    A source revealed to US magazine People that the couple parted ways “quietly and amicably” several months ago. They took their time carefully evaluating their options before deciding to split,” the insider shared. “They remain friends and continue to be very supportive of each other.”

    The stars first crossed paths while filming the current film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wicked. BBC News has reached out to representatives of Grande and Slater for comment.

    The singer and actress, both aged 32, initially met Slater, 34, in 2023 during filming of a Wizard of Oz spin-off in the UK.

    Grande portrayed Glinda the Good Witch in both films, while Slater played Boq Woodsman, a character who later transforms into the Tin Man.

    After publicly confirming their relationship on Instagram in 2024, the couple appeared together at promotional events for Wicked and its upcoming sequel, Wicked: For Good.

    Grande launched her highly anticipated Eternal Sunshine tour last weekend, her first since 2019.
