Digital Phablet – The filming of the mini-series “Kalbimin Rotası Karadeniz” (The Route of My Heart is the Black Sea) has commenced in Trabzon, Turkey. The series, starring Cemre Baysel and Mert Yazıcıoğlu, was developed by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) for its Go Turkey platform, aiming to showcase the region’s stunning natural landscapes, rich culture, and tourist attractions.
During production in Trabzon, Yazıcıoğlu and Baysel were seen together, capturing moments on set. The series, which started shooting on July 13, 2026, is expected to play a significant role in boosting awareness of the Black Sea region and increasing tourism across the country.
The series is penned by Emre Kavuk and helmed by director Hakan Kırvavaç. While visiting Trabzon, Baysel, who recently portrayed Zayneb in the series Güller ve Günahlar (Sins and Roses), shared several photos from Uzungöl, a picturesque spot in the area.
Initially, actor İlhan Şen was anticipated to play a leading role alongside Baysel, but he requested to step back from the project, according to Turkish journalist Birsen Altuntaş.
The production of this mini-series has garnered attention, with glimpses of the cast in action shared on social media, highlighting the project’s potential to promote Turkey’s diverse regions.
