How Many Chapters Are in 007 First Light and Completing the Game?

“007 First Light” is the latest game from IO Interactive, telling the story of how James Bond became the secret agent known worldwide through books and movies. In this game, you’ll explore exotic places, take on various villains, use impressive gadgets, and jump into intense gunfights.

Mixing the open-ended gameplay of Hitman with the action and adventure style of Uncharted, “007 First Light” offers a straightforward but highly fun experience from beginning to end. However, at a price of $70, it can be hard to decide whether to buy a new game right when it releases. If you’re wondering what kind of content “007 First Light” offers and how long it takes to finish, here’s what you need to know.

    ### How Long Does It Take To Beat?

If you’re only interested in the main story, it will take around 12 to 14 hours depending on your skill. Your speed can vary more if you choose a higher difficulty level like Purist, which is the hardest setting. This mode makes enemies tougher and requires more precise combat skills.

Most players will likely finish the campaign in about 15 hours or less on normal difficulty. As you progress, unlocks like the TacSim mode become available. This mode functions as a challenge replay, where you complete specific objectives in combat and stealth scenarios to improve your score. Doing well here grants new cosmetics, gear, and weapons for continued play. It’s a fun way to keep busy if you enjoy the game’s stealth and combat parts.

    ### How Long Does It Take To 100%?

There are two ways to get all the achievements in “007 First Light.” If you’re only going for the trophies, it will add about 4 to 5 extra hours. Collecting all trophies isn’t too difficult; many can be earned in one playthrough, especially if you follow guides for finding collectibles.

The other way involves completing all challenges, including TacSim challenges and special actions during fights. These are relatively simple but will take around 10 to 15 more hours. Each level has optional challenges, like taking alternate routes or causing specific events, which aren’t needed for trophies but are necessary if you want to fully complete the game.

    ### How Many Chapters Are There?

“007 First Light” has 17 main chapters. Their lengths can vary from just a few minutes to about 15-20 minutes, depending on how much you explore. You can return to any chapter or sub-chapter through the main menu if you want to replay certain parts without spoiling the story.

Here is the list of main chapter titles:

    1. Against The Odds
    2. In His Majesty’s Secret Service
    3. The Needle’s Eye
    4. The Heart Of The Matter
    5. A New Home
    6. A Night Out
    7. A Matter Of Considerable Delicacy
    8. All The Time In The World
    9. Out Of The Ashes

    13. Going Old School
    14. Time To Die
    15. Man Of The Hour
    16. Wave Of The Future

Where to Find All Legacy Collectibles in 007 First Light and Complete the Game

007 First Light has launched, bringing players into action to fight henchmen, operate advanced gadgets, and engage in exciting chases. Set during the early days of James Bond’s career, this game takes players around the world through its story mission.

As you progress, you’ll find various collectibles scattered throughout the game. One special type is the Legacy collectibles, which pay tribute to previous Bond films. There are nine of these in total, and collecting them unlocks the “A Legacy in Spycraft” achievement.

    All Legacy Collectible Locations

The game features only nine Legacy collectibles, the fewest among all collectible types, making this a straightforward achievement to earn since it isn’t tied to the main story. They are marked on your HUD with a small white dot, and when you approach and interact with any of these items, they will instantly appear in your Collectibles menu. You don’t need to pick them up physically; just viewing them counts.

Here’s where to find all nine Legacy collectibles in 007 First Light:

    1. Cruciform Key — Against The Odds

Located in the camp where you’re rescuing hostages. Head to the center of the camp, find the large white container, and go inside through the open window. The Cruciform Key is just to the right of the large shattered TV inside.

    2. Chess Biography — All The Time In The World

Exploring the hotel during the chess tournament, go two floors down to the opposite side. Enter the small lounge above the front entrance where people are sitting. The Chess Biography book is on a small table next to the couch.

    3. Uninvited — Concert Poster

During the Uninvited mission, infiltrate the gala by stealing someone’s invitation. Once inside the cafe with the large bar, go to the back right corner. You will find the Concert Poster on a table in the back left of the room.

    4. Blades Club Badge — Knightfall

While playing Knightfall, reach Webb’s penthouse. The Blades Club Badge is on the bar to the right when you first enter Webb’s penthouse.

