Top ABR A1 Builds in Black Ops 6 for Completing and Solving

The classic AUG from previous Black Ops titles has returned in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, now called the ABR A1. This burst-fire bullpup assault rifle prioritizes ease of use over handling, with very low recoil and excellent range stats. Staying at medium distances will help you win most gunfights.

If you prefer the full-auto version of the AUG, you can easily upgrade this weapon to a fully automatic assault rifle that offers a quick killing time. Here, we will explore two top builds for the ABR A1—one for multiplayer matches and another optimized for Zombies.

    Multiplayer ABR A1 Build

Insert image of the build setup here

Attachment Pros and Cons Advanced Stats
    Compensator (Muzzle) Reduces vertical recoil
G-Grip (Underbarrel) Improves recoil control, enhances hipfire and ADS accuracy + Recoil stabilization, + Horizontal recoil control, + Hipfire to ADS accuracy
Extended Mag I (Magazine) Larger magazine to stay in fight longer
Quickdraw Riser (Stock) Faster aiming down sights
Rapid Fire (Fire Mod) Converts burst to full auto, increases fire rate + 38% fire rate, – 18% damage falloff, – 10% bullet velocity

The ABR A1 starts as a three-round burst gun, requiring headshots or two bursts to eliminate opponents. Adding the Rapid Fire attachment converts it into a full-auto rifle, significantly boosting damage output, especially over long distances—40 meters default range should suit most multiplayer maps.

Beyond the full-auto upgrade, the build emphasizes aggressive play. The Compensator helps control vertical recoil, while the G-Grip keeps recoil manageable and improves ADS accuracy. The Quickdraw Riser allows for instant aiming, and Extended Mag keeps reloading to a minimum.

    Loadout Tips

    • Perks: The ideal perk set includes Perk Greed wildcard with Scavenger and Flak Jacket in column one, Hunter’s Instinct in column two, and Slipstream in column three.
    • Equipment: Use Perk Greed for perks, and for lethal and tactical, choose what fits your playstyle—Stim is a strong tactical option. Field upgrades are also your choice.

Most multiplayer players will find the Enforcer perk useful, focusing on set bonuses rather than perk combinations. Slipstream boosts mobility, Scavenger keeps your ammo topped off after fights, and Hunter’s Instinct helps track opponents. For added survivability, Flak Jacket is recommended when using Perk Greed.

    Zombies ABR A1 Build

Insert image of the Zombies build here

Attachment Pros and Cons Advanced Stats
    Volzhskiy Reflex (Optic) Improves targeting
    Compensator (Muzzle) Recoil control
Long Barrel (Muzzle) Increases effective range and reduces damage falloff
Ranger Foregrip (Underbarrel) Stabilizes horizontal recoil, boosts sprint speed + Horizontal recoil control, + Sprint speed
Extended Mag II (Magazine) 60 rounds for extended combat longevity + Ammo capacity, +12% ADS speed, +15% reload speed
    Quickdraw Riser (Stock) Faster aiming
Infiltrator Pad (Stock) Greatly increases strafe speed while aiming
Rapid Fire (Fire Mod) Full auto conversion, faster firing rate + 38% fire rate, -18% damage falloff, -10% bullet velocity

Using Rapid Fire in Zombies can help this AR deliver impressive damage per second, rivaling other high-tier weapons. The setup mostly parallels the multiplayer build but with the addition of Extended Mag II and the Ranger Foregrip for better mobility and magazine size.

With three extra attachment slots, consider adding the Infiltrator Pad for increased strafe speed during aimed fire. The Long Barrel will help counter damage falloff, and choosing an optic that suits your style—either a scope or laser—can improve your accuracy. For default optics, a laser sight works well for quick targeting.

  • Completing the Ballerina Event Rewards in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Completing the Ballerina Event Rewards in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

The John Wick franchise is known for its stylish action and intense gun battles, making a crossover with Call of Duty feel like a natural fit. While the iconic character himself won’t make an appearance in Black Ops 6, Ana de Armas will be featured, reprising her role as the Ballerina character to help promote an upcoming film set in the same universe.

You can buy her as an operator in the cosmetic store, but if you prefer not to spend money, there’s a new multiplayer event you can join for free. As always, several rewards await those who meet the requirements. Here’s everything you need to know about the Black Ops 6 Ballerina event.

    What Is The Ballerina Event?

The Ballerina event will take place from June 5 to June 19, 2025. In multiplayer matches, players will need to collect High Table Coins, which can be obtained by defeating enemies or opening supply caches in Warzone. After gathering enough coins, head to the Event menu to trade them for various rewards.

If you earn all the rewards, you’ll unlock a brand new weapon: the Essex Model 07 marksman rifle.

What Are The Ballerina Event Rewards?

During the Ballerina event, you can earn 11 different rewards, plus an additional blueprint for players who purchase the Blackcell battle pass. Here are the items you can earn:

  • How Armory Completing Works in Black Ops 6: A Solving Guide

How Armory Completing Works in Black Ops 6: A Solving Guide

The Armory system makes its comeback in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. First introduced in Modern Warfare 3 (2023), the Armory serves as a repository for previous seasonal rewards, letting players earn them at their own pace. If you missed out on prior battle passes or limited-time events, you can still obtain gameplay-altering rewards from those sources.

If you’ve overlooked a strong perk or weapon, the Armory system allows you to catch up with other players easily. This brief guide will walk you through how to navigate the Armory system, how to access it, and address some common inquiries related to it.

    What Are Armory Unlocks?

Armory unlocks enable you to access any previous seasonal weapon, field upgrade, perk, wildcard, aftermarket part, or scorestreak. At the conclusion of each season, all items introduced during that season are added to the Armory’s lineup. Players can then choose which unlocks to pursue, and any XP earned will contribute to that selected item.

