    How to Change Pokémon Stats in Pokémon Champions Using Completing and Solving

    When you add Pokémon to your collection in Pokémon Champions—whether by recruiting them from Roster Ranch or transferring from Pokémon Home—they won’t be fully ready for battle right away. To prepare them, you need to train them, which involves choosing their moves, adjusting their stats, and setting their ability and nature.

    Even if you transferred a Pokémon from Pokémon Home and think it’s already optimized, it’s a good idea to review the training menu. Not every transfer is perfect, and some moves might have slightly different effects in Pokémon Champions. You might want to swap out certain moves for better options.

    Stat Points

    When opening the training menu, your first view is your Pokémon’s stats. These are the core stats you’ll see in all Pokémon games, including:

    • HP – How much damage your Pokémon can take before fainting.
    • Attack – The physical damage your Pokémon deals.
    • Defense – Its protection against physical attacks.
    • Special Attack – The damage dealt by special moves.
    • Special Defense – Its defense against special moves.
    • Speed – How quickly your Pokémon acts, determining who attacks first.

    In previous Pokémon games, these stats are influenced by IVs (Individual Values) and EVs (Effort Values). IVs are genetic and randomly assigned; they range from 0 to 31 per stat and are difficult to change except with Hyper Training using Bottle Caps in some games. They serve as your Pokémon’s genetic baseline.

    However, in Pokémon Champions, IVs don’t seem to be recognized or viewable. Since you’re not catching Pokémon here, all Pokémon are treated as having perfect IVs by default. This simplifies things, leaving EVs as the primary focus. EVs allow you to manually train your Pokémon’s stats, and you get a total of 66 points to allocate across different stats.

    Note: To modify EVs in the training menu, you need to spend VP (Victory Points), earned through battles or completing missions and battle pass objectives.

    Each stat can only receive up to 32 EV points, so you can’t concentrate all EVs into a single stat. A common approach is to max out EVs in either Attack or Special Attack, depending on your Pokémon’s role, then distribute the remaining points. Usually, players put 32 EVs into Speed and a few into HP, but this varies depending on the Pokémon. For support or defensive roles, investing in Defense or Special Defense might be better.

    If you’re unsure how to split EVs, you can use Battle Data—to see what strategies other players are using for the same Pokémon. Usually, pressing Y while customizing training will show you how others have allocated EVs for similar Pokémon.

    Remember, there’s no one best way. Align your EV distribution with your Pokémon’s moves and your team’s strategy. If your Pokémon is meant to support your team rather than deal damage, it might be better to focus on defensive EVs instead of boosting attack stats.

    Moves

    Moves are central to battle strategy. Each Pokémon can learn four moves, which may be damaging or non-damaging. Since move pools vary widely, it’s hard to give one-size-fits-all advice. What works for one Pokémon might not be suitable for another, even if they share similar moves.

    A few key points to remember:

    • Prioritize STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) moves, which get a damage boost when the move matches the Pokémon’s type. For example, a Grass-type Pokémon benefits from using Grass moves.
    • While STAB moves are essential, coverage moves that hit different types are also valuable.
    • Consider adding non-attack moves and status moves. Effects like poisoning or paralyzing opponents can turn the tide of battle.

    Accuracy is critical—high attack power is worthless if your move often misses. So, balance power with reliability. Before battles, review the move pool while considering how each move fits your strategy. You can always change moves later if needed.

    Stat Alignment (Natures)

    Stat Alignment, which functions like Natures in mainline Pokémon, provides a buff to one stat and a debuff to another. Only a few Neutral Natures are shown, but this is the same concept. Typically, you’ll want to boost either Attack or Special Attack and weaken the other, depending on your Pokémon’s role.

    Sometimes, boosting Speed or Defense can be more beneficial, especially if your Pokémon relies on those stats. In mainline games, Natures are changed with Mints, but in Pokémon Champions, you need to pay VP to modify your Pokémon’s Nature.

    When choosing your Nature, consider how you plan to use your Pokémon. Pick a Nature that maximizes its strengths and minimizes weaknesses. You can change it later if your strategy shifts—just keep enough VP available for adjustments.

    Ability

    Abilities are unique to each Pokémon and can greatly influence battles. Most Pokémon have one common Ability and possibly a Hidden Ability. In earlier games, Hidden Abilities were only obtainable through breeding or special events, but in Pokémon Champions, you can switch between them by paying VP.

    Your choice of Ability should be based on your planned strategy. Some Abilities boost specific stats, while others provide useful effects like healing or immunities. Once you decide on an Ability, you can focus your EV and Nature choices to support it.