    5. Tarort Deck — Time To Die

During the Time to Die mission, infiltrate Ramon’s villa. After talking to Ramon and exploring the house, go to the bedroom. The Tarot Deck is on the nightstand beside his bed.

    6. Jaws Design Spec — Wave Of The Future

In the Wave of the Future mission, once you arrive in the robotics department and finish the demonstration, explore the area to the left. The Jaws Design Spec is sitting on a black container nearby.

    7. The Crypto Wallet (Side-Quest)

During the same mission, progress through the side-quest to the point where you need to sync a wallet to a tower. Carefully shimmy along a beam covered by a blue tarp instead of climbing. Drop onto the small beam and walk across to find the ATAC device on a tiny outcrop.

    8. Unnamed Collectible (Specific Location Not Provided)

While exploring the game, some collectibles are placed in unique spots such as inside buildings or on notable items like a sculpture, but detailed specifics are not provided here.

    9. Additional Items

Other collectibles include items like certain books, posters, or badges found during various levels, often on furniture or hidden behind objects. Carefully look for them in notable locations as you explore.

By visiting these locations and interacting with each item, you’ll unlock all nine Legacy collectibles. They are small in number, making this a quick and rewarding achievement to add to your collection.

  • Where To Find All 14 Mementos in 007 First Light: Solving Complete Collection

Where To Find All 14 Mementos in 007 First Light: Solving Complete Collection

007 First Light is a stealth adventure game that puts you in James Bond’s shoes during the early part of his spy career. As you progress, you’ll face off against villains, solve puzzles, and fight through different locations worldwide.

During your mission, you’ll find various collectibles. These not only help you learn more about the story but also unlock achievements. One such achievement is called “Recovered Assets,” which you earn after finding all 14 Mementos in the game. Below, you’ll find all the locations of these Mementos, making it easier to gather them without wandering aimlessly.

All Memento Locations — Recovered Assets

Similar to legacy items, Mementos are physical objects hidden throughout the levels in 007 First Light. There are 14 in total, and multiple Mementos can be in a single mission. Here’s a list of every Memento to help you find them easily.

    Satellite Part

    • During the opening mission, near the back left corner of the base, you’ll find a green G9 trailer. Inside, a guard will be standing with his back turned. Knock him out, approach the computer table, and you’ll spot the Satellite Part next to the screen.

    Cocktail Napkin

    • In the nightclub where your first mission takes place, go to the bar where you meet your contact. After talking, you’ll be instructed to use the bathroom; before heading there, quickly grab the napkin on the back counter to avoid detection.

All The Time In The World (Pillow Mint)

    • In the hotel, after the first floor, look for the bedroom with the chess match. Use Q-Lens to spot a staff member with a yellow key. Poison him with a dart, then pickpocket the key. The Pillow Mint is located on a shelf near the cleaning cart outside the staff door.

    Championship Badge

    • Still in the hotel, once you’re exploring the top floor, head downstairs behind the referee’s station. Behind a black crate next to a locked door, you’ll find this badge sitting on top.

    Pirate Grillz

    • During the mission “The Past Never Dies,” earn $100,000 in the black market. The stall selling Pirate Grillz is directly across from your location after you’ve amassed the money. Purchase them for $1,000, then return to grab the Memento.

    Crocodile Tooth

    • After escaping the crocodile pit with Greenway, Bawma will escort you back to the Land Rover. Before getting inside, grab the Crocodile Tooth on the table behind the vehicle.

    Tero Murto Locket

    • At the start of “Man Of The Hour,” after the opening cutscene, go to the desk below. The Niko Murto Locket is resting on the left side of the desk.

    Niko Murto Locket

    • Found after defeating Bawma in the basement of “Uninvited.” Exit the boss fight area, and in the following room, a white box on a table contains the Restoration Room Keycard. Use it to open the door across, where you’ll find the locket on a table.

    Anniversary Pin

    • During “Uninvited,” reach the second floor into the gala. Head to the left side of the room where the press and café are, eavesdrop on the guards, and after the challenge “Always On Duty,” go to the coat check room. Inside, the pin is on a cart.

    Snow Globe

    • In “Wave of the Future,” when getting two ID bracelets in the cable car station, approach the reception desk. The Snow Globe is sitting on the right side of the counter.

