A tragic hit-and-run has resulted in the death of actress Kianna Underwood.
Kianna Underwood, who appeared in the final season of Nickelodeon’s “All That,” has been identified by multiple media outlets as the victim of a hit-and-run incident that occurred on Friday morning in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Brownsville. The NYPD confirmed that a female victim was declared dead at the scene. She was 33 years old.
According to TMZ, Kianna Underwood was crossing the street at the intersection of Pitkin and Mother Gaston Blvd. just before 7 a.m. when she was struck by a vehicle. She was subsequently dragged for nearly two blocks. The driver, who fled the scene, has not yet been taken into custody.
Underwood appeared in seven episodes of the popular sketch comedy show “All That” alongside Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon, and Kenan Thompson in 2005. She also guest-starred in an episode of Nickelodeon’s “Little Bill,” a cartoon series created by Bill Cosby. She provided the voice for Fuchsia Glover, the cousin of the main character, in 23 episodes from 1999 to 2004.
“All That” was a Nickelodeon children’s series that aired from 1994 to 2005, showcasing short comedic sketches and musical performances aimed at young audiences. Many child and teenage actors on the show played parodies of pop culture figures.
Kianna Underwood was born in New York City and starred in Nancy Savoca’s 1999 comedy film “The 24-Hour Woman,” alongside actors like Rosie Perez, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, and Patti LuPone. She also lent her voice to the animated TV movie “Santa, Baby” in 2001.
Later, she toured with the musical “Hairspray,” further showcasing her versatile talents as an actress and performer.
