How to Complete Buildings in Where Winds Meet and Solve Challenges

Live-service games like Where Winds Meet tend to be pretty fair with their optional purchases. It has a battle pass and cosmetic gacha options, some of which you can only get with real money, but overall, these don’t block or limit any part of the game.

One surprising feature is the construction system. You can start building at any time, whether that’s simple decorations to improve the environment or entire buildings for your character to live in. This system is more extensive than you might think.

    What Is Construction?

Construction is exactly what it sounds like—creating and placing parts to build something. There’s a dedicated button to access it anytime. The game offers a variety of pieces, neatly categorized for easy selection.

Construction is purely for looks; the items don’t have a gameplay function. Sometimes, just making your space look nice is enough.

Note: Based on the Chinese version, construction could expand significantly in the future—possibly allowing larger builds, gardening, and hiring NPCs to help tend your land.

Placing items costs no money; you can do it as often as you want. You can also recycle items to get them back without losing anything, so don’t be afraid to experiment.

Building requires two things: Stamina and Resources. The Resources are mainly Raw Ore and Wood, with larger structures needing more. Stamina is used for crafting and building, but it rapidly refills each day.

Most construction items only consume one Stamina point, meaning you could craft up to 500 pieces daily before running out.

    Basic Functions

To build, open Construction Mode, pick an item from your inventory or quick access bar, and place it. You can rotate items and change their angles, like adjusting a ladder’s tilt.

Additional tools help make building easier:

    • Recycling removes placed items and returns them to your inventory—cost-free.
    • Extraction allows you to select an existing item and replace it quickly if you have one in your inventory or the materials to craft it.
    • Blueprints let you preview entire designs before placing them, helping you visualize and plan advanced structures.
    • Quick Bar provides easy access to frequently used items, pre-trained with default options that you can customize.

    Building Yourself

Constructing structures is straightforward. Simply choose an item and place it. If it’s already in your inventory, it will be placed directly; if not, it will automatically be crafted when you place it.

Tip: When selecting items to craft, an asterisk indicates you don’t currently have enough materials, and a number shows how many you can produce with your resources.

Most objects can be placed freely, but some, like walls or doors, will snap into place at angles, making it easier to fit pieces together.

    Building From Blueprints

You can also build from blueprints, which show outlines of structures in the world for better scale and planning. However, full automatic construction isn’t available—each part of the blueprint must be built manually. You can also choose to auto-complete the entire blueprint if you have enough materials, but it’s wise to check your supplies beforehand to avoid incomplete builds.

You can review every piece in a blueprint afterward, including the total count, to keep track of what you’re building.

    Can You Build Anywhere?

Yes, with a few exceptions. You can generally construct almost anywhere in the game world—except inside caves, dungeons, or major cities like Kaifeng and Blissful Retreat.

You’ll need enough space, and your build items can’t block existing structures. The land must be flat enough for placement, but the game is quite forgiving in this aspect. Also, ladders can be placed anywhere, helping you access tall or oddly-shaped buildings easily.

    Are Your Structures Permanent?

Anything you build stays forever. They won’t appear online, so other players won’t see your constructions. But even if you travel far, quit, or return later, your structures will remain intact. Your home is always there when you come back.

    Where to Get Construction Materials

Materials for building mainly include Wood and Raw Ore. Most small structures require only a little, but larger ones can demand significant amounts.

You can buy these from merchants or gather them yourself in the world. To find them more easily, you can use the Material Tracking feature, which highlights resource locations on the map.

Wood is gathered by chopping certain trees, and Raw Ore can be mined from ore deposits and rocks scattered across the landscape, like Dark-hued and Green-hued stones.

  • Where to Find Enelica Buildings in Arc Raiders: Completing and Solving

Where to Find Enelica Buildings in Arc Raiders: Completing and Solving

Since Speranza is entirely underground in ARC Raiders, keeping the infrastructure stable and well-built is crucial. If it collapses, the whole station could fall, endangering everyone and setting back the survival efforts of humanity.

One district has already experienced some failures, likely due to constant movement above and below ground, earthquakes, and the construction materials used in Speranza. Apollo has ideas about reinforcing the infrastructure, but he needs solid, old-fashioned data to make those changes happen. This means it’s time to go on a raid.

How to Find an ENELICA Building

Your first goal is to locate an ENELICA building, which can be found in Dam Battlegrounds and at The Blue Gate. Both have a prominent blue ENELICA logo on their sides, often with a wave-shaped symbol overhead.

