  • Top Locations for Farming Rusted Bolts in Arc Raiders and Solving Challenges

    In Arc Raiders, you’ll come across various random materials during your journey. While many have an immediate use, some only become valuable after months of gathering. One of these materials is Rusted Bolts, an uncommon item needed to complete the first stage of the Trophy Display. Luckily, there are several locations where you can find Rusted Bolts so you can finish this quest.

    Where to Find Rusted Bolts

    Rusted Bolts are classified as both an Industrial and Mechanical material. They are most likely to appear in loot spots marked with these types of items. Through testing, some locations proved more reliable, so these are the best places to explore first when hunting for Rusted Bolts:

    • Vehicle Maintenance and Container Storage in Spaceport
    • Power Generation Complex in Dam Battlegrounds
    • Loading Bay in Stella Montis

    Among these, the Spaceport is the best place to search, especially in Vehicle Maintenance. This area has many containers, lockers, and small bins that can be looted. Smaller bins inside shipping containers tend to spawn Rusted Bolts more often in my experience. Overall, the Spaceport is an ideal starting point if you’re looking for this material.

    Alternatively, if the breachable room on the top floor of Container Storage isn’t looted, it can be a good spot. This room has a lot of bins and drawers to rummage through for Rusted Bolts. Keep in mind, Container Storage is a busy PvP area, so be prepared for possible fights if you’re not playing solo.

    In Dam Battlegrounds, the Power Generation Complex is a preferred location because of its size and the abundance of loot-filled metal containers. These containers often contain Rusted Bolts. Focus your search on the underground eastern side of the complex, where a hallway outside the control room has a group of metal boxes you can breach.

    Water Treatment Control is also somewhat useful, but unless you spawn close to it, the area is often looted. Outside the western room, there aren’t many spots where you can find Rusted Bolts. If you spawn farther from Power Generation Complex, Water Treatment Control can serve as a decent alternative worth a quick check before you exit.

    Stella Montis is another map where Rusted Bolts are commonly found. The Loading Bay area has numerous shipping containers across multiple floors. These containers contain bins along the sides that often hold Rusted Bolts, with usually two or three bins per container.

    Tip: Be sure to check all floors of the Loading Bay, but watch out for the Bastion and Shredder roaming the lowest level. If they are still active, it’s best to only search the second and third floors to avoid unnecessary combat.

    Currently, in Arc Raiders, there’s no method to craft or directly purchase Rusted Bolts. You’ll need to find them through gameplay. The good news is, you only need three Rusted Bolts to contribute to the Trophy Display. Once you have these three, you can submit them immediately upon extraction, saving inventory space while continuing your search for more Rusted Bolts.

    Fallout 76 features several creatures that can be both impressive and intimidating, especially for new players. One notable creature returning from earlier parts of the series is the Yao Guai.

    Yao Guai look like mutated bears and come in various types. Despite their differences, all of them can serve a purpose, whether it’s cooking their meat into Yao Guai ribs or other uses. However, they aren’t easy to find. We’ve tracked down a few locations where you’ll have a good chance of encountering these creatures.

    Where to Find Yao Guai

    Yao Guai appear at fewer regular spawn points compared to many other creatures in the game, and some of their locations don’t always guarantee their presence.

    Important Locations with Guaranteed Yao Guai Spawns:

    • Mountainside Bed and Breakfast — This location often has two Yao Guai at once.
    • Dolly Sods Wilderness — Located in the east part of the map.
    • Site Alpha — Found in the east-central area.
    • Mountainside Bed and Breakfast — Located in the south-central region.

    While Yao Guai tend to roam around these spots, they don’t stay in the same place all the time. It can take a moment of patience to find them, as they usually follow known routes. Spending enough time in one location increases your chances of spotting these creatures, as they tend to follow predictable paths.