You can only track one Armory unlock at a time, and changing your current challenge does not erase your progress.

It’s important to note that the Armory also includes event-related items, not just battle pass rewards. For instance, if you missed a weapon conversion kit tied to a limited-time event, you can still obtain it through Armory unlocks once that event concludes. Armory unlocks never expire or leave the game.

    How to Access the Armory

The Armory can be found under the Barracks tab in any online mode—including Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. When you’re in the Barracks tab, choose “Challenges” and then “Armory” to view your current unlockable items. You can only focus on one item at a time.

Once you select an item, all XP you earn will count towards that current unlock. Most items require around 150,000 XP to unlock, though weapons usually need more. XP gained from any mode counts, and this includes bonuses from Double XP Tokens and events. For faster weapon unlocking, we recommend farming in Zombies, as it offers generous XP rates and avoids PvP interactions, making it a great mode for leveling up weapons.

    Armory FAQ

While the Armory system has largely remained unchanged since last year’s MW3, there are some quirks worth noting. Below are answers to frequently asked questions regarding the system.

I Can’t Access The Armory? Why?

You must reach Level 24 to use the Armory system. After reaching this level, you can begin unlocking any items in the Armory. Prestiging does not affect your access.

What Isn’t Included In The Armory?

Limited-time cosmetics, such as those from events and seasonal battle passes, are not included in the Armory. Only items that affect gameplay will be added.

Can I Change Armory Unlocks Mid-Challenge?

You can switch unlocks without losing any XP you’ve earned for the previous item. Just keep in mind that you can only work on one unlock at a time.

    Why Are Certain Items Missing?

This could mean you’ve already unlocked the item or that a bug is preventing it from showing up. If you haven’t unlocked the item, it’s likely due to the latter reason. You may need to wait for a future update to fix it. Remember, any item currently available in the active season will not appear in the Armory; only past seasonal and event items are included.

  • Top FFAR 1 Builds in Black Ops 6: Completing Your Gameplay

Top FFAR 1 Builds in Black Ops 6: Completing Your Gameplay

The legendary FAMAS assault rifle makes its return in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This iteration is a fully automatic rifle known for its rapid fire rate, solid base damage, and lower handling stats, classifying it as a hybrid between an assault rifle and a submachine gun. It’s particularly effective at close range, but with the right attachments, the FFAR 1 can also perform well at longer distances.

In this guide, we’ll explore two effective builds for the FFAR 1, making it a great choice for both Multiplayer and Zombies. One build is aimed at controlling recoil for Multiplayer battles, while the other utilizes the Gunfighter Wildcard to enhance this weapon’s mobility, creating a powerful option for close-quarters combat.

    Unlocking the FFAR 1

You can unlock the FFAR 1 by completing the Season 4 Battle Pass reward track. By playing through any Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone playlists, you’ll earn progress toward unlocking rewards. The FFAR 1 is available on Page 6, requiring at least 29 unlocks — 22 tokens to access the sixth page and an additional seven to claim the weapon itself.

After Season 4 concludes, the FFAR 1 will join the Armory system. You’ll be able to unlock it by earning XP while this weapon is currently selected as your Armory unlock. You can find Armory challenges within the “Challenges” section under the Barracks tab.

    Pros And Cons

    Advanced Stats

    Compensator (Muzzle)

    • -40% Vertical Recoil Control
    • -40% Gun Kick

    Long Barrel (Barrel)

    Extended Mag I (Magazine)

    Quickdraw Grip (Grip)

    Recoil Springs (Fire Mod)

    • -20% Recoil Gun Kick
    • -20% Horizontal Recoil
    • -20% Vertical Recoil

The FFAR behaves more like an SMG than a traditional assault rifle, featuring lower range stats but a rapid fire rate. It’s best to avoid using this weapon beyond medium range, but with the right recoil-control attachments, it remains effective. The Recoil Springs are essential in almost every configuration due to their extensive recoil reduction, making the FFAR significantly more reliable over distance.

This weapon has considerable vertical recoil, so a Compensator can help you control recoil climb. There may be some side-to-side movement, but keeping engagements under 30 meters will mitigate any major issues. For longer distances, add a Long Barrel to improve range falloff, a Quickdraw Grip to minimize the aiming-down-sights time, and Extended Mag I to lessen reloads. The magazine doesn’t carry any downsides, making it a must-have.

If added recoil isn’t a concern, consider swapping the Compensator for a Suppressor. Use this in conjunction with the Ghost perk to keep off enemy radars.

    Column One Scavenger and Ghost
    Column Two Hunter’s Instinct
    Column Three Slipstream
    Equipment
    Wildcard Perk Greed
    Lethal Your choice
    Tactical Stim
    Field Upgrade Your choice

The aggressive nature of the FFAR pairs well with the Enforcer Specialty, enabling healing and speed boosts after each kill. We suggest Scavenger for replenishing your limited ammo, Hunter’s Instinct for another beneficial perk, and Slipstream to eliminate tactical sprint-to-fire delays. Using Perk Greed allows for a fourth perk; consider using Flak Jacket or Ghost.

Your equipment choice can vary based on style. Stims provide a quick healing option, while Combat Axes are great when prepped. For your Field Upgrade, opt for a Trophy System in objective modes.

    Infiltrator Pad (Stock)

    Recoil Springs (Fire Mod)

    • -20% Recoil Gun Kick
    • -20% Horizontal Recoil
    • -20% Vertical Recoil

This updated build enhances mobility while retaining accuracy. It shares five attachments from the previous build to keep the weapon’s recoil in check. The Ranger Foregrip reduces horizontal recoil and boosts sprint speed. Since the default aim-down-sights strafe speed is somewhat sluggish, consider using an Infiltrator Pad alongside your preferred red dot sight for better performance.

This build also performs well in Zombies mode. If you need higher damage output in later rounds, you might swap Recoil Springs for Rapid Fire.