    You can use the Replica Team feature to copy the exact setup of a Pokémon from another player if you need inspiration or want a specific build. After everything is set, don’t forget to pay the VP cost for your customizations. You can revisit and change any of these choices later, provided you have enough VP.

    Your training is complete once your Pokémon is optimized for battle, but remember—you can always go back, tweak its moves, stats, or Ability to better suit your evolving strategy.

    In Pokémon Champions, the term “Stat Alignment” is just another way of referring to Natures. If you’re familiar with Natures from previous Pokémon games, they represent how a Pokémon’s personality influences two of its six core stats.

    Since you don’t actually catch Pokémon yourself in Pokémon Champions, the game simplifies things by changing the name from Natures to Stat Alignments. They work the same way, affecting two stats—one gets a slight boost, and the other gets a slight reduction—without the need for special items like mints.

    What Are Stat Alignments?

    Stat Alignments are similar to Natures. They’re named as if they are personality types and influence two key stats, although they don’t relate to a Pokémon’s personality in the game. The six core stats impacted are:

    • HP: How much damage a Pokémon can take before fainting.
    • Attack: Damage output for physical attacks.
    • Special Attack: Damage output for special attacks.
    • Defense: Resistance against physical attacks.
    • Special Defense: Resistance against special attacks.
    • Speed: How quickly a Pokémon acts in battle; it determines attack order.

    Each Stat Alignment increases one stat slightly while decreasing another. There’s a unique Stat Alignment for every combination of boosted and lowered stats, except for five that are neutral and don’t change any stats.

    Popular options include Modest, which boosts Special Attack, and Adamant, which boosts Attack. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your strategy and what fits your Pokémon’s role.

    To see which Stat Alignments players are using most, you can check the battle data menu by selecting the option to change your Pokémon’s Stat Alignment and pressing “Y.” This will show the most popular choices and their usage percentages.

    Natures Not Included as Stat Alignments

    Not all Natures are represented. Four Natures are missing as separate Stat Alignments because the game only includes one neutral option, Serious, which effectively neutralizes all stats. The missing Natures are:

    • Quirky (↑ Special Defense, ↓ Special Defense)
    • Bashful (↑ Special Attack, ↓ Special Attack)
    • Docile (↑ Defense, ↓ Defense)
    • Hardy (↑ Speed, ↓ Speed), although in Pokémon Champions, Hardy appears swapped with Serious due to a game-specific glitch.

    Changing Stat Alignments

    Previously, changing a Pokémon’s Nature required items called Mints, which needed to match the Nature you wanted. In Pokémon Champions, this process is different and more flexible. Instead of items, you pay 500 Victory Points (VP) to change a Pokémon’s Stat Alignment in the training menu.

    While training, you’ll see the current Stat Alignment at the bottom of the screen. Selecting it will show a list of available options. Pick the desired one, and it will be set. When confirming, a red “500 VP” mark will appear next to the new Stat Alignment, indicating the change. Once done, you can proceed with training, and the Pokémon’s Stat Alignment will be updated accordingly.

    While playing Highguard, you’ll quickly become very familiar with your mount because you’ll use it frequently. The maps in the game are vast, so you’ll need a mount to help you cross large distances, chase down or escape from enemies, and reach key items like the Shieldbreaker before the opposing team does.

    There are several ways to upgrade your mount, but at the start, you choose from a few basic options designed to help you navigate each map. So, what mounts are available, how do they function, and when can you get new ones? Here’s what you need to know about mounts in Highguard.

    How to Change Your Mount

    Before a match begins, you can select which mount you want to ride. To do this, go to the Collection menu and select the Mount submenu. From there, you can choose the Bear, Panther, or Horse. Select your preferred mount and press the Equip button. Once equipped, a checkmark will appear next to your choice. When the game starts and you summon your mount, it will be the one you’ve selected.

    How to Use Mounts

    Once inside a game, you’ll start by fortifying your base and customizing your gear. After that, you’ll have a few minutes of preparation before the Shieldbreaker becomes accessible.

    During this prep time, you should mount up. To do so, double tap the mount button, and your chosen mount will appear beneath you. You can command your mount to run by using the run command. If you wish to dismiss your mount, press the dismiss button located in the lower right corner of the screen.

    Your mount has a health bar and a cooldown timer. The icon in the bottom right shows how to summon your mount, dismiss it, and also displays its current health status. If your mount gets destroyed, a cooldown timer will appear over the icon, indicating how long you’ll need to wait before being able to summon a new one.