    Since Yao Guai are a bit more difficult to track down than creatures like Mole Rats, it’s important to make the most of what you gather from them. Use all the resources and strategies available to increase your chances of surviving encounters and making use of their valuable materials.

  • Top Locations for Completing and Solving Music Albums in Arc Raiders

    The new Flickering Flames event is now live in Arc Raiders. Players can experience the Cold Snap event, complete a new project, and even have fun throwing snowballs at each other! Similar to the Expedition, you’ll need to gather various materials to donate. Many of these items are things you didn’t think much about before, but now they’re important.

    One key item you’ll need is the Music Album. To finish the final step of the Flickering Flames project, you’ll need to collect two of these. Here’s where to find them so you don’t waste time wandering aimlessly.

    Where to Find Music Albums

    Look for Music Albums in places that have either Residential or Commercial materials. This narrows your search to specific spots across the five maps. The best locations are:

    • Village on The Blue Gate
    • Departure Building at the Spaceport
    • Plaza Rosa or Grandiosa Apartments in Buried City

    Of these, the Village on The Blue Gate is the best place to find any kind of Residential or Commercial items. It has many buildings with multiple apartments inside. Check lockers, dressers, cabinets, or suitcases—these often contain trinket-like materials needed for the project.

    Spaceport also has good spots for Commercial loot. The Departure Building is particularly useful because it’s spread across several floors with offices and many desks to loot. The Arrival Building is similar and also worth exploring.

    Buried City is probably the most consistent place for trinkets. Almost the entire southern part of the map is filled with Residential and Commercial sites. The Grandiosa Apartments and Plaza Rosa are obvious choices, especially the pharmacy on the second floor of Plaza Rosa, which has numerous dressers.

    Many players overlook the second floor of the Hospital. There’s a room on the northern end with lots of lockers. While the Hospital mainly has medical supplies, these lockers often contain trinkets like the Music Album, making it a prime spot.

    Try to find the Albums during Night Raids or the Cold Snap event if possible. These events increase the chances of finding rare items, so you’re more likely to collect multiple Albums in one run. Remember to bring an Augment and store the Albums in your Safe Pocket to ensure they stay safe for donation.

    Top Spots for Completing Moss Farming in Arc Raiders

    There are many items you can gather in Arc Raiders to help you survive the dangers on the surface. From weapons and shields to medicine, you’ll need to gather lots of supplies as you work through the game’s more dangerous maps, quests, and events.

    One material you’ll probably overlook early on is Moss, which is only used to make Defibrillators. While this might not seem important at first, Defibrillators can really turn the tide in player-versus-player fights and are especially helpful on the latest map, Stella Montis. Here’s how to find Moss and the best spots to farm for it.

    Where to Find Moss

    Moss is a Nature item, meaning it can spawn in any area marked with a leaf icon. The best place to farm for Moss is the Hydroponic Dome Complex in Dam Battlegrounds. Inside this area, head to the large spherical domes and search inside them.

    Focus your search on the big cylindrical shelves pictured above, as they usually contain 1 or 2 pieces of Moss. When you loot these, a small search animation will play, so make sure you’re in a safe spot first. Also, check baskets and bins because Moss can sometimes appear there too.

    The best time to find Moss is during a Lush Bloom event at Dam Battlegrounds because it almost guarantees getting at least one Moss from the cylindrical containers. It’s also easier to farm during the daytime since you’re less likely to get ambushed solo, and Moss is not usually a highly prioritized item for other players.

    It’s a good idea to grab Moss whenever you see it while passing through, especially if you’re playing with others. Defibrillators can revive teammates instantly and restore some health, making a big difference during chaotic PvP battles. A well-timed defib might save your whole team or help you walk away with loot.

    To craft a Defibrillator, you need one Moss and nine Plastic Parts. You can only make it after upgrading your Medical Station to Level 2, and no Blueprint is needed. Moss can’t be bought, recycled, or crafted elsewhere — you have to go out and find it yourself!