Slipstream to boost your movement speed. While you might lose access to tactical sprint, the speed benefits from Slipstream and the Ranger Foregrip will keep you agile, similar to an SMG. Scavenger is useful for restocking ammo and equipment from kills, and ensuring your red perk in the second column activates the Enforcer set bonus will maximize overall benefits.

Completing the Got Your Six Event: A Guide for Call of Duty 6

Over the years, Call of Duty has played a significant role in supporting military veterans, primarily through cosmetic bundles available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting charity. Black Ops 6 is incorporating the COD Endowment into its gameplay, which aims to raise awareness around helping service members secure jobs after returning home.

The Got Your Six event offers players a chance to earn a variety of cosmetic items inspired by the Endowment’s color palette and branding. By collecting all the rewards, players can unlock an exclusive weapon blueprint featuring an animated red and blue camouflage design. Here’s how to successfully complete the Got Your Six event.

Understanding the Got Your Six Event

  • Top Ladra Builds for Completing Black Ops 6 Challenges

The Ladra is a submachine gun (SMG) introduced in the third season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This weapon is characterized by its rapid fire rate and surprisingly low recoil, making it a formidable choice in multiplayer mode, especially when compared to the Kompakt 92 with the Rapid Fire attachment. While it may not deliver the same punch as the Kompakt, its reduced recoil and enhanced range capabilities give it a strong edge.

Once you unlock this weapon—either via the High Art event or Armory Unlocks—you’ll be able to craft some powerful setups. Today, we’ll explore two different builds: one geared for multiplayer and another designed for Zombies.

    Stealth Ladra Build

    Ladra Build

Attachment Pros And Cons Advanced Stats

    Suppressor (Muzzle)

    Reinforced Barrel (Barrel)

    • +Damage Range
    • +Bullet Velocity
    • +15% Damage Range
    • +30% Bullet Velocity

    Ranger Foregrip (Underbarrel)

    • +Horizontal Recoil Control
    • +Sprint Speed
    • -15% Horizontal Recoil Control
    • +6% Sprint Speed

    Quickdraw Grip (Stock)

    Recoil Springs (Fire Mod)

    • -10% Recoil Gun Kick
    • -10% Horizontal Recoil
    • -10% Vertical Recoil

When compared to the Kompakt SMG, the Ladra has significantly lower recoil and starts with a larger magazine. This allows for a stealth setup since there’s no need for a Compensator. You’ll primarily require a Suppressor to keep your shots off the enemy radar, a Ranger Foregrip for minimizing horizontal recoil, and Recoil Springs for controlling recoil deviation.

The other two attachments can be tailored to your preferences. We suggest using the Quickdraw Grip for quicker aim-down-sights (ADS) times and the Reinforced Barrel to enhance the rather low bullet velocity. This will also boost the weapon’s effective range to about 22 meters, suitable for an SMG.

    Loadout Recommendations

    Perks

    Column One Scavenger and Ghost
    Column Two Hunter’s Instinct
    Column Three Slipstream
    Equipment
    Wildcard Perk Greed
    Lethal Preference
    Tactical Stim
    Field Upgrade Preference

SMGs typically shine with the Enforcer combat specialty, which grants a substantial speed boost and health regeneration after eliminating an enemy. For red perks, we go with Scavenger for better ammo sustainability, Hunter’s Instinct for the second column, and Slipstream for a significant increase in natural sprint speed, sacrificing tactical sprint. Since you’re already using a Ranger Foregrip, your sprint speed will be close to tactical sprint values.

    Zombies Ladra Build

    Ladra Build

Attachment Pros And Cons Advanced Stats

    Volzhskiy Reflex (Optic)

    Compensator (Muzzle)

    Ranger Foregrip (Underbarrel)

    • -ADS Speed
    • -Sprint to Fire Speed
    • 56-Round Magazine
    • +22% Reload Speed
    • +10% ADS Speed
    • +17% Sprint to Fire Speed

    Quickdraw Grip (Stock)

    Infiltrator Stock (Stock)

    Target Laser (Laser)

    • +Aiming Idle Sway Delay
    • +Aim Walking Steadiness

    Recoil Springs (Fire Mod)

    • -10% Recoil Gun Kick
    • -10% Horizontal Recoil
    • -10% Vertical Recoil

For a Zombies setup, the focus should be on agility, magazine capacity, and accuracy. We recommend the Compensator, paired with the Ranger Foregrip and Recoil Springs to greatly enhance recoil control, making headshots much easier. Equipping a short-range optic can also help with targeting zombies effectively.

The Extended Mags II provides a substantial 56-round capacity but does affect your ADS speed, which can be compensated with a Quickdraw Grip. Since you’ll often be moving side to side while firing, using an Infiltrator Stock will boost your strafing speed. Combine this with the Stamin-Up’s Stalker augment, and you’ll be moving more swiftly than most zombies. Finally, add a Target Laser to minimize reticle wobble when strafing.

  • Unlock Black Ops 6 Blaze of Glory Rewards Fast!

Unlock Black Ops 6 Blaze of Glory Rewards Fast!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is known for its regular events, with the team constantly launching something engaging, even if it’s just a curated playlist. This time, comedian Seth Rogen is hosting the “Blaze of Glory” event, where players can earn Blaze Bucks to trade for various prizes, including cosmetic items and permanent upgrades like perks and field enhancements.

The good news is that this event is a micro-event, meaning you can quickly rack up rewards. While the event covers different modes, you can easily clear the reward track by diving into the fast-paced 24/7 playlists, allowing you to engage in frequent skirmishes with other players to earn those bucks rapidly.

