    The surprising announcement by LG and Samsung to launch fully transparent television has wreaked havoc in the tech industry.

    At CES 2024 in Las Vegas, the famous soKoreanrean electronic manufacturer LG on Monday, announced its wireless glass-like appearance device.

    In the morning press conference on Monday, The company showcased the 77-inch wireless screen onstage before the conference halls were open to the public.

    The LG Signature OLEF-T, the first ever 4k, wireles transparent TV was unveiled. The glass-like Television is built to stand in the middle of a room.

    The see-through television, when turned on, is viewed like a window that’s playing the movie on it or turned opaque, so the wall behind is no longer viewable.

    LG’s Frank Lee stated that ‘OLED T creates a sense of openness. The room will not be dominated by TVs. This creates a unique space within a room. He further stated that the TV is more than just a screen.

    Lee further added that ‘OLED T also becomes an object of Design, 4K TV, Wireless,n. You can install it in any location you want, it will fit seamlessly.

    The LG’s wireless glass panel remains near the wall, showcasing bright visuals and sound to the screen, making it move freely in the middle of the room.

    The new Aloha 11 chip installed in the OLED T uses AI to cater to a 70 percent improvement in graphic performance and 30 percent faster processor speed as opposed to the previous generation chip.

    The price of the television is not yet disclosed however if the $87000 price tag on its 65-inch wireless 8K OLED TV is anything to go by, it is predicted to be easily over $100,000.

    The TV doesn’t require a power cord however a good thing is that there are no HDMI cords between the box and the screen to create the mess.

    The box stays connected to the wall, while the glass panel can be put close by. The audio and video signals from the box are sent by the wireless antenna of 60 GHz.