    Upgrading Mounts with Saddles

    During gameplay, you’ll find Saddles that enhance your mount’s abilities. Saddles increase both health and speed, and higher rarity Saddles provide better performance. However, higher-tier Saddles cost more and are harder to obtain. You can find Saddles in chests scattered across the map, trade for them using resources you gather from resource nodes, or purchase them from the loadout menu after respawning following a death.

    The game starts you off with three basic mounts: the Horse, Panther, and Bear. You can unlock additional mounts such as the Eldergryph by purchasing them with Highguard Gold, which is only obtainable through real-money transactions.

    One of the main parts of cozy gaming is creating the cutest persona possible. This means shopping to keep the trendiest and coziest outfits in your wardrobe and making sure your hair looks just right so you’re prepared for the cozy tasks you need to do that day.

    When you first start Heartopia, you’ll be able to make some minor adjustments to your character’s look. A message will appear saying you can change your appearance later in the game. Not only will you get access to new clothes, but you’ll also unlock new hair styles and eye colors as you progress and unlock different features.

    How to Change Your Appearance

    When you begin the game, you’ll need to complete the tutorial until you reach the town and start interacting with shop owners. On your way to town, you’ll find a flyer on the ground after talking to an adorable kitten.

    Take this flyer to the clothing store and give it to Dorothee to unlock the “My New Clothes” quest. Follow her as she unpacks, and you’ll eventually be able to purchase new outfits from the shop. Continue this storyline, and you’ll also unlock the Dress-Up feature, which lets you change your clothes anytime.

    Once you accept and finish Dorothee’s Resident Request—after speaking with Atara—you’ll be able to change other aspects of your appearance, like hair, eye color, skin tone, eye shape, and more.

    You’ll receive a letter in the mail telling you that Dorothee updates the store daily, and now she’s free to focus on styling. This styling allows you to change your hair, eye color, skin tone, eye shape, hair style, and more. These changes can be made at any mirror, although you might not have your own mirror at first.

    Fortunately, you can go to the second floor of the shop and interact with a mirror there to change your appearance. Keep in mind, the interact option won’t appear until after you’ve completed the Resident Request and received the letter. Before that, going upstairs won’t trigger anything since you can’t interact with the mirror yet.

    How to Unlock New Hairstyles and Eye Colors

    Looking in the mirror, you’ll see more options for eye shapes, eye colors, hairstyles, beards, face makeup, eyebrows, and other features. To unlock these, you need to raise your D.G. Member level.

    As you increase your D.G. Member level, you’ll unlock new physical features. For example, at level six, you’ll gain access to new eye colors, pupils, hair styles, hair colors, eyebrows, beards, and face paint options.

    Some features will still be locked at level six, but you can unlock more options once you reach level ten. You can’t level up instantly because you can only earn a limited number of Contribution Medals each day, which slows down the leveling process. You’ll need to play for a few days to unlock all the available customization options.

    One interesting aspect is that, similar to Pokémon, each Digimon has its own personality. While these personalities don’t influence stats when leveling up like in Pokémon, they still have mechanical effects in the game — and you can change them at will!

    Digimon Personality Overview

    In Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, there are eight unique personality types that every Digimon will have. These personalities are important for managing DigiFarms.

    DigiFarms are digital storage spaces where you can interact with your Digimon by feeding them, setting training routines, or assigning tasks. Each DigiFarm has a leader Digimon. The personalities of both the DigiFarm’s leader and each Digimon impact the results of these activities.

    Here’s how personalities affect DigiFarm commands:

    Note: A Digimon can gain a total of half its ABI (Ability) plus 50 stat points through training. For example, a Digimon with 16 ABI could gain up to 58 stat points. Use this info along with Restraint Chips, which reduce trained stat gains, to build your Digimon just the way you want.

    How to Change a Digimon’s Personality

    You can modify a Digimon’s personality using special patches. These patches are most easily obtained by purchasing them at the Eden Entrance in Chapter Two, costing 2,500¥ each. They can also drop from enemies but are more affordable when bought.

    As you progress, more types of patches become available:

    • Chapter Two:

      • Development Patch (changes personality to Builder)
      • Searcher Patch (changes to Searcher)

    • Chapter Seven:

      • Durability Patch (Durable)
      • Lively Patch (Lively)
      • Fighter Patch (Fighter)

    • Chapter Twelve:

    Best Personalities for Your Digimon

    While personalities impact how your Digimon will gain stats from DigiFarm training, their main strategic role is to decide where the +100 bonus stat points are allocated at the end of training. A fully maxed Digimon can assign these points to only one stat: Attack, Defense, HP, Speed, or Intelligence.

