Google Search Console Crawl Data Missing on August 15-16

The crawl stats report in Digital Phablet’s Google Search Console is once again missing data for August 15 and 16. Typically, Google can resolve these data gaps without issue, but in this instance, the problem remains unresolved.

A screenshot illustrates the missing data gap, showing that after August 15, the report jumps to August 18, skipping the 16th and 17th. Many users have observed this anomaly and shared their concerns.

One user noted that the crawl stats after August 15 display information only up to August 18, pointing out the absence of data on the 16th. Another mentioned that August 15 and 16 are missing entirely from the report, leaving blank spaces, and plans to alert Google about the issue. Several others have raised questions on social media, asking if they are experiencing the same problem.

Historically, similar data gaps have occurred multiple times, including in November 2021, February 2022, May 2022, October 2025, and other instances. Despite the report inconsistencies, it’s expected that Google has crawled the sites during those missing days, and the issue is primarily with the reporting accuracy at this moment.

Discussions about this issue are taking place across forums and social media platforms, highlighting that it’s a known and recurring glitch rather than an indication of crawling problems.