How the Blaze of Glory Event Works

A Virtual Seth Rogen Hosts the Event

Blaze of Glory spans all modes in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, enabling players to earn Blaze Bucks in every primary mode (Warzone, multiplayer, zombies). Blaze Bucks function as a currency within and outside the game, dropping in cash form when you eliminate opponents or open Warzone Supply Caches. These look like little golden ticket bills, and you can use this currency to purchase rewards from a menu screen within Black Ops 6.

Available rewards for Blaze of Glory include:

    • Double XP Token (x1)
    • Decal (x1)
    • Emblem (x1)
    • Double Weapon XP Token (x1)
    • Calling Card (x1)
    • Gobblegum (x1)
    • Frost Blast Field Upgrade for Zombies (x1)
    • A perk called Vendetta (x1) – “On respawn, mark your killer’s last known position for a short duration. Get bonus points for eliminating that enemy.”
    • An emote (x1)
    • Battle Pass Skip (x1)

Once you complete all ten reward slots, you’ll also unlock a weapon camo called “Highly Decorated.” In total, you’ll need 255 Blaze Bucks to collect all rewards, so keep that in mind if you have limited time and only want to grab some specific non-cosmetic items. It’s a good idea to keep track of how many Blaze Bucks you earn in each game, as this will help you plan your time to complete everything.

In my experience, Blaze Bucks drop about 50% of the time. This means every time you score an elimination or an assist, there’s a 50% chance the fallen enemy will drop Blaze Bucks. Remember, close-quarters combat and weapons can help you collect bucks faster, similar to the Kill Confirmed core mode. This is why maps with tight spaces are ideal, as you won’t have to run far to pick up your rewards.

The Blaze of Glory event concludes on Thursday, May 15.

Play Casual Warzone If You Don’t Play Multiplayer

Warzone Does Not Grant Blaze Bucks on Eliminations

If you prefer to play Warzone, you’re in luck; it’s still possible to earn all the Blaze Bucks you need from it, even in the newly introduced casual mode. In this mode, Blaze Bucks drop from caches and will appear on your HUD as single Blaze Buck drops. You’ll see them accumulate in the same area where cash indicators pop up on your screen, right in the center.

However, keep in mind that this isn’t the most efficient way to earn Blaze Bucks quickly. Warzone does not provide Blaze Buck drops for eliminations, so you’ll need to depend on finding them in containers. Opt for named locations to increase your chances of finding bucks: I had great luck at Train Station and Boneyard—both are notable hotspots with numerous chests.

Grinding Quick 24/7 Playlists Is the Fastest Route

Stakeout 24/7 Is a Quick Option

Based on my experience, constantly playing Stakeout through the Stakeout 24/7 playlist is the quickest way to accumulate Blaze Bucks and fully complete the Blaze of Glory event rewards. You might remember Stakeout as that close-quarters apartment map filled with chaos and frequent firefights. Since you can earn Blaze Bucks through eliminations and assists in Black Ops 6, this method guarantees you’ll stay in the action and take out players every few seconds.

Fortunately, Blaze Bucks remain on the ground even after you’re eliminated, so there’s no rush to scoop them up if you’re about to go down. This is why maps with constant action (especially Stakeout) work so well; you can respawn, grab the Blaze Bucks, and continue your mission to eliminate as many players as you can. Make sure to get involved in as many eliminations and assists as possible to earn Blaze Bucks indirectly.

While Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 follows a similar format for many micro-events, they’re straightforward to navigate even if you’re a former player. The rewards for Blaze of Glory are also easy to understand, so as long as you’re getting eliminations or assists and focusing on Stakeout, you can finish the event in less than a day. Find a weapon that suits you well and jump in whenever you have spare time.

  • Completing Blaze Bucks in CoD: Black Ops 6 Guide

The “Call of Duty” series has traditionally hinted at cannabis culture through various cosmetic items. However, with Black Ops 6, the connection is deeper than ever. Following the High Art pass, developers at Treyarch have introduced a new event called Blaze of Glory.

In this event, Seth Rogen takes on the role of a game show host, ready to hand out prizes to players. To score these rewards, you’ll need to excel in multiplayer matches and earn the new Blaze Bucks currency. Here’s a rundown of the Blaze of Glory event.

    Blaze Of Glory Event Overview

When you join a game, keep an eye out for Blaze Bucks. These will be awarded for eliminations in both standard multiplayer and zombie matches. You can also find them in supply caches during Warzone games. Once you’ve collected some, visit the Event tab in the main menu to redeem your rewards.

The Blaze of Glory event runs from May 6 to May 15, 2025, so act quickly to gather all the available rewards.

    Blaze Of Glory Rewards

During the Blaze of Glory event, players can earn 11 prizes (or 12 if you have the Blackcell battle pass). Although you won’t know exactly what each item is until you purchase it, this adds to the game show vibe. Here’s what you can earn:

Call of Duty has long acknowledged its links to marijuana and cannabis culture, but Treyarch is stepping it up with the latest Black Ops 6 High Art event. Comedian and well-known cannabis enthusiast Seth Rogen is now part of the game, joining the roster as a playable character along with various cannabis-themed gear and blueprints.

Acquiring these items is straightforward—just play the game. However, similar to previous Black Ops 6 seasonal events, accessing the most exciting rewards will require a purchase. To help you navigate this event, check out our guide to the High Art event.

Understanding the High Art Event Pass

The High Art event runs from May 1 to May 14, 2025. Upon launching the game, you’ll automatically get access to the free tier of the High Art pass, which is located in the Events tab.

Like previous collaborations, all rewards can only be earned through gameplay. You’ll earn experience points after every match, and once you reach specific milestones, you’ll unlock themed prizes.

Profile XP boosters will be very helpful; they double the experience you earn after each match, allowing you to progress through the pass more quickly.

If you want to fully enjoy everything the event offers, be prepared to spend some cash. Seth Rogen’s operator skin is available only through the premium pass track, which costs 1,100 COD Points ($9.99 or the equivalent in your region).

