Google Ads has introduced new features that allow advertisers to preview their ads with enhanced filtering options by assets. Additionally, users can now see examples of text customizations and final URL expansions directly within the advertiser console. These updates were highlighted by Arpan Banerjee, who shared his findings across Digital Phablet and social media platforms.
According to Banerjee, asset selection has become a part of the ad preview process, providing more control over how ads are viewed before launching. While the official help documentation has referenced assets in the ad preview tool for some time, it remains uncertain whether the ability to filter assets within the preview is a recent addition.
He also pointed out that the platform now enables side-by-side comparisons of text customization options and URL expansions, giving advertisers a clearer view of how their final ad will appear. Visual examples demonstrate these previews, enhancing the user experience for campaign management. These developments appear to streamline the process of reviewing and refining ads directly within the platform.
