Ronaldo Supports Video Accusing FIFA of Bias Toward Argentina

Digital Phablet – Recently, Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo stirred controversy by reportedly liking an Instagram post accusing FIFA of corruption. The post alleged that the organization and its president, Gianni Infantino, assisted Argentina in reaching the 2026 World Cup final.

Ronaldo’s online activity quickly made waves across social media platforms, though he has not publicly addressed his stance. Beyond his personal opinion, Argentina’s national team has faced repeated accusations of favoritism, with many fans pointing fingers at FIFA and fueling conspiracy theories online.

His action of liking the post has reignited a long-standing rivalry between him and Argentina’s Lionel Messi.

In a tweet, Mario Nawfal shared, “🇵🇹🇦🇷 Cristiano Ronaldo liked a video claiming FIFA is outright corrupt, helping Argentina get to the final. Targeting Infantino and the entire setup for Messi. The rivalry never ends. CR7 throwing shade from the sidelines.”

A social media user on X (formerly Twitter) commented, “That’s why he’s the GOAT — he’s the only one brave enough to stand up to corruption and has been exposing FIFA for years. Why act surprised now? He did it during the Argentina scandal.”

Another user wrote, “Everyone saw the corruption with their own eyes. Well done, Ronaldo. Respect for him has only grown after this World Cup.”

Following Argentina’s dramatic 3-2 victory over Egypt in the round of 16, claims of FIFA favoritism intensified. Egypt led 2-0 before Argentina mounted a comeback, scoring three goals in the second half. The refereeing decisions drew scrutiny, with questionable VAR calls—including a disallowed goal and denied penalty for Egypt.

Egyptian coach Hossam Hassan accused French referee François Letexier of bias, suggesting the match was “rigged” to favor Argentina. Hassan stated, “Maybe they wanted to keep the reigning champions in the tournament. Maybe they wanted Messi to stay in the hunt.”

Additionally, Mostafa Ziko, whose goal was disallowed, told reporters post-match, “The referee was unfair and undermined the efforts of an entire nation. The trophy is going to Argentina.” Since then, fans have jokingly dubbed Argentina “VARgentina” in reference to the controversial officiating.

How did he know? An X post from 2021 has resurfaced on social media after users noticed it accurately predicted that Argentina would face Spain in the 2026 World Cup final.

Recently, Argentina scored two goals against England, securing their spot in the final. Fans criticized England after they shifted to a defensive strategy following a single goal conceded to Emiliano Martínez, which gave Argentina more chances to score against Pickford. On the other hand, Spain advanced to the final by defeating France 2-0, thanks to excellent defending by Marc Cucurella. Social media has been flooded with predictions about who will win the next World Cup, but one post from 2021 went viral.

The post sparked debate and suspicion about the user’s identity after they also claimed that Argentina would beat Spain 3-2 on July 19. User “dilemma” wrote, “Argentina just beat Spain in the 2026 World Cup final, 3-2.” A commenter responded, “How is this even possible to predict? WOW!” Another asked, “You tweeted this before the 2022 World Cup, who is your source, please?”

Video: Boy Gets Stuck in Frieza Costume After Mom Uses Latex Paint

A young boy garnered widespread attention on social media after a Halloween costume project went awry when his mother used latex paint to transform him into Frieza, the notorious villain from Dragon Ball. Unfortunately, removing the paint proved to be much more challenging than expected.

Videos displaying the boy covered in white and purple latex paint rapidly circulated online. The footage revealed visible remnants of paint on his skin, illustrating her failed attempt to scrub it off, leaving him stuck in the character’s iconic fourth form.

According to TV Azteca, the incident took place in Argentina, where the child’s parents used regular latex household paint, mistakenly believing that it would come off easily with water.

While social media users expressed concern and shared potential solutions in the comment sections, no reports indicate that the boy was able to free himself from the paint’s grip.

The viral video elicited a variety of reactions. One user on X (formerly Twitter) commented, “She’s a pretty cool mom, though. Some parents wouldn’t even go to these lengths for a school costume.”

Another person added, “It looks like they’re going to be stuck like that for a while. Peeling obviously isn’t an option. Soap and water aren’t going to do the trick. Thank goodness he doesn’t have a latex allergy. THINK! Do people even think anymore?”

  • Liam Payne, ex-One Direction Star, Dies at 31 in Argentina Accident

Liam Payne, a former member of One Direction, has tragically passed away after falling from the third floor of his hotel in Argentina, as reported by local police.

Authorities stated that they received a distress call regarding a “violent individual who may have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol.”

Alberto Crescenti, the head of Buenos Aires Emergency Medical Services, told ABC News that emergency responders were dispatched Wednesday evening to assist a man displaying erratic behavior possibly due to intoxication.

Upon arrival, responders discovered Payne’s body in the hotel’s inner courtyard and confirmed his death at the scene. The police mentioned that they heard a loud thud when they arrived. The deceased was later taken to a morgue.

Crescenti informed a local media outlet that Payne fell approximately 42 to 45 feet, suffering injuries that were described as “very serious” and “not survivable.” He noted that help reached the location at 5:11 p.m. local time, just seven minutes after the emergency call.

Liam Payne was only 31 years old at the time of his passing. He was part of the famous boy band alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik.

Payne first gained attention in 2008 when he auditioned for the ITV talent show The X Factor, but judge Simon Cowell encouraged him to return two years later. In 2010, after impressing the judges, he was teamed up with four other contestants during boot camp, which led to the creation of One Direction.

During their career, the group achieved significant success, releasing four number one albums and four number one singles before announcing a hiatus in 2015.

In 2017, Payne launched his solo career with the single “Strip That Down,” which debuted at number three on the Official UK Chart. He also enjoyed success with “For You,” a duet with Rita Ora featured in the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack, which made the top ten.

In 2016, he married Cheryl Cole, a member of Girls Aloud, and the couple welcomed their son, Bear, the following year. Unfortunately, they separated in 2018.

  • Was Liam Payne’s Death a Tragic Suicide or Foul Play?

Was Liam Payne’s Death a Tragic Suicide or Foul Play?

Following the tragic death of Liam Payne, who fell from the third floor of a hotel in Argentina, social media is buzzing with speculation about whether the One Direction singer took his own life or was the victim of foul play.

A user on X (formerly Twitter), Matt Wallace, highlighted a 2017 statement where Payne expressed his fear of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs after allegedly “witnessing evil.” Diddy, an American rapper known for his controversial headlines, is currently incarcerated due to accusations of sexual assault and sex trafficking.

In the interview from 2017, Payne recounted, “I went over to speak to him and Jay-Z, and as I shook his hand, he just chuckled… the most evil laugh I’ve ever heard,” adding, “So I’m a little bit afraid of that man.”

Was Liam Payne’s death a suicide or homicide?

Many users took to various social media platforms to dismiss these theories, with some saying:

“After reading his interview in his own words, it’s clear Diddy had nothing to do with this.”

“Nah, it’s more likely he took his life given the intense abuse he has faced online the past few weeks.”

According to local police in Argentina, the 31-year-old Payne, who gained fame as a member of One Direction, died after falling from a hotel balcony. Authorities later indicated that he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the tragic incident.

A hotel employee called 911, reporting that an “aggressive” man was causing a disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers heard a loud thud from the hotel’s courtyard, leading them to discover that Payne had fallen. The police confirmed that the body was transported to the morgue.

The band One Direction, originally made up of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne, disbanded after a series of disagreements that strained their personal relationships, especially following Malik’s exit.
