Discovering Heartopia involves collecting and studying various creatures, from fish in the ocean to birds flying above. After a busy day, you’ll want to unwind with tasty snacks. But if you’re after the famous roll cake recipe, you’ll need a little patience.
Only one person in town knows how to make it, and finding them isn’t easy. We’ll show you where to find Doris so you can buy the recipe and ingredients from her when she’s around. Here’s everything you need to know!
### Where to Find Doris
Doris is a shy town resident who owns a small shop, similar to characters like Annie and Ka Ching. The tricky part is, you can only find Doris when it’s raining or there’s a rainbow. When the weather isn’t right, she’ll be inside her house and unreachable.
### Doris’s Secret Shop in the Rain or Snow
When the weather is rainy or snowy, head over to Art Street on the west side of town. You’ll spot her walking around the patio by the southwest bridge, dressed entirely in blue. Talk to her to access her shop and buy the roll cake recipe along with the ingredients like sugar.
Make sure to buy all her stock of sugar for the day, as her inventory changes regularly. Remember, sugar comes in different colors—so stock up on all she has!
### Doris’s Fortune Shop During Rainbow or Meteor Shower Weather
During a rainbow or meteor shower, Doris may set up her fortune shop. If you can’t find her at Art Street, try scanning the bridge leading to the forest island in the northeast corner of the map, where black truffles grow, or near Onsen Mountain, where she might be dressed in white and pink instead of her usual blue.
Her shop offers a variety of items, including:
