    In a story as dark and somber as Reanimal, a horror adventure game developed by the original creators of Little Nightmares, there are a few things that might upset you. However, if you’re able to handle the emotional strain, opening the coffins you find in Reanimal is the key to discovering the game’s hidden ending.

    To do this, you’ll need to look for various paths and platforms that lead you away from the main story, in order to hunt down coffins. Tracking down these coffins is challenging but essential if you want to unlock Reanimal’s secret ending.

    Find Five Coffins To Unlock Reanimal’s Secret Ending

    As you play, you’ll notice several coffins scattered throughout the game’s nine chapters. These coffins are all located off the main path, requiring you to explore thoroughly and piece together clues. When you find and open each coffin, a ghostly child’s spirit appears and is then suddenly killed in a gruesome manner. Collecting all five coffins in a single playthrough will unlock the secret ending of the game.

    Important: You must find all five coffins in one run to access this special ending. If you miss any, you’ll see the standard ending, but you’ll get hints for where the coffins are on your next playthrough.

    Dead in the Water The Rail Yard After rebuilding the rail cart and escaping with the orphans, stop before the cliff leading into the train yard. Follow the broken rail to the right, go through the open door in the last train car, and walk through to see the coffin inside the train.
    After the Flood The Hotel Basement When you get the harpoon outside the hotel, destroy the nearby naval mines to clear a path. Dock the boat and go through the circular light to reach the basement. Use the stairs to descend to a lower platform where the coffin is located.
    No Shelter Near the Pit to Sand City In a room with petrified children lowering a friend into the pit, eliminate all three children. Before raising your friend, move to the left wall to find a hidden room with a platform. The coffin is here.
    No One Left Behind In a Small Cave Use your canon to kill the sea monster. Before proceeding, explore the small cave nearby. On a small beach inside the cave, you’ll find the coffin after dealing with the body attack.
    The Spoils In the Military Hospital During the part with the corridor of soldiers, watch for an explosion that creates a hole in the wall. Enter through the gap, go down the ladder, and you’ll find the final coffin here, unlocking the secret ending.

    Once all the coffins are collected, completing the game will reward you with the secret ending and the achievement titled “Friends Reunited.”

    Employees at a temple in Thailand were stunned when a 65-year-old woman was discovered alive inside her coffin moments before her scheduled cremation.

    The incident occurred at Wat Rat Prakhong Tham, a Buddhist temple in Nonthaburi province near Bangkok. Staff heard a faint knocking and saw slight movement inside the coffin. When they opened it, they found the woman opening her eyes and moving her arms.

    The woman’s brother, who traveled from Phitsanulok—about 500 kilometers away—brought her to the temple. According to Pairat Soodthoop, the temple’s general and financial manager, the man’s sister had been bedridden for two years and recently lost consciousness, appearing to have stopped breathing two days earlier.

    The brother sought hospital assistance but was turned away due to the absence of an official death certificate. He then asked the temple to perform a free cremation, but was again told that the necessary documentation was missing. During a discussion about obtaining the certificate, staff heard knocking from within the coffin. The woman was promptly examined and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