    “For England” Model Car

    • Near the end of the mission “For England,” inside the Q-Lab when fighting enemies, go to the wardrobe room. Across from the changing rooms, on a table, you’ll find a model car.

    Additional Mementos (Examples)

    • Many Mementos are on tables, shelves, or tucked into hidden spots within the levels. For instance, in levels like “Knightfall,” you can find the Office Toy on a table in the office area after passing through a vent. In “Knightfall,” the Office Toy is located on a table after navigating a vent and passing the level’s sensors.

With this guide, you should be able to track down all the collectibles needed to unlock the Recovered Assets achievement and enjoy a complete experience in 007 First Light.

  • All Ocean View & Yoga Storage Keys in 007 First Light: Complete Solving Guide

All Ocean View & Yoga Storage Keys in 007 First Light: Complete Solving Guide

In 007 First Light, you will explore several exotic locations at your own pace. This gives you the freedom to approach objectives or collect items however you prefer, and interact with the game’s open-world environment.

One of these locations appears during the Time to Die mission, where you infiltrate a resort in Vietnam. During your stay, you will find multiple locked areas that require specific keys to open. Here’s where to find all the keys and what they unlock.

All Time To Die Key Locations

    Yoga Storage Key Location

In Tranquility Cave, the yoga storage room is locked. The key to open it is easy to get—you just need to pick it from an employee. The employee can be caught eavesdropping in the cave; he will then go stretch on a nearby platform below.

To distract him and steal the key, use the Dart Phone. Shooting him once will make him sick and distracted, so you can approach and press the action button (Y on Xbox or Triangle on PlayStation) to pickpocket the key. After obtaining it, you can enter the storage room to change disguises using the yoga mat. Inside, you will also find a collectible: the 9 of Roses playing card, located on the counter left of the door.

    Ocean View Minibar Key Location

The next key is for the Ocean View Minibar. Head to the Velvet Lantern bar, situated just below a large pool where some staff are cleaning the deck. When you arrive, both employees at the bar will be facing the entrance and will stop you if you try to sneak past.

To get by, distract or shoot one of the employees using your Dart Phone or Laser Strap. This will lure them away, allowing you to slip into the storage room behind their position. Crouch behind the boxes, then turn on the hose near the red toolbox to make one of the employees investigate, giving you an opening to pass.

Alternatively, you can get caught and choose the “Bluff” option to buy extra time for the theft. The key is taped to an open cabinet door next to the sink and map. Once you have it, climb over the crates to bypass the employees blocking your path.

This key unlocks the minibar where Ellis is drinking. When you arrive, Ellis will complain about being cut off. Using the key, open the minibar, earn his trust, and then plant a tracker in his drink to continue your mission.

These are the only two keys you will find during Time to Die. Since both are essential for completing the main story objectives, try to get them early to save time and avoid searching the entire map.

  • How To Beat Murto During Uninvited in 007 First Light by Completing and Solving

How To Beat Murto During Uninvited in 007 First Light by Completing and Solving

“007 First Light” has been released, so it’s time to get dressed in your best suit, prepare a laser watch, and get ready to take down some unnamed henchmen. The game covers the early years of James Bond’s career as an MI6 agent, featuring a mix of sneaky stealth and intense action scenes.

Most of your gameplay will have you sneaking around beautiful, exotic locations. But there will also be moments when you need to confront enemies directly. One of these moments is during your second fight with Murto in the museum basement during the “Uninvited” mission. Here’s how to defeat him if you’re having trouble taking him down.

    ### How To Defeat Murto

The fight with Murto is a complex game of hide-and-seek. You start unarmed, and fighting him face-to-face will only get you killed. Instead, you need to sneak around the storage room below the museum and find ways to harm him using the environment. Your success depends on the gadgets you have with you, as some work better against Murto than others.

When the fight begins, if you have the Laser Strap or Dart Phone, look to your right and up at the chandelier. Wait for Murto to walk underneath it, then use your gadget to drop the chandelier on him. This will take away one of his health bars, so don’t rush to attack him when he’s stunned.

