a missile computer inside a broken missile. You can talk to her to start progressing in the quest. Head up the stairs to the shop on the hill and speak with Scrapper Orts to get the missile launch system — the first part Gigi needs.

How to Find the Missile Components

Take the broken wooden bridge southwest and use your Grapple on nearby points along the walls for a shortcut. Use your Grapple to rip the door off a vent nearby — inside, you’ll find the first missile component.

Next, grapple up to the next ridge where much of the wreckage is. Defeat the Manglers that attack you. The second component is on the back of a huge engine; press the highlighted button on the console below it, and the component will drop onto the ground.

The third component is in the wreckage area but further up the nearby ledge and around the corner. When approaching the debris, several Manglers will spawn, including a Badass Mangler. Defeating this enemy is essential, as he will drop the last missile part.

How to Build Gigi’s New Missile

Return to Gigi and speak with her again. Pick her up and head north toward the Deep Seven Silo near the town. Bring her to the ridge to the left of it, where you’ll find a large tree trunk next to some ammo crates and a console to place Gigi.

Be aware that the area might be filled with Order enemies or Manglers unless you recently cleared it out. You can put Gigi down to fight and then pick her up again without losing progress.

Place the launch system on the table against the tree trunk, and use the three missile components to assemble the missile on the circular platform. Then, put Gigi into the empty part of the missile.

As soon as you activate the launch sequence, the Order forces will attack. They’ll come in waves, with the first three waves including at least one Badass Armature. The remaining enemies will be regular Order foes like Wardens, Witnesses, and Engines.

Once all enemies are defeated, launch the missile to complete the mission. As a reward for helping Gigi, you’ll earn experience points, 2,000 cash, an Uncommon or Epic shield, some Eridium, and the Taste Munitions style for your Vault Hunter and Echo.

Completing New Backpack Components in Death Stranding 2

In Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Sam’s backpack is more than just a cargo carrier; it’s his lifeline, alongside baby Lou. With various items, weapons, and tools at his disposal, the backpack remains a steadfast companion on his mission to connect Australia and Mexico to the Chiral Network. So, it’s only fitting that Sam can personalize it.

Sam’s backpack serves a purpose beyond just carrying items. You can customize it to suit your style, adding different components for new features. Here’s a straightforward guide on how to do it.

    How to Customize Your Backpack

Customizing your backpack is easy. It can only be done in Sam’s private room. Once there, just check out the backpack on the wall and press ‘Square’ to access the customization menu.

Here, you can change the color of your backpack, decide where to place various patches, and create new components. Keep in mind that your backpack has limited space, so be selective about what you add.

How to Unlock New Backpack Colors

Your first customization option is changing the backpack’s color. While this doesn’t affect visibility like Sam’s outfit camo does, having a visually appealing backpack is still worthwhile since you’ll be seeing it throughout the game.

The color change is free and doesn’t require any materials or Chiral Crystals. Initially, your choices are limited, but each new connection level you achieve with The Artist prepper will unlock additional colors.

These colors can also be used for Sam’s outfit, BB’s pod, and Dollman’s suit.

  • Consumer Spending: 67% of U.S. GDP Growth in 2024

Consumer Spending: 67% of U.S. GDP Growth in 2024

Understanding the Importance of Consumer Spending in the U.S. Economy

Consumer spending plays a critical role in shaping the dynamics of the U.S. economy. The latest retail sales report signaled a modest rebound from the sales slump seen in January, sparking a sense of relief among investors. This highlights the importance of consumer expenditure as a pillar of economic stability and growth.

The Connection Between Consumer Spending and GDP

Personal consumption expenditures (PCE) represent a substantial portion of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the United States, accounting for over two-thirds of total GDP. This immense share underscores the vital role that consumer behavior plays in driving the economy. In fact, consumer spending has been the dominant force in economic growth in recent years, contributing significantly to GDP increases in 2022, 2023, and projected contributions for 2024.

    Historical Contributions of Consumer Spending

    • 2022: Consumer spending contributed approximately 82% of real GDP growth.
    • 2023: Contribution was noted at around 59%.
    • 2024: A recovery is projected, bringing the contribution back to approximately 67%.

    Breakdown of Personal Consumption Expenditures

In 2024, personal consumption expenditures are projected to reach an impressive $19.8 trillion. This figure illustrates a year-over-year increase of 2.8%, when adjusted for inflation. Understanding the composition of these expenditures sheds light on consumer behavior and trends in spending.