  • Completing Every Free Power-Up Location in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Power-ups are essential in not just Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 but also in any CoD Zombies map. They give you and your teammates a significant advantage, whether it’s quickly taking out enemies or boosting your Essence collection. These items can really turn the tide when you find yourself in a tough spot.

Traditionally, every new map comes with all power-ups available for players, though they can be quite hidden. Knowing where to find them can help you out of a jam. This guide will show you where to locate each power-up on the latest map, Shattered Veil.

    Max Ammo Location

Begin at the spawn point and head towards the fountain by the bridge, where you’ll see a statue. To the right of that statue, look for a small Max Ammo icon. Shoot it to activate the power-up.

    Double Points Location

On the west balcony of the mansion, just outside the PhD Flopper, you’ll find a GobbleGum Machine. To the left of this machine, examine a broken ledge. If you look over the edge of the map, you should be able to spot a log. This is where the Double Points power-up is waiting, although you might need a scope to see it clearly.

    Bonus Points Location

From the mansion entrance, head up the stairs on your right and take the door on the right. Inside, you should find an empty window on the right wall. Just inside this window, the Bonus Points power-up will be located.

    Full Power Location

Continue forward into the hallway outside the Study, where you’ll see a computer. If you go prone and look through the vent, the Full Power symbol will be visible hanging there.

    Insta Kill Location

Make your way to the elevator that takes you to the pack-a-punch machine and descend. Once you land, return to the elevator and look up at the left wall; there you will see the golden skull icon.

    Nuke Location

Travel to the service tunnel underground and find the section with the blue crystal. To the right, a white track leads to a box covered in a blue rag. Directly beneath this, in a small window, you should be able to see the Nuke power-up waiting for you.

  • Completing the Sam Lazer Trap in Black Ops 6 Zombies Explained

Completing the Sam Lazer Trap in Black Ops 6 Zombies Explained

Zombies players eagerly anticipate Easter eggs in their favorite maps, especially with the launch of new content in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. While some of these hidden gems might not be found right away, players are determined to track down every one, particularly on the latest Shattered Veil map.

One intriguing side Easter egg on Shattered Veil involves a character named SAM. When you encounter SAM in the underground area of the mansion, did you know you can transform him into a powerful weapon against the undead? This guide will walk you through the steps to make that happen.

How to Activate the Lazer SAM Trap Easter Egg

Your first step is to head over to SAM, located along the same route that leads to the Pack-a-Punch area on Shattered Veil.

Once inside the Pack-a-Punch room, look for a computer on the left side. Interacting with it will display a message that reads ‘System Rebooting…‘.

After this, while still in the same round, you need to use one of the three other computers found throughout the mansion.

Once you’ve interacted with one, progress to the next round, then return to check the computer you used earlier.

At this point, your screen will display one of two results: either a yellow screen labeled ‘Cleaning’ or a red screen resembling a skull.

For this Easter egg, you will need to get the red screen. When you do, interact with the computer again to collect a floppy disk from it.

Here are the locations of the computers in the mansion:

    • One computer is located in the Study, towards the east of the mansion.
    • Another computer can be found in the Overlook.
    • The last computer sits in the West Hallways, on the west side of the mansion.

The interaction with the computer that gets you the red screen is entirely random, so it might take several attempts before you succeed, or you could get lucky on the first try. If you don’t get the red screen right away, just keep trying until it happens.

After using one of these computers, make sure to progress to the next round and then check back.

Once you have the floppy disk, return to the main computer in the Pack-a-Punch room and interact with it to insert the disk.

This action will initiate the ‘System Booting…’ sequence. Next, move on to the next round and interact with the computer again, which should now present the ‘Cleaning’ menu.

After progressing one more round, interact with the computer once more. This time, it will show a red screen that reads ‘SAM Infected.’

Finally, after one last interaction with the computer, SAM will transform into a laser trap that can be used against zombies.

Once activated, SAM will begin firing lasers, and you can reactivate this trap for 2,000 Essence.

The laser trap effectively eliminates zombies and remains active longer than standard traps.

  • Completing the Ray Gun Mark 2: Solving Shotgun Variant in BO6

There have been numerous speculations about the Ray Gun Mark 2 being included in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, but the exact timing was uncertain until now. With the recent launch of Season 3, it has officially arrived! The weapon makes its debut alongside a brand new Zombies map named Shattered Veil. This large map is packed with secrets and hidden Easter eggs waiting to be uncovered.

If you’re determined to finish all the Easter eggs on each map, you’ll need to know how to acquire the Ray Gun Mark 2 and upgrade it to its various forms. This upgrade is crucial for completing the main Easter egg on Shattered Veil. In this guide, we’ll focus on how to evolve the Ray Gun Mark 2 into the shotgun variant, known as the Ray Gun Mark 2-P.

Obtaining the Ray Gun Mark 2 and an Empty Canister

First things first, you need to obtain the Ray Gun Mark 2. You can either get it from the Mystery Box if luck is on your side, or follow the steps outlined in this guide to acquire it from the Armory.

Next, you’ll need to find an Empty Canister, which can be collected from three different locations on the map:

    • One can be obtained from a blue crystal that can be shot using the Ray Gun Mark 2.
    • Another is from a pipe puzzle in the underground section.
    • And the last one comes from using the LT53 Kazimir grenade at the entrance located beneath the Double Tap machine.

Once you have gathered these essential items, there are still a few more things you’ll need to collect before you can start filling the canister.

How to Upgrade the Ray Gun Mark 2 into the Shotgun Variant

How to Get an Essence Bomb

Your first task is to find an Essence Bomb, which can be randomly located in one of the scattered white boxes around the map.

These boxes are quite visible and can be found in multiple areas, including near the spawning zone, inside the mansion, and in the underground level.