    • The ENELICA building in Dam Battlegrounds is the Water Treatment Control facility on the southwest side of the map.
    • The ENELICA building at The Blue Gate is near the Overlook Airshaft in the eastern part of the map.

The Water Treatment Control building in Dam Battlegrounds is the easier option to reach, as it’s marked clearly on the map and Dam Battlegrounds itself is less dangerous for enemies. Entering either building updates your quest and reveals the next task: finding a notice board somewhere inside the location.

Note: Shani’s quest, A Toxic Trail, requires visiting the Water Treatment Control in Dam Battlegrounds. You can complete both quests by going there instead of The Blue Gate.

For the Water Treatment Control building, the notice board is on the wall next to the entrance on the south side. At The Blue Gate, the notice board is inside the tower adjacent to the hangar, just behind the desk on the first floor. Interact with either to update your quest and move forward.

How to Find the Researcher’s Data

Travel to Buried City, specifically to Piazza Roma on the west side near the Town Hall. Look for a large two-building apartment complex just outside the Western Station entrance. Head inside the store with the Convinio sign located on the ground floor.

Important: Buried City is often crowded with PvP players, even in solo play. Many players hide in the apartment buildings, so it’s safest to use a free loadout to prevent losing valuable gear, as this mission doesn’t require fighting ARC enemies.

Use the stairs or a zipline to reach the floor below the roof. Enter the apartment, then go to the room on the right after entering. Turn the corner to find another room filled with equipment, monitors, and a desk with a keyboard.

Interact with the keyboard to complete the final step of the quest. Once done, you can choose to keep exploring or return early to Speranza. Speak to Apollo for your rewards: experience points, a Raider Hatch Key, three Seeker Grenades, and an Advanced Electrical Component.

  • Morocco Building Collapses Kill 19 in Devastating Collapse

Morocco Building Collapses Kill 19 in Devastating Collapse

Two neighboring four-story buildings in Fez have collapsed. Emergency search and rescue efforts are underway, with the injured being taken to the hospital. Fez, an ancient capital city nestled in northeastern Morocco, experienced this tragedy early Wednesday, resulting in at least 19 fatalities and 16 injuries, according to state news sources.

The authorities in Fez reported that two adjoining four-story structures in the Al-Mustaqbal neighborhood fell overnight. These buildings housed eight families at the time of the collapse. Upon hearing about the incident, local officials, security personnel, and civil protection teams responded promptly, initiating immediate rescue operations.

The injured individuals were rushed to Fez’s university hospital, while rescue teams continued their around-the-clock efforts to discover anyone still trapped beneath the rubble. Most of Morocco’s population, along with its key financial, industrial, and infrastructural sectors, are concentrated in the northwest of the country, leaving rural areas primarily dependent on agriculture, fishing, and tourism.

  • Top Buildings to Complete First in Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition

Top Buildings to Complete First in Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition

Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition revives the classic castle-building and siege mechanics from the original, enhanced with modern graphics and user-friendly features. Whether you’re revisiting the game or experiencing it for the first time, achieving victory in Crusader demands strategic foresight, smart management of resources, and a well-designed base.

One of the key early choices revolves around which structures to construct first. Focusing on the right buildings can establish a solid economic base, boost citizen morale, and ensure your military is well-prepared for any conflicts. Here, we’ll discuss the fundamental buildings to prioritize and their significance for your long-term success.

    Key Buildings to Focus On

When you start in Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition, laying down the right structures will greatly influence how well your campaign unfolds. Emphasizing food production, basic industries, and defensive capabilities guarantees that your economy flows smoothly while keeping your population fed and secure. Here are the most crucial buildings to consider early on:

    Granary

The Granary, costing five wood, should be one of your first placements. It can hold up to 1,000 food units, playing a vital role in ensuring your population stays happy and grows. A well-stocked Granary keeps your peasants loyal and productive, while lacking one can quickly lead to economic collapse.

    Woodcutter’s Hut

Wood serves as the main currency for early constructions, and woodcutters’ huts are relatively cheap at just three wood each. Establishing two or three huts in nearby forested areas will provide a constant supply of timber, necessary for everything from farms to fortifications.

    Hovel

Each Hovel costs six wood and accommodates eight peasants. As you advance, you’ll need additional workers to manage farms, workshops, and military structures. Gradually add more Hovels to align with your workforce demands; overbuilding without adequate food can decrease your popularity.

    Food Farms

Food farms, like Apple Orchards or Wheat Fields, are vital for maintaining your popularity, which directly affects population growth and tax acceptance. Apple Orchards, costing only five wood, are the quickest and easiest food source to establish. Position them close to your Granary and on suitable land, and consider diversifying with Dairy Farms later.