    Composition of Consumer Spending

    • Goods: Roughly 30% of PCE is directed towards the consumption of goods. These include durable goods, nondurable goods, and food.
    • Services: The remaining 70% focuses on services, which encompass a wide array of sectors, from healthcare to entertainment.

    Growth Rates: Comparative Analysis

While personal consumption expenditures grew by 2.8%, other components of GDP such as private investment and government spending demonstrated slightly faster growth rates, at 4.0% and 3.4%, respectively. It’s important to consider, however, that despite these faster growth rates for investment and government spending, their overall contribution to GDP is dwarfed by that of consumer spending due to their smaller proportion in the overall economic framework.

    Impact on Overall GDP Growth

The contributions of various components to GDP growth in recent years emphasize the superior influence of consumer spending:

    • Consumer Spending: Contributed 1.87 percentage points, which translates to a whopping 67% of the overall GDP growth rate of 2.8% in the most recent reporting period.
    • Gross Private Investment: Contributed 0.73 percentage points.
    • Government Spending: Accounted for 0.57 percentage points.
    • Net Exports: Interestingly, net exports negatively impacted the overall GDP growth due to a rising trade deficit.

Consumer Spending Trends and Economic Implications

The influence of consumer spending on GDP is not merely a statistic; it has real implications for policymakers, businesses, and the economy at large. In times of economic uncertainty, signals of strong consumer spending can mitigate recession fears and bolster economic confidence.

Given that consumer spending is a significant driver of economic activity, monitoring trends in this sector is crucial for understanding the health and trajectory of the U.S. economy. With continued growth in consumer expenditure, businesses may find renewed opportunities for expansion, while policymakers need to consider how to sustain and encourage this pivotal component of economic growth.

Understanding these shifts not only provides insights into military capabilities but also reflects broader strategic interests among nations.

  • Next-Gen Laptops Might Feature Odd Component Combinations

Next-Gen Laptops Might Feature Odd Component Combinations

The anticipation for CES 2025 is palpable among gaming enthusiasts. In addition to the expected launch of Nvidia’s RTX 50-series graphics cards, many are eager to see the introduction of cutting-edge gaming laptops. However, recent leaks suggest that while some new gaming laptops will be showcased, they may not represent a significant upgrade in all aspects. It appears that many of these devices could prioritize the latest GPUs while relying on older CPU models.

With Intel planning to roll out its Arrow Lake laptop chips and AMD working on the Ryzen AI 300 Max early next year, expectations for powerful new laptops at CES 2025 are high. Yet, a Weibo user named Golden Pig Upgrade Pack presents a contrasting perspective. This insight was first reported by VideoCardz, and while this source has historically provided reliable hardware leaks, it’s prudent to approach this information with caution.

The leaker indicates that while we might mostly see laptops featuring Nvidia’s RTX 50-series, even high-end models might opt for older laptop CPUs. Specifically, this could include options such as Intel’s Raptor Lake refresh or AMD’s Zen 4 under the Ryzen 8000 branding, highlighting chips like the Core i7-14650HX and AMD’s Zen 4 architecture.

This would certainly be an unexpected development. With both AMD and Intel poised to unveil their next-generation laptop processors at CES 2025, it would seem logical for laptop manufacturers to pair these new processors with Nvidia’s latest graphics cards. There may be various reasons behind this decision-making.

    Jacob Roach / Digital Trends

One factor to consider is that the current generation of desktop CPUs has generally been viewed as underwhelming. If laptop counterparts don’t deliver significant generational improvements, manufacturers might not feel compelled to incorporate the latest models into their offerings. Additionally, the cost of these new chips could be a driving factor behind this strategy.

Moreover, the plethora of recent laptop CPU releases creates a complex landscape for manufacturers. With many options from AMD and Intel, including the recent Lunar Lake, Meteor Lake, and Raptor Lake refresh, manufacturers might choose to focus on enhancing performance through the latest GPUs while opting to use established CPU technology to save on costs.

Timing might also play a crucial role in these decisions. If hardware releases don’t coincide perfectly, we may witness lower-tier CPUs paired with next-gen GPUs now, while the more powerful combinations might emerge later in the year. CES 2025, taking place in January, should provide clarity on these developments.