    To optimize this, apply the appropriate personality patch (e.g., Fighter for Attack, Brainy for Intelligence, Nimble for Speed) before starting the final training phase. This ensures all +100 bonus points are dedicated to the stat that makes your Digimon most effective in its role.

    How to Change Your Character’s Appearance

    When you first start Dune: Awakening after the update, there won’t be any clear instructions on how to do this. Instead, you’ll need to find and complete the new contracts that will eventually guide you to the vendors who can alter your appearance.

    However, you can skip these contracts altogether if you know where to go. The vendors are straightforward to locate and are always in the same spots.

    There are two main vendors you can visit. One is in Arrakeen, and the other is in Harko Village.

    Note: Before visiting these NPCs, make sure you have at least 5,000 Solari to pay for the changes.

    Location of Dr. Shaffat in Arrakeen

    In Arrakeen, Dr. Shaffat’s clinic is situated near the Lansdraad Vendor in the southern part of the social hub. To find it, look in the direction opposite the vendor. You’ll see a hallway with stairs leading upward.

    Head up these stairs until you reach a large holographic head. From there, turn right to enter the clinic, where Dr. Shaffat is located. Inside, you’ll find the doctor roaming in the back of the clinic.

    Engage with Dr. Shaffat, and you’ll see several dialogue options. One of these options allows you to modify your appearance. You can change anything about your character’s look as long as you have enough Solari to pay for it.

    Location of Fleshshaper Phrakk in Harko Village

    In Harko Village, the other vendor is Fleshshaper Phraxx. This NPC offers the same services and is easier to find than the Arrakeen counterpart. He’s located toward the back of the village, behind the Guild Bank and near the Vehicle Vendor.

    A good way to spot his clinic is by looking for a floating holographic head just outside. To reach him, go to the back of the village and find a set of stairs next to the clinic. Head up these stairs, and you’ll arrive at the clinic.

    Interact with Phrakk, and you’ll be presented with dialogue options. Pick the one that lets you overhaul your appearance. Just like with Dr. Shaffat, you can change your look as much as you want, provided you can afford it.

    Note: These clinic locations won’t appear on your map immediately. As they are new, you’ll need to explore and discover these areas yourself to unlock access to the vendors.

    Unfortunately, you cannot remove hats; you can only swap them for another. When your dog is wearing a hat and you find a new one, just press X if you’re using PlayStation or A on Xbox when you’re close to your dog to change the hat.

    However, you might run into issues since the dog can wear two hats at once. If you try to put on another hat over one that’s already on, it could just stack on top, so you may need to find another new hat to replace the one currently on the dog.

    How to Change Your Appearance

    Since dating simulations heavily depend on your ability to connect with the story and its characters, it’s understandable that you would want your player character to look like you. Thankfully, the creators of Love And Deepspace have provided multiple ways for you to customize your main character.

    You can pick your name and appearance at the start of the game during the Unicorns Training, but you’ll need to wait until you’ve completed a few tutorial stages before you can make further adjustments to your avatar.

    When you’re ready to modify your avatar, head to your character profile located at the top left corner of the Destiny Cafe interface. Here, you’ll find the profile others can view.

    Below your profile picture is an icon of a woman’s head; click on this icon to access the appearance change menu. You’ll be able to modify your skin tone, hairstyle (but not its color), facial features, makeup, and eye color here.

    However, keep in mind that you cannot change your hair color or gender within this menu. Moreover, the selection of hairstyles is limited.

    You’ll need to use Evol Appearance Reset tickets to request changes to your appearance. These can be purchased in the shop for 300 Diamonds. Occasionally, they can also be earned during events or as gifts from the developers.

    You can buy hairstyles and outfits for use in combat mode and the photo booth later in the game. There is even an option to preview what your character would look like with their hair styled up.

    To enable this feature, click on the icon that depicts a woman with an updo hairstyle. The toggle will indicate whether it’s on or off. When activated, your character will temporarily have a ponytail, letting you see how she looks without her hair down.

    Additionally, Kindled Memories will reflect your character’s current appearance or “skin.” This means that the look you selected when completing the Kindled Memory will persist in all future viewings of that memory.

    To update your character’s appearance in completed Kindled Memories, enter your Profile, then access the settings again. Scroll to the last tab marked ‘Custom.’ This section allows you to change your Login Screen, Login Music, and update your Kindled Memory skins.