To acquire the bomb, simply destroy the boxes. You might need to check several boxes before you find the one containing the bomb, so keep searching!

Fortunately, these boxes tend to respawn after a short while, which can help increase your chances of quickly securing the Essence Bomb.

    How to Find the Reflectors

The second item you need is two reflectors, which can be found in the following locations:

    • The fountain located to the right of the Quick Revive machine.
    • The fountain just outside the PhD Flopper machine.

You may not spot these items immediately, so feel free to repeatedly interact with the fountains when you’re nearby.

Sometimes, the game may not register your interaction, so try jumping while you interact to make it work.

How to Obtain the Light Canister

With all the necessary items in hand, head to the service tunnel and go to the right side of the wall where the Armor Vest upgrade is located. There, you’ll find some rock debris.

Interact with it to place the bomb, which will clear the rocks and open a secret room.

Inside, you’ll discover a round room featuring a statue in its center. Head to the far end of this room to locate the canister machine.

Place the empty canister there, which will activate a beam from the source crystal in the center of the room.

Next, you need to solve a light puzzle where you’ll position the reflectors to redirect the beam toward the Doppelghast statues within the room. Hitting these statues will spawn enemies that you need to defeat.

You’ll need to complete this process three times before you can retrieve the canister.

Start by positioning the first reflector where the light is directed. Next, place the second reflector just to the left of the canister machine. This setup will illuminate the first statue. Remember to melee the crystal source to direct the light toward the statue and spawn the first Doppelghast. Defeat it to advance.

Next, adjust the first reflector’s position and grab the second reflector from its previous location. Place it at the endpoint of the beam, ensuring it hits the second statue. Again, melee the crystal source to spawn and defeat the second Doppelghast.

Return to the original spot of the second reflector, resetting it, and melee the first reflector until the light reaches the third statue. Now, melee the crystal source so the beam hits the final statue, spawning a stronger version of the Doppelghast. Be cautious as this one packs more power.

Once you take it down, return to the canister machine to retrieve the Light Canister.

With the Light Canister in your possession, head back to the west side of the mansion where you’ll come across a workbench in the director’s quarters. Place the canister here to activate the workbench, setting the stage for your next upgrade.

Congratulations, you’re now ready to upgrade the Ray Gun Mark 2 to its P variant, the shotgun form!

  • Completing the Upgrade of Ray Gun Mark 2 to Wraith Fire in BO6

Completing the Upgrade of Ray Gun Mark 2 to Wraith Fire in BO6

Each zombie map in the game tells its own distinct story, and in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the squad delves into the mystery surrounding the Sentinel Artifact. Their quest leads them to the eerie Shattered Veil mansion, where they encounter a fresh adventure filled with challenges.

Similar to earlier maps, Shattered Veil is brimming with secrets and hidden Easter eggs waiting to be discovered, along with unique wonder weapons up for grabs. Unlike the Citadelle des Morts, which featured various elemental swords, Shattered Veil not only reintroduces the Ray Gun Mark 2 but also brings new upgrades and variations for players to uncover.

Acquiring the Ray Gun Mark 2

Your first task is to get your hands on the Ray Gun Mark 2 for the upgrade process. There are two primary methods for obtaining this weapon.

The first method involves trying your luck with the Mystery Box, although this is not a sure bet, and you might end up spending more Essence than you can afford without securing the weapon.

The second method allows you to complete specific tasks in the Armory room, where you can retrieve the Severed Hand and unlock the Ray Gun Mark 2 for yourself.

Next, you’ll need to track down an Empty Canister, which can be found in three different ways within the Shattered Veil map.

    Finding an Empty Canister

    First Canister Location

You can acquire an Empty Canister by shooting at the blue crystals scattered around the Shattered Veil map using the Ray Gun Mark 2.

In total, there are four crystals, and one of them will yield the empty canister:

    • One located inside the conservatory, near the Quick Revive machine.
    • One near the Stamin-Up machine, on the ceiling of the staircase.
    • One just outside the PhD Flopper machine.
    • One in the service tunnel.

    Second Canister Location

For the second canister, you’ll need to obtain the LT53 Kazimir grenade, which can be crafted at the Crafting Table for a cost of 1,500 Salvage.

However, there’s a free grenade available in the service tunnel area near a broken car, where a zombie will be holding one.

Once you have the LT53 Kazimir, go to the spot where the Double Tap machine is located at the back of the mansion and proceed to the patio below it.

There, you should find a hole in the wall. Aim the Kazimir grenade at the opening, and it will draw out the canister you need.

    Third Canister Location

The last canister requires you to gather a few Combat Axes and head down to the underground level, directly to the left of where you fought the Doppelghast that gave you the Severed Arm. Outside the map, you will see some valves and two pipes labeled A and B.

To complete this step, you must overload these pipes in the correct sequence.

To determine the correct order, find SAM’s location where you’ll find a Crafting Table nearby. To the left of the table, there will be a pod, and alongside that, you will notice a letter, either A or B. Keep this in mind and make your way back to the valves.

Your next move is to throw the Combat Axe at the middle valve first, and then depending on whether you got an A or B, target the corresponding valve at the top (A) or bottom (B).

Doing so will overload the pipes, leading to the pod cracking, which you will then need to destroy with a lethal for it to drop the final Empty Canister.

Remember that any of these canisters can be utilized for any of the available upgrades, as they are not tied to a specific upgrade.

Upgrading the Ray Gun Mark 2 to the Wraith Fire Variant

Next, head to the area with the Speed Cola machine, where you will find a machine for placing the canister right in front of it.

Once you do this, an Abomination will spawn, but you don’t need to eliminate it. Instead, we’ll use it to proceed with the next task.

While in the area, you’ll notice three smaller rocks. You’ll need to lure the Abomination to illuminate each rock using its beam attack, then make it stomp on them so they can float.