If you don’t have the Laser Strap, go left and squeeze through a gap in the shelves to reach an area with two big lights. Wait for Murto to come in front of one, then use your watch to hack it. This will cause the light to shoot fire at him, causing damage. There are two such lights, so if he avoids one, reposition and wait for him to approach the second.

You can tell when Murto is in trap range because a yellow triangle with an exclamation point will appear over him when looking at him through your Q-Lens.

Between the traps, you’ll need to move quickly, as Murto will be searching the room at a rapid pace. Be cautious because the room is filled with motion sensors. Walking in front of them will trigger them, flash red, and cause Murto to charge toward you. These sensors can be deadly, so always stay alert.

You also have the option to hack the motion sensors to set them off intentionally, drawing Murto toward you. This tactic is helpful because the room is large and sometimes difficult to lure him into certain areas. Additionally, you can hack the radio devices around the room to play sounds that will attract Murto, but be careful not to stand too close to the radios when doing this.

Murto’s detection range is wide, so if you walk directly in front of him, he’s likely to spot you and open fire. If that happens, quickly move to another part of the room to hide until he loses track of you. To fully deplete his health, you will need to trigger three different traps with Murto nearby.

Once you’ve managed to hit all the traps and reduce his health, a cutscene will trigger, ending with Murto defeated. There’s no extra fight or phase afterward.

After beating him, head into the open room on the right outside the storage area. You will find a box in the back corner containing the Restoration Room Keycard. Use this keycard to open the door across from you, where you’ll find the Tero Murto Locket on a table.

  • American James Bond Not Portraying 007

American James Bond Not Portraying 007

Amazon MGM Studios is carefully taking its time developing a new James Bond film. Although they now have creative control over the iconic franchise, they haven’t rushed to recast the role last played by Daniel Craig. During this extended break, there’s been a lot of speculation about who might step into the legendary spy’s shoes.

That talk has even crossed the Atlantic, leading to questions about whether Glen Powell might become the first American to portray James Bond. Powell, who has become one of Hollywood’s top stars, is not interested in taking on the role.

“I’m a Texan. A Texan shouldn’t play James Bond,” Powell shared. “My family and I joke about it. I could play Jimmy Bond, but I shouldn’t be the one in the tuxedo. It’s more fitting for an authentic Brit to take on that part—that’s who belongs in that role.”

Powell’s stance—that Bond should always be played by a British actor—might bring relief to many viewers who were uncertain about the franchise’s future direction. Even with Powell’s rising popularity in Hollywood, there are no signs that Amazon will consider American actors for the iconic secret agent. The tradition of casting a Brit as Bond remains strong, and it seems unlikely that will change anytime soon.

  • Henry Cavill’s James Bond Audition Leaks Online Should He Be 007

Henry Cavill almost traded in his cape for a tuxedo.

Back in 2005, Cavill auditioned for the iconic role of James Bond in Casino Royale. Director Martin Campbell revealed that Cavill and Daniel Craig were the top contenders to succeed Pierce Brosnan as 007. What Cavill’s take on Bond might have been has been a topic of speculation for many years, and now, thanks to a leaked video, fans can finally catch a glimpse.

In this recently surfaced audition, posted on Ron South’s YouTube channel, Cavill, at just 22 years old with long black hair, is seen performing lines from a scene in the 1995 movie GoldenEye. According to the description accompanying the video, it was sourced from a “VHS tape found in a recycling bin at a movie studio.”

Ultimately, Craig took home the role, portraying the beloved spy across five films. Producers chose a more mature interpretation of Bond, opting for Craig, who was 37 during the audition, rather than a character in his early twenties. Despite not landing the role, Cavill impressed Campbell, who described his audition as “tremendous.”

“He looked fantastic during the audition. His acting was remarkable,” Campbell stated to The Express in June 2023. “And let’s be honest, if Daniel didn’t exist, Henry would have made a superb Bond. He was in excellent shape, very handsome, and chiseled. He just appeared slightly young for the role at that moment.”

Even now, Cavill is still frequently mentioned in discussions about the next James Bond, as Eon Productions searches for the actor to succeed Craig. Producer Barbara Broccoli recently indicated that the next Bond will likely be in his 30s, which may eliminate Cavill, who is currently 41.

As for the next installment of the James Bond franchise, a release date has yet to be announced.