    Quarry

Stone is essential for constructing advanced defenses such as walls and towers. Although a Quarry requires a steeper investment of twenty wood, it provides a reliable long-term source of stone, essential for fortifying your base.

    Stockpile

Stockpiles can be built at no cost and are essential for storing wood, stone, and iron. Expanding them early on prevents resource shortages. A cluttered stockpile can hinder workers from depositing goods, crippling your economy.

    Armory

Establishing the Armory early is crucial as it stores weapons produced by your workshops, including bows, swords, and maces. Without it, the production from your blacksmiths will come to a halt. Keep this building close to your weapon workshops to streamline operations.

    Barracks

Once your Armory is set up, the Barracks becomes the core of your military operations. This is where you train basic soldiers with the weapons and gold you’ve accumulated. Getting this building up quickly is essential if you face early threats or want to launch fast attacks.

    Bedouin Stockade

This new Arabian structure allows you to recruit powerful mercenaries like Horse Archers and Sassanid Knights using gold instead of weapons. The Bedouin Stockade provides unique units like Healers and Eunuchs without the need to engage in lengthy weapon production processes, proving beneficial for rapid military advancement.

    Engineer’s Guild

The Engineer’s Guild is crucial for both siege warfare and fortification efforts. It enables the recruitment of Engineers who can construct siege equipment such as Ballistae and Catapults, and operate defensive devices like oil pots. Prioritizing this building is essential in late-game sieges or against heavily fortified enemies.

By understanding the importance of these foundational structures, you can build a more resilient and efficient stronghold in Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition, paving the way for victory.

  • Completing the Art of Solving Building Moves in Hollywood Animal

In Hollywood Animal, there’s a lot to tackle if you aspire to be the top film studio. Every decision you make contributes to your overall success, and there are countless choices to navigate as you start your filmmaking adventure.

Fortunately, we’re here to assist you. The foundation of your studio lies in establishing the right frameworks and supporting your team. We’ll guide you through creating new facilities and ensuring they’re properly staffed in Hollywood Animal! Setting up your layout might take time, but it isn’t set in stone, and we’ll also show you how to rearrange things as needed.

    How to Create New Facilities

To build a new facility, access the construction menu and explore the structures available for your studio. Construction that is already completed will be marked to prevent duplicate buildings.

Constructing a new facility requires significant financial investment and time, so make sure you’re prepared to commit before selecting a spot. Facilities will initially need space, but there can be some overlap in the surrounding areas.

Although structures can be relocated later, it can be a hassle.

Each facility uses power and water, so monitor your resources to ensure a stable supply for your studio. Running out can lead to complications!

Once a facility is built, any hiring needs will show up for you. Choose wisely to support your studio’s success.

    How to Accelerate Construction

Don’t want to wait over 2,000 days for your new building? You can speed things up by investing a large amount of money. By injecting tens of thousands of dollars at the start, you can slightly boost construction speed.

However, this will only minimally shorten the overall time, as it still takes a considerable time to complete new buildings and facilities.

Projects can be canceled at any point, but keep in mind you’ll lose all progress and have to start from scratch.

How to Relocate and Demolish Buildings

If you wish to relocate a facility, you must first demolish the existing structure. You won’t keep any materials or progress from it, so make sure about your decision before proceeding.

Afterward, you can reconstruct in a different location, but you will need to start from square one. It’s a tough reality, but at least the option to reorganize your studio is there for you and your team.

  • Essential Buildings to Prioritize in Assassin’s Creed Shadows Hideout

Essential Buildings to Prioritize in Assassin’s Creed Shadows Hideout

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is an expansive game filled with various gameplay mechanics, such as the need to gather resources for gear upgrades and to explore different map areas. The good news is that you can simplify the grind by utilizing the hideout, which serves as a crucial hub in the game.

As you settle into your hideout, you have the opportunity to construct different buildings that influence multiple gameplay features. You can also enhance these buildings, providing greater benefits while raising the overall level of your hideout.

    Unlocking the Hideout

Since the hideout is central to your experience in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, unlocking it is straightforward. You’ll start off with a lengthy prologue that takes a few hours to complete. During this time, you will meet Tomiko, and at the end of the prologue, she will offer her homestead to serve as your operational base for tracking down the Shinbakufu. This moment marks the official unlocking of the hideout and introduces the basic mechanics associated with it.

Once you’ve unlocked the hideout, it becomes available on your map as a fast travel point in the Izumi Settsu province. It’s advisable to visit frequently to stay updated on upgrades for both your hideout buildings and your gear.