To do this, just hide behind the rock, getting the Abomination to hit it with its beam to turn it blue. Then, let it stomp on the rock to make it float.

Ensure that all three rocks are lit before prompting the Abomination to stomp on them.

Once you’ve managed that, a portal will show up in the center, initiating a lockdown phase where you must defend the portal for a designated period of time.

For this segment, utilizing a Mutant Injection or a Chopper Gunner can simplify matters greatly.

Upon completing the lockdown, return to the canister machine. You’ll now be able to collect the Explosive Canister.

Bring this canister to the workbench in front of the Armory located in the service tunnel. This will allow you to upgrade the Ray Gun Mark 2 to its W variant, which is also known as the Wraith Fire.

  • Top HDR Builds in Black Ops 6 for Completing Your Strategy

Top HDR Builds in Black Ops 6 for Completing Your Strategy

The third season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has reintroduced some legendary weapons from Modern Warfare 2019, including the HDR sniper rifle. This weapon was a favorite when Warzone initially launched due to its impressive power, minimal recoil, and ease of use.

In Black Ops 6, the HDR continues to shine in skilled hands. This guide will detail how to unlock the HDR and provide two effective builds: one for general Multiplayer use and another optimized for high-round Zombie matches.

    How To Unlock The HDR

To get the HDR sniper rifle, you need to complete the Season 3 Battle Pass, where it’s the final reward on Page 3. As you play through Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone matches, you’ll earn Battle Pass tokens. These tokens can be used to unlock rewards on pages you’ve accessed, meaning you need to complete earlier pages before moving on to Page 3.

Note: The HDR is available to all players, even those who do not purchase the Battle Pass. After the season wraps up, you can still obtain the HDR through the Armory Unlocks system, just like other seasonal rewards.

    Multiplayer HDR Build

Here’s a recommended setup for the HDR in Multiplayer:

Attachment Pros and Cons Advanced Stats
    Blandwell 7x (Optic)
CHF Barrel (Barrel) – No Mini-Map Pings
    – +Leg Hit Location Multiplier
    – -ADS Speed
    -Recoil Control
    – One-hit kills to arms and lower torso
    – +42% Recoil Gun Kick
    – +20% Horizontal Recoil
    – +50% Vertical Recoil
    – +24% ADS Speed
    Lightweight Bipod (Underbarrel)
    Extended Mag I (Magazine)
Combat Stock (Stock) – +Flinch Resistance
    – +ADS Speed
    – +Sprint to Fire Speed
    – +Aim Walking Movement Speed
    – -7% ADS Speed
    – +18% Strafe Speed
    – +25% Flinch Resistance

This build balances versatility, making it useful in various situations. The Combat Stock reduces flinch from enemy fire while compromising slightly on ADS speed. The CHF Barrel enhances your chances of achieving one-hit kills in the arms and lower torso, making it a forgiving option for sniping.

For the rest of your attachments, choose based on your play style. I recommend using the Extended Mag I for less frequent reloading, a Lightweight Bipod to minimize horizontal sway, and your preferred optic, which we’ve chosen to be the Blandwell 7x.

    Loadout Recommendations

Here’s a suggested loadout to complement your HDR:

    Perks
    Specialty Recon
    Column One Ghost, Flak Jacket
    Column Two Tracker
    Column Three Vigilance
    Equipment
    Wildcard Perk Greed
    Lethal Your Choice
    Tactical Stim
    Field Upgrade Trophy Systems

Opt for the Recon Specialty for this setup. The CHF Barrel already has a built-in suppressor, allowing you to use Ghost to remain undetected while moving. Pair this with Tracker and Vigilance for enhanced awareness of enemy locations. For added protection against lethal weapons, use the Flak Jacket as part of your Perk Greed.

    Zombie HDR Build

If you’re diving into Zombies, here’s a tailored HDR setup:

Attachment Pros and Cons Advanced Stats
    Kepler Microflex (Optic)
Suppressor (Muzzle) – Chance for extra Salvage
    Long Barrel (Barrel)
Ranger Foregrip (Underbarrel) – +Horizontal Recoil Control
    – +Sprint Speed
    -20% Horizontal Recoil
    +8% Sprint Speed
    Extended Mag I (Magazine)
Quickdraw Grip (Grip) – +ADS Speed
    -Flinch Resistance
    Strelok Laser (Laser)
Rapid Fire (Fire Mod) – +Rechamber Speed
    -Recoil Control
    -Bullet Velocity
    +4% Fire Rate
    +10% Horizontal Recoil
    +15% Vertical Recoil

This build emphasizes improving the HDR’s ADS speed for quicker reactions. Adding the Quickdraw Grip along with a shorter-range optic will help you be more agile. The Rapid Fire attachment speeds up rechambering, while the Ranger Foregrip enhances your sprint speeds. The Suppressor attachment can also provide an extra chance for salvaging resources. The other attachments mirror our Multiplayer setup.

Choose the configuration that fits your gaming style best and dominate the battlefield!

  • Completing Every Perk-a-Cola Spot on Shattered Veil in BO6

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, the longer you stay in the game, the more challenging the zombies become, introducing more elite and special types that ramp up the difficulty. To help you cope with this escalating challenge, one of the key items you should aim to collect is Perk-a-Cola, which gives you important advantages during gameplay.

Each Perk-a-Cola provides a unique benefit, allowing you to boost your health, enhance your fire rate, and more. On every map, these perks can be found in specific spots. In the newly launched Shattered Veil, there are eight to discover, and this guide will show you where to find each one.

    Quick Revive Machine Location

The first machine you’ll come across is Quick Revive, situated in the Conservatory, just to the west of the lower terrace.

Quick Revive enables you to heal faster and can help you revive teammates at a quicker pace.