    The final option in the Custom menu is to renew your memory skin. Open the ‘Renew’ tab to see how many Kindled Memories you’ve completed with your previous skin. Click Renew to update all of those memories to show your character’s current appearance.

    If you encounter any issues with your new appearance displaying in Kindled Memories, you can click the ‘Fix All’ button at the top of the Renew menu. This will resolve any display issues stemming from changes made after a Kindled Memory was completed.

    At times, you may come across events that allow you to temporarily alter your appearance or that of your love interests during Kindled Memories, like in the Illusio event, where you can select outfits and accessories for characters before entering the memory.

    How to Customize Your Profile

    When you access the appearance change screen from your profile page, you’ll notice several customization options within your profile.

    You can set a banner image, profile picture, profile frame, title, and nickname from this menu. You are also able to showcase your favorite memories and photos.

    You can earn new profile frames, titles, title bases, and images through events and storyline progress.

    How to Change Your Voice

    Since much of the gameplay includes playable cutscenes, your character will frequently have interactions with other characters and the storyline. Some parts of the story feel like visual novels, while others feature fully animated scenes with voiced dialogue.

    Your character will have a voice in many of these segments. During character creation at the start of the game, you will get to customize the tone of your voice. Once you unlock your profile, you can adjust your voice by using Diamonds.

    Changing your voice costs 100 Diamonds. If you’re having trouble collecting enough Diamonds for customization options, use this guide for tips on how to earn them.

    To proceed, click on the sound wave icon displayed on your profile page. Here, you can adjust the sliders to create a personalized character voice. Use the voice lines at the bottom of the screen to test your voice.

    However, it’s important to note that to save your final adjustments, you’ll need to spend Diamonds; that means changing your voice isn’t inexpensive. It’s wise to be completely sure before applying any changes.

    Sound distortion may happen if you set the sliders to extreme positions!

    How to Turn Off Custom Voiceovers

    If you find your character’s voice distracting, you can choose to disable it during cutscenes. To do so, go to the settings icon located at the bottom right of your profile screen.

    The first tab on this screen is the Voice tab. The last toggle option lets you activate or deactivate your character’s voice. Feel free to change this setting whenever you wish, as long as you’re not in the middle of a cutscene.

    Keep in mind that exiting a cutscene midway will not save your progress for when you return.

    Using Your Real Voice

    Every now and then, you might get the chance to use your real voice to engage with the characters. Events like Zayne’s birthday celebration allow you to submit your own voice lines, such as singing him a birthday song.

    To enable this feature, ensure that Love And Deepspace has permission to access your microphone in your device settings.

    You cannot use your real voice in the Main Story; it’s only available when prompted during certain events.

    How to Change Your Outfits

    While you cannot change your outfits for the Main Story unless the scene specifically allows for it, you can alter and collect outfits in the Photo Booth and during combat levels.

    The Photo Booth

    In the Photo Booth, you can customize your character’s outfits, hairstyles, and accessories if you’ve unlocked those items. You can also apply these changes to your selected companion.

    During Snapshot photoshoots, you have the ability to change the appearance of both the MC and your chosen love interest after selecting your photo compositions and backgrounds.

    You can adjust your character’s makeup, eyes, outfits, accessories, and hair, but not your skin tone or facial features. For your love interest, you can modify his hair (if you’ve unlocked alternative hairstyles, such as the mullet from Tomorrow’s Catch-22), outfit, and accessories.

    Once you’ve settled on your love interest’s outfit, you must lock in your choice by recommending the set to him. Otherwise, your changes won’t be saved, and his outfit will revert to its previous style.

    You can change accessories at any time during your snapshots. To simplify this process within the ten-second timer, consider marking any accessories you think you might use as favorites so they appear at the top of your accessory menu.

    The Glint Photobooth operates somewhat differently from Snapshot. Since it has no timer, you can change your outfits, poses, hairstyles, makeup, and accessories whenever you like between shots.

    However, you still cannot adjust your character’s skin color or facial features from this menu; you’ll need an Evol Appearance Reset ticket for that.

    Some poses, like Duo or Active poses, can be modified for different effects. For example, poses with objects can allow you to swap the objects used. Duo poses can be separated, letting you choose one half of the pose rather than the entire two-character arrangement.

    If you design a pose or outfit that you love, you can save it as a Template for future use or share it with friends. If you admire someone else’s template and wish to use it, you can import it to your device.

    How to Change Appearance