    Constructing Hideout Buildings

Inside your hideout, you can either build or upgrade structures by accessing the central area and clicking the "Improve Hideout" button or by heading to the Hiroma building and interacting with a desk equipped with a lamp. By getting close to this desk, you’ll find the same option available.

When you first access the build menu, you’ll notice it is organized into various room types. There are six main rooms that provide essential buffs to enhance your gameplay, and you can also acquire themed rooms from different merchants scattered throughout the world.

To construct or upgrade these rooms, you’ll need a specific amount of crops, wood, and minerals. The best way to gather these resources is by raiding enemy territories and tagging stockpiles for your scouts.

Initially, the Hiroma and Stables will be built for you, and you can also create a Kakurega if you have the necessary resources. However, to construct a Study, Forge, or Dojo, you’ll need to progress through the story, recruit a blacksmith, and enlist an ally, respectively.

Here’s a brief overview of what each main and themed room provides:

    Room Type Name Effect
Main Rooms Stables Marks stockpiles during raiding, doubling resource collection.
Kakurega Enables new fast travel options and access to contracts, ration refills, and additional scouts.
Study Allows for increased scout capacity each season, essential for marking quest locations.
Forge Upgrades the gear of your characters.
Dojo Manages and upgrades ally abilities.
Themed Rooms Tera Provides a 10% experience boost from all sources.
Jinja Enhances the effects gained from praying at shrines, lasting for 15 additional minutes.
Nando Offers a 30% discount on scouts purchased at Kakurega.
Zashiki Increases healing from Ration usage.
Tea Room Also boosts healing effects.

In addition to the main rooms, you can also earn themed rooms of various sizes, which can be customized to your liking. In the build menu, you have the option to browse different tabs to find paths, decorations, trees, and pets you’ve collected during your adventures. These elements can enhance the appearance of your hideout, making it more visually pleasing. You can discover various decorative items, plants, and paths through exploration and trade with merchants. For pets, you may encounter dogs, cats, and other animals in your travels, and interacting with them allows you to add them to your hideout.

Additionally, by completing the "Thrown to the Dogs" side quest, you’ll unlock a dog named Tsuki-maru, which can also be included in your hideout.

    Prioritizing Upgrades in Your Hideout

When you build your main rooms, they initially come at a white rarity. With upgrades, all but the Hiroma can reach a blue rarity, implying that they can be improved twice. Such upgrades may either impose new limits or introduce fresh benefits related to each building. However, it’s essential to prioritize these upgrades wisely since they demand more resources compared to the initial construction.

Here’s the recommended order for upgrading different rooms, ranked by priority:

    Upgrade Priority Building Name Effect
1 Stables First Upgrade Allows one scout to mark stockpiles, effectively doubling resource collection.
2 Forge First Upgrade Lets you upgrade gear to level 40 and adds the option for non-legendary engravings.
3 Study First Upgrade Increases your scout capacity by one.
4 Dojo First Upgrade Enables two ally ability slots.
5 Forge Second Upgrade Upgrades gear to level 60, enabling legendary engravings.
6 Stables Second Upgrade Offers 20% more resources when tagging stockpiles.
7 Study Second Upgrade Provides another scout slot and reduces quest search zones by 60%.
8 Kakurega First Upgrade Grants provincial rumors while inside Kakurega and lets two scouts clear the "wanted" effect.
9 Dojo Second Upgrade Unlocks an extra ability for each ally at a cost in Mon.
10 Kakurega Second Upgrade Unlocks more Kakurega locations across the map and reduces their unlocking costs.

    Understanding Hideout Levels

Beyond the effects gained from constructing and upgrading your hideout, there is also a hideout level system. You’ll find your current level displayed in the top left corner of the building menu. As you create or upgrade both main and themed rooms, you earn XP toward this level.

Increasing your hideout level unlocks additional gameplay benefits. Here’s what you can expect as you progress:

    1. Starting level with no special effects.
    2. Scouts bring back some Mon when seasons reset.
    3. Shrine boon lasts an extra 15 minutes.
    4. Scouts also retrieve hideout resources upon season resets.
    5. You can engrave gear at a discounted rate.
    6. Scouts now deliver crafting resources after a season reset.
    7. Full health and adrenaline replenishment at any Kakurega.
    8. Scouts can collect gear after season resets.
    9. Upgrading gear at a reduced cost.
    10. Scouts will bring seasonal crafting materials when marking stockpiles.

By the time you’ve attained all these upgrades, you’ll be well into your journey, making future gameplay significantly smoother.