    Speed Cola Machine Location

If you head east from Quick Revive, you’ll reach Shem’s Henge area, which houses the Speed Cola machine.

Speed Cola allows for faster reloads and quicker armor replacement.

    Jugger-Nog Machine Location

Proceeding north toward the mansion, you’ll spot the Jugger-Nog machine immediately on your left as you enter.

Jugger-Nog boosts your maximum health, providing you with better survivability.

    Stamin-Up Machine Location

To the east of the mansion, you’ll find the Stamin-Up machine at a nearby spot.

Stamin-Up increases your movement speed, helping you navigate quickly.

    Elemental Pop Machine Location

Make your way to the eastern balcony of the mansion. In the distance, you’ll spot the Elemental Pop machine.

Elemental Pop activates random ammo modifications while shooting.

    Double Tap Machine Location

Located at the back of the mansion, just west of Elemental Pop, you’ll discover the beloved Double Tap machine.

Double Tap boosts your weapon’s firing rate.

    Death Perception Machine Location

From the previous spot, head west to the upper floor of the mansion to find the Death Perception machine.

Death Perception highlights hidden zombies with an orange glow, making them easier to spot.

    PhD Flopper Machine Location

Located slightly southwest of the previous machine, you’ll come across PhD Flopper inside the nursery.

PhD Flopper allows you to deal explosive damage when diving and protects you from all explosive damage in the game.

  • Completing the Free Ray Gun Mark 2 in Black Ops 6’s Shattered Veil

Completing the Free Ray Gun Mark 2 in Black Ops 6’s Shattered Veil

Wonder weapons are some of the most formidable firearms you’ll encounter in Zombies mode, but getting your hands on them can be quite challenging. While you might get lucky and find one in the mystery box, crafting one is typically a steadier, albeit tougher, option. However, we assure you, the effort will pay off.

With the launch of the new Shattered Veil zombies map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, players are excited to discover not just one, but two new wonder weapons. One of the most sought-after is the Ray Gun Mark 2, which you may have already spotted during gameplay. This guide will show you the steps to obtain it.

How to Acquire the Ray Gun Mark 2

To start, you’ll need to progress through the rounds in Shattered Veil until you reach round ten and activate the Pack-a-Punch machine located in the mansion’s underground area.

How to Get the Floppy Disk

Once you’ve completed the above tasks, a special zombie known as the Lab Technician with purple eyes will spawn. Defeating this zombie will yield a quest item called the Floppy Disk.

After acquiring the Floppy Disk, take it to a fax machine situated in the east foyer of the mansion, right next to the Stamin-Up machine.

    How to Retrieve the Code

In the corner of this room, you’ll find a computer that you can interact with. This will start a fax printout from the nearby fax machine.

This will cause some zombies to spawn, so be prepared to fend them off.

After the fax completes, interact with it to receive a message containing a word in all capital letters. Be sure to remember this word or jot it down, as it’s crucial for the next steps.

    • Your word might be something like WORM.

Next, head over to the west side of the mansion toward the nursery room where the PhD Flopper machine is. Just to the right, you’ll see a chalkboard filled with various groups of words.

Here’s where it gets a bit tricky. Follow these steps to decode the numbers:

    1. For each letter of the word you obtained, check which group it belongs to and count how many letters are in that group; that number represents your code.
    2. For simplicity, let’s say the first letter is W, which appears in a group of seven letters, making the first number of our code: 7.
    3. Repeat this process for each letter to determine the four-digit code. In this example, WORM would yield 7671.

Please note that both the word and the corresponding numbers will vary with each game, but the approach is always the same.

    How to Defeat the Doppelghast

With your four-digit code in hand, head down to the underground level of the mansion via the elevator, and proceed outside to the tunnel after unlocking the door.

Right in front of you, you’ll find a Doppelghast trapped behind a door. To the right, there is a panel where you can enter your code.

Input the four-digit code you figured out earlier to unlock the door and confront the Doppelghast.

Make sure you’re well-prepared before releasing the Doppelghast; it behaves similarly to those found in Citadelle des Morts.

Once you manage to defeat it, it will drop the Severed Arm, which is essential for acquiring the Ray Gun Mark 2.

How to Get the Ray Gun Mark 2

Finally, make your way to the Armory and use the Severed Arm on the panel located to the right of the window where the Ray Gun is displayed.

This will break the glass, allowing you to claim your very own Ray Gun Mark 2.

The Ray Gun Mark 2 can be upgraded into three different variations that alter its functionality.

  • How to Solve Shattered Veil Easter Egg Song in Black Ops 6

In the world of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, it has become a fun custom for every new map to feature a unique hidden Easter egg song. To unlock these tunes, the process is straightforward: you need to find three secret Mr. Peeks headsets and interact with them.

Shattered Veil follows this tradition, and soon after its release, players quickly discovered the locations of all the headsets. This guide will help you pinpoint where to find each one.

How to Unlock the Shattered Veil Easter Egg Song

    First Headset Location

When you spawn on the Shattered Veil map, head west toward the Quick Revive machine.

Inside the conservatory, look for the stairs. Just beneath them, you should find the first blue headset perched on a box.

Don’t forget to interact with it and enjoy the audio cue before you move on to the next headset.

    Second Headset Location

Next, head inside the mansion and make your way to the elevator, situated near the Double Tap machine at the rear of the mansion.

Behind the elevator, on the right side, you will discover the second headset on the bottom shelf near the radio.

    Third Headset Location

For the last headset, you’ll need to repair the elevator and descend to the underground level where the Pack-a-Punch machine is located. After opening the locked door, turn right and proceed to the service tunnel.

On your right, look for some yellow boxes, and right on top of those, you’ll spot the third and final headset.

Once you’ve found and interacted with all three headsets and heard their sounds, the secret Shattered Veil song will start playing. We won’t spoil it for you, so enjoy the surprise!
